The Heavenly Dragons, the Red and White Dragons are destined to fight from generation to generation. Their current hosts: both Issei and Kazuki Hyoudou, were born opposites, with separate interests, goals, and traits find themselves walking different paths, leading to their eventual destined battle.

41. The Great Red

Welcome to the next chapter of The Twin Dragons, but before starting. Let us answer some reviews:

YSN Adapt: I was kinda considering it based on what I was reading in the reviews. I'll believe it seeing as there is still some time before that volume.

Nazgul60: I have an idea when Setsuna would make another appearance. I'm kinda surprised that a descendant of Musashi Miyamoto was shown in Junior High School DxD.

Altair: I can imagine that happening seeing as both Euclid and Rob Lucci are obsessed with a particular woman for a different reason.

Guest: I can imagine that Ophis would be aware of what happens around Kazuki. It wouldn't be the oddest thing in the world, seeing as she does whatever she wants. As I had said in the last sentence, Ophis does whatever she wants and no one would stop her, those two would be the most reactive to that one. XD

Xenomorph: Yeah, those two would work well together in terms of interacting with one another, considering their similarities and interests.

Lycans: Yeah, if Azazel does tell them that. More so because the Dragon God of Infinity is after a member of their faction, with few people being able to stop her from doing so. And that would be something that Serafall and Gabriel would be worried about for different reasons.

Star Wes: Well, some parts in the light novel need to happen. It wouldn't make sense that Issei can control his Juggernaut Drive, seeing as he doesn't have the demonic power or training required to control it. I did not see a reason to change that part seeing as Issei activating Juggernaut Drive after seeing the two people that he sees as his siblings being gone in front of him.

Battlefield: I didn't think he was prepared for a meeting with the Hero Faction, with him not being experienced enough to defend her from Cao Cao and the others.

nexusplayer: It's never too late for a review, technically unless the newest chapter is up. That would be something that would make him another opposite to Issei. Hearing the concept of "Dress Make", makes me think of Material Creation from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and Solo Leveling. I can imagine "Love" for Kazuki instead of the "Lust" from Issei, I did think of something similar to that. I think that one with him going passed his limit is possible too, as it does often happen. I do think that Kazuki wouldn't look good with too much muscle mass as he is an agile fighter too.

I think that Observation Haki is an easy one to replicate as it is similar to Ki Sense (or usual energy sensing that is used in the series). And Conqueror's Haki is a release of presence. Light Swords is the simplest to replicate as it is a common skill that Angels can use. And Armament Haki is another one simple enough to implement.

leomessi: Thanks. I'd say that without his Sacred Gear and Scale Mail, Kazuki is strong enough to fight against opponents stronger than average High-Class Devils, more so as his strength as an Angel is a total of eight wings. Based on the standards in True High School DxD, that would be a High-Tier Angel. Because Akeno had a total of eight wings and was considered a High-Tier Fallen Angel. Seeing as Issei who trained himself over the break could erase a mountain and shock Kuroka, someone comparable to Ultimate-Class Devil, then he would be stronger than that. Well, I guess that you'll have to wait and see if that is, in fact, the case. XD

He has improved his swordsmanship from training with Vasco Strada who was considered a monster, on top of his martial arts; and with magic and what he'll be learning that'll be possible too. I am thinking about a lot of ideas for a potential variation of Scale Mail through his Joker Card.

The Great Red

In front of everyone from the Gremory Group looked at the missing spot where Kazuki and Asia stood, wearing a surprised look on their faces. There wasn't a single trace of them left aside from the bright light that seemed to have taken them away.

"An object made from a Longinus perishes from the attack of a Longinus, huh? Damn Mist-user, he eased up. It's necessary to readjust the plan."

An unfamiliar voice caught their attention.

Kiba, who was the most cautious found himself looking to find there was a handsome brown-haired, brown-eyed man wearing light armor with a cape on it. The amount of aura that he released which them to freeze to their core as he floated in the air.

"…Who are you?"

Rias asked, almost livid.

"It's my first time meeting you, sister of the annoying fake Maou," the man stated mockingly, not helping as Rias and the others seemed to increase their hostility. "My name is Shalba Beelzebub, the true successor of the Great True Maou, Beelzebub. I'm different from the relative of the fake one you fought earlier. Diodora Astaroth, I lent you my power, and look at the situation you are in. In the match against Agares, you used Ophis' snake without my authorization and had the enemy predict our plan. You are very foolish indeed."

It was in that instance that everyone realized who the man was, realizing that he was the leader in charge of this. And that moment caused Diodora who had been broken and beaten to look towards Shalba, wearing a pleading look on his face.

"Shalba! Please help me! If it is with you, we could kill them and the Sekiryuutei! If the Old and Current Maou…."

Before Diodora could finish, Shalba narrowed his eyes at the mention of the 'Old Maou', then pointed his hand at him with a suspicious device on his wrist. A beam of light came from it and pierced Diodora's chest.

STAB!

"Pitiful. I even told you the power of that girl's Sacred Gear and yet you couldn't do anything. That explains how useless you are," Shalba stated laughing and mocking Diodora who truly lost all hope as his body started to crumble into dust. "Besides being referred to as Old Maou is worthy enough to warrant your death."

It was then that the people realized that the light looked familiar to the pillar of light which has taken over Kazuki and Asia.

"Now, sister of Sirzechs. It might be sudden, but I will have you die here. The reason is simple. That is to destroy every blood relative of the current Maou."

Shalba stated, glaring at Rias with hatred as if he were staring at Sirzechs, all caused by the authority and status that should have been inherited by them, the Old Maou, their birthright had been stolen from them.

"So you mean to kill Glasya-Labolas, Astaroth, and us, the Gremory."

