6 Incredible Heroes Divided By 3
Note: In this chapter I'll introduce a new villain that I made up myself. I'll also have some good humor and fight scenes in this one. There will be some important revelations in this chapter as well. This one will also be longer than the first two. Enjoy.
Cold Blooded
It was a bright and sunny Friday morning at the Parr house as the Parrs were sitting at the dining room table eating breakfast. Violet and Dash were already ready for school while Jack-Jack was happily eating his oatmeal in his highchair next to Helen. She had already finished her breakfast while Bob had a cup of coffee while he was reading the morning newspaper. Bob was content until he noticed a column in the paper that made his eyes widen with a wary expression as he saw two pictures of Larry and Jordan Baxter.
He stared at the page as he read the column out loud, "Former head of Baxcorp and his son, guilty of conspiring to destroy superheroes, have escaped from prison."
Violet and Dash's eyes widened when he finished talking and they fearfully looked at him as Violet said, "Larry's out?!"
Bob showed a troubled expression as he said, "Apparently. He and his father have somehow escaped from jail."
Helen looked at Bob with a serious expression as she said, "Bob, this could be serious. Jordan Baxter is a brilliant scientist and inventor, and he's an evil megalomaniac. That's a dangerous combination."
Violet was extremely worried as she said, "Yeah and Larry's even worse! He's not as smart but he's crazier and obsessed!"
Dash pointed at Violet with a troubled expression while he commented, "Yeah, and he used to have a crush on you."
Violet stared forward with an annoyed expression as she said, "Don't remind me."
Bob held his right hand up as he calmly said, "Calm down Violet."
Violet looked at him in terror as she frantically said, "Calm down?! Calm down?! Larry and his dad are out of prison! They'll probably want revenge against the people who put them in there: us!"
Bob still held his right hand up as he calmly said, "I know, I know. Relax. Your mom and I have been in situations like this before. The first thing to do is not panic."
Helen nodded as she assured, "Your father's right. We've had enemies of ours come after us for revenge."
Dash curiously asked, "Did any of them know your secret identities?"
Bob glanced around nervously before he reluctantly answered, "Syndrome did."
Violet stared at him as she stood up and frantically exclaimed, "Yeah and look how that ended! And let's not forget about his brother Sickness! Larry and his dad might be planning their revenge right now!"
Suddenly they jumped when they heard a horn honk outside and Helen stretched her neck out toward the door to see the school bus in front of their house waiting for the kids.
She returned her neck to its normal shape as she looked at the kids and said, "We'll talk more about this later. Right now you two need to go to school. Try to relax, let your father and I worry about this."
Violet was still concerned but did not argue as she grabbed her backpack, then she and Dash hurried to the school bus. Helen grabbed Jack-Jack as she and Bob went outside and waved "goodbye" to them, which did calm Violet a bit as she smiled and waved at them.
When the bus was gone, Helen looked up at Bob with a concerned expression as she said, "She's right Bob. Jordan and Larry know who we are. Our family could be in danger."
Bob smiled confidently as he reminded her, "Well then it's a good thing we're heading out of town tomorrow."
Helen's eyes widened as she remembered and then smiled coyly as she reminded him, "For one night."
Bob smiled as he held his left palm up before moving his left arm out while he said, "So we'll tell Stan. I'm sure he can help us prepare for an attack. Besides we should tell Big Hero 6 anyway."
Jack-Jack made happy baby noises in response, then Helen smiled as she surrendered, "Okay. Hiro and his friends did help put away the Baxters, so we should warn them that they might be in danger too."
Meanwhile in San Fransokyo
Hiro was having breakfast with his friends in the Lucky Cat Café while Baymax stood behind them and watched them. They had already finished their food while they were talking about plans for their upcoming midterm projects.
Cass came over with a big friendly smile as she said, "Hey kids, what's going on?"
Honey Lemon smiled at her as she said, "Oh we're just talking about our plans for our midterm projects."
Hiro smiled at his aunt as he moved his finger to point at each of his friends while he said, "Yeah. Heather, Ethel, and Marcus already have some cool ideas."
