BTWF Last Gasp (Night 1 Part 2)
Enzo Amore's 'SAWFT is a Sin' played, the crowd exploding into cheers as Connie Springer came running out of the back with a microphone in his hand. Connie looked around at the cheering crowd while on the stage, and pulled up the microphone so that he could catch more of the cheers on the live microphone. Connie nodded at the crowd's boisterous reaction for him and moonwalked to the center of the stage before bringing the microphone to his mouth.
"Silver Springs, Maryland, how you doin'!?" Connie exclaimed, the crowd exploding into cheers, and chanting Connie's name. Connie danced in place in response to the chants before bringing the microphone back to his mouth.
"Hey, I'm doin' great too! Tonight is the night where I springboard to the top of the BTWF when I take the BTWF Cruiserweight Championship from that chode Kazuma, and put that title around this sexy waist!" Connie exclaimed as the crowd continuing to cheer before Connie gave the crowd a pelvic thrust and swivel before going back to talking while making his way down the entranceway.
"You know, Kazuma, for the past couple of weeks, has been saying that I can't beat him and that I'm just going to be another feather in his cap. But let me tell y'all something, Kazuma's gonna need eyes like a hawk when I'm in that ring! Once I get going, I can't stop, and a few women can confirm that!" Connie continued exclaiming, and when he ran over to the steel steps, Connie looked into the camera and winked at the ladies at home before running into the ring, rolling to the center, and raising his microphone up, the crowd cheering louder.
"Now as much as I'd love to talk all your ears off, talk about how Megumin and Darkness have to slow down in bed so that Kazuma can catch up, or how the only reason Kazuma beat me back in December was because of Megumin and Darkness, but let's get this match started, and my Cruiserweight title reign started on the highest of high notes!" Connie exclaimed, dropping the microphone outside, leaving it to be caught by a ring attendant as he jumped up to the top turnbuckle, and sat down waiting for Kazuma to come out.
"Strong words from the #1 contender here. Can Connie back them up tonight against the champion?" Striker asked as 'Fresh' by Artist vs. Poet played, the crowd booing as Kazuma walked out of the back with Megumin and Darkness in his arms. Kazuma told the camera to go down, telling him to focus on the BTWF Cruiserweight Championship, and telling the audience at home that Connie was never going to come near the BTWF Cruiserweight Championship. The camera then focused back on Kazuma and his girls, as Kazuma briefly let go of Megumin and Darkness, outstretching his arms with open hands.
"The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the BTWF Cruiserweight Championship! Introducing the challenger, from Ragako, Wall Rose in Paradis Island, Connie Springer! And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Megumin and Darkness, from Tokyo Japan, he is the BTWF Cruiserweight Champion, Kazuma Sato!" Tim Barr announced as Kazuma, Megumin, and Darkness walked down to the entranceway, ignoring the booing fans and basically talking trash about Connie, saying that this was going to be a walk in the park and the easiest payday he'd ever have.
"Kazuma, ever since becoming the BTWF Cruiserweight Champion, has had his ego grow…somehow even bigger than it already had been," Kotoko explained as when the three of them made it to the ringside area, Megumin and Darkness kissed Kazuma on the cheek, the crowd booing louder as Kazuma told the crowd that he was a stud. Megumin and Darkness let go of Kazuma, wishing him good luck before walking over to another side of the ring. Kazuma climbed up to the ring apron and smirked at Connie, who simply smirked back, motioning for him to come into the ring. Kazuma walked into the ring, took off the BTWF Cruiserweight Championship, and handed it to the referee, telling him to be careful with it, because it was worth more than his life.
"Well, this is Kazuma's first singles championship reign in fanfiction wrestling. Can you blame him for being full of himself?" Bob countered as Connie jumped off of the top turnbuckle and strutted right over to Kazuma. The crowd cheered as Connie grabbed the BTWF Cruiserweight Championship, and put it around his waist, telling the crowd he was giving them a sneak peek of the end of this match. Kazuma became furious at this and yelled at the referee to get his BTWF Cruiserweight Championship away from Connie, which the referee obliged.
"Connie's really getting into Kazuma's head before this match, and Kazuma needs to make sure that he's 100% focused on retaining the BTWF Cruiserweight Championship. If he doesn't, Connie may have just given us a spoiler, rather than a prediction," Striker explained as the referee was able to take the BTWF Cruiserweight Championship from Connie, raised it over his head, and gave it to the ringside attendant. The referee made sure that Kazuma and Connie were ready before the referee told the timekeeper to ring the bell, and when they did, Kazuma and Connie locked up in the middle of the ring.
"This match is underway, and we're starting off with an intense lockup, Kazuma and Connie trying to push each other," Kotoko explained as Connie attempted to push Kazuma into the corner, but Kazuma was able to maneuver himself out of the way, allowing him to push Connie into the corner. The referee got in between them, threatening to count them out, and Kazuma appeared to have broken the lock up cleanly, but the crowd booed as Kazuma slapped Connie's chest disrespectfully, telling him that he doesn't belong in the same ring as him. Connie nodded with a chuckle before slapping Kazuma in the face as a receipt, the crowd cheering as Kazuma fell on his ass due to not expecting the slap.
"Kazuma getting sent down with a hard slap to the side of the face, Connie showing that he's not going to let Kazuma disrespect him!" Striker exclaimed as Connie immediately grabbed Kazuma, and locked him in a Side Headlock. Kazuma was able to counter Connie's Side Headlock with a Headscissors, pushing into his throat before Connie pulled himself up with a headstand. Kazuma looked at Connie with a raised eyebrow, the crowd cheering as Connie escaped the headscissors, and hit a seated Kazuma with a Basement Dropkick to the face. Kazuma attempted to roll into the corner, but Connie grabbed Kazuma by the hair and hit him with several right-handed jabs to the face.
"Connie quickly turned this match into a fight, using Kazuma's face as a punching bag!" Bob exclaimed as Connie threw Kazuma into the corner, but when Connie ran into the corner, Kazuma dodged the move Connie attempted, and attempted to roll him up with a Small Package, putting his feet on the middle rope.

Connie quickly got back to his feet and nailed Kazuma with a punch hard enough to send him back into the corner. Connie ran the ropes, and, much to the crowd's delight, was able to hit a Running Stinger Splash to Kazuma's chest. Connie then threw Kazuma out of the corner, jumped onto the middle rope, and hit a stunned Kazuma with a Diving Middle Rope Hurricanrana. The crowd continued cheering as Connie ran the ropes, springboarded off of the middle rope, and hit a Springboard Arm Drag. Kazuma got back to his feet and attempted to hit Connie with a punch, but Connie dodged and hit Kazuma with an Atomic Drop.
"Connie preventing Kazuma from getting the quick and cheap victory, and is now dominating him with his high-flying moveset!" Striker exclaimed as Connie ran the ropes, and springboarded in front of Kazuma, hitting him with a Springboard Facebuster. The crowd continued cheering as Connie ran the ropes, and hit a Running Senton Bomb onto Kazuma's chest before putting him in a seated position, jumping onto the middle rope, and hitting Kazuma with a Diving Middle Rope Uppercut to the back of Kazuma's neck before going for the pin, hooking both of his legs back.