Rias asked, staring at him.

"That is correct. I planned on targeting Ajuka's niece too, but it seemed as if the previous incident with Glasya-Labolas made him react to hiding her and her parents," Shalba stated, with Rias knowing who he was referring to right then. "It is simply displeasing. We, the true successors, are to be called the "Old" by you people, the relatives of the current Maou, and it is something very hard to endure. Our plan ends with this. I'll admit this is our defeat. I'd never believed that Divine Dividing, a Mid-Tier Longinus would win against the Dimension Lost, a High-Tier one. I can only say that this was something we didn't anticipate. Well, we got significant results for future terrorism, so I have to be satisfied with it. Creuserey died but it won't be a problem. As long as I'm active, we can still progress even without Vali. The True Beelzebub is great. Now, as my souvenir, Sirzechs' sister, I will have you dead."

"You don't challenge the current Maou directly, but kill their relatives, what cowardice!"

Rias stated, glaring at him as her aura increased.

"That's alright. I'll kill the family of the current Maou. It won't mean a thing if we don't have them taste despair."

"Scum! Most of all, the crime of killing Asia and Kazuki! I absolutely won't forgive you!"

Rias raged, unleashing a red aura.

Following their King's lead, Akeno covered herself in holy lightning, Kiba summoned his holy demonic sword, and Xenovia tightened her grip on her holy swords. After everything that happened, with Kazuki being able to rescue Asia, and Asia conquering her past, it ended like this. And the person responsible for it all was acting in the most pettiest manner possible. To them, there wasn't a single level of forgiveness that could repent for the crime that he committed in that instance.

"Kazuki? Asia?"

Issei called out, as he walked around almost without a purpose he tried looking around for Kazuki and Asia but a vacant look appeared on his face.

"Kazuki? Asia? Where did you go? Hey, let's go. We are going home. Dad and Mum are waiting. I-If either of you hide, then we won't be able to go home. Haha, Kazuki sure likes to play around despite being the one who used to sit around and read books," Issei looked on with disbelief in his eyes as he couldn't believe that neither Kazuki nor Asia was there. "Come on, let's go home. Kazuki, you already took care of the guy bullying Asia. So, there is no one left. Even if there was, I'd help you beat them up this time! Come on, there's still the Three-legged race that you two have been practicing for."

Kiba wasn't able to look at Issei like that, with Koneko and Gasper crying after seeming in that state while feeling sad about the possible truth in front of them. Akeno couldn't utter a single word as tears streamed down her face with nothing but sadness in her heart. Xenovia continued tightening her grip on her swords until it seemed almost as if blood was leaking from them. Rias approached Issei, wrapping her arms around him as she felt the same as the group's pillar was falling apart.

"Buchou, I can't find either Kazuki or Asia. Even though we are finally able to go home. We still need to hide like Sensei told us. But, if they aren't here. …D-Dad and Mum said that Asia was like their daughter. Asia also said that Dad and Mum are like her real parents. …She is my…our important family," Issei said with an emotionless face, not knowing how to feel. "And Dad and Mum have always been proud of Kazuki, and so have I when he started breaking out of his shell."

"…I won't forgive you. I won't forgive you! I will cut you! I will cut you up and kill you!"

Xenovia was unable to contain her anger anymore, then rushed at Shalba with Durandal and Ascalon, wreathed in holy aura.

"Futile."

Shalba reflected the holy swords using a barrier, then shot a demonic bullet at Xenovia's stomach, sending her backward. Xenovia landed on the ground with a hard impact, as both her swords were stabbed into the ground, then started crying.

"…Return Asia and Kazuki…. …She is…my friend…! …She is my kind friend…. She was kinder than anyone…! …despite everything…Kazuki would always help me…. If I didn't understand my classes or homework he'd tutor me…! Why…!"

"Vulgar Reincarnated Devil and the Dragon which is the same as garbage," Shalba stated, turning his attention to Issei who looked up. "The Princess of the Gremory seriously has bad taste indeed. I intended on sending that girl into the Dimensional Gap because she served no purpose. But, then the Hakuryuukou jumped in too, meaning I didn't intentionally kill him. That's right, both their bodies should've perished by now. It means they died."

After hearing those words, there was a change in Issei's eyes almost as if something broke and the chains of a monster were unleashed.

[Rias Gremory, leave this place at once. If you don't want to die, then leave here immediately.] Ddraig spoke in a serious tone, as Rias and the others heard him, surprising them before turning his attention to Shalba. [The devil over there. Shalba was your name, right?]

After that, Issei pushed Rias aside, surprising her as he had never done anything like that and he started moving to Shalba almost like a zombie.

[You….] Ddraig sounded as if he was giving one final warning in such a tone with no emotion that it sent chills down their spines. [Made the wrong choice.]

DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

As Issei released a blood-red aura, the entire shrine shook violently, dying the area red. It was something that could be felt on their skin, and then a cursed chant started reaching their ears, but it didn't come from Issei. Instead, it was young and old, male and female, a mixture of several people speaking.

[I, who is about to awaken…]

It started. Looks like it will start.

[Am the Heavenly Dragon that has stolen the principles of domination from God….]

It was always like that, no matter what. That's not right; it was like that every time.

[I laugh at the "infinite", and I grieve at the "dream"….]

The one the World seeks…. The one the World rejects...

[I shall become the Red Dragon of Domination…]

It was always power. It was always love.

You guys choose destruction no matter how many times!

His Scale Mail which was donned during the chant started changing drastically, becoming sharper, growing large wings, and his hands and feet sprouted claws. And the helm changed to resemble more of a dragon with horns coming out from it. Overall, Issei didn't resemble a human anymore, instead taking on the appearance of a Dragon.

