Pawnofriasgremory: There will be some slight similarities since they are well twins, but I don't want there to be that many things copied from them like their powers. Those were scenes that I was trying to make hilarious, I thought that the Samurai documentary was a nice touch.

Guest: I'll ensure that their interactions will be enjoyable. And Asia's pouting will always be adorable.

Streetlife34: No, I wanted to do something else. That was my intention since the two of them would end up being together.

Guest 2: Though that does sound like a great and hilarious idea, I don't think that I would be able to make a story like that.

Guest 3: I apologize if that causes any discomfort for everyone, I thought that this would be easier.

Guest 4: That does sound like an interesting and amazing idea.

New Life New Troubles

"Damn it! For Ise to get married!"

"It's some kind of mistake! This is some kind of conspiracy!"

Issei found himself in an odd situation, he stood in front of what seemed to be a cathedral (which was odd since he was reincarnated into a devil). All around him were various people, most of which were from his school, but a lot of them he could recognize like his friends Matsuda and Matsuda who were cursing him as tears streamed down their eyes.

"Huh? I'm getting married? What're those guys talking…about?!"

Issei looked down realizing that he was dressed in a suit, which appeared to be for a wedding as he was told. But he couldn't comprehend what was occurring as he looked around realizing that his friends/fellow servants among the Occult Research Club were there as well in proper clothing. Though the most notable were his parents who had bigger tears rolling down their faces.

"Ise! I want my first grandchild to be a girl!"

"Sob, you have grown! You were a worthless child whose only pride was his desire to have sex!"

His mother said in a joyful tone alongside his father who was rubbing his eyes using his sleeves, which wasn't all that odd considering who his parents were in these situations. Standing next to them clapping their hands with a smile on his face was Kazuki joined with Asia who was dressed in a proper dress.

"I'm happy for you Nii-san. I hope that you can live a normal life with your bride."

"I feel the same way, Kazuki-san!"

Kazuki gave an honest response as Asia held onto his arm wiping away her tears using a cloth.

Issei still couldn't comprehend what they were saying about his supposed "bride", but he soon gained an answer as a familiar voice reached his ears.

"Ise, you can't look around restlessly."

Issei turned around facing his bride, which was the beautiful crimson-haired princess and king who reincarnated him into a devil in the first place. Rias Gremory is the most popular female student at Kuoh Academy and one of their two great ladies.

"Rias-sama! You look so beautiful!"

"Aaah, Rias-oneesama! Why on earth are you marrying a guy like that!?"

Issei wasn't receiving praise and instead criticisms from the males and females who were among Rias' fan base, however, as the thoughts of marriage entered his mind various lecherous thoughts entered his mind.

"Wait, if we're getting married, then wouldn't that mean that we'll be doing what married couples do during their wedding night," Issei smiled as the fantasies started entering his head before glancing toward Kazuki. "Hahaha, it looks like I'll be the one who'll have his first time, Kazuki! So, suck it!"

As Issei continued to laugh, he felt a sudden force on his back from behind, which caused him to fall forward and land face-first on the ground. As soon as he started standing back to his feet, he realized that the scenery all around him had turned pitch black.

"Ah, what happened?!"

"I heard you telling me to suck it."

Issei turned around noticing that Kazuki stood behind him with crossed arms and an annoyed look on his face.

"Huh, why'd you ruin my dream?!"

"You're the one who started it," Kazuki replied as he uncrossed his arms and looked around. "I don't even know why I'm here in your dreams."

"Ah, so you can interrupt my dreams about the wonderful nature of oppai."

"I could care less about your perverted fantasies."

"This coming from the guy who's obsessed with…."

"Zip it!"

Kazuki glared at him with the slightest hint of an embarrassed look on his face, which caused Issei to smirk as if he were victorious in their argument.

[Looks like you're having fun, shitty brat.]

A sudden mysterious voice reached his ears as he glanced around to locate the source, though for some reason it seemed almost familiar to him.

[That's right. I'm right beside you.]

As if sensing his thoughts, the mysterious voice replied in a joking manner as Issei still turned himself around in an attempt to locate the voice even turning toward Kazuki who looked a little serious.

"Kazuki, do you know whose voice is that?"

In response to his question, Kazuki casually pointed behind him, which caused the voice to once again respond, but this time laughing.

[It's mine.]

Issei became startled as he turned around after noticing that the voice was this time coming from behind him and he turned to face this person. As soon as he did, however, his eyes widened in shock as he realized that an enormous red-colored eye was peering at him. This individual had jaws that came up to its eyes, where big fangs were growing out; thick red horns that lined up to its forehead, and red scales that seemed like magma. There were no doubts about the nature of this creature with thick arms and legs that resembled a giant tree, claws that seemed sharp, and pairs of wings that spread outwards making it seem even bigger. In front of him was a red dragon.

"I can't blame him. I had a similar reaction after seeing Albion for the first time."

Kazuki thought as he glanced to the side.

[That's it. That's the right deduction. I've been trying to talk to you for the whole time. But, since you were weak, my words didn't reach you until now. Finally. Finally, I can appear in front of you.]

The red dragon continued to speak as Issei glanced at the enormous dragon standing in front of him with his mouth agape.

"Huh? What're you talking about? Are you trying to eat me?"

[Eat? Eat you who seem to taste awful? As if I would. That's not it. I just wanted to introduce myself to my partner who I will be fighting along with from now on.]

"Who are you?"

[You already realized it, haven't you? You probably thought about it. Yeah, that's right. I'm exactly what you think I am. Let's talk again. Aye, partner.]

As soon as those words left the mouth of the red dragon, red scales started to cover his left arm as nails that were as sharp as knives appeared.