"Connie running and bouncing around this ring like a bouncy ball, and even Megumin and Darkness look dizzy keeping up with him!" Kotoko exclaimed as Connie picked Kazuma up, and hit him with several Knife-Edge Chops to the chest before Irish whipping him into the ropes. However, when Kazuma rebounded, he kicked Connie in the chest and pushed him into the corner, the crowd booed as he punched Connie in the side of the head, sending him falling to his knees. Kazuma then started choking Connie with his foot, the crowd continuing to boo while Megumin and Darkness were cheering him on from ringside.
"Kazuma doing the smart thing here, trying to slow down Connie to prevent more of his high-flying attacks," Striker noted as Kazuma ran the ropes, and attempted to hit him with a Running Face Wash, but Connie was able to roll out of the way. Kazuma's foot hit the bottom turnbuckle, and this allowed Connie to roll Kazuma out of the corner, but when Kazuma attempted to roll out of the Victory Roll, Connie hit a Rolling Kick to the side of his head. Connie then grabbed Kazuma's arm, attempting to hit him with the Eat Defeat, but Kazuma was able to pull himself out of the hold and rolled out of the ring to get some comfort from Megumin and Darkness. Connie rolled his eyes in annoyance before running the ropes, and hitting Kazuma in the side of the face with a Baseball Slide Dropkick, sending him crashing into the barricade, with Megumin and Darkness quickly backing away.
"Kazuma getting sent right into the fan barricade, Connie wisely not letting Kazuma get enough time to recover!" Bob exclaimed as Connie applauded himself with the crowd applauding with him. Connie then noticed that Kazuma was staggering back to his feet, with Connie responding by springboarding off of the middle rope and hitting Kazuma with an Asai Moonsault. The crowd continued cheering as Connie picked Kazuma up, sending his face smashing into the fan barricade several times before jumping up onto the fan barricade.

"Connie continuing his domination of the Cruiserweight Champion, sending his face crashing into the fan barricade!" Kotoko exclaimed as Connie walked across the top of the fan barricade, and attempted to hit Kazuma with another Hurricanrana, but the crowd booed as Kazuma was able to catch him in mid-air. The crowd continued booing as Kazuma walked over to the steel steps, with Connie attempting to fight out of what Kazuma had planned with punches to the side of the face. This didn't stop Kazuma as he made it to the steel steps, and hit Connie with a Powerbomb right on top of the steel steps.
Ref: …4…5…6
"Oh, my God! Kazuma taking control of this match back in a big way! Connie's back has literally been bent over the steel steps!" Striker exclaimed as Kazuma held the side of his head in pain. Connie slipped off of the steel steps, and Kazuma responded by stomping on Connie's chest and head multiple times, rolling back into the ring to break the count. Kazuma then slid back out of the ring, the crowd continuing to boo as Kazuma told the crowd to shut up and that Connie's lucky streak was over. Connie was seated in front of the side of the steel steps, and Kazuma responded by hitting Connie with a Hesitation Dropkick to the face, sending the back of Kazuma's head bouncing off the side of the steel steps.
"Kazuma once again using the steel steps to his advantage, and Connie looks like he's going to pass out!" Bob exclaimed as Kazuma grabbed Connie and threw him back into the ring. Kazuma then walked over to Megumin, and pointed at his cheek, the crowd booing as Megumin kissed on him the cheek. The crowd booed even louder as Kazuma did the same thing with Darkness before jumping onto the ring apron, hitting a Springboard Apron Senton to Connie's back. Kazuma started stomping on Connie's back multiple times before grabbing him and throwing him into the corner. Kazuma condescendingly patted Connie in the side of the face and hit him with several Knife-Edge Chops to the chest before running the ropes and hitting him in the side of the head with a Running Single Leg Corner Dropkick.
"What a Corner Dropkick by Kazuma! I could've sworn I saw a tooth flying out of his mouth!" Kotoko exclaimed as Kazuma continued the assault in the corner, punching him multiple times in the side of the face before putting him in a Front Facelock, and hitting him with a Tornado DDT. The crowd booed as Kazuma kipped back up to his feet, and blew a sarcastic kiss to the jeering fans before hitting Connie with several stomps to the side of the head. Kazuma then put Connie in a seated position, kicking him several times in the back before running the ropes and hitting Connie in the back of the head with a Running Grounded European Uppercut.
"Kazuma now making sure to keep Connie grounded, targeting the head and the back," Striker explained as Kazuma ran the ropes, and hit several Leg Drops across Connie's throat. Kazuma then ground the heel of his boot on the top of his head, mocking the crowd by clapping and telling the crowd to cheer for Connie to help him. Kazuma then hit Connie in the face with a Jumping Stomp before hitting him with a Standing Moonsault before going for the pinfall, hooking both of his legs back.
Ref: 1…2
"Kazuma's confidence is through the roof as he's able to keep Connie from even sitting up," Bob noted as Kazuma picked Connie up, and hit him with several punches to the side of the head. The crowd cheered as Connie attempted to fight back with several punches to the side of the face, but the crowd went back to booing as Kazuma was able to block one of Connie's punches and take him back down with a Russian Leg Sweep. The crowd continued booing as Kazuma hit a Jumping Knee Drop to the top of Connie's face before picking him back up and hitting him with a Back Drop Suplex.
"Kazuma with a nice Russian Leg Sweep counter to maintain control of this match and stop Connie from regaining control!" Striker exclaimed as Kazuma grabbed Connie, and locked him in the Abdominal Stretch, the crowd booing as Kazuma yelled in Connie's ear to tap out. Connie attempted to reach for the ropes while continuing to be stretched out, but Kazuma was able to pick Connie up off of the floor, hitting him with an Inverted Backbreaker, and then locking him back in the Abdominal Stretch. Megumin and Darkness are yelling at Connie to tap out, but Connie shakes his head as he tries to pull himself out of the Abdominal Stretch.
"Kazuma not letting this hold go, bending Connie's back as much as he can!" Bob exclaimed as Connie started punching Kazuma in the face, the crowd cheering as Connie was able to free himself from Kazuma's grasp. The crowd continued cheering as Connie hit Kazuma with several punches to the side of the face and kicked him in the side of the head before running the ropes, but the crowd booed as Kazuma was able to take Connie down with a Flapjack. The crowd continued booing as Kazuma ran the ropes and punted Connie in the side of the skull before going for the pinfall.
Ref: 1…2..
"Kazuma nearly kicked Connie's head off with that Punt, stopping Connie's attempt at a flurry!" Kotoko exclaimed before Kazuma stomped on Connie's gut a couple of times before climbing up to the top turnbuckle. Kazuma pats his elbow, responding to the jeering crowd, but the crowd went back to cheering as Connie had gotten back up to his feet and jumped up to hit Kazuma in the chest with a Dropkick. The crowd continued cheering as Connie cricked his back and neck before jumping up to the top rope, and taking Kazuma off of the top turnbuckle with a Super Frankensteiner.
