Weiss watched the interaction between Yang and Ruby with a small smile, looking specifically at Ruby. She figured now would be a better time than any to think over everything before she got distracted by another episode. She stares blankly at the ground as all her previous thoughts and reactions come rushing back—all her protective moments, those warm and fuzzy feelings she got at points when Ruby had come on screen. She looks over at Ruby, getting those same emotions as she watches such a large grin bloom.

She looks so cute…

That Dolt…

Why am I feeling this way…?

"I'll kill that man!"

"Team RWBY won't leave you for a second."

She repeated her thoughts and all the things Ruby had said to her. Weiss could feel herself getting frustrated, it was like the answer was right in front of her but it seemed like something was blocking it out, keeping it away from her. Or did she already know what was wrong with her and her mind is trying to do its very best to deny it? The more Weiss attempted to wrack her brain, the more images of Ruby kept flooding her mind. She could feel the heat in her cheeks beginning to burn, her face feeling like it was on fire. Weiss moved a hand to all the places where Weiss remembered her touch.

Weiss chanced one more look at her partner and as she looked over it was as if time had slowed and all she could see was her. That smile, the fire shining in her eyes. It wasn't until now that everything before coming here, all those memories with her back at Beacon…

"Weiss…" Ruby whined, "We've been studying all day, let's take a break and go do something fun!" Weiss looked up from her book, sending a glare in Ruby's direction.

"Ruby, it's only been two hours, and no, we need to study for our test that's coming up in a week. Besides, weren't you the one who asked for us to study?" Weiss commented. Ruby responded by dropping her head on the library table, causing a loud thud. "Ruby!" Weiss scolded the girl, reminding her of where they were.

"Yeah, because we haven't gotten to hang out much lately and I thought this would be the only way to do it."

Weiss felt her cheeks starting to flush and she stammered for a reply, "R-Ruby! Y-You Dolt!" She had no idea what to say, so that was all she was able to get out.

Weiss thinks back to that moment vividly, wondering what the sudden emotions were. Weiss lets out a small gasp when it hits her. She was in love with her partner, Ruby Rose. Blake heard her and turned to the girl, "Weiss, something wrong?" Weiss silently shook her head, her mind still coming to the realization. Ruby looks at her friend worryingly, thinking that something was the matter. She couldn't be farther from the truth. All focused back on the screen just in time for Weiss to come out of her head.

(Volume 5 Intro)

Ghira paces back and forth, a paper in hand as Kali, Blake, and Sun sat in the room. All was quiet when Ghira paused, sighing as he placed a hand on his head.

Everyone was curious as to what the paper said and what the words circled in red were. Were they names? Or specific information that the sender wanted Ghira to know?

Kali placed a hand on her husband's shoulder, asking if he was ready. "Yes, but it won't be easy for the people to hear, but the truth often isn't, I know they'll do the right thing," Ghira replied.

They realized that the paper must be the news of Sienna Khan's death. Or, in the case the rest of them knew, murder.

Blake followed her mother's steps, comforting him. He's surprised when he sees Sun put a hand on his back, "You got this." Ghira stepped outside where a crowd of Faunus were waiting.

The group was all waiting for how the people were going to handle the news of a former leader's death and to receive the news that Adam would be the one to take Sienna Khan's place. They knew there were going to be a lot of upset people.

There were many reporters gaining insight from some of the other citizens as Fennic and Corsic showed their "respects" to Ghira as he grabbed everyone's attention from the podium. "Thank you for assembling here, I wanted to take time to address some of the rumors that have been circulating around our island. I believe that it is important for the people of this territory to understand the truth–"

The students could feel themselves leaning into the TV even though they highly knew the information that Blake's dad was about to share.

"No matter how you feel about the human race, I think we can all agree the event now known as The Fall of Beacon was a tragedy," Ghira started.

If they were being honest, they should have expected that to be a rumor on the island as it's so isolated from the rest of the kingdoms. But if they were also being honest, they thought that Ghira would be addressing the new White Fang leadership. He'll probably get to that and the rest of them are just being a tad bit impatient.

"A tragedy that will set both Man and Faunuskind back. While the main aggressor is still unknown–"

Not unknown to any of them and with the information they knew they planned to use it to get a headstart on Cinder, Salem, and the rest to prevent any kind of tragedy from happening. They will make sure that Beacon remains standing once they all get back.

