Welcome to the next chapter of The Twin Dragons, but before starting. Let us answer some reviews:
Guest: Yeah, Ravel would make a good Vice President despite being a first-year.
Guest 2: Thanks for the compliment. Yeah, either of them would make a good Vice President. As a first-year, she's not that experienced around the school and in the Human World in general. But, at the same time, she would be an amazing Club President. At the same time, she is rather intelligent and can get used to things much faster in comparison to other people. Raynare is a good choice too in the sense, seeing as she is rather sociable and has been a student for much longer. It also draws a comparison between Akeno as a Fallen Angel being the Vice President alongside Kazuki, a Reincarnated Angel, and having that dynamic.
1. I have been thinking about those, seeing as a Newspaper Club is in charge of writing certain things and editing things for the paper, in addition to taking much-needed photos.
2. I'm sure that would be hilarious to have Irina in charge of their finances, more so, if there's someone such as Ravel to aid them.
3. Well, there are the two women who were interested in or became interested in him before or after their Rating Game.
4. Well, Serafall will be Serafall, which might not be good for Kazuki. XD

Sports Festival Prep
It has been a few days since Irina and Ravel transferred, both of whom started to acclimate to the school life with some assistance from those experienced there. It didn't take that long until the formation of their Newspaper Club became known around the entire school. More so, due to the people who started the club, it started gaining more notoriety. However, the newspaper started circulating the school, informing about noteworthy information about school activities and opening up advice parts that the students could submit under proper aliases.
At the moment—
"Yes yes! I will do the scavenger hunt!"
Irina excitedly declared, raising her hand in the air.
Irina, who was more sociable and excitable compared to Ravel quickly settled into the class among the boys and girls. Of course, she and Ravel would be residing in the Hyoudou Mansion, with their rooms being prepared much more ahead of time. During homeroom, the students were deciding on who would be participating in the Sports Festival, some of the students were excited about it, whereas some like Issei were laying their heads on his desk. In his mind, there was an increase in women around him, though most of them were more situated towards living with his younger brother. But, that didn't change the fact their numbers were increasing.
There were some times when the girls in their group were in a conversation with one another, but Issei had no idea of what to do in that situation. It was almost worse when it was in their own home when he couldn't get into the conversations between Xenovia, Koneko, Rias, and Akeno, all of whom would be one another at a certain point. As Issei was thinking about that, Aika, who was writing down the activities
"Hm, there's the three-legged race next. So, who wants to do this one?"
Aika asked as it looked as if the students didn't know who would end up doing that one.
"Hm, I'll do it."
Kazuki replied, raising his hand in the air.
"Alright, we have Kazuki as the first running. So, who'll be…."
"I'll do it too!"
Asia replied, energetically, but at the same time timidly.
"Alright, we have our adorable Asia-chan acting as Kazuki's partner in the three-legged race. Oh, I wonder if those two are partners in other ways~"
Aika stated, as she wrote down the names of the students who would be entered in the particular sports events, then continued. In response to that, Asia almost felt herself becoming bashful at the comment more than normal considering that it wasn't false. But, for those unaware of that fact chalked it up to Aika being her usual self and didn't go into any other thought about it.
"Uh, Asia-chan gets to be with Kazu-chan for the three-legged race."
Irina seemed almost miffed about that but didn't look all that serious about the comment. Hearing that though did, of course, make Asia feel apologetic and, at the same time, looking forward to the three-legged race.
"Alright, next there's the Sack Race," Aika stated, looking around before moving her attention over toward Issei with a mischievous smile. "Hyoudou, there's a tear under your armpit."
"Eh? Seriously?"
Issei looked confused about that, having not seen a tear under it when he put it on, not that he focused attention on that sometimes. To accomplish that, he raised his arm inadvertently to check underneath his armpit to find a tear that wasn't there
"Yes! It's decided! Hyoudou is doing the Sack Race!"
Aika stated, having written his name down beside the activity that he'd be doing while laughing.
"Uwah! You tricked me, Kiryuu!"
Issei complained as some of the students shared in the same thing, causing him to glance around at the people laughing. A lot of them included the people that were in his group, although, theirs were a bit more tamed in comparison.
"It was your fault for not paying attention."
Kazuki pointed out stretching his arms.
"Ugh, I had other things on my mind more important than the Sports Festival."
Issei pointed out, leaning forward with his chin resting on his hand.
"You were thinking about the increase in girls in our group and how you can barely interact with Rias-san and the others."
Kazuki blankly replied, while glancing at his older brother with an equally blank expression.
"Gah!"
Issei immediately face-planted as soon as his thoughts were revealed.
"It was kinda obvious from your reactions from the last couple of days. You know, there are other people you could be hanging out with instead of being focused on Rias-san and the others."
"Eh, like I want to hear that from you. Each time I see you, you're either with Asia-chan or Irina."
"Uh, that's because I haven't seen Kazu-chan in a while and this is the first time that I could stay in my hometown, Ise-kun."
