Pawnofriasgremory: I might end up doing that and might just end up adding in Seekvaria since Ravel is an essential part of Issei in the future.
Weslyschraepen: I thought that since the two of them are similar to one another and that sounds like an interesting idea.
Streetlife34: Thanks. I'll make sure that Kazuki has some progress in training, but not too much so that it will be far above the others. It'll be enough so that he can fight against Riser and the others. His progress will be shown in their fight during the current arc. I do think that the two of them will be a good match for one another, but that'll leave Issei without someone to act as his manager and planner unless there was someone else to replace Ravel.
Guest1337: I apologize for the confusion, but as stated in The Twin Dragons' summary, I'm remaking the story since I felt that there were a lot of things that I did wrong. Training the White Dragon
"So, what you're saying is that Azazel plans on offering training at the same ten-day period as the Rating Game."
It was nighttime, over an hour or two after Kazuki informed Raynare about the incident with Riser Phenex, but he didn't expect to receive a call back talking about training. He heard that Azazel was interested in sacred gears far more toward the Longinus from Sona while being informed about more details by Raynare.
[Yes, Azazel-sama thought that it would be a great chance to train since your older brother, the current holder of the Boosted Gear will be training as well. I guess that it wouldn't look good if this generation Hakuryuukou wasn't training Sekiryuutei, his rival.]
Raynare talked to him in a joking manner, while Kazuki thought about the prospects of this training since normal training wouldn't even let him defeat someone as strong as Raiser.
"I'll take part in this training, but the person involved is…."
[That would be Vali.] Raynare replied in a slightly worried tone. [He's not the worst person to be involved in training someone since he does that more than anyone in Grigori. But, as the training partner of a human who started to use his sacred gear over a month ago. That'll be an unfair match up when you consider that Azazel-sama states it would no surprise if Vali would become one of the strongest beings there is.]
"That might be true, that's not an offer that I can refuse at the moment. It might sound weird coming from a believer like myself, but Grigori is one of the few places that I know that could help me with my sacred gear."
[Well, I'll support that decision. But, Vali told Azazel-sama, 'I'll be in charge of training the Hakuryuukou using my methods'. I know that Vali won't go as far as to get you killed, but I think that it'll be close enough.]
After hearing those words, Kazuki laughed nervously just thinking about the training that'll be in store for him in a short span of a couple of hours.
"Well, as long as Asia-san is allowed to come, I don't think that'll come close too death."
[Well, as long as you're assured. If you need anything else just call me.]
Having said those final words, Raynare hung up the phone, and Kazuki placed his phone down on the bed as an extended sigh escaped from his mouth. After that was done, he felt a slight pressure on the bed, which caused him to glance in that particular direction and noticed Kuro jumping onto his bed next to him.
"Hello, Kuro."
"Nya."
Kuro mewled happily as Kazuki petted the black cat softly on her head.
"I've been thinking about Nii-san and the others facing off against Riser and his peerage," he stated, but a slightly saddened expression appeared on his face. "I would like to have faith in them since they're my friends, but I don't think that they'll be able to win in the end."
"Nyaa?"
"I know that it won't be a completely one-sided fight, but the fact that Raiser and his peerage has far more combat experience in the Rating Games. I don't know if either of them train on a daily since I once heard from Sona-san that most High-Class Devils don't train themselves or their servants and even trades them off if they aren't strong enough. If they train themselves right and if Nii-san uses his Boosted Gear, then their chances will skyrocket, but I know that they'll put up a fight against them."
Kazuki surmised causing Kuro to just stare at him as he continued muttering to himself.
"The Longinus such as Boosted Gear and Divine Dividing has absolute power, but using it depends on the users' training and how it's used. Just look at me, I'm talking to a cat, but Kuro is smarter than most cats, right."
"Nyaa~ Nyaa~"
Kazuki petting Kuro affectionately on the head, which caused her to nuzzle against his hand.
"Alright, I think that it's about time that I take a shower to calm down," Kazuki thought out loud. "I don't think that anyone should be on there right now."
Kazuki stood up to his feet, preparing for taking a shower gathering a change of clothes before stepping outside of his bedroom, all without knowing that something akin to a mischievous smile appeared on Kuro's face.
After heading toward the bathroom, Kazuki glanced noticing that there wasn't clothing a change of clothing inside of the small bin near the door. He then took off the clothes that he had on, then placed them in the bin where the dirty clothes go and placed his fresh clothes in the bin; before taking his towel and entering the bathroom, where there was no sound inside meaning there was no one inside.
At least, that's what he thought—
As soon as Kazuki opened the door, there was steam in the bathroom meaning someone was taking a shower or at least took a shower.
"…Ah."
A slight familiar sound came from the bathroom as a familiar figure turned to see who opened the door.
It was the lone blonde-haired beautiful girl in their home, Asia who had one leg already beginning to enter the tub filled with hot water, but her body was wet meaning that she must've washed off first.
"…."
"…."
Both Kazuki and Asia stared at one another without making a single word as if the two of them were both frozen in time, but the two of them were still examining one another's body. He stared at the uncovered proportions of Asia, her golden blonde hair that was wet from the water clung to her soft-looking skin, green eyes that stared at him; her breasts weren't too small and big enough to fit her build. Her tight hips and buttocks were all visible to him as well including her maidenhood. All in all, Asia wasn't at all thin.
After seeing all that, Kazuki's entire face started turning red including Asia who seemed to have been also doing the same thing and scanned through his entire trained build before her eyes lowered downwards.
"Kyaaa!"
Asia let out a slight scream after noticing his enlarged member, which caused her face to turn bright red.
As a former sister from the Church, of course, she hadn't seen another man naked, which sparked an immediate reaction from her. After returning to reality from that sound, Kazuki covered himself using the towel in his hand in a state of mental panic himself.
"I-I'm sorry, Asia-san," Kazuki immediately apologized not knowing the kind of effect that this might do Asia's innocence. "I honestly didn't know you were in here. I didn't see anyone's clothes outside or hear anything and…I'll leave now!"
Kazuki turned around to leave in a rush, but before he could take another step forward, Asia reached her hand out and grasped him by his wrist.
"W-Wait, Kazuki-san. I-It was my first time seeing a man's…thing…. I'm sorry."
"Y-You don't n-need to apologize for anything."
Both of them remained silent until Asia started speaking again and said something that he couldn't believe.
"No, I understand…. Everyone told me about the rule when you're having a bath in Japan, s-so I'm all right…," a shy sounding tone could be heard in Asia's face. "I heard there is something called a 'nude encounter' when you have baths together…. That you get to know each other by having a bath together…."
"I-I mean that isn't false, but that's with the same gender!"
"…I was told…to do this with someone I want to form a special relationship with…. I don't mind if it's Kazuki-san, no I want to deepen my relationship with Kazuki-san even more…. That's why will you have a bath together with me…?"
Hearing that innocent question from Asia, Kazuki turned around hesitantly to see an equally innocent expression on her face. There was a slight part of his rational senses that wanted to go along with it due to the way that he's been asked by Asia, but he then shook his head.
"L-Look Asia, I mean what you said isn't wrong, but the thing is that this is usually done with a similar gender."
"The same gender? Does that mean that I can't be inside of the bath with Kazuki-san?"
"That should be something that you do with someone that you're extremely close to."
"But, I'm already close to Kazuki-san, aren't I," Asia questioned cutely as she tilted her head. "I wouldn't mind just as long as it's you, Kazuki-san."