"""""""And I shall sink you to the depths of crimson purgatory!"""""""

[Juggernaut Drive!]

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

Issei's surroundings were blown away, everything from the floor, wall, and ceiling was obliterated from the aura alone without resistance.

"Gugyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"

Issei roared, not sounding like a human anymore.

CUT!

Faster than what Kiba could perceive, Issei, who become a miniature Dragon vanished and gnawed on Shalba's shoulder through the helm which obtained a mouth.

"Nggggggggh," Shalba shouted as his shoulder was being munched on, with the sound of his flesh being torn to sunder being audible. "Damn you!"

Shalba extended his arm with light coming from the device on his right arm, but one of the gems on the dragon's arm turned into a blade and cut off that arm.

"Guu!"

Shalba was in pain as blood spread around the floor, Issei spat out the torn-off arm without hesitation, and then he kept approaching him.

"Gegogyuuga-gyhugohaaa! Guoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"

Issei continued shouting as the gems on him started shining as dragon arms and blades sprouted out from them as if the transformation into whatever he turned into was progressing.

"Don't screw around with me!"

Shalba was enraged from being treated like this and released a light blast from the light device on his left arm.

In response to this, the wings on Issei's back started shining with light similar to that of Divine Dividing just as the light was fired at him. And—

[Divide! Divide! Divide! Divide! Divide! Divide! Divide! Divide!]

With that sound, the light bast was halved several times until it became so weak that it was nothing more than a penlight. It was the power that Issei obtained from taking in one of Kazuki's discarded gems.

"That damned power! Damn you! First, he ruined our plan and now he ruined this! Damn that Hakuryuukou!"

Instead of light this time, Shalba released a blast of demonic power much greater than anything that Diodora with Ophis' snake could have managed. As the enormous demonic bullet was being fired at Issei, the Gremory Group could sense that it was the kind of power that could've erased them. However, for Issei in this state, all it took for its path to be altered was flapping his dragon wings with force. It wasn't over as the helm's mouth opened, then a laser cannon mechanism opened from inside it.

A red laser similar to a Dragon Shot came from the mouth, blowing off Shalba's left arm, continuing forward as a thin line was traced along the path, causing another explosion that erased the wall, floor, and ceiling.

"Nuaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"

Issei roared again as an enormous amount of aura was released from him, creating a crater and unveiling that its aura alone would be enough for things to be blown away.

"Y-You Monster! A-Are you telling me this is the Juggernaut Drive!? This is no joke! M-My power should have been raised to that of the Maou, Beelzebub because of Ophis' power! He surpassed the Boosted Gear's specs recorded in the data!"

For the first time, Shalba showed fear of the danger in front of him.

There wasn't a single person in the Gremory Group who couldn't stare at the thing that used to be known as their Issei, their Pawn and emotional pillar who supported them in the worst times. In front of them was a monster who sought absolute destruction. But, it wasn't over as something in the chest and stomach portion of the armor slid open and what looked to be a launcher was revealed.

DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO…

A silent vibration could be heard as a red aura gathered at the launcher, which continued getting bigger as it was being compressed at the launcher. His wings spread as a red light shined from them, causing the surroundings to be dyed red.

"Ku! I can't die in a place like this," Shalba moved to activate a magic circle to teleport, but his legs were stopped. "…You stopped it! My leg!"

It surprised them before noticing that the helm of the armor's eyes shined similar to that of Gasper whenever he used Forbidden Balor View. Not wasting him, Kiba looked to find that Rias and the others much like himself were all dazed from the situation in front of them.

"Buchou, let's retreat at once! We have to evacuate from this shrine!"

Kiba stated as he noticed that Rias was walking forward as if wanting to stop Issei.

"Ise…I…."

Rias would have kept going forward until Kiba stopped her, knowing it wouldn't have ended well.

"My apologies!"

Kiba said, then picked up Rias as Akeno lent Xenovia her shoulder, then Koneko and Gasper followed behind.

[Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost!]

Just then as they proceeded to escape, they heard Issei's Boosted Gear continuing to double the power that it had accumulated until it was almost finished charging.

"I-Impossible…! I, the true successor of the True-Maou! I still haven't made a fool out of Vali yet! Beelzebub is far greater than Lucifer! Curses! A mere dragon! Red dragon! White Dragoooon," Shalba cursed, as he continued to attempt to escape, but then noticed that something black was wrapping around him, resembling a snake. "Ophis! I didn't do anything! I didn't attack him, he got in the way of the attack!"

As Shalba seemed to be begging Ophis, who wasn't there, the attack was finished and was released at him.

[Longinus Smasher!]

An enormous amount of red aura was fired at Shalba whose legs were bounded in time and black snakes made it impossible to avoid anything. He was enveloped in the red aura which continued on sailing and erased the shrine of existence.

Minutes ago, before the incident, those from Kazuki's team, Raynare, Ravel, Mariah, and Irina found themselves dealing with the Rainbow Slime which was empowered by Kojirou. However, after Kazuki defeated the master who was currently tied up and seemed to have been almost beaten to a pulp was passed out near them. As such, the demonic power which has empowered it was lost making this battle more and more a one-sided battle with them. It had gone berserk from the power it obtained already, but that was steadily faltering as the fight kept on.

"Hah!"

Raynare let out a shout as she raised her hand in the air.

Shine!

Several sparkles of light could be seen glittering in the air, before being shot down like lasers that struck and then pierced its rainbow gelatinous body. It was resistant to things like light, but the amount of light that she focused on those lasers penetrated its body. She wasn't alone as Irina added in her light on top of it which amplified the light Raynare's light, leaving it without many options of resisting the light.

