Well, this chapter was easy to plan out, as it's mainly set up for stuff to come now that I've basically exhausted stuff for season 2. I won't pretend it was perfect all the way through; I'm pretty sure I peaked with it when it came to the Sports Festival, especially Kendo vs Midoriya, as that was just…oh, that was just real fun to write out. It seems like plenty of you loved reading it. It's also good that this wasn't all that deep because I got the second chapter.

It would be more accurate to say that this is the first actual chapter of that commission to work on and post come Friday. Still, thanks to some good luck and proper time management, I'm starting this Wednesday, which gives me plenty of time to finish both.

Oh, and I only realized this as I was writing this, but the matches were out of order. The reason was because of how I organized them in my notes. I made a table with class A's matches, and well…I sort of forget that their match-ups weren't an extract one-to-one. Class A went for the first 3, Cementoss, Ectoplasm, and Thirteen. Meanwhile, class B was meant to be Vlad, Present Mic, and then Snipe(his name got autocorrected to Sniper).

That first match was Vlad, but the second? That ended up being Cementoss, and you can recall that things didn't match from then on. I won't gaslight you or try to edit those chapters. I made a mistake, and when this goes up, I'll go back and mention that the matches were out of order.

Chapter 51: A Relaxing Day

It had been a couple of days since they finished their finals. As instructed, they all went home to relax, some basking in their victories and others slumped over how hard they had to fight to pass at all. At that time, at least as far as Midoriya's friend group was concerned, they didn't speak with one another. The following day was also free, so when they returned for their final day of school that Friday, Midoriya found that the class was still talking about their finals.

"I'm sorry, but you did what?" Monoma asked as he stood by Komori's desk.

"We covered the entire area with mushrooms; it was great!" she gleefully replied. Monoma and Awase turned to the others who had seen it in real-time, and they all confirmed that it did indeed happen.

"It did make getting Ectoplasm out difficult, and destroying the glass dome probably cost us a few points," Midoriya added, as other than the door they charged through, they kept the damage to a minimum. Besides, while cleaning up would be a nightmare, Komori's mushrooms cleared up on their home in just a couple of hours.

"At least you guys could say you walked out victorious; we barely managed to get through Midnight." Awase groaned as he shivered. He had known Midnight wasn't just a pretty face; she had marketed herself as a heroine with heavy themes of BDSM, but there was a clear difference in seeing and knowing…and experiencing it. It was even more terrifying as even though he was scared out of his mind, Midnight still managed to make the entire affair hot.

Monoma had no feelings about the topic, mainly because he couldn't participate in the exam. "That woman is a whole other level of terrifying. I didn't even have a chance to put up a fight before I was out."

Kamakiri grunted. "That was a mercy compared to what that rat bastard put us through; I swear, he nearly crushed us at least half a dozen times." He was still pissed with how Nezu basically treated them like toys for his amusement.

"No doubt it was more, but I was so terrified that I must have missed a few," Kuroiro commented, frowning as that was an experience he didn't want to repeat.

"I mean, but we all passed, right? Then it's all good." Bondo nervously spoke up, as that was a silver lining, right?

"Yup, when we aren't training our asses off, we'll get out fun in the sun." Tokage agreed with him, a detached arm wrapping around the taller boy's shoulders as she flashed a shark-toothed grin.

Midoriya agreed, as they had all worked hard. While some had found it harder than others, they had managed to pull a clean sweep. "It's better than class A. I heard that two of their teams failed."

"Ha, so we're the superior class! As I've always believed!" Monoma declared, suddenly revitalized as if he had taken a shot of pure adrenaline.

As he ranted, the rest only watched, no longer as surprised by it but more impressed. "It doesn't take much to cheer him up?" Rin commented.

"If it hating on class A, he'll wake from the dead," Awase added, to which Yanagi and Komori nodded.

"Wait, where did you hear that?" Kaibara asked Midoriya.

"Kendo."

"Do you two keep in contact?" Shiozaki asked as this was the first she had heard about it.

Midoriya and Tokage glanced at one another. Had they never brought this up? Well, it wasn't a big deal, as Midoriya told them. "Naturally, we're both class reps. It helps when we have ideas we want to run by someone in a similar position." Tokage mentioned that she often attended those talks, like class A's vice rep, Yaoyorozu.

Before the conversations could continue, Vlad slid open the door, the man looking particularly happy that morning. "Well, well, good morning, students." He greeted them as they quickly went for their desks and sat in the time it took Vlad to reach the podium.

