Welcome to the next chapter of The Twin Dragons, but before starting. Let us answer some reviews:

Sunfang193: I was thinking about it, though I think that Xenovia would better match him considering all the times that she attempts to sleep with Issei in the canon.

MasterJay123456789: I didn't really make their relationship that different from the actual light novel.

: Thanks, that's why I wanted to redo it and make it more detailed similar to what I did in The Magic Knight.

Sakiv: Thanks. I just thought that it is something that a lot of people have done and I had to add someone to him so that it was at least fair.

sdfv: Why not? There are a lot of people who have Asia with someone else and no one else talks about it. I just feel that Asia would go well with Kazuki due to their similarities. It's not like that is the only arc that is important for Issei and I already have an idea of what to do with the Juggernaut Drive.

Leaving their Normal Lives

Around the same time that Issei departed from Kazuki to meet up with his "date", Issei had arrived in a location in Kuoh Town where he promised to meet "Mi-chan". As Issei waited there, he ran into a strange female dressed in a red dress with black bat wings designed on it. Not wanting to throw it away, Issei just placed it inside his pocket while looking around to see if he saw his girlfriend.

"Ise-kun~ Did I keep you waiting?"

He heard a sultry voice calling his name and he recognized it without being confused.

Issei turned around and saw a young woman who looked to be a third-year high school student with blue hair, dark yellow eyes, and dressed in an eye-catching black one-piece which displays the top portion of her abundant breasts that he couldn't take his eyes off of, a pair of shoes that were easy to walk around in, and a purse. This is the girl that he met just a couple of days ago named―Mizuki Akagawa.

"H-Hey, how are you doing, Mi-chan," Issei said in a somewhat nervous manner. "Come on, don't screw this up!"

Hearing how nervous Issei became due to their date caused Mizuki to smile in a devious manner. Without much hesitation, Mizuki approached Issei hugging his arms into her breasts causing his arm to be almost overcome by an incredible sensation of softness; resulting in Issei's cheeks turning a bright red color.

"Now now, don't be nervous," Mizuki whispered in a sultry tone as she leaned forward near his ear. "You're dear senpai will be here to guide you if you need anything."

As soon as Mizuki whispered those words into his ear and the implications that it entailed caused small traces of blood to flow out from his nose. Noticing that caused the blue-haired girl to laugh in a somewhat nervous manner before hugging into his arm more suddenly, then started to drag him off into another direction.

"Now, come on. Why don't we head off to our date?"

"O-Okay, Mi-chan!"

Issei replied in a rushed manner.

Unbeknownst to Issei, Mizuki stared in another direction with an almost emotionless look on his face as he stared and noticed both Kazuki and Yuuma (Raynare) going in another direction not noticing their presence. Mizuki had narrowed her eyes in a manner that displayed an almost condescending nature.

"So, where should we go first, Ise-kun~?"

"Well, I think that we should go to―"

And just like that, both Issei and Mizuki spent their entire day going to different locations around Kuoh Town that he planned the day. The two of them went to a clothing store where Mizuki teased him by tempting him to dress up in front of him and gaining his opinion, then went to look at different items displayed in the windows of different stores along with stepping into a small store where Issei bought her a simple bracelet that went around her wrist.

For lunch, both of them went to a family-owned restaurant that other high school students had gone with their friends or dates. Mizuki ate a chocolate parfait in an almost teasing manner while glancing at Issei with a seductive look. Though during all that time, Issei wondered why he hadn't run into Kazuki and "Yuuma" through the entire day since he knew that they would be around town as well.

"We should have run into Kazuki and Yuuma at least once," Kazuki thought as he drank from his soda. "Oh well, we're probably too focused on our dates to look for one another."

Issei surmised as he smiled cheerfully.

Their date later progressed till the sunset, with both Issei and Mizuki found themselves at the park where a lot of children would end up playing after school. Mizuki still hugged onto Issei's arm humming a sound that he didn't at all recognize.

"This is the pinnacle of all dates, I've been thinking about pressing my lips against hers."

Issei thought in his hand as he silently tightened his hand.

That wide smile of his soon faded as he felt Mizuki letting go of his hand, who soon started to walk forward with both her hands linked to one another.

"Ise-kun, to commemorate our date. There is something that I want you to do for me."

Mizuki said as she twirled her blue hair using her single finger with her usual smile on her face, but even Issei can tell that there was something different about it.

"Sure thing, I don't mind," Issei said energetically as a perverted glint had started to form in his eyes. "This is the moment of truth."

Issei could feel his heart started to beat at a quicker pace, as Mizuki approached him moving her face forward in the direction of his face causing Issei to pucker his lips. Though she passed his face and instead placed her lips near his ear.

"Would you please die?"

Hearing that from her caused a sense of confusion to start to overcome him causing him to step back from her with his nervousness being displayed by his tone of voice.

"I-I'm sorry, I don't think that I heard you correctly."

Issei spoke in a confused tone causing Mizuki to laugh in a more creepy manner causing a dreading sensation to well up in his chest.

"Don't be meanie~ Not listening to your girlfriend," Mizuki said as a pair of black wings sprouted from her back. "I asked if you could die~"

"Ahhh! What the hell?!"

Issei shouted as he moved backward in a bit of fright as Mizuki flew into the air and landed on the top of a swing and sat down with her legs crossed. Hearing Issei screaming after seeing her wings caused her to sigh in a near hurtful manner though it would be obvious to anything that it was fake.