"Everyone I'm ready!"

Ravel stated, warning them about the next move that she'd be making.

"Alright!"

"Let it rip~!"

Raynare and Irina stated as the three started noticing the change in the atmosphere.

Around the Rainbow Slime, the wind started swirling around it as if to contain it in the wind barrier that extended to where Raynare and Irina stood, almost turning into a miniature tornado. It was then that the Phenex Clan's fire manifested in her hand, then included it into the twister. And—

Flame!

It immediately turned into a fire tornado, with the flames being increased due to the wind and oxygen, increasing the Phenex's already scorching flames. It was hot enough that the surrounding people could feel the intense heat on their skin despite being a fair distance from it.

"…!"

The Rainbow Slime felt the burning sensation from the intense flames which both surrounded it and continued to increase in intensity. It was burning up from the phoenix flames which was something that could burn a Dragon's scales, leaving it little chance of resisting against the flames. But, it didn't surrender and instead attempted to survive the attack. From its body, ice, wind, light, and darkness started being concentrated, in a last-ditch attempt at pushing back the firestorm.

It seemed to succeed as its body was somewhat protected by Ravel's assault, which soon subsided as it was capable of outlasting it. Just then, instead of seeming worried the Phenex wore a smile on her face, almost as if she were expected such a thing then the reason came in the form of lightning. It didn't originate from Ravel, Raynare, or Irina, instead, it originated from the swordswoman of the group who stood in a prepared stance.

In her hand, Almace was radiating with holy lightning which covered her body too, almost as if she was preparing for a headlong charge. And then it happened, Mariah propelled forward like a bullet, no as if she became a lightning bolt that was aimed straight at the Rainbow Slime.

Due to the amount of power wasted from withstanding the last attack, it couldn't resist or avoid Mariah's assault, then Mariah pierced straight through the Rainbow Slime's gigantic gelatinous body, leaving a large hole in it. But, it didn't end as the lightning surrounding Mariah exploded outwards almost decimating its body without a trace.

After doing that, Mariah turned her body around as she stuck the landed without damaging her body or legs from the intense speed. She then found herself letting a breath escape from her mouth before stabbing Almace right in the ground as a smile graced her face.

"Well, that takes care of that."

Mariah stated with a confident smile.

"You know, you're so annoying because it doesn't seem as if you have a single flaw."

Raynare joked, finding her teammate's actions and maneuvers to be the closest to the meaning of 'perfect'.

"You're talking about me having no flaw, how about our little strategist here?"

Mariah countered sheathing Almace, with Ravel seeming to be flustered about that comment and praise from the older blonde-haired young woman.

"W-Well, it wasn't nothing special. I just thought that if we continued hitting it with attacks than what its resistance could withstand, then Mariah hit it with an attack that it couldn't withstand."

Ravel replied, with the two women staring at each other before glancing back at her with a smile.

"Well, I doubt that anyone else would have thought of that idea aside from Kazuki. But, you make something that sounds amazing and make it sound as if it's nothing for you."

Raynare stated teased, with Ravel blushing at the compliment.

"She's right, you're an amazing strategist and should acknowledge it."

Mariah added placing a comfortable hand on Ravel's head.

"W-Well, if you insist, then I do believe that you should be lucky to have me."

Ravel stated, going full tsundere mode as her hand brushed through her blonde hair, causing the three women to look on smiling in that instance.

"Such a cute Tsundere."

Mariah thought, not voicing her comment to not ruin the moment.

"I have the bounded Kojirou."

Irina stated, finding herself dragging him around through the magic rope that had been used to bind him, with the young man not reacting. It seemed as if the beating from Kazuki almost put him into a miniature coma, with even Irina not being considerate about hauling him around. His body was taking a beating from being dragged all along the ruined ground and dirt, messing up his clothing.

"Hm, well, let's find someplace to keep him. I don't want any one of us to be left alone with him."

Raynare stated, thinking about what to do.

"Isn't Azazel-sensei around here?"

Irina asked, with them mulling over that idea.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

It was in that instance, that further from them, the shrine where the Gremory Group and Kazuki were supposed to be seemed to explode. Surprising them.

"What happened?!"

Ravel asked, surprised about the suddenness of that explosion.

It was then that the blood-red aura that Issei had been releasing from his Juggernaut Drive was being released in the air as the presence alone seemed to tingle their skin even at this distance. Each of them sensed the aura and power originating from that distance with Mariah and Raynare being the most sensitive to the presence. But, just before either of them could make a single comment, there was another sound that caught their attention.

"Gugyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"

The roar and inhuman sound of Issei in his Juggernaut Drive reached their ears, surprising and scaring them as it reached their ears.

"W-What is that?"

Irina was the first to voice her concerns and fears from the inhuman voice reaching their ears.

"I-I don't know, but the presence alone is something that sends a chill down my spine."

Mariah stated.

For someone as causal and lighthearted as her, it spoke volumes about the presence that she was feeling which almost frightened her. She wasn't alone as Raynare and Ravel could sense the presence from this distance and it terrified from to think or imagine who or what could have released such a presence. They weren't alone as the people fighting on the battlefield could sense the same presence, some being their allies.

"Oh dear, it seems as if this has happened with this one too."

A familiar voice caught their attention, with the four women turned around to find Odin staring on while rubbing his bear from seeing this presence.

"Lord Odin?"

Raynare called out, knowing the man from a meeting, and was surprised to find him looking serious at this time.

"What is this presence, Odin-sama?"

Ravel asked, curious about what was happening.

"Juggernaut Drive."

Odin replied, with Raynare making a surprised look.