"Ah."

[Well, I never thought that I would see you here like this. Red One.]

Appearing behind Kazuki was an enormous white dragon if not the same build as the red dragon that had stood behind Issei but with a beautiful white body. Differing from the red eyes of the red dragon, the white dragon had blue eyes and gold horns lined on his forehead.

[Ah, same here. For the hosts of us, the Heavenly Dragons to be twin brothers. It seems as if this era will end up being an interesting one.]

[I feel as if our match in this era will be a marvelous one.]

Both the Red and White Dragons continued to converse with one another as a laugh started to escape from their mouths, while Issei and Kazuki stood in front of him as if to act like their physical incarnations. And it didn't take all that long for Issei to realize who both those dragons were.

"Kazuki mentioned Albion a moment ago who resides in hid Divine Dividing, then that would mean this dragon is the one who resides in my Boosted Gear? …Ddraig?"

However, that question went unanswered as the dream ended and both brothers woke up inside of their respective rooms. Neither of them was sure about how they were able to visit one another's dreams like that and have such a weird conversation with the dragons who reside in their sacred gears. However, those thoughts couldn't be answered anymore as there were some things that the two brothers needed to do that morning.

"Well, I believe that things have quieted down compared to last month."

Raynare said as she stared at her cell phone going through what Kazuki believed was information from Grigori, it wouldn't be surprising if that's what she was doing. She even dropped her 'Yuuma mannerism' speaking to in her normal tone. Meanwhile, Kazuki was doing pull-ups on a tree branch dressed in a tracksuit he bought for training purposes a while ago.

The location that both of them were in was near the abandoned church, which made it the perfect location to train since no one was using it anymore and it was quiet. Kazuki had already spent almost an hour there doing a bunch of different training exercises similar to what he had done before, but this time he wasn't having the same level of issues doing them as in the past.

"Yeah, there haven't been power-hungry fallen angels trying to kill us," Kazuki said as he pulled himself up before he realized how it might sound saying that around a fallen angle. "…50…51…no offense."

"None took," Raynare didn't sound insulted about it. "You aren't too far off from that statement, they were power-hungry compared to most fallen angels and even some humans who follow Lord Azazel."

"60…61…62…63…. Speaking of which, has Azazel said anything about the incident? I thought that he'd at least want to contact me and explain what happened himself."

"Well, Lord Azazel has found out about an interesting concept in a certain item that he has been working on for a long time," Kazuki realized that she sounded a little nervous at first. "So, he's been putting his focus on that while trusting that I'd be able to clean up things around here."

"…71…72…73…. Sounds like he's just pushing the job on someone else."

"Again, you're not exactly wrong."

Raynare laughed as she continued to stare at her phone, while Kazuki finished the one-hundred pull-ups that he sought to complete first. After letting a slight breath escape from his mouth before letting go of the tree branch he was holding onto, but moments before hitting the ground, he materialized Divine Dividing and allowed himself to land on the ground without a terrible impact on his legs. Having landed on the ground, he started stretching all his arm muscles after doing those pull-ups.

Kazuki started doing basic training after the incident at the abandoned church, but it wasn't just him doing these kinds of exercises. Much like him, his older brother who had become a devil was doing the same kind of exorcises after noticing how weaker he was compared to those fallen angels. For extra motivation for him in the form of their crimson-haired upperclassmen who would supervise him.

However as Kazuki started to stretch his arms, he noticed that there was a normal difference between them, Issei, being a reincarnated devil had a greater chance of increasing his strength through training compared to that of a normal human. This was especially true since he was born much frailer compared to him.

"Though the medicine that Sona-senpai had given me is helping with my condition and I can do a lot more when compared to when I would pass out after training for this long," he had said as he creaked his neck. "I have been thinking about how I can become stronger over the past month. And aside from getting a much better handle on using Divine Dividing and magic training, I can't think of anything physical-wise."

[I believe that you are doing all that you can to increase your base strength and from what I can tell despite your older brother being a devil, you have some traits that are better than him outside of just physical abilities. There were a lot of past possessors who used Divine Dividing in different manners. And there are methods that you can use if it is just to increase your strength. Two, in particular, that could prove beneficial.]

Kazuki heard the explanation from Albion who spoke inside of his head so that Raynare couldn't hear him.

"What are they?"

[The easiest would be a sacrifice.]

"What kind of sacrifice?"

He was confused about what Albion meant by a 'sacrifice' since whenever he heard that phrase, it meant trouble.

[Not in that manner that you're thinking about. If you were to sacrifice a part of yourself to me, then that part would become that of a dragon.]

"So, you saying that if I were to sacrifice my eye or arm then it would turn into that of a dragon."

Kazuki thought about that and realized that sacrificing a part of himself meant that he wouldn't be able to get that part back. But, thinking about the benefits meant that his eyes and arms would have the strength of a dragon.

[The second if achieving balance breaker itself, but achieving an incomplete balance breaker would be possible if you sacrificed a part of yourself. However, if you did that then your chance to achieve the actual state would be lessened each time. Achieving a perfect balance breaker would stabilize the power that you yield and could even enhance the strength that you have now.]

After hearing the explanation from Albion, Kazuki started thinking about them seriously since it might become an important piece of information.

"Sacrifice a part of myself to gain more strength and achieve a perfect balance breaker. I don't think that I'll be able to achieve something like a balance breaker after just a month of using it. I guess that the sacrifice thing will be in case of an emergency, but what would I possibly sacrifice? …Why do I feel eyes on me?"

He questioned before looking down noticing that Raynare was still working from her phone meaning that she wasn't the person staring at him. She soon placed her cell phone back in her pocket and glanced toward Kazuki.