"Good morning, Vlad-sensei!" They greeted him back as the man grunted, looking them over. His smile did not waver, though now they looked; it reminded them too much of how he looked when he mentioned summer classes. Wait…

Vlad could take just a little joy in how nervous his students were about this and prolong it a little longer. "Well, I won't lie. I could hear the topic of discussion as I approached, but before I can move on to what you wish to hear, I want to go over how we graded your finals."

"While you were competing as duos, we also watched for your individual performances. The reason? The chain's only as strong as its weakest link, so while the team could perfect well, that doesn't mean both performed at the same level." Vlad explained, which sounded simple enough to them, though it also made a few of them worry as they recalled that they weren't the powerhouse on their teams or made mistakes that were sure to cost them.

"I have a bad feeling about this." Monoma quipped, a smug look on his face, but one that didn't reach his eyes as sweat gathered on his brow.

"Both the teams and you as individuals were graded on a letter system with the highest being A and the lowest being an F, which naturally would go to any that failed." Vlad continued. "For your writing, all of you passed. Congratulations on not just trying to cram as our papers are designed that such a cheap tactic is more likely to lose you points."

That said, Vlad looked over his class; more accurately, he looked towards a few faces. "That said, Kurorio, Fukidashi, Tetsutetsu and Kamakiri." As he called out their names, each jolted to attention, with Tetsutetsu gulping as he recognized that look in Vlad's eye—the same look his old math teacher often gave him.

"You might have all passed, but your grades aren't anything to be proud of. I expect you to hit the books while you're on your summer break, as come second semester, your mid-terms and finals won't be as easy." Vlad warned them, as U.A. didn't believe in 'passing grades', not when their Motta was Plus Ultra.

"Easy?" Kaibara mouthed, as those exams were no joke. He was lucky that he had studied as hard as he had and was attentive in class; otherwise, he would have been lost several times.

"The long and short of it is that while a team could have passed, that doesn't mean its members both did, so keep that in mind as you see your grades." Vlad pulled out a remote and pointed it towards the green board, pressing a button to present their grades.

When it came to their written portion, Tokage grumbled about being beaten out by Honenuki again, who preened at his place at the top. Monoma could take solace in that he had performed better than the mid-terms while Rin sighed at his drop, but he couldn't be too upset when he considered those who ranked above him.

Shiozaki and Midoriya were happy that they had both performed better, the latter happy that all those study sessions were helping him regain the level of academic performance he used to maintain before he left for his training mission with Shizune.

Kamakiri grumbled when he saw why Vlad was in his ass, as he had really dropped in the rankings. At the same time, Tsunotori cheered at her grade improvement, as it was much easier for her to answer questions when she could read and write Japanese correctly. Komori was the same as it wasn't much, but she had improved, which would be great to tell her parents later.

When it came to their practicals, Tokage and Rin celebrated. They were the sole team to get what had to be a perfect grade for their performance, outperforming even their class's powerhouse, Midoriya, who, along with Komori, came in at second best. Most didn't see any issues with their grades, though Shishida felt his team could have done better if he hadn't been taken out for a while.

Yanagi and Shoda wondered how they scored the same as Kuroiro and Kamakiri. While Present Mic had them cornered for a time, they hadn't struggled nearly as much as their classmates, who could do nothing but run from Nezu's wrath. Tetsutetsu couldn't disagree with his grade, as if not for Kaibara, he would have continued trying to force his way to Cementoss and probably been defeated.

Shiozaki frowned but also didn't fight her grade. She could admit that she had been overly abrasive, stiff, and unwilling to compromise with her teammate, which was a significant factor in why they struggled as much as they did. Monoma just slumped at his grade, being the only one in the class who failed, while Awase had barely passed to begin with.

As they looked over their grades, Vlad could see all that in their faces. It was why he, unlike Eraser, showed them such things now. "You can tell some of you need to work on your skills moving forward."

"Yeah, I kinda figured that we barely passed that match." Awase exhaled, as he was sure it was more luck than anything else that saw him pass through the gate and fall back into the arena.

"Wait, Monoma failed?" Bondo asked.

"Well, he was out of it for pretty much the entire match. Shishida was also knocked out, but that was later into the match, and even then, it came to." Midoriya explained though he could understand that his friend must have felt like crap right now.

"I just had the worst luck then," Monoma said, as if he had just been better or had some means to counter Midnight's gas…well, it didn't matter now; no one could change the past. So, he sucked it up and sat up to address his classmates. "I'm sorry, guys, I ruined our perfect game against class A."

"You're still on about that? Midoriya said that 2 of their teams failed; that's at least 4 times our fail rate." Kaibara reminded him, but that didn't get Monoma's spirits up.