"W-What?! A Juggernaut Drive from," Raynare who was aware of that term found herself surprised that such an incident occurred. Two people could access that form, with the red aura being a defining trait in the particular person's identity. "Issei?! He activated Juggernaut Drive, but why?!"

"What's that?"

Irina asked, not familiar with that term.

"I heard that it's a unique ability that both the Boosted Gear and Divine Dividing are capable of. It releases the seal on Ddraig-sama's and Albion-sama's power, with the user obtaining power that rivals God and Satan. But, it's a cursed power that drains the user's life force until they die."

Ravel replied, hearing about the Juggernaut Drive, but was as confused about why Issei activated it.

"What happened here? Why would Ise-kun activate such a thing?"

Irina asked, surprised about the incident.

"Hm, something must have happened that caused the Sekiryuutei to react like that. I don't doubt that Azazel Brat and Tannin didn't warn him about Juggernaut Drive, but he was pushed into activating it. That Diodora Brat might have been empowered by Ophis' snake, but not to the level where either Sekiryuutei or Hakuryuukou couldn't defeat him alone."

"Hm, something," Irina thought as her mind wracked different possibilities, then gasped. "Did something happen to either Kazu-chan or Asia-chan?!"

"Let's not jump to conclusions without knowing what happened there. Let's see if we can contact Kazu-sama and see what happened," Ravel replied, and then found herself using a magic circle to contact and communicate with Kazuki, then found that it went through but it was weakened. "Huh, I'm getting through, but the signal is weak and I can barely get into contact with him."

"I guess that something did happen."

We're heading in that direction, but I hope that it isn't a complete transformation, or else there's no way that Nii-san will be able to turn back to normal. Iri-chan head to Azazel and see if he knows how to turn him back. I don't doubt that he wouldn't have a plan just in case something like this happened.]

Kazuki stated, with Irina nodding her head in agreement, then started flying off in the direction that Azazel was.

[Raynare, Mariah, and Ravel. I know that Kojirou should still be there, but head off to where Ajuka-sama is. I can imagine that he's there surveying the situation and would be more than happy to contain him. Near him should be the safest place for you guys too. Meanwhile, the Gremory Group who escaped from the shrine found themselves being protected by Kiba who'd manifested numerous Holy-Demonic Swords as a shelter to block the aftershock. After removing it, they'd borne witness to the destruction caused by that last attack, with the entire shrine being annihilated.

The device produced through Dimension Lost remained but was cracked from the aftermath of the attacks alone, making them realize how powerful Issei was in such a state. Around that time Issei was roaring as if to signify the pain of loss that he experienced, having witnessed his brother what was pretty much his sister fading in front of him.

Conscious or not, that was the feeling that they could feel from Issei's roars as the group could feel the emotions from him. Diodora was defeated by Kazuki and that should've been the end of it, but then he and Asia vanished in front of them. Then Issei defeated Shalba in this new rampaging state, but it wasn't the end as he continued rampaging without seeing an end to it.

"What should I do? What could I do to make Ise-kun return to normal?"

Kiba thought, with the Gremory Group having the same emotions building up in their chests.

"Looks like you guys are in trouble, huh?"

A familiar voice caught their attention, causing them to turn in that direction to find a crack in the space. Coming out of it was Vali, the Wendish Dragon stood with Bikou and Arthur, both of them were people that they had heard about from Kazuki.

"Vali."

Rias called out surprised, but couldn't sense intent on fighting from either of them.

"He's not here to fight."

A familiar voice caught their attention, and they looked shocked to find Kazuki walking right behind him holding an unconscious Asia in his arms.

Rias and the others found themselves surprised with tears almost forming at the corners of their eyes, while they approached them. After that, Xenovia who was the closest to found herself being handed Asia by Kazuki, as she then cradled her best friend in her arms.

"Asia!" Xenovia cried as she found herself beyond thankful to find that her friend was still alive. "Uwaaaaaaaan!"

Kiba asked, turning his attention to Kazuki.

"We ended up being sent into the Dimensional Gap, a dimension beyond this one. At the same time, these guys were investigating the same dimension. I put up a barrier to defend us from the 'nothingness' there."

"Right, if I go at it normally," Kazuki replied, causing Vali and the others among the Vali Team to note that. "But, if I used the same tactic against, then I might have an edge. A younger brother has to give his older sibling a knock on the head if he starts acting like an idiot. Besides, if I couldn't do this much then I don't deserve to be the Hakuryuukou. You guys have a couple of minutes to figure out a way to bring him back to reality. I can't exactly use this for long."

Vali asked, feeling some hint of gratitude for coming here if his assumption was correct.

"I trained all that time over the summer break to control the aura from his Eminence. And getting better acquainted with dragon power that I have from training with Tiamat-san," Kazuki stated, finding himself looking forward with a stronger resolve. "And I became reincarnated into an Angel, with another source of power and life to spare if it goes wrong."

[Hm, hahahaha, well, if you put it like that then you'll make me believe that it'll turn out well.] Albion stated, giving a rare laugh from him. [Alright, then if you're going to do it, then do it with that determined spirit.]

A light brighter than anything compared to before was released from Kazuki's Scale Mail, illuminating the entire area and dyed it white. It reached the point that those around him were forced to cover their eyes, aside from the rampaging Issei who glanced at the incident. But, there was someone else, Vali, who was witnessing this scene wearing a surprised smile on his face.

"I shall become the White Dragon Emperor of Supremacy…"

Just as the white light vanished, what appeared in front of them was a massive white dragon with wings of light spread outwards, but it seemed to maintain most of the armor and was in a controlled state. Aside from physical training, Vasco made Kazuki undergo rigorous mental training, which let him maintain himself. He could feel the enormous power that the Juggernaut Drive provided welling up inside of himself, but maintained himself. Instead of letting it leak and burst out causing destruction, he limited the output as much as possible.