"She should be arriving here in a minute, Kazuki-kun."

"…huh. Wait, are you talking about…?"

"Kazuki-san, Raynare-san! I'm sorry for being late…hauu!"

Just as Kazuki was thinking about the only person that Raynare could be referred to, both heard the voice of one blonde-haired nun dressed in a similar tracksuit as Kazuki. Once she arrived, however, she landed face-first onto the ground, which caused Raynare to laugh wryly thinking that she had tripped on a tree root at least. Kazuki had approached Asia who had landed on the ground with what seemed to be a thermos.

"Are you alright, Asia-san?"

"Ouch, yes."

After being helped back to her feet, but then panicked and picked up the thermos, pushing it toward Kazuki with flushed cheeks.

"Here I made this for you."

"Huh. Ah, thank you. I forgot to bring something to drink."

"T-Then here, let me pour it for you."

Asia opened the thermos, got out one of the cups inside of it poured him some of the tea inside it then handed it to him. Kazuki took it in his hands with a warm smile on his face after realizing the amount of effort that she must have put into making it. After taking a long sip, Asia stared at him as if waiting for his opinion about it and grasped the thermos in her hand tighter.

"This is delicious."

Kazuki said as he smiled at her, which caused the expression on her face to brighten all the more.

"I'm happy to hear that!"

Asia proclaimed in a tone to match her bright expression and smile.

For over a month, she had started to acclimate more to both her newest living situation and school, even attracting a lot of attention more so among girls, while attracting the attention of the male. However the latter made him feel a little complicated knowing how most of the male students were, which included the best friends of Issei who started to leer toward Asia after she first arrived. There was also Aika who he felt was trying to "teach" Asia things, which is a nice way of saying that she was trying to corrupt Asia.

But, it made him feel happy to see her enjoying her new life especially after he did as promised after taking her to various museums that were around town on their days off. After seeing their interaction, Raynare smiled then she approached them with a sly smile on her face.

"Well, I think that it would be best if we headed toward your house."

"Huh?"

Kazuki questioned, which caused Asia who stood beside him to poke her fingers together shyly.

"Well, I just finished talking with the guys who were finished moving Asia-san's belongings to your house."

"My house?"

"I'll explain when we get there."

Raynare started to walk off without saying anything else, while Asia followed behind her as if in an attempt not to look Kazuki in the eye. He just sighed shrugged his shoulders and walked behind them without saying a single word about the subject.

It took them a couple of minutes to arrive in front of the Hyoudou Residence and the first thing that Kazuki noticed was the sealed boxes in front of his house. And it didn't take him long to realize that all of these belonged to Asia, but it didn't take him long to guess why these were there.

"I don't remember Asia-san having this many belongings."

Kazuki pointed out after recalling that Asia didn't have that many belongings after meeting her for the first time.

"Well, that would be because of me. I thought that Asia-san would need more things than what she had with her at the church, so I've been purchasing more things for her."

"Raynare-san has been taking me out most times on the weekends and bought me a lot of clothes to…ah."

"To what?"

Asia didn't give a response to his question as her cheeks were flushed, but she didn't turn to face his direction.

"Well, Kazuki-kun why don't you bring all these boxes inside of the house?"

"Wait, what?"

"Ah, I forgot. Asia-san will be moving into your home."

Raynare pointed out without a shred of hesitance and even a modest smile on her face.

—Family Meeting

Among all the famous meetings, conferences, and assemblies of the world, it's among the top ranks for the place of negotiations. The words of the parents, who hold the authority, have a big factor in deciding the outcome. The way the children, negotiate will be the key to this. Inside the living room, there were Mr. and Mrs. Hyoudou who sat on one side of the table with a serious look on their faces; facing them were Kazuki, Asia, and Raynare.

On the sidelines were Issei and Rias who had come at around the same time as the three of them after finishing their basic training exercises.

"Well, this situation isn't tense at all."

Kazuki said as if unable to comprehend the situation that was occurring at the moment.

"Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Hyoudou, I'm here on behalf of my father to discuss Asia-san here," Raynare started off causing Kazuki to realize that her 'father' must have been Azazel. "You see, our Asia-san here is an overseas transfer student that my father has decided to accommodate due to some familial troubles she had gone through in the past and she was interested in coming to Japan. Since arriving here she had been living in the same home as me in an attempt to get used to things here and she has become quite close to Kazuki-kun here."

Raynare started to explain in a manner that surprised Kazuki, which caused him to realize that she must've had a lot of experience in dealing with situations like this.

"And so, Mr. and Mrs. Hyoudou, I wanted to humbly ask if it would be fine is Asia-san would be allowed to live in the same home as Kazuki-kun?"

Her humble question caused both parents to look toward one another, then started to whisper into one another's ears, which caused them to wonder what was going to occur next.

"Asia…san, was it?"

"Yes, Kazuki-san's Otou-sama."

Asia replied nervously, but the serious expression that was on the face of Mr. Hyoudou faltered into a more nervous one as he chuckled while scratching the back of his head.

"O-Otou-sama…. Ku…I don't know how to put it, but having beautiful foreign girls call me "Otou-sama" sure does ring a bell to my heart…in a good way."

"Otou-san!"

Mrs. Hyoudou nudged him in the side using her shoulder in a manner that wouldn't cause serious pain, but it was enough to make him come back to his senses.

"A-Ahem! I'm happy to hear that you've taken an interest in our youngest child and also to hear that he has been assisting in ensuring that you would be comfortable living in Japan. Even if you desire to homestay here, our oldest child who is the embodiment of sexual desires resides in the same house. If something were to happen, I would feel too ashamed. Though, Kazuki who is our good child resides here as well wouldn't do anything. It's unfortunate, but it would be best if you were to remain in the same home as Yuuma-san."

