"Hey EDI is the design schematics okay for the retrofit of the Rustbucket"
"Yes Mr Tennyson. The design is up to date. Kennith and Gabby have provided some much needed upgrades to Your newly formed shuttle engines. Garrus has given the RustBucket updated firing computers and weaponry. Tali gave an extensive overhaul on the shuttle systems."
It been a month and a couple of weeks After the Team came back from Kasumi Mission. Who by the way is in her sleeping quarters going over her emotions. Shepard is taking a much needed break by planning his next mission. Jack return the disk, Thanking him and went back to her cave. Ben in the meanwhile started work on fixing up the RustBucket Getting help from everyone who can proved it. Right Ben eating in the cafeteria thinking how it coming together nicely he just needs a warp core.
"Ah Tennyson. I was hoping to have a word" Ben looks at and sees Samara.
"Hey Samara. What can good oh Ben help you with" Samara takes a seat opposite Ben.
"I wanted to see how your Biotic Practice is going on with. Bio-otic" After the citadel Ben went to Samara for help to train his vanguard biotic skills. There been going at for a few weeks before Ben was ready to train himself to form his own style.
"Sure I'm just about to finish my meal. Let's take this to the hangar Bay. I'm sure Prometheus is going to be intrigue by Biotics at this day and Age" Samara nods her head. Samara is one of the few who has no grievances for Prometheus to join the crew when Ben sort of return him to his previous state. Well her, ship, Shepard, Thane and Morden. Everyone else is on edge on the matter.
The Normandy Hangar Bay
Both Samara and Ben walk out of the elevator and into the Hangar bay. Ben turns to see Kennith working on the Rustbucket.
"Hey Kennith I thought we could not work on the RustBucket until we find the a warp core"
"Oh yes but I got in contact with a friend on Illum. She has the parts we need to finish this puppy. Oh she going to be a Beaut." Ben rolled his eyes but asked.
"Have you seen, Ship or Prometheus."
Yeah they Prometheus is with the Doc for his latest checkup to make sure all that reaper crap out of him. Ship with him for support" Ben nods "Thanks. We won't bother you. We just doing some light training" Kennith nods going back to working the Rustbucket
He turns to Samara "So shall we get started" Samara nods "indeed." She waves her hand for Ben to get changed. He does so hitting the Omnitrix " Bi-Otic!" HE/She exclaimed. Samara nods her Head. Kennith whistle "I have heard of what you can do but god dam. If I am not jealous right now" Ben rolls his eyes at Kennith again.
"Now show me some of the skills we practiced" He does. Brining out a shockwave, Pull, Throw, Reave, Charge and Nova. One after the other. They get into for a few hours training to master the skills and powers.
Samara smiles and nods "Good. With this you should be able to form your own fighting style now that you got the hang of your skills but do not slack. Your Biotics are just a part of your body like your hand on your arm."
The Elevator door opens Ben and Samara turned sees Shepard, Morden, Jack and Grunt walking out. Shepard spoke first. "Ah Ben I see your Training. I was hoping for you to lend Grunt some Aid while I help out Morden on a personal matter. We heading to Tuchanka The home world for the Krogan."
Ben DE transforms and Answers "Yeah I can Aid Grunt and what up with Morden. It like he seen a ghost" Samara sees the look in Morden eyes, Pain and makes a call. "Shepard, I would like to accompany you to help Morden in his personal matter. I feel my expertise will help Morden on his Journey"
Shepard nods his head but looks to Morden whole also nods "much apricated"
"Alright everyone on the shuttle." They do so. One by one.
Ben ask the undying question "So what wrong with Grunt"
"We don't know, so we going to speak to Clan Urgnot on Tuchanka" Shepard answered. Grunt growls acknowledging the answer that Shepard provided. Then awkward silence grows in the journey to the planet surface.
Tuchanka LZ
A few hours later
They walk out of the shuttle Guns pointed at them. A krogan walks up speaking in a condescending tone "The Clan chief wants to speak with you" He sees Grunt within the Group and growls in frustration "Keep your running pet on short leash. Put him through the rite soon or put him Down" Shepard and his group walk down to the hall towards the main centre.
Ben whistles "charming place. Should come here for my next Birthday" Jack snorts "you would not last a minute here pipsqueak". Samara looks on "Shepard isn't that the couple you help back on Illum" Shepard turns to look and see that it is the very same couple. smiles "I'm glad that worked out for them" The couple is a asari and Krogan mix a Krogan that love poetry. Morden is silent and grunt is frustrated as they walk.
They make it to the centre of Clan Urgnot.