"Connie taking control back in a big way, as he throws Kazuma off of the top rope with a Frankensteiner!" Striker exclaimed as Connie went into the corner, cricking his back again while waiting for Kazuma to get back to his feet. When he did, the crowd cheered as Connie ran at Kazuma, knocked him down with two Clotheslines, punched Kazuma in the gut, gave him an Uppercut, and then ran the ropes to take Kazuma down with a Tilt-a-Whirl Headscissors. The crowd continued cheering as when a dazed Kazuma got up, Connie ran at Kazuma and took him back down with a Running Two-Handed Bulldog before going for the pinfall.
Ref: 1…2…
"Kazuma kicking out at a two count after that Running Facebuster, but he looks like he's not on this planet anymore!" Bob exclaimed as Connie picked Kazuma up, ran the ropes, and hit Kazuma with a Hurricanrana Driver that sent his head crashing into the mat. Connie then pointed to the sky while moonwalking to the corner, jumping up to the top turnbuckle, and attempting to hit Kazuma with a Moonsault. However, Kazuma was able to roll out of the way, but the crowd exploded into cheers as Connie was able to land on his feet, hitting a still-laying Kazuma with a Standing Shooting Star Press to the chest.
"Connie with an amazing display of athleticism, landing on his feet from a missed Moonsault, AND hitting Kazuma with that Standing Shooting Star Press!" Striker exclaimed in shock as Connie picked Kazuma up, and attempted to hit him with a DDT, but Kazuma pushed him away, but when he attempted to hit him with a kick to the side of the head, Connie was able to duck and send Kazuma falling into the ropes with an Enziguri. Connie then ran the ropes and walked up Connie's back to hit him with a Guillotine Leg Drop across the back of the neck. The crowd continued cheering as Connie pushed Kazuma away from the ropes, and springboarded back into the ring with a Springboard Frog Splash before going for another pin, hooking both of his legs back.
Ref: 1…2…
"You can say a lot of things about Kazuma, but one thing we cannot deny is that he is a resilient competitor when the Cruiserweight belt is on the line," Bob admitted as Connie looked surprised and slightly impressed at Kazuma kicking out. Connie nodded before jumping back up to the top turnbuckle, attempting once again to hit a Moonsault, but the crowd booed as Megumin jumped up to the top rope, yelling at Connie and telling him to get down. Connie told Megumin to get down and mind her business, but the crowd booed as Kazuma clubbed Connie in the back multiple times.
"Megumin proving her worth as a ringside manager, allowing Kazuma to once again take control of this title match!" Striker exclaimed as Kazuma got back up onto the top rope, and punched Connie in the side of the face multiple times. However, the crowd began cheering again as Connie hit Kazuma with several headbutts to the face, dazing him enough for Connie to grab Kazuma by the head. The crowd exploded into cheers as Connie jumped over Kazuma and hit him with a Top Rope Sliced Bread #2 before going for the pinfall, hooking both of his legs back.
Ref: 1…2…
"What a Sliced Bread #1 by Connie! I CANNOT believe that Kazuma kicked out of that!" Kotoko exclaimed in shock as Connie looked just as shocked as Kotoko sounded. Connie sighed, putting a hand over his mouth before picking Kazuma up, and putting him in a Fireman's Carry. Connie hit Kazuma with a Gutbuster before running the ropes, springboarding off of the middle rope to hit a Springboard Elbow Drop to the back of Kazuma's neck. Connie picked Kazuma up and threw him into the corner, the crowd continuing to cheer as Connie ran the ropes, attempting to hit him with a One-Man Poetry-in-Motion. However, Kazuma was able to pick Connie up in mid-air and hit him with a Backbreaker before going for the pinfall.
Ref: 1…2…
"Kazuma showing off some strength you wouldn't expect from a Cruiserweight with that unique Backbreaker!" Striker exclaimed as Kazuma looked annoyed that Connie kicked out, and after almost falling to his feet from being dazed, Kazuma picked Connie up and hit him with a Reverse Atomic Drop and a Scoop Slam. The crowd continued booing as Kazuma started climbing up to the top rope, telling the crowd that he wasn't done yet, and when he got to the top turnbuckle, Kazuma hit Connie with a Diving Elbow Drop to the chest before going for another pinfall.
Ref: 1…2…
Kazuma ran his hands through his hair when Connie kicked out again, getting back to his feet and stomping on Connie several times.
"Kazuma only getting a two count out of that picture-perfect Elbow Drop from the top turnbuckle, and he seems really frustrated!" Kotoko exclaimed as Kazuma picked Connie up, and attempted to hit him with a Teardrop Suplex, but Connie was able to land on his feet. However, Kazuma was able to see this coming and send Connie falling out of the ring through the middle rope with a Discus Punch to the face. Kazuma once again almost fell to the ground from exhaustion and pain, but when he got back up, he smirked before running the ropes and sending Connie falling on top of the announcers' table with a Suicide Dive.
"Kazuma showing Connie that he's not the only one that can fly through the ropes!" Bob exclaimed as Kazuma once again gets huge from both Megumin and Darkness, the crowd booing louder as both girls once again kissed Kazuma on the cheek. Kazuma then grabbed Connie by the hair and hit him with several punches to the face before laying him on top of the announcers' table. The crowd continued booing as Kazuma started walking up to the steel steps, and the boos got louder as Kazuma climbed up to the top rope. Kazuma dived off of the top rope, attempting to hit another Diving Elbow Drop, but the crowd cheered as Connie was able to barely roll out of the way, causing Kazuma to land on the announcers' table. Though the table didn't break, Kazuma landed right on his arm, holding it in pain while yelling out.
Ref: 1…2…3
"Oh, God! Kazuma missed Connie, and probably broke his arm thanks to that failed Elbow Drop!" Bob exclaimed while wincing. Connie got back up to his feet and punched Kazuma in the face several times before throwing him back into the ring. The crowd continued cheering as Connie climbed up to the top rope and hit him with a Frog Splash before going for the pinfall.
Ref: 1…2…
Connie looked shocked that Kazuma kicked out, but he quickly picked Kazuma back up and hit him with a Stunner. While Kazuma was stunned, Connie ran the ropes and attempted to hit him with a Running Crossbody, but the crowd booed as Kazuma hit him with a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker. The crowd booed as Kazuma put him in a seated position, and attempted to run the ropes for a Penalty Kick, but Connie was able to dodge the kick, kicked Kazuma in the gut, and then staggered back to his feet, grabbing his arm. However, before he could hit the Eat Defeat, Kazuma kicked Connie in the knee and hit him with a Snap DDT before going for a pinfall, hooking both of his legs back.
