Asia's Worries

Today, Kazuki and Asia were practicing for the Three-Legged Race, both their leg were tied together, while both of them ran together. For those around them, it was surprising to see that Asia could run around like this for almost over thirty minutes considering she wasn't a combatant. However, the group heard that Vasco Strada made a training regimen suited for a healer, which he developed based on personal experience. And since the summer break, she hadn't stopped training like that since then, causing her stamina to continue improving ever since.
It was no surprise that Kazuki has grown the most in terms of physical ability and stamina having trained with the Strongest Exorcist and Dragon King. But, he learned about limiting himself and matching Asia's pace without making it so that it was uncomfortable for her. And most important, there was almost no one closer than the two of them in the school. So, as far as anyone knew the two of them could act as the ideal pair in the Three-Legged Race. Both continued until it was time to take a break, as Xenovia, who was supervising them handed them a water bottle without hesitation.
"Even without me to tell, you two have a perfect rhythm."
Xenovia pointed out as the two drank from their respective bottles.
"Hah, yeah. I know that we'll do great in the Three-Legged Race, right Asia?"
Kazuki asked, turning his attention to his racing partner/girlfriend.

Asia made no real reaction to the question from Kazuki, instead seeming to focus on the ground as she held her water bottle in her hand.
She has been acting odd since the Diodora incident which wasn't surprising seeing as it has been happening ever since they met him. But, this increased as she heard that the Gremory Group would be fighting against him in the next Rating Game match. Of course, that has no connection to their group, but the constant harassment and 'confessions' from Diodora on an almost regular basis made his name alone a sore subject for Asia.
Seeing that expression, Kazuki found himself placing a comforting arm around Asia, pulling her into a hug.

Asia was surprised, not expecting that hug from her boyfriend. Her mind did not process it until it happened, and then having it done in front of other people caused her face to turn bright red.
"You don't need to be worried about Diodora or anyone else. No matter what happens or what anyone else says, your true home will always be with us."
Kazuki stated words that resonated with Asia who spent her entire life, not knowing whether or not she had a place anywhere and being treated like a monster. No matter how often she helped people with the purest intent, it didn't change the fact that believers and the people she healed saw her as nothing but a monster who healed. As those words entered her mind, Asia found herself smiling, as if on the brink of tears too.
"I love this place, I like Kuoh Academy, the Occult Research Club, and our Newspaper Club," Asia started as she linked her hands together. "I also like Buchou, Akeno-san, Kiba-san, Koneko-chan, Xenovia-san, Gasper-kun, Sensei, Iri-chan, Mariah-chan, Raynare-san, Sona-san, Ravel-san. I love Kazuki, Ise-san, and his parents, who took me into their home and treated me like family. The new life I started in this city is something very important, and something I greatly love which makes it so wonderful. I felt as if everything that I have been through in life led me right here."
Asia gave them a heartfelt and honest response to Kazuki's kindness which caused their hearts to melt in response to hearing them.
"…Asia. I wanted to apologize to you once again. The first time I met you, I said harsh things to you. I still regret it even now. …Asia, you treat me kindly. You said I'm your f-f-friend…."
Hearing those words that resonated with them, Xenovia found herself thinking back to the things she said and did to Asia. Despite all that, the former Nun befriended and talked to her, becoming close friends in a short period. And their interactions together made the former Exorcist see things from a different perspective, learning and experiencing things she never thought she'd come to love.
Xenovia, who was often inexpressive the times she wasn't hotheaded had a reddened face from embarrassment at her past actions. Hearing those words, Asia smiled and took her blue-haired friend's hand without hesitation as Xenovia looked at her.
"Yes. Xenovia-san and I are friends."
Asia replied, smiling.
"Thank you. Thank you, Asia."
Xenovia replied, smiling with teary eyes.
From around them, the people surrounding them felt a deep sense of emotion from the scene in front of them.