Cass smiled down at Hiro as she eagerly said, "Oh so you've decided what to do for your project too?"
Hiro smiled sheepishly and stuttered before he reluctantly said, "No…"
Cass sternly glared at him as she said, "Hiro."
Hiro leaned on the table as he defensively said, "I've been busy lately, and I've still got three more weeks to work."
She put her hands on her hips as she asked, "Busy with what? Violet?"
Hiro promptly nodded with a nervous smile as he said, "Yeah her! Talking to her is fun and takes up a lot of time. She's incredible!"
The others chuckled as they knew there was no pun intended, and Cass sternly said, "I know you two love each other, but you can't let your relationship interfere with school. You need to focus and not get distracted."
Fred suddenly stood up and pointed at the TV hanging from the ceiling as he exclaimed, "Whoa! Check it out!"
They all looked at the TV as it showed Bluff Dunder in his studio with a live video next to him while he said, "Breaking news, some kind of mutant dinosaur is rampaging through city and is now attacking the San Fransokyo Trust."
Hiro and his friends immediately got up while Cass watched them as Hiro frantically said, "Whoa look at the time! We'd better get to school! By Aunt Cass! Love you!"
They immediately hurried out while she watched them with confusion before she started clearing their table. Sometime later, Big Hero 6 was flying over the city, having already changed into their armor, and were heading to the San Fransokyo Trust Bank, the city's gold reserve. Baymax landed in front of the building and they all hopped off of him and stared at the entrance to find the doors had been ripped off. The building had already been cleared out but they could see damage done to the building as they saw rubble and debris inside.
Wasabi was afraid as he asked, "What happened here?"
Hiro looked up at Baymax as he said, "Baymax?"
Baymax scanned and then replied, "I detect one man inside."
Honey Lemon was worried as she said, "He could be in trouble! We'd better help him!"
They all immediately went inside and Fred started scatting before he sang, "Big Hero 6! Fighting a monster! Saving some guy!"
He kept scatting for a moment before Go Go annoyedly said, "Fred shut up!"
He complied and they looked around in awe as they saw the damage done to the building, they saw many gashes and claw marks in some metal objects. They saw some scratches on the walls and other broken things, and they also spotted a few footprints that did not look human. Many of the lights on the ceiling were also broken, giving the room a dark and spooky feeling as they slowly proceeded through the gold reserve.
As they continued Wasabi fearfully looked at some more claw marks and gashes as he asked, "What the heck did this?"
Hiro lead the way and then pointed ahead while he cautiously said, "I don't know, but look."
They came to the vault, which had been pried open by something strong as the door leaned against a nearby wall, off the hinges. There were also more claw marks and gashes on the wall around the vault, so the team cautiously entered to find gold everywhere with a man standing in the middle of the vault.
He was facing away from them when they stopped and Hiro said, "It's okay sir. We're here to help. Everything's fine."
The man turned around to show his face, he had a narrow face with white skin and short blonde hair, and a small chin. He was skinny yet his arms and legs were somewhat muscular as he was in good shape and excellent health. He was dressed strangely as he wore a black and green costume with no shoes or sleeves, but his pants went down to his ankles. His suit was mostly black but his sides were green, as were his calves and the bottoms of his forearms, and he had the green letters IG on his chest.
He smiled deviously at them as he said, "Ah, Big Hero 6. I was waiting for you to show up."
Honey Lemon showed concern as looked at him before glancing around while she said, "Are you okay? What happened here?"
The man glanced around with an evil grin as he snidely said, "I wanted to make a withdraw but the service was too slow."
Go Go glared at him before pointing her finger as she said, "Wait! You did all of this?!"
He smiled maniacally as he said, "Guilty as charged."
They were all shocked while Hiro speechlessly asked, "How?! Who are you?!"
The man smiled evilly as he said, "Call me Insti-Gator!"
Fred did not understand as he cluelessly said, "I don't get it."