Having heard those words, Kazuki felt his heart skipping a beat at the almost mystifying and calming voice of the blonde-haired girl in front of him.
"Kazuki-san would you," Asia started as she stepped in front of him, but slipped on the small amount of water, which formed a little puddle. "Kyaaa."
"Asia-san?!"
He moved to stop Asia from slipping onto the ground, but due to the lack of traction, Kazuki ended up slipping on his feet backward as Asia fell forward. This caused a loud thumb as both of them landed on the ground, both of their hands facing from the bathroom door.
"Ugh."
Kazuki had groaned as he felt the pain from falling backward on the ground, being almost disoriented as a result of the sudden impact. Despite this, he felt a soft sensation from his chest as he rubbed the back of his head while his other hand suddenly touched something else soft. After hearing a loud moan on top of him, Kazuki regained a lot of his senses and realized who it was.
"A-Asia-san…."
Kazuki lifted his head noticing that Asia had landed on top of him and her breasts were pressed up against his uncovered chest.
"Nnnn, uh," Kazuki heard Asia moaning slightly for some reason, which caused him to think what it could be. "Uh, Kazuki-san, I feel something hard pressing against my…."
After hearing that from Asia, Kazuki could feel something soft pressed against his member, which caused both of their faces to burn brighter than before.
Open!
"Is there something wrong, Asia-chan?!"
If things couldn't get more awkward, Kazuki's mother opened the door after hearing Asia screaming, but all three of them stopped and looked at one another silent. The awkwardness in the room could be felt by everyone, but it was silenced as his mother spoke.
"I apologize for interrupting," his mother said before closing the door behind her and ran off somewhere. "Otou-san, it looks like we're going to have a grandchild soon!"
Having heard those words, Kazuki placed the back of his head on the ground before turning it slightly as a trace of blood leaked from his nose due to the situation he was in at the moment being too much for him. Asia then stood up from off of Kazuki poking her fingers together shyly after all that happened, her face is as red as ever.
"Uh, Kazuki-san. Do you still want to take a bath with me?"
"Uh, sure why not?"
Kazuki unable to handle the situation anymore, just absentmindedly agreed with the request much to the delight of Asia who cheered at the thought of taking a bath with Kazuki. And just like that, both remained inside the bath for a couple of minutes before leaving; but after realizing that her clothes weren't there, Asia put a towel on ran over to her bedroom to change into her nightclothes.
"So you're sure that you're clothes were there before entering the bathroom?"
Having calmed down and finished taking their bath together, Kazuki and Asia entered his bedroom to talk about the fact all the oddities that occurred neither of them could explain. Both of them were sitting on the floor, leaning against his bed while Kuro laid silently on the bed.
"Yes, Kazuki-san. After placing my old clothes in the washing bin, I placed my change of clothes there," she had replied recalling the events that occurred. "But, after leaving the bathroom they were gone."
"Well, I can already eliminate Nii-san as taking them," Kazuki recalled the state of mind that Issei was in after all them returned home. "He's too depressed thinking about what had happened in the Occult Research Club to do anything perverted. I don't see either Kaa-san or Tou-san doing anything like taking your clothes, Kaa-san would have warned you at least beforehand."
"Could there be someone else inside the house?"
Asia questioned being worried about that fact since neither of Mr. or Mrs. Hyoudou could protect themselves if a supernatural person was inside of the house without. Kazuki thought about the first thing that felt weird moments before entering the bathroom.
"I couldn't hear anything before opening the door," Kazuki wondered what could have caused that. "The one thing that I can think of is that someone placed a barrier around the bathroom so that I couldn't hear anything inside the bathroom, but why would someone do something like that? I don't know what do you think Kuro?"
Kazuki joked not thinking that Kuro would be able to come up with an actual physical response, but after running a single paw against her hair….
"That was me, nyaa~ It was fun seeing you two being all lovey-dovey, but I wanted to give you two a little push."
"Oh, was that…all."
"M-Me and Kazuki-san, being lovey…dovey."
After finishing their separate response, Kazuki's and Asia's eyes widened in realization then started at each other before turning around to face the direction where that female's voice came from. Both of them stared at the black cat that remained on the bed running her paw against her hair.
"Hahaha, that didn't happen. Kuro didn't speak like an actual person, right Asia-san?"
"I don't know Kazuki-san, but that voice came from around Kuro-chan."
Neither could believe that Kuro was speaking to them like a normal person, even Kazuki who was usually the most rational couldn't fathom that idea.
"You're reactions are so cute, nyaa~," this time Kuro spoke before their eyes sitting in a manner that seemed as if she were resting her head on her paws laughing a bit. "Not that I blame you though, who would've expected to find a black cat able to speak to you?"
""Aaaaaaaah!""
Both Kazuki and Asia fell backward after seeing Kuro talk in front of them, which neither of them definitely would have expected after finding a black cat.
"K-Kuro, y-you're talking?"
"Well, it either that or you're high on something," 'Kuro' had laughed before looking toward them. "Well, if it makes anything better I'm not a normal cat."
"W-Well, I could've guessed that already. If you're not a normal black cat then who are you?"
In response to their questions, 'Kuro' caused a bright light to be emitted from her entire form causing both Kazuki and Asia to cover their faces. After reopening their eyes, Kazuki blushed a deep shape of red after witnessing as Asia did the same thing. Sitting on top of his bed wasn't a black cat, but a beautiful young woman who seemed to be a little older than them with long black hair and gold eyes, there were also cat ears on top of her head and two tails swinging back and forth. But, the most notable thing was that she was naked revealing her abundant breasts that could rival Rias' and Akeno's breasts.
"Hello, nyaa~"
"T-That's what you look like?"
"Yea, impressed?"
The unnamed women questioned, showing off more of her uncovered body to Kazuki, whose face seemed to be turning redder by the moment. Though, he was snapped out of his trance as he felt a piercing pain that originated from his cheek courtesy of Asia who was pouting at him.
"Muuu, Kazuki-san aren't you paying too much attention to Kuro-chan."
"Ouwch Ouwch, Asia-swan."
"Well, you're half right about my name. It's Kuroka."
The newly named Kuroka said in a joyous tone enjoying the moment between Asia and Kazuki, but the latter had ignored the pain from his cheek.
"Wait, did you just say that your name was," Kazuki was about to question, but instead looked toward the ground in an attempt to avoid looking at her. "Would you please get dressed? It's difficult to talk when you're naked."
"Really, but I was naked all the time when you were talking to me?"
"Being naked as a cat and in human form are two different things!"
"You act smart and rational all the time, but you're so cute to tease."
Kuroka stated before snapping her fingers causing a bright light to envelope her entirely before fading, revealing attire consisting of a black kimono opened at her shoulders threatening to release her abundant chest with a red interior being shown, a yellow obi wrapped around her waist, and black slippers with a purple strap.
"Do you prefer this or me wearing nothing before?"
"Before I answer that question," Kazuki replied but it was obvious that he wouldn't entertain her on that subject. "I heard you say that your name was Kuroka, right? Then wouldn't that mean you're Koneko-chan's older sister?"
"Nyaa, that's a surprise I didn't think that my dear Shirone would about her Onee-sama do anyone," Kuroka said in a surprised tone. "I almost thought that she would keep me a secret from everyone aside from those from that little peerage of Rias Gremory."
"Uh, Shirone. Are you referring to Koneko-chan?"
