I woke up in the infirmary the next morning, there EJ had tended to my wounds from last night and Jane was there to visit. I laid in bed staring at the ceiling for a while gathering my mind, then I sat up.

"Ah you're, you're finally awake." Said EJ

Jane darts her eyes to me when she hears EJ say this.

"How are you feeling?" EJ questioned

"I'm okay." I answered

"I tended to your injuries last night. It's not anything serious, just bruising and a few scratches. I recommend you ice your neck frequently and change the bandages once a week." EJ said

"When will it completely heal?" I ask

"About 3 weeks." EJ answered

"Okay" I said in response

I sunk back into my hospital bed looking around the room. The infirmary was nothing special, it was a white sterol professional looking room, It's like the ones you see in normal hospitals. Jane got up and walked over to me.

"I'm sorry for what happened to you at the calling. I never meant for you to get hurt…" Jane lamented

"It's alright Jane, I forgive you. Please don't beat yourself up about it." I say, trying to make her feel better.

"You mean it?" Jane asks

"Of course I do." I say with a soft smile on my face

We hug in forgiveness. Jane waved goodbye to me and thanked EJ, then she went for the door. But before she could leave Jeff knocked into her, shoving Jane out the way to get in the infirmary.

"What the hell- watch it asshole!" Jane cursed, attempting to push him back.

Jeff ignored her comment and went on but EJ blocked his path.

"Stop it Jeff. You can't come in here." Said EJ

"Like hell I can! Now move the fuck out my way!" Jeff barked, Pushing and hitting EJ to get him out of his way.

"Jeff we've been through this-" EJ started but Jeff slammed his elbow into EJ's lung, cutting him off.

Jeff then ran over to me. Jane hadn't left yet, still standing in the doorway. Through his anger Jeff looked worried, his eyes darted to the bandages on my neck. His eyes widened at the sight, he took my hands and held it in his trying to comfort me.

"You okay?" Jeff whispered

"Yeah, I'm fine." I whispered back

Jeff glanced over to EJ for a quick moment then back to me "I'm gonna get you outta here." Jeff quietly said to me, I nodded in response.

"Dollie said she's fine. She can leave with me." Said Jeff

EJ hummed, accepting Jeff's request. Jeff helped me out of the bed and we walked out of the infirmary.

"What happened to you?" Jeff asked

"We did a soul calling and it got out of control, that's all." I respond

"When you said you were going out so you could "hex the preps" I didn't think you were crazy enough to actually do it" Jeff scoffed

"Did Jane tell you to do it?" Jeff asked

"She didn't tell me, she invited me, it was my choice." I say

"Same thing. She's always doing some spooky shit and it always ends up going south." Jeff said in a degrading tone

"But it-" I started but Jeff cuts me off

"It is her fault, isn't witching her whole thing? She knew what she was doing and she let you get hurt. Don't make excuses for her." Jeff snapped

"…Fine." I agree unwittingly

"What's under those bandages?" Jeff stopped walking and turned to me to unravel my bandages a little to take a peek.

Jeff was being gentle but I still winced at the pain. He saw the bruises from Miserabelle choking me and the bloody scratches from her nails. He caresses my neck and then hugs me, his left hand holding my head and his right holding my waist. I hugged him as well and we stood there for a while embracing each other.

"I love you Jeff~" I cooed

Jeff kisses my forehead then takes my hand

"I love ya too doll. Cmon, let's go." Jeff affirmed

Me and Jeff hung out for a while after that. We took a leisurely walk in the woods and listened to music together. I later went to my room to change, that's where I am now.

I'm still wearing the same clothes as yesterday so I decided to take a nice hot bubble bath to relax. I start to prepare the bath, running hot water and pouring in lavender vanilla scented soap near the foset so bubbles can form. Meanwhile I make myself a caramel iced latte with my espresso machine. I take out a fancy glass with pink faded at the bottom for my lattle, I drizzle caramel sauce along the sides of the cup. Once the espresso is done pumping I pour it in the glass followed by oat milk, vanilla creamer, and more caramel. For the finished touches I add whipped cream, powdered sugar, and a caramel drizzle. I even added a strawberry on top because I need to balance it out somehow.

I bring my latte to the bathroom and my bubble bath is ready. I placed my drink on the small table next to the bath and started to undress. Now naked, tied up my blonde locks into a messy bun but leaving my side bang down and jumped into the bath. I slowly sank myself into the water and I let out a sigh of pleasure. I played Pierce The Veil, Flyleaf, and Get Scared on my cd player radio while I relaxed in my bath. My latte was very tasty and it definitely out-did Starbucks. After 30 minutes had gone by I got out of the bath and dried myself off. I trapped the towel around my body and walked to my bedroom.

I started to think about what I should wear. I examined my walk in closet and picked out some clothes to wear. When I was done I turned around to lay everything on my bed but just when I was about to do that I noticed my cat Yuna was laying there. Yuna is a female tuxedo cat (she looks like that Japanese cat named Uni if you want an irl comparison.) and I adopted her as an emotional support animal when I first became a proxy. Yuna was grooming herself, every time her head moved to lick herself the bell on her purple collar would jingle. I got distracted by her cuteness and went to pet her. Yuna meowed and purred as I played with her, the pupils in her baby blue eyes were dilated with joy. But sadly playtime didn't last long because I needed to get dressed.