Insti-Gator smiled evilly as he started growling and then his body changed right before their eyes as they stared at him with their mouths agape. The man grew bigger and taller than Baymax with huge muscles and broad shoulders as he transformed into a mutant humanoid alligator. A long alligator tail came out of the back of his pants and he sprouted a snout like an alligator's while his hair receded and he had razor sharp teeth and his tongue was on the roof of his mouth. His skin turned a very dark shade of green and became scaly and leathery with osteoderms on his back. He also grew short but sharp claws from his fingertips and his toes; his feet were humanoid but his toes were longer and bigger. He also had some small webbing between his proximal phalanx on both his hands and feet, and he had eyes like a crocodilian's.
When he finished transforming Baymax said, "Oh no."
Insti-Gator roared ferociously and Wasabi fearfully shouted, "Yeah I get it now!"
Fred spoke excitedly before expression confusion while he said, "That's so cool! But I still don't get it."
Insti-Gator smiled evilly as he spoke with a deeper voice and said, "Well maybe you'll get this!"
He spun around and swung his tail at them, the others dodged it but his tail hit Fred and knocked him into the wall. Insti-Gator roared viciously before he jumped at the others and they scattered while Hiro got on Baymax's back as he took flight. Insti-Gator tried to smash the others as they dodged him and Go Go through her discs at him, but he knocked them away before he tried to bite her, only for her to skate away from him. Honey Lemon through a purple chem-ball at Insti-Gator's arm as it popped and formed a purple solid that covered his arm. But he smashed it against the floor before he jabbed his claws at her, only for Wasabi to jump in front of her and block the claws wit his right plasma shield. Insti-Gator's claws could not breach his shield and Wasabi smiled before he spun around and swung hist ail and knocked them aside. Fred jumped at Insti-Gator and kicked him in the chest, successfully knocking him down to the floor with a small cry of pain.
Fred happily said, "Ha! See you later alligator!"
Insti-Gator got back up and growled threateningly and Fred became worried inside his suit as he said, "Okay, maybe not later."
Insti-Gator angrily slashed his claws at Fred but he dodged them and then punched the mutant alligator in the face twice, making him stumble back. Then Insti-Gator grabbed him and slammed him to the ground before he prepared to punch him with his left fist. Fred breathed fire on him which got Insti-Gator off of him as he walked back and cringed while shielding his face. He then spun around and used his tail to knock Fred away and smiled evilly before Baymax flew at him and punched him, knocking him into the wall behind him.
Hiro glared at Insti-Gator, who smiled evilly as he stood up and said, "Your eyes are bigger than your stomach."
Baymax misunderstood as he simply said, "I do not have a stomach. I am a robot."
Insti-Gator ignored him as he roared and jumped at them while Hiro yelled, "Roundhouse!"
Baymax performed a roundhouse kick that knocked Instigator aside, but he got up and stood on all fours before he roared. He ran on all fours like an animal before jumping and knocking Hiro off of Baymax, then he landed on his feet. Hiro almost hit the floor before he used the thrusters in his boots and gloves to hover in the air, then Insti-Gator tried to bite him. Hiro cried in distress as he flew back to avoid his jaws and ended up backing up against a wall, trapped. Insti-Gator tried to bite him again but could not reach him as he turned around to see Baymax holding him back as he held his tai. Insti-Gator pulled his tail free and then grabbed Baymax and threw him through a wall, prompting Hiro to land and run to his aid.
Insti-Gator smiled triumphantly as he glanced around and gloated, "It seems six wasn't enough to beat me."
He then grabbed a bunch of gold bars and ran off with them, just before Big Hero 6 regrouped and watched him.
Hiro pointed in the direction he ran as he yelled, "We can't let him get away."
He got on Baymax's back as they flew while Go Go skated and the others all ran on foot and chased Insti-Gator as he ran through the city with the stolen gold. As they chased him through the city they passed the hotel where Lucius and his wife were staying for their vacation. Lucius smiled happily as he leaned on the railing of his balcony and looked out at the city, but was shocked when he saw Big Hero 6 chasing Insti-Gator. He immediately ran to his suitcase and opened it as he frantically looked through his clothes but couldn't find his super suit.