Issei asked, finding himself almost wanting to redirect the conversation elsewhere.
"Well, Kazu-chan and we are building up a good club meant to inform the students and teachers about all of the wonderful events that'll happen. Also, our dear and darling boyfriend, erm our Club President is planning a lot for a new club."
Irina found herself fluttering after admitting that Kazuki was their boyfriend, at least regarding her, Asia, and more recently Raynare. It was something most of them were aware of, but not for the fact that either of them did anything sexual. Xenovia said, clapping her hands and earning their attention.
From there, the group continued practicing for the upcoming Sports Festival the entire time there.

Kazuki was in the process of returning the rope their group was using for their preparations for the Three-Legged Race. Both of them stood in the Gymnasium's storage room, since it wasn't much, he could do most of the work, as Asia was recovering a bit. Her stamina did increase more than one would expect, but the mental stamina from the situation involving Diodora was taking a toll on her.
Aside from that, it was a surprise that Asia could train for this long despite not being a Reincarnated Angel, and keep up pace with Kazuki to some extent. But, there wasn't much, if any muscle pain afterward, as it was part of the reason Vasco assigned her a strict training regimen based on the idea it could heal muscle pain and damage. For Asia, who already wasn't the most athletic, using Twilight Healing like that was the most ideal and perfect in regards to physical training.
At the same time, Asia managed to improve her precision in healing, as Vasco admitted the particular traits of physical training and muscles needing to be torn and healed to get stronger.
"Alright, I'm done, let's…."
As Kazuki finished putting up the rest of the equipment, he heard something off.

It originated from the door that the two entered through, where Irina was now standing around wearing a shy expression. Same as them, Irina was dressed in gym clothes, the sweat causing the fabric to cling to her skin. It was her reddened cheeks that caused him to wonder what was going on throughout his childhood friend/girlfriend's mind in that instance.

Kazuki listened to Irina and her reasoning for why this would be alright despite the situation at hand, something which would make sense to her. Xenovia, Irina, and Asia, three women from the Church who were influenced by the things they heard from others. Oddly enough, Mariah was raised in the Church her entire life but was never at all influenced by others.
"…is that true, Kazuki?"
Asia asked, not doubting the words, but wanted confirmation from Kazuki.
"Um, yeah I guess that it is true that sometimes couples come here to do those kinds of things together. But, a lot of them are rumors since neither of them have gotten caught or did it when no one could catch them."
Kazuki replied honestly, not having the heart to lie to either of them or having a reason to.
But, it looked as if that confirmation caused some hint of encouragement from Irina and Asia, both of whom were nervous about the information.
"T-Then," Irina started, approaching Asia with more of a confidence boost and holding onto her hand. "Asia-chan, we were Kazu-chan's first girlfriends and we fell in love with him for the same reasons as the others. Asia replied, going along with Irina's suggestion with renewed vigor, almost forgetting her issues concerning her undesirable suitor. At the same time, it seemed as if the two of them were ignoring Kazuki's comment about this not being a composition.

After coming to terms with what the three of them would be doing inside the storage room, Kazuki placed up a seal on the door and the typical Anti-Falling Barrier around the room itself.