Tuchanka Clan Urgnot
They see a pile of rubble and a ledge in the right dab centre of the place. A throne overseeing everyone and everything. They walked up to the side of the pile of rubble where two guards are stationed.
Guard 1 putting his arm up and hand out "Halt. You must wait till the Clan leader summons you. He is in talks" He said that last part with some reluctance like he wants the talk to end.
? "You Know what Tradition demands. Clan Urgnot must respond. Your reforms will not go unopposed. You risk appearing weak at a critique time." While the random Krogan was saying this the leader Krogan look over to see.
"Shepard" In a gruff deep voice. Shepard smirk "good Enough"
Jack whistle "Who knew are fearless leader had clout with a Krogan clan. My respect went up a lot" Both Leader Krogan and Shepard move the random Krogans out of the way to get to each other. "Excuse me" The leader Krogan laughs snortly "Out of my way"
"Shepard My Friend. You look well for Dead. Should of known the void could not of hold you" The Leader Krogan grab Shepard shoulder in friendly warrior manner. Ben eyes widen as he thinking 'Dead?'
"Wrex. Looks like you've done well for yourself"
"Not for me Shepard but for all Krogan. Clan Urgnot is just the start. When I am done we will be one people again."
? scoffs "you abandoned many traditions to get your way. Dangerous" Wrex turns and Headbutts The random Krogan that seems to spite Wrex.
"Speak when spoken to Uvenk. I Drag your clan to glory whether it likes it or not" Wrex goes to sit in his throne. Turns back to look at Shepard "Now Shepard what brings you here. How the Normandy?"
"Destroyed and I got Spaced"
"Well you look good. AH The benefits of a redundant nervous system"
"Yeah we humans don't have that"
"Oh it must have been painful then but you standing here and your got a strong new ship. Takes me back to the old days us against the Unknown, killing it with big guns. Good times" Shepard smirk back agreeing.
"I have a krogan on my crew, he has some sort of sickness and needs treatment" Grunt moves forward. Shepard moving to the side allowing him to pass.
Wrex looks in with interest "Were are you from welp. Was your clan destroyed before you learn what is expected of you"
Grunt, grunts "I have no Clan. I was Tank Breed By warlord O'keer. My line is distilled from Craduck, Moro, shogger." As Grunt said this. Uvenk walked around grunt like he is a stain. "You recite warlords but you're an offspring of a syringe"
Grunt scowls "I'm am pure Krogan. You should be in awe." Wrex smirks. "Okeer a old name a very hated name." Grunts nods "He is Dead" Wrex just chuckles "Of course your with Shepard. How can he be alive"
"Thanks for the vote of confidence Wrex" Wrex smirks back at Shepard. "Anyway I need Grunt back up to speed. What wrong with him?"
Wrex shakes his head "there nothing wrong with him. He becoming a full adult." Ben smirks "I did not know it was your birthday Grunt. I Would of given a beat down with Humungousaur like you wanted" Grunt snarled back "Bring it shapeshifter"
Wrex eyes widen and looks at Ben "you're the shapeshifter I heard about." Ben nods back. Wrex smirks. "Heard you can turn into different Aliens. Is Krogan on that list"
Ben smirks Back "it can be if you give me a DNA to scan" Wrex nods and bring guard 2 forward "Scan him" Uvenk eyes widen. Wrex Stops him before he gets to say anything. "I want to test a theory".
Ben does and scans the Krogan Guard 2. Unidentified scanned confirmed. He hist the Omnitrix "Brogan!" He shouted.
Shepard snort "Brogan?"
"Well The krogan seem such friendly people I though I give them a bro status". Wrex looks over the shapeshifter. Then to Shepard. "You think you ship can scan his body for in case he not infected by the Genophage"
Shepard nods holding up his Omni-tool. Morden eyes exclaimed at this potential discovery "EDI Scan Tennyson in his Krogan form. Give us any readings if he is Affected by the Genophage"
EDI Voice is carried back "Done. Brogan is in fact not Affected by the Genophage." All Krogan eyes wonder to the shapeshifter. Even Uvenk who was reluctant now sees the benefits of this "But not without time. His DNA can in fact create a cure but does require a decent lab and the right equipment to make it work. I estimate about a few years before it being completion"
"Thanks EDI" Shepard said. Wrex looks at the shapeshifter "You my friend have been made a friend of the Krogan people and when the time comes. We want you available for making the cure"
Ben/Brogan nods "Done, I don't like what happened to your People even if you were aggressive. It been far too long for you to suffer under the Genophage" Wrex nods "Good" He Turns to Grunt.