Ref: 1…2…
"I'm amazed that after everything these two athletes have gone through, they're still kicking out and countering these moves!" Kotoko exclaimed as Kazuma looked as though he was going to pull his hair out. The crowd continued booing as Kazuma went into the corner, stomping on the ground to prepare for the Kazuma Kick (Running Machika Kick). When Connie staggered back to his feet, Kazuma attempted to run at Connie with the Kazuma Kick (Running Machika Kick), but the crowd cheered as Connie was able to duck out of the way, grabbed his arm, and hit Kazuma with the Eat Defeat before going for the pinfall with a Small Package pin.
Ref: 1…2…
"Kazuma barely kicking out of that surprise pin! Can this be Connie's moment!? Can he become the new BTWF Cruiserweight Champion!?" Striker asked as Connie staggered into the corner, Megumin and Darkness yelling at Connie as he started climbing up to the top turnbuckle. Connie clapped along with the fans while waiting for Kazuma to get back up to his feet, and when he did, Connie jumped off of the top turnbuckle, attempting to hit the Diving DDT onto Kazuma. However, the crowd booed loudly as Kazuma hit Connie while he came diving with the Kazuma Kick (Machika Kick), before running the ropes, and hitting a stunned Connie with another Kazuma Kick (Running Machika Kick) before falling into the pinfall.

*Bell Rings*
"Here is your winner, and still the BTWF Cruiserweight Champion, Kazuma Sato!" Tim Barr announced as Kazuma, while holding his arm, rolled off of an unconscious Connie as Megumin ran over to the ringside attendant while jumping up and down to cheer. The crowd continued booing as Megumin grabbed the BTWF Cruiserweight Championship from the ringside attendant and as Darkness slid into the ring to roll Kazuma out of the ring. Darkness then kept Kazuma standing while Megumin put the BTWF Cruiserweight Championship around his waist.
"Kazuma won the BTWF Cruiserweight Championship, but he can barely stand up by himself after this match!" Striker exclaimed as Kazuma, while still trying to recover his breath, smirked at the booing fans and a downed Connie, thanking Megumin and Darkness. Megumin and Darkness gave Kazuma another kiss on the cheek as he pointed at the BTWF Cruiserweight Championship around his waist, telling the jeering crowd that this championship, like Megumin and Darkness, isn't going to leave his side.
"That just shows how much Connie wanted that championship, but in the end, Kazuma just wanted it a little more," Bob explained as in the ring, the referee helped Connie back up to his feet, almost falling back on his back. Connie was then helped back to his feet again, with Megumin and Darkness making fun of him while walking Kazuma back to the locker room. Connie then walked away from the referee, holding the side of his head in pain, the crowd cheering and chanting for Connie as he left the ring. Connie walked down the stairs and glared at Kazuma and his girls, who were continuing to laugh at Connie failing to win the BTWF Cruiserweight Championship.
"Connie still has the respect of the BTWF fans in attendance, but the question is what's next for both of these men?" Kotoko asked as the camera panned to the backstage area as Kazuma used what little energy he had to swivel his hips, showing off the BTWF Cruiserweight Championship. The camera focused on the backstage interview area, where Melissa Shield was standing next to the team of Louise Belcher and Lisa Simpson, who had confident smirks on their faces.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with one of the teams in the Tag Team Gauntlet, Louise Belcher and Lisa Simpson. How are you two feeling about this up-and-coming match, especially with an opportunity at the BTWF Women's Tag Team Championships at StarShow?" Melissa asked. Louise and Lisa looked at each other, back at Melissa, and then back at each other before laughing, and they continued laughing for a moment before Louise walked up to Melissa, still chuckling.
"Seriously!? That's the best question you can come up with!? They pay you to ask stuff like that!? How do you think we feel about this match!?" Louise condescendingly asked, continuing to chuckle in between her words. Lisa patted Louise on the back, trying to calm her down before walking up to Melissa, moving the microphone in front of her mouth.
"What Louise means to say, Mrs. Shield, is that we're feeling HIGHLY confident in our ability to win the Tag Team Gauntlet match tomorrow," Lisa explained with Louise nodding in agreement while patting Lisa on the shoulders.
"And you know why we're so confident, Melissa? Not only do we have more brains than everyone else in that match combined, but we also have the momentum going into this match," Louise explained, as Melissa raised an eyebrow at the unusual response with Lisa nodding in agreement.
"Well, you're not the only team with momentum in this match. In fact, people would argue that Maki and Mai Zenin have the most momentum going into the Tag Team Gauntlet match," Melissa countered, causing Louise and Lisa to roll their eyes. Lisa massaged the sides of her head before taking a deep breath and responding.
"Let me explain this to you as simply as I can; the difference between the Zenin Sisters and myself & Louise is that nobody expected us to have any momentum going into this match. People are not surprised that the Zenin Sisters were able to beat the teams in front of them, but everyone thought that we were going to get destroyed by Kohaku and Homura. And guess what happened? We proved them wrong, as usual," Lisa explained, jamming her pointer finger into Melissa's chest. Melissa sighed before Louise walked up next to Lisa, patted her on the shoulder, and pulled the microphone closer to her mouth.
"The bottom line is this; you're looking at the next BTWF Women's Tag Team Champions, and we are going to be THE topic of discussion at StarShow," Lisa explained with Louise smirking at Melissa before following Lisa out of the backstage interview area. The camera then panned to the stage, where 'Straight to Hell' by Falling in Reverse played, the crowd exploding into cheers as Gourry walked out of the back. Gourry had his hands on his hips, taking in the cheering crowd with a wistful smile on his face before shooting both his fists up, causing pyro to shoot straight out of the stage.
"The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Approaching the ring, he is 'the Pillar of the BTWF' Gourry Gabriev!" Tim Barr announced, the crowd continuing to cheer as Gourry high-fived multiple fans in the front row, even giving several of the older fans some handshakes and autographs. Gourry then wan to the ringside area, and once again shot his fists up in the air, causing some pyro to go off again on the stage. Gourry told the camera that Midoriya better bring everything that he has tonight because Gourry wasn't going to take it easy on him.
"Gourry has made it clear that he wants to test Midoriya tonight, making sure that he can be a Pillar like Gourry," Striker explained, with Gourry walking up to the steel steps, running up those steps before jumping up to the top turnbuckle. The crowd continued cheering as Gourry smiled at the cheering crowd, silently thanking them for the 'Gourry' chants before jumping off of the top turnbuckle, and to the center of the stage, shooting his fists back in the air, causing pyro to shoot out of the corners of the ring posts.
"What Gourry has said may sound harsh, but as someone who's not only wrestled but worked with him, for years, this is just Gourry showing his care for the company that made him a superstar," Bob explained as Gourry went into the corner, stretching his legs and arms while keeping his eyes focused on the stage. 'Resentment' by A Day to Remember played, the crowd maintaining their very loud cheers, as Midoriya came running out of the back. Midoriya showed off his Battle Riot Golden Ticket to the fans at home before putting the ticket back in his pocket and shooting one fist up in the air. However, the camera picked up that he was wearing a championship belt that looked like the AEW World Championship that had 'AVW World Champion' engraved on the top of it.