"We do have official confirmation that Adam Taurus, the leader of a powerful splinter group working inside the White Fang, was partially responsible for these attacks," Ghira directs his attention to Corsic and Fennic for a split second before facing the crowd, "His actions not only tarnish the reputation of an organization originally created to make peace and equality to all but to our entire race."

Yang's hand tightened against the cushion of the couch and she grabbed her personal pillow to calm herself down.

"With each day that this man remains unpunished, it becomes increasingly difficult to condemn those that look down upon us." The crowds whisper amongst themselves and Ghira raises a hand to silence them. "Recently a spy from the same splinter group set their sights on this very home."

All thoughts went to Ilia and then to what they all watched after the first episode.

"My own daughter, Blake, and her friend did their very best to apprehend this individual. While they were unsuccessful after being physically assaulted and seriously injured, they were successful in obtaining the assailant's scroll."

The students got this random feeling of dread, feeling like there was something about this moment that would go wrong. They decided to keep an eye out for anything, like the two White Fang members that get repeatedly panned over to.

Ghira holds up Ilia's scroll, "With this, we have been able to ascertain that Adam Taurus has plans to overthrow the current leader of the White Fang, Sienna Khan, and take over the reins himself."

It was sadly unfortunate that Adam had been able to successfully do that already. Sienna's gasps as the sword impaled her, flashed through their minds. Hearing this, they discovered that their counterparts had no clue that Adam had already taken over.

This information sends the crowd into a frenzy, talking over Ghira as he goes on, "His radical plans do not stop there. The documents on this scroll proclaim that his next target is to be Haven Academy and its attached CCT Tower."

Their plans were to cut off contact from everywhere, so no one could be aware or prepared for the threats that were coming their way.

"Their plan is to strike on the last full moon before the beginning of the fall semester, roughly two months from today. I have sent my swiftest messenger to the government of Mistral, but I believe we have a greater responsibility. My relationship with the White Fang has been…an interesting one."

Before they allow Ghira to go into more depth about his standing with the White Fang, they hoped that the messenger wouldn't be ambushed by either Adam or his followers. If that messenger made it safely to Mistral's government, then they could at least be ready to evacuate when that time arrived.

"Years ago, I led the organization to help try and create a world where I, and every Faunus who wished, could walk alongside the human race. And while I believe we made great strides we made great strides toward this goal, it was made clear to me that the people both in and out of the White Fang wanted faster results."

"And look at how that strategy worked out for us," Sun mumbled, crossing his arms. Blake looked towards her ears as much as she could, but she was remembering how she had to fit in with what society wanted, she had to keep a part of herself hidden.

Yang saw where Blake was looking, "Hey, when we get back, you can put the bow back on if it will make you more comfortable. Just know that with or without it, we'll still love you and won't see you any differently than we do now." Yang turns her head back right as Blake smiles appreciatively, a hint of a blush dusting her cheeks.

"So, I stepped down, and Sienna Khan was appointed as my successor. It's true that I don't fully condone many of her methods. What I do condone is what Sienna fights for, the idea that Faunus and humans are, and should be, equal. Adam Taurus does not seem to have that goal in mind, what he has done benefits no one but himself."

"At this point, all Adam wants is revenge. He doesn't care what he has to do or who he has to go through, he just wants to make humankind pay and suffer," Blake says. That was clearly apparent when Adam killed Sienna Khan, to become leader of the White Fang to have more control over attacks on the humans. Adam is going as far as to aid the queen of Grimm, who he possibly knows is using him as a pawn to get what she wants.

"I think it's time that the Faunus show the world that we are equals! Time that we snuff out this splinter group and restore the White Fang to what it once was!" The audience erupts into cheers and begins to clap for him.

"Yeah!" Ruby shouts, pumping her fist in the air.

"We might be humans, but we want to help in any way we can!" Yang adds. Weiss nods, quietly agreeing.

"To do this, I think the answer is clear! We must go to Haven and protect it at all costs!" Upon Ghira yelling this, the cheers die down, seeming to not agree with this plan of action.

"What? You people were just cheering a second ago, what gives?" Nora yells.

