As Rin plans to make her move another battle within the city is about to commence within Ryuudou Temple...

Byakuya was not one to praise others lightly let alone view them as his equal.

But this Servant before him…at least in pure swordsmanship proves to be his better.

For the skill that Assassin displayed wasn't something that was hone by talent or training alone, but rather by sheer dedication and discipline on a level so great that it made Byakuya's own form looked amateurish in comparison. Even though he had over a hundred years of experience to hone it.

So great was the gap in skills between them that Byakuya nearly lost his head several times by Assassin's blade, while the captain couldn't find or exploit a single opening within his opponents defenses and eventually Byakuya knew that if the battle continued on like this, he will eventually lose.

The Captain then decided to change tactics by using a flash step to get behind Assassin and attacked him with Senbonkazra but the Servant blocked the strike with ease.

"Aren't you becoming a bit predictable Captain?" Assassin teased. "Surly you would of realized that simply attacking me from behind is not going to work"

Byakuya narrowed his eyes. "Perhaps…if that was my intention" the captain then surged his Spirtual power and used another flash step to attack Assinsan again with the latter blocking the strike once more only for the captain to attack again and again, each time at a different angle and each time the Servant block almost casually.

…until Byakuya's sword Managed to chip off a sl bitdefeating me…I admit it is rather straight forward and blunt for a strategy from what I first thoughofrom your experience.

The captain readied his stance. "I will admit that such a strategy would only work on those that yet properly channel their spiritual power into their blades…but in your case" he then focused his eyes on Assassin's blade. "Your sword while finely made, is still just a mundane weapon in comparison to the strength of a Zanpakuto or Noble Phantasm"

Assassin then chuckled. "Indeed…unlike most servants or Shinigami like yourself I have no means to reinforce my blade with magic or spiritual energy and thus my sword suffers the weakness and wear and tear of an ordinary one" he then focused his gaze on the captain and adjusted his stance. "Which is why I believe it is time to put this battle to a close"

Byakuya then readied himself in response. "Indeed…"

The two men then rushed at each other in what could be their final clash.

Meanwhile within a fiery bounded field. Caster had just finished her huge assault of rain of light and when the smoke cleared she was pleased by the result.

For the once magnificent Bankai of Daiguren Hyōrinmaru was reduced to pile of broken melted ice with the wings themselves reduced to stumps, the dragon gauntlet cracked and falling apart and even the blade and handle of the zanpakuto itself battered and cracked. While Toshiro breathed heavily after protecting mastmoto. Yet he continues to stare at Caster in defiance.

"I will admit I didn't expect you survive such a long assault from the full power of my spell" she then conjured another group of magical circles. "Let's see if you can repeat that miracle a second time"

Toshiro growled in frustration as he pointed his Zanpakuto at caster trying to figure how to get him his lieutenant out of this mess.

However to everyone's surprise the right side of the bounded field was shattered and when the young captain saw the smoke cleared he was stunned by what he saw.

For it was Captain Mayuri in a pharaoh like headpiece along with his vice-captain Nemu.

"Well, I must admit that was bit more troublesome to break through than I calculated …" he then looked over to Captain Hitsugaya. "Though it seems we made it in time none the less"

Caster then frowns at the odd-looking Shinigami. "So…it would seem that you have indeed survive against my Servant" she then smirked. "Though I find it amusing that you come to try your luck with me, given that I have already defeated one of you captains"

Mayrui then snorted. "I will admit my poor performance against that Servant was rather embarrassing on my part since I never bothered to fully analyze his abilities beforehand" his grin then darken. "However, I refused to make the same mistake in regard to you Servant"

Caster then grin before firing a huge volley of light beams at the captain, fully expecting the Shinigami to flee or dodge the attack.

But what he did neither.

Instead, Mayrui pulled out small metal twig like device in front of him and just right when the light beams could hit him. The device projected a translucent honeycomb shape force field that negated the spells the moment they made impact, much to Caster's shock.