He then impatiently turned his head and yelled, "Honey! Where did you put my super suit?!"
She sounded irritated as she shouted, "I put it somewhere else!"
He looked in her direction as he yelled, "Well give it to me!"
He glanced out the window to watch the chase before he started looking himself while Honey yelled, "No way! You're not bailing out on me right now! We're on vacation!"
Lucius looked under the bed before he frantically yelled, "Marcus needs help!"
She then angrily yelled, "My husband needs help because his wife is losing her patience!"
He then looked in her direction as he angrily demanded, "You give me my suit back woman! We must put the needs of others before our own!"
He was searching but looked in her direction in annoyance while she furiously yelled, "Before our own?! I am your wife! My needs always become before YOUR own!"
Meanwhile, Big Hero 6 was still chasing Insti-Gator as he ran with the gold he took before Baymax launched his left rocket fist at his back. He knocked him down and made him drop the gold before Big Hero 6 surrounded him and he glared at all of them.
He bared his claws as he said, "You kids are getting on my nerves!"
Honey Lemon pushed a button on her purse to activate the machine-gun mode as she said, "I guess you're swamped!"
She typed certain chemicals and then rapidly fired three chem-balls at Insti-Gator and they all blew up against him and knocked him down. He got up and roared viciously as he ran at her only for Fred to jump at him and kick him with both legs, knocking him down again. Insti-Gator stood on all fours as he roared ferociously before Go Go skated at him and hit him with the disc on the back of her right fist, knocking him down. Insti-Gator growled viciously as he got up and ripped a lamp post out of the ground and swung it at them. Honey Lemon and Go Go dodged it as he roared and swung it at them, but then the front half of it was cut off by Wasabi's plasma blade. He stared at the cut lamp post before glaring at Wasabi, then he ripped the door off a parked car and threw it at him. Hiro held out his hands and used the magnets in his gloves to repel the car door, and made it miss Wasabi. Then Baymax launched his right rocket fist at Insti-Gator's face and knocked him down before he sat up and looked at Big Hero 6.
Hiro smiled proudly as he said, "Guess six is enough to beat you."
He growled with a vexed expression before he turned to see the waterfront approximately fifty feet away and he smiled deviously.
He got up and said, "You're good, but I'll bet you're not aquatic!"
He sprinted toward the water as Hiro urgently yelled, "Stop him!"
He ran on all fours while they chased him but he made it to the waterfront and jumped in as he swam like an alligator, with blazing speed.
Big Hero 6 stopped at the waterfront and stared at the water as Hiro stressfully said, "We'll never catch him now!"
They were startled when they heard a familiar voice shout, "Maybe I can help!"
They all turned their heads and gasped in shock as Frozone came skating down a ramp of ice he made and froze the ground in front of himself.
He skated past them as Wasabi exclaimed, "Uncle Frozone!"
He smiled as he briefly pointed at him and said, "Looking good Wasabi!"
He jumped and froze the surface of the water as he skated after Insti-Gator, who kept swimming just beneath the surface.
Insti-Gator turned and saw Frozone gaining on him as he said, "What?!"
Frozone skated over him and shot ice blasts from his hands and froze the water around Insti-Gator, trapping him in a giant chunk of ice. Insti-Gator was trapped as the chunk of ice floated in the water with only his eye moving, and he was unable to break free.
Baymax raised his right finger as he stated, "Reptiles are cold-blooded and slow down when exposed to low temperatures."
The others smiled while Fred happily hopped and said, "That was so cool!"
Frozone then returned to the shore and stopped in front of them as he smiled and said, "Yeah, I get that a lot."
Wasabi smiled before showing confusion as he said, "Uncle Lucius! Thanks for the save! What are you doing here?"
Frozone smiled as he held his palms up and placed his hand on Wasabi's shoulder while he said, "Well, your aunt and have a weekend off, so we decided to take a little vacation to San Fransokyo. I thought it would be nice to see my super nephew."