Noticing the whispers and apprehension, Ghira clears his throat, "Before we proceed any further, I'd like to invite my daughter to come and share her story. Not only as a former member of the White Fang but also as a survivor at the Fall of Beacon." Blake walks and stands before him, not looking so sure, but Ghira tells his daughter that she can do this. Blake isn't able to do anything as Ilia yells from the crowd, calling them traitors as she reveals herself.

Yep, that gut feeling from earlier was correct. They just knew something was going to come along and try to disrupt the event. They don't feel upset or angry about Ilia yelling, they simply feel empathy. They wish at the moment they could do something, but being stuck inside the theatre and forced to watch doesn't give them much of the option to do anything.

"Ilia…" Blake murmurs, frowning.

Sun mutters her name as Ilia calls the rest of the Faunus cowards. "After everything the humans have done to us, everything they've put us through, you're asking us to help them!?" Ghira raises his hands, understanding that they haven't been treated fairly but were cut off. "Where was there help when the dust companies treated our people like slaves? Where was there help when kingdoms hunted Faunus just for being who they are?! Where was my help when my parents were killed in a dust mine?! Where?!"

"We aren't going to argue that Faunus were treated unfairly, we aren't going to argue that humans referred to Faunus as animals when they were just as much as a human as they all were, and we aren't going to argue that Faunus have suffered time and time again, simply for existing. But, there's one thing to argue is that two wrongs don't make a right. Treating each other violently isn't going to solve anything, it only ends in needless death and sorrow," Ruby defends, standing up from her seat.

"We feel ashamed that so much has happened to you, all of you," She quickly glances at Blake and Sun, "But we want to help in fixing humanity's wrongs. We want to be that first step to help change the world for the better and right all the mistakes that we have made!" Ruby doesn't say a word as she sits back down, but she can feel the appreciation coming from both Blake and Sun.

"Young lady, progress takes patience and cooperation," Ghira attempts to get her to understand.

"The Belladonnas are the worst kind of Faunus."

Blake felt like pins were stabbing into her upon hearing that.

"They want us to work with the same people who are trying to hold us down! If you truly, truly want to help your people," Ilia is unaware of Sun sneaking up behind her, "now is the time to support Adam, not the Belladonnas. He will bring about the future that you deserve and if you are unwilling to fight, know that the White Fang will do it for you!"

Sun was waiting for when he'd be about to strike. The others could sense how much it was hurting Blake to hear her friend say this. Despite her working with Adam, they don't see her as an enemy, they see her as someone who is misguided. Yang brings her partner into a side hug, wrapping her arm around Blake.

"Shut up!" Sun yells, pouncing, but Ilia escapes. One of the guards yells for someone to go after her and their footsteps echo.

Oscar looks at Team RNJR as they try to come to their own conclusions about why Ozpin's soul is in Oscar's body. Nora wonders if he aged backward, Jaune exclaims that he's possessed, but Ren hits the nail on the head when he thinks that Ozpin has been reincarnated.

"One of us would like to address that none of those sound plausible, but reincarnation seems like the most logical answer," Pyrrha states.

"Still hard to believe that magic is real," Weiss mumbles.

"Aren't you all the same group that thought magic couldn't be the case for any of this even after I explicitly gave you information about the Maidens and Relics? What do you mean you can't believe it's real, I gave you all the information earlier! When you witnessed Qrow turning into a literal bird you immediately discarded the idea of magic even after everything I gave you!" the room went quiet after Raider's explosion.

"Hey, in our defense we went through our whole lives without ever hearing a peep about this kind of thing. Excuse us that it's taking a bit to digest, after learning something as insane sounding as magic you can't blame us for being a bit apprehensive about the subject," Jaune retorts.

Ruby comments that it's all very weird. All four of them are up in his space and Oscar agrees.

Oscar lets out a small laugh, you're telling me. If you think this is hard for you, imagine what it's like for me, future-self.

Qrow grabs everyone's attention, needing them all to settle down and take a step back as it's all overwhelming for everyone. They all nervously chuckle and distance themselves. Oscar thanks him and Qrow takes a seat with the drink he has in his hand.

"Well, it's nice to see he's a bit more sober than when we saw him last," Yang comments.

Oscar awkwardly averts his gaze from Ruby when she smiles at him, "Ah, sorry, it's just that I never really met huntsmen and huntresses before."

"Well, we never met a person with two souls, so first times all around," Ruby shrugs. Oscar chuckles and Qrow clears his throat to direct them to him.