Irina replied, almost not believing that she was there. It was almost something that made her want to pray, but kept down for the fact that it would hurt at least one of them, i.e. Issei.
"Plus, I don't have that many male friends, seeing as most of them hate me here. So, if I'm not hanging out with you, I'm with Yuuto, Gasper, or sometimes even Saji."
"Eh, didn't Saji hate you too?"
"Yeah, but he got over it, because of you know who."
Kazuki replied, not mentioning Sona in that situation, because of the surrounding students.
"Well, I guess that I can do that."
Issei stated, leaning back, not minding hanging out with whatever guy friends he had, for some time, he hadn't been able to hang out with Matsuda or Motohama for some time. Although the greater part of him wanted to be around women more than men, Issei did think that it would be nice. However, it didn't change the fact there were still things going on in this class.
From there, the students continued making their plans for the Sports Festival, with a lot of them looking forward to it.
During their lunch period, the members of the recently made Newspaper Club found themselves eating inside their club room. The members gathered around a round table where their lunches were sat beside one another while speaking about the school events.
"I can't believe that I enrolled here at the same time as the Sports Festival," Ravel started, drinking the tea in her hands, sounding excited. "I'm looking forward to this."
"I can see that. So, did you and Koneko get into a little spat?"
Raynare asked, turning her attention to Ravel with a teasing smile.
"Ugh, that Nekomata has been making all sorts of comments about me," Ravel seemed miffed at the mention of Koneko. "Yakitori-hime. Hetare. Hetare Yakitori-hime. Boke. Boke Yakitori-hime. I haven't done anything to that Nekomata to be deserving of such harsh treatment!"
It seemed as if it got to Koneko enough for her to rise from her seat, while her fingers could be seen pushing against the wood material. Well, none of them could understand the reason that Koneko was being so harsh to Ravel, despite neither having much interaction with one another.
"I guess that it's your typical cat and bird disagreement."
Kazuki pointed out.
"It wouldn't be the oddest thing in the world. I mean, Raikou hates Kazuki because he's a male and happens to be a Dragon too."
At the mention of that, they turned over towards Asia, who had Raikou resting on her lap, feeding the happy baby Dragon. Though it was happy in her presence, in response to looking at Kazuki, the Sprite Dragon was taking a lot of harsh looks at him. In response to that, Kazuki couldn't do anything aside from give a wry laugh, not feeling a lot of contempt or annoyance for the Sprite Dragon. How could he, Raikou was still a baby in regards to Dragons, plus it was more or less his nature to dislike other males.
Despite not liking men, he seemed to have been taking a liking to the other women apart of their group without a hint of spite for them.
"Heh, I guess that it could be that," Raynare said, while smiling, but found herself thinking about something else. "Or, this could be something like a little sister not liking the girl who likes their brother. Huh?"
In that instance, Raynare felt an odd sensation, she started feeling as if her body was heating up, something which she began becoming more aware of. As Kazuki explained, whatever Grigori's body modification surgery did, she experienced an increase in pleasure and desire at certain points. But, as someone who would be experiencing them, Raynare started getting a better understanding of their triggers.
"Uh, sometimes these feelings are just annoyingly random. But, sometimes, they're…." Raynare suddenly found herself, glancing over towards Kazuki, who was in the middle of a conversation with the other members of their Newspaper Club. It was obvious enough that Raynare developed strong feelings for him, but since the summer it seemed as if her body reacted to that. And due to the bodily modifications, those feelings in turn resulted in a far stronger reaction. "Oh, crap. Here it comes."
As soon as Kazuki entered Raynare's thoughts her body reacted as a deep sense of desire started to well within her. Not making it obvious, she found herself rubbing her thighs against one another as the heat could be felt in her stomach, where the marking was. She couldn't see it for herself, Raynare could feel her face heating up and turning red from the situation.
"Uh, Raynare-san are you alright?"
Raynare heard Asia calling out to her but found herself maintaining a calm smile.
"I'm fine, don't be worried, Asia-chan."
However, it was obvious enough that there was something wrong because this was something that they would see from time to time in their own home.
"Raynare, your face looks flushed and it looks almost as bad when we're at home," Mariah pointed out, which is a comment that the Fallen Angel couldn't refute. "I get that you'll need to 'relieve' the symptoms from whatever side-effects came about from that modification surgery. But, are you sure that there aren't any other things that you'll need to do to relieve them?"
Raynare was flushed from the comment, thinking about how obvious enough to those with more knowledge about the things 'relieving' oneself meant. It wasn't something that those such as Asia, Irina, and Ravel would be more or less aware of considering their particular situation. Again, her eyes went straight for Kazuki, who noticed her look at him and could see that her nervousness was building up.
"Uh, I think that it would be good enough that I'll go and calm down. I'll be back later."
As Raynare stood up from her seat, then proceeded to head outside of the door without hesitation, almost in an immediate rush. Based on the looks of the others, they looked concerned about her current condition, waiting for about a minute or two before speaking.
"Alright, I'm going to find and have a talk with Azazel."