"Come on, Ise-kun~ Why're you being so mean to your girlfriend?"

Mizuki questioned as she held her hand out with the air starting to vibrate as a golden light started to appear in the palms of her hands forming into a double-headed spear.

"It just makes me want to kill you even more."

Hearing that from Mizuki accompanied by the sudden presence that she was emitting caused him to be almost overcome with a sense of terror. This became more apparent as Mizuki threw the light spear at Issei piercing him in his stomach without any kind of resistance along with him not having the reflex needed to dodge it. Issei spat up blood as he attempted to remove the light spear from his stomach, but it disappeared as if it didn't exist.

Due to the loss of large amounts of his blood, Issei started to lose his balance along with his vision starting to turn hazy and unfocused. Issei soon fell backward lying down with his back on the ground staring on the ground with shallow breathes escaping from his mouth. He heard wings flapping as feet touched the ground next to him, Issei was unable to see the figure clearly, he knew that it was Mizuki.

"Sorry~ About this, Ise-kun," Mizuki had stated not getting out of her persona, but there was the slightest hint of condescending. "But, our leader wanted to get rid of you before you became a threat to us. If you want to blame someone, then don't blame your adorable girlfriend~ Instead, you can blame God for giving you that sacred gear."

"Sacred Gear? What is she talking about"

Issei couldn't speak due to the injury, he could just think.

"I have to say that this day was fun, I'll treasure this little trinket forever."

Those were her final words before flying off into the skies flapping her wings without Issei hearing her footsteps.

"Dammit, if she were going to kill me, then she could have at least kissed me or at least let me touch her breast."

Issei thought as his consciousness started to fade in and out.

"I wonder what everyone at school is going to think. Are Matsuda and Motohama going to cry? Nah, I don't think so. That Kiryuu…she'll probably be laughing at the pathetic state that I'm in."

Issei couldn't feel any form of pain despite having a spear of light piercing through his stomach. His thought then started to move onto what his family would think.

"Now, that I think about it. I don't recall doing anything that'll please them as their childlike Kazuki did. If he were here he'd probably say that this was some kind of karma for spying on girls all the time. But, he would be the main one crying…hahahahaha, I remember, he was always such as crybaby. The only noteworthy thing that I've ever done was trying to protect him as an older brother. I can't really remember needing to do so anymore after we entered middle school at that time, he started entering clubs like Karate and Judo. I wonder if he'll get rid of my stash of porno magazines, I know that he knows where they're located. I wonder if twins really feel the same pain as the other one."

As those started to enter his head, Issei had placed his hand on his stomach and held it in front of himself with the red-colored that reminded him―no it was crimson red. The color reminded him of a certain third-year student at Kuoh Academy whose hair looked the same color.

"Why am I thinking about all of this," Issei said as if berating himself. "If I was going to die, then I wanted to do it in the arms and breast of Rias Gremory-senpai."

Issei felt his eyes darken with his hand lying on the ground almost motionless with the leaflet that he had in his pocket starting to let out a red-colored shine as if responding to his last desires. A magic circle formed near Issei and what came out of it was the silhouette after seeing him lying down on the ground.

"Looks like you are dying. Your wound...oh my, it does look like something interesting is happening to you. So it's you…. This truly is interesting."

Before he fell unconscious, Issei could hear the voice of the person that he wanted to see one last time.

"If you are dying, then I'll pick it up. Your life that is. From now, you will live for me."

[WAKE UP! WAKE UP! IF YOU DON'T WAKE UP I'M GOING TO K-KISS YOU….]

On the nightstand near Issei's bed, a digital clock went off with the image of a tsundere shown on the clock with her voice displaying the tone as one.

"Ummm…."

Issei found himself lying on the floor the next day as he opened his tired eyes, he immediately shot up placing his own on his stomach where he was wounded. He found himself dressed in his nightclothes, but he couldn't recall himself ever waking up this morning. He didn't have a wound and he found himself in his room, Issei then forced himself to recall what happened last night.

"W-What the hell?"

Wanting to get to the bottom of that, Issei went to his cellphone that he had hooked up to a charger and started to go through his contacts looking for "Mizuki Akagawa". Though all that Issei found were all the contacts that all were on his phone beforehand, but he couldn't find hers. Making another attempt, Issei started to dial her number since even if it wasn't on his phone, he could remember it from memory. Once he finished dialing the number, he placed his cellphone to his ear.

{We're sorry, the phone number that you are trying to reach is no longer in service.}

Issei widened his eyes after hearing that message, he could remember calling Mizuki using the same number, all of this started to almost driving him insane almost as if the wall around him were closing in.

"Issei are you up yet?"

Hearing his mother snapped him out of that causing him to respond.

"Yes, I'm up mum."

"Alright, then. Get prepared for school. Kazuki already left a while ago."

"…Okay."

He replied as he stood up from off the ground running his fingers through his hair as if attempting to regain his sanity and going through the events of yesterday, which now seemed almost like a dream. Though the sensation of having a light spear piercing his stomach remained as if to remind him that everything had happened. Without many options, Issei started to get dressed for the school like his mother asked him and headed off to school. As such it resulted in him needing to drag himself in the direction of school with his back being slumped over.

"Hah. What's wrong with me, it feels like all the strength in my body is leaving me."

Issei sighed out as he breathed almost tiredly.

He leaned his head forward lying it down on the ground with his eyes half-closed.