"Not to break up the whole 'getting to know you' game, but we need to have a talk, by showing us your little parlor trick, kid," Qrow suggests.

This got the rest of them intrigued, they were curious to see what it would look like when the two souls swapped with one another.

Oscar sighs, agreeing but tells the others that he'll still be there.

It's gonna feel weird when it happens for the first time, maybe. People always mention how they can be trapped in their own minds or stuck in their thoughts, but this would be the first time it happened in a literal sense.

Oscar closes his eyes and his body is still until a green light flashes and engulfs his being. Oscar, or Ozpin, opens his eyes and they're yellow instead of hazel. "It is so very good to see you again, students," Ozpin speaks, his own voice present and clear.

The students stared with wide eyes. "Woah! That's, um…"

"A little unnerving," Ren finishes. It wasn't the whole soul-switching thing that was getting to them, albeit it was odd. It was Ozpin's voice coming out of Oscar's body.

The students were confused and Ren said his name just to clarify. "Correct, and though I may be the one speaking, Oscar is still present mentally."

Never mind, it was still in Oscar's voice, which is still admittedly weird, but better than the former option. Professor Ozpin's voice coming through as an echo must have been an aspect of the soul-swapping. Same as the eyes as well, they turned yellow then back to Oscar's original eye color.

"He's merely handed over the controls, so to speak." Inside Oscar's head, he tells Professor Ozpin not to make them do anything embarrassing.

"This is a headmaster of an academy that has taken control of your body, what could he say that would be embarrassing," Yang jokes. Oscar covers his face with his hands.

"I'm afraid this all must be very perplexing–"

"And alarming, and bizarre, and just really kind of hard to believe overall," Nora buts in.

Ozpin chuckles, glad to see that the children still have their sense of humor. "I know you've all been through tremendous hardship already, I'm sorry."

"I mean, it's not your fault," Ruby attempts.

The kids don't see Raider making a face in the back. It kinda is though, just a bit.

"It's all my fault," Professor Ozpin says.

The children were confused. He didn't have anything to do with the actions that led up to the Fall of Beacon. What could have been his fault for that?

"I told you once that I made more mistakes than any man, woman, and child on this planet, and I wasn't exaggerating."

That all makes much more sense now. For any mortal being, that would be impossible, but for someone immortal and can reincarnate…that's a whole other story.

"I'm cursed, for thousands of years I've walked the surface of Remnant. Living, dying, and reincarnating in the body of a like-minded soul."

Oscar placed a hand on his chest, thinking over Professor Ozpin's words. He can only reincarnate with someone with a like-minded soul.

"The Professor Ozpin you all met was not my first form and clearly wasn't my last. It's an extraordinarily strenuous process on everyone involved."

"So, who…what are you?" Jaune questions.

"That is another good question because, with the reincarnation ordeal, it's like he's mortal but immortal," Yang wonders.

"I am the combination of countless men that spent their lives trying to protect the people of Remnant. With every rebirth my soul is eventually merged with another, and I am changed, but my memories stay with me."

They were aware of that bit with how much Professor Ozpin was able to share with Oscar before he went on his journey to travel to Haven Academy. He also remembered Hazel, who was a foe in one of his previous lives. That brings another thing, if Professor Ozpin has lived for thousands of years then Ozpin mustn't also be his real name.

Ozpin looks down at the drink that Qrow had given him, telling the students that his curse was bestowed upon him by the Gods.

"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, you're telling us Professor Ozpin has meant the Two Brothers? That's unbelievable!" Nora screams.

Unbelievable was right. How did it all go? Well, horrible if Professor Ozpin was cursed by them. Hold on…

"Why was Professor Ozpin cursed by the Gods in the first place, what did he do?" Yang asks. That might as well have been rhetorical because her friends didn't have an answer and she suspected that Raider wouldn't tell them that as she's guessing they'll find that out later and she doesn't want to risk any spoilers.

"Because I failed to stop Salem in the past."

The students knew that was just a vague version of it. They would get the full story somehow, maybe by the Relic of Knowledge, who knows?

"But we must stop her now." Ruby proposes the question of how they would be able to do that. "We start, by ensuring the safety of the Relic of Knowledge."

"Unfortunately, that thing is in terrible hands, thanks to Professor Lionheart's betrayal," Yang murmurs, rolling her eyes alongside it.