"As for you welp. You have to go through the rite of passage" Uvenk growls in anger."Too far Wrex. Your clan may rule but that thing is not Krogan"
"Idiot" Wrex muttered. Ben now back to Human form stated "And here I thought all krogan are Headstrong warriors not runaway assholes" Wrex smirks at the human but not looking directly at him.
" Grunt Do you wish to stand we clan Urgnot" . Shepard looks at both Wrex and Grunt. He nods at Grunt for him to make a decision.
Grunt walks back to the overview seeing all the Krogan doing different task "It in my Blood. It what I am for," Wrex nods smiling. "Good Boy. Speak with the shaman. He over on the second level. Give him a good show and he set you on the path" Grunt nods looking at Ben and Jack eager to go. Ben nods Back "We get going then. Good luck Morden.". The three head to the stairs to the second level.
Wrex looks at Shepard raising an eyebrow "They can take care of themselves. I got some unfortunate news that affects your people." Wrex nods his head for Shepard to continue
"Morden here Looking for a fellow Scientist that capture by clan Weyloc and from what I heard they work with the Blood Pack" Wrex grunt in confirmation. "Talk to my chief scout. He set you on the path".
Shepard nods but looks at Morden "He going to find out it best if we get his whole support" Morden stares at Shepard. "Doubtful" Wrex grunt "Shepard what do you mean I am going to find out"
Morden with pleading eyes "please Shepard will cause disaster" Shepard shakes his head "it already one when your own people are starting to have doubts. Plus This can help Both you and the Krogans think about it. Secrets don't last forever" Morden nods his head. "fine. I understand but not happy." Shepard smile "I know but trust me it help in the long run". Shepard looks at wrex who is understandably not happy by being kept waiting.
"Wrex. Morden here is the modifier of the Genophage the scientist we rescuing was part of the team also" Wrex eyes widen looks at Morden then back at Shepard "You brought that Here" He growls at them.
"If I read the situation right and with the help of Ben Krogan DNA we might find a cure. You know me Wrex. I owe you for Virmire and I paying you back" Wrex eyes squinted. "How sure are you?"
Morden is the one who answers "80%. Positive. Knowing my assistance. He be forced to find a cure so there going to be data there that can help" Wrex hums Then looks out "Im coming with you to confirm this. Shepard my friend you better be right about this."
Shepard gaped "wouldn't that…. I don't know look" Wrex Snorted "Not really no. No one likes Clan Weylock and if Urgnot the one destroying them well, it a win win. I also Everything will be fine will I gone for a bit. They know what I am about."
Shepard smirks back then "You know I am right then don't you Then" Wrex nods. To him weylock has always being trying to find a cure. If they kidnapped a Salarian Scientist well. There be further down the line then most of they past plans and if Brogan DNA to go by his species we return to glory.
"Come we go to the chief scout and get a ride to weylock Clan base"
Tuchanka Clan Urgnot 2F
Ben, Jack and Grunt walk up the stairs and see more Krogan and Uvenk in an argument with another Krogan wearing what looks to be official Robs.
"I'm guessing that the shaman" Jack ask with a bored tone.
The shaman speaks "You Go beyond yourself Gatatog Uvenk. The rites of Urgnot are Dominant"
Uvenk Express his concerns "How do we know it will challenge him. He Unnatural. The beats of the rite could ignore him like a love of plastic"
The shaman in the most Krogan deadpanned expression ever "They know Blood no matter the womb. Your barking does not help your case."
Grunt growls "I speak for Myself"
The shaman turns "This is the Tank Bread. It is very life like. Smells correct as well. Your protest ring Hollow Uvenk
Ben 'Coughs' "I don't give a shit what this Idiot says. Grunt has more right to be here. More than this coward anyway and here I though Krogan Fight head first into conflicts not complain like kids not getting the toy they wanted." Jack snorts in the background.
The shaman smiles at the human "They some fire and from Alien too. Oh the shame that deceits on those who whine like pups"
Uvenk Growls at the human "If this must stand on ritual Then I revoke a denial. My Krantt stands against him. He has no one"
The shaman loses that smile "My patience is tested but Uvenk invokes correctly. Grunt who is your Krantt. Your allies that are willing to Kill and die on your behalf"
Ben smirks "Grunt will strengthen Clan Urgnot. Name the target and it will Die"
The shaman gains his smile back nodding "Spoken well. Most aliens and some Krogan" He looks to Uvenk "do not understand our ways. I believe this human does"
Uvenk is now howling "Aliens don't know strength, My follows are true Krogan, everything about…" He speech was cut short because Ben Hit his watch Turn into Crashhopper and smacked his head against Uvenk. "You… you Dare"
"Bet Right I do Buddy. Cricket. Want to go another round. Cricket" Jack in the back was laughing her head of holding her belly for dear life. Grunt smirking. So was the shaman. "Hahahaha. I like this shapeshifter he understands."