Asia said confused about the entire situation, which was further shown by the manner of how she tilted her head.
"I promise that I'll inform you about some of the details sometime later, but Koneko-chan told me that out of trust and I don't want to betray that," he said causing Asia to nod her head in agreement. "She told me what happened before she met Rias-senpai and was reincarnated into a devil."
"Well, it's true," Kuroka said in a cheerful tone. "I did kill my former master after going…."
"You don't give off that impression," Kazuki stated as he stared at Kuroka much to her surprise. "Based on all the stories that I heard it was said that you went berserk after being drunk on your power and killed your master. But, you don't seem to give off that feeling."
Kuroka was genuinely surprised about that statement from Kazuki since no one said those kinds of words to her before after hearing that story.
"Geez, if you say things like that then I might start falling for you," Kuroka said under her breath, in which neither Kazuki or Asia could see. "Well, believe what you want. But, I didn't come here to talk about me nyaa~"
"What are you here for?"
"My battle maniac of a leader wanted to ensure that his rival was in top condition."
"Battle manic leader?"
Kazuki thought that was weird, he first thought that it was Azazel who could've sent Kuroka, but after hearing that phrase 'battle maniac leader', he realized it was someone else.
"You mean, Vali."
"That's right. All he's interested in fighting against stronger opponents," Kuroka said after crossing her arms. "And I guess that having someone with talent and potential like yours while having a Longinus, but didn't use either of them seemed like almost a waste to him. I could tell that he was happy after hearing that you decided to awaken Divine Dividing and sent me here to heal your condition using senjutsu. Since it can be used to strengthen one's internal and external body through controlling ki."
"So, that's what happened?"
Kazuki recalled the time that he felt better than normal before a reason, but hearing this from Kuroka caused him to believe that it must've her using senjutsu on him.
"So, this involves the training that Vali was supposed to be putting me through?"
"You're on point as ever, Kazuki. First, Vali wanted me to remain secret and deal with your weak constitution, but since this whole mess between the Gremory and Phenex happened. The perfect chance to do actual training for his potential rival and wanted me to bring you to our hideout."
"I see. Well, I didn't expect that the random black cat that I found would end up being a nekomata and even know Vali," he said though felt a little bit exhausted as time passed. "I think that it's about time that we get some sleep."
After hearing that from him, Kuroka smiled in a cat-like manner before laying down in his bed in a panoramic way as she stared seductively toward Kazuki while toying with her gold obi.
"Well, if you don't mind I could use senjutsu relieve all of that tension can we can relish a long passion-filled night with this Onee-sama, nyaa~"
Hearing that caused Asia blush at that idea, but Kazuki instead pointed his index finger toward the door.
"Not happening. Get out."
"Nyaaa~?!"
Kuroka seemed surprised about his sudden refusal not thinking that he would refuse the offer.
Afterward, it was decided that Kuroka would sleep in the same room as Asia, although she transformed back to a black cat albeit pouting almost the entire time.
The next morning, Kazuki found himself inside of his bedroom packing a duffle bag filled with the clothes that he would need. He sighed a bit after recalling his parents going on about him and Asia having a child after his mom caught them on top of each other to the point of going to the discount store to purchase baby clothes mentioning 'shotgun marriages'. Before Rias and the others left for their training, he asked her to use her demonic powers on his parents to make them believe he and Asia were going camping.
Raynare even arrived beforehand holding far more information about the training that would be planned with Vali, which would take place somewhere else. Before she left, Kazuki handed her the light swords and guns he gained from the exorcists and asked if Azazel could do something to make them into better devices. Moments later, Asia entered the bedroom carrying around a bag that had a number of her belongings inside of it.
"I'm prepared, Kazuki-san."
Asia cheerfully said as she held the bad in her hands and Kuroka followed behind her waving her hands towards him in a similar fashion.
"Are you prepared to make the craziest team you'll ever meet?"
"…yes?"
Kazuki didn't know how to respond after hearing that from Kuroka and he didn't know if he should feel concerned or not about meeting the 'craziest team'. But, he was curious about what kind of people would be part of the team that Kuroka was apart of. He prepared himself as both him and Asia stood next to Kuroka, who had soon created a magic circle meant for transportation underneath them, which flashed brightly taking them away from the area.
All three of them soon arrived in what seemed to be an unknown forested area somewhere in the Human World, but Kazuki couldn't tell where this place was. But, there was a large residence that seemed bigger than his house with at least six floors and a large enough space where someone could train. Asia was marveling at the nature all around her as noted by the looks in her eyes.
"Ah, this place looks beautiful Kazuki-san."
"Well, this wasn't what I was expecting. It seems almost as if there are more people apart of this team than I initially thought," Kazuki said as he couldn't see an end to the number of trees around them. "How many people are part of this team."
"Counting me and Vali, there are five people," Kuroka said much to his surprise. "We might be a small team, but all five of us alone are way stronger than the people apart of Rias' and Riser's peerage. I and another member proficient in magic combined our abilities to seal this place in another space so that no one aside from us should be able to enter this location."
"Huh? Why does it sound like Azazel doesn't know about this team?"
"Well, being the one who essentially raised Vali, I think that Azazel has an idea that Vali does have a team. But, I don't think that he knows the particular information about either of us."
Hearing that from Kuroka caused Kazuki to feel a little suspicious, but now wasn't the time for him to think about anything else aside from his training at the moment. Soon enough, Kuroka started leading them towards the front door before stopping in front of the door.
"Now, here it comes," Kuroka said in an almost serious dramatic tone. "The most dangerous member of the Vali Team who could lay waste to everyone and everything that exists in this forest with a single glance."
"…."
After hearing that from Kuroka caused Kazuki to become spectacle about the entire thing, while Asia seemed to have taken the entire thing seriously. Asia even grabbed onto his arm as both of them heard footsteps coming in the direction of the front door, her fright being more noted as her grip on Kazuki's started to increase. As the door opened in front of them revealing a slight silhouette, causing Asia to let out a slight yelp, but it wasn't what either of them was expected.
"Welcome back, Kuroka-san."
Standing in front of them was a cute blonde-haired foreign girl with a slim built whose hair reached her shoulders, blue eyes and dressed in a school uniform with an apron worn over it; she seemed to be around the same age as Koneko, but her breasts seemed bigger almost as big as Asia's. Both Kazuki and Asia stared at the blonde girl in confusion as the former turned his attention toward Kuroka with a blank look.
"This is the member who can 'lay waste to everyone and everything that exists in this forest with a single glance', Kuroka-san," Kazuki questioned confusing the blonde-haired girl who titled her had cutely. "Why did you say something like that?"
"It's not like it isn't true. We all rely on Le Fay here for almost everything," Kuroka said. "If we make her mad, then she would refuse to do the housework around our hideouts we're too lazy to do. Though, if she doesn't cook her wonderful meals, then we'd just eat instant noodles."
"Hmm, there are two people that I don't know here," Le Fay said as she stepped outside of the entrance then she stared at Kazuki before recalling a previous conversation with their leader. "Ah, I see. You must be Kazuki-sama, the current Hakuryuukou that Vali-sama was referring to."
Kazuki could tell that this girl was nothing but kind as noted by her tone alone and the smile that she sent toward him, which caused Asia to come from beside him and smiled.
