9/30 Tuesday

The moment she woke up, she knew that she couldn't put it off any longer.

She had to deal with the Tsukasa situation.

Immediately, she went to text Eiko.

Makoto: Hey, are you busy after school?

Makoto: I wanted to talk.

Eiko: I was just about to ask u the same

Eiko: So, rite after school

Makoto: Yes, that's fine.

Eiko: K, see u then

Taking a deep breath, Makoto prepared herself for her upcoming talk with Eiko.

It wouldn't be an easy conversation, that was for sure…

The moment classes ended for the day, Makoto swiftly went over to meet Eiko at their designated meeting spot. A small cafe in Shinjuku.

As she was walking towards her destination, however, she heard a voice calling out to her.

"Hey, excuse me! You there!"

Curious, Makoto turned to see a young woman with long blonde hair, a purple dress, and a blue headband.

"Umm… did you need something from me?" Makoto asked.

"Would you like me to read your fortune?" the woman asked. "They say that my fortunes can be quite reliable.

"Fortune telling?" she repeated.

"Oh, where are my manners?" the woman smiled. "My name is Chihaya Mifune, and yes, I'm a fortune teller!

Makoto frowned. She wasn't quite sure she really believed in fortune telling. Most fortune tellers that she heard about turned out to be scam artists.

"Is that really so?" Makoto asked. "I'm a little skeptical, to be honest. I know that the police frequently investigate 'fortune tellers'.

"H-Hey, what's with the skepticism?!" Chihaya stammered. "I'm running a legitimate business here! I'm not a scam artist like some other 'fortune tellers'. They keep using such terrible tactics like selling rock salt for absurd prices, saying that they'll help people with bad fortunes!"

"You… have a lot of knowledge on their methods." Makoto noted.

"W-Well, it's not like I'd employ those methods!" Chihaya stammered. "I just heard stories! Like about someone charging 100000 yen for rock salt!"

"Who would buy rock salt for 100000 yen?" Makoto muttered, shaking her head.

"You'd be surprised." Chihaya stated. "There was one boy around your age who bought it from someone a few months ago."

"He must have been a total fool." Makoto sighed.

"Fool… yes, that would be a good way to describe them." Chihaya nodded, glancing at her cards. "The Fool, indeed…"

"In any case, I have somewhere to be right now, so I can't-"

"It'll be quick!" Chihaya insisted. "Since you doubt me, I'll let your first reading be free!"

"Fine." Makoto relented. "Let's start, then."

Chihaya smiled, pulling out a deck of tarot cards and shuffling them before placing all of them right in front of her.

"Pick a card." Chihaya instructed.

She did so, picking one at random before showing it to the fortune teller.

The faith tarot… it was something that she had come to associate with Eiko…

"The faith card… it seems to play a very key role." Chihaya stated. "However… the card is reversed."

"Isn't that because you put it in the deck upside down?" Makoto asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Would ya just stop questionin' my dang methods!" Chihaya snapped.

"W-What's with your voice?" Makoto gasped.

Chihaya's eyes widened, and she stared glancing at the floor in embarrassment.

"Now look what ya done made me do." Chihaya mumbled. "Mah dang accent's slippin'!"

"O-Oh, I'm sorry!" Makoto apologized, caught off guard. "Please continue."

Chihaya took a deep breath before doing so.

"The Faith… it is reversed, as I said." Chihaya continued. "And also… I see… cracks."

"Cracks?" Makoto repeated.

"There is… severe damage to this person." Chihaya frowned. "This type of damage isn't something that can be easily fixed."

Makoto frowned. She hoped that just dealing with Tsukasa would be the end of Eiko's problems, but there was probably much more than that.

There was the case of Eiko's family, and also…

Dr. Maruki suddenly entered her thoughts.

"No… that's not… I'm just overthinking things, right?" Makoto thought.

"Is there anything else you can tell me?" Makoto asked.

"Hmm… well, I can tell that you're a part of a group." Chihaya noted.

Makoto bit her lip, hoping that she didn't know anything about the Phantom Thieves.

"This group… is currently teetering between Heaven and Hell." Chihaya warned. "In the near future, you will be forced to make an important decision that will decide the fate of you and your comrades."

"And what happens… if I choose poorly?" Makoto asked.

Chihaya gave her a serious look.

"You'll die."

Immediately, Makoto felt her body stiffen.

Could that really be true?