"It is rather trivial in how easy it is negate Magecraft even those that came from the age of the gods, almost as if it were another form of Kido" Mayrui taunted casually.

Which made Caster sneer in disgust. "I Suggest that you don't compare my magical arts to your crude Kido" she spat and then conjured more flaming dragon tooth familiars by the hundreds and larger violet spell circles in beside her. "Otherwise, I will make you regret it!"

Maryui then snorted. "Oh please, I have already researched plenty of your so called Magecraft decades ago and there is nothing more to described it. In fact, I dare say the magecraft of the modern era is for more interesting to research if not for its reliance on the majority of human ignorance to get itself to work" he then waved up both of his right hand and revealed a trigger button. "Thankful my ingenuity is reliant purely on knowledge…" he then presses the button, and several explosions detonated across the barrier field much to caster's surprise and confusion. "And the means to act upon it"

Caster's jaw dropped her upon seeing the literal shattered remains of her boundary field. 'He not only managed to find and break through my boundary field…but set up explosions powerful to destroy it!?' she thought in anger.

But before she could take out on the Mayrui, she felt a swift cold presence coming from behind her and she turn around she saw that Toshiro was quickly restoring his Bankai and even repairing his sword. Before then launching a huge wave of ice at Caster which frozen her flaming dragon tooth soldiers and force her to counter by launching several of her beams of light at once to counter the blast. Resulting in a massive explosion of ice of magical energy.

"You have lost your advantage over me Caster…" Toshiro announces as he pointed his Zanpakuto at the frustrated servant. "And now it is time to end this"

Caster then chuckled at the comment. "End it?" She mocked the captain while using her staff to conjure more magical circles in the air. "You think that just because you have full access to your Bankai you think you are capable of matching my Magecraft?" she then lowered her voice menacingly. "Or have you forgotten that I still have enough power to level this entire city?"

Toshiro then focused his gaze on Caster. "I haven't…but it seems you have forgotten…" he began to state as the air became much cooler. Then before Caster could attack with her rays of light the Servant suddenly noticed dozens on huge ice pillars have surrounded her much to her surprised. "That I control all the moisture within the atmosphere itself!"

Toshiro then turn his sword clockwise and all pillars then slammed themselves into her. Crushing her body, freezing it solid and quickly broke apart into shattered ice.

Yet just when the captain could secure his victory, he immediately sense dozens of violet magical circles above him and quickly form a massive ice shield to block the rays of light. While Caster smiled smugly at him.

"And you seem to have forgotten that by drawing on the power of the lay line itself I essentially possess an infinite amount of magical power at my disposal!" Caster boasted. "So, I wonder which one of use will run out of power first!?"

Toshiro sighed in frustration as he prepared to face the powerful sorceress once more.

Meanwhile at the Ryudan temple Byakuya and Assinsan continue to engage in a fierce clash of blades. With the later adjusting his fighting to deflect and dodge the Shinigami's and countering whenever he say an opening. While the Captain increased the speed and number of his strikes in hopes of capturing his off guard.

But neither was able to gain an advantage over the other.

"It would seem that in order defeat you, mere speed and strength is not enough" Bakuya announced as he unleashed his bankai once more however instead of a swirling storm of blades they dance around the area. They all lit up like bright pink waves of fire.

"Oh?" Assassin mused as he saw the display. "Are you saying that your Bankai had another form?"

Byakuya stood firm as the flaming pink blades being to glow brighter in its intensity. "What you have faced was merely the unfocused version of my Bankai" The blades the swirled up into the sky and and the area around the two swordsmen darken and before Assissan's eyes he saw to his Amazement four rows of thousands glowing pink blades appearing around him and the captain.

"This is it's true form of Senbonzakura Kageyoshi…Senkai" he annouced while Assassin stared back him.