"And his opponent, from Musutafu Japan, he is the winner of this year's BTWF Battle Riot and the AVW World Champion, Izuku Midoriya!" Tim Barr announced, having to shout a little louder as the crowd continued cheering loudly and chanting Izuku's name. Izuku took the AVW World Championship off of around his waist and raised it in the air, the crowd continuing to cheer as Gourry's focused gaze turned into an annoyed glare. After a couple of moments of posing with the AVW Championship, Izuku put the title back around his waist then went down the entranceway, high-fiving fans on his way to the ring, telling the camera and the people at home that he was going to run straight through Gourry, and then head straight to StarShow. Midoriya then made it to the ringside area and winked at Gourry with a smirk when he noticed that Gourry hadn't taken his eyes off of him.
"Midoriya is wearing the AVW World Championship around his waist! I don't know who sanctioned this, but we can see by the look on Gourry's face that he was not expecting this at all!" Kotoko exclaimed as Midoriya ran up the steel steps, the crowd continuing to cheer loudly as he jumped and flipped over the top rope. Midoriya walked to the center of the ring, knelt down, and punched the center of the ring before shooting his fist up, the crowd cheering even louder as Gourry continued to watch Midoriya.
"Midoriya believes that Gourry wanting this match is a form of 'disrespect' since he feels like Gourry is doubting his accomplishments in the ring, especially him winning the Battle Riot. However, coming into a match proudly presenting another company's world championship to a man who helped build the BTWF has to feel like the ultimate form of disrespect to Gourry," Striker explained as Midoriya stayed in the center of the ring, telling Gourry to come into the center of the ring so that they can start the match. Gourry nodded and walked out of the corner, getting into Midoriya's face, and asking him if he was really ready for this match, and Midoriya responded with a nod. Midoriya then took the AVW World Championship off, raised it above his head one more time, and told Gourry that he was leaving StarShow with two world titles.
"Despite the mutual respect, the competitive nature of these two is coming out before this match has even started!" Bob exclaimed. The referee separated Midoriya and Gourry and once he had both Gourry and Midoriya in separate corners, made sure they were both ready before telling the timekeeper to ring the bell, Midoriya put the AVW World Championship in his corner before the timekeeper rang the bell, the crowd cheering as Midoriya and Gourry walked up to each other, exchanging words with each other. Gourry pointed at the AVW World Championship, telling Midoriya that he shouldn't have come out here with that belt, and Midoriya countered by saying that he was proud to help out an up-and-coming company.
"You're right on the money, Bob, and Midoriya coming out with the AVW title and displaying it so fragrantly in Gourry's face certainly doesn't help matters either," Striker explained as Midoriya said that Gourry should show him some respect since he's helping put AVW on the map like he did with the BTWF. Gourry shook his head before the two locked up, the crowd cheering as neither man was able to get the advantage. Gourry attempted to push Midoriya into the corner, but Midoriya was able to counter with a Drop Toe Hold, attempting to lock Gourry in an Armbar, but Gourry was able to slip out of the Armbar attempt and attempted to put him in an Armbar of his own.
"As this match gets underway, I wonder how much Tim Barr got paid to actually announce the AVW Championship on our PPV," Bob wondered out loud as Midoriya was able to throw Gourry off of him with a Hip Toss, and locked him in an Armbar. The crowd chanted for both men as Gourry rolled on his back, pulled himself out of Midoriya's Armbar, grabbed Midoriya's head, and pushed him down for a Side Headlock, which Midoriya immediately countered into a Headscissors. Gourry kipped back up to his feet, took Midoriya down with an Arm Drag, and attempted to lock him in another Armbar, but Midoriya was able to escape the hold, wring Gourry's arm, and put him in a Hammerlock.
"That's not the main issue right now Bob, as we have two of the best in the business right now exchanging locks and holds," Striker countered as Gourry spun around, ran, and was able to throw Midoriya out of the ring, letting go of the Hammerlock. Midoriya landed on his feet, the crowd cheering as Gourry pushed the middle rope down, inviting Midoriya back into the ring. Midoriya smirked with a nod before climbing up to the apron and walking back into the ring, with the two locking up again. Gourry attempted to grab Midoriya's arm and put him in a Hammerlock, but Midoriya was able to duck down, grab Gourry's legs with his legs, push him down, and attempted to lock him in a Single Leg Boston Crab.
"Midoriya and Gourry are still at a stalemate, no strikes being exchanged yet," Kotoko explained as Gourry was able to roll onto his back and push Midoriya away with his feet, kipping back up to his feet. Gourry attempted to grab Midoriya by the arm for an Irish Whip, but Midoriya was once again able to take him down with a Drop Toe Hold, attempting to lock him in the Koji Clutch, which Gourry responded to by pushing Midoriya's legs away and rolling him up with a Magistral Cradle.

Midoriya kicked out quickly, and got back to his feet even quicker, nodding at Gourry before grabbing him in a Side Headlock. Gourry picked him up, attempting to hit him with a Back Suplex, but Midoriya was able to flip over and behind Gourry. The crowd cheered as Gourry quickly turned around, but Midoriya met him with a hard Knife-Edge Chop, the crowd exploding at the first strike of this match. Gourry attempted to respond with a Chop of his own, but Midoriya grabbed his arm, rammed it into his shoulder several times, and hit him with a Ripcord Dropkick before going for another pin.

"Midoriya initiating the first strike of this match, able to take Gourry back down with a unique Dropkick!" Striker exclaimed as Midoriya picked Gourry up, put him into the corner, and hit him with several Knife-Edge Chops to the chest. The crowd chanted for both men as Gourry responded to the last Chop with a Kick to the gut. Gourry then attempted to put Midoriya in the corner, but the crowd cheered as Midoriya countered with a Pele Kick, stunning Gourry and allowing Midoriya to jump up to the middle rope, and take Gourry back down with a Middle Rope Hurricanrana. The crowd continued cheering as Midoriya kipped back up to his feet, and when Gourry staggered back to his feet, Midoriya took him back down with a Running Calf Kick.
"Midoriya able to take control of this match, but with the experience edge of Gourry, you have to wonder how long he'll have said advantage," Kotoko wondered out loud before Midoriya ran the ropes, and hit Gourry with a Running Leg Drop across the throat. Midoriya then put Gourry in a seated position, patted him on the head, and then ran the ropes, attempting to hit him with a Running Penalty Kick, but Gourry was able to dodge and hit Midoriya with several punches to the gut. Gourry then threw Midoriya into the ropes and attempted to hit him with a Japanese Arm Drag, but Midoriya was able to jump up, and hit Gourry with a Dropkick on the way down, going for another pin.