Kazuki stated, finding himself standing up from the seat and towards the door.
"Wow, Kazuki-kun sure has become quite bold. I mean, heading out to go confront the Governor General and her father too."
Maria said jokingly, as she picked up one of her food.
"Heh, Kazu-chan sure has changed since the last time I saw him," Irina happily pointed out, and then her face started to turn red. "His body changed a lot too."
"Y-Yes."
At Irina's and Asia's comment, Mariah wore a sly smile on her face, then turned to the two women who were from the Church.
"Hm, I have been a little curious. I noticed that you two changed a little bit compared to the last time Iri-chan was here. It wasn't much of a change, but it was enough for me to notice that our faithful and adorable girls have changed a bit. Almost as if the two of you became more mature…I mean, as much as what you'd expect from Iri-chan and Asia-chan."
At Mariah's comment, the brunette and blonde found themselves looking immediately flustered without much of a calm expression. It was simply a tease at this point, as the more 'mature' and knowledgeable blonde already took a guess that the two weren't virgins anymore. But, Mariah couldn't help herself from teasing the two right in front of her as a general belief. Plus, she couldn't help finding the fact that Kazuki was becoming steadily much more mature and capable person an appealing trait.
"Mariah-sama, I don't think that you should be teasing them like this."
Ravel pointed out, as she gingerly drank from her tea.
"Hm, it does bring up the question of whether or not…well, when Ravel-chan might have her turn next."
Mariah pointed, out immediately causing Ravel to spit out the tea that was still in her mouth.
"*Cough* *Cough* M-Mariah-sama!"
Ravel's face turned bright red at that comment, as she wondered whether or not Mariah was raised inside of the Church. Succeeding in causing the three young women in front of her all flustered, the blonde Exorcist and Brave Saint decided to treat that as a success. Relishing in the victory, Mariah found herself drinking from the tea right in front of her without a care in the world, while her three victims pouted in response.
Outside, Azazel could be seen talking to other teachers, some of them being female teachers, who were smiling a little. As the first Fallen Angel to fall and create Grigori, it seemed as if Azazel was rather experienced in what it meant to talk to and seduce women. Although compared to Issei, the Fallen Angel had more self-control, it seemed as if he was keeping it to a minimum.
"Oh, I find it lovely that you decided to teach at the same school as your daughter."
"Thanks. Well, I was wondering what I could do. And thought that coming to support my daughter here would be the best thing for me."
"And I look as if the students have started talking a liking to you too."
Azazel was in the middle of receiving praise from the teachers surrounding him. All of whom seemed to gain far more respect for him as he was acting as a father and teacher at the same time. It was a happy coincidence that the Governor General wasn't expecting, but took it as a good sign of him being right for the job.
"Hey, Azazel-sensei."
"Oh, hey, Kazuki-kun, is there something that I could do for you?"
Azazel questioned, turning his head to find that Kazuki was standing there looking casual as the teachers turned to face him too. There wasn't a single in Kuoh Academy who didn't consider him to be the top student among all three years, even as a second-year, his grades could match that of the smartest third-year students.
"Yeah, Yuuma-san seems to be having a person issue. So, I wanted to know if there was something wrong."
Kazuki said, pretending to act as if he were talking to a worried and attentive father well.
"Oh, is that so? If that's the case, then do you all mind if I go and talk to Kazuki-kun here alone?"
Azazel asked.
"Oh, it's fine."
Seeing as it looked as if Azazel's and Kazuki's conversation was private, the teachers allowed them to head into a more private location to speak.
"So, what's happening with my poor daughter."
"I'm sure you guessed that there would be some potential side-effects to that body modification surgery from your 'poor daughter'.
Kazuki pointed out.
"Ah, I see."
Azazel said, not seeming surprised about that comment.
"So, mind giving a real explanation for what's happening with your daughter?"
"Hm," Azazel then snapped his finger, causing Kazuki to realize that a barrier was placed around them so that it would be impossible for their conversation to be heard. "During the Great War, there were a lot of things that those who were part of Grigori thought of in an attempt to lessen the gap in strength. It was then we thought about that bodily modification to strengthen ourselves. But, with the arrival of the Heavenly Dragons, and then the agreement to settle things from there, we never got the chance to use it. But, being the innovators we are we have studied and improved on it since then, becoming the basis for what we've used to aid Sacred Gear users and others."
"You're telling me that bodily modification surgery acted as the basis of your research into aiding those who have Sacred Gear users. But, you never used it on anyone else."
"Yeah, after researching and perfecting it, we soon discovered that there were some limitations on who it could be used on."
"Limitations?"
"First, it couldn't be used on those who I guess you could say reached their 'limit' as Fallen Angels, which would be like me and the Cadre. Theoretically, it could be used on us, but the effects couldn't be as effective on those who haven't reached their 'limit'."
"By limit, I'm guessing that you're referring to the number of things that an Angel and Fallen Angel has. You have a total of twelve and the other Cadre has a total of ten. Raynare, on the other hand, had four before the summer started. So, I'm guessing it was more effective on her."