No one could deny that Mariah was correct in that point, as the competitors of the Youth Tournament will be the leading players in the future. Most might even end up fighting alongside them in future battles against those from the Khaos Brigade. However, the thought of fighting alongside someone like Diodora and Zephyrdor sent a sickening feeling down their stomach.
"Yes, I thought that Kazu-sama would be interested in the Rating Game. I took the liberty of getting a recording of the most recent Rating Games in the Youth Tournament."
Standing up proudly, Ravel showed off a device meant to project the Rating Game matches, sparking a round of applause from the other members. Although, she said it, receiving honest and simple praise from them about her forward-thinking made Ravel feel flustered on the inside.
"So, first up is Sairaorg-sama and Zephyrdor-san."
Ravel stated, finding herself recovering or masking the feelings building up inside her chest.
Even then, Ravel played the recording which showed the match between Sairaorg Bael's peerage and Zephyrdor Glasya-Labolas' peerage. Overall, it was a decent battle between their teams, both of them having some really strong servants, which continued for several hours. In the end, it was a one-on-one match between the Kings, after Zephyrdor lost his last Evil Pieces after being called out by Sairaorg, the entire members of the Newspaper Club then witnessed overwhelming "power".
Zephyrdor wasn't weak and released strong demonic power, but none of that worked against Sairaorg, who used simply his fists, which caused destruction each time either was swung. Numerous defensive techniques tore all apart almost as if they were sheets of paper, and as the Bael Heir's fist dove into the Glasya-Labolas Heir's gut, it caused the surroundings to shake from the pressure. Zephyrdor, who showed himself and acted as a superior Pure-Blooded Devil found himself helpless against the sheer might of another Pure-Blood's punches.
A match between the Heirs of their respective clans, but it turned into a match between demonic powers against raw strength from someone's punches and kicks. Sairaorg without a doubt left a deep impression on the people watching the Rating Game Match, on those who watched it live, and on those who watched the recordings like them.
"Well, I never thought that I'd ever meet a Pure-Blooded Devil who uses martial arts and physical abilities, instead of their demonic power."
Mariah pointed out.
"Sona said that Sairaorg trained his body to the limit, but she didn't mention that his punches and kicks can shake the ground and cause explosions."
Raynare added something that neither of them could say was an exaggeration.
There wasn't the hint of Sairaorg using demonic powers, an irregular thing to see from a Pure-Blooded Devil. But, a lot of the people in the room could tell that either the Bael Heir had his reasons for why he wasn't using it or it could be that he couldn't use it.
"Well, I could see that he and Rias-senpai are related, both of them often favor one-on-one fights despite being a King in the Rating Game."
Kazuki pointed out.
"I guess that it's the Bael blood running in their veins."
Raynare added, finding herself joking about that comment.
Little did their group know or realize, Rias, who was having a similar conversation with Azazel, who'd mentioned the same thing and caused the Gremory Heiress to sneeze in response. For the Japanophile, she came to realize that someone was talking about her behind her back about the same thing. Of course, the first person that came to Rias' mind was Raynare, with whom she had continuous backs and forth regularly.
"Sairaorg-sama is a unique Pure-Blooded Devil, he didn't inherit the Power of Destruction that Sirzechs-sama and Rias-sama inherited from Venelana-sama. Both have shown talent and potential that's a definite cut above those apart of the Bael Clan thus far," Ravel explained. "Not surprising, as Venelana-sama is the Strongest Female Bael to have ever been born in the clan. Also, the Gremory Clan is noted to have powerful demonic power and talent in using it. But, such a thing doesn't matter with the Bael Clan, who seemed to compare his children to them."
It sounded as if Ravel was more aware of the Bael Clan's situation than them, but it looked as if Sairaorg had a rough life due to his lacking talent and not having the right body for demonic power. Again, it caused them to think of Kazuki, who had a weaker body despite having a Longinus.
"Azazel-sama once mentioned that Kazuki had good talent in wielding Divine Dividing, but his body didn't match it. He said that if he attempted to activate Balance Breaker in his previous condition or overused it, then his body would receive a severe backlash."
Raynare explained something that the others could understand.
"His strength alone reminds me somewhat of his Eminence Strada. I didn't see much of his real strength, or what he could manage, but Asia and I saw what raw strength was."
Kazuki stated something that Asia remembered herself.
Inside the Training Room installed into the house, one which produced a mountainous training area, Vasco came to show Kazuki and Asia what his strength was like. He had no doubts that Vasco Strada was powerful, as even in his elderly age, he was considered to be the Strongest Exorcist. His armor muscles bellied ludicrous strength, which demolished mountains through sheer pressure alone. No matter how much training he did, Kazuki was unable to see himself doing it through natural physical abilities alone. But, Kazuki still followed his advice being focused on training his body as much as his other abilities.
To see that Sairaorg was capable of the same feats of physical strength and destruction almost caused a sense of admiration for the Bael Heir to build up. But, it was surprising that Vasco Strada could achieve such strength with a Human body.