"This time around, we acted as villains, and while we were wearing weights to slow us down, I can bet a few of you already figured out that we were still holding back." Vlad addressed them, though his gaze went towards the two who had placed at the top. Tokage nodded, as that was how they managed to defeat Thirteen.

"It certainly didn't come off as such…" Kuroiro grumbled.

Vlad disagreed with his shadow-walking student. "You would think, but even with your match, Kuroiro, the principal left a path for you and Kamakiri to take, leading both to him and to the exit. If he had truly wished for you to fail, you would have. The same for Midnight. She wore a specially made pair of heels that made more noise and put herself into positions where she could be seen before she made her move."

Thinking about it like that, they could start seeing how they had managed to pass wasn't just their skills. Even Vlad had held back as he had managed to sneak up on Kodai and Bondo and could have quickly taken them out before they could fight, but he hadn't…

"And there was the face she didn't start making it till she got close. Now that I think about it, she could have flooded the entire area with it." Awase remembered.

"So we just missed the signs then." Monoma felt even worse, as it made the difference between first years like them and veterans all the larger.

Vlad didn't want them to get big heads, but he also didn't want them to fall into a hole. "You're still students, so while I expect you to learn from this, don't agonize for too long. Now, as for why we told you we were hunting you like you were the villains, we wanted to push you into a corner and test you, and for the most part, you all performed well."

"We'll work on the finer details of all this when we come back from camp, as while we're there, we'll be working mainly on ways to strengthen your bodies and quirks, not necessarily technique." He continued.

Their day was much easier than typical, closer to their first day, as most of their classes had been little more than summarizing topics and discussing what they'd overcome in the second semester. So when the final bell rang, most didn't feel the same exhaustion that came from a long day of studies; their moods were made all the better as it marked the beginning of their summer break.

Of course, while it was mainly general studies that were celebrating and no doubt coming up with all sorts of plans, students in the hero and support courses weren't going to have the entire break to goof off, among other reasons to be except the generally good mood sweeping across campus.

"Chin up, Monoma. We can still find something we can do together." Shoda tried to cheer up their resistant copy quirk user.

"Like what? I'll be stuck in extra classes with class A's failures while you all have the time of your lives." Monoma said as he could only imagine all the fun he would miss out on with his classmates as he did make-up classes.

"We could try to do something before the camp starts; it's not for two weeks, right?" Fukidashi suggested.

"We'll need to plan around who's going to be around for stuff," Shishida noted that he had plans to visit his grandparents, who lived by Lake Tazawa for a few days. Others also had plans around family, friends, or just doing as they pleased.

"Speaking of planning, we'll need to ensure we have everything we'll need for the coming camp," Tsuburaba mentioned.

"He's right. We'll need new swimsuits, hiking shoes, food, fireworks, and a grill." Tokage listed various items.

"I don't think we'll need to bring a grill. They'll probably provide us one." Kaibara countered, only for the Lizard Tail splitter to wave that off.

"Kaibara, we shouldn't take our teachers for granted. They're always going on about being prepared." Knowing U.A., they could give them the bare minimum for lodging and cooking and have them make shelter and campfires to cook their food for themselves.

"By your logic, we'll need to bring our own food," Yanagi noted as Tokage turned to her, confused.

"Of course, they'll feed us, but bringing junk food seems like a great idea." She ignored how perplexed Yanagi got at her retort and moved on.

"Oh much?" Awase asked her, to which she flashed a massive smile.

With pearly white teeth on full display, she answered. "The amount that makes you question why the following morning during training." Was that a terrible decision? Oh, for sure, but summer was all about making mistakes and having fun doing them.

"I think I'll just stick to fruits, thank you very much. But I'll need to pack a lot, or maybe I should bring the dried ones. More bang for your buck…." Midoriya turned down her…generous offer to purposely sicken himself, though it had been a while since he last ate sweets. He's been getting his sugar fix from either tea he made extra sugary, juice, or fruits ever since he heard it was better for him when he was 8. Now, it was more habit than anything else.

Kamakiri pat his back before he could go further down the rabbit hole. "Well, since you are your class rep and vice rep, you can handle all that stuff." He pointed towards Tokage as well.

"You expect us to carry all of that?" Midoriya asked him.

"It's not like you'll buy it all at once. We don't even know where we can store it all." Kamakiri retorted as it seemed unfair to have one person store it all at their place, but they couldn't wait until the last minute either. Maybe renting out storage would work?

"We can ask the teachers about storing it all on campus; that could work," Shishida suggested that, as the school was massive and with summer break, there was bound to be plenty of unused space; their class, for example, could be considered such.