His magic power which became the source instead of his life force was draining at a fast rate, but not the point of it being dangerous for him.

"Alright, let's go."

Kazuki stated as the aura released by him seemed to have been almost a taunt for Issei to attack him. And just that happened as his older brother flapped his massive wings causing a burst of wing while charging straight at his next opponent. Both of them charged at each other at high speeds, almost as a trail of red and white light, the first collision between them caused a massive shockwave.

DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

A blast of pressure was released from the collision between the Sekiryuutei and Hakuryuukou who entered their Juggernaut Drives, causing those watching the fight to cover themselves with a magic barrier.

"It's not how I thought it'd happen, but this is a battle between the Welsh and Vanishing Dragon."

Rias stated, witnessing the battle as it continued without hesitation on either side.

Neither of them could follow the movements aside from those in the Vali Team, the one thing that they could see was trails of red and white light moving throughout the skies and colliding with each other. But, in the fight, those Dragon hosts fought like Dragons, colliding aura, claws, and fangs struck one another with the strength that their Dragons wielded in life. However, Kazuki was limiting the amount of power that his Juggernaut Drive was outputting to limit the amount of power its activation drained.

Issei's mouth helm opened again, firing off a beam of red aura at Kazuki, who charged straight forward and fired off his beam of white aura. A second collision occurred as the two blasts collided respectively dying the sky red and white. Using his light wings, Kazuki soared at high speeds, then found himself moving straight towards his brother, and kneed him in the stomach causing armor fragments to fall off.

[Divide! Divide! Divide!]

At the same time, he halved the amount of power that Issei was releasing a total of three times, causing the aura to become weaker. After that, Issei whipped his tail around as if it were a weapon and ended up straight at Kazuki at the side, causing the armor to crack. Before the tail could retract, Kazuki instead grabbed onto it and then started to spin him around by the tail before tossing him in another direction.

"Is that going to be enough to snap you back, dumbass?! Because your little brother is currently beating you!"

Kazuki stated as his helm opened up releasing another blast at Issei from behind striking his armor.

After that, Issei recovered and then went straight at Kazuki with his claws going straight for him, with the younger one reacting to that. Both their clawed hands linked together with enough force to shake the air as their grip on the other increased.

[Boost! Boost! Boost!]

"Oh, no you don't!"

Kazuki stated as Issei tried multiplying his power to regain it.

[Divide! Divide! Divide!]

At the same time, Kazuki divided the power back down to the previous level.

It was then that it looked as if Issei reeled back his head and then swung forward for a headbutt, then Kazuki had moved his head back to avoid it.

"…?"

It was that maneuver that brought back a memory.

Both of them were children who went to a local park with their parents, then some bully stole Kazuki's book. And it was, of course, when he was frail for a child, unable to defend himself. It was during that time when Issei intervened, tackling the bully to the ground, and then the two started wrestling with each other. Kazuki recalled the memories that happened, making him realize more and more the reason that Issei ended up in this situation in the first place.

"He's an undeniable pervert. He had to have Devil's luck even as a Human because it's surprising he has never been suspended or expelled for it. Again, Issei reeled back his head, but this time instead of avoiding it, Kazuki reeled back his head, almost as if he were accepting it. And then the two found themselves slamming their heads against one another, resulting in a shockwave that spread outwards. Their clashes continued with different strikes and hits that ended up landing on one another causing fragments to crack. During that clash, Kazuki felt the slightest reaction within the spirit of Issei, feeling a similar resonance when he would use Pailingual.

"…."

Kazuki couldn't hear anything, but he felt the faint presence of Issei deep within the confines of Boosted Gear.

"…Nii-san?"

Kazuki asked, but the reaction still seemed weak, and couldn't get any closer to reaching him.

"I figured that Kazuki would be able to unlock Juggernaut Drive," Vali said as if he were enjoying the scene that was playing out in front of him. "It was a smart move to lessen the actual output of the form to lessen the amount of power drained to maintain it. Though, it appears as if he won't be able to sustain it for that long."

As Vali enjoyed the scene in front of him, both Akeno and Koneko approached him and caused the silver-haired young man to glance at him.

"I know we are not in a position to ask, but please. Please help us save him," Akeno had begged not wanting either Issei or Kazuki to be hurt because of the Juggernaut Drive. "You know more about the Dragon powers. So, there has to be a way to bring back his consciousness?"

"…Please," Koneko who normally never shows her emotions was in a state almost near panic "We will also help using our full strength, so please let us borrow your power to bring him back…."

Based on the previous actions, most would've thought that Vali was going to decline their pleas, however, that wasn't what happened.

"Yeah. It would work if there is something which will stimulate his heart…."

"Wouldn't it be okay if we just show him Oppai?"

Hearing the word "Oppai" from Bikou as the question, that was the first conclusion had already come up with, but none of them wanted to say it out loud.

After landing on the ground, it looked as if Irina was tired from the flight and rushing there, and then found herself breathing out to regain her composure. "I managed to get her in time. Wait, is that what Kazu-chan and Ise-kun look like in their Juggernaut Drives? Kazu-chan told me to go to Azazel-sensei to see if there was a way to turn Ise-kun back. So, he and Sirzechs-sama made me carry this secret weapon here."

Her high spirit was enough to break through the dangerous atmosphere, with Rias and them noticing that Irina had carried a device that seemed to be a holographic device in her hands.

"I don't get it, but if it is something prepared by Onii-sama and Azazel, then we can depend on its effect."

Mariah was the same as she found herself tearing up too.

"Hyoudou Issei. Looks like you are alright."

"Yeah. Looks like I caused you trouble."