"Ah, I apologize," Asia said suddenly causing Le Fay to become confused about the sudden apology despite them having never met before. "Kuroka-san said that you could lay waste to everyone and everything that exists in this forest with a single glance. It was rude of me to come up with assumptions about someone."
"Well, that's Kuroka-san being Kuroka-san. She is a naughty cat. You don't owe me an apology, uh?"
Le Fay stared at Asia looking for something to call her while pressing a finger in front of her lips which caused the older blonde to bow her head.
"Hello, my name is Asia Argento."
"My name is Le Fay Pendragon, Asia-sama."
Both of them introduced themselves to one another and shook hands causing Kazuki to smile at Asia's ability to befriend people, but her last name caught his attention. However, he had left that side for now as Le Fay allowed them all to enter the resident causing Kazuki and Asia to notice that the inside was almost spotless, which could be due to the housework of Le Fay. Inside of the living room, there was a single person there sitting on the couch holding a book in their hand as two ornate appearing long swords rested near him.
"…."
The first thing that Kazuki noticed was that he was a blonde-haired spectacled young man who seemed far older than him and Asia, but not by much dressed in a business suit without the blazer on. He didn't appear to register their presence and seems more focused on what he was reading, while a cup of what seemed to be tea was placed on the table next to him.
More than anything else, he looked related to Le Fay and his suspicions were answered as she walked happily towards him.
"Onii-sama, Kuroka-san arrived with Kazuki Hyoudou-sama and his friend, Asia Argento-sama."
Le Fay said as she leaned on the back of the couch, where the person now identified as her older brother been.
After placing a bookmark on the page where he was and despite being interrupted, he didn't even seem to be the tiniest bit annoyed and instead glanced toward Le Fay with a smile.
"Thanks for letting me know Le Fay."
Despite seeming to be the serious type at first impression he affectionately smiled toward Le Fay, in which a kind older brother would do. He then turned toward Asia and Kazuki with the same kind of smile that he showed to his little sister.
"Hello, I am Arthur Pendragon. It's a pleasure to meet you Hakuryuukou-dono and Argento-dono."
Arthur bowed to them in a gentlemanly manner.
"Uh, it's nice to meet you too."
"Hello."
Both him and Asia returned the greeting, but hearing Arthur Pendragon caused him to recall all the legends that he heard about King Arthur and Excalibur, as well as his little sister causing him to believe that the two of them might be related to him. But, Arthur soon continued to stare at him as if in an attempt to examine him.
"Though it's sort of faint, I can notice that you've been trained in martial arts in some way and I can feel sense dragon aura from you. Vali did talk about you being someone who could become a potential rival for him in the future and knowing our leader that's praiseworthy enough."
"You should probably know Kazuki-kun, but Arthur's Vali's right-hand man. And also an extremely powerful holy sword wielder."
Kuroka said as she jumped onto the couch and crossing her legs in a relaxed manner.
"Holy Sword wielder."
"I believe that you at least heard about the Holy Sword, Excalibur in some stories even in Japan."
"Yes, I heard a lot about those kinds of swords and I heard about the actual ones from a friend of mine at school who happens to be a pure-blood devil."
"Well, I believe that you would hear a lot more about them from soon."
"I guess, but shouldn't there be one more…."
"So, this is the Hakuryuukou."
Kazuki was shocked as he had heard a sudden male's voice from behind him without even noticing his presence, causing him to move Asia from the side. Standing behind them was a snickering young man with short light-colored hair dressed in Chinese armor from the Three Kingdom era. The unknown young man continued to stare at him in a jovial fashion with his hands behind his head.
"Hehehe, I didn't think that the Hakuryuukou would look like this at all. At least you don't have weak qualities and could become a strong enough sparring partner with enough training."
Kazuki didn't know what to think about this person after conversing with him, but he didn't sound mean, but a little bit vulgar almost like Freed without being a psychopath. Arthur sighed a bit after hearing that from the young man donned in Chinese armor.
"This is Bikou, a descendant to the Monkey King, Sun Wukong. Don't mind him and his jovial manner of speaking in regards to that he's similar to Kuroka."
"Don't compare me to that monkey, Arthur nyaa!"
Kuroka almost felt insulted after being compared to Bikou as Kazuki felt almost overwhelmed about the number of various teammates that Vali had.
"A rare nekoshou. Two descendants of King Arthur and Morgan Le Fay. And also a descendant of Sun Wukong," he surmised in his head. "Well, I guess that's he has the same unique tastes as Azazel, but why did he gather all these people together."
As that thought entered his mind, the door opened again revealing a silver-haired young man who was at least a little bit older than Kazuki at least by a year and hazel eyes; dressed in a dark green V-neck, a high-colored black leather jacket, burgundy jeans with a silver chain drooping over them, black leather chaps with three bands which encircles his right calf, and black shoes with black buckles. This person was Vali, but Kazuki didn't know what his last name was.
"Hmm, I think that it's been almost over a year since the last time we met," Vali said wearing a slight smirk on his face. "And I see you brought Asia Argento, the blonde nun that Azazel was interested in due to her sacred gear, as a result of its healing abilities."
"Is that a problem?"
"Not at all. That makes things easier since if you get injured in the middle of training then she'd be able to heal them. And with Kuroka here, it'll be possible to deal with internal damage and stamina," Vali said as he glanced toward Kazuki who seemed a little worried. "Don't look worried, the training won't be so intense that it will end up killing you."
"Well, that's reassuring enough."
"You'll be individually training with everyone here," Vali explained before pointing at all the people currently inside of the room. "Arthur will be responsible for sword training for the first day. Bikou will be responsible for hand-to-hand combat and physical training on the second day. Le Fay and Kuroka will be responsible for magic training. I will be responsible for sacred gear and combat training for the fourth day. And then on the fifth day, you'll be able to reflect on the training and do whatever."
"So, I'll be training with everyone here."
"It sounds reasonable enough. Each person here specializes most in some of the things that you've been learning such as martial arts including kendo and even magic."
Hearing that from Vali made sense to him, he's been practicing different martial arts since entering middle school and even started learning more about magic after deciding to become apart of the supernatural world.
"So, I'll be training with Arthur-san first?"
"Yes, after getting situated in the room," Arthur advised. "Le Fay, could you please show Hakuryuukou-dono and Argento-dono to their room?"
"Alright, Onii-sama."
Le Fay cheerfully said as she directed both Kazuki and Asia to follow her upstairs leading toward the room, which both of them would be residing in. Soon after, he got dressed for his first training session with Arthur.
Lesson 1: Sword Training with Arthur
"Hah."
Kazuki made a swing toward Arthur using a bokuto, the latter remained standing in the same spot also wielding a bokuto in one of his hands. He made a slight motion of the bokuto in his hand and deflected the strike without an instance of trying at all. It has been almost an hour as he trained with Arthur and there wasn't the slightest beat of sweat on the blonde-haired young man's forehead. Kazuki also found it odd that he was dressed in formal attire despite training, although he did take off his blazer.
"It doesn't take a genius to realize that this guy is several leagues above Kiba," Kazuki thought in his heads. "But, I'd at least want to get one hit in."'
Asia and Le Fay watched their training session on the sidelines watching as Kazuki made several slashes aimed at Arthur who continued to deflect each of them without trying. Both the female blondes were conversing with one another while watching them train.
"Wow, Le Fay-san, you're brother is amazing. I haven't seen Kazuki-san have this much trouble before."