"This… isn't just an attempt to sell me some rock salt, is it?" Makoto asked.

"No!" Chihaya snapped. "I already told ya that I'm done wit that!"

"I see… I suppose I'll have to be careful then." Makoto muttered.

They had certainty been involved in several life-or-death situations before, but hearing it be so bluntly stated definitely unnerved her.

The fact that the masked man would now likely be coming after their group didn't help matters.

"I'm not entirely sure what's going on with you, but I wish you the best of luck." Chihaya said.

"Thank you." Makoto expressed.

"Oh, and if you'd like, I can give you a love compatibility readi-"

"N-No thank you, I'm fine!" Makoto stammered, quickly excusing herself.

She left the fortune telling voice, going to her meeting place with Eiko.

She saw Eiko at a nearby café, and quickly sat down across from her.

"Hey, Prez…" Eiko said, muttering her greeting.

"Hello, Eiko." Makoto greeted.

An awkward silence fell over the two of them as they ordered their food and waited for it.

Even as they got their food and began to eat, the silence didn't stop.

What was she even supposed to say?

This was a delicate situation, after all…

"Say, Eiko… you said that you wanted to talk to me about something, right?" Makoto began. "What was it about?"

"O-Oh, right." Eiko muttered. "Well, it's just… it's a little embarrassing to ask…"

"It's alright, Eiko, you can talk to me." Makoto expressed.

"I know, Prez, but…" Eiko trailed off, sighing. "I was wondering if you could loan me some money."

Makoto's eyes narrowed.

"… Why do you need money?" Makoto asked.

"Ah, well, you know, it's just-"

"Eiko." Makoto cut her off. "What is it for?"

Eiko bit her lip, turning away for a moment before answering.

"I was… helping Tsukasa pay back the money he said that the Yakuza was extorting from him." Eiko muttered. "He had almost finished paying it off when… he accidentally broke an expensive bottle of sake. So now he has to pay for that as well."

"And he's making you help him." Makoto pointed out.

"I-Is that really so unusual?!" Eiko questioned. "I'm his girlfriend, aren't I?! Of course I would help him!"

"Eiko… don't you think he might be taking advantage of you?" Makoto asked.

"What?! What are you talking about?!" Eiko shouted.

"You were with him when you were kidnapped by the Yakuza… but they didn't do anything to him, for some reason."

"T-They probably wanted ransom money from him or something!" Eiko argued.

"But if he has so much money, why is he having you pay for it?" Makoto asked. "And as soon as you're almost finished paying for it, he just so happens to drop an expensive bottle of sake?"

"Ms. Prez… why are you saying things like this?!" Eiko cried.

"I've heard rumors about him, Eiko." Makoto stressed. "Several women have talked about how a man called Tsukasa would pull these same tricks on them."

"W-Well maybe it's a different Tsukasa!" Eiko stuttered.

"Eiko, come on!" Makoto shouted. "He's even trying to pull some of his tricks on me!"

"What are you talking about?!" Eiko cried. "Tsukasa isn't pulling any tricks!"

"He's been sending me these suggestive messages." Makoto confessed. "Here, take a look."

She showed Eiko the text messages that Tsukasa had sent to her.

"You see how perverted these messages are?" Makoto asked. "Do you see what's going on?"

"Yeah… I see now." Eiko muttered.

"Then-"

"Y-You… you're trying to steal him away from me, aren't you?!" Eiko shouted, cutting her off. "You're just out to get me, just like everyone else!"

"Eiko, that's not it at all!" Makoto insisted. "I'm just worried about you."

"S-Shut up!" Eiko snapped. "You don't care about me at all! No one does! Not my parents, not my brother… NO ONE!

"Is that what Tsukasa told you?" Makoto frowned.

"Well is he wrong?!" Eiko cried. "He told me that nobody cares about me other than him. He said that I should distance myself from all of them, cause it's not like they want anything to do with me anyway!

"Eiko… I understand that you're suffering a lot, but Tsukasa is just taking advantage of y-"

"Shut the hell up!" Eiko shouted. "You don't know anything about what it's like to suffer!"

"Eiko, that's not true, I-"

"I TOLD YOU TO SHUT UP!"

Completely enraged, Eiko shoved her, Makoto nearly losing her balance from surprise.

"You don't know what it's like to have parents that are never around for you! You don't know what it's like to have a sibling that constantly berates you! You don't know what it's like to feel useless!" Eiko ranted. "You're just able to do everything flawlessly and have a perfect life while I'm constantly struggling! And now you want to take away the one good thing in my life?! Just go away, you bitch!