"Yeah, but there's another thing to consider and that is how long Raynare has been a Fallen Angel because she hasn't been a part of Grigori all that long compared to others. So, in terms of being a Fallen Angel, she could be the farthest from being a completed Fallen Angel, because of that she's the ideal candidate."
"And the side effects?"
"Well, I wouldn't call the side-effects," Azazel stated, crossing his arms and still pretending to act as a father, as the barrier muted their conversation among the students. "By nature, Fallen Angels are born to seduce and tempt men and women. For example, a female Fallen Angel would develop a seductive body to accomplish that and a lot of their personalities would fit that too. So, for our ideal Fallen Angel, the body modification could include that factor about them too. I'm sure you noticed some of the changes in Raynare's body."
"Yeah, I noticed them."
"Well, there are several changes that could happen in someone's body after the modifications aside from their physical enhancements and potential. But, an important thing to remember is that Raynare's desires would affect her too."
"That being?"
"Let's say, there's a boy that she likes, in a normal person that'd cause the usual side effects. But, I'm sure you noticed Akeno's pursuit of Ise thus far," Azazel mentioned as Kazuki couldn't deny that. "Well, for Raynare when her desires for them enter her mind, her body reacts depending on how strong those feelings are. But, then the feelings might become too strong for her to comprehend, then it'll mean it's making her too embarrassed to act on them."
"You guys seriously used that untested surgery on her."
"In my defense, Sahariel and Armaros were the ones responsible for that."
"And the solution to that would be."
"Well, I wonder what would happen if the boy she had feelings for was to act on them," Azazel tried playing coy about it, causing Kazuki to glance straight at him with a deadpan look. Seeing as their conversation ended right at that point, he removed the barrier and then placed a hand on Kazuki's shoulder. In response to that, the young man stared right at the Governor General in confusion. "It'll be alright, Kazuki-kun. I know that Yuuma simply has feelings for you and all you'll need to do is recuperate them."
"…."
Kazuki's face scrunched up in annoyance as Azazel immediately played the role of a 'supportive dad'. Because of that comment, he found himself noticing the people surrounding him who heard that comment.
"Oh, thank you, Azazel-sensei. I'll be sure to think of that."
Kazuki replied in a somewhat normal tone, but on the inside, he either wanted to shoot or stab Azazel for making that kind of comment in front of the teachers and students.
"Don't worry. I know that you'll have a bright future ahead of you. So, I wouldn't mind considering you as a…."
As Azazel extended his hand to Kazuki, the young man took his hand and immediately started tightening his grip on the Governor General's hand. It was obvious that the immediate grip caught Azazel by surprise and could feel that Kazuki was increasing his strength using magic power.
"Oh, please, Azazel-sensei, I'll consider Yuuma-san's feelings on the matter."
Kazuki replied, as normally as possible, but he was almost fuming on the inside at his comment made in front of all the teachers and students around them.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I spoke a bit too much."
Azazel said as he and Kazuki released one another's hands.
In that instance, Kazuki started heading in another direction leaving Azazel, where he left his club room, seeing as lunch was still ongoing for now. After leaving, he started opening and closing the hand that Kazuki gripped, and an impressed smile appeared on his face.
"Well, it looks as if we were right in getting Vasco Strada and Tiamat to train him. Hah, kind of funny that the older brother was complaining about his training, but the younger one took it in stride. I'm curious as to how those Twin Dragons will influence one another."
Azazel said to himself before moving in the direction of the other teachers, whom he was talking to before.
The next day, the Kuoh Academy students were preparing for the Sports Festival, in the class where Kazuki and the others were practicing together with their class. Each of them was practicing in their tracksuits, with the men and women being in the same group as one another. Most could see that there were students either stretching or exercising to get themselves in shape. But, among the people practicing, they almost felt inadequate after seeing what some of their classmates were capable of.
"Kazuki-kun, please do it again."
"Yes, please one more time."
As Kazuki landed back on his feet, from whatever he did, he found himself giving a nervous laugh, while he stared at his female classmates.
"Come on, I don't think that I should be showing off like that."
Kazuki tried reasoning as he found the female students pouting and even groaning at the fact that he wouldn't be doing another performance. The fact that most of the class members consisted of Devils, Fallen Angels, and then Angels, it seemed almost unfair for them to compete in Sports Festivals. More so, considering this was the main reason Kazuki formed the Newspaper Club after leaving the Kendo Club. However, it was because of this kind of situation was Vasco was adhering to that Kazuki learned to properly regulate his strength, something which he was continuing to practice.
Just as Kazuki was preparing to do something else, aside from showing off in front of the students, there was a student among them whom he couldn't deny.
"Oh, please, Kazuki do it again."
In that instance, Asia found herself mesmerized by whatever Kazuki did, something which sparked an immediate reaction from him. Noticing this, mischievous smiles started appearing on his female classmates' faces, while all of them continued stirring him on.
"Please, Asia-chan wants to see it too."
"And what meanie wouldn't do what Asia-chan requested."
