"What do you think he wants to talk to us about?" Florian asked when they walked into the cafeteria.

"No clue" Julianna replied. Sure enough, Arven was standing off in the corner.

"Ah, there you are Florian and Julianna right you know the whole school seems to be talking about you guys, the two new students who show up with the president of the student council"

"Anyways what did you want to tell us?" Julianna asked.

"Normally I wouldn't bother coming to school. But you've got to help me out so I can finally make my dreams a reality"

"Yes," Florian blurted out.

"What! What kind of maniac says yes to something without even knowing what it is?"

"I mean how bad can it be?"

"Well it might come as a surprise, but the fact is I'm all about that picnic life. The Great Outdoors, the perfect sandwich all of it and I'm not half bad at cooking either"

"The bag kind of gave it away," Florian said.

"Right now I'm researching new recipes that'll help Pokémon feel better. Real health food. I found this old book you see and it mentions these herbs that help heal up a Pokémon as soon as it eats them!"

"There are 5 of these herbs and just taking a like of them once they've been powdered will get your blood flowing, provide nutrients, prevent again, and it'll even boost the immune system"

"These herbs seem like the real deal. One of a kind only found here in Paldea"

"And you need our help with this because?" Julianna asked.

"The problem is that a Titan Pokémon guards each of the herbs they'll flip into a rage if you come near them. I think there are these things that the book mentions"

Arven flipped through the pages and showed them a picture of what looked like a really weird Donphan.

"I really want the herbs but I don't have any strong Pokémon our friends to help me out and I'd never hear the end of it if I went to Nemona"

"So you want us to do it?" they both asked.

"I mean here you are you're perfect for the task"

Both of them looked at each other. Did Arven think they were the best ones for a job like this? They each had one Pokémon, and he had only seen them battle once.

"You don't need to make a decision right now I still need to search out the locations but get back to me when you've made up your mind" Just like that Arven was out of the cafeteria.

"That was weird" Julianna stated "What are you thinking?"

"Hell ya I'm gonna do it" Florian replied "Now I got to go looking for Pokémon my first contest we'll be here before I know it"

"Good idea I should get around to doing that too"

"Oh my god how why is this thing so hard to stop" Florian screeched well his bike came to a stop.

He loved the speed that the bike let him travel but the handling was a downside.

But even his bike seemed to be handling particularly badly today.

He found the problem to be a ball of string in the spokes.

With that out of the way, he was free to look for Pokémon.

And he was finding nothing.

"Iglesias, do you see anything?" once again Fuecoco was oblivious to what he was saying basking in the sun.

"Yup, you're ability really is Unaware" Florian sighed.

But he felt something sticky on his face.

It was another piece of string.

When he yanked it off he saw a line of string leading into the grass.

"Fuecoco light this thing on fire!" Fuecoco launched an Ember at his face.

"Not me you dope! The string"

Fuecoco ignited the ball of string, and the fire ran across the path and into the grass.

A surprised scream came from the grass and a burnt Tarountula scurried in front of Florian.

The String Ball Pokémon chittered angrily at him.

"Wait were you following me?" Florian wondered. The lines of string stuck on him and his things must have been there deliberately if they ran back to Tarountula.

He could use that.

Thinking quickly he grabbed a Pokeball from his bag and hurled it at Tarountula.

With three shakes Tarountula was caught.

"Alright finally somebody that puts effort into it. Now all I need is a nickname"

"Alambre I think that's a good name for you"

Searching for Pokémon was harder than Julianna thought it would be.

She had been looking all day and had found nothing that caught her eye.

Part of the problem was that she couldn't get very far on foot.

That gave her a crazy idea.

She had seen how fast Koraidon could go and well he couldn't battle she thought he might still be able to run fast.

The problem was that she didn't know where Ash was so her only chance was to get it from Ash's dorm room.

Ash's dorm was at the other end of the school along with the other staff so it wasn't hard to reach up to the window.

"Come on where is it" Julianna sighed as she moved her arm around the counter "he must have taken it with him when he leaaaaft!" Julianna felt her other arm slipping and she slid off the window sill.

There was a solid 3 seconds before she slammed onto the ground right on her back.

The force of the fall dislodged Quaxly's Pokeball from her bag and too winded to get up she watched in horror as it rolled down towards a small pond.

It bounced off a rock then another and landed in the water.

Right onto the head of a Paldean Wooper.

"Oh thank goddess" Julianna sighed.

The Wooper swam out of the pond and peacefully dropped the Pokeball at Julianna's feet.

"Oh thank you," Julianna said surprised that the Wooper would know to do something like that.

"Woop, woop" Wooper hopped up and down and watched Julianna.

Julianna suddenly got an idea.

"Say, would you want to join my team?"

The Wooper looked at her confused.

"You know come with me go on a Pokémon journey and fight for me"

Wooper nodded.

"Alright then I think you're saying yes so I'm gonna throw this Pokeball at you"

Julianna lightly rolled a Pokeball at Wooper. She slapped the Pokeball with her tail and was quickly caught.

"Wasan't that lucky you really saved me there"

That gave Julianna an idea.

"Salvador I think that's a great nickname for you"