Issei continued to have his head laid on his desk until his perverted friends Motohama and Matsuda came into the classroom with an energetic look on their faces. All of them approached him with their usual perverted glints in their eyes, though this time, it was brighter than normal.

"Yo, Ise! We've got a surprise for you!"

Motohama called out in an energetic tone holding his hands behind his back as if to hide something.

Issei lifts his head with a tired look in his eyes, then directed his attention towards his two friends with both his friends taking note of his lack of vigor.

"Hey, what's wrong? You look half-dead."

"Hmm, I don't know why but I feel incredibly tired today."

Issei replied in a tone matching his tired expression, then a question started to come to mind.

"By the way, do you guys remember a girl named Mizuki Akagawa?"

"Huh? Who's that?"

"It that some new transfer student? We just got Yuuma-chan."

Motohama said as if having various images of "Yuuma" going through his mind, with Matsuda fixing his glasses in an almost erratic manner.

"She's has the perfect almost flawless slender figure. It's almost inhuman."

Issei listened as both his friends fantasized about their recent transfer student with him not concerning himself of their thoughts, but continued with his question.

"Mi-chan, my girlfriend?"

Issei answered yet at the same time question with both Motohama and Matsuda staring at their best friend for several seconds as if what he said was that shocking.

"…is this a joke?"

"A girlfriend? Seriously, Ise. You need to work on your jokes. I mean, no girl would even talk to us, the Perverted Trio in a million years."

Both Matsuda and Motohama gave their responses causing Issei to realize that neither of them had the slightest idea as to who he was talking about. That alone caused an unknown feeling too well up inside of him. Issei could distinctly recall the expressions and comments that he got from both of them after he had introduced Mizuki, but now neither of them could recall it.

"What're you three perverts talking about?"

A familiar voice came near the three of them. It was revealed to be Aika who was sitting on the desk next to them with Matsuda glancing towards him.

"That's rich coming from you, Aika!"

"Yea yea, whatever. So, what were you three talking about?"

"Apparently, our friend Ise here. Thinks that he has a girlfriend named 'Mi-chan'."

.

.

.

.

.

.

"Hahahahahahahaha!"

Aika started laughing out loud to the point where her hands were placed on her stomach catching the attention of everyone inside the room. Hearing this caused Issei to glare at her with an annoyed look. It continued for what seemed like several minutes with Aika almost falling off the desk with what looked like tears rolling down her face from the uncontrolled laughter.

"Hahahaha! Seriously?! You have a girlfriend?!"

Aika questioned as she pointed at Issei while continuing to laugh at him.

"Shut up! Aika!"

Issei shouted in annoyance as he stood up from his seat and slammed his hands on his desk after hearing all the uncontrolled laughter from his 'friend'. Despite Issei telling her to shut up, he continued laughing becoming far more annoyed as time passed. After a while, both Kazuki and Raynare had walked inside of the room watching as Aika continued laughing at Issei with Kazuki noticing him become more and more annoyed by the moment.

Keeping up with her "Yuuma" persona, Raynare started to approach Aika was a smile on her face.

"So~ what're you laughing about, Aika-chan?"

Raynare questioned in her "Yuuma" voice.

"Hahahaha! Y-Yuuma-chan, I know that you wouldn't understand. B-But, does it make sense to you that the most perverse male student in the whole school actually gets a girl to agree to go on a date with him?"

Aika questioned Raynare under all the laughter from her.

Despite the amount of time that the two of them had spent with one another, both Raynare and Aika felt as if the two of them would become friends with one another. And so, both of them referred to one another using "chan" in their names. Hearing that from Aika caused Raynare to laugh a bit.

"I did hear about the 'Perverted Trio' from the other girls in the locker room and about how they would peep in on girls changing in the locker room," Raynare replied after covering her mouth using her hand. "After hearing that I was a little worried about changing."

"As you should."

Aika added after calming down from laughing that much as Issei, which at least caused him some comfort, but an uncomfortable feeling had remained in him. It was something that Kazuki did notice and looked away more casually so that he wouldn't be questioned about it. However, Raynare had noticed it but continued to maintain her persona. Before either of them could say anything else, their teacher walked inside the room and instructed them to calm down and sit down for the lesson.

Everyone in the class focused on the lesson, unlike Issei whose mind of preoccupied with other thoughts, which had continued to run through his mind. Not that it was abnormal for him not to pay attention in classes most times, but there was a more legitimate reason for him after what happened on his date with his "girlfriend". Kazuki noticed all the distressed look on his brother's face and even he could barely pay attention to the lesson.

Both of them had their own issues that they needed to concern themselves about. Kazuki's mind wandered off to the short conversation that he had with Sona this morning before Issei arrived at school. It was unlike their usual talks and was instead a lot of serious than before.

{Kazuki-kun could you come to the Student Council Room after leaving the Kendo Club? …alone.}

It was short, but Kazuki did notice the suspicious look that was on her face after glancing towards Raynare who was standing next to him. Sona wasn't alone and had her vice president, Tsubaki Shinra standing next to her. He also had to concern himself with the item that he received from Raynare via Azazel. To fulfill the promise that Kazuki made to himself and his responsibilities as the Hakuryuukou, he had to do whatever it took for him to get stronger than he was now. If he didn't, then it would impossible for him to last long.

Soon after school had let out, Kazuki headed out to the Kenpō Club with Raynare who followed behind him to the entrance, but she stopped walking for a moment.

"I don't think that we should part ways for today, Kazuki-kun."

Raynare pointed out causing him to turn around and face her.