"Hehehehe~ Of course, Onii-sama want is the chosen wielder of one of the strongest holy swords," Le Fay stated as she laughed. "All Onii-sama cares about aside from me, is finding a strong opponent that he can use Caliburn against, which was one of the reasons that he joined Vali-sama."
"I see. But, why did you join Le Fay-san."
"Well, I belonged to a magician's association named Golden Dawn, but I didn't leave because I wanted to fight far stronger people. I was just concerned about Onii-sama and left with him, but Onii-sama was worried that I might end up getting hurt during out travels and it took a lot of convincing to let me join him."
"Ahhh, having a sibling must be amazing."
Asia said as she felt touched about the concern that the siblings displayed towards one another while wondering about what it would feel like to have a sibling. Both of their attention towards the practicing swordsmen as Kazuki was still unable to even land a single strike on the more experienced swordsman.
"You're impressive," Arthur said with a slight smile as he continued blocking or parrying his strikes. "I can tell that you've been taking your training in self-defense martial arts and swordsmanship seriously. More so towards your skills in kendo, what kind of instructor are you training under?"
"I train under our current Kendo Club Advisor named Kaito Murakami, an old man but everyone in the club loves and adores him like a genuine swordmaster and grandfather."
Once those words left his mouth, Kazuki rushed forward toward Arthur making another slash aimed at him, but it was averted by the blonde-haired swordsman. It was followed up by him moving before Kazuki at a speed that he'd be incapable of using Divine Dividing's light wings at the moment, then pointed the bokuto at his neck.
"You're dead," Arthur said as Kazuki's bokuto landed on the ground causing a notable sound. "It's obvious that at the moment you're not that the level where you can defeat a Middle-Class of High-Class Devil and your skills are still in the developing process, but I don't doubt that you'll be able to advance with more training."
Arthur explained in a tone that displayed genuine care that one would hear from a normal instructor, which soon caused them to sit on the ground minutes later. The four of them started having a picnic on top of a blanket which was laid out on the grass with a basket filled with various sandwiches inside of it and two different thermoses filled with two different drinks.
"Wow, this is delicious."
Kazuki said as he ate one of the sandwiches inside of the picnic basket.
"I was making lunch when Asia-sama arrived inside of the kitchen, while Kazuki-sama was getting dressed for his training. I didn't want a guest of ours to assist in the kitchen but Asia-sama had insisted and we were able to make these together," Le Fay said showing how much fun she had cooked with Asia. "I heard from Kuroka-san that Asia-sama originally came from the Church and acting as the Holy Maiden so I wasn't expecting that you would be this great at cooking."
"I've been undergoing the 'Hyoudou Special Bride Training' under Kazuki-san's Okaa-san," Asia stated cheerfully much to the dismay of Kazuki who laughed wryly. "Okaa-san helped me learn how to cook and said that I might even learn the Hyoudou Style Cooking."
"Ah, is Kazuki-sama and Asia-sama getting married?"
In response to hearing that Kazuki coughed after drinking from the tea from the thermos that Asia gave him while the latter blushed a deep shade of red.
"I-I mean it was talked about by Okaa-san and Otou-san, but I wouldn't mind being married to Kazuki-san."
"That would romantic getting married to the person who rescued you from fallen angels," Le Fay said seeming to have almost swooned at the thought of that. "Being brought into his home and being given all of the things that you could've only dreamed up and eventually the two of you got married."
"My it sounds almost as if you're imaging herself in that situation."
Arthur joked causing Le Fay's face to turn a bright red after hearing that from her older brother, which in turn also caused her to turn her attention toward the sandwich in her hands. Seeing that caused Arthur to laugh something that most wouldn't expect from someone as serious looking at him.
"Hakuryuukou-dono…."
"Uh, Kazuki is fine."
"Then Kazuki-san, I believe that I noticed something irregular about the kendo that your instructor taught you."
"Huh, what do you mean?"
"It was faint, but I believe that the kendo that you're using has some reminiscence to actual swordsmanship," Arthur stated causing Kazuki some more confusion. "It was supple but the manner that you held your sword and the posture that you took seems different from actual kendo and instead of old swordsmanship. I was curious about whether or not the same students were leading the same thing."
"Uh, well I train in the same thing, but there are some times when Kaito-sensei train me in some things after the other club members left," Kazuki said as he thought back to the moment that he joined the Kendo Club. "Though, that could be due to my wanting to learn something more than just kendo as he said once after leaving from our club once. Since I did previously already have the desire to become stronger than I was before. I didn't think that it would've been actual old swordsmanship."
"Well, I'm more interested in knowing more about this 'Kaito Murakami' doesn't appear to be a normal instructor," Arthur said being more interested in Kazuki's Kendo Club Advisor as shown by the smile on his face. "To be able to instruct someone in old swordsmanship in a fashion where they'd be able to develop their sword style on their own without needing to learn the entire style completely."
Hearing that from Arthur caused him to wonder more about Kaito since there wasn't much that a lot of the club members knew about him since he didn't talk much about his past to them. Though that didn't matter since all of them liked his overall personality since he reminded them of a grandfather and an actual caring master.
"Well, there are certainly some interesting things about the unknown swordsmanship that this 'Kaito-sensei' had decided to use as the foundation for yours. You haven't noticed it yet, but there's something else about the particular style that you're using that'll be interesting in the future."
"Huh," Kazuki was confused about what he heard from Arthur, but based on the smile that was on his face there was no way that he was going to tell him. "Well, I guess that I'll be training more to figure that out for myself."
"Of course, I believe that we should get back to that in a couple of minutes after the break."
"Sounds like a plan."
Both of them agreed to continue sword training after finishing their break.
Lesson 2: Sparring with Bikou
"Hah!"
Kazuki let out a loud voice as he aimed a straight punch toward Bikou who avoided it by jumping over Kazuki in a manner that seemed over the top. Before he landed behind him, he aimed a kick towards Bikou who avoided it in the air without trying similar to Arthur from the other day. But, when compared to the blonde-haired swordsman, the monkey youkai he was training with had a pension for irritating him.
"Come on! Come on! You gotta try harder than that Mr. Goody-Goody."
Bikou laughed as he landed upside down on the ground performing a single handstand.
Kazuki rushed at Bikou directing a low kick towards his arm, but without trying, he pushed himself up in the air as he landed on the ground. Once again, he rushed toward Bikou aiming several different punches and kicks at him, but each of them was avoided by the monkey youkai. Despite the annoyance that he had toward him neither of the strikes was done out of anger since it wouldn't accomplish anything.
"Huh, you might be weak, but you put a lot of effort into learning martial arts at an exceptional enough level," Bikou said as he avoided a punch aimed at him. "But, that won't be enough to survive in our world."
Having said those words, Bikou grabbed Kazuki by his arm, then launched him over his shoulder causing him to land on the ground resulting in a slight grunt to escape from his mouth. Upon seeing that, Asia who watched the entire sparring session ran over toward him worried.
"Are you alright, Kazuki-san?"
"Y-Yea."
Kazuki had said feeling a certain amount of pain coming from his back, then he started to sit back up after being launched like that by Bikou. After seeing him in pain like that, Asia wanted to use her Twilight Healing, but it was shot down by him who waved his hand seeing no reason for her to use her powers for something this minor.
"Well, sparring end for the moment. Next, we'll be going to muscle training," Bikou stated before pointing towards Kazuki who was now sitting on the ground. "So keep doing push-ups until I say stop."
"…seriously."
"Seriously."