"Well, it may be alright at times. More than that, it's about time. Look up the sky."

"?"

Despite the differences between them, Issei and Kazuki found themselves grateful for this situation. But, then he mentioned something that neither of them could comprehend before something started happening right them in that dimension.

BREAK! BREAK!

Cracks in the dimension opened up, with the white sky dyed a mix of red and white opened with, as a gigantic hole opened.

"That…."

Issei was so shocked by what came out of the gigantic dimensional hole, that his dropped.

"…is one gigantic Dragon."

Kazuki finished.

Bearing witness to the gigantic red dragon flying in front of them, no red wouldn't be the right term, it would be a closer description to be, true red, closer to that of crimson, if not scarlet. Noticing the giant true-red dragon flying majestically in the air made them notice it was easily hundreds of meters bigger than Dragons like Tannin.

"Look carefully, Hyoudou Issei, Hyoudou Kazuki. That is the one, I wanted to see," Vali started, finding himself looking at the Dragon almost as if it were his target and his alone. Two kinds of Dragons are called 'Red Dragons'. One, the Ancient Dragon of Wales that resists in you, Ddraig, the Welsh Dragon, the Sekiryuutei. The Hakuryuukou comes from the same origins and myth, but it's the White Dragon. But, there is one more 'Red Dragon'. That is the Red Dragon which is recorded in Revelation."

"The Book of Revelations. The Great Red."

Kazuki uttered finding himself, hearing about such a legendary Dragon's name from Tiamat, but seeing him up close like that was a different experience.

"The True God Emperor of Red Dragon. Apocalypse Dragon, the Great-Red. It's the great dragon which is called the 'True Dragon'. It chose to live in the Dimensional Gap and swim there for eternity. Today, we came here to confirm 'that'. The field of the Rating Game is inside a section in the dimensional gap by putting on a barrier. This time, Ophis's true aim was to confirm that. Shalba's plan was something which wasn't important to us."

"But why is it flying in a place like this?"

"No idea. There are lots of opinions about it…. That is Ophis' 'aim' and the 'target' I wish to defeat," Vali stated, having the clearest eyes thus far. "The one that I want to fight the most. The Apocalypse Dragon, Great Red, the Dragon of Dragons, DxD. I want to become the Kokuryuukou, the 'Black Dragon'. And then, in the end, I want to become the ultimate class for Black Dragons, the True God Emperor of Black Dragons. It'll be on that day when I defeat Great Red, I'll earn that title."

Vali spoke with such confidence and belief that people could sense his fighting spirit on their skin. He stood as the great-grandson of Lucifer and someone who housed a Sacred Gear with the potential to become a Longinus no different from Boosted Gear and Divine Dividing. But, there the people could see that his ambition didn't end at that level and was aimed at the pinnacle of the world.

"Well, if that's the case then as someone who stands beside the Red Dragon as the White Dragon, then it would be a given that I'll have to walk that same path," Kazuki found himself uttering wearing a smile. "If there isn't one, a White Dragon who stands at that level, then I'll be the first who reaches it. It gives another meaning to that one line in the chant of the Juggernaut Drive. So, I'll pursue the ultimate class of White Dragons."

Kazuki found himself getting another reason for pursuing mastering Divine Dividing and the powers he gained. It was then that Issei again found himself smiling at the ambitions that his brother obtained compared to their time growing up as children, wanting to be stronger.

"Great Red. It has been a while."

Just then, Ophis appeared out of nowhere standing beside Kazuki without giving the slightest sign of her being there until she spoke.

"Who is that girl…? She wasn't there before."

Issei asked, surprised about her presence.

"Ophis. She's the Ouroboros. She's also the head of Khaos Brigade."

Hearing those words caused the people around them, not aware of that fact to become surprised about her being there without hesitation. Standing in front of them was the leader of the Khaos Brigade, the Dragon God who had 'infinite' power, someone neither of them could defeat. However, Ophis showed no attention or focus to either of them, as if their presence wasn't a factor.

"I shall get my hands on silence."

Ophis stated, wearing a faint smile as she pointed her finger at Great Red as if she were pointing a gun at him. If it was the real him in front of her, instead of an image, then there was a chance that Ophis would've fired. But, as Kazuki is there too, then the attack might have caught him in it too which was another reason.

FLAP!

At the sound of flapping wings, Tannin found himself appearing and landing with a heavy thud, with him was Azazel, both of whom seemed to be looking at Ophis.

"Sensei, Old-man!"

"Oh, Ise. Looks like you are back to normal. I was scared about what would happen to you, but I knew you would revert to normal with that song and women's breasts. You are the big idiot who reached Balance Breaker by pressing women's tits after all. Looks like it wasn't a waste that I made the lyrics for that song," Azazel said, with a smile on his face. "By the way, the offer came from Sirzechs. That guy and Serafall were so eager in it that they composed the music and even made the choreography for it."

"Hahahaha. To be expected from the breast-loving Sekiryuutei! Oh. Looks like something outrageous appeared while we were following Ophis."

Tannin said while laughing as he and Azazel glanced at Great Red.

"How nostalgic. Great Red, huh."

"Have you also fought him Tannin?"

"No, he didn't even pay attention to me."

Tannin shook his head, showing that even a Dragon King wasn't an opponent for Great Red.

"It's been a while, Azazel," Vali spoke up casually to Azazel. "Did you defeat Creuserey Asmodeus?"

"Sirzechs was the one who took care of him. If their leaders are taken down, then their henchmen will run away. Looks like Shalba Beelzebub was taken care of by Ise in Juggernaut Drive."

"And Onii-sama?"

Rias asked.