"Why? I don't think that our club adviser would mind you coming in and watching."

"I need to head back home and contact Lord Azazel about a couple of things. Besides, I was also told not to make contact with Rias Gremory and Sona Sitri unless I had no other choice but to do so. Also, I need to inform him of the arrival of "that" person who attacks Issei Hyoudou."

Raynare dropped her "Yuuma" persona and explained.

"What?! You know who attacked Nii-san?!"

Kazuki questioned not concerning himself about the other male Kendo club members who walked past them, but Raynare stopped for a moment waiting until the male club members walked past them.

"Based on the description that Issei gave out, I know that person. And if she and Gadreel are involved, then things for your brother may end up being mindfucked."

"Not a chance in hell," Kazuki replied in a far serious tone. "And you know you keep switching back and forth out your 'Yuuma' and 'Raynare' persona? Though I'm impressed, I don't know anyone who can change their tone of voice back and forth like that. It's like you're two different people."

"Thanks for the compliment, Kazuki-kun," Raynare said returning to 'Yuuma'. "I wonder if he'll laugh if I told him that I practiced this for months."

Raynare glanced to the side with a sideways smirk, then after saying their final goodbyes to Kazuki, she started to head back to her apartment.

After getting dressed for kendo club in their uniform, Kensei went inside of the club room. Inside it was built like a normal kendo dojo with the wooden floors being polished to where one could see their own reflections within this lit room. Hung on the wall as a shrine was an elegantly made katana with a silverish wrapping and darkish sheathe that would catch the attention of anyone who walked in.

Sitting on the floors in seiza posture were the male and female club members with their shinai by their sides, but none of them had their hands on their hilt. All of them sat down without making a single sound as if they were waiting for permission from their club adviser.

Standing before them with their hands behind their back was a man who still seemed to be in his prime despite it being shown to be in his fifties with gray slicked-back hair and a mustache; dressed like the male and female club members who he was advising. The elder seemed to be using the same shinai as them similar to a walking stick. His name is Kaito Murakami, the current club adviser of the Kendo Club. His stature and frame displayed one of incredible skill in Kenjutsu.

"All of you," Kaito spoke in a gruff tone befitting his stature. "Today, I shall hold a demonstration to teach you all a defensive skill guaranteed to counter the attacks from even an opponent much larger or stronger than you. And for this demonstration, I would like Kazuki to step forward and assist me."

"Yes, Kaito-sensei."

Kazuki replied standing up with his shinai resting in his hands, but Kaito waved his hand as if to say that it wasn't necessary. Following that unspoken order, he left it on the ground and noticed their instructor walking toward the bokken, two hiltless wooden swords placed in a separate rack. Without saying a single word, Kaito threw one of them in Kazuki's direction and he caught it in his hand.

"Using a shinai wouldn't do much in the demonstration. So, a bokken is a perfect choice."

Kaito explained as held his bokken in both his hands in a prepared stance, along with Kazuki who stood in front of his adviser in a similar stance.

"Now, class pay attention. Kazuki, I want you to make the first move as strong as you're able to."

Hearing that from their adviser, the class started to pay attention to both of them with keen eyes. Kazuki had taken note of the helpful warning that Kaito has told him, as a precaution, he informed all the athletic clubs that he had joined about his condition. After a certain event after deciding to better himself, Kazuki realized that he wouldn't be able to last long in an actual fight. That was when he learned to use the minimal amount of movements letting him maintain speed and fight in a somewhat normal manner.

"…."

Kazuki breathed in, then took a strong step forward bringing his sword downwards at Kaito who remained in the same spot.

Like Kazuki, Kaito breathed outward and cleared his mind as if it were a calm stream, he gently motions his bokken without the intention of using force. He looked forward at Kazuki as if reading every move that he had made; then as soon as their bokken made contact with one another, Kaito combined Kazuki's moves with his own and allowed his student to pass by him causing him to almost lose his footing.

"Ah, what was that?"

Kazuki let out a noise and question from his mouth as he regained his footing with his bokken behind held in his right hand. Even the class stared at Kazuki almost stumbling forward and despite them knowing of his condition, he was still the best member among the Kendo Club and was recognized by their instructor as such. Yet despite that, he was still treated almost like a child. Seeing that caused the other students to sigh from surprise.

"Did he just make Kazuki-kun stumble?"

"What kind of move was that?"

"That looks cool."

"I wouldn't expect anything less from Kaito-sensei."

Everyone had their own reactions about the move that Kaito had performed against Kazuki that had caused him to stumble forward. The pink and brown-haired young girls who spoke up first had shown their particular surprise about Kazuki being handled in such a manner.

"This is a defensive technique that I developed when I was around your all age named Ryūsuiken," Kaito replied to their questions. "At first, you clear your minds making it as calm as a stream. Second, perceive the motions of your opponent, then combine their movements with your opponent. And the most important state redirects the force of their attack so that it passes. For the next couple of days, I will be teaching you all the basics of the Ryūsuiken. Now, stand up!"

[Yes, Kaito-sensei!]

Everyone called out respectfully as they stood up in a readied position with their shinai in their hands in a similar position as Kazuki; the latter joined them in the same line as the others.

"Now, you all will be practicing the first step. And that will be clearing your minds of all thoughts."

[Yes, Kaito-sensei!]

Again everyone called out as they breathed outward with a lot of them closing their minds and begun attempting to clear their minds with some failing for different reasons. Kaito continued to watch over his students and giving out advice that would assist them in succeeding in this task. As Kazuki started doing the same thing with a hint of success in it, a familiar voice entered his head.