After seeing the 'serious' look on Bikou's face, Kazuki rolled his eyes and started doing push-ups finding no issue since it wouldn't be the first time that he has done them on his own. Asia stood nearby watching as he continued to do push-ups as Bikou seemed more to be paying attention. Several minutes passed as Kazuki continued to do push-ups that reached passed the 200 hundred as his muscles seem to be almost to the point of giving out as sweat started to drip from his forehead.
"I can feel my muscles started to hurt…."
"Uh, Kazuki-san," Asia seemed worried then turned toward Bikou who was laying back in a tree. "Uh, Bikou-san, I think that Kazuki-san is too tired to continue!"
Asia said not caring what would happen to her if she interrupting him, but due to that Bikou reacted almost as if he had been asleep the entire time. Not, he was asleep the entire time.
"H-Huh, what happened? Oh, right I forget. You can stop."
After hearing those words from him, Kazuki fell to the ground and turned around so that he was on his back.
"Huff huff, I-I hate…you."
"Hahaha, don't give me that attitude. I'll give ya a little break to make things better."
"If I could pick up my hands, I'd shoot at him using magic."
Just as Bikou said, Kazuki was given a short break for several minutes before continuing training once again this time continuing muscle training.
Lesson 3: Magic Training with Le Fay and Kuroka
It was on the fourth day of training with both Le Fay and Kuroka, but this time, Asia also joined in on their training due to her wanting to be more useful aside from being a healer. All of them went outside at a separate area from the other training areas where there were two desks, a teacher's desk, and a dry erase board placed in the same area; with Kazuki questioning where these things came from.
Both Kazuki and Asia sat behind the two separate desks waiting for the magic lessons to start with Asia being all too excited about learning magic. Though the younger blonde-haired girl stood in front of the dry erase board a little tense about the idea of teaching someone about magic, and the lone black-haired nekomata was nowhere to be seen.
"Uh, Le Fay-sensei," Kazuki said in a joking manner but Le Fay seemed more embarrassed now than ever as she heard those words. "Sorry about that, but where's Kuroka-san?"
"Uh, I don't know. She said that she needed some last-minute preparations before starting the magic lesson."
Le Fay added not knowing what she would do alone with them as acting a magic instructor to two people who're older than herself, but those concerns were eliminated as a voice could be heard.
"Sorry, did I make you all wait long?"
Hearing the voice belonging to the lone black-haired woman caused them to turn toward her direction.
"…."
"…."
"…."
All three of them were shocked about what Kuroka was wearing at the moment, which was that of a high school teacher that seemed to show off her feminine build with fake glasses, and the upper portion of her dress shirt also unbuttoned showing off her black bra and cleavage.
"K-Kuroka-san what're you wearing?"
"Huh, I thought that it was appropriate attire for someone acting as a teacher."
Kuroka answered the young blonde-haired magician who blushed as the black-haired nekomata began to move around her hips sensually intentionally as she walked toward Kazuki. He was unable to speak a single word in this situation as Kuroka traced on of her fingers across the table in front of him.
"So, Hyoudou-kun," Kuroka was even speaking in a tone that a teacher attempting to seduce one of their students would use. "It might be unfair to the other student attempting to learn this lesson, but I believe that I have enough time to spare after classes to give you some private lessons."
"Uh, I guess that could help."
He replied as his face was flushed from the situation in front of him, which had caused Kuroka to make a cat-like smile as she dragged her finger under his chin.
"Well, maybe I can provide other services to my potential favorite student."
"Uh, Kuroka-san, I believe that it would be better that we start the lesson."
After hearing Le Fay's suggestion, Kuroka winked at Kazuki before turning around giving him a better view of her rear end as she walked toward the dry erase board.
"A-Ah…ouch ouch ouch."
Kazuki felt an intense pain at his side as he noticed Asia pinching his arm, while her cheeks were inflated before she turned back toward the front.
"Hahaha, I somehow made Asia-san mad again. But, even like this, she's adorable."
Kazuki thought as he smiled wryly.
"Kuroka-san, how should we start this lesson?"
Le Fay questioned further showing that she had no experience with teaching others about using magic but realized that Kuroka might not take it seriously either.
"Well, I guess that we should first explain what magic is nya~"
Kuroka suggested caused Le Fay to nod her head in a refreshed manner feeling at least confident that she could be able to do that. She then grabbed the black dry erase marker and started writing a bunch of different magical symbols and equations on the board before setting it down.
"Ahem, first off I hope that both Kazuki-sama and Asia-sama would be patient with me since this is the first time that I've taught someone about magic," at her request, both Kazuki and Asia nodded their heads in an understanding manner causing the younger girl to let out a sigh of relief. "Okay, second Kuroka-san, and I will explain the difference between magic and demonic power."
"I'll handle the latter, demonic power is something that you use to turn one's imagination into an actual form," the first person to explain it was Kuroka as she formed demonic power around her fingers turning into letters reading 'Kuroka x Kazuki' causing the lone male to laugh slightly. "Demonic power requires both the power to create and good senses, letting a pure-blood or reincarnated devil to create supernatural phenomena such as lightning and to even create their special abilities."
"Magic, however, is the knowledge to control equations and formulas to make supernatural phenomena," Le Fay added as she made a magic circle in her hands making fire. "There are simple ones that can execute feats such as warming up coffee and even complex phenomena that even demonic power is unable to perform, but the number of magicians able to do that is extremely rare. Of course, the same thing could be said about magic since there are things magicians can't produce, but demonic power can."
Both of them gave their separate explanations about demonic power and magic, both of which was something he already somewhat heard from Sona once. But, it was better that Asia heard that and he had received a refresher on that subject.
"Kazuki-kun has a natural talent of using magic, but the same could also be said about Asia-chan," Kuroka said in an interested tone much to the former nun's surprise. "I believe that if Asia-chan was reincarnated into a devil, then a bishop would be the most perfect position for her. Of course, this makes teaching her magic much easier than teaching someone without that talent."
"What kind of magic could I learn? At most, before I could form barriers around places."
"Well, I believe that with enough training here. I think that Asia-same would be able to learn elemental magic and learning more about defensive magic," Le Fay explained. "But, there are other kinds of magic out there around the different factions so I think that it would be best that Kazuki-sama and Asia-sama expand their knowledge as much as possible if the situation comes around."
"But, first here comes to the boring part of being a teacher."
Having said those words, Kuroka summoned a magic circle in front of them causing at least three magic books to appear in front of them.
"Since Kazuki-sama knows basic magics, the books that he has have more average magic. While I believe that starting Asia-sama on more basic magic would be beneficial and if Kazuki-sama would find with it, he could teach her the magic he learned."
"I'll learn as much as I can here!"
Asia said feeling invigorated about learning more about magic, which caused Kazuki to feel proud of her.
"If either of you needs help, then I can assist you as best as I can."
"If Kazuki-kun needs some help, then I can motivate him to get stronger."
"Eh, if I receive 'motivation' from Kuroka-san, then I don't think that I would be able to concentrate."
Kazuki surmised thinking back to the last time that Kuroka motivated him, but then opened the first book in front of him and started going through its contents. Their magic lessons continued quietly with Asia needing some help in understanding some of the formulas and calculations written in the books. Finding all the quiet boring, Kuroka at some point started leaning against Kazuki to give him advice, which in actuality was an excuse for her to push her abundant chest against his back. This made a little difficult for him to focus on.