"Let's cheer Kazuki-kun on Asia-chan."
"A-Alright."
[Kazuki/Kazuki-kun! Kazuki/Kazuki-kun! Kazuki/Kazuki-kun! Kazuki/Kazuki-kun!]
In that instance, Kazuki found himself becoming flustered from the immediate cheers originating from his classmates with Asia among them. It did make him happy that Asia was further involved in what their class was doing. And something more important, there hasn't been a single moment when Kazuki refused a single request from Asia. However, she didn't have the slightest selfish bone in her body and the thought of Asia doing anything like that.
"Alright, I'll do it."
Kazuki surrendered, unable to reject a request from Asia, while the female students found themselves uttering a victorious 'yes' to themselves.
Right then and there, he started getting back into whatever position he was in before, while the female students all looked in anticipation. He proceeded to limber himself up, though it might not have been needed, but this turned into a habit from Vasco's training. After a head start, he started doing a bunch of fronts flips without much, if any difficulty at all, and flawlessly. Having landed on his hands, Kazuki lifted himself back into the air and backflipped, twisting himself around before landing on the ground. It was an athletic and nimble performance, which caught the attention of the students watching them.
Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap!
Having finished, Kazuki received claps from the female students who were watching him the entire time. He then started feeling flustered from the attention received and because it was all because he wanted to ironically show off in front of Asia, who wanted to see it again.
"Ugh, it'll be a pain in the ass attempting to compete with him in that."
"Seriously, what the hell has he been doing the entire summer?"
"As he has been taking some gymnastic training or something."
"Yeah, I thought there were rumors that he had some weak body."
Those were the conversations from the male students who were watching Kazuki performing those gymnastics in front of their female classmates. Most of the time, there would be some hint of wanting to prove they could do the same thing. But, witnessing that performance and athleticism made it unlikely either of them would ever be able to perform the same thing.
"Alright, let's do some stretches Asia-chan."
"Alright!"
Asia energetically said, while looking forward to the Sports Festival.
As Kazuki started doing the same thing, he kept looking on as the other female students started helping Asia with her stretches. It was obvious before that Asia wasn't the most athletic even among most female students, which caused a lot of them to assist her in stretches. But, due to the training and exercises that Vasco Strada had Asia doing throughout the summer, there was a notable improvement. Of course, as a healer, it was expected that she didn't need to do much aside from healing.
However, Vasco's experience and their joint knowledge about the disadvantages that came from a healer being on the battlefield. Both of them would have Asia doing regular exercises and stretching regularly before and after the summer started.
"Wow, Asia-chan, you've surely become more flexible since the summer."
A female student stated, noticing the immediate difference from before.
"Y-Yes, Kazuki and I have often jogged with one another."
Asia replied, finding herself giving a faint smile.
"Hm, I know that Kazuki-kun was someone who trained often."
Murayama, who was the next person to help Asia stretch stated, holding onto her hands as the two sat in front of one another. She and Katase were among the two people who would see Kazuki training all the time inside the Kendo Club as members. He was the most determined member of the Kendo Club, often remaining there just to train and improve himself.
"Hm, I know that being flexible for Kazuki would be a good thing, Asia-chan~"
Aika, who stood beside them found herself laughing at that comment.
In that instance, Asia felt her face heating up, while she was still stretching at the thought of that. The thoughts of what she and Kazuki would often do together during and after the summer break. She soon managed to shake a lot of those thoughts aside as she was preparing to do one final stretch with the others. During all this, Asia could forget about the things that were happening around her, ranging from Diodora bothering her with invitations and presents. No matter how many times Asia thought about herself being there right now, it all felt as if it were a dream come true. She was attending school. She made friends. She was seeing things she couldn't see before. And there was someone who Asia fell in love with and wanted to spend her life with.
"I challenge you, Xenovia, Raynare-san!"
"Bring it on, Irina!"
"Wait, why am I included?"
As Raynare was wondering why she was included in the challenge, she looked to find that Irina and Xenovia had started running ahead. Despite not wanting to race, this challenge ignited the Fallen Angel's competitive spirit, a trait often limited to Rias. And just like that, it turned into a race between an Angel, Devil, and Fallen Angel, which resulted in them running around the track. Although, the irony behind it might have been a reason behind Irina's sudden challenge. However, at the same time, it could have been just because.
As expected, the three supernatural women were too fast to be considered the standard for normal Humans, with the students being surprised about their running speed. At the same time, it wasn't as if the three women were all going all out; one of them being a Knight, who could have become too fast for Humans to track. But, the force of their steps could need some work as the sounds seemed to catch some attention.
"…But, if they move that fast, it's hard to see the movement of oppai."
"Yeah."
"Like I thought, a proper velocity is most needed for them to bounce."
Sitting on the sidelines watching them were the Perverted Trio, consisting of Matsuda, Motohama, and Issei, all of whom seemed to be focused on the women dressed and practicing. But, their current attention was directed at the there women currently running around. However, as Matsuda and Motohama were focusing on the three, Issei limited his attention to Xenovia, considering Kazuki's feelings for Irina. And to be honest, Issei didn't want to risk looking at Irina and Raynare perversely.