"Yeah, that's right."

Mrs. Hyoudou agreed with the logical response from Mr. Hyoudou, but this caused a reaction from Issei who had seemed to be hurt by the words that came from his parents. Kazuki couldn't disagree with them either, while he did trust his brother in normal situations when it involved women things could get complicated. Raynare didn't falter at all and continued with another idea that acted as "Plan B".

"Then how about if Asia becomes your daughter, then?"

"Wait, what?"

"What do you mean?"

Kazuki and his father seemed confused about the words that came out of her mouth, and then Raynare continued in the same skillful and gentle tone that seemed perfect for negotiating.

"Mr. Hyoudou, Asia-san believes in Kazuki-kun more than the people who have been in her life. I believe in him as well. I know that Kazuki-kun is both intelligent and kind as well, he has assisted both of us in getting used to our first couple of days in school as well. Isn't that right, Asia-san?"

"Y-Yes, Kazuki-san has helped me a lot since I arrived here. He is my savior and first friend. He also helps me a lot at school. Even in class and on the weekends, he…."

After saying that, Asia started going over all that Kazuki had done for her minus all the 'supernatural things' which almost got them killed. She had a smile on her face as she explained all these things, which caught the attention of his parents who continued to listen with unabated focus while nodding their heads realizing that it sounded a lot like what their youngest son would do. However, after hearing all this, Kazuki started to become embarrassed even as she talked about him teaching her about kanji and speaking proper Japanese.

"And so, how about if this homestay also acts as bride training, then?"

[Bride!?]

Mr. and Mrs. Hyoudou, Kazuki, and Issei shouted out loud, the latter being a little bit jealous about it, while Asia just became a little flushed at the idea. Instead of being against the idea, tears started to roll down the eyes of their parents at the idea of their child being married.

"Since Ise was like this, I was sure that I would never see my grandchildren. I was always depressed that I would be worried about him living by himself after getting old. Though, I never had to concern myself with Kazuki since he was such a good and respectful child from the time he was old enough."

As soon as those words left the mouth of his father, Issei felt as if his words had stabbed him in the stomach and Rias remained on the side of him patting him on the back with an odd smile on his face.

"I also thought that Ise would never get a bride. It's because he's Ise. The stupid son. I have tried raising him so he wouldn't become a shame in society, but that all turned out to be a waste since he turned out this way. If I could go back to the past, I would convince my younger self. By told myself "Be careful since that son of yours will turn into a worthless son who hides lecherous DVDs inside his plastic model box hidden in his locker". I don't have to wait and see a grandchild if Kazuki is paired with you now and they'll also be adorable as well. I almost can't wait~"

Issei was shocked about his mother knowing the location of his stash, while Kazuki was confused about the fact he was getting a bride at this point in his life.

"T-Tou-san, K-Kaa-chan. D-Don't you think that things are going a little too fast?"

Kazuki tried to be rational about the situation, but his parents were too into the occurrence that would get them a grandchild.

"Asia-san," Mr. Hyoudou said as he grasped Asia-san's hand. "I might not have known you for long, but I believe that you will be a perfect bride for our youngest child. Can I leave him to you?"

"Kazuki-san is a wonderful person. I would be happy to become his bride."

"A-Asia-san, T-Tou-san."

"Yuuma-san, we will happily take Asia Argento-san into our home," Mrs. Hyoudou grasped the hand of Raynare who has been smiling about the success of this situation. "There was another girl who we were hoping would be Kazuki's bride and even agreed with her parents, but she moved away a long time ago. It was a situation that broke our dear Kazuki's heart. We've been hoping that she would return and become his bride and if she does we wouldn't mind her becoming his bride as well."

Raynare was almost stumped by the stars that were practically sparkling in the eyes of Mrs. Hyoudou who seemed too into the idea of having grandchildren even if it meant polygamy. Kazuki, on the other hand, felt almost like he would begin crying after hearing his mother's words.

"Is it alright? Won't it…be a burden…if I stay…?"

Asia seemed concerned that she might end up being a burden to the people living inside the house if she were to live with them. Kazuki despite being caught up in the sudden decision of their parents and Raynare couldn't stand to see Asia sad like that, then offered her a gentle smile.

"I-I don't know about the marriage thing, but there is no way that you would end up being a burden," he started to sound nervous at first but calmed down. "It would just be a chance for both of us to get to know one another even more."

"…Kazuki-san."

"See, even Kazuki is fine with the idea. I'll even start bride training as soon as you feel like you're fully prepared."

"It's fine, Asia-san! Get used to Japan at our house! You might stay here permanently after all!"

Kazuki realized that he might have ignited his parents' desires even more while attempting to comfort Asia which caused a wryly smile to appear on his face.

"There are some things that I don't understand about being a bride," Kazuki who remained next to her felt as if he were about to cry, but instead let out a nervous laugh. "But, I will be under your care, Kazuki-san, Ise-san, Otou-sama, and Okaa-sama."

His parents again felt almost like crying after realizing that their youngest found a bride, while Issei felt a little odd about the situation. This was one of the oddest situations that the two of them had been involved in of course, not including the whole supernatural incidents that occurred over a month ago.

"Well, things look like they've gone perfect," Raynare said in a gentle tone standing up from her seat. "I'll go and inform my father about the success of this meeting."

Raynare started to proceed toward the front door waving goodbye to the people in the room while ignoring Rias who shared a short glare toward one another for some reason. Mr. and Mrs. Hyoudou thanked them for this and said their goodbyes.

"Did she just escape?"