*SLAP*

Before she even realized what she was doing, Makoto had slapped Eiko across the face.

"You really think you're the only one who's suffered?!" Makoto snapped. "Wake up!"

"Why don't you wake up?!" Eiko snapped. "It's not like you know what it's like to have parents who don't care about you!"

"That's because both my parents are dead!" Makoto shouted.

Eiko winced, but she didn't let up.

"The only 'family' I have is a sibling who thinks I'm some useless parasite!" Makoto snapped.

Eiko glanced down at the floor, not able to meet her gaze as her eyes began tearing up.

"Then you should understand, right? How much I want to be acknowledged?" Eiko whispered. "Who cares if Tsukasa's affection is all a lie?! Isn't that better than the truth that nobody cares about me?!"

"Eiko, that's not true! I care!" Makoto insisted.

"Then just let me be happy…" Eiko muttered. "Even if it's a false happiness, it's better than the alternative, isn't it?"

A false happiness…

Eiko had become so desperate for any kind of happiness that she would even accept this…

How could she hope to convince her when she was like this?

Still, she had to do something, because regardless of Eiko's feelings, letting Tsukasa do as he pleased was putting her and many other women in danger.

She'd have to play this… delicately.

"Ok, I'm sorry, Eiko." Makoto said. "If that's what you want, I won't interfere. Can you forgive me?"

Eiko's eyes widened, realizing what she had said.

"O-Oh… of course." Eiko muttered. "You and Tsukasa… no matter what, I'll always forgive you two."

Makoto tried to not let the discomfort show on her face. Even if it was for the purpose of protecting her, she still felt horrible for manipulating her like this…

"P-Please… Please forgive me!" Eiko pleaded. "I'm sorry about what I said. J-Just… please don't abandon me. I'll do whatever you want."

"Eiko, there's no need for that." Makoto told her. "I just want to try and help you."

"Help?" Eiko repeated.

"Yeah, maybe I could help you two. My sister is a prosecutor, and she knows many members of the police force." Makoto explained. "Maybe they could help you if the Yakuza start bothering you two."

"R-Really?" Eiko whispered. "E-Even after what I said?"

"I told you I care, didn't I?" Makoto asked. "But… in order to really be able to help, we'd need his full name."

Thankfully, Eiko seemed to buy her lie.

"It's Tsubasa Yamaguchi." Eiko answered. "Please, you have to help him!

"Tsubasa Yamaguchi…" Makoto repeated. "Alright, I understand. Thank you, Eiko. I'll… make sure that you aren't bothered again."

"Thanks, Ms. Prez." Eiko expressed. "But…"

"But what?" Makoto asked.

"It's just… ever since that incident where I got captured by those Yakuza, and… maybe even a little before then… you've been acting kinda strange." Eiko said.

"Strange how…?" Makoto asked.

"It's just… it always feels like you're carrying some massive burden." Eiko explained. "I can't help but worry about you."

"Eiko, there's no need for that." Makoto insisted. "You don't have to worry about me. I'll be fine."

"But… I don't want you doing anything reckless." Eiko whispered. "Especially not for my sake."

"Eiko… you don't have to worry. I don't plan on doing anything dangerous." Makoto said, lying through her teeth.

Eiko nodded. "Alright… and thank you again, Ms. Prez."

"Anytime, Eiko." Makoto smiled.

The two of them talked for a little longer before she went home for the day.

10/1 Wednesday

As soon as classes ended for the day, she started to make her way home.

Just a few blocks away from school, however, she felt someone grab her arm and force her into an alley.

"Haven't you meddled enough at this point?"

Makoto's eyes widened, seeing Tsukasa glaring at her, a knife in his hand.

"Eiko told me everything…" Tsukasa said. "You've been filling her head with a bunch of nonsense, haven't you?"

"She told you…?" Makoto asked.

"You know that she'll do whatever I ask her to do." Tsukasa grinned. "As long as I pressure her a bit."

"You rotten bastard…" Makoto glared.

"Yeah, yeah, call me what you want." Tsukasa scoffed. "But I can't have you interfering… once I've dealt with you, that stupid girl will be even more dependent on me. She'll do whatever I tell her to do."

Makoto grit her teeth, completely enraged.

"So, why don't you be a good little princess and-"

*BAM*

She punches Tsukasa right in the face, knocking him back.