[…this is an interesting instructor.]

Albion spoke in his head, but in a manner where only Kazuki could hear him.

"Huh? That's interesting, I never thought that you of all people would acknowledge someone."

Kazuki replied in a surprised manner.

[I wouldn't do so if the person in question didn't have much to offer. I could tell that this person has experience as a swordsman.]

"Of course, he did say that he ran a successful dojo at some point in his lifetime."

[…yes, I guess that could be the case.]

Hearing Albion's response caused him to lose his thought process, but he maintained it and continued to practice.

For almost the entire time, the members of the Kendo Club continued their practice in the first step in utilizing the technique that Kaito had shown them. And a lot of the students got a hand with the first step if not the minimal that was required, but not to move onto the second step. After finishing the Kendo Club, as promised, he decided that he could head to the Student Council Room to meet up with Sona.

As soon as Kazuki made it to the entrance leading to the student council room, he knocked on the door a couple of times and waited for a response. It didn't take long for the door to open revealing a young woman who looked to the same age as Sona, but a little taller than Sona with long straight black hair and wearing the female school uniform; a unique feature was her heterochromatic eyes: her right eye being violet and left eye being light brown.

It was Tsubaki Shinra, a third-year student and fourth most popular girl in school, but Kazuki knew her as being a queen. After looking at him, Tsubaki respectfully bowed her head.

"Hello, Kazuki-san."

"Hello, Tsubaki-senpai."

Tsubaki and Kazuki exchanged their greetings showing their level of familiarity with one another.

After greeting one another, Tsubaki let Kazuki enter the Student Council Room where he noticed that all of the members were there; who were all females. And like Tsubaki, all of them were members of Sona's peerage and all were working on their own business with some of them taking slight glances from their work. Kazuki knew that, unlike their King and Queen, the rest of them were a little bit more energetic and cheerful. A lot of them were also interested in the relationship between Kazuki and their King.

"Ah, Kazuki-kun. I'm glad that you could…."

Sona said in a more honest tone but stopped after noticing that Kazuki was carrying around the bokken he had in the Kendo Club and mentioned it.

"Why're you carrying that around. Do you think that any of us would do anything?"

"Nah, this isn't for you guys. I thought that if I at least had this, then I could at least defend myself," Kazuki replied as he pointed at it. "Not that it could do much against the light weapons against a fallen angel until I imbued with magic, then it could last in a fight."

Sona couldn't help but smile about how Kazuki had started to get used to the supernatural, but this was just the first step for him. And as a high-class devil born into this world, Sona knew what danger would be in front of him, which is even greater due to him being the host of a dragon.

"In the past, whether it was the Sekiryuutei or Hakuryuukou, the hosts of the Heavenly Dragons were never able to live peaceful lives. All of them were filled with enemies or people who desired their power for their own benefit. It was most true when they fought by themselves and became consumed by their own power in the end and turn into monsters."

Sona was in deep thought after thinking about the situation that Kazuki would get caught in as the Hakuryuukou and the possible result. As thoughts about that continued to enter her mind, Kazuki glanced at her wondering about why she looked serious…well more so than usual.

"Are you alright, Sona-senpai?"

Hearing Kazuki asks caused Sona to look up and stare at the current confused look on his face and that had caused her to smile a bit.

"I'm fine, Kazuki-kun," Sona said with a smile. "There's no way that Kazuki-kun would become consumed by his own power and turn into a monster. How could that thought ever enter my mind?"

"So, what did you want to talk about?"

"Well, since you have unlocked your Divine Dividing, it'll make you a target for people. And it will be important for you to defend yourself, which is why you need to be able to realize your potential in being capable of using magic."

Sona said something to him that will be weird if anyone "normal" were to hear it, but for Kazuki who had his initial encounter with the supernatural as a first-year student at Kuoh Academy. He first learned about both his magical potential and Longinus from the Governor-General of the Fallen Angels and his "colleague" who was with him at the time. Though at first, Kazuki wouldn't say that he wasn't interested in it but that would eventually result in his parents and brother getting involved. In the end, he chose of remaining "normal", however, even now Kazuki could remember that Azazel's "colleague" was amused by his decision.

Though Kazuki had no choice, to learn all he could about magic and Divine Dividing. After seeing the look on his face, Sona smiled a bit and stood up from behind her desk, and started to approach Kazuki who remained in the same spot as before.

"Okay, then first, it would be best that you get a handle about how to channel your magic power and to determine the amount that you have at the moment. As I'm sure that you know that using magic and spells requires magical power so knowing the amount that you have is a must."

"How do we figure that out?"

Shine!

After Kazuki questioned that, a blue magic circle had appeared under him and he recognized it was the magic circle of the Sitri Clan, of which Sona was the heiress.

"I'm sure that you recall that after the servants of high-class devils finish delivering leaflets, then they can do official requests via magic circles, but they are only able to use it with a certain amount of demonic power. If a servant doesn't have much demonic power, then they won't be able to use it."

"Has there ever been a case where a devil reincarnated or otherwise was unable to use it?"

"No, I haven't heard of that ever happening. Even children can use these magic circles whether they are low-class or middle-class ones."

Sona replied in a manner that Kazuki couldn't doubt at all.