Lesson 4: Combat/Sacred Gear Training with Vali
On the fourth day, it was Kazuki's most terrifying moment of his training with the Vali Team, which would be both his combat and sacred gear training with their leader. He was in another location further from the house that has a stronger barrier around it making him more worried about what would be happening this time.
"Well, I'm interested in seeing what you learned during this time."
Vali stood in front of him looking as confident as before, while Asia including the other members of the Vali Team was awaiting in preparation to watch the match behind a barrier. Based on the expression on her face, Asia also seemed concerned about his safety since it would be an actual fight between them instead of simple training. But Kazuki a distance from Vali waiting to see the first move that the team's leader would make.
"Huh, waiting for the first move," Vali smirked and held out his hand. "Well, I can't blame you for being cautious. If you charged in blindly then it might cost you."
In the silver-haired male's hand, a silver radiance formed an orb far larger than anything that Kazuki could create at the moment. After noticing the subtlest motions from Vali's hand, he created a defensive magical circle in front of him as it sailed toward him at high-speed. As soon as it came into contact with the magic circle, he noticed that it started breaking apart then summoned Divine Dividing and flew into the skies as a large explosion occurred.
"Ugh."
Kazuki crossed his arms in front of him as he could feel the shock wave produced by the blast, which left behind a crater from the impact.
"That's just insane."
Vali appeared in front of Kazuki flying in front of him seemingly with magic, then aimed a sharp kick at him, which the latter crossed his arms. Despite blocking the attack, it sent him crashing toward the ground causing a stinging pain coming from his arms. Kazuki managed to regain his footing using the light wings but noticed a bright silver radiance in front of him. It didn't take him long to realize that Vali releases several blasts toward him not giving him a single inch.
Kazuki made several defensive magic circles in front of him, but he realized that neither of them would be able to withstand the blasts. He then using his light wings to fly at high-speed avoiding the rain of magic blasts that were raining down at him. The moment that magical blasts came in contact with the defensive magic, all of them broke in seconds without much resistance.
"Well, you're reaction was excellent enough."
Vali praised as he landed on the ground then moved his hand towards him releasing the same silver radiance as before, but as he was going to move. From the three sides around him, magic circles with unfamiliar symbols had appeared sealing off all his escape options meaning that he had no other option but to remain there. Without him hesitating at all, Vali released a magic blast toward Kazuki at an almost higher speed than before.
Acting quick on his feet, Kazuki formed several defensive magic circles in front of him, while raising his physical abilities using reinforcement magic.
[I know what you're thinking, but this is almost too reckless for you.]
"Yea, this sounds almost like something that Nii-san would do, but I don't have many options since he sealed off the option of me flying out of here too."
[Well, it's fine as long as you don't die.]
"Got it."
As the attack was sailing toward him breaking through the first couple of defensive magic circles, Kazuki spread out his light wings and pointed his hands toward it. The moment that it came into contact with him, he could feel both his hand started to be damaged from the attack.
"Argh!"
"Kazuki-san!"
Asia said looking worried about him as she noticed the wounds that
Kazuki felt himself being pushed back, but he stood his ground and activated Divide Dividing's famed ability.
[Divide!]
Using Divine Dividing, Kazuki divided the magic blast from the attack, but the attack was still pushing him back a bit. However, he remained standing holding back the attack as the 20 seconds passed letting him use 'Divide' two more times, then released a burst of magic that split the magic blast that Vali released. His physical abilities still being enhanced by reinforcement magic, Kazuki rushed toward Vali with sudden vigor causing him to smirk a bit after seeing the sudden forward strike.
Kazuki turned himself around aiming a spinning kick toward Vali who stepped back to avoid it, but Kazuki added a front forward kick after managing to get in front of him again. But, his front leg was grabbed by the silver-haired youth who threw Kazuki over him causing him to fall toward the ground. Using his light wings again, he was able to regain his balance, then summoned a magic circle in front of him releasing fireballs toward Vali.
All of the fireballs were blocked using another magic barrier, then Kazuki moved to the side releasing light blasts in his direction. Seeing this caused Vali to smirk as he releasing another blast that destroyed all of them.
"Light, huh," Vali said in a wondering tone. "Well, that was an interesting choice."
"I've known about devils for a long time and I'm friends with a lot of them. Did you believe that I wouldn't be able to notice demonic blasts being fired at me?"
The others in the Vali Team all appeared impressed about his sudden deduction from Kazuki not thinking that he would be able to figure it out.
"Hahaha, I didn't think that the goody-goody would be able to figure that out."
"Hmm, being talented and intelligent are amazing qualities."
"Kazuki-sama has impressed me again."
"I'd expect nothing less from the future father of my children."
"H-Huh, Kuroka-san," Asia was shocked about how casually she declared that but none of her teammates looked surprised about that. "W-Why would you…?"
"The nekoshou are on the brink of going extinct," Kuroka answered as she glanced towards Kazuki. "So, to solve it, I want to have strong children preferably with a dragon and I asked Vali once and he turned me down. Then I met Kazuki-kun and he met all the perfect qualities of being the father of my children nyaa~"
Kuroka said that last part in an almost singsong tone causing Asia to pout in response to hearing that, which the black-haired nekomata noticed and smiled like the cat she was.
"You know, Asia-chan. People who're known to possess dragon-type sacred gears especially the Two Heavenly Dragons are known to form harems. No doubt that Kazuki-kun does have feelings for you," hearing that caused a deep shade of red to dust Asia's cheeks. "I could see Asia-chan being Kazuki-kun's number one."
"…."
Hearing that caused Asia's face to turn completely red as steam seemed to come out from her head thinking about what Kuroka had said.
"I'm surprised that you were able to figure out I was a devil."
"That's one thing, but I noticed that you're demonic power is far above both Sona-senpai and Rias-senpai who're both high-class devils and sisters of the current maou."
"Well, I'll keep that little detail a secret for now alongside the other thing."
"The other thing?"
"I'll leave that to your imagination, but I'm sure that Albion of all people realized it," Vali mentioned causing said white dragon to remain silent within his current host. "Well, why don't we continue with the training?"
Vali said as he releasing another blast of silver demonic power as both he and Kazuki continued with training without the latter being able to land a single hit on him.
"Ouch ouch ouch ouch."
Kazuki mumbled as he sat in his assigned bedroom as Asia sat next to him healing the injuries that he sustained from fighting against Vali. Unlike the others including Bikou, Vali didn't hold back in ensuring that he was far more superior to Kazuki in basically all existing categories.
"He's got much higher physical, magical, and combat abilities than anything I've fought so far," Kazuki said as all of the members of the Vali Team entered his mind. "I can't think of anyone in Kuoh Academy that even comes close to matching either of them in a fight at the moment. I guess that's the kind of strength and skills that comes with experiencing real-like combat."
"I'm sure that Kazuki-san will become that strong in the future," Asia said in a reassuring tone. "No, I believe that Kazuki-san will become stronger than anything."
"Thanks, Asia-san. Talking to you makes me feel better."
"I'm happy about that."
Asia's bright smile and comment caused him to feel far better than before, but there was still a hint of exhaustion that remained from the intense training with Vali.
"So, what kind of process did you make training with Le Fay-san?"
Kazuki questioned recalling that after the initial lesson, both her and Asia continued talking to one another almost taking an immediate friendly interest in one another.
"Le Fay-san and I talked a lot about different things. I was able to learn a lot from her."
