French Toast

It was Thursday afternoon when Stan was at a military airport on the edge of San Fransokyo, waiting outside a secure hangar along with Heathcliff, Mirage, and Winston. Just then, Wasabi and Cass's cars pulled up and Cass got out with the rest of Big Hero 6 in their regular clothes. Stan, Mirage, and Winston smiled as they stood in front of the hangar doors while the others came and walked to them.

They stood in front of them as Stan smiled and said, "Hey everyone, glad you could make it."

Fred smiled excitedly as he said, "Come on dad! Like we'd miss this!"

Winston smiled as he pointed his finger at Fred and said, "I like your spirit."

Cass was a bit impatient as she said, "Now hold on, before we make any endorsement plans I want to see this jet."

Go Go agreed as she seriously got to the point and said, "I'm with her. Show us the Black Owl already."

The adults smiled at each other and nodded before stepping aside as the hangar doors opened to reveal the Black Owl. Cass, Hiro, Honey Lemon, Fred, Wasabi, and Go Go stared at the aircraft with their mouths agape in shock and amazement. The Black Owl was a fairly small jet with a wide wingspan and a large cargo bay, and thick round hull with four tailfins at the back. The cockpit had a windshield that was faintly shaped like the face of an owl and the two top tailfins made it somewhat look the crests on the side of an owl's head when looking at it from the front. The jet had powerful engines on the rear as well as thick wings that almost looked like bird wings with stabilizers on them.

Stan, Mirage, and Winston lead the heroes and Cass toward the side of the jet while Mirage said, "The Black Owl is capable of transporting supers and vast amounts of cargo to virtually any destination on the planet. It is equipped with thrusters and stabilizers enabling it to fly at top speed in any altitude, even in orbit."

The young ones were impressed but Cass showed concern as he asked, "Is that safe?"

Mirage turned to her and held her right hand out with a reassuring smile as she said, "Of course. Its armor is extremely resistant, and we've planned for every form of emergency. The Black Owl is equipped with drop pods for emergencies as well as every form of life support system, as well as backup power in the event something goes wrong. It also has highly advanced navigational systems to aid the pilot in traveling."

Cass felt slightly better but then they climbed up a staircase and went inside the jet to look around as they saw the cockpit. A pilot and copilot were already in their chairs as they held their hands up to greet the young supers with smiles.

Wasabi looked around at the computers with a nervous expression as he pointed out, "The tech in this jet kind of reminds me of those Manta Jets."

Mirage smiled somewhat sheepishly as she admitted, "That's because the Black Owls were designed from Syndrome and Sickness' technology."

The others looked at her with surprise as Hiro said, "What?"

Winston came and smiled calmly as he explained, "When Mirage joined the NSA she shared most of Syndrome's technology with them. We've been putting it to good use by using it to develop new technology to help the supers of the world."

Hiro was somewhat wary as he said, "Well, I guess that could help us defeat Sickness."

Wasabi felt very uncomfortable as he said, "I'm not so sure about this, considering what happened the last time we flew in a Manta Jet."

Cass curiously asked, "What happened the last time?"

Hiro smiled nervously as he said, "Uh nothing to worry about, just nothing that will happen this time."

Honey Lemon smiled optimistically as she said, "Yeah Wasabi, for one we don't have to worry about any Omnibots this time."

Wasabi smiled nervously as he said, "Yeah, but we're still flying in an experimental vehicle."

Mirage smiled confidently as she said, "One that has been thoroughly been inspected and approved by the NSA."

Cass showed concern as she asked, "Has it been flown before?"

Winston smiled reassuringly as he said, "We've run a few tests and so far everything seems to be working fine. We just need some capable supers to test it before we can get the model approved for transport."

Fred smiled excitedly as he clinched his fists and said, "Yes! We're the first supers to use a new high-tech jet!"

Stan smiled enthusiastically as he said, "That's my boy! Now let's stop talking and get this show on the road."

Everyone nodded in agreement as they walked in different directions while Stan smiled proudly with Winston and Mirage. Wasabi and Cass drove both of their cars into the cargo bay while Heathcliff parked the limo in it before they all out and joined everyone else in the passenger area. The passenger area had five rows of seats, each with six seats that were large, black, and somewhat luxurious; there were also windows on the sides of the jet. Cass sat on the right end of the front row, with Hiro next to her, and the resto of his friends filled in the other seats in the front row. Mirage, Winston, Heathcliff, and Stan sat in the row behind them and Baymax stood in front of them all as he looked back at them.

He pointed at the exits before looking at the others and displaying images on his chest while saying, "In the event of an emergency the exits are located here and here. Should we experience turbulence, for your own safety remain seated and buckle your seatbelts. If the plane should descend at an unsafe speed assume crash positions by bending forward, placing your head against the seat in front of you, place your hands on your head, and plant your feet on the floor."

Hiro showed an amused smile as he said, "Okay Baymax, we get it. Thanks for the flight safety briefing."

Baymax came and stood next to Cass, as she was nervous and patted her saying, "There. There."