Weiss gasps, waking up to find her wrists tied, and locked up in a cage.

Ruby growls, if they even think about doing anything to her Weiss! Wait, wha-? 'Her'?

One of the guards notices she's awake and begins to laugh, "Well, well, well, look who's awake," The guard slaps his friend, getting him to stop drinking. Weiss looks around, asking about where she is.

Vernal reveals herself, saying she'd never thought she'd see a Schnee in her camp. Both the guards stand at attention as Vernal eyes Weiss, caressing Myrtenaster. Weiss stands and asks what Vernal wants. "Straight to the point, I like it. We don't normally deal in trafficking people, not really worth our time, but once we realized we had a Schnee, that changed."

Yang swears if her mom's goons do anything to hurt her friend she would personally travel to her mother's camp and their asses herself. It might be a losing battle, but she wasn't going to let anything slide when it came to her friends' safety.

It seemed like Ruby held a permanent frown, glaring at the screen with all she had. Weiss seemed to have taken notice and got bold when she placed a hand on her shoulder, reassuring her that she was fine and okay.

"You're going to ransom me back to my father, is that it?"

"It's a shame you're a Schnee, you'd probably do quite well around here," Vernal retorts.

Weiss would never think of joining them, with or without her family name.

"I would never sink to your level." Vernal wasn't a fan of that answer and told her to keep quiet and she'd be back in her mansion before she knew it.

It was a lose-lose situation for her either way. After all that hard work of escaping, she'd be transported right back to where she started.

Vernal turns her back to her but tells her not to make things complicated. "What's going to make things complicated is when my sister finds out that I didn't make it to Mistral. You know my sister, don't you? Winter Schnee? Special Operative of the Atlas Military, she's in Mistral now and when she hears I'm missing, it won't take her long to find me, and you."

Weiss felt a sense of ease and a bit of smugness. She knew her sister would rest at nothing to make sure she was safe.

Upon hearing the guards start to laugh. Weiss asks what they're laughing about and Vernal clarifies, "Oh, I don't know if it's more funny or sad, but you're clearly out of the loop. Your sister isn't in Mistral anymore, no Atlas personnel are in Mistral anymore."

Weiss feels her heart drop. So she's trapped in Brawen's camp with little to no way of getting out until they patch to her father where she is. Weiss figures she'll have to play the long con then, or better yet, Yang coming to her rescue. If Yang was on her to Raven as she spoke, and ran into that follower of hers, then he would be leading her right to Raven! The only problem, she doesn't have a clue how long that will take.

"General Ironwood closed all the borders and recalled all his little troops and tin cans. No one is coming to rescue you," Vernal finishes. She walks off and the two guards continue their laughing while Weiss looks down hopelessly.

"Yeah, that's what you think! But Weiss is going to have me!" Yang yells.

"This is perfect!" Nora shouts, "We were stuck at a dead end, but now we can just take cute little boy Ozpin to Lionheart and have him set things straight!"

"I don't think Professor Ozpin would appreciate that name all too much," Pyrrha chuckled.

"Well, if he's officially going to be joining our party then he'll need to learn to get used to it," Nora fights.

Ozpin asks for Nora to never call him that.

Laughter went around the room as Ozpin said that with such a deadpan voice. What made it funnier was it was coming from Oscar's body.

"Too late!" Nora adds.

Qrow and Ozpin agreed that that might not be the best idea. Nora grumbles, angrily sitting next to Ruby. Ren thought that all the headmasters took orders from Ozpin. "That was the intention, four lieutenants I can trust, especially during times of reincarnation, but Qrow told me about your meeting Leonardo." Ozpin gets up from his seat but doesn't stop, "He isn't behaving irrationally, he's disobeying specific instructions I had left him. Something's wrong, I don't want to jump to conclusions, but I don't want to rule out any possibilities either."

Right now with Professor Lionheart working with Salem, it's more wise to be on guard and hesitant with the information that is shared with him. Even if they didn't know that he was working with Salem, his reactions and the way he handled the conversation when they were all there left them all on edge, like they wouldn't be able to fully trust him.

"No one outside this room knows that I've paired with Oscar and I think it may be best to keep it that way."

"Play things close to the chest until we get a better hand," Qrow explains.

"Precisely," Ozpin concurs, "Now we have two steps ahead of us, the first is enlisting the aid of more huntsmen."