"Gourry has to be wondering what's going on, with how much Midoriya's been dominating him in the early goings of this match," Bob wondered out loud as Midoriya put Gourry back in a seated position, and ran the ropes to hit him in the chest with a Penalty Kick. The crowd cheered loudly as Midoriya put a hand over his eyes, getting a better look at his cheering fans, before running the ropes, and attempting to hit a Springboard Middle Rope Moonsault, but Gourry was able to roll out of the way. Midoriya landed on his feet and attempted to change tactics with a Standing Shooting Star Press, but Gourry was able to put his knees up, causing Midoriya's chest to crash right into the knees.
"You guys may have spoken too soon, as Gourry was able to counter the Standing Shooting Star Press!" Striker exclaimed as Gourry picked Midoriya up by the hair, and hit him with several Knife-Edge Chops, causing Midoriya to stagger into the ropes. Gourry ran the ropes, hitting Midoriya with a Running Dropkick to the chest while still leaning in the ropes. When Midoriya staggered away from the ropes, Gourry ran the ropes, hitting Midoriya with a Headscissors that sent Midoriya onto the ring apron. Midoriya staggered back to his feet onto the apron, and Gourry attempted to hit a Running Boot onto Midoriya, but he was able to throw Gourry overhead with a Back Body Drop. Gourry was able to land on his feet, but Midoriya responded with a Straight Kick to the chin.
"Midoriya able to take control right back, nearly dislocating Gourry's jaw with that Kick!" Kotoko exclaimed as Midoriya looked back at a stunned Gourry, and then hit him with a Springboard Arabian Press Moonsault, taking them both down. The crowd continued cheering as Midoriya kipped back up to his feet, and high-fived several fans in the front row, jumping up onto the fan barricade, once again waiting for Gourry to get back up to his feet. When he did, Midoriya attempted to hit another Moonsault, but Gourry was able to move out of the way, and throw Midoriya chest first into the barricade.
Ref: 1…2…3
"Gourry able to stop another Moonsault from taking him out, we'll see if he can keep control this time," Bob noted as Gourry rolled back into the ring, and waited for Midoriya to turn around, and when he did, Gourry ran the ropes, hitting him with a Suicide Dive, sending Midoriya's back crashing into the fan barricade. The crowd cheered as Gourry picked Midoriya up, leaned him against the fan barricade, and hit him with several more Knife-Edge Chops to the chest before jumping onto the apron.
Ref: 1…2…3
"It looks like Gourry wants to show Midoriya 'anything you can do, I can do better'," Striker noted as when Midoriya staggered away from the fan barricade, Gourry ran off of the apron, attempting to hit Midoriya with an Apron Cannonball Senton, but the crowd exploded into cheers as Midoriya was able to catch Gourry in mid-air in a Powerbomb position, and hit him with an Alley Oop Bomb, sending his face crashing into the fan barricade. Midoriya then jumped onto the apron, and while Gourry was still laying on his stomach, Midoriya ran off of the apron, hitting Gourry in the back with an Apron Senton.
Ref: 4…5
"Midoriya showing Gourry some of that killer instinct, not even waiting for Gourry to turn back on his back," Bob noted as Midoriya picked Gourry up, and threw him into the steel steps with enough force to send him flying over the steel steps, landing on the other side of the steps. Midoriya waited for Gourry to get back onto his feet, and when he saw Gourry's blonde locks from behind the steel steps, Midoriya ran at the corner post, diving through the post in an attempt to hit Gourry with a Suicide Dive Tornado DDT, but Gourry was able to counter with a hard Knee Lift fight to the face, sending Midoriya laying on the ring apron. Gourry ran his hands through his blonde hair before grabbing Midoriya's hair, and slamming his face into the steel ring apron multiple times.

"Gourry letting some frustration show, but he may have finally taken control of this match on his side!" Kotoko exclaimed as Gourry rolled back into the ring, giving Midoriya's downed and dazed body a curious look before rolling back out of the ring. Gourry picked Midoriya up and put him in position for the Gourry Bomb. However, instead of doing it on the padded concrete floor, Gourry walked over to the steel steps, with Midoriya attempting to fight back with several Back Elbows to the side of the head. However, when Midoryia was able to slide out of Gourry's grasp, Gourry knocked him onto his knees with a Rolling Elbow to the face. Gourry then put him back in position for the Gourry Bomb, positioned himself next to the steel steps, and dropped Midoriya face and chest first onto the top of the steel steps with the Gourry Bomb, the crowd wincing as Midoriya slid off of the steel steps with a glazed look in his eyes.
Ref: 1…2…3
"Gourry definitely has taken control of this match with that! I'd be shocked if Midoriya can even stand after being dropped face and chest first onto the steel like that!" Bob exclaimed as Gourry knelt down, and reminded Midoriya that he wasn't going to take it easy on him. Gourry then threw Midoriya back into the ring, got back onto the apron, and hit Midoriya with a Springboard Senton into a Leg Drop across the back of Midoriya's head. The crowd continued cheering as Gourry dragged Midoriya away from the ropes, and hit him with several Leg Drops across the back of his head.
"Gourry now, with a prone Midoriya, preparing the neck for his new STF finisher," Striker explained as Gourry picked Midoriya up, pushed him into the corner, and hit him with multiple Forearms to the side of the head. Gourry backed away as the referee warned him against being in the corner for too long, and he responded by running the ropes and hitting Midoriya in the side of the face with a Corner Discus Forearm strike. Midoriya fell in a seated position in front of the bottom turnbuckle, and Gourry responded by running the ropes, hitting a Single Leg Hesitation Dropkick to the side of Midoriya's face before dragging him out of the corner, and pinning him.

"Midoriya barely kicking out, and you can tell just by the look in his eyes that the lights are on, but nobody's home," Bob noted as Gourry picked Midoriya up, and hit him with several punches to the face before hitting him with a Snap Vertical Suplex. Gourry then put Midoriya in a seated position and hit him with several kicks to the back before running the ropes and hitting Midoriya in the back and the back of the neck with a Running Knee Strike. Gourry picked Midoriya back up, the crowd cheering as Midoriya attempted to fight back with several punches to the gut multiple times. However, Gourry was able to stop Midoriya in his tracks with several clubs to the back and the back of the neck before picking him up and hitting him with a Scoop Slam that sent him crashing into the ropes.
"Gourry slamming Midoriya into the ropes! And those ropes are made of steel cable, which can't be good for Midoriya's neck and back!" Kotoko exclaimed as Gourry ran the ropes, and hit a Jumping Knee Drop across Midoriya's forehead. Gourry dragged Midoriya back to the center of the ring and hit him with a Spinning Leg Drop across the neck and chest. Gourry ran a hand through his blonde hair before he ran the ropes, hitting Midoriya in the chest with a Double Foot Stomp. Gourry then grabbed both of Midoriya's arms, crossed them over his face, and pulled his neck into his knee.
"Gourry with a Straight Jacket submission hold on, not only targeting the neck but also preventing Midoriya from getting air," Striker explained as Gourry kept the pressure on, ramming his knee several more times in the back of Midoriya's neck. Midoriya shook his head when the referee asked him to give up, the crowd cheering loudly as Midoriya attempted to get back to his feet. Midoriya attempted to pull himself to the ropes, but the crowd cheered as Gourry while keeping the Straight Jacket hold locked in, Gourry took Midoriya back down with a Straight Jacket Backstabber.