"If we're talking about the Rating Game Committee's ratings, Sairaorg-sama is ranked first, Seekvaira-sama is second, Rias-sama is third, Diodora is fourth, Sona-sama is fifth, and Zephyrdor-san is sixth. And that is the rankings that were made based on their strength, including the King and their servants. But, because of the Youth Tournament's matches thus far, those rankings have been adjusted."
Ravel explained, causing them to think of the reason for that.
Sona, despite being ranked lower than Rias managed to gain the upper hand against her and her peers, which included the Sekiryuutei and Durandal users. She used plans and strategies that embodied what the Rating Games were meant to be instead of overpowering foes through sheer might, instead using her mind. Afterwards, Sona received a higher rating from the committee proceeding with the match.
"Well, the rating for them was biased considering their statuses."
Raynare pointed out, that the factors and members had a strong influence on the ratings, though both Sairaorg and Seekvaira were from the highest-ranked families among the 72 Pillar.
"No kidding, I hear about the abilities of the clans who're ranked as the Great King and Archduke. And if Sairaorg is strong, I can guess from what we've seen of Seekvaira that she's as much as Sona."
Mariah stated, recalling the time she saw Seekvaira during the party.
Both she and Sona shared the same kind of serious atmosphere, so it wouldn't be a bad guess to suggest that she could be as intelligent.
"Speaking of, Azazel-sama wanted me to show you the graph rating of the participants of the Youth Tournament. He also made one for Kazu-sama, which is another reason why he wanted me to bring it up."
At that, Ravel started switching to the graph meant for the Youth Tournament Participants: Sairaorg, Seekvaira, Rias, Diodora, Sona, and Zephyrdor. Each one has categories titled: Power, Technique, Support, and Wizard, all of which were the typical ratings for the combat styles, with the addition of King.
As a King, Rias, Sona, and Seekvaira were fairly high, with Sona being higher than Rias, with Sairaorg being rated considerably high. Among the four of them, it seemed as if Diodora was rated the fourth lowest, with Zephyrdor being rated the lowest possible in terms of being a King.
In Rias' graph, as a Wizard representing demonic power increased the most, and Power increased alongside it, in terms of Technique and Support she was considered average. In Sona's graph, she was rated high up in terms of a Wizard, but what stood out was her rating in terms of Technique, being rated much higher than Rias in Support too, Power being the lowest of them. In Seekvaira's graph, the same thing could be said in terms of Sona's rating. Diodora was higher in a Wizard rating with the others being moderate, with Support and Power being the lowest. Zephyrdor's Power was the most focused, being higher than the three of them, however, it didn't come close to that of Sairaorg.
Sairaorg's Power rating was the highest of the four of them, reaching the ceiling, with the graph being limited to a certain level. His Technique rating wasn't that low, being far higher than moderate, while his Support and Wizard were the lowest. Despite not having the Bael's Destruction or demonic power, Sairaorg's raw power alone made up for that, showing the reason he was the highest rated among even the Rookie Four.
"You know, I knew that Sairaorg wasn't going all out in that match, but seeing his rating like this truly makes you wonder what would happen if he goes all out."
Mariah pointed out.
"Uh, I wonder what Rias-senpai and the others plan on doing against Sairaorg-san."
Irina wondered out loud, seeing Sairaorg's match and his overall rating, which was entirely overwhelming.
"He's similar to Nii-san, but when it comes to him, he was born with a Longinus. Sairaorg-san, on the other hand, simply rained himself to the limit. Honestly, as someone who was born with a weak body, I can't help but admire him," Kazuki pointed out, finding himself admiring the Bael Heir's tenacity. "Truly a self-made person. But, I could guess that Zephyrdor isn't going to be their next foe after Diodora."
Kazuki pointed out, as the others could see that the previous confident, if not cocky Pure-Blooded Devil stood in a corner and cried as he suffered such a brutal defeat by Sairaorg's hands. There wasn't a single person inside the club room who could mock the Glasya-Labolas Heir.
"You're correct, Kazu-sama. Zephyrdor-san is unable to return to the tournament after suffering that brutal defeat by Sairaorg-sama's hands. Pure-Blooded Devils pride themselves on their talent and demonic powers. so, when up against true and unstoppable power their mind and soul could be broken if their will isn't strong enough," there was a faint pause as Ravel said those words. "I learned about that myself after Riser-oniisama lose against Ise-sama."
Everyone could hear that Ravel was sad about those words as her older brother hadn't recovered from that match despite how much time passed. Riser was the same as Zephyrdor, believing in his talent and demonic power with no concern about facing defeat.
"Ravel-san."
Asia said, standing up and then finding herself holding onto her underclassman's hands in a comforting manner and the ironically comforting preference of a Saint.
"…I'm fine, Asia-sama," Ravel said smiling, then regained her previous composure. "Alright, then now I heard that the most surprising match is the one between Seekvaira-sama and Diodora."
"Hm, why?"
Kazuki asked, and then Ravel started playing the recording.
During the Rating Game, it looked as if Seekvaira and her strong servants started off the game with amazing formation and teamwork. However, the match was ended by Diodora himself who showed off powerful demonic powers superior to even Rias through support from his peerage. Not even his Knights or Rooks joined in the fight and instead supported him.