"Though it is different from the ones that high-class devils would use for their servants, it has similar mechanics to that and it can measure one's magical capacity. Using this, it should be possible to determine your level of magic power, but it'll be a little difficult since you aren't a servant from my household, so you'll need to remain still so that I can get a proper response."

"Okay, then I'll leave it to you."

"I'm glad to hear that. Now, I need you to close your eyes and concentrate."

Kazuki nodded his head in agreement and closed his eyes.

As soon as that happened, the magic circle below him had shined with a bright blue light with the symbol of the Sitri Clan forming on the back of her hand. On the sidelines, a beautiful girl the same age as Kazuki with reddish-brown hair and a cheerful look on her face had glanced at what Sona was doing. She was Sona's Knight named Tomoe Meguri.

"I didn't think that Kaichou would take this much of an interest in someone. Ah, you don't think that the rumors of the both of them are true?"

"Ah, I don't think that Kaichou would do the things that everyone is suggesting, Tomoe-chan."

Replying to her question in a soft tone was another second-year female with a slim figure and long brown hair with two braids. She was Sona's Bishop named Reya Kusaka.

"It would be interesting to see Kaichou have a boyfriend."

Saying that aloud was a beautiful second-year female with white hair and blue-green eyes. Sona's other Bishop, a girl named Momo Hanakai.

"Hmm, is Reya-senpai interested in Kazuki-senpai?"

A short first-year girl with brown hair tied in twin ponytails with a pair of green hair clips and green eyes, including long stockings with green strikes. At the moment, she is Sona's only Pawn named Ruruko Nimura. After hearing that question from her underclassmen, Reya had waved her hands in front of her in what seemed like a panic.

"N-No, of course not. I mean though, Kazuki-san looks much like his older brother, he does have that kind of soft and kind expression that a girl could fall in love with. But, I sorta…."

Reya said that last part in a nervous manner.

"That's because you like Kiba-kun~"

Standing next to her was a fairly tall second-year female student with blue short length hair and matching eyes, but it was well-known that she had tomboyish features with a face that most girls resemble a bishounen. She was at the moment Sona's only Rook named Tsubasa Yura. And despite being a bit more boyish, Tsubasa had said that last past in a teasing manner. After hearing that Reya had panic with her face turning a little red.

"Uh~ I-I-I don't have a crush on Kiba-kyu…I mean Kiba-kun."

"Oh, did I almost hear you calling him Kiba-kyun?"

Tsubasa continued to tease Reya whose face started to turn red from the embarrassment.

"All of you be silent, you'll break Kaichou's concentration in assisting Kazuki-san."

[Ahh!]

The four of them screamed after hearing that cold tone from Tsubaki, which could rival that of even their King.

"…oh."

Sona let out a surprised breath as a bluish-white magic aura started to radiate from Kazuki's body causing all the people in the room to be shocked. She noticed that the magic power that came from him was stronger than she was expecting it to be. Kazuki himself noted the aura that had seeped out from within him and noted that it wasn't the dragon power from Albion, but his own magic power.

"The current amount of his magic power is more than I was expecting. What surprises me more is his potential in magic…it is either rival or surpasses your typical High-Class Devil," Sona wondered as she continued to stare at the magic power that radiated from him. An intellect that matched her own. Divine Dividing, a Longinus that could kill a god and contains a legendary dragon. And the magic potential that rivals a pure High-Class Devil. "I wish that he wasn't an avid believer of the Church, I would have used one of my pieces to reincarnate him. Not that I could at the moment with Albion sealed within him and his own potential. To reincarnate Kazuki-kun, it will require two knight or bishop pieces or all eight pawn pieces…however, I had already used one of each. *Sigh* If only I had met him a long time ago. He would have made an excellent devil, but that doesn't mean that he won't leave a permanent mark in history."

Sona had belief in the potential that Kazuki had and even if he wasn't a part of her peerage, she was also looking forward to what he would do in the future. She soon stopped the magic circle causing the blue light from it to fade away into nothing.

"You can now open your eyes Kazuki-kun."

After hearing that from Sona, Kazuki did open his eyes and started at the bluish-white aura that was covering him with a surprised look.

"This is magic power, I didn't realize that it would be like this."

"The moment that you realize and accept that magic power flows within you, then it tends to flow out like this, but you should focus on your control of it. Though since it was induced using someone the magic circle it'll soon fade away in a moment"

Sona surmised as she stared at the aura that radiated from him, which started to fade away back into himself. As the bluish-white aura faded, despite him being unable to see it anymore, Kazuki could still vaguely feel it inside of himself.

"I can still feel it despite not being able to see it."

"It'll require your magic power to use different spells, but with enough practice, you'll be able to control it to a level where you could summon it at will."

Sona explained, but soon glanced in the direction of the clock inside of the room and directed her eyes towards Kazuki.

"It's getting kind of late. So, you should head home. Do you want someone to walk you home?"

"No, I'll just fly back home using Divine Dividing. I don't have much experience in using them, so I'll just leave the flying around to Albion. Besides, I just received something that I would want to read on the way home."

"Are you sure?"

Sona questioned worriedly about the chances that he might end up getting attacked along the way.

"You don't have to worry, I think most of them would think that I would walk some other way. Besides, I doubt any of them would be able to keep up with the light wings of Divine Dividing. If anything happens, I'll just fly away as fast as possible."

Sona had listened to what he had said and it wasn't like either of them could keep up with him considering the difference between their wings and his light wings.

"Alright. But, contact me as soon as you return home."

"Okay."

Kazuki said as he nodded his head in agreement.