So, he limited his gaze to Xenovia, who had a tight and athletic body, but with decently large breasts. The trio of an Angel, Devil, and Fallen Angel continued with their race.
"Oh, Hyoudou."
"Ah. Saji."
Issei turned around to find that Saji, who wasn't in their class but seemed to have wandered off from his to come and found them. But, as usual, he was carrying around tools such as measuring tools for the Sports Festival, which showcased how dedicated he was to being in the Student Council.

Saji seemed surprised that Issei gave that kind of response.
"You don't need to tell me that, I know my boundaries."

Saji stared at Issei oddly, who thought he had anything such as 'boundaries', but then thought back to the Rating Games, where there was a lack of any boundaries. As if noticing them, Kazuki found himself heading in the same direction, but not before hitting Matsuda and Motohama right on top of their heads for leering at his girlfriend and friends. It looked to be enough to cause them to wince in pain, but that wasn't enough to do permanent damage, which was the most he could do.
"Hey, Saji."
"Yo, Kazuki."
Since the Rating Game, the two of them have started becoming more friends instead of one having animosity for the other one. But, in that moment, Kazuki felt that there was something odd about Saji, but more focused on the bandages around his right arm.
"What's up with your right arm?"
Kazuki decided to bring it up.
"Oh, right…I wanted to talk about this later."
Saji, who noticing no one could notice whatever he was hiding and could hear their conversation, started undoing the bandages. Having done that, what was around his right arm, were markings similar to that of black snakes, in addition to a purple jewel similar to Boosted Gear and Divine Dividing. Neither twin could hide their surprise about what was revealed to them.
"When I asked Azazel-sensei, he told me that the cause of this was when I had a battle with you in during that last Rating Game. Connecting myself with you, the Sekiryuutei who achieved Balance Breaker, and even taking your blood influenced my body. It looks like the line which was disconnected from my body also reflected the information of the Sekiryuutei it had taken data of."
Saji explained as Issei and Kazuki started thinking about it.
"Are you serious? Is it bad?"
"No, it seems like it doesn't have a bad influence. It's just that it's appearing on my body. Like this, for example."
Saji replied, pointing at the purple jewel.
"…Maybe you got cursed?"
At Issei's comment, which was a simple thought, Saji made a disturbed look.
When I said that, he made a disturbed face.
"Uwaa…. Don't say something which I was having concerns about…," Saji stated, feeling some shivers about the thought of being cursed. "Did you know that Vritra didn't leave that much of a good legend?"
"Yeah, I heard about a lot of Dragons, Evil or otherwise. I think that Vritra worked alongside the Asuras to fight with the God, Indra," Kazuki pointed out but then turned to Issei with a playful smirk. "Besides, Nii-san, if Saji did get cursed after taking in your blood, then wouldn't that speak more volumes about you rather than Vritra."

Issei seemed embarrassed about that comment, something which caused Saji to laugh.
"There shouldn't be anything to be worried about Saji, dragon blood has a positive effect on people depending on the Dragon in question. So, since your Absorption Line has one part of Vritra's soul, then that means taking in the Sekiryuutei's blood, while recording Boosted Gear's information could be positive for your development. I think it showed to be effective, because of the reaction that came from your right arm. I'm sure that your arm will return to normal after some time. If you want to test out the results, then we could do some training together."
Hearing Kazuki's explanation about that, neither Issei nor Saji could go against it. And that made them glad there was someone such as him around to explain those kinds of things.
"So what activities will you be doing, Hyoudou, Kazuki?"
Saji asked, feeling as if the conversation becoming lighthearted enough.
"I'm doing the sack race."
"I'm doing the three-legged race with Asia."
Issei and Kazuki replied, causing Saji to groan.
"Hah! You two are seriously lucky! I'm doing the bread-eating race."
Saji said, finding himself not looking forward to the bread-eating race.
"Not really, Nii-san got duped into doing the sack race."
"Ugh, shut up."
Issei found himself groaning as Kazuki brought that up.
"Saji, what are you doing? We will be checking the setting of each of the tents, so follow us quickly."
"We, the student council, lack manpower anyway so please work."
Sona and Tsubaki called out from a distance, both of them dressed in preparation for the Sports Festival.
"Yes Kaichou! Fukukaichou!"
Saji called out, returning to their side. But, in response to seeing Kazuki waving at her, Sona found herself with a softer expression for an instant before returning to her duties. After giving his farewell to the brothers, Saji kept up with his duties.

It seemed as if the event involving Saji was enough to get Ddraig's attention.
"Hmm? Ddraig, what do you mean?"
Issei thought in his head.
[No. Don't worry about it. But it looks like the direct contact with me has fastened it greatly. No matter how many pieces his soul was cut into, it will be a different story when it has a "start".]
"I don't even know what you just said."