Finishing the match, there wasn't a single person in the Newspaper Club who could utter a single word after the unbelievable match in front of them. It was surprising that Seekvaira lost in such a one-sided battle, but there's a major issue about the match itself.
"Alright, what the hell happened," Raynare was the first to utter a complaint about the Youth Tournament. "Each of us met that creepy weirdo and he wasn't that strong the first time we met him. I doubt that someone like him is 'that' skilled at masking their presence and demonic power because what he released was too much."
Raynare wasn't wrong, everyone there remembered the first time they encountered Diodora and he didn't give off that strong of a presence from his demonic power. Ravel, who was more aware of the members of the Rookie Four, in addition to Diodora and Zephyrdor, didn't know how the Astaroth Heir showcased such power.
"After Sona-sama beat Rias-sama and her peerage, she received a gold star ranking. But, after Diodora defeated Seekvaira-sama, he received a bigger rating than hers. However, his demonic power shouldn't have been all that powerful from the last time he showed it all. His combat style is a Wizard-type, closer to being a Technique-type, but the demonic power showcased it closer to that of a Power-type. It's such an irregular shift in his abilities that makes no sense. Diodora isn't the kind of Devil who trains or practices either. So, everyone expected Seekvaira-sama to win since her intellect is no different from Sona-sama."
"It's almost as if he got boosted using something similar to Ise's Boosted Gear. Hm, but it reminds me of another thing too."
Mariah pointed out, finding the sudden increase in his demonic power as reminding her of something else.
"That's right, though. I got better at sensing auras, so I could tell whether or not someone who wasn't that skilled at hiding was attempting to hide. But, I learned somewhat about sensing things from Kuroka-san before too. Whatever he did to get that strong is entirely suspicious. Plus, because he's been acting weird since that first time we met," Kazuki thought, then started turning his head to find that Ravel too was sending him a discrete look as if she were on the same page. "Well, it looks as if I'll need to talk to Ravel-san later."
Kazuki was thinking about the entire incident from the time Diodora appeared in front of Asia, then the match of him showing overwhelming demonic power that he shouldn't have been capable of releasing. All of those odd occurrences made him think about the time when someone was hired to kidnap Asia. Thinking about all of those things made him clench his fist one simple thing.
"If I find out that he's responsible for all that, then…."
Kazuki thought as he looked more serious in that instance.
"Kazuki are you alright?"
Mariah asked, showing her ever-so initiative and informed nature.
"Yeah, it's just that…."
"Diodora has so many red flags up that it makes you wonder whether or not he's intentionally attempting to make himself look suspicious."
Mariah replied smiling, the comment making him laugh without much hesitation.
"Yeah, as if he's screaming I'm suspicious."
Kazuki stated, wearing a casual smile as Mariah smiled much wider with a cheery atmosphere.