"What about the personal stuff we'll need? I'm pretty sure I need new swimming trunks." Fukidashi only had his old middle school swim trunks, and yeah, he would be caught dead sooner than wearing those now. He was not confident to pull off the look when he would surely be the only one.

"We can go together then! How about tomorrow?" Komori suggested, thinking of the fun they could all have on a class shopping trip. She had even figured out the perfect spot, Kiyashi Wars Shopping Mall, with plenty of stores catering to as many clients as possible.

Sadly for her plans, half the class, though some had prior obligations or were disinterested, said they couldn't go. With that many absent, what was the point then? "Awww…"

Midoriya gave her an assuring pat on the back. "We can head out some other time. Tokage and I don't head out for a couple of days." As she nodded but still looked down, Midoriya felt a strange sense that he was being glared at. When he turned, he saw only Monoma and Kuroiro there, and the latter was trying to cheer up the former.

'Strange.' He shrugged as he returned to tending to Komori, missing how Kuroiro held back comical tears at seeing his close friend having such a…friendly interaction with the girl he was crushing on.

In their sister class, they were also having a similar conversation, the only one that ended with most deciding that it would be worth it to change whatever plans they might have about their Saturday to head out to Kiyashi for some shopping. That done, the class had largely disappeared, with mainly the boys saying goodbye and leaving the girls to discuss something.

"Wait, so we're not meant to take any long trips over summer vacation?" Uraraka asked.

"That's what the school said," Jiro replied.

Yaoyorozu sighed. "How unfortunate, I planned to spend several weeks touring Venice with my parents." This was not the first and probably wouldn't be the last time, but just how blasé Momo could be with her wealth could turn heads. Uraraka looked like she was moments away from a wealth-induced seizure.

"What is your life?" Hagakure had to catch the gravity girl before she hit the floor. However, she, too, was stunned that Yaomomo's family had something like that planned. The best her folks ever did was a 2-week trip to Okinawa for their 20th wedding university a couple of years back that she had joined them on for the savings.

Moving past that, Ashido was still down. Both from knowing they had been punked by Aizawa's logical deception about keeping those who failed out of camp and the news that she couldn't even have a summer anywhere near as awesome as she had planned. "Aw man, and I just spent a whole bunch of money on a ton of new swimsuits; we don't even need to go for the training camp for another two weeks."

"It sucks, but when we've been attacked by League of Villains." Kendo reminded them that even if they technically had gone after them once as Hosu was a fluke, there was no way the League knew Iida would be there, never mind her and Midoriya.

Ashido didn't care that it made sense; it was still as boring as dirt! "I wanna do something! I can't spend my whole summer bored; that's no way to live!"

"Well, why don't we get together for a pool day? We can ask to use the one here." Hagakure suggested, unknown to the girls, that one of the few boys present, Mineta, was listening. His head rested on his folded arms as if he were napping, but now that he had heard that, he wasn't so foolish as to give the ghost away.

Lucky for him, it seemed like the idea was catching traction as Asui was the first to agree. "(Kero) Not a bad idea, but would they allow us? Aizawa-sensei doesn't seem like the type to agree with. Maybe Midnight or Present Mic?"

Shit, that was a good point. Aizawa was a buzzkill at the best of times, and he would especially be on their case since Ashido failed, probably would go like, 'You should take that time to train' and refuse. Midnight could approve, as could Mic, but it was still a risky gambit.

As Mineta dreaded that his dreams of seeing the girls in skimpy bikinis and swimsuits were to remain just that, Uraraka came in for the save. "Well, if we need somewhere, why don't we ask Midoriya? His master's place had that lake, and I heard they even have a couple of pools."

Uraraka thought it was a pretty good idea, sans the whole being made into a big cat's cuddle buddy against her will. The entire place was a riot to go to, and that was when they were studying and didn't have time to goof off. Besides, it would be free, and they wouldn't have to worry about the same things as they would with the public pool.

Kendo thought it over, as out of all of them, including her vice rep, Yaomomo, she knew Midoriya best and could better understand that rubric cube he called a mind. "From how he talks about his master, she's not likely to refuse."

Ashido was immediately on board with the idea. "Not gonna lie, that sounds better than being cooped up in my room. Plus, I get to finally see this place, you two make it sound like it's some fantasy wonderland."

"It is; how many places can you think about when a tiger can just…drag you off for snuggles with you? That was scary the first time." Uraraka defended, as Ashido hadn't believed that it had happened. Only when Iida showed the picture did the rest buy it before Sero fell over laughing at how terrified she looked. In contrast, the tiger looked so at peace and lazy.