Kazuki questioned in his head.

"Well, Kazuki would you assist Asia-san in moving her belongings into the room in front of yours? There are a lot of things that I have to plan."

"Y-Yes, K-Kaa-chan."

Kazuki unable to disagree with his mother decided to bring all the belongings of Asia upstairs to the room in front of him, which caused Asia to stand up.

"A-Ah, I'll help you."

Her parents were charmed by the kindness of Asia who started to assist Asia in moving all her belongings to her new bedroom causing a bright smile to appear on Mrs. Hyoudou's face.

"Otou-san, don't they make a wonderful couple?"

"Yes, Okaa-san. I just knew that Kazuki would find such a wonderful and kind girl."

Both their parents grasped one another's hand, while Issei remained on the sidelines not uttering a single word in wonder if his parents were even thinking about him at all. Neither of the Hyoudous realized that Rias was looking in the other direction wearing a despondent smile on her face.

"…Bride, huh."

Rias questioned in a low tone, which neither of them picked up on, but Issei noticed that she had looked different compared to before. It looked as if there was something deep in her mind causing not a single word from him to reach her ears.

It hadn't that long to take all of Asia's belongings upstairs, especially since she was helping him. Kazuki and Asia started unboxing all the boxes inside her new bedroom. Whenever he opened up one of the boxes which had her underwear and stuff, Asia panicked and rushed toward the boxes before he could open them; but it would sometimes result in her tripping on something.

After finishing up, Kazuki and Asia sat down on her bed that now had her covers on it alongside "Rache-kun" who remained in the middle of her pillows. Asia smiled as she looked around her new room and drank the juice in her hands Kazuki let out a sigh of relief.

"Well, so does this look how you wanted it?"

Kazuki questioned Asia as he placed the empty glass on the ground near his feet.

"It's perfect," Asia replied smiling in his direction. "Especially, since you helped me."

"Of course, that is what friends are for."

"…u-um, Kazuki-san."

"Huh?"

After hearing Asia call his name albeit in a nervous tone, Kazuki glanced towards her as she pressed her fingers together. She glanced in his direction multiple times as if attempting to figure out the next words that were about to come out of her mouth before letting out a slight breath.

"Would you be happy to have me as a bride?"

Her question caused Kazuki to spit take and cough several times before glancing toward Asia who was staring at him with an innocent look.

"A-Asia-san, I-I d-don't think that…."

"S-So, I wouldn't make a good bride for you?"

"N-No, I didn't mean it like that! I would be the happiest person in the world if Asia-san agreed to become my wife. There are a lot of things that anyone would find appealing such as your kindness and looks. I felt almost blessed after you decided to take your time and make me some tea just an hour ago. I could even see Asia-san as being the best mother."

Asia's cheeks turned a bright red as she heard those words come out of his mouth, which caused Kazuki to think about what he said and do the same thing.

"I…I mean, if it is…Kazuki…then I don't mind….being…a mother."

"I-I didn't mean it like that."

Kazuki felt as if he were digging himself deeper and deeper as time passed. But both of them were stopped after hearing a scraping sound coming from the window. This caught their attention as it was odd for someone to be at the window. He held out his hand as if to signal that she didn't need to move forward and just remain back, then Kazuki went toward the window and opened the curtains.

"Huh? Well, this is a surprise."

Instead of being serious, he was instead shocked about who he saw tapping the window. It was a black cat―no, it was the same black cat he and Asia had been running into a lot. Not wasting time, he opened the window and allowed the black cat to jump into Asia's bedroom without warning and landed on the bed next to her.

"Awww, we have been seeing a lot of you lately, Kuro."

Asia cooed at the cat landed on her lap, which caused her to rub the cat's head.

Kuro was the name that Kazuki had come up with for the black cat since he'd been running into her lately for over a month. If it wasn't obvious, the name Kuro came from the beautiful black fur of the cat. Kazuki soon took a seat next to Asia and started scratching the ear of the black cat causing her to mewl happily.

"Nyaaa~"

"We've sure been seeing you a lot for over the past month, Kuro."

Kazuki thought that Kuro had an actual owner since her fur was too far well-groomed to be a normal street cat. It was an honest and plausible thought, but he didn't know how Kuro found out where they were. Although, he just thought that he was thinking too much about it. His parents also knew about the black cat already since she was sometimes waiting outside of their home at times so there weren't issues at all if she stayed for a while.

A couple of days later after Asia moved into their home, Kazuki found himself walking to school with Raynare and Asia who stood near him. Though he was a little nervous about Asia living under the same roof as him, her living with him was a lot more fun than he thought. It made him teaching her about speaking Japanese and kanji easier than before, but this gave his parents more ammunition about their 'marriage'.

Kazuki for the same number of days and even beforehand felt as if someone had their eyes on him whenever he was hanging around either Asia or Raynare. But, whenever he glanced in the direction where he felt the stares, they would vanish as if they weren't there in the first place. Kazuki didn't know who the person was, but he did at least tell Raynare about it just in case and both were on alert when they were alone.

"It's good weather today. Kazuki-san, we are playing softball in the gym today. It's my first time, so I'm excited."

He hadn't heard Asia be this excited about anything since eating a hamburger for the first time, but he gave a wryly smile after recalling that she wasn't the most physically acclimated individual not even by normal standards. But, it didn't change that he was glad to see Asia enjoying a normal school life instead of her original sad one.

"By the way Asia, are there any problems at school? Are you getting along with other girls?"

Kazuki questioned with a curious look.

Kazuki thought he was worrying too much since Asia hadn't been around normal high school students and knew that a new student with little knowledge about a foreign region would have some trouble fitting in. There could be times that he wasn't around her and Raynare would need to do something for Azazel, leaving the blonde-haired nun alone. However, those worries were unfounded as Asia nodded her head with a bright smile.