Uvenk frowns "I.. withdraw my Denial. This will be decided elsewhere" He bumps into Crashhopper.
The shaman finish his statement "You provoked them. Reason enough for me to like you. They your problem now"
Grunts nods "Yet get going. I want to learn what it means to be a true Krogan"
The shaman smiles "Good. Your Learning. Let's go our transport are waiting"
Tuchanka The Rite.
After a short drive in a rundown heavy armoured vehicle from the Urgnot Clan base. They exit the vehicle One by one walking up a tunnel like pipe. Ben now back in his human form during ride started walking next to jack while the shaman started explaining. "This is Tuchanka's Most recent scar, the last city to fall in the rebellions. The Keystone is the heart. It has survived wars in the passage of centuries. It endures - like the krogan"
They make it to the top breathing in the dusty apocalyptic air and the city that once a boon now laid to rest.
The shaman continues "if you wish to join clan Urgnot, you must contemplate the keystone and it trials."
Grunt nods and asks "What will happen"
The shaman quickly answers "Who knows? You must adapt. You must thrive, no matter the situation. Any true Krogan will"
A few minutes Later.
Ben cover his forehead with his hand resting "Well that was insightful. I better get change if I am going to survive this" He Hits his Omnitrix. A green flash makes a appearance. "SWAMPFIRE!" He shouted in musk tone.
Grunt instantly caught on the smell "You smell Like Methane" Jack caught just after "Dam man that skinks" Swampfire/Ben shrugs "I can produce it, because I can showcase this" His hands stick out. Fire coming out of his hands. Grunt laughed Hartley from that and smacked his arm clean of.
Jack smirks "You going to need that" Swampfire smirks back "I know" and starts to regenerate a brand new arm" Jack eyes widen. Grunt look like a Christmas gift came early.
"Holy shit!" Jack exclaimed.
"Better hit the Keystone Grunt" Grunt nods at Swampfire. He goes over and hits the keystone.
The shaman over loudspeaker/intercom. "first the krogan conquered… and mastered a natural only we fit to hold."
Grunt smiling "Here they come, I'm ready"
Jack crackled "Now this is a birthday bash"
Swampfire punch his plant fists together smiling " Let gets ready to rumble. Urm what are they?"
Jack answers "They Varren. A dog like creature that likes to hunt Helps that they got four eyes."
Varren came popping out of the wood work. Charging at the three. The three hold of the High pack of Varren. Jack using her shotgun, Shockwave and Pull. Grunt Also a shotgun but also charging, using his fist to do the talking. Swampfire Fire out hot steam of fire, control fire aiming at any Varren directed towards him. Some manged to tear hit apart for only to grow back to normal. He also thrown out Purple fruit grenades that entangles the Varren in a trap. Allowing Him, jack or grunt to Kill them in place.
A few minutes after a warm of Varren attack.
"Hit the Keystone Grunt again Grunt. We got huh uh… This" Grunt nods and heads to hit it.
The shaman over loudspeaker/intercom " Then the Krogan were lifted to the stars to destroy the fears of a galaxy an enemy only we could chase to their lair."
Grunt Growled "Crawlers come to they death" Red Beast that spite out fire from they Bodies They also get transported by massive bugs that look very territorial.
"Urm they look fire proof?"
Jacks snorts at Ben comment "That because they are. Also they called klixen, That big thing that carries them are Harvesters"
"Shit. Time to Change again." He hits the watch. "Articguana!" in a cold freezer voice. He looks at Grunt and Jack. "I freeze you break" They both smiled back. They go at it Smashing every freezing klixen that attacks them. Swarm after swarm. They slow charge allows the three heroes to fight back in Range, while given a good close encounter for them to smash the iced Klixen that . Articguana made. It takes them a good 10 minutes before Grunt smashes the Harvester. Articguana Freezing every Klixen and Jack smashing them into pieces.
The shaman over loudspeaker/intercom " Now all Krogan Bear the Genophage, our reward our curse. It a fight where the only goal is to survive!"
Grunt Grunted "feel that everything is…. Shaking. I'm ready!" As he that the ground shakes harder and a massive worm comes from Below.