"The barrier collapsed, so he returned to the observation room," Azazel replied, before turning to Ophis. "Ophis. The guys from the Old-Maou faction who were rampaging in each area either retreated or surrendered. In reality, the Old-Maou faction which was controlled by the descendants is now basically finished."

"Yes. That is also one of the conclusions."

Ophis replied, not showing much concern about them. She lost them, but in the end, the Shalba, intention or not targeted and almost hurt Kazuki, which was another main reason.

"Among you guys, the group with power apart from Vali is the faction assembled by the humans who are either the descendants of heroes or Sacred Gear users. I think they were called Hero Faction, right," Azazel asked, but Ophis didn't respond and instead looked as if she didn't care. Noticing such a thing, he pointed a spear of light at Ophis. "Now, Ophis. Shall we fight?"

As people wondered whether or not the two bosses would fight, Ophis instead looked as if nothing happened.

"I will go home," Ophis stated, wearing a smile as she turned to Kazuki. "I'll see you again, Kazuki."

"Alright."

Kazuki replied, not having any hate for Ophis, who had supported and helped him out a lot in serious situations.

"Wait! Ophis!"

Tannin called out, knowing that Ophis would vanish and this fight with the Khaos Brigade wouldn't end with her as the leader.

"Tannin. The dragon-kings are gathering once again," Ophis said, with an almost faint smile on her face, as she looked at Tannin, with the presence of Fafnir, Tiamat, and Vritra being known to her. "This will turn interesting."

And just like that, Ophis vanished as the air vibrated with her seeming to have teleported away from there.

"We will also retreat."

Vali stated, having no reason to be there anymore.

At that Arthur retrieved Caliburn from his sheath then cut open a path in the dimension and to another location.

"Hyoudou Issei, Hyoudou Kazuki. Do you want to defeat me?"

"…I do. But, you are not the only one I want to surpass. I want to surpass Kiba, who is in the same group as me, and I also want to surpass my pal, Saji. And of course, my rival and brother here. There are so many things I want to surpass."

Issei replied.

"Me too. There are those I want to defeat besides you. This is weird. Looks like the current Sekiryuutei and the current Hakuryuukou have dreams and objectives more important than their destined fight. And then there was me, too. Maybe you and I are weird dragons. But something like that might be good at times. But one day…."

Vali stated, wearing a smile.

"Yeah, let's settle it. It will be a trouble if Buchou and Akeno-san's oppai were reduced."

Issei stated, wearing a smile as he pointed his fist at Vali.

"The sad thing is that he thought that was a cool line. But, I still need a good punch on you after threatening my mom and dad from before."

Kazuki added, smiling and pointing out his fist too.

"Like I thought, you two are truly amusing. Get stronger."

Vali returned the gesture, with the Red Dragon, White Dragon, and Black Dragon coming together with their fists connected in a three-way fist bump. It was such a scene to see the three Dragon hosts coming to a mutual agreement with one another without hesitation.

"See ya, Oppai Dragon! And also Switch Princess!"

Bikou called out, with Rias and Issei glaring at him for that comment for two different reasons, with Rias looking flustered about that comment.

"Kiba Yuuto-kun. Xenovia-san. Mariah-san," Arthur called out, turning to them. "I am the user of Holy King Sword and a descendant of Arthur Pendragon. Call me Arthur. One day, let's have a battle of swords. Goodbye."

After that, Arthur gave one final respectful bow something that made them see more and more that the man was a gentleman and swordsman. The three men of the Vali Team left, with everyone wondering what the reason was for them to aid them like that despite being enemies.

"This time, let's go home for real Asia. To our home."

Kazuki stated wearing a smile.

"Yes. Ah, I need to see Okaa-san too. I also want to see Otou-san too."

Asia replied, finding herself recalling that she knocked out Miki using magic.

"Yeah, let's head…back."

After that, Issei passed out from exhaustion, but before falling to the ground, Kiba found himself catching Issei.

"Ise-kun?!"

Kiba called out surprised about that.

"It's just exhaustion from the Juggernaut Drive. Hah, he already had an issue using the power he obtained from the Divine Dividing taking his life force, but now he went up and used Juggernaut Drive," Azazel had stated, letting a sigh escape from his mouth. "I'm surprised you're still up and standing. Vali was tired after using Juggernaut Drive the first time himself."

"Oh, no I'm tapped out too."

Kazuki casually replied, wearing a tired smile before passing out himself.

"I got you."

Raynare stated calmly, holding out her arms as Kazuki fell into them and gave him a comfortable spot to sleep on her chest. She then looked at Rias with a cocky smile, as if saying that she was a better lover than her with Rias narrowing her eyes at them. After everything was said and done, everyone decided to head out so the two passed-out Dragon hosts would have a place to rest.

A/N: And there goes the next chapter of The Twin Dragons, well, this is the final chapter of the rewrite for this redo for the Twin Dragons. In this one, it was almost the same as the canon, with some differences in comparison. Due to Odin, Kazuki's team managed to contact Kazuki who was in the Dimensional Gap with Asia, where he gave them orders on what to do. Returning with the Vali Team, Kazuki ended up activating his Juggernaut Drive and managed to control it by lowering the overall output. The end was pretty much the same, I know, but I added the fact that Kazuki did reach Issei underneath the armor before that. And, the group ended up seeing Great Red for the first time.

From this point, it's going to be the official start of the future rewrite, but the original is still located in the DxD Fandom. In the end, I decided to add Kunou to Kazuki's harem because of the relationship that she has with Ophis. But, there is still another reason as they have some similarities based on what I could see too.

For another suggestion, does anyone believe that I should add Jeanne with Issei or leave her there with Kazuki? On top of that, I thought about Brynhildr and Mirana in the future too.