"You don't have to be worried, everyone has been kind to me. All of the girls have been teaching me a lot of things about Japan that I haven't yet learned from Kazuki-san. I also made a lot of friends. I was even invited to go out shopping with them."

He smiled after hearing about how well Asia was getting along with everyone despite being new. Despite all the incidents that occurred last month, she was even getting along with the members of the Occult Research Club. A notable feat as both of them were technically enemies from opposing sides.

"See? You had nothing to be worried about Kazuki-kun."

Raynare said in a lighthearted tone causing a slight sigh to escape from his mouth.

"I know, I was just a little concerned about people giving her a hard time. I know that some guys around Kuoh Academy would take advantage of her kindness and innocence."

"Like who?"

"Well, there are Motohama and Matsuda. And to a more or less extent…Aika-san."

"Why did you sound a little disheartened about that last part?"

Raynare questioned him after letting a slight laugh escape from her mouth.

"Nii-san's friends are all perverted in their over-the-top manners…bordering on sexual harassment, but Aika-san is the kind of person who will fill her head with different ideas."

"Come on, Aika-chan isn't that bad of a person."

"That's easy for you to say, she doesn't aim perverted comments toward you."

Hearing that question from Kazuki caused Raynare to laugh louder, which caused him to glance toward her with a sideways glance. As the three students continued to walk towards the direction of their school, the single male of the group started hearing some comments from them after stepping through the front gate. He got used to it after a long time, but since he started hanging around the two beautiful transfer students, it has become more frequent.

"…uhhh, Asia-san gets to walk alongside Kazuki-kun."

"Ugh, I'm so jealous, but I can't dislike Asia-san at all."

"I know, she's just too cute. I mean here blonde hair looks almost like gold."

Those were just some of the opinions of the female students around them.

"Argh, Kazuki even gets Asia-chan!"

"Impossible…what's going on…?"

"She's been around him from the moment she arrived."

"The same could be said about Yuuma-chan since she arrived."

"Why're all the girls fawning over him anyway? He looks like his perverted brother."

Those were just the negative comments that he was receiving from the male students who held hatred towards him due to all the interest female students had for him. Neither of them did affect him since there was no emotion other than petty jealousy for something he couldn't control.

After the start of physical education, Kazuki, Issei, Raynare, and Asia found themselves dressed in their clothing meant for the gym. For Kazuki and Issei, it consists of a white t-shirt with blue accents with the school emblem and a pair of blue shorts; on, the other hand, Raynare, and Asia were dressed in a similar t-shirt and bloomers. As soon as physical education started, their class was divided into Teams A and B, with the four of them being on Team A.

"Alright, what's wrong?"

Kazuki questioned his brother who stood beside him as their team was getting prepared to play softball.

"What're you talking about?"

"You've been acting weird since this morning and haven't been paying attention in class," Kazuki replied, but then he came up with a realization. "Though, now that I think about it, you already don't pay attention in class."

"Are you trying to make me feel better or worse?"

Issei glared at his little brother with an annoyed look on his face but later nodded his head in agreement.

"You're right. I've been thinking about Buchou lately."

"Don't you do that already?"

Kazuki again gave out a reasonable response, but this caused Issei to glare at him with an annoyed glare.

"Zip it! I meant I've been worried about her a lot lately."

"Now that you mention it. She has been different since Asia-san moved into your house."

Raynare pointed out causing Asia to make a worried look.

"Uhhh, did I do something to anger Buchou-san?"

"No, I don't think that's it. If she had something against you, then I don't think that she would've come to their home as much. I'm just saying that she started acting weird at around that point. I mean, we haven't even had our usual verbal exchange with one another."

Asia felt relieved after hearing that explanation from Raynare, but Issei and Kazuki sweatdropped after noticing the comment about their 'verbal exchange'.

""So, you two are aware of that?""

Issei and Kazuki thought the same thing at the same time.

"Well, then I wonder what happened with Buchou-san."

"I guess that it could have something to do with the Gremory Clan. All of you recall that she isn't a normal school girl, she is the next heiress to one of the highest-ranked devil families. If she suddenly starts acting weird, then it might have something to do with the Underworld."

"I guess so…."

The amount of concern that Issei had toward Rias displayed he did care about more than just her breasts and all things of that nature. Neither of them could continue with their conversation as their teacher blew the whistle, which signaled the start of their softball game. As the game continued, it was Team A that had a notable lead over Team B, in which it was noted that Issei and Raynare were a lot more physically inclined than others.

The moment that it was Kazuki's turn to appear as his team's batter, he received immediate cheers from all of his female students there was immediate cheer from all the female students, even those from the opposing team.

"Do your best, Kazuki-kyun~!"

"Knock it out of the field, Kazuki-kun!"

"Beat the naughty pitcher, Kazuki-kun!"

"Oh, come on, he isn't on our team!"

The pitcher from Team B shouted toward his supposed teammates who were supposed to support him but were all in favor of Kazuki. In response to his female team cheering for the opposite side, for Kazuki in particular, their team's pitcher clenched the softball in his hand with greater resolve.

"…eh."

Kazuki was stumped about the 'fighting spirit' that was raised from the pitcher to where it sent a shiver down his spine, but he still got into a position to hit the ball. He was prepared since some members of the other team were members of the Baseball Team, but he didn't know if the pitcher was one of them. In response to his stance, the pitcher prepared to launch the ball in his hand.

"I won't lose to the brother of a pervert!"

"Hey! Just for that school that jerk, Kazuki!"