During their attempts at talking about the incident, there was a magic circle that the others recognized as that of the Astaroth Clan. But, in response to seeing that, Kazuki lifted his hand and created a magic circle of his own on top of it.

Kazuki broke the teleportation magic circle using the method he learned over the summer break.
"…I wonder who that was."
Raynare stated, finding herself almost bursting out laughing.

There was a cycle of the teleportation magic circle being manifested and then breaking, something which almost seemed like a comedy act. It was pretty much confirmed that it was Diodora attempting to enter the Newspaper Club to see Asia, but Kazuki was keeping that from happening.
[Pft, hahahahaha!]
Everyone in the room aside from Asia started laughing at the continued attempts at entering without failing, as a lot of them started mentally keeping tallies of the attempts. At this point, it seemed as if it were a contest to see how long Diodora would attempt this on end. To them, it seemed as if there were at least fifty attempts at Diodora trying to teleport into the room, but Kazuki wasn't having any of that.
"Hahaha, I wonder who that is?"
Mariah stated, attempting to hide most of her laughter.
"Oh, I don't know~ But, I wonder if it's something important~"
Raynare stated, trying to hide her laughter.
"I memory serves, then I think that was the Astaroth Clan's seal. But, hahahaha, I don't know."
Ravel added, holding back her laughter.
"I wonder if someone is getting frustrated."
Kazuki wondered out loud and smiling, as Diodora didn't seem to attempt this another time.
Each of them wondered whether or not Diodora was stomping the ground as his attempts at entering the room continued to be foiled in a childish game. Kazuki and the others looked prepared to see the same magic seal as if it were a game of whack-a-mole. There was a deep silence in the club room, as the members stared in that same spot to see if it would happen again. During this, the group started hearing footsteps heading right in the direction of the Newspaper Club's door.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
"Hm, I wonder who is it?"
Mariah asked, attempting to sound clueless.
Deciding to be the person who stands up, Kazuki walked to the door, then opened it, revealing Diodora Astaroth, with the Astaroth Heir wearing a refreshing smile. However, on the inside, he was fuming at the thought that he'd been kept from teleporting inside of the club room as intended. Instead, he had to teleport to another location and then was forced to navigate around until he arrived there.
"How are you doing? It is I, Diodora Astaroth. I have come to see Asia."
Diodora introduced himself, as he stood in front of Kazuki.
"Ah, was that you who was attempting to teleport here? I apologize, after the incident involving some Magicians, I thought that it would be better to have a means of keeping people from randomly teleporting in."
Kazuki replied, feigning an apology.
"Oh, that's fine. I understand," Diodora stated, finding himself entering the room, but Kazuki kept him from coming in much. "I do think that a cup of tea would make what I'm going to ask a bit more understanding."
"Oh, I apologize. But, if you wanted tea, then it might've been best that you'd gone to Rias' side because I have no obligation to have anyone here waiting on you."
Kazuki stated, not losing his smile but continued reading Diodora's expression, which didn't seem to change. But, he could tell that on the inside he might be becoming more hostile.
"Well, that is my fault. I should've come more announced. I'll be sure to remember that."
"That's good. It'd be a shame for Ajuka Beelzebub who has a relative rude enough to come to people unexpectedly, unannounced, and demanding tea. Plus, because you've been rude to my girlfriend."
Kazuki again pointed out, noticing the faintest twitch from Diodora, who didn't lose his refreshing smile.
"Well, on that note. Might I be blunt?"
"Oh, why stop now."
"Alright, then I like to have Asia Argento."