"In which I sacrifice all defense for the sake of offense, in order personal kill my enemy with my own hands" Byakuya then reached out his right hand and summon a blade from one of the rows and upon grabbing hold of it the glowing blade transform in to the sealed state of his Zanpakuto. "You are but one of the handful to now witness it"

Assisan then chucked. "Well now I truly fell flattered …but I wonder why you won't shoot them all of them at once at me?"

Byakuya then readied his stance. "despite appearances, I meant what I said about about killing my opponent with my own hands"

Assisan smirked in amusement. "So you have…" he the readied his own blade.

Then after a moment of silent the two combatants engaged each other, with Byakuya's attacks becoming more ruthless and assisting attempts parry one of Byakuya's strikes he noticed another and much more deeper chip on his blade.

'It is as I expected…' Assassin concluded in thought as looked over the blade and the thousands of others that circled around him. "By concentrating all those hundreds of millions of blades into a thousand swords the potency of his attacks has increased tremendously, to the point that even parrying them could still chip away at my blade" he then adjusted his stance. 'There is nothing for it…the only way for me to achieve victory is to use my ultimate technique to take him down in single move before he is able to slice my blade in two'

The Servant then launched himself at Byakuya with all his speed and swung his blade forward.

Yet before Byakuya's eyes he saw that three swings had materialized out of thin air, not by a noble phantasm or magecraft of any kind but by the sheer skill of the swordsmen himself. Which had seemingly crossed into the realm of the divine.

The the strike that came from the left Byakuya easily cut through sword with his zanpakuto and then towards it's wielder and for the one on the left he summon an extra blade to block it.

But then the third that came above…

A splatter of blood was unleashed from the captain's upper shoulder that made him sway, while at the same time another far greater gash of blood erupted from Assassin chest.

And after a moment past, Assassin smiled.

"Well played…" the Servant congratulated his foe. " Knowing that you couldn't fully defend against my technique you picked the one option that would leave you with the less wounds…by moving your head and body to side to avoid most of your organs getting sliced…"

Byakuya and closed his eyes. "It was a last-minute gamble, yet the only one I could make to defend against your ability…" he then opens his eyes then shifted his gaze to his fallen foes "Tell me what is your name servant?"

Assassin then chucked. "I am afraid I have no real name of my own…but from who I was based on you can call me Sasaki Kojirou"

The Captain silent for moment. "I see…well regardless of your true identity or not. Your skills as a swordsmen are nothing less then transcendent. Which will only further strive me to improve my own…Sasaki Kojirou"

The Servant then grin. "…and yours?

Captain stood still for a moment before answering.

"Byakuya Kuchuki"

Assassin smiled. Well, I am grateful…to fall to your blade…Byakuya Kuchuki"

And with that Assassin collapsed to his knees and unto the ground dead.

Well, it seems that the Assassin named Sasaki Kojiou has fallen in battle by Byakuya Kuchuki in battle. With the latter using experience, timing and taking a lethal but vital gamble to secure his victory.

Now to address some criticism about me downplaying the bleach characters, overhyping Fate characters and vice versa.

And here is the first thing I am going to say about it...is that power scaling is subjective.

It is not fact, it is not canon to any source material unless one can provide evidence in the source material to justify said power scaling and even then, this usually only goes to characters in their own verse...not in a non-canon fanfic in which two fictional verses are combine into one and are meant to be equal to each other in order to create a balance story.

Especially when both Bleach and Fate have both been wanked and downplayed constantly on both sides of the fandom for over a decade at this point. From some fans arguing they are only city level and others arguing they go up and beyond complex multiversal level.

As for me it goes without saying in my personal interpretation of both series at least in this fanfic neither of them is anywhere near complex multiversal, while at the same time they go far beyond city level.

But if anyone disagree with this stance of mine...well I am sorry.

I am not going to make one verse much stronger than another in a crossover just to satisfy the biased opinion of one fandom only to be criticized by a another.

However, for those are still interested in reading my story thank you for your support and I will be reporting to you all back in the next chapters.

Take care.