"We should be able to find Midoriya now and ask him ourselves," Jiro suggested as if they hurried; they could catch him before he left campus. That agreed, the groups of class 1-A left the class, never sparing Mineta a second thought as the shortest roster member raised his head, a perverted smirk growing on his face.

'Oh, my my my…what wonderful news.' Oh, he had to move fast if he was to enjoy such lovely fruits, so he quickly packed his staff and made his way out, waiting just long enough that the few classmates still present wouldn't think anything of it.

Outside, the girls made their way down the halls to class B. Midoriya walked around with Kuroiro, Komori, Tokage Monoma, and Kodai at his side, the four in conversation as Kendo called out to him. "Midoriya! Do you have a minute?"

Midoriya had heard them coming but hadn't thought anything of it; they passed each other in the halls all the time. But Kendo calling out to him was rare, so he turned his full attention from her. "Sure, is there something you all need?"

"What's wrong with Monoma?" Jiro asked as Monoma had been down the entire.

Midoriya waved it off. "Don't worry about it." Seeing that he might have just made a fool of himself, Tokage and Kuroiro decided to escort Monoma away.

Deciding to trust his word on that, Kendo moved straight to the point. "Your master's estate has a pool, right?"

It was an odd question, but Midoriya had no reason to lie or suspect anything, so he answered honestly. "Three of them, why?"

Ashido popped forward; those black and gold eyes focused on him like an excited laser. "You think that she'll let us one of them. We wanted to do something fun with summer here and the rule against traveling."

He…wasn't expecting that, but it wasn't a bad idea. In fact, he had planned to spend time at the lake for similar reasons. "I assume that it's for the girls, then?" He asked, to which they all nodded. "Well, I can't see her refusing. She does know at least two of you…I'll ask her when I see her tonight and send you the reply." The master spoke about Kendo and Uraraka, more the former than the latter. While she was cryptic, he could tell she was invested in Kendo's journey to becoming a proper heroine.

"Just to be clear, you don't want the lake?"

"Is it better?" Yaoyorozu asked, as truth be told, she had never swam in a lake before. She had done so in pools and often at high-end resorts, but a lake? That sounded rustic…she liked it.

Midoriya smiled, recalling all the times he would swim in that and the river up on Shizune's mountain. He didn't know why, but it felt better than pools on his skin. "It's more natural, so expect it to be uneven and filled with fish." He had guessed it was the presence of natural life with little human interference, something you could never get in a pool kept sterile through regular cleaning and chorine.

"That sounds better than a swimming pool." Ashido certainly preferred that to the school's pool.

"Could we also join?" Komori asked, figuring that the rest of the class B girls wouldn't mind a day of fun before they went on their training trip.

"Sure, girl, the more the merrier!" Ashido replied, the rest agreeing with her as Midoriya nodded.

"Then I'll speak with my master later. Have a good day." With that done, the two groups broke off to head their separate ways.

Midoriya had wished his friends goodbye, having stayed behind to ask about that storage space from Vlad, which he granted. It was just Kuroiro who had stayed so they could walk to the station together. Now they were making their way towards the gate, having completed their first semester at U.A. Izuku was already wondering what their second would bring. "Midoriya, my dude, wait up!"

The two looked behind and saw two people racing to meet them, both people Izuku recognized but had never spoken to.

"Kaminari…Mineta?" What could they want with him?

"We have a huge favor to ask." Reaching him, Kaminari clapped his hands and bowed to him, and Mineta did the same.

The two class B students shared a confused glance. "Okay…" This was getting stranger by the minute.

Getting up, Kaminari explained things. "We didn't do so well on the exams. I'm sure I barely passed, and I tanked my practicals against Nezu."

"No shame in that, the rat's unforgiving…" Kuroiro muttered; a Kamakiri had looked like he was about to have a heart attack when Nezu had just appeared behind him to 'check up on him,' but their table bet that he had just wanted to scare him.

"That's sad to hear, but couldn't you ask someone in your class for help studying then? I'm sure Yaoyorozu would be more than happy to." According to Kendo, Yaoyorozu had placed at the top of their class in the finals and performed pretty well in their practicals, being the one that came up with the winning plan she and Todoroki used to capture Eraser.

"We already have something lined up for that," Kaminari said. Midoriya was crafty, incredibly crafty, so they couldn't give him time to think about this. That was why he was leading when it was Mineta's idea. We waited to ask if we couldn't head to your master's place for some waterside endurance training."

"Waterside…endurance training…?" Midoriya's feline ears twitched in confusion at that; he even leaned his head to the side while Kurorio's eyes narrowed at the two, trying to pick apart their request. However, he didn't know them enough to have any good way of judging the sincerity of the offer.