Wasabi smiled as he became emotional and said, "You're the best!"
He then hugged Frozone, who hugged him back while the others watched with fond smiles as Honey Lemon said, "Aww!"
Baymax raised his left finger as he said, "Reunions are efficient ways to maintain bonds between family, but should be planned ahead of time to avoid schedule conflict and…"
Hiro interrupted Baymax as he tensely said, "Oh man! We're gonna be late for school!"
Wasabi pulled away from Frozone with a worried expression as he said, "Oh man! We gotta go now!"
Honey Lemon looked toward Insti-Gator as she said, "But what about Insti-Gator?"
Frozone smiled generously as he pointed his left thumb sideways toward the frozen gator and said, "You kids get to school. I'll handle swamp boy here."
Wasabi smiled gratefully as he pointed at Frozone and said, "Thanks Uncle Lucius! You're the best! We'll meet and talk later! Bye!"
He waved to them as they flew off on Baymax and then Frozone saw police cars show up before he turned to the frozen Insti-Gator in the water.
Later at West View High
Violet had finished class as she was waiting outside as she stood with Tony, Lila, and Kari as they talked about stuff. Violet smiled as she had calmed down since learning about Larry and Jordan's escape as she smiled and listened to her friends talking.
Tony looked at the girls as he then asked, "Hey, did you guys hear that Larry and his dad escaped from prison?"
Violet's smile immediately vanished as she tensely nodded and replied, "Yeah, my dad read that in the paper today."
Lila expressed her shock as she said, "I still can't believe they were Oni and Red Menace."
Tony agreed as he said, "I know! I knew Larry was bad but I didn't think he was a supervillain!"
Violet glanced around as she said, "Yeah, he was crazier than I thought."
Lila glanced at the others as she said, "I guess Hiro upstaging him sent him over the deep end."
Tony expressed shock and relief as he said, "Yeah, not that I'm complaining, but I'm a bit surprised he didn't try to hurt Hiro.
Remembering well everything that happened, Violet glanced around as she said, "Don't question good fortune."
Kari smiled as she turned and pointed at Violet as she cluelessly said, "Well good thing he hates Big Hero 6 and the Incredibles now, or I'd worry that he'd come after you Violet."
Violet smiled uncomfortably as she glanced to the sides and said, "Yeah! Good thing I'm not the one who put him in prison."
Suddenly they heard a horn honk as Dash yelled, "Violet!"
They saw Helen pull up her station wagon with Dash and Jack-Jack riding inside, and Violet hastily said, "Gotta go! See you guys Monday!"
She ran to the car and got in while Tony, Lila, and Kari watched her with confused expressions, but they shrugged it off and kept talking.
That evening in San Fransokyo
Big Hero 6 showed Frozone to their secret lair, all of them wearing their super suits as they walked to the abandoned Frederickson Candy Company.
Frozone stared at the building while they walked as he said, "So this is your secret superhero lair?"
Wasabi smiled awkwardly as he said, "Yeah, I know it's not really flashy but…"
Frozone interrupted him as he smiled and said, "Nice job. Big enough, good location, discrete, inconspicuous, perfect place for a secret lair."
Wasabi was surprised and then smiled confidently as he said, "Yeah that's what I was thinking. Bad guys will never find us here."
Fred spoke eagerly as he said, "It was my idea!"
They went inside and entered a spot that looked messy but then Hiro pushed a secret button which made the walls shift to show impressive technology.
They showed Frozone their conference room as he smiled and said, "Now this is a lair! You kids have done good for yourselves."
Fred smiled as he held his arm out and said, "Yeah, it was designed by Roddy Blaire, King of Lairs."
Frozone smiled with admiration as he looked around and said, "No wonder this place is off the hook!"
Hiro smiled as he looked up at Frozone before holding his right hand out toward the screen as he said, "Yeah, and we do have a friend here to help us out."