"You… you little bitch!" Tsukasa snapped.

Tsukasa tried to slash at her with the knife, but she retaliated by grabbing and flipping him onto his back, kicking the knife away as it fell out of his hand.

Tsukasa glared at her with pure hatred, quickly climbing to his feet before-

"Tsukasa-kun!"

Tsukasa turned around, seeing Eiko at the entrance to the alley.

"W-What's going on?" Eiko stammered.

"Oh, it's nothing, Princess." Tsukasa lied. "Your friend here just accidentally got a nasty cut. I was just about to help her out."

Makoto glanced at her arm, seeing that she indeed had a cut on it.

"It's alright. It's nothing major." Makoto insisted. "I can just go home and bandage it up."

"Oh, don't worry, I don't mind making sure you get home safely." Tsukasa grinned.

"There's no need." Makoto insisted. "I'll be perfectly fine on my own."

"Please, I insist." Tsukasa replied, his tone slightly more forceful.

"I really don't-"

"T-Tsukasa-kun!" Eiko stammered. "You don't need to bother. I can bring her home."

"Princess, don't worry, I've got this." Tsukasa stated.

"N-No, I don't want to burden you, Tsukasa-kun!" Eiko argued. "P-Please, let me help out."

Tsukasa glanced between the two of them before letting out a sigh.

"Fine, whatever." Tsukasa shrugged. "But Princess… don't forget about the sake, ok?"

Eiko winced. "O-Of course not, Tsukasa-kun. I would never."

Tsukasa left the two of them alone, Eiko approaching her.

"Ms. Prez… what happened?" Eiko asked.

"… It's nothing." Makoto lied.

She wasn't sure if Eiko would even believe the truth.

"Did… Tsukasa do this to you?" Eiko asked.

She gasped.

"Eiko, I…" Makoto muttered.

"W-What am I supposed to do, Ms. Prez?!" Eiko cried. "I don't know what to do!

"Eiko… I can't force you to do anything." Makoto said. "But… I think you should follow your heart."

"My heart…" Eiko repeated.

"You should… do what you want to do, Eiko." Makoto told her.

"What I… want to do…" Eiko repeated.

"I'll… see you tomorrow, Eiko." Makoto said, excusing herself."

"W-Wait, are you sure that you'll be ok?" Eiko asked. "That cut looks really bad."

"You don't have to worry." Makoto insisted. "Trust me, I'll be fine."

"… Alright, Prez. See you tomorrow." Eiko sighed.

The two went their separate ways, Makoto quickly sneaking her way into another alleyway.

"Where are you going?" Morgana asked.

"I was hoping to heal myself in the Metaverse, if possible." Makoto explained.

"… You weren't thinking of taking on Tsukasa right now, were you?" Morgana asked.

"I… I suppose that would be too dangerous with just the two of us." Makoto sighed. "Then… I'll just get some training in, then."

"Well… alright, but if it's just us too, we shouldn't go too deep into Mementos." Morgana warned.

"Of course." Makoto nodded.

The two of them entered Mementos.

Neither of them realizing that they had been followed.

The moment that they arrived, they immediately heard a loud scream.

"AHHHHHH! Where the hell am I?!"

Makoto's eyes widened, whipping around to see a very frightened Eiko.

"Oh no!" Morgana gasped. "She must have been tailing us!"

"How didn't you see her?!" Makoto exclaimed.

"She must have been hiding right outside of the alley! Must have still been in range, though." Morgana frowned.

"What the hell?! A talking cat?!" Eiko screamed.

"H-How dare you!" Morgana yelled. "I'm not-"

"Quiet, Mona!" Makoto hissed.

Seeing Eiko's terrified expression, she tried to calm her down.

"It'll be alright." Makoto stressed. "We aren't going to hurt you."

Eiko continued to panic, however, not recognizing her in her thief outfit.

"G-Get away from me!" Eiko screamed. "Get away!"

"Wait, hold on!" Makoto cried. "It's dangerous here! You have to leave!"

Eiko didn't listen, however, instead running away from her as fast as she could.

"We have to go after her!" Morgana shouted. "If she runs into a shadow, she's done for!"

"I know, but… should we call her by her actual name?" Makoto asked. "It might help her recognize us, but…"

"Hmm… let's try to avoid it, if possible." Morgana decided. "Just in case."

The two chased after Eiko, following her into an isolated part of the floor, seeing her enter a strange portal.