Kaminari could feel the weight of their eyes on him and knew that he needed to pull out an Oscar-level performance, though he didn't need to fake the nervousness. "Well, I read that doing stuff in the water takes more out of you, so it's a great place to train up endurance. Plus, it's summer, so why not break out the swim shorts?"

'Why do I feel like I'm missing something?' Midoriya was no fool, but he would entertain this…for now. "And you couldn't ask the school because?"

"Come on, man! Sure, they'll say yes, but Mineta's seen your place-" Kaminari started replying, but Midoriya cut him off.

"It's not my place."

Mineta picked up the slack. "You know what we mean. The point is, it's a really cool spot, and we really wanted to get our training done there!" Midoriya frowned, as this was incredibly unexpected. They didn't strike him as the sort that would request extra training, not unless forced. Still, the request seemed innocent enough…though maybe that was why he just couldn't shake the feeling it wasn't.

"I'll speak with my master, but I make no promises. Should I just send the details to Kendo or Yaoyorozu?" Midoriya asked as he had their numbers.

"No!" the two yelled, nearly in sync, Midoriya grimacing at how loud they were on his sensitive eats. The two realized their mistake and started backpedaling. "I mean, you shouldn't bother them with this; you can just send it to us if that's okay?"

'Oh, something is happening here between them…' Why wouldn't they want him to tell Kendo or Yaoyorozu about this? In fact, he was already going to…wait a second. Now that he thought about it these two tricked their class girls into cheerleading costumes, didn't they? Mineta also came off as a massive pervert from what little he knew about him. And the girls had come to him with a similar request.

Oh, cheeky devils thought they could get one past him? Well, he would make sure that they never believed such nonsense again.

Making a show of consideration, Midoriya nodded, a faint smile on his face as the two beamed at him. "Sure, what's your info?" Both eagerly shared their contact details with him before rushing past him. They kept their cool for a moment before breaking out into excited whispers. It would seem that they didn't know he had better hearing than most, but credit where credit was due; they didn't openly give the game away. Their conversation about getting what they wanted wouldn't mean much if he hadn't figured it out.

"I suspect that they're up to something," Kuroiro stated, to which Midoriya smiled like a cat who found the canary.

"Kuroiro, my friend. They very much are. I know that most of us will be busy, but I'll need your help with something." He turned to his friend, who could see that he was cooking something devious in his head.

Kuroiro only matched his smile as he wanted to get involved. "Shoot."

The day seemed to take its sweet time, grinding on Mineta and Kaminari's patience, but it eventually arrived. Both woke up bright and early, getting messages from class B's rep that he had given them permission and even offered to escort them to the place. This offer made Mineta think he was such a friendly guy—friendly and gullible.

Just to do a quick victory lap, he replied that he remembered the way and could lead Kaminari without issue. Midoriya's response only made them feel smugger than they were about their deception. So when they arrived, they found that their host waited for them by the entrance in loose summer clothing, and both Kaminari and Mineta were in high spirits.

"I have to admit, Kaminari, but using the pool to improve our stamina was a great idea." Midoriya continued to sing their praises as they changed into their swim trunks, both boys having gone with their U.A. issued ones, having not bothered to get more, but also help sell the idea that they were there for training. Midoriya, strangely enough, was wearing typical green Hawaiian swim shots. "Also, I already spoke with my master, and so long as we clean up afterward, we can use our quirks however we like."

Both were surprised by the number of scars on his body but pushed past it when their goal was within reach, only moments away. "Just what you'll expect from us heroes, no big deal." Kaminari gloated.

"You know what we're going to do? Go beyond, plus ultra!" Mineta added to that as Midoriya happily followed their school motto's example.

'He doesn't suspect a thing.' Kaminari thought, as it was honestly amazing that Midoriya was this trusting.

'I didn't think pulling the wool over his eyes would be easy, but I'm not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth.' Mineta didn't care for the why, only that it was happening.

'If this works, it'll be a defining moment of our lives.' Kaminari didn't say it, but Mineta could understand him as both were close to drooling from their thirst.

'All the girls in their swimsuits! I even heard that class B's lovely ladies will be there too!' Mineta felt his heart race at this miracle from God, proving even Kami loved pervs.

'We can't miss this chance!' They raced down the path leading towards the lake, their bare feet slapping the gravel.

'Hurry, hurry! Paradise is waiting on the other side of this door!' Mineta couldn't wait for his eyes to bear witness to-

"There you are, slow pokes. I was getting worried." His eyes shot wide open when Iida was there to meet them, and the boy was also wearing casual swim attire. His presence shocked them that they tripped and slid past him, their faces digging into the gravel as they got up, dirty and spitting out loose stones and dirt and seeing that it wasn't just Iida, but their entire class plus class B's boys. All looked like they were planning a day at the beach, with umbrellas set up, beach chairs and towels laid out, the two tables having all kinds of food and drink set up, and everything.