"Well, if Blake is somehow able to convince Menagerie to help then I think we'll be able to rule that step out real quick," Yang says.

"That's an 'if' possibility. I believe it would take a lot more than a single speech to get Faunus to help humans. I don't blame any of them for being cautious," Blake joins.

"Well, no one would. That would be asking a lot of all the Faunus on the island. To leave their home and risk their lives for a race that hasn't shown them anything but malice," Ruby includes.

Ren tries to tell Ozpin that the Mistral Council won't help, but Qrow cuts him off, that Mistral doesn't own every huntsman in the kingdom. Qrow has been around these parts enough times to know where they could find some more. "As they're trustworthy," Ozpin iterates. Qrow hums, telling Ozpin that he can trust them to put up a good fight and that he'll compile a list of them. Qrow places his feet on the coffee table but instead ends up breaking it.

"Good luck with that," Nora chips in.

Ruby groaned, holding a hand to her forehead as some others laughed.

"After that, we can move on to step 2." Nora asks what step 2 was. "Getting you four into fighting shape."

Ruby is confused as they already know how to fight.

"With a threat this huge approaching, we're going to need all the training we can get," Sun laughs. This makes them all determined to work harder when they all get back.

Ozpin points his staff in Ruby's face, "You can only fight so long you have Crescent Rose, but you're still lacking in hand-to-hand combat."

Ruby scoffs, "I think we already established that last episode, thank you."

Ruby doesn't deny it and Ozpin then gestures to Jaune, "Mr. Arc, I'm glad to hear that you've improved but sorry to say you've yet to unlock your semblance." Jaune looks away, not wanting to be reminded.

Jaune sighs, he isn't going to lose hope because he knows he's bound to see it be unlocked at some point, but it's getting close to almost two and a half volumes and nothing has happened. Not even a small hint of what it could be. Pyrrha rubbed his back comfortingly, "It will unlock, it just might take a bit more time."

"All of you still have a ways to go before you're ready to pose any real threat against Salem and her forces. And though Oscar can give me temporary control, he'll need to strengthen his body and his aura." This causes Oscar to become confused.

Oscar already expected this. If he planned on helping his friends then he needed to start training like them. He has very little experience when it comes to fighting and that needs to change if he's going to travel and be a part of the group.

"He'll inherit my muscle memory in time but practice will expedite the process."

"But if Qrow's out looking for huntsmen then who's going to teach us?" Ruby asks. Ozpin slams his cane on the ground and propels himself in the air before landing on a chair, opposite of them.

"Woah, we're gonna be trained by the headmaster himself?" Jaune asked.

"Heck yeah, with him training we're gonna be ready in no time!" Nora yells.

"Just because he's going to be teaching us doesn't mean it's going to be a swift process," Ren says. Nora crosses her arms, mumbling something along the lines of not with his attitude.

"Well, I believe I was the headmaster of Beacon Academy." Everyone's reactions were different. Both Ren and Jaune are surprised, Ruby looks excited, and Nora is unimpressed. "We have approximately one month before classes resume at Haven. If Salem were to plan an attack, it would make sense that it'd occur prior to students' return. It's not much time, but it's better than nothing."

A month didn't seem like much time at all for what they were going to be up against, but Ozpin is right, any time of training is going in unprepared.

"Just don't expect me to go easy on." Those were Ozpin's parting words as their souls switched back. Oscar lost his balance and fell backward on the chair, everyone looked over the chair as Oscar murmured to himself.

Oscar sighed, so much for not wanting to embarrass myself.

At the Branwen Camp, all the other guards are asleep and Weiss uses the chance to create a miniature Arma Gigas. It stands at the read and Weiss smiles down at it. She looks over to the sword it's carrying and nods.

The screen goes black and some kids take the time to stretch. "Speaking of training, we're gonna need to start doing that in our free time. We can't all be going back all lazy after sitting here the past couple of…days?" Yang comments. She looks over at Raider to know if she was correct in the timeframe. The entity just shrugged.

"Like I told you, time doesn't exist here, but if you want an estimate, yeah, it's been a few days." Well, it's nice to know they haven't been there that long. If they made it to 5 Volumes, in what Raider tells them is a couple of days, then they would be spending a week in the theatre, at most. It would just be like some holiday break. They knew she would if they asked Raider to make them a space to train.