"That portal…" Makoto whispered.

"Not good! There must be a powerful shadow in there!" Morgana declared. "We have to chase after her!"

The two of them entered the portal after Eiko.

Sure enough, she wasn't alone…

But she wasn't alone…

"T-Tsukasa-kun?!" Eiko cried.

"Hey, Princess." Tsukasa greeted. "What are you doing here?"

"T-Tsukasa-kun… What's wrong with you?" Eiko asked, noting his gleaming yellow eyes and the dark aura surrounding him.

"Nothing, nothing. Now why don't you stay here a while…" Tsukasa stated.

Eiko winced. "Tsukasa, you're hurting me…"

"Get away from her!" Makoto shouted.

Both of them turned towards her and Morgana, Tsukasa scowling.

"You…!" Tsukasa muttered.

"W-Wait!" Eiko gasped, getting a better look at her. "I-Is that you, Prez?!"

"Get away from Tsukasa!" Makoto shouted.

"Don't listen to her, Princess." Tsukasa argued. "You should keep away from her, and your family too. Your family doesn't care, and she just wants to tear us apart. None of them care about your happiness like I do!"

"Shut up!" Makoto snapped. "You're just using her! You're isolating her from everyone else in her life so that she becomes completely dependent on you! You're working with the Yakuza to exploit girls like her and make them your slaves!"

"Let's say all of that is true… what are you going to do about it?" Tsukasa asked. "You think people haven't tried to threaten or accuse me of shit before?! I'll deal with you the same way I dealt with them!"

Tsukasa suddenly dissolved into a black and red ooze, Eiko screaming as he began to change form, becoming a bizarre cross between a human and a goat with black fur. Atop his head were deadly horns, and he also sported two large, black wings.

"I'll make you disappear!"

Makoto immediately tried to charge Tsukasa, only for several Oni to get in her way.

"You didn't think that I wouldn't have some hired muscle, did you?" Tsukasa grinned.

Seeing Tsukasa distracted, Eiko slowly began to crawl away from him.

"Mona, blow them away!" Makoto shouted.

Morgana nodded, blasting the Oni away with gusts of wind.

Makoto tried to capitalize, but was forced to jump back when Tsukasa shot out chunks of ice at her.

"Valkyrie!" Makoto called. "Deathbound!"

She unleashed a powerful shockwave, damaging both the Oni and Tsukasa.

"You little…!" Tsukasa snapped.

Tsukasa shot out a fireball, catching her by surprise.

"Fire too?!" Makoto gasped.

"I've got your back, Queen!" Morgana shouted.

As the Oni approached her, Morgana fired off another gust of wind, finishing them off.

"Let me heal you, Queen!" Morgana shouted.

"I won't let you!" Tsukasa roared.

Before he could heal her wounds, Morgana was blasted with a bolt of lightning, crying out in pain.

"Mona!" Makoto shouted.

Suddenly, dark tendrils struck both Morgana and herself.

Makoto groaned in pain, glancing upwards to see three shadows with long, spiky black hair and freakishly long nails.

"Do you get it now?" Tsukasa mocked. "Gullible young women are my puppets to do with as I please. There's nothing you can do to stop me!"

Shifting his gaze towards Eiko, he quickly shot out a bolt of lightning near her.

"AHHHH!" Eiko screamed.

"Don't touch her!" Makoto roared.

She summoned Anat, blasting through the shadows with Freila spells before rushing Tsukasa.

Tsukasa tried to hit her with another fireball, but she swiftly dodged, leaping onto Tsukasa before punching his face.

"I won't let you hurt her anymore!" Makoto yelled, punching Tsukasa again and again.

She braced herself as she saw Tsukasa attempting to fire off another Zionga spell…

… Only to realize that it wasn't aimed at her.

She rushed towards Eiko, pushing her out of the way of the lightning, only to get shocked herself.

Seeing the three shadows rushing her, Makoto fired off a Mafreila. She managed to take one of the down, but the other two managed to dodge, continuing to charge… until they sliced them with their claws.

"E-Everything's… going… blurry…" Makoto muttered.

She saw her blood beginning to drip down onto the floor.

"MAKOTOOOOOOOO!" Eiko screamed.

"Ahahahaha!" Tsukasa laughed. "I knew you wouldn't be able to stop yourself from protecting her… even at the cost of your life."

"T-Tsukasa!" Eiko shouted. "Is it really true?! Do you really not care about me at all?!"