Why were they the odds ones out?!

"What the heck are you guys doing here?" Kaminari asked.

"And why is class B here as well?" Mineta grumbled as Shishida was not what he expected to see.

"Dude, this is Midoriya's spot, so we should ask you that question," Kaibara told them as he lay on a chair under an umbrella, shielding himself from the sun.

"Didn't you get the memo? We're here for some summer fun before the training camp." Sero raised an eyebrow at the two, as Midoriya's message had been pretty clear. The two felt dread forming in their guts when they saw others nodding along, having received a message from Midoriya about him wanting to host a lake day since they couldn't travel.

Looking at the source of that, Midoriya had taken his time as he walked from the changing rooms, his smile looking much more dangerous now as he gestured to the group. "I thought it would be a great way to relax and build comradery between our two classes. After all, we aim to be heroes, so we should get to know one another." His words sounded sincere, but Kaminari and Mineta noticed how his hands swayed and moved, directing attention to those claws of his, which they were pretty sure weren't for show.

"You did what? Now all our plans are ruined." Kaminari muttered as they should have planned for it. If the girls had asked for a beach day, of course, Midoriya would have thought about extending it to the guys. No wonder he had looked confused by their request; he must have been considering it then.

"Don't lose hope yet; there's definitely going to be light at the end of the tunnel." Mineta cheered him on, as it wasn't what they wanted, but who cared if they were other guys? If he could get a look at Yaoyorozu's busty chest, Ashido's fantastic ass, Asui's eye-watering thighs, and legs, or just how thicc Uraraka was, it was still a win!

'I'll burn the sight into my brain!' Kaminari nodded; his spirit strengthened as he turned to find where the girls were hiding.

"Wait...they're not here?" Only for the two to not see one of them, and not in the 'they were already in the water' or 'Hagakure being invisible and probably nude' either. There was no sign of them at all.

"Who's not here?" Kuroiro sneaked up on them both, scaring them both; the black-skinned teen's toothy grin was as unnerving as always. "Were you expecting someone else?"

Looking around, they saw the others also confused by their response. Still, their eyes landed on Midoriya, who continued to smile at them, his ears twitching in a way that seemed cute but came off as threatening like he was warning them not to mess up. "Well, I mean, Bakugo! We were talking about Bakugo and Kirishima; they're not here."

"Yeah, it's totally them we're talking about." Mineta quickly jumped onto that explanation as Iida sighed.

Reaching for his nose, the speedster grumbled why they were absent. "They're running late, as per usual with them. Honestly, I doubt that Bakugo accepted the invite at all. He and Midoriya get along as well as puppies and fire ants." He had offered to escort them, but Kirishima had promised that he could find their way, though he was doubtful that he could convince Bakugo to attend when he knew who would be there.

"The girls should be here any minute; they just wanted to check out the Tigers and Panthers," Todoroki added.

"Oh, then we can just wait?" Kaminari moved to sit and do just that, only for Midoriya to purr next to his ear, getting him to jump as he hadn't heard him coming.

"And why would you need to do that?" Midoriya's ear-lids fell, his smile going from bright to easygoing, but also…knowing?

"…it would be pretty rude if we started having fun before they arrived." Mineta jumped in, only for Midoriya to lean back, inspecting those claws of his.

"I don't think you two need to worry about it. We're here to goof around, but you two wanted to train, right? Unless, of course," He placed a hand on their shoulders, squeezing just enough that his dark emerald green claws threatened to pierce the skin, but not quite. "You were lying to me."

The two gulped as his eyes grew intense, each word spoken in a way that drew their terrified eyes to his sharpened canines. "I would be real hurt if I learned two of my fellow heroes in training tried to trick me. I would wonder why they would try to do that, and well…"

"O-of course not! We would never do that, right Kaminari?" Mineta quickly lied to save their asses, as he didn't know what Midoriya would do, and he didn't want to find out.

"R-right! We're here to train, so let's get to it." Kaminari nodded as fast as humanely possible, as Midoriya was terrifying!

Midoriya went from a fearsome tiger to your granny's new kitten like a switch had been flipped. Releasing them, he clapped his hands in delight. "I'm so glad you feel that way; I was worried that I would need to get Ruby and Sapphire involved if you were doing something crazy, like deceiving me into giving you a chance to eye up the girls. But if that's not the case," He looked behind them. "They're all yours."