She was very nervous as she said, "I hope those drop pods work."

Wasabi was also holding onto his seatbelt in fear as he said, "Yeah! Me too!"

Mirage, sitting behind Cass, reached over her seat and gently patted her shoulder as she assured, "Don't worry. I promise everything will be fine."

Hiro smiled a bit anxiously as he said, "Moment of truth. Let's do this."

Stan smiled enthusiastically as he said, "You heard him boys. Let's light this candle!"

The pilot and copilot headed the order as they prepared for takeoff as they pushed buttons, pulled levers and grabbed the yoke. Within minutes they took off and launched off the tarmac, causing Baymax to stumble back before falling straight to the back wall of the passenger area. The thrust was so great he was stuck to the wall and the passengers were leaning back against their seats. Wasabi was panicking as he shut his eyes and screamed exactly the same as when Callaghan tried to crush them the first time. He stopped screaming and held his head in fear with his eyes shut for a moment while everything became quiet and he felt motionless.

Honey Lemon then calmly said, "Wasabi…"

He nervously peaked to see her smiling at him and then he looked around and was surprised at how it already felt so still in the jet.

He noticed that Baymax walked up next to their row and looked at him saying, "I was alerted to your need for medical attention when you screamed."

Wasabi gradually calmed down as he lowered his arms and said, "Uh… Thanks. I think I'm okay right now."

An automated voice then said, "You are now free to move about the cabin."

They all unbuckled their seatbelts as Hiro, Cass, Honey Lemon, Fred, and Go Go stood up and started walking around.

Cass smiled with surprise as she said, "Wow, this is actually really nice."

Wasabi felt much calmer but remained cautious as he glanced around until Hiro said, "Wasabi, you gotta see this!"

He was standing by the window with his friends as they stared out and looked down in awe and wonder, prompting him to reluctantly get out of his seat.

He approached them with a nervous expression as he said, "You know I'm still terrified of heights."

Honey Lemon smiled as she sincerely said, "You'll like this."

He joined them and looked down to see they were already tens of thousands of feet in the air, making him cry in fear. Go Go then pushed his chin to tilt his head up and he saw the sun and the clouds in the sky, and his fear was replaced by wonder and amazement. He couldn't help but smile as he stared out the window with his friends and even placed his hands against the window.

He kept smiling in amazement as he admitted, "Okay, this is pretty cool."

Honey Lemon held his shoulder with a warm smile as she said, "I knew you could do it."

They all turned to Mirage, who smiled generously as she held up her right palm while saying, "We will be landing in Metroville in approximately thirty-three minutes. Until then you are free to enjoy yourselves for the remainder of the flight."

They smiled at her before happily turning to each other; they spent the rest of the flight doing various things that they enjoyed. Honey Lemon took pictures of the clouds outside with her phone while Go Go practiced her fighting skills. Hiro was doing calculations in a small notebook of his while Wasabi sat in his chair and worked on his laptop, set on airplane mode out of his own precaution. Fred was sitting up and looking behind his seat at his dad, who happily told him about his glory days while Heathcliff calmly read a book. Mirage was talking with Winston while Cass sat comfortably in her seat with tasty drink in her right hand that was served to her while Baymax watched her.

When they arrived the automated voice said, "Please return to your seats as we prepare for landing."

They all promptly returned to their seats and buckled their seatbelts while the Black Owl landed in another military base in Metroville.

They safely landed and within minutes they got off the jet as Wasabi happily said, "We made it!"

Go Go smiled coyly at him as she said, "See? That wasn't so bad, was it?"

Wasabi smiled proudly as he said, "I think I can handle flying in this."

Hiro smiled as he stared at the city before walking to his friends while saying, "Yes! We're finally here! Okay Wasabi, start up your car. I told Violet we'd go straight to her house so…"

Cass interrupted as she sternly said, "Hold on a second Hiro! I'm driving you!"

Hiro was surprised as he raised his right finger and began, "But…"

She didn't let him finish as she strictly said, "I didn't close the café early to just sit around at an airport while you play hero with your girlfriend! I'm coming!"

Hiro did not argue as he raised his hands and said, "Okay! Okay!"

She put her hands on her hips with a pacified smile as she said, "Good."

Hiro and Baymax got in Cass's car as she drove it out of out of the cargo bay, followed by the rest of Big Hero 6 in Wasabi's car, and by Stan's limo as Heathcliff drove him, Mirage, and Winston. They were driving through the financial district when they hit some traffic that slowed them down a bit, but they were still moving.

As she drove, Cass glanced around curiously before looking at Hiro as she said, "You know you're away around this town?"

Hiro held his palms up with a modest smile as he answered, "Sort of. When we came for the Baxcorp Technology Expo we explored a lot when we were helping the Parrs fight bad guys. I don't know every street of this city but I definitely know the way to their house."

Baymax looked at Cass and displayed a map on his chest as he said, "Hiro is correct. We visited the Parrs at their home almost every day. I have recorded several different routes to their address."

