Total Drama X: Crossed Trees
The Honorable Mentions Update
I have not been writing much, hence why Episode 15 of Winter Warriors is still not out just yet and I just wanted to make this to fufill some notable exclusions.
Episode 1's done and Episode 2's halfway done and yes, the release date for the first chapter will still be the first week of January and hoo boy, there was so many great picks that I could reasonably save for the sequel season!
THIS LIST IS MASSIVE AND IT COULD BE A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME FOR YOU READERS, SO SKIP THIS IF YOU WANNA SEE SOME STORY THIS WEEKEND!
or read this, i'm not your parent or caretaker.

Surprisingly, there's a few contestants that could provide their own challenges further down the line.
Akuma (Street Fighter) from that one guest that got Ashley, Eggman and Lola in.
Simply put, this ain't his wheelhouse as in he likes to find strong warriors to fight them and he doesn't hold back against those who he deems worthy. This isn't one of those venues that nautrally attract strong people.
As a contestant only, but as a challenger, he'd be down to be a roadblock for those players.
Helen Parr (The Incredibles) from that same guest again
Reason: Haven't seen her film and plus, there's actually already enough team moms in this season, one more and it could get very awkward very fast.
Deadpool (Deadpool) from PineCoop
We already have several notable Deadpools, one of them's running around with The Doctor, the second's been in all 3 seasons of Infinite, the third's stuck in Randomness (which somehow got 7 episodes), the fourth got did dirty in Ultimate Islands and for once, I'd like for it to stay that way.
Nina Williams (Tekken) from PineCoop
Realistically speaking, Daybreak's got her covered on the spy part, Jane Doe's got her covered on the morally neutral (good guy) part and Marshall Lee's a Tekken rep.
Faust (Guilty Gear) from PineCoop
it's too late to apologise, it's too lateeeeeee, it's too late to apologise, it's too lateeeeee.
He would've got in if there wasn't already 50 contestants, dude's got a lot of interesting character behind him.
Kimberly Jackson (Street Fighter 6) from PineCoop
I like her, but I don't know if I like her is very strong for her case in this season specifically.
Travis Touchdown (No More Heroes) from that same exact guest again
Once again, the 50 character limit and also, he's a little bit too strong of a character.
Memphis Tennessee (RTFD Sonic) from ChaosBlade327
Fandub Eggman and Bowser Jr. practically wiped away all of the reasons for him to be there and plus, Coco's a gamer in Crash 4, so it's over for the incel gamer who might be gay.
Seth (Street Fighter 5) from ChaosBlade327
I didn't really consider them at all, he's just a swoop pick for the next season. I feel like she'd be cool with that, considering she can copy any move.
Chef Saltbaker (Cuphead) from Orlando Butler
Aside from not always being an villain aside from the wondertart craziness, there's something inside him that intrigues me kinda like a certain man who turns people into donkeys and swings the whip.
He's just a really strong chef that could actually be very scary in the right situation.
Alucard (Castlevania) from AluInt
I have seen Castlevania from Season 1 to Season 3, the dude would almost fit in pretty well with his swearing gentleman persona and constant fight to avoid his vampiric urges.
But he was another man, because I'm a feminist.
Thorkell (Vinland Saga) from AluInt
Feminism strikes again, but he'd certainly fit much better in a Total Drama season than Akuma, despite the two of them being kind of similar.
He is very strong, he likes fighting (and war) and he's boisterous and that could actually fit a whole bunch of people.
Mordecai or Rigby (Regular Show) from Neon-Trainer03
Eh, it could be much worse, they could both be in a fic that gets update only yearly and who's arc is just kinda getting started and also, these two would be a killer Ridonculous Race team.
Tron Bonne (Megaman Legends) from Neon-Trainer03
She should be in here, just like she was in Ultimate Islands and arguably, she'd be written much better despite her being done relatively solidly in UI, which is more of a rarity than you'd think.
Jerry Smith (Rick and Morty) from G-man 2.0
Loser dad, but I just haven't watched R for some reason. Probably because I get my opinions from YouTubers for some reason, whoop woo.
John Wick (John Wick) from echoslook
Another Akuma situation where he legit has no reason to be here, but he'd be cool to have.
Ratchet & Clank (Ratchet & Clank) from FlameFireZero X
I haven't played his games and also, hilariously, they'd be the sequel to Jax and Daxter in Everything 2, a fic from eight years ago.
How times flies, though I feel like I could do them good if I got the chance to play the games.
Nicole Demara (Zenless Zone Zero) from echoslook
Jane Doe was too damn crazy of a character to not put in, so putting in a money-hungry lady with a penchant for spending money badly would be a little bit of a downgrade.
Andy (Undead Unluck) from echoslook
Chris would want him on, but I don't know if I'd want him in personally even if he had seen his show. That being said, I respect the anime for giving this Looney Tunes-ass character his dues.
Deborah (Angry Little Asian Girl) from OGPlush
I'm not shitting you, she could have made it in if I wanted to do more research, but I just didn't care enough.