The hexagon-shaped screen showed a face similar to Baymax's as a voice said, "Hello. I am Basemax. I am not familiar with our seventh occupant."
Frozone waved at the screen with a smile before pointing his right thumb at Wasabi as he said, "Hi Basemax. I'm Frozone, Wasabi's uncle."
Basemax stared at Frozone as she said, "Hello Frozone. Welcome to the conference room. You are now a trusted ally of Big Hero 6."
Frozone smiled as he turned to Big Hero 6 and said, "Roddy really outdid himself on this place."
Hiro smiled proudly as he said, "Well, I did help out, made a few modifications that he thought were great. I did add some additional coding on Basemax too."
Frozone smiled down at Hiro with respect as he said, "Smart boy. I can see why Violet likes you so much."
Hiro blushed a bit as he hopefully asked, "Speaking of Violet, how are things with the Incredibles back in Metroville? She tells me a lot of stuff but I kind of wonder if there's anything she doesn't tell me, which is okay. She doesn't have to tell me everything but…"
Frozone interrupted as he placed his hand on Hiro's shoulder and said, "Relax kid. You got nothing to worry about. You and Violet are made for each other."
He smiled with appreciation as he said, "Thanks."
Meanwhile at the Parrs' house
The Parr family was having dinner together as Violet stared at her food with a troubled expression while poking it with a fork. Things were quiet at the table while the rest of the family ate their food as Bob and Helen looked at Violet with concern. Dash was enjoying his dinner, as was Jack-Jack, but they also showed a little concern as they looked at Violet.
Bob then said, "Are you okay Violet? You've hardly touched your dinner."
Violet remained troubled as she replied, "I'm not that hungry."
Dash looked at his parents as he honestly said, "She's worried about Larry."
Helen sternly looked at him as she said, "Dash!"
Violet then showed a very stressed expression as she snapped, "No he's right! I am worried about Larry! He and his dad are psychos who hate us! What's to stop them from coming after us or telling people our secret identities!"
Bob raised his hand as he smiled and said, "Okay, okay, calm down Violet. I know you're worried but your mother and I have a surprise for you kids."
Helen smiled as she said, "We're going to San Fransokyo tomorrow."
Violet and Dash were both shocked as they exclaimed, "What?!"
Bob smiled as he explained, "Stan called us last night saying he's got an idea that he wants to share with us. We're going to spend one night at his house tomorrow before coming home Sunday. He's arranged for Heathcliff to fly his private jet to the airport to pick us up."
Dash happily stood up as he said, "Cool!"
Violet slowly smiled as she said, "We're going to San Fransokyo? That could be fun."
Dash smiled teasingly as she said, "Yeah, and you and Hiro can have some time alone!"
Violet blushed as she looked away, then she curiously asked, "So what's this idea of his?"
Bob was uncertain as he answered, "He didn't say, but he told us it's hero-related, so we definitely should bring our super suits."
Violet understood as she said, "Okay."
Helen smiled as she assured, "And while we're there we'll tell them about the Baxters and see if they can help us."
Violet's smile grew bigger as she said, "Sounds good."
Bob smiled as he said, "So you kids pack your things, we leave tomorrow after breakfast."
Violet and Dash both stood up as they happily exclaimed, "Yeah!"
Jack-Jack made happy baby noises while Dash and Violet ran to their bedrooms to pack their things and Bob and Helen smiled at each other.
Author's note: So this is the end of chapter 3. I'm sure you're all wondering where this is going and you'll find out soon enough. I thought it would be nice to put in a funny scene between Lucius and his wife this early in the story. We'll see another savage moment from her in a later chapter, though I don't know when yet. I also felt it would be great to have some quality time between Wasabi and Frozone, and show him with the rest of Big Hero 6. Insti-Gator is my own original villain I came up with, I based him off the Lizard from Spider-Man and Killer Croc from Batman. Big Hero 6 fighting him reminded me of season 2 of the series, and Insti-Gator was not a threat to be taken lightly. I'll introduce a couple other original villains in later chapters as well as some you're familiar with. Please review.