Issei cheered in an enraged tone as he stood up from his seat, which caused Kazuki to let a slight breath escape from his mouth. As soon as the ball was launched toward him, Kazuki was able to follow the path of the ball as it was flying toward him using his eyes a little better than before. Using this, he swung the bat in his hand towards the same path using the same motion that he would in Kendo Club. And—

Hit!

The softball was launched over the head of the pitcher, and then Kazuki dropped the bat and ran toward the direction of the base. Those on the bases on Team A were rushing toward the bases, though after noticing that one of the members of Team B caught the softball, Kazuki stopped at second base. Afterward, Asia was next to step onto the plate, but she was notably nervous about it and holding the bat in the wrong way.

"Ahhhh…."

Asia let a slight noise escape from her mouth as her hands and mouth trembled nervously, which caused varying reactions from the students on both teams. She was first excited about being able to play softball with the others for the first time, but she was now too nervous to focus on anything else.

"Teacher, can I help Asia-san?!"

Kazuki spoke up catching the attention of the students and lone teacher, which caused the latter to nod his head much to the happiness of Asia. Once he received to go-ahead from the teacher, he moved from the base where he was standing and rushed toward Asia who was still shaking nervously.

"Alright, Asia-chan what's wrong?"

"U-Uhhh, Kazuki-san, I know that I was excited about being able to play softball," Asia seemed to be on the brink of tears as she stared at Kazuki. "But, after seeing everyone perform playing, I don't think that I can do any better than everyone else."

"Asia-san," Kazuki spoke to Asia in a comforting tone. "You do not need to be or do anything better than anyone. All you need to do is have fun and do whatever you can no matter what anyone else thinks otherwise, okay?"

"O-Okay."

In response to the voice of confidence from Kazuki, Asia gave him a response that was filled with more resolve.

"Now, you should stand like this and hold the bat like this."

Kazuki started to place Asia in the correct position to be able to use the bat and give the proper swing, although it was due to the contact and hands-on approach that caused a deep blush to appear on her cheeks. It was a similar reaction from the female students who felt jealous about the care that Kazuki was taking with Asia. She was now holding the bat in her hands in a correct manner and had the correct posture.

"…why does it feel like I'm being watched again?"

Kazuki felt as if he were being watched by more than just the female students in their class, but he wasn't able to tell who or where it was coming from.

"You'll do great Asia-san."

"Alright, Kazuki-san."

Kazuki rushed back toward the base where he was standing, then the game proceeded forward.

"Alright, this will be easy…."

As the pitcher was going to pitch the softball at Asia, he started at the saddened look on her face, which caused him to think of a saddened pup.

"Please go easy on me."

Asia said in a sad tone to match her expression.

"…here."

The pitcher launched the softball toward Asia in the most gentle manner possible, but she did as she was told by Kazuki and swung the bat as best as she could. Though it wasn't launched the same way as it was Kazuki, it was launched far enough away from her.

"Run, Asia!"

[Run, Asia-chan/san!]

Kazuki, as well as people, from Team A and B, called out causing Asia to drop and run as best as she could, but it showed that she wasn't a fast runner. Despite this, no one attempted to tag her out due to the chance of it causing them to be hated among the class and possibly around the school as the one who made Asia sad. However as Kazuki was running toward the next base, someone with a more fit build was able to grab the softball.

"I don't care if I'm hated among the students. I'm taking out the brother of the pervert!"

The male student said with a more aggressive tone as he held the softball in a manner, then went into a posture, which showed that he was a member of the Baseball Club. And without warning, he launched the softball toward Kazuki who was heading towards the last base. Kazuki turned his head in the same direction as the softball as a lot of the female students started to gasp believing that it would end up hitting him.

"I won't be able to avoid it…it's going to at least hit me in the eye or something."

That was Kazuki's thought on the subject as the softball sailed closer and closer toward him without the chance of avoiding it at that distance. However, he noticed something odd occur in front of him and wasn't able to explain it in the slightest. But, in short, the baseball seemed to switch positions avoiding him altogether confusing the person who threw it toward him.

Kazuki decided to ignore what happened for the moment and continued to run toward the baseline. That was the last thing that decided the victory for Team A. Kazuki heard the cheeks from both teams, but Raynare noticed that the position of the softball was switched alongside Issei who thought that it was weird.

Their class continued until it was time for those with club activities to attend them, though it left both Asia and Raynare who had no club activities. Raynare decided to return home to finish some business for Grigori, but Asia decided to join Kazuki as a watcher in the Kendo Club, which Kaito agreed to. And so, she stood on the sideline as Kazuki and the others practiced under the instruction of their adviser.

Inside the Occult Research Club, their club president and great Onee-sama of Kuoh Academy, but she wasn't in her usual gentle or confident demeanor. She instead was wearing more of a vacant expression that didn't appear to be paying attention to anything around her. Those who were part of her peerage such as Akeno, Kiba, and Koneko realized this sudden change in demeanor; even Issei noticed her change.

Expect for the others, Akeno alone could guess what was troubling her as Rias' closest friend aside from Sona as her Queen, who was the confidant of the King.

"I'm back!"

Issei called out as he made it through the front door stretching his arms after having just driven his bike around to all the clients he received requests from. Since he didn't have the demonic power to use the same teleportation circle of devils, that children could use, Issei rode around on a bicycle. Though Issei was greeted by the others, he didn't get a single response from Rias whose head was resting on her hand.

"Buchou. I'm back."

Issei again tried to get her attention, but Rias again was looking in another direction dazed as if she were unable to hear him.

"Buchou!"

"I-I'm sorry. I was dazed for a bit. Good work, Ise."