"That was an impressive counter by Gourry! And he's still able to keep that Straight Jacket hold locked in!" Bob exclaimed as Gourry sat on Midoriya's back, and pulled his head back with the Straight Jacket hold. Midoriya attempted to drag himself to the ropes, but the crowd continued cheering as Gourry rolled Midoriya back to the center of the ring. Gourry pulled back on the Straight Jacket, but Midoriya began fighting back, the crowd cheering as Midoriya hit Gourry with several headbutts to the nose. Gourry continued the hold, but Midoriya rolled to the center of the ring, able to loosen Gourry's grip on the hold, the crowd cheering loudly as Midoriya staggered into the corner, trying to get his breath back.
"Midoriya able to escape the Straight Jacket, but he can't capitalize due to the lack of oxygen," Striker noted as Gourry got up, holding his nose in pain before attempting to run into the corner, but Midoriya was able to counter with a Back Elbow to the side of the head. While Gourry was stunned, Midoriya put Gourry in a Front Facelock and attempted to hit him with a Tornado DDT. However, Gourry was able to keep himself on his feet, and knee Midoriya multiple times in the gut, attempting to hit him with another Snap Vertical Suplex. Midoriya was able to counter this as well, the crowd cheering as Midoriya landed behind Gourry, grabbed him in an Inverted Facelock and hit him with a Tornado Reverse DDT before going for the pinfall.
Ref: 1…2…
"Midoriya with a clever counter, going for a Reverse Tornado DDT instead of the standard Tornado DDT!" Kotoko exclaimed as Midoriya clapped in rhythm with the fans while Gourry staggered back to his feet. When Gourry made it back to his feet, Midoriya hit Gourry with two Clotheslines, a Flapjack, and a Northern Lights Suplex, and then ran the ropes and hit a Running Knee Strike to a seated Gourry's face. The crowd continued cheering as Midoriya cricked his neck before attempting to hit Gourry with a Springboard Middle Rope Moonsault again, but Gourry was able to roll out of the way. However, Midoriya was able to land on his feet, and when Gourry got back up to try and take control back, Midoriya took him back down with a Snap Frankensteiner.
"Midoriya is able to maintain control despite missing his Springboard Middle Rope Moonsault!" Striker exclaimed as Midoriya hit Gourry with a Standing Corkscrew Senton before going for a pinfall.
Ref: 1…2…
Midoriya responded to the kickout by picking Gourry up and hitting him with several punches to the face before attempting to hit him with an Exploder Suplex, but Gourry was able to respond with multiple clubs to the back of the neck. Gourry attempted to pick Midoriya up for a Powerbomb, but the crowd cheered loudly as he was able to counter the Powerbomb into a Facebuster. Midoriya propped Gourry up on his knees and ran the ropes to hit Gourry with a Shining Wizard before running the ropes again, the crowd exploding into cheers as Midoriya finally hit the Springboard Middle Rope Moonsault to the chest.
"Midoriya finally hitting that Moonsault, but you can tell that the speed and trajectory he hit that Moonsault with aggravated his neck!" Kotoko exclaimed as Midoriya rolled to the ropes, holding the back of his neck in pain. Midoriya got back up to his feet, walked over to Gourry, and picked him up, but Gourry dropped down and hit Midoriya with a Jawbreaker. The crowd continued cheering as Gourry Irish whipped Midoriya into the corner, and attempted to run at him with a Running Corner Clothesline, but Midoriya moved out of the way. However, Gourry was able to prevent himself from crashing into the corner, hit Midoriya in the gut with a Back Kick, jumped up onto the middle turnbuckle, and rolled him up with a Diving Sunset Flip.
Ref: 1…2…
"Gourry with that Diving Roll Up, but Midoriya still able to kick out!" Bob narrated as Gourry grabbed Midoriya's legs, and attempted to lock him in his Modified STF, but Midoriya was able to turn himself on his back, punching Gourry in the face several times. Gourry let go of his STF attempt, but immediately grabbed Midoriya's legs, and attempted to hit him with a Slingshot into the corner, but the crowd exploded into cheers as Midoriya was able to counter this mid-Catapult into a Sunset Flip Powerbomb, sending Gourry's head crashing into the bottom turnbuckle. Midoriya, after cricking his neck again, ran the ropes and hit Gourry in the side of the head with a Running Face Wash.
"Midoriya once again able to take control of his match back on his side with an incredible counter, sending the back of Gourry's head crashing into a turnbuckle!" Kotoko exclaimed as Midoriya stomped on Gourry's gut a couple of times before jumping onto the apron. The crowd continued cheering as Midoriya, after stretching his back, attempted to springboard back into the ring, but Gourry, while still laying down, kicked the middle rope, causing Midoriya to trip and fall onto the top rope chest first. The crowd cheered as Gourry used the ropes to pick himself up before grabbing Midoriya by the hair and hitting him with several punches to the side of the face before getting on the middle rope.
"What does Gourry have planned here, after using the ropes to get the advantage back on his side?" Bob asked as Gourry put Midoriya in position for a Suplex, and sent Midoriya crashing back into the ring from the apron with a Jackhammer. The crowd continued cheering and chanting both their names as Gourry staggered into the corner, climbing up to the top rope while shaking his head to get the cobwebs out. Gourry balanced himself on the top turnbuckle, and hit Midoriya with a Diving Headbutt to the chest before going for the pin, hooking both of his legs back.
Ref: 1…2…
"Midoriya, somehow, barely kicks out of the same move that made Gourry a multiple-time BTWF World Champion!" Bob exclaimed in shock as Gourry ran his hands through his hair in stress while on his knees. Gourry pulled Midoriya onto his knees by his hair and hit him with a hard Forearm strike to the side of the head. The crowd cheered louder as Midoriya replied in kind with a hard punch, almost sending Gourry falling onto his back. Gourry and Midoriya exchanged Forearms and punches to the face while on their knees, the crowd cheering for Gourry, but cheering louder for Midoriya. Midoriya hit Gourry with multiple left and right-handed punches to the side of the face, dazing him to the point where he couldn't put his hands up to defend himself.
"Midoriya with some hard punches to the side of the head, and Gourry's barely clinging onto consciousness!" Kotoko exclaimed as Midoriya looked on at the cheering crowd, and nodded with a smirk on his face before grabbing Gourry by the hair, and hitting him with multiple Kawada Kicks to the face before running the ropes, and hitting Gourry with a Running Basement Dropkick to the side of the face. The crowd continued cheering as Midoriya jumped back onto the apron, and springboarded back into the ring by hitting Gourry with a Springboard 450 Splash to the chest before going for the pinfall.
Ref: 1…2…
"Midoriya with a Springboard 450! Midoriya won the AVW World Championship with a 450 Splash, but it didn't defeat Gourry here tonight!" Striker exclaimed as Midoriya immediately grabbed Gourry, threw him into the corner, and ran the ropes to hit Gourry with a Detroit Smash (Helluva Kick) before going for another pin.