I did so and I put on clothes. I wore a tight knit turtleneck to hide the bandages on my neck. I paired it with a gothic Victorian style bustle skirt with lace, ruffles, and a big bow at the back. It was high waisted and showed my legs, but it was short and ended near my mid thighs. Under that I wore rose embroidered stockings and the same platform heels as yesterday, and of course everything was black. I put on black diamond stud earrings and I kept my hair in a messy bun and added my signature pink bow, the only thing I wore in color.

I sat down at my vanity and began doing my makeup. I started with my foundation, pink blush, and powder as I always do. I did a black smokey eye with foxy eyeliner, and followed it up with hot pink eyeshadow and a touch of glitter. I slid hot pink lipstick and shimmer lipgloss on my lips. Okay…I'm done now, I got up and started to walk out the door but then I forgot something- PERFUME! I did a quick spritz of Miss Dior Eau De Parfum and..OKAY now I'm seriously ready to leave.

I walked out my room and started walking down the hall, then I heard the speakers turn on for an announcement.

"A group conference will take place in the grand hall. Slenderman will be present to discuss an urgent matter. Conference starts at 10:30AM, everyone must attend." Said the familiar voice on the speaker. The announcer was Masky, aka Tim.

"A conference with slender? Discussing an urgent matter?" I thought to myself

"Shit…this better have nothing to do with the soul calling." I scowl in my mind

I observe the grand clock down the hall and note the time, 10:11AM.

"They sure scheduled this one close…" I mumble under my breath

I decided to head towards the grand hall and hang around there until the meeting started. I walked to the end of the hall, passing the grand clock and going down the stairs. A few flights later and I made it to the first floor. The trip made me regret wearing heels and started to make me consider pitching the idea of installing elevators at the conference, But alas I continued on. On my way me and Nina crossed paths, she was headed towards the grand hall too.

"Hey Dollie!" Nina greeted

"Hey Nina!" I greet back

"You headed to the conference?" Asked Nina

"Yeah I am. What do you think Slender's gonna say?" I questioned

"I dunno…You're not thinking what I'm thinking right?…" Nina said nervously

"I'm 100% am." I confirm

Nina gets closer to me "Do you think Jane is on the same page as us?" Nina asks

"Probably" I guessed

"Don't be nervous, everything is going to be okay." I reaffirmed

"Alright…" Nina sighed

We arrived at the grand hall and we saw that everyone else was there too. (The attendees were Jane, Jeff, Ben, EJ, Sally, Toby, Masky, Hoodie, LJ, Clockwork, and Zero.) Slender began his speech.

"I have you all gathered here today because of a incident that happened last night" Slender started

"A soul calling was performed incorrectly and led to a vengeful spirit being released. I have heard reports that some of you have been seeing her and that her presence has haunted our manor."

"I will not reveal who is responsible for this incident, just know that they will be dealt with sufficiently. Now it is the job of the necromancers and the rest of you to ensure that this spirit, Miserabelle, is sealed away so she does no further harm."

"This is an urgent matter because if she leaves the premises of the manor Zalgo could find her and claim her soul, giving him much power."

"I leave it to all of you to solve this problem, if you don't the consequences will be dire. That concludes this conference, everyone may leave." Slender concluded

Everyone was chatting among each other as they walked out the grand hall. A wave of worry rushed over me, I felt extremely guilty and like I just got put on the spot. The "hypothetical" spot because he never said any name, but I knew he knew I was a part of it, and that sent shivers down my spine. When I exited the grand hall I immediately started to look for Nina and Jane, but they were nowhere to be found. It was so strange…they were RIGHT here a second ago, I felt myself getting mad, I felt like they just ditched me. I huffed and stomped my way to the library in the manor so I could attempt to figure out how to seal Miserabelle away.

I made it to the back exit of the manor and walked on the stone pavement and followed the path that led to the library. When I entered my lungs were filled with the overwhelming smell of old books. I tried not to gag at the smell but the dust from the books irritated my nose and made me sneeze anyway. I examined the books on the shelf trying to find a Witchcraft or Magic section. The library was huge, filled with books that were centuries old. Other than the manor it's the library is the oldest building on the land. It looks the part too, at least the manor looks refurbished and polished but the library looks like it hasn't been touched since the 1600s. To be honest it qualifies more to be a historical museum than a functional library.

Soon I found what I was looking for, witchcraft books. I picked up a few books I thought would be helpful and sat down at a table. I sat down and started reading the first book from my stack. The more I read the more I thought I knew, until something else like a new rule or system was added, and then I knew nothing. Two steps forward three steps back type deal. I sat there, shoulders slumped and head in hand trying to make sense of any of this. When Jane did her Wicca stuff she made it look SO easy, but it's actually SO hard. Two hours had passed and I learned little, eventually I just said "fuck it" and left.

I was stressed out trying to find a solution to this Miserable problem, but witching isn't my expertises and I was at a loss.