"Now, this will be the second to last short until it gets closer to the end of the volume. Seeing as what I thought would have been a spoiler, already happened, I guess there wouldn't be much need to not show it to you. But, I'm gonna save it for later anyway. This short will be focusing on Weiss."

The group nodded, grabbed a couple of snacks, and sat back down in their seats. Weiss was curious as to what they would be shown.

Blue flowers, which held the appearance of frozen, swayed in the wind. Weiss stood in one of the Schnee courtyards, staring up at a fountain before looking behind her shoulder.

Weiss recognized what they would be watching and felt her cheeks bloom red. All that could go through her mind was her yelling out for her sister. Ruby looked to be viewing the screen in awe, her eyes glazed over as it felt like an ethereal beauty was peering into her soul. She couldn't come up with a reason why when Weiss veered over her shoulder, it was as if an angel was fixed upon her.

For the life of her, Ruby couldn't seem to look away, like Weiss had cast some kind of spell on her. And the truth was, she didn't want it to go away. Whilst Ruby was in her own world, the rest of her friends were confused as to what was going on.

Weiss held Myrtenaster at the ready as a blizzard dome formed around her. Forming were four beowulves, one even licked its jaws as it lunged. Weiss swiftly killed it, stabbing it through its mouth.

The group quickly narrowed this down to a training session, but another came to mind: why did Weiss look so embarrassed?

It dissolved and Weiss quickly went after the others, using her glyphs to give her moment. Propelling herself into the air, she lands on the edge of the fountain, releasing a wave of fire. It destroys the rest of the Grimm and melts the ice that surrounds her.

Weiss's friends began to cheer and she could feel her cheeks going red again. It was just a training session, it wasn't like it was an actual match against someone.

Weiss grinned but soon gasped as more beowulves formed. She took a deep breath and then created a gravity glyph to give her more momentum. One after another the Grimm were rapidly disposed of.

Ruby had this type of expression on her face that her sister caught wind of. Her jaw was slightly hanging up and she was looking at the screen in pure amazement. Yang smirked, thinking this would be a fun opportunity. "Hey, Ruby, Weiss is doing really good, don't you think?" Yang snorted when she didn't receive an answer.

Weiss watched the interaction, addled as to where the question had even come from. She looked over at her partner who hadn't said a word this entire time. She didn't even join in with the others when they were encouraging her. Weiss's face began to heat up when she saw the wonder in her partner's eyes.

"Ruby?" Weiss's voice seemed to have snapped Ruby out of her trance and she whipped her head around to her friend.

"Hm, um, yes?" Ruby's voice came out in a squeak.

"Are you okay?"

"Me? Psh, of course I am, why wouldn't I be? What makes you say that? Everything's totally normal!" Ruby could hear some of her friends trying their hardest not to laugh and she would really like to turn around and chew them out for it.

Weiss looked bewildered and slowly nodded. Ruby turned her attention back to the screen and nervously gestured to it.

"Oh, wow, you're doing really good! You're fighting has gotten a lot better, hehe!" Ruby blurts out. Once again, Weiss nods with a weird look on her face.

Weiss tosses Mytenaster who impales a beowulf. Grabbing it, she stabs it into the ground, fabricating shards of ice that pierce the Grimm all around her. She lets out a breath but her weapon is then knocked out of her hand, in that same moment a beowulf jumps onto her and she struggles to hold it back.

"Weiss!" All of them yell. The girl in question puts her head in her hands, shaking it, not wanting to watch.

Weiss's eyes widen in horror as all the other beowulves begin to pile on top of her. "Winter!" Weiss shouts and the Grimm starts to dissipate. Myrtenaster is thrown in front of her and Weiss looks up at her sister.

Her friends were relieved and they all collectively let out a breath. They knew it was just training with summoning but that spike of fear when they all jumped on her without Myrtenaster terrified all of them.

Winter sighed, telling her sister that she won't always be around to save her. "I'm sorry, I'll get better," Weiss replies.

"You'll have to if you ever want to leave." Winter walks off and Weiss looks down at the ground sadly. She is then startled awake and turns to look out the window. She takes a breath and when she lets it out, everything goes black.

Weiss's motivation was and is to be free. She wants to escape her household and be able to create her own path, to try and fix things by doing it her way. "Hey, Weiss, are you okay?" Ruby asks.

Weiss smiles, "I am now."