"There really is nothing in that head of yours, is there?" Tsukasa scoffed. "Do you still not understand?! Of course I don't care! I only ever cared about your money!"

"N-No… then it was all fake…?" Eiko trailed off.

"Let me spell it out in a way even you can understand." Tsukasa mocked. "I've been working with the Yakuza the entire time! I was the one who told Kaneshiro about you! I'm the one who orchestrated your kidnapping!"

"W-What?! But why?!" Eiko gasped.

"My host club is all about luring vulnerable and stupid women like you. I charm them by pretending to care, and then I pull this little bottle trick. I break a bottle of sake and make it seem like it's their fault." Tsukasa explained. "It's always some cheap shit, but I tell them it was a really expensive bottle!"

"That's what happened to me!" Eiko realized.

"Very good, Princess!" Tsukasa said condescendingly. "Thing is, most of the girls don't have the money to pay it back, so I just give them over to the Yakuza, and make a nice profit when they're sold into prostitution."

"Y-You… how can you do something like that?!" Eiko cried.

"You're lucky your family is so loaded." Tsukasa grinned. "It's the only thing a useless girl like you is good for!"

"I… I…" Eiko stammered.

"You… have to run." Makoto whispered. "On your phone… there should be a new app… use it to escape."

"W-What?!" Eiko cried. "N-No, I can't just leave you."

"It's ok… I can… handle this." Makoto muttered.

"No you can't!" Eiko cried. "You're bleeding!"

"Just… go!" Makoto shouted. "Please!"

"I… I can't!" Eiko muttered. "I can't leave you!"

Eiko turned towards Tsukasa, glaring defiantly at him.

"You…! You slimy, greedy, predatory piece of shit!" Eiko snapped. "I WILL NEVER… LET YOU HURT MAKOTO!"

Eiko's eyes suddenly widened, feeling a strange sensation over her entire body.

Aren't you tired of being abused? Of being ignored?

"W-What?" Eiko gasped. "Who's there?!"

Finally, you can hear me, just as I once heard the voice that guided me…

Eiko's body began to shake, her breathing becoming heavy.

"Whoever you are, please! You have to help me!" Eiko screamed. "You have to help Makoto!"

Only you can help her now. Only with your power.

"My… power…?" Eiko repeated.

Do you desire to be acknowledged? Do you desire to stop feeling like a burden?

Eiko started clenching her fists as she bowed her head.

"I do...!"

Then acknowledge your desire, and rise!

"Yeah… that's… that's exactly what I'll do, Joan…" Eiko whispered.

Slowly, Eiko walked towards Tsukasa.

"No, you have to run!" Makoto screamed in terror.

I am Thou, Thou art I…

It is finally time to raise the standard of war… and smite all who would keep us chained down! Go now, and claim the freedom you so desperately desire!

"Sorry Prez… but I refuse to run away anymore! I refuse to be taken advantage of!" Eiko cried. "You've protected me for so long, but this time…

Eiko lifted her head, a mask resembled a knight's visor now on her face.

"... I promise to protect you!

"A-A mask?!" Makoto stammered.

"There's no way…!" Morgana gasped.

"Hey!" Tsukasa snapped. "What the hell are you idiots doing?! Capture her!"

As the shadows ran towards her, Eiko gripped at her mask… and easily ripped it right off!

Right before the shadows could strike, a brilliant bright light shone over Eiko, blowing them away.

When the light began to fade…

The first thing Makoto saw was a war standard with a pointed tip floating in the air…

And on top of the standard…

Wearing a pure black slitted dress, white gloves, brown leather boots, and a large witch's hat…

…Was Eiko, glaring down at Tsukasa.

And behind her stood a woman with blonde hair, shining steel armor, and a cape blowing in the wind. In their hand was a brilliant sword made of steel.

Makoto and Morgana suddenly felt their wounds being healed.

"T-This is… a Persona!" Morgana realized.

"Hah! A-And what are you gonna do, princess?" Tsukasa mocked, taking a cautionary step back.

"I'll tell you!" Eiko shouted. "I'm gonna make sure that you never hurt another woman again! I'm gonna make sure you never work with Yakuza again! I'm gonna make sure you don't even think about breaking another bottle! Because…"

Several giant orbs of light appeared around Eiko.

"I'M GONNA BREAK YOU!" Eiko roared. "SMITE THEM, JOAN OF ARC!"