In that instance, Kazuki and the women behind them who were friends with Asia found themselves glaring right at Diodora with annoyance clearly in their eyes. From the first time he returned to her life, no different from that of the cold, he kept coming back again and again without stopping. Hearing those words Asia found herself with trembling hands and almost wanted to hide behind Kazuki.
"But, don't think that I've come without an offer. I'll give one of the servants who works under the Astaroth Clan as a fair trade. The one I will be arranging is…."
As if not caring about rejection, Diodora found himself manifesting a holographic projection of different servants and maids belonging to the Astaroth Clan. All of them were beautiful, but Kazuki wasn't staring at a single maid or woman shown in the projection.
"You have some real nerve to come here making demands and thinking that I'll go with anything that you have to offer," Kazuki stated, his tone sounding enraged and hostile despite looking calm. "So, let me make this clear. Asia isn't something meant to be handed off to someone else as a trade. She's a person who has her own will and desire. If she wants to interact or talk with you that is her choice. But, what you've broken so far is the fact that you don't see her as Asia Argento and instead something you could bargain for."
Hearing Kazuki's words caused the women in the room standing behind him to hear the earnestness behind them, as well as resonating with their hearts. But, it didn't seem to phase Diodora who wasn't the slightest bit influenced by those words.
"Is it because of her ability? Or is it because of her charm as an individual?"
"It's because Asia is Asia. Even if she didn't have her Sacred Gear, she'd still have an irreplaceable place with me."
"Kazuki."
Asia felt herself smiling and tearing up, while her hands clasped together.
"Asia could befriend a Fallen Angel like me and refer to me as a friend. She's an irreplaceable friend and member of our group, who none of us can ever do without."
Raynare added, standing up to her feet.
"She could live her life without being a part of the Church, which she grew up in. Despite being abandoned by the people who used her for her healing abilities, Asia didn't lose her faith and kept helping people. Despite her being called a witch, she's more than worthy of being called a saint than anyone else. She becomes my friend and I'll be one of the people who ensure no one tells hers how to live her life."
Mariah added, showing a serious look.
"I was rude to her and thought that she was a witch. After getting to know Asia-chan, I realized that she was just like anyone else and wanted to live a simple and happy life. She became my friend who loved the same person as me. So, I refuse to listen to anyone being mean to her."
Irina stated, showing tears in her eyes.
"Asia-sama helped me adjust to entering school as a first-year student and living under the same roof. I don't know how to live like a normal person, but she's been acting like an upperclassman for me. I might be a High-Class Devil and not an heir like you, but I won't stand by as you treat someone who helped me like a thing that you could come and take as he wants."
Ravel added, showing more emotion than one would expect.
"…everyone."
Asia found herself tearing up after hearing the heartfelt comments from the members of the Newspaper Club, all of whom stood in front of her and separated her from Diodora. The Astaroth Heir in question did not react to their comments and instead looked on as if nothing had reached his head or registered.
"I understand. I will retreat for today, but I will not give up."
Diodora stated, finding that he had no means of getting to Asia without forcing his way through them, something which would cause more trouble for him. So, instead, he decided that it would be best to switch to a much more indirect method, then raised his hand towards where Asia was.
"Asia. I love you. It's okay, destiny won't betray us. Even if everything in this world rejects us, I will overcome them no matter what."
At that comment, Kazuki found himself grabbing onto his shoulder and intended to lead him outside of their club room.
"Alright, I think that it's time for you to scram."
"Can you let go of me? I feel a bit sickened to be touched by a filthy Dragon."
"Eh? If you feel that strongly about it, then why don't you try removing my hand? Didn't you just show off some insane demonic power during your Rating Game?"
Despite smiling, Kazuki's eyes were aimed straight at Diodora whose expression seemed to falter the most since their conversation started. On the inside, hearing the comment "Filthy Dragon" aimed at them caused some reaction from Albion, who took serious offense to that, which was the same for Kazuki.
"…?"
It seemed as if the others reacted to something surprising as Asia seemed to move passed them, then started to approach Kazuki and Diodora without hesitation. As soon as she appeared in front of the Astaroth Heir, the most surprising thing happened Asia slapped Diodora across the face causing the area to turn red. And through the resolve gained from their interactions with Kazuki and the others, Asia shared straight at the Astaroth Heir with a determined look, then shouted.
"Please do not say that!"
At Asia's actions and comment, the others found themselves surprised and smiling at what the usually kindest of them managed to do on her own.
"I see. I understand. Then how about this? In the next match, after I defeat Rias and her Sekiryuutei, Issei Hyoudou we'll settle this."
Diodora stated, pointing right at Kazuki.
"Eh, what makes you think that you'll be the one who wins? Even then, you wouldn't even beat me in your dreams," Kazuki replied, giving a confident look as Diodora showed signs of leaving using a magic circle. And the same as before. "…."