"Thanks for that; we'll take it from here!" Obi laughed as he approached the beast of a man wearing nothing but a speedo, which really made both feel self-conscious. If Obi was the picture of a peak man, then the old lady wobbling next to him, also in a swim suit but mercifully one that covered much more, was like a reminder of time.

"You're Kaminari and Mineta, right? Well, I'm Obi, and along with Granny Biscuit, we just want to say it's commendable that when your friends were going to have fun in the sun, you decided to better yourselves." Obi continued to laugh, his large frame coming towards them like a tsunami as both were left silent from terror and confusion.

"Well then, you brats, let's get going. We'll train on the other side of the lake so your friends' fun doesn't distract you. Let's get to sweating," Biscuit told them as she picked up Mineta like he was her tiny dog. Obi scooped up Kaminari as they turned to leave. The two boys were now fighting against them, but both were far stronger than them.

"No, wait, please!"

"I didn't want to see a granny in a bathing suit; let me go!"

The boys of the two hero classes watched as the two were carted off to their dull, weird fates. It was only when the two were out of sight that Midoriya spoke. "You can come out now; they're gone."

At that, the girls, who had been present the entire time, came out of their hiding spots. As Kaminari and Mineta had hoped, they had all dressed in pretty swimming gear, not that they would see it as the other side of the lake was over 300m swim away. "Midoriya, have I ever told you how evil you can be?" Kendo asked; the girl had gone for a simple white two-piece bikini that highlighted how muscular she was.

Unable to keep it in longer, Midoriya started to laugh as his plan had gone off without a hitch. He wasn't even the only one as he had told both groups what he suspected the two were up to, and now that they saw them get their just rewards, there were smiles all around. "Nope, but in this case, I'll happily take that as a compliment."

"I could barely hold back my laughter when they thought it'll be a total sausage fest; I have to borrow one of Shiozaki's vines to gag myself." Ashido laughed; the girl wore a dark pink sporty one-piece with purple tiger stripes. Shiozaki also wore white, like Kendo, but while she wore a bikini-like top, her lower half wore slim-fitting shorts and knee-length cloth wrapping.

"Serves those two pervs right. We should have known better than to discuss this when Mineta was close." Jiro crossed her arms, having gone for an orange and blue tank top that exposed her belly and dark green slim shorts with orange and lime green patterns.

"More like he should know better than to try and catch a look of us." Yanagi counted; what she wore was only known to the girls as she had arrived at the lakeside wearing a sizeable white hoodie.

"I agree, it was why I went along with that façade, though it feels…dirty." Iida sighed as he had been uneasy about the entire deception.

"It's for the greater good, Iida. Maybe next time they get it in their heads, they'll remember what it got them." Monoma, for one, was on their side, or maybe it was because class A still came out looking bad, as none of class B's boys would ever be so uncivilized or controlled by hormones.

"Why do I feel you also did it because you didn't want them to see your girlfriend over there?" Hagakure teased as Teitora had managed to hide…somehow. But now that she was out and in the open, she was to the girls what Obi was to the boys. Her massive size only made her curves all the greater, something her orange boy short two-piece couldn't hide.

"Guilty." Midoriya was, in turn, shameless about that. "Now, what should we play first?"

"Well, what about water volleyball? I brought a ball for it." Komori picked up the inflatable ball in question.

"I'm not sure I'm the best person for that," Teitora noted, as she wouldn't be nearly as slowed by the others in the water unless they went deeper, which would just be unfair to them.

"Nonsense. We want everyone to have fun." Yaoyorozu was the one to speak up. She didn't know the woman all that well, but she seemed like a pleasant person to be around, and she would hate to make her feel uncomfortable with them.

"You're not getting rid of us so easily. Besides, if you can stomach dating that cat," Tokage pointed towards Midoriya, who hissed at her but ignored it. "Then you gotta be a stellar gal."

"Well," The fox woman thought about it, but looking over the entire group, she couldn't see a hint of discomfort or distrust in them. They were open with her, and Midoriya gave her the biggest thumbs up; she couldn't deny them. "Okay, but don't complain when I win."

Well, that ran longer than I thought; unedited, this chapter was 7915 words. But I don't regret it, as it seemed like a fun way to cap off season 2 while also pulling in stuff from season 3's first episode. Sadly, there was a scene I had to axe, but it can be easily altered and put into the next as we're off to I-island.

Oh, and before I forget, here are the pictures of the girls in their swimwear; I tried to find stuff for the boys when I was writing it, inspiration and all that, but only found the school-approved costumes and the official art of them at the beach but that contained just class A, and their girl's stuff wasn't the same-look, I tried.