[Close to you, there are Fafnir and Vritra. And you have met with Tannin. Looks like this host has strong ties with each of the Dragon Kings. But, that includes Tiamat, who seemed to have gotten close to your brother. I pray for our sake that she doesn't decide to confront us.]
As for Ddraig's concern for Tiamat, Issei found himself wondering what that was about.
"Asia! Did your breast develop during the summer holiday?"

Turning their head towards their other group, Issei and Kazuki found themselves looking to find Aika groping Asia from behind, noticing the difference in size.

Asia replied, feeling good and confident in that moment.

And with that, the two of them started getting back into their practice for the Three-legged Race. The entire class kept on with their preparation for whatever event that either of them would be doing.
After school ended, the people who had their club activities left to commence them, during which the members of the Newspaper Club discovered that the next opponent for Rias Gremory's peerage would be Diodora Astaroth. The Rating Game Tournament would be something which was held between the six families: Bael, Agares, Sitri, Glasya-Labolas, Astaroth, and Gremory. Among those six families, the one whom their Gremory Household's heiress will be fighting against would be the Astaroth's heir.
Finishing their club activities, the members of the Newspaper Club returned to the Hyoudou Mansion, where they thought about the incident. But, upon hearing Diodora Astaroth's name, Asia started having some uncomfortable feelings concerning him, which was shown at home. She found herself in the comfort of Mariah and Irina, joined by Xenovia, all of whom found themselves understanding her situation more.
Ravel was making some more preparations regarding what would be happening in the future for their group, which she was now a part of. The last three residents, on the other hand, found themselves inside the training room on the first underground floor. It was an expansive training room that seemed to have been designed by Ajuka Beelzebub, who wanted to test out another function. Although it wasn't being used at the moment, the training room itself could withstand almost any attack.
Right then, Sona held her hand out as water manifested around her, just as light spears were fired right at her. All of them originated from Raynare, who was flying around in the air using her fallen angel wings. All her light spears differed from before, their shape and density were on another level. As the spears slammed against the water, it looked to have held up well enough against them. Sona improved her water-based demonic powers through the summer break, as proven when she blocked some of Rias' Destruction blasts, which were fired like a shotgun. All of it was due to manipulation of the various water sources found in their Rating Game.
But, Sona wanted to practice more in regards to manipulating the water she could produce through demonic power alone. She might not have demonic power comparable to Rias, who bore the blood of a member of the Bael and Gremory, both those High-Class Devil lineages have strong demonic power, but Sona was superior in Demonic Power Manipulation when compared to Rias.
So, she limited herself to producing water around herself, focusing the demonic power within them, to defend herself from the light spears being right at her in that instance. As Raynare fired off one light spear after another at Sona, she kept the water tendrils tight, but flowing around her. Sona managed to block out the different spears fired at her, although, due to the fact Sona was a Devil, she kept her attention focused. And since it was simply a sparring session, Raynare didn't intend to do real harm to Sona.
If there was something that Sona couldn't defend against using the tendrils, she would shape the water tendrils into a water shield around herself.
"Well, it wouldn't be much of a training session, if I didn't get a little bit closer."
Raynare said as she made her fallen angel wings vanish, then instead created a light spear in her hands.
Getting into a stance, Raynare rushed at Sona, who started moving backward to prepare herself for the potential onslaught heading in her direction. Handling the light spear in her hands with adept skill, Raynare found herself swinging it diagonally, causing some of the water surrounding Sona to be dispersed. From Sona's senses, which had been honed from the summer training too, she could sense that there was a lot of light being concentrated into the spear. Both their powers contradicted and could cancel one another out depending on which one of them was superior.
Sona focused her demonic power on the water around her, whereas Raynare focused the light on the spear in her hands. The Fallen Angel rushed at Sona, handling the spear in her hands, making an assortment of complex actions handling the spear. In response to this, the Sitri Heiress kept controlling and focusing the water around herself, which fluidly moved around to defend her from the spear.
Although Sona trained no different from her peerage members, she was a strategist by nature, which was one of the reasons that she was getting used to fighting in direct combat. However, there was an issue with this situation which was shared with Rias, who despite her demonic power and physical capabilities.
"Kuh!"
Sona found herself falling to the ground, as Raynare made a sudden movement, lowering her body and aiming an abrupt low kick at the heiress' leg. Despite their high amount of demonic power, inherited abilities, naturally high physical abilities, and tactical abilities, there were people such as Raynare who focused on direct combat instead of long-ranged combat. Although, the two of them were, in fact, superior to the Fallen Angel, who started as a low-ranking member in comparison.
Same as the two people whom Sona and Rias adored, Raynare found herself training and having to spar against the strongest leaders of Grigori, who fought in the Great War. Neither of them could be compared to that of their fellow Cadre, Kokabiel, whom their entire group struggled to fight against before the summer. And with whatever happened to her in Grigori, none of them could guess where Raynare's potential could lead.
Despite falling to the ground, Sona found herself able to recover from falling to the ground, as the water seemed to regain their shape. But, before either of them could continue the sparring session, Raynare found soon herself making her light spear vanish, then holding out her hand.