After saying his final goodbyes to the people inside the Student Council Room, he walked through the exit of the room. As soon as he left the room, Tomoe had started to chuckle in a cheerful manner causing the people inside of the room to glance in her direction.

"What's funny Tomoe?"

Sona questioned raising her eyebrow a bit.

"I'm just surprised about how much the relationship between Kaichou and Kazuki-kun."

"We're just friends and just so happen to converse with one another on more of an intellectual level."

"Enough to exchange contact information? Oh, I believe that the two of you would look cute together. I've never seen you talk with someone like that aside from Rias-senpai from time to time."

Tomoe continued to show her support for their "relationship" causing their King to stare at her Knight with a blank look. Sona listened on with her eyes twitching as Tomoe continued spouting more and more about both her and Kazuki, all of which moving her body around from left to right.

"Tomoe. Continue and I shall have you clean all the windows in Kuoh Academy."

Hearing the cold response from Sona caused Tomoe to stop and stood in at attention almost like a soldier letting not a single noise leave her mouth. Afterward, the Student Council continued with their usual duties, both as students and as devils attending school.

Meanwhile, Issei had joined his two friends in their usual activities involving the pornographic DVD that one of his friends had mentioned during their lunch period. After finishing, Issei began heading back home where he noticed an immediate difference between the daytime and nighttime.

"Yahoo! I feel as light as a feather!"

Issei felt power brimming within him at night as his senses and physical abilities were heightened well above their usual level. He was running down the street at a speed that made look as if he were a member of the Track Team and as soon as he jumped into the air, it was at a height that he was unable to do before. Issei was able to see at night as if it were daytime and hear conversations from other people even inside of their houses. After a couple of minutes, it was like he forgot about where he was going at some point and just continued to run.

"I could beat even Kazuki in a race without even trying! Not that he could run that fast anyway."

As Issei ran forward, his eyes widened as a chilling feeling had started to overcome him in an instant causing him to stop running, but despite not knowing what this feeling was, his instincts told him to turn around.

Doing that just, Issei turned around and noticed someone walking in his direction. Despite being wrapped inside the darkness of the night, he could tell that it was a middle-aged man with short black hair and dark blue eyes; he was dressed in a suit with a fedora as he glared at Issei with fierce eyes. The moment that Issei looked into the man's eyes, a feeling that he could only describe as being killing intent had overcome him.

"This is rare. To meet someone like you in a place like this."

Those were the first words that the man said as he stared at Issei with loathing eyes.

Issei didn't know why, but he had to get away from this man. Without hesitation, he turned around and started to run in the opposite direction of the man. He was sprinting at a speed that was faster than it was prior, it must be due to the level of fear that he was feeling at this moment. After a while, Issei had stopped running and he found himself to be at a familiar location that caused an ominous feeling to well up within himself. It was the same park that he and Mizuki had gone to at the end of their date. It was the same place that he had died.

Seeing this place against caused a feeling of depression that started to overcome him as he began reliving the evens of that date as if it were a recording stuck on repeat. Soon enough, black feathers started to flutter in front of him reminding him of the same wings that Mizuki had unfolded from her back.

"Did you think I'd let you escape? That's why lowly beings are a pain to handle."

Hearing that person's voice caused him to turn around and noticed that his wings were the same as hers, which he used to fly in mid-air staring at Issei with a patronizing look. The wings looked as if belonged to a crow.

"Tell me the name of your Master. It"s a hindrance to be bothered by your kind," the mysterious man mumbled in an annoyed manner. "For that, we will…. Wait, are you a Stray? If you have no Master, then that will explain the worried expression on your face."

The mysterious man in front of him was a fallen angel. Not that Issei would know of that.

Issei didn't know what the man was talking about and was afraid for his life, which was the reason why he was afraid. The man ignored his questioning look without not even attempt to realize the reasons that Issei wouldn't at all speak to him or move an inch.

"Hmph. I don't feel any presence of your Master nor your comrades. Neither do I not see anything that is trying to hide its presence either. Also, there's no magic circle appearing here. According to the current situation, you are a Stray. So it won't be a problem if I kill you."

As if making his decision, the man held his hand out with a familiar sight appearing before Issei. Particles of light accompanied by the noise that they made gathered in his hand and appearing in his hand was a light spear. It is the same phenomena that Mizuki had done during their date and the same thing had occurred again. Before he was able to react, the light spear had been launched into his stomach causing blood to escape from his mouth. Not wanting to die, Issei reached his hand out to remove it, but as soon as his hand made contact with it, the light spear had shined and burned his hand as if it rejected him.

"Guu…aaaah…."

Issei screamed as he felt as if his hand had touched a hot stove and tears started to drip from his face. Due to the level of pain that he was feeling at the moment. Issei recalled the same sensation that he had during the time he was attacked by Mizuki. Compared to last time, he wasn't killed, but the pain that he was feeling at this time is a lot worse than what happened before.

"It must hurt. Light is poisonous to filthy beings like you. Getting hit by it will result in fatal damage. I thought that this weakened spear would be enough to kill you, but your body is a lot tougher than I thought. So, I will hit you with it again. But this time, I will put a bit more strength into it. Now you are done for."

Issei went through the same event again, him dying with the same method again. It was the same as before, as a crimson warm liquid flowed in front of him. If it was indeed similar to his dream, then he wanted to see the same person whose voice he heard that time before. At the same time that the man had approached him after creating another light spear in his hand that looked stronger than the last one and raised it into the air.