Asia replied in a happier tone as she held out her hand, a magic circle was soon formed in her hands, as a small flame was developed in her hands.
"That's great, Asia-san."
"I wanted to be more useful to Kazuki-san and not just being a healer, especially after everything you've done for me already. I'll always be there to support Kazuki-san no matter what."
"…Asia-san."
Kazuki and Asia had stared at one another in silence, he looked into her green eyes and she looked in his brown eyes. There was soon the unconscious motion of their heads as the two leaned toward one another, which none of them could explain. It was just that they wanted to—
"Smooch~"
Suddenly, Kuroka appeared in front of him resting her head on her hands as she puckered her lips in a manner, which appeared she was going to kiss someone. Seeing this caused both Kazuki and Asia to stop as Kuroka was staring at them wearing a cat-like smile.
"What you aren't going to kiss nyaa~?"
""Ahhhhh!""
In response to that, Kazuki and Asia screamed not noticing that had entered the bedroom even going as far as to hide her presence completely.
"How boring. I thought that Kazuki-kun and Asia-chan were going to kiss in front of me."
"W-When did you even come in here?"
"Huh? It was at the time where you and Asia-chan were staring at each other lovingly. I wanted nothing more to see the two of you sharing a kiss."
"W-We were going to share a kiss."
Asia mumbled sadly as she glanced to the side pouting at the interruption.
"Aw, I didn't mean to interrupt Asia-chan's time with Kazuki-kun."
Kazuki stared at Kuroka as she continued to 'console' Asia who still seemed to be pouting to herself and there's a lot that he couldn't understand about what he previously heard.
"Huh? What, Kazuki did you fall for me?"
"I was just thinking about something."
"About what nyaa~?"
"Did you kill your master?"
Hearing that caused Kuroka's expression to become more confused almost breaking free from her usual casual tone if not for a couple of seconds.
"Yea didn't you hear from my dear Shirone," Kuroka said in a matter of fact tone. "I lost control and then became drunk on my powers then killed my master. I'm sure that's common knowledge among the Underworld since I am an SS-Class criminal."
"I don't buy that."
"…huh?"
Kuroka was genuinely surprised about that comment almost as if it was the first time that she's heard that from a person who knew about her past.
"Indeed, I haven't known you for all that long, but I know that you aren't a bad person at all. Though, I believe that you're kind of a vulgar woman," Kazuki said as he smiled. "I know that there's a lot of High-Class Devils who aren't the definition of perfect or kind to their servants like Rias-senpai and Sona-senpai. Most of them treat their servants as lower beings compared to them and even mistreats them, but due to the Underworld's hierarchy, a lot of the officials tend to favor the high-class devils rather than the servant. Though, I don't know how the current Four Maou feels about the situation. If anything, I think that you were trying to protect…."
Shove!
Kuroka shoved Kazuki onto the bed and got on top of him causing him and Asia to blush from the sight alone, but the black-haired woman smiled and stared at him with her hazel eyes as a faint blush dusted her cheeks. Due to the angle, her yukata started to come undone revealing her abundant chest.
"You shouldn't tell women that Kazuki-kun," Kuroka whispered in his ears as she leaned forward with her breasts being pressed against his chest. "I told you before that If you keep talking to me and telling me things like that, then I might become far more serious than I was before."
Having said those words, Kuroka leaned forward pressing her lips against his cheek causing Asia to pout due to her previous attempt to kiss him was interrupted. Kazuki then started feeling more invigorated than he was prior but could tell that it was likely due to Kuroka using senjutsu on him.
"Kazuki-sama, Asia-sama dinner is…aah, Kuroka-san."
Le Fay walked inside the room to inform them about dinner but stopped after noticing that Kuroka was on top of Kazuki while Asia was sitting on the side with her cheeks blushed.
"I'll come back later."
Her face blushed on the same level as Asia, Le Fay exited the room after waving her hand.
"W-Wait, this isn't what it…."
"Well, let's have a little more fun~"
Kuroka whispered in his ear again as she teasingly licked his neck causing him to shutter.
Lesson 5: Free time
Seeing that today was his free time, Kazuki was inside the forested area lying back in the grass as he stared into the blue skies thinking. Asia was sitting nearby diligently going through one of the magic books she had received from Le Fay as research material. Kazuki, on the other hand, was thinking about all the training that he had been undergoing since first arriving here.
[Did you think about something?]
"Yea, in terms of swordsmanship, there's no chance that I can rival Arthur at the moment and there's something I need to figure out about mine. I'm still lacking in physical abilities and even hand-to-hand combat still needs to be improved. There's still a lot I need to learn about magic and Divine Dividing as shown during all the 'training' that Vali had put me through. By the way, did you notice something about him as he said?"
[I felt a presence inside of him that was familiar, no it wasn't just that, there was something else that had given me a sense of nostalgia. And if I'm correct about them, then Vali might end up becoming one of the strongest beings there is. Such as ridiculous existence.]
"Well, I could tell from just him using his demonic power that he's either trained a lot or he comes from some kind of famous high-class household," Kazuki surmised as he continued to thing. "If I want to be able to fight against him soon, then I'll need some improvements. I'll need to gain balance breaker in the future."
[You make it sound as if it'll be an easy task. Balance Breaker is the ultimate state that sacred gears can reach, a power able to distort the flow of the world itself. More so, for Longinus users, balance breaker is something that'll be a dangerous power to awaken.] Albion started before laughing a little. [Though, knowing you that might be possible for you. Though, I believe you have something planned before attempting to reach that state.]
"Well, it's not something a normal person would think of, but I'm sure that you know that I've been reading about a lot of different legends since finding out the supernatural world. And there's one that gave me a little hint about a solution to my issue. And it brought me back to our little discussion from before."
[Huh? Well, that sounds interesting what did you have in mind?]
"First, I need to make a little bit of insurance," Kazuki said as he started to walk toward Asia. "Asia-san, I need a favor. Could you go and get Kuroka-san and Le Fay-san for me?"
"Huh? Of course."
Asia said cheerfully as she left the book on the ground, then started to head off in the direction of their instructors' current residence.
"This little solution might end up going wrong," Kazuki said to Albion after seeing that Asia was out of reading for her to hear him. "I'm not going to lie, there's a lot of things that can go wrong during this process, which is why I want to discuss it with Le Fay-san first. And if something does go wrong, I want Kuroka-san to be here as support."
[Well, let's hear this idea first.]
Albion said feeling a little interested in what this 'solution' was, which caused Kazuki to started going through the idea together with his partner who listened intently.
A/N: And there goes chapter ten of The Twin Dragons, well this chapter showed a little more interactions between Kazuki and Asia including a little 'interesting' scene happening in the bath. Their little black cat was soon revealed to be one of our favorite nekomata, Kuroka. There was also the training that he had to undergo with the Vali Team, which seemed to fit with Kazuki. Asia also learned a little more about magic from Le Fay, which will be useful in the future. Kazuki appears to have a solution to solve his little health issue and that'll be revealed in the future.
Well, I'd like to thank the people who're being patient with the redoing of The Twin Dragons and I'd like to apologize for the confusion that it's causing others. If anyone who's reading this update, I found out that I still have the original chapters that I was replaced with the updates and if anyone would like to read the old chapters, I could upload them on the DxD Fanon site if you'd like.
Also, I have been thinking about doing a RWBY story since most of the stories that I do is usually based around High School DxD.