"…!"
Diodora's face twitched as the others behind him almost burst out laughing.
He opened the door and then found himself walking outside of the club room instead of attempting to leave as he did moments before. And after that, he and the women burst out laughing after that final attempt to teleport outside of the room was foiled. Afterward, Asia found herself receiving praise and love from the members of their club, causing her to relish in the life that seemed the most ideal for her more and more.
Meanwhile, as Diodora teleported into a more remote part of the Astaroth Territory, he found himself slamming a hand on one tree there, releasing demonic power that annihilated several of them. His refreshing smile faded, while veins appeared on his face and letting his emotions out.
"That damnable Filthy Dragon dared to intervene with me! A Fallen Angel! Faux Angels! And a High-Class Devil, who couldn't even become an Heiress herself! Each of them dares intervene between me and Asia! Ugh, this is all those damned Fallen Angel's fault that I have to go through all this!"
All the emotions that Diodora stored up from the interactions and rejections received since the summer ended all seemed to come out in that instance. After that, a calming breath escaped from his mouth and a small seemed to form on his face.
"Well, I guess that it'll all be worth it in the end," Diodora stated, then licked his lips. "What better way to relish in this longstanding wait than to build up my appetite for it."
A magic circle then appeared in front of him, causing him to answer the call from it.
[I have things prepared.]
A familiar voice came from the magic circle.
"Great, now all you have to do is not screw this up a second time. I have been waiting for longer than I care to admit. But, I guess screwing up in the Familiar Forest and continuing to interact with those peons simply made the approaching result all the more sweet."
Diodora stated, showing a disturbed smile as everything he planned on doing with Asia started replaying inside of his twisted mind. To him, compared to what he'd done before, this one seemed as if it would surpass all of them and be the ultimate masterpiece for him.
[You aren't the only one who has a score to settle. As long as I get paid and pay back, then I'll make sure to follow through with the plan. But, I get dips on those women on his team. I have some slime and tentacles that are just starving for some fresh 'meat'.]
The familiar voice stated as Diodora shrugged his shoulders.
"Fine, I don't care about them either way. Although those two Exorcists are beauties and members themselves, they aren't my particular taste," Diodora stated, wearing a smile and ending the call, then clenched his fist tightly as demonic power surged from it. "Oh, I can't wait to kill that Filthy Dragon."
A/N: And there goes the next chapter of The Twin Dragons, another calm chapter with them still preparing for the Three-Legged Race. But, there was the added scene of a minor threesome inside the storage room between Kazuki, Asia, and Irina. In the end, there was the eventual encounter with one of the worst characters in the series but before that, Kazuki trolled the hell out of him after messing with his magic circle. I'm going to be honest that's a scene that I added on a lack and loved every moment of writing it. XD
In the end, Kazuki and everyone stood up for Asia as the asshole couldn't take no for an answer. But, as we know that's going to end up biting him in the ass in the end. Well, this is where things continue in the redo of The Twin Dragons. After this one, I have three more chapters left with the last one being the final one of this arc. So, I hope that you all look forward to it.