Rias regained her focus as she glanced toward Issei who had spoken out loud in a louder tone.

Realizing that there were things that still needed to be completed as far as their club activities and their requests as devils. She noted that there was an increase in the positive ratio for Issei who has been getting nothing but good reviews from the clients that he's had. However, all of them noticed that Rias was being a lot more vacant despite her attempts at trying to act like nothing was wrong.

"Well, since there's nothing more to go over. Why don't we all leave early?"

"Isn't it a little too early for that?

"Are you sure Buchou?"

Both Kiba and Issei questioned showing concern for their President/King, but Rias waved off their concern using a gentle smile.

"It's alright. You can all go home."

Neither of them questioned her decision and all of them started leaving, though Akeno remained for just a couple of seconds and seemed as if she were about to speak.

"Rias," Akeno spoke to her using no honorifics and instead in a manner that showed their close friendship. "Does this have something to do with…."

"I don't know Akeno, but I'll have to see if that will be coming up. Until then, you can return home."

"Alright, Rias."

And with a final bow of her head, Akeno left the room leaving Rias the lone individual remaining. Rias let a slight sigh escape from her mouth and leaned back in her president's seat, but her attention was soon caught towards the bright red light that shined in front of her. Rias' expression became sterner as she realized that it was, in fact, the Gremory Clan emblem.

"…."

Rias could feel discomfort in her chest as the person appeared before her eyes.

As soon as club activities were finished, Kazuki found himself lying down in his bed and going through all the light-based weapons that he recovered from the stray exorcists he defeated. He gained a basic understanding of how all of them worked after seeing them using it and hearing Raynare explain them. Kazuki didn't see the use of wielding the other light weapons that most of them used but was interested in the light sword.

He was going to assist Asia with her homework since she was still getting used to things, but she said, "I'm sorry, I want to take a bath first". So, he just decided to lie down and go over the light weapons that he stored inside of dimensional storage he learned to use.

"I think that I can find some good use in these things, although I don't know the proper mechanics of some of the light swords ended up breaking on me. I guess that if Azazel is interested in doing me a favor, then he can make some modifications to them."

Kazuki thought out loud, then turned one of them causing the light blade to shoot out from the hilt. His mind soon started to wander back toward the incident that occurred during their game of softball. At around the same time, Kuro shot from underneath his bed and jumped onto his chest.

"Whoa, I didn't think that you would still be here, Kuro."

"Nyaa~"

"Are you wondering what I was thinking about," he thought in a joking manner not thinking that Kuro was able to understand him. "Well, there was this weird incident at school, where a softball was launched toward me, but then I think that it moved away from me on its own or it teleported."

"…nyaa."

Kuro had given him a response that seemed as if she could understand him, but Kazuki was too caught up in his initial thought to realize that. He started to scratch the ear causing an immediate reaction from her, which was followed by an affectionate nya. As his mind started going toward the incident that occurred, he was caught by surprise as a sudden bright light covered his entire room.

"Nyaaa!"

Kuro let out a loud nya as she hid under his bed out of something, which Kazuki could describe as being panic. It was a blue teleportation magic circle that he hadn't seen used before. He stood prepared for whoever appeared out of the magic circle.

"Who is this appearing out of nowhere," he said then recalled something. "I know that the Gremory Clan all use a red magic circle and the Sitri Clan use a blue magic circle. But, what would someone from the Sitri want with…?"

He witnessed two individual silhouettes within the blue brilliance caused by the magic circle, based on the figures alone, he realized that the two were women. No—the first person who came into full view was the definition of an ideal woman. She appeared to be in her twenties with a beautiful face, a perfect figure including beasts, and a waist that most women would kill for; she also had long silver hair that had two braids and red-colored eyes.

The second was someone who could pass as being her younger sister if not daughter if no one knew them, but she seemed to be the same age as himself with the same red eyes. Kazuki gained an immediate blush which dusted his cheeks not just due to two beautiful women appearing in his room, but it was because both of them were dressed as maids whose clothes had different variations. Although he never wanted to admit it to anyone, he did have an interest in maids.

"Are you trying to break the agreement by doing something like…?"

The oldest silver-haired woman questioned but was stopped as she realized that there was one occupant inside the bedroom, which based on her expression wasn't there.

"Ah, I'm sorry. But, what're you doing in my bedroom?"

"I apologize," the oldest silver-haired woman questioned in a respective tone. "Lucina, I thought that you set the location to appear to be where Rias-sama was."

"But, I did," the silver-haired maid now named Lucina replied nervously. "This is where Rias-ojousama should be located here."

Based on how Lucina referred to Rias as "Ojou-sama" it meant that both maids could work for the Gremory Clan.

"Well, if you are sure that she is here. I guess that she could be in my Nii-san's bedroom, if so, then I believe that you might have overshot the…ugh."

"Waaah, I'm a failure as a maid!"

"Waah!"

Faster than he could react, Kazuki found himself in the tight if not—for lack of better words powerful embrace of Lucina who continued to wrap her arms around him. In response to this, Grayfia placed her hand on her forehead as if expecting this kind of reaction. Kazuki found himself in an odd situation as two silver-haired maids appeared in front of him and one of them had their arms wrapped around him.

A/N: And there goes chapter eight of The Twin Dragons, I apologize for the late update, I was a little busy working on DxD – The Last Amagiri. Well, this is the official start of the Riser Phenex Arc and there were a lot of different things that happened. One of them is Asia's addition to the Hyoudou Residence and the potential marriage partner of Kazuki Hyoudou. There was also the odd incident that occurred during the softball game that Kazuki and the others participated in. This also marks the introduction of both Grayfia and Lucina, the latter will have a different revised background.