Articguana Bellows "What the FUCK IS THAT!" Grunt is smiling "A Thresher maw" Jack screams "Move it Pipsqueak. It acids can burn even hard rock"
"Shit" Ben muttered but he also dodges as the acid from the Thresher maw hits the pillar behind him. "Well, I think I am going to change again" He hits his Omnitrix "Armadrillo!"
Jack shouts "Aren't you going to be slow in that form." She said this while dodging the Thresher mew attacks. Grunt just enjoying himself firing away at the worm beast.
"Not if I do this" His arms turn into jack hammer drills. He slammed into the floor and started a mini earthquake, making the Thresher maw lose control. He looks to grunt. "Grunt Go for the Kill" Jack smirks knowing what the pipsqueak plan is. The Thresher maw mouth is open.
"Grunt Go. Enjoy Adult hood kid!" She shouted at Grunt. Grunt nods and starts a running jump behind Armadrillo. He used him as a running jump platform "Hey" and Jump high into the mouth of the Thresher maw.
Armadrillo stops his drilling and walks up next to jack. "hmm 50 credits he kills that thing within an hour" Jacks giggled "100 and 2 hours".
He looked at jack "Done"
2 hours later.
The Thresher maw was thrashing about and from the looks of things the maw now collapses in front of Jack and Ben who back in Human form. He pays jack her credits "Next time" Jack smirked back and ask Grunt.
"How was it in there"
Grunt just smiled back "HE, HE, HE"
2 hours earlier, with Grunt
"I AM KROGAN" Grunt screamed. Then Grunt started smashing the insides of The thresher maw damaging it very internal body.
Back to the present with all three.
Ben just smirk at that answers "well lets get to the….." But was interrupted by an incoming vessel flying above and landing in the clearing just above them. All three was intrigued by this interruption, so there investigate.
Grunt smirks "We got company. Good I want more"
Another Hour later.
They walk up to see Uvenk. All three muttered Great.
"What do you want Uvenk" Ben ask quickly so there can get this over with.
Uvenk ignores Ben and direct the conversation to Grunt. "you live, and you brought down the thresher maw. No one has done that in generations. Urgnot Wrex was the last."
Grunt nodded "my Krantt Gave me strength Beyond my genes. Which are dammed good"
Uvenk continues "This will cause discussion I wonder…. you say you are pure no alien meddling in your construction. just the warlord Okeer"
Jack is starting to get annoyed by Uvenk "You Bastard is the best damm Krogan. He been Design to be perfect, you jackarse!"
"Being designed is the problem…. but not made by aliens and he is truly powerful that is a tolerable loophole"
Grunt Growls "A what?"
"A reason to accept you. you are a mistake, but your potential could tip the current balance of the clans"
"you spit on my father's name. On Shepard's name but now you stop ranting because I'm strong" Grunt rants
"with restrictions you could not breed of course, or serve on an alien ship. But you'd be in clan in name"
Ben raises an eyebrow "Grunt it sounds like you're a trophy to them not a warrior. Let show them what a real warrior looks like" Grunts smirks and nods. Jack fires up her biotics. The enemy krogen now get ready to fight. Ben hits the omnitix.. "KickenHawk!. Time to kick Butt. Charge!" All three charge at all the Krogan Uvenk showcased behind him.
After a few hour of beating Uvenk and his men senseless. Using Biotics shotguns and Kicks from KickenHawk Feet. They head back to the Keystone. Meeting the Shaman who was waiting. He nods and they head to the transport to return to clan urgnot.
Tuchanka Clan Urgnot 2F
"you have passed the rite of passage, earning the honour of clan and name! many survive, but it been years since a thresher mew Fell and from inside its own guts no less. Your name shall live in glory." Grunt bows as this was being said.
"Grunt, you are now Urgnot. You may own property, join the army, and apply service to serve under a battlemaster"
"Shepard is my battle master he has no match"
The shaman nods "Understood. Congratulations Urgnot Grunt. Accept This token fortack. His weapon are the finest we have" Grunt stands up and nods back. "Goodbye Shaman"
"Goodbye Urgnot Grunt, may your foes, fear your strength" All three walk away
"Well that was fun, let's explore a bit shall. I highly doubt Shepard and his group is back yet" Ben said like he is a child in a new playground.
"Yes lets. I heard they got a Verran pit ring" jack excitedly stated. Grunt snorted as the three walt towards the pits.

Notes: For the Other Mass effect Alien forms. I am basing them of the mass effect classes systems. Including Andromeda. Yes I Know Andromeda was not well received (which in my opinion is a shame because the game did have it moments) but the skills Andromeda provided are pretty cool like backlash for example.