"Alright, I think that should be a good place to stop. Plus, we've been going at it for almost half an hour."
Raynare found herself uttering, something which the intellectual and reasonable Sona found herself agreeing to without hesitation. Taking Raynare's hand, she was helped back up to her feet as the heiress proceeded to clean herself off. A breath escaped from Sona's mouth as she started stretching her arms in response to the amount of training that she had been doing thus far.
"Hm, I have to thank you again for agreeing to this Raynare-san."
"No problem, kinda surprised that you wanted to spar with me in the first place. Asia or not, a single scratch from a light spear could be a dangerous thing."
"I can't be lacking in training with my peerage are going to be trying their hardest to improve. Besides, learning to handle potential light poisoning could be beneficial. A High-Class Devil with strong enough demonic power could build up resistance to it, but it would be better to develop an actual countermeasure if it happens. I also want to find other means of defending myself in close-combat situations."
The more Raynare talked and heard Sona speak, the more she developed a sense of respect for her realism and tactical intuition. Despite having a disadvantage in terms of power and having expectations against them, Sona and her peerage managed to earn their respect.
"Well, I can see that. Despite being told that I had potential, I'm lacking a bit in the talent section. As you're able to guess, I failed as an Angel, then started failing as a Fallen Angel. After a long time, I attained a second pair of wings before that incident with Kokabiel," Raynare stated. "I'm even now struggling with the after-effects behind that modification surgery, which is starting to get in the way."
Sona could see and hear that Raynare was lamenting about the different inconveniences, which was happening in her life due to her lack of talent.
"Raynare-san, I don't think that working hard to get where you are is a bad thing. I mean, the Underworld has the biggest example in Rias' cousin, Sairaorg."
"Right, I heard that he wasn't born with the Power of Destruction that Rias, her brother, and nephew inherited, despite being the oldest."
"Yes, and despite that, he became the Strongest Youth through the strength he gained from training his hardest from when he was young."
Sona stated.
Although she didn't mention it, due to certain circumstances Sona had gotten to know Sairaorg due to constant visits to the Sitri Clan's hospital. It wasn't something that Sona could share with people who don't know of the Strongest Youth's family situation.
"You worked hard to realize your potential, it's something that you should be proud of, Raynare-san. Sairaorg was someone who worked hard for his strength and it's something that he prides himself in."
"Yeah, I'm proud of it, but there's one thing that I can't say I'm proud of myself in. Ugh, it's just some stupid thing that makes me feel ashamed of calling myself a Fallen Angel. This stupid body of mine is starting to become more and more of a nuisance for me," Raynare pointed out, finding herself feeling a little flustered, something which make Sona stare at her. Her attention was then directed toward the second source of light inside the training room. "So, should we classify Kazuki as?"

But, he was floating in the air using his newly acquired angel wings, while assuming a meditative prayer position, breathing and concentrating; having remained in that same posture during the training session. Kazuki wrapped himself in the newly acquired power he gained as an Angel, the light enveloped him. Around him, he manifested a series of light swords which continued floating around him without losing their shape.
There wasn't a single thing that Sona needed to think about when it came to Kazuki, he was talented and had a great amount of potential. Like a lot of other people, he was born with something that impeded him, a far weaker body compared to his older brother, which kept him from becoming as strong as he could have. But, because of that he worked harder than one would have ever expected and that hasn't stopped. And that was something which all the people around thought too.
"Kazuki is the Hakuryuukou."
Sona replied, standing in front of Raynare.
"Yeah, that works for me."
Raynare replied, wearing a smile.
Kazuki was looking to get used to and understand the new powers that he gained when he reincarnated as an Angel, a main part of his training since the summer ended. It didn't take long for him to land on the ground as the light swords followed suit. There were several things that Kazuki wanted to achieve with or without Divine Dividing, with the newly acquired light powers simply being another potential tool.
"Alright, I think that I'm starting to get the hang of it," Kazuki stated, causing one of the light swords to land right in his hands. "Well, what do you think, Albion?"
[Hm, I agree, it seems as if you're adjusting well with the abilities you acquired as an Angel.]
"Now that I think about it, my being an Angel matches well with the light wings of Divine Dividing. And the fact, as a Dragon, you have an admittedly beautiful pure white body and feathered wings yourself."
Kazuki stated, almost seeming to tease Albion, causing the Heavenly Dragon to laugh in a huff.
[Hm, is that so? I'm just glad that you weren't in an almost subservient position.]
"Yeah, as a Joker, different from the other Brave Saints, I'm pretty much independent unless I'm being called on to aid Gabriel-san where I can."
Kazuki replied to Albion's comment.
Before and after the summer break, more so afterward, Kazuki and Albion have spoken to one another more and more. Resulting in the two holding conversations without the Heavenly Dragon leaving them incomplete, although there were moments when that still happened.
As Kazuki stood there talking to Albion, Raynare couldn't help finding her attention targeted right at him and almost examined his body.