Hibana (Fire Force) from ThelastCyberKnight
Both Denji and Daybreak made it in from this guy and I have not seen her show and she might be a little bit too similar to Boscha, so I'm gonna leave.
*fire shoots out from my feet*
BRUH.
Riko (Made In Abyss) from another guest that got Joan in.
She was in Crossing Trunks, my oldest fic which actually had work done on it and I feel like she'd fit in here perfectly, if Joan wasn't the only pick that I wanted to get on.
Maomao (Apothecary Diaries) and Vivy (Vivy: Flourite's Eye Song) from that same guest that got Joan in.
I don't know them sorry, even if they'd be interesting players.
Ash Crimson (King of Fighters) from ChaosBlade327
He'lll get 'em next time, okay? He'd definitely fit the true neutral archetype thing I've got going on.
Zagreus (Hades) from ChaosBlade 327
A great godling with a great character.
Fun fact: Search up any Greek God and look at their feats, if they haven't done something horrible, then you're either looking at them wrong or you'll looking at a premier good boy.
Doom Slayer (DOOM) from Ginrai12
He does rip, tear and protect all those who want to live and I really don't mind him being silent, despite the massive disadvantage that he would have from that.
That being said, next season, sorry big guy.
Filia (Skullgirls) from Ginrai12
She'd be more of a quota to get in all of the notable fighting games, rather than for her character, but she does have enough stuff to at least have a solid personality.
Papyrus (Undertale) from chillsummer
He's in the yet to be announced Hotel Rockies and was already in Ultimate Islands, so it's not his time to shine just yet.
Gaston (Beauty and The Beast) from chillsummer
No-one may do it like Gaston and no-one could realistically be like Gaston and he'd get stuck in the middle of a stupid situation like no-one else would, but uh.
I don't remember why he's not in, I just remember that there's already enough Disney Villains.
Crazy Dave (Plant VS Zombies) from chillsummer
Can I let PvZ have their own challenge and no-one would question it when he'd complain about not being on this show? Cool.
Sniper (Team Fortress 2) from chillsummer
Eh, I don't really have a good reason, he just isn't in here.
Demoman (Team Fortress 2) from AluInt
Honestly, uh, he should be in next season with his own kind of drink.
Right now, he could be providing some bombs for this crazed reality show host.
Richter Belmont (Castlevania) from AluInt
I haven't watched Nocturne and it just seems like he'd be another good guy who wouldn't be the protagonist.
Rapunzel (Tangled) from AluInt
She was in Ultimate Islands and I'd like to think she was done surprisingly well, plus another appearance would take advantage of her powers in the TV series.
I don't care really.
Odokawa (Oddtaxi) from the guest that got Vladilena & Abe in.
A really interesting normal guy character who I respect, for all of his actions, dues and willingness to help people no matter who they are, but once again, he almost made the cut.
He could be in next season, IMHO.
Subaru Natsuki (Re:Zero) from that guest that got Lena & Abe
Almost same thing here, he's a cringe-ass NEET that is both the opposite of somebody who just barely missed the cut and the exact character that would be missing here.
I also like Re:Zero.
Sakaki (Azumanga Daioh) from that guest that got Lena and Abe in.
I requested here to be in another fic and it's in development hell. Happens a lot more than you'd think.
Undyne (Undertale) from that guest who got Eggman, Lola & Ashley again
Read Winter Warriors, I promise that you'll have a good time.
Groose (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword) from the guest that got Lola, Fandub Eggman & Ashley
Joke character that could actually get reasonably far, but he just wasn't fitting the forever vaguely defined vibe of the season.
Jack Sparrow (Pirates of the Carribean) & Phoney Bone (Bone) from the guest that got Lola, Eggman & Ashley in.
They're technically in a season? It's just not gonna be out for a reasonably long time.
Beetlejuice (Beetlejuice) from the guest that got Lola, Eggman & Ashley in.
I feel like he'd play as a guy of pure chaos and whatever else, but I haven't watched his movie yet and this challenge would definitely be giving a challenge instead of getting into a challenge.
Plague Knight (Shovel Knight) from the guest that got Lola, Eggman & Ashley in.
First off, read KoopalingFan's Survivor works and secondly, he'd be a little gremlin that would be like Bowser Jr. except more self-sufficient.
Gollum (Lord of The Rings)
If he likes rings so much, then why doesn't he get married to one? (I'm not even joking, I pictured him in a wedding with a giant talking ring)
Reuben (Lilo & Stitch)
Somehow would just end up as an intern in some point or at the very least, a lazy mofo who loves sandwich and at that point, you're just kinda describing a lazy Shaggy with actual powers.
The powers being carrying heavy stuff.
Kairi (Kingdom Hearts)
This fic's before KH3, so she wouldn't do much other than being a girl. Sorry for the KH fans, she just got sidelined like crazy.
Curly Brace (Cave Story)
I don't know if being nice cuts it, sorry.
Elizabeth (Persona 3)
Yes, this would be in her character and no, I haven't played her game.
I watched a video essay about her in a fighting game, funny enough.