A fast-moving black mass had been aimed in the direction of the light spear in his hand, resulting in an explosion that forced him backward.

"Ugh!"

The man let out a pained tone as he stared at his hand revealing injuries that caused blood to flow from his hand and destroying the sleeve of his suit to be torn to shreds.

"Don't you dare touch him?"

A cold-sounding voice could be heard next to Issei, but he was unable to tell who it was due to his blurred vision due to the pain and blood loss. However, Issei knew who it was based on their voice, which was something that he was unable to forget wavering into unconsciousness.

"…Crimson hair…. You must be a woman from the House of Gremory…."

The mysterious man spoke out loud as he gripped his arm with a pained look.

It was indeed Rias Gremory whose crimson hair seemed to shine due to the light from the moon as she dangerously smirked at the fallen angel.

"My name is Rias Gremory. How are you doing, Fallen Angel? If you are trying to hurt this boy, then I won't hold back."

Rias threatened as a red aura started to cover her entire body causing the fallen angel to realize the difference that was between both of them.

"Well, well, so this boy belongs to you. This town must also be your territory," he said in an 'apologetic' manner, but Rias and Akeno noticed the aura radiating from him. "Well then, my apologies for today. But I advise you not to let your servant loose. People like me might slay him while having a walk."

"Thanks for the advice. Since this town is under my surveillance, if you get in my way, then I won't hold back."

"I'll say the same to you, heiress of the House of Gremory. My name is Dohnaseek. I hope we won't meet again."

Those were the last words from the fallen angel now named Dohnaseek before flying away using his fallen angel wings vanishing from sight in a matter of seconds. That was his breaking point for Issei before faltering.

"Are you about to faint? This is certainly a fatal wound. It can't be helped. Hey, where is your house?"

Issei could hear Rias questioning him, but he couldn't give her an answer as he lost consciousness.

Elsewhere, Kazuki was flying in the skies using Divine Dividing, but as he told Sona, he left the flying to Albion as he was preoccupied with other matters. In his hands was a leather-bound journal filled with different words and several symbols that he hadn't seen before. This was the thing that he received from Raynare, which Azazel had asked her to give to him. She told him that Azazel was busy with other matters at the moment so he wouldn't be able to tell him all this in person.

"Hmm, I'm surprised that Azazel took the time to prepare this," Kazuki said as he went through the pages. "There are a lot of notes about different physical training regimens to build up strength and stamina. But there are even a lot more that has different kinds of magic and spells in it that would be easy for me to learn, there are even a lot of helpful notes that break it down so that I can learn to use them. I think that this magic is a kind of reinforcement one that boots a person's physical abilities."

[Hmm, it sounds like Azazel to do something like this. I recall several past possessors meeting with from him time to time for advice about Divine Dividing. The reinforcement spells could be just the thing that you're looking for in being able to survive a battle against at least a low-rank fallen angel.]

"Yea, next time I met that guy again. I'm going to show him what I can…."

BEEP BEEP

He could hear his phone starting to ring causing him to stop flying and fished out his phone using his free hand. It was his brother's phone number.

"Nii-san, what happened?"

After answering his phone, Kazuki noticed that the person on the other end of the line wasn't his brother like he had thought. It was Rias.

[This isn't your brother.]

"Rias-senpai? Did something happen?"

Kazuki questioned as he headed towards the ground after noticing that he was nearing his home and he made his light wings vanish.

[Yes. Your brother was attacked again. By another fallen angel.]

"What?! Again?!"

After noticing a dog in the distance barking due to the noise, he quieted himself down not wanting to make noise anymore.

"Seriously, he was attacked again by a fallen angel. I thought that they wouldn't attack him again after he joined your group. Rias-senpai."

[I don't think that this fallen angel has much knowledge as the woman who attacked him before. Since this fallen angel who calls himself Dohnaseek didn't know who he was and thought that your brother was a fallen angel. He is still alive, but I need to know where you both live so I can tend to his injuries.]

"Sure, I'll tell you the address. It's…."

As Kazuki was telling him the address, a couple of people who looked to be dressed in what seemed like priest's robes had appeared from the shadows. Kazuki hadn't noticed their presence as all of them inched in his direction without making a single noise or letting their presence be known to him. A lot of them reached into the pockets of their robes pulling out odd objects that seemed to form light blades. However, before either of them could make a single move, the space around them shift, and all of them were overcome by an indescribable sensation before vanishing their sight making a slight sound that caught the attention of Albion.

[….Hmm.]

Kazuki could hear Albion make a sudden noise after he finished talking with Rias.

"What's wrong, Albion?"

[…I thought that I sensed someone's presence, but it must have been my imagination. Though, there are a lot of people in this town who aren't human.]

"Yea, let's get in the house and figure out what to do now. I had told Rias-senpai our address so she can teleport inside without waking up my parents."

Kazuki replied as he began walking in the direction of his house, all while not noticing what had occurred behind him nor noticing the presence of the person who was watching him. Further away from him, the figure of a young woman appeared on a nearby roof as if she had faded into existence. The unknown young woman directed her eyes towards Kazuki who was heading inside of the house, then smiled in an almost sultry manner.

"Sorry, but our leader has his eyes set on this on~," she said playfully as she swung her legs back and forth. "That, of course, includes me as well~"

A/N: And there goes chapter two of The Twin Dragons, this chapter showed the effects that Issei had after his date with "Mizuki Akagawa" with him wondering if he were losing his mind.