Ref: 1…2…
The crowd cheered as Gourry barely got his foot on the bottom rope, initiating a ropebreak and stopping the pinfall from continuing. Midoriya looked shocked when the referee told him that Gourry had his foot on the ropes, and when he attempted to drag Gourry out of the corner, Gourry surprised him with a Small Package pin.
Ref: 1…2…
"Gourry almost stole the pin there, but look at how exhausted Gourry is after having his head nearly kicked off with that Detroit Smash!" Bob exclaimed as Gourry rolled out onto the apron. Midoriya looked annoyed that Gourry was still fighting back, and attempted to grab Gourry, but Gourry rammed his shoulder into Midoriya's gut multiple times. Gourry then draped Midoriya's head over the middle rope, backed away and hit a Running Guillotine Leg Drop across the back of Midoriya's neck. Gourry then pushed him away from the ropes, and dove back into the ring with a Springboard Clothesline while the fans chant 'You Still Got It!'.
"Gourry does indeed still have it, hitting Midoriya with a very nice Springboard Clothesline!" Kotoko exclaimed as Gourry picked Midoriya up, and attempted to hit him with the Gourry Bomb, but Midoriya was able to counter with an Arm Drag. The crowd continued cheering as Gourry staggered into the corner, and attempted to hit him with another Detroit Smash (Helluva Kick), but Gourry was able to block his foot, push hit down, and knock Midoriya down with a Superkick to the side of the head. Gourry then climbed back up to the top rope, telling the cheering crowd that the match was over, and attempted to hit Midoriya with another Diving Headbutt, but the crowd exploded into cheers as Midoriya lifted both of his feet up.
"Oh! Gourry's jaw nearly flew off from landing on Midoriya's feet!" Striker exclaimed while wincing as Midoriya took Gourry down with a Drop Toe Hold, and locked him in a Koji Clutch. The crowd exploded into cheers as Gourry attempted to drag himself to the ropes again, but Midoriya was able to roll Gourry back into the center of the ring. After another minute in the hold, Gourry started losing consciousness, and right before he did, Gourry finally tapped out, the crowd exploding as Midoriya immediately let go.
*Bell Rings*
"Here is your winner as a result of a submission, the BTWF Battle Riot Winner, and the AVW World Champion, Izuku Midoriya!" Tim Barr announced as Midoriya rolled into the corner, grabbing the AVW World Championship, and hugging it close to his chest. Midoriya, while still sitting in the corner, told the camera that he was going to add the BTWF World Heavyweight Championship to his waist at StarShow. The crowd continued cheering as Midoriya picked himself up, and raised the AVW World Championship over his head while also bringing out his Golden Ticket.
"Midoriya getting another big win on his way to StarShow, making Gourry submit to his brutal Koji Clutch! Could we be looking at the next BTWF World Heavyweight Champion!?" Striker asked as Midoriya noticed Gourry coming back to his feet, holding his now bleeding mouth in pain. Midoriya put the Golden Ticket back into his pocket, put the AVW World Championship over his shoulder, and offered a hand to Gourry in respect. Gourry looked up at Midoriya, ran his hand through his hair, and after a moment, accepted the handshake, even giving Midoriya a brief hug, wishing him luck at StarShow.
"Despite all the hard hits and trash-talking in this match, Gourry still respects the fact Midoriya beat him fair and square," Kotoko explained as Midoriya thanked Gourry for his kind words. However, the crowd exploded into cheers as the lights went out while the two were shaking hands. When the lights came back on, Midoriya realized that he was shaking BTWF World Heavyweight Champion Zancrow's hand, with Gourry being thrown out of the ring. Zancrow let go of Midoriya, took the BTWF World Heavyweight Championship off of around his waist, and raised it over his head.
"A message sent by the BTWF World Heavyweight Champion, and that message is saying; 'I'm not scared of you, and you're the one who has something to prove to me'!" Bob exclaimed as Midoriya nodded, holding the AVW World Championship over his head, telling Zancrow he was not afraid of him. Zancrow simply nodded, put the BTWF World Heavyweight Championship back over his shoulder, and simply told Midoriya to be prepared before the lights in the arena went black. After a moment, the lights came back on, and Gourry was back in the ring, once again holding his head in pain.
"This can be the main event of Intensity's StarShow if Zancrow is able to survive the Elimination Chamber in our main event here tonight!" Striker exclaimed as while Midoriya was helping Gourry out of the ring, the feed of the camera went off and panned to the Happy Place. However, there was no opening theme song, and started with Minatsuki Takami, the BTWF Women's Battle Riot winner, opening the door to the Happy Place, a vibrant smile plastered on her face as she closed the door behind her, and sat on a big red couch at the center of the room. A fake crowd of children cheered as Minatsuki moved herself on the couch to find a comfortable seat before speaking to the audience.
"Hi, guys! We're so close to StarShow, and I am SO excited!" Minatsuki exclaimed as she kicked her feet with joy. Minatsuki then reached in between the couch cushions and pulled out the Golden Ticket she received from winning the BTWF Women's Battle Riot. The fake crowd of children cheered as Minatsuki showed the people at home her Golden Ticket.
"I'm excited because I have a GUARANTEED opportunity at the BTWF Women's Championship at StarShow. Whether it be 'Amazing' Luna Collins or 'The Not So Amazing Influencer' Brandish Myu, they'll see me on the other side of the ring at StarShow!" Minatsuki exclaimed excitedly as after a moment of smiling, the feed of the camera became distorted, along with the cheers of the fake children. The footage also began turning red while continuing to distort, eventually coming back into clearer footage, with Minatsuki in her Demon face paint, her lower mask of sharp, golden teeth, and red extensions in her hair.
"And when they see me on the other side of the ring, they will not only see me standing on top of them with the BTWF Women's Championship, but they will also see blood pouring from their heads and mouths," Minatsuki's demon form said, tilting her head to the side as the distorted fake child audience cheered and went 'Oooooh' at what Minatsuki said. Minatsuki then picked up her Golden Ticket, her now golden eyes observed every inch of the ticket before turning her attention back to the camera.
"Luna and Brandish do not know what they're getting into at StarShow. There is nothing that will stop me from taking the BTWF Women's Championship and unleashing my Demon onto anyone who stands in my way!" Minatsuki's distorted voice exclaimed before stuffing the Golden Ticket into her pocket. While Minatsuki was glaring at the camera, the camera feed once again distorted, with the fake child audience's voices also being distorted. The red hue of the footage turned back to normal, and Minatsuki turned back to her normal self, with the fake child audience's voices returning to normal as well.
"Despite our paths crossing at StarShow, we're going to have so much fun! See you guys there!" Minatsuki exclaimed happily, waving excitedly at the camera, the camera briefly distorting for a second before returning to normal. The camera then panned back to the stage, with Minatsuki continuing to wave goodbye to the fans at the arena and at home.