Toph Beifong (Avatar)
Would low key end up as a weaker version of herself from Everything, if she had to stack up to the rest of the cast.
Carmelita Fox (Sly Cooper)
Realistically, she would be in if there wasn't enough great women that inside the cast and at this point, she was in Ultimate Islands not even doing that bad.
Writing-wise anyways, but I'm gonna revisit her someday.
Bomby (BFDI)
Something about BFDI's bugging me recently, but this has nothing to do with Bomby, who just wouldn't work in a Total Drama season for one very obvious reason.
I'm a big enough fan to know that reason being exploding.
Buggy The Clown (One Piece)
Dreaming
Don't give it up, Luffy!
Dreaming
Don't give it up, Zolo!
Dreaming
Don't give it up, Nami!
Dreaming
Tyler (Total Drama Island)
Almost actually made it in, he was one of those last few cuts before the former Hotel Rockies players got cut and hilariously enough, he would do really well.
It's just not his season in.
Rodney (Total Drama: Pahkitew Island)
Infinite 3 is all I'm saying.
Samey (Total Drama: Pahkitew Island) and Amy (Total Drama: Pahkitew Island)
I swear letting her having the ramifications of being an victim of abuse would be pretty cool, but if Amy isn't here it would not hit nearly as hard, but I'm not that interested doing it in this story.
Compared to future stories.
Dwayne Junior (Ridonculous Race)
I'm not even joking, I just forgot that he was listed on the list. He is in Multiverse of the Island, which despite how clunky that it can be, it is actually pretty decent.
Hazel Wells (Fairly Odd Parents: A New Wish)
Uh, I don't mind her, but I just don't care that much about her being on this season.
Catra (She-Ra & The Princesses of Power)
Good character, good show, she literally just slipped through due to me trying to get as many people in as possible and she'd be in next season if there's any justice in the world.
Maki Zenin (Jujutsu Kaisen)
I should get to watchin' the second season, maybe that will turn around my opinion on her because right now, she's a character that could be crumbs for a good character.
Lois Lane (My Adventures with Superman)
Would somehow got roped onto this show for the scoop, but I don't really know that much about her...which is even crazier since there isn't really that many episodes out for the show.
Sideshow Bob (Simpsons)
He sounds like he would be really cool in a TD crossover, just not this specific one and who knows, it could be the very next one.
Ian & Anthony (Smosh)
A great pair for a Ridonculous Race season and another TD season, but Golf Ball was a bigger priority.
Franky Franklin (Spy X Family)
Once again, almost made it in, but there was another more interesting character that he got replaced by.
Orel Puppington (Moral Orel)
Easy alliance bait and also, incredible kind-hearted despite being gullible as all hell and I just haven't seen his show.
Gandhi (Clone High)
Actually, he'd be the third Clone High character and I don't know if having him and missing JFK and Cleo wouldn't be a problem...especially since at least one of the three will be on next season.
Skips (Regular Show)
He's cool, just not much of a spectacular character compared to the rest of the accepted weirdos.
Pitch Black (Rise of The Guardians)
I'm just imagining him putting on a persona to further his own myth on reality TV and that'd be really funny.
Jude (6teen)
Jonesy isn't necessarily better, it's just that I need to watch more episodes of 6teen before getting a better judgement an also, he was in Ultimate Islands for an short time.
Dunno if that counts.
Polnareff (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure)
Timeline-wise, since this takes places before Ultimate Islands, I'm not interested in the time paradoxes or whatever that could come up.
Two seasons later, Part 2 Joseph makes it so far that he'd actually be written well in Ultimate Islands, which is more of a miracle than you'd think.
Fuuka (Persona 3)
I have not seen Persona 3, okay.
Gex (Gex)
Reference machine 9000 is back, just not at this specific moment or season.
Kazuma Satou (KonoSuba)
He's literally in next season, what do you want from me?!
Frank Murphy (F is for Family)
Same almost goes for Frank, being a hardass dad with a heart that cares for his family and whatnot, but I haven't really seen his show.
Murdoc Niccals (Gorillaz)
The mate's making it in next season, that's all I'm saying.
Lisa Lisa (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure)
Literally out of the running because G-man suggested the previous five character, she would have made it in if it wasn't for that and considering that next season is a long way away, I could that she could be in there.
Marceline (Adventure Time)
She's cool enough to be in Trainwreck Express or am I missing something? Who knows, I'm not gonna be writing her.
Bumi (Legend of Korra)
Once again, timeline shenanigans. This is a prequel to Ultimate Islands, which actually has both Sokka and Azula and you can guess why he's out despite being a very cool fella.
Lin Beifong (Legend of Korra)
Same reason as Bumi and Polnareff, except she could fit in a different season pretty well thanks to her hard edge policing style that extends to every part of her life.
Glenn Dolphman (Inside Job)
america patriot gets stuffed from canadian show. the west has fallen.
I'm gonna finish this off with an amazing quote, aside from the notable fact that this would be a surprisingly solid cast on its own right and that ome of these HMs already have places in future seasons.
Aaron earned an iron urn, say that five times fast.