Cass trusted them as she focused on the road joking, "Okay, but you two better not get us lost in this town."

Hiro smiled cockily as he leaned back in his chair saying, "Don't worry aunt Cass. There's nothing to worry about."

Suddenly Baymax's screen showed an icon of a phone ringing while he said, "I am receiving a call from Go Go."

The screen showed a picture of her face as Hiro curiously said, "Go Go, what's up?"

In Wasabi's car behind them, Go Go seriously held her phone to her ear while she said, "Hiro we're listening to the police scanner and we think you should hear this."

She held her phone up to Wasabi's radio and through Baymax, Hiro and Cass heard, "Calling all units, 10-65 in progress at 23rd Main."

Hiro then urgently said, "That's a bank robbery, and it's only five blocks away."

Cass showed an uncomfortable expression as she said, "I guess you want me to take you there."

Hiro showed a serious expression as he pointed his finger before eagerly clinching his fist saying, "No, take us to that alley so we can suit up."

Cass was surprised but didn't argue as she drove to the alley with Wasabi following them in his car and Heathcliff parked the limo in front of the alley to keep anyone from seeing them.

Meanwhile at the Parr house

Violet was sitting at the island in the kitchen as she stared out the window at the street, waiting for Hiro and the others to arrive.

Helen walked in and found her as she curiously asked, "How long have you been sitting here?"

Violet turned to her mother as she impatiently said, "About fifteen minutes. Hiro texted me that they landed in Metroville and were on their way. They should be here soon but I'm starting to lose it!"

Helen showed an amused smile as she said, "Violet, I know you're excited to have him over again, but you're starting to get carried away."

Violet's expression softened as she smiled and admitted, "You're right. Sorry mom. I just can't stop thinking about having another day with him."

Helen kept smiling as she suggested, "Well until they come, why don't you do something to keep yourself busy?"

Violet then curiously asked, "Like what?"

Before Helen could say anything, Bob came in with Jack-Jack and Dash as he urgently said, "Everyone! Trouble! There's a bank robbery in progress! Suit up!"

He and the boys took off and Violet hastily said, "That'll work!"

She and Helen rushed off and they all put on their super suits and hurried down to their station wagon under the house. It transformed into the Incredibile and they drove it out of the waterfall secret exit and started speeding down the street.

Meanwhile in an alleyway

The back outer wall of the bank was blown up, leaving a giant hole in it as someone emerged from it carrying cases full of money. The perp was an old villain known as Bomb Voyage who smiled evilly as he saw that he was now in the clear. Since his last sighting over fifteen years ago, he had aged noticeably; he had gained a bit of weight as he had a small gut sticking out. His arms were also slightly thinner and his chin had grown slightly bigger as well, but he was still in decent shape to face anyone who stood in his way. Big Hero 6 suddenly arrived as Baymax flew down and landed ten feet in front of him, carrying the rest of the team.

They all climbed off of him as Hiro curiously stared at the villain and said, "A mime?"

Fred pointed at him as he said, "Bomb Voyage!"

The others looked at him in surprise as Go Go said, "You know this guy?"

Fred glanced at them before staring at Bomb Voyage while he said, "My dad told me about him. He some French villain he and Mr. Incredible fought a few times back in the day."

Bomb Voyage stared at them with hate as he said, "Grand heros 6!"

Baymax stared at Bomb Voyage as he said, "Mimes do not speak."

Bomb Voyage was annoyed as he looked at Baymax and said, "Un morceau de cochonnerie!"

Hiro folded his arms as he was not worried and said, "Well whoever you are we'll send you straight to prison."

Bomb Voyage smiled evilly as he pulled a bomb off his chest and threw it at their feet and then Wasabi yelled, "Bomb! Clear!"

Hiro climbed on Baymax's back and took flight while the others scattered and avoided the bomb as it beeped. It exploded and then Go Go skated in front of Bomb Voyage and put both of her smaller discs on her hands as she glared at him.

She prepared to fight as she fiercely said, "Time to make some French toast!"

She threw one of her discs at him but he leaned back and dodged it and smiled while he watched it fly back to her. He then straightened his back with an evil grin and she was somewhat impressed before he threw two bombs at her. She zipped away just as they blew up while Bomb Voyage smiled until Fred jumped down and landed in front of him.

Fred pointed at Bomb Voyage as he heroically said, "I'll beat you just like my dad, Boss Awesome! His blood runs through me and I'll show the world that am just as heroic as him!"

While he was talking Bomb Voyage secretly planted another bomb on his tail without Fred knowing and he chuckled evilly.

When Fred stopped talking he heard the bomb and asked, "What's that noise?"

He saw the bomb on his tail and noticed it was about to blow as he said, "Oh no!"

He made sure he wasn't around anyone before the bomb exploded and knocked him into a wall on the side of the alley.

He fell to the ground and raised one finger as he groaned, "I'm okay."

Bomb Voyage chuckled until Wasabi yelled, "Hey!"

He held his arms out with both plasma blades activated as he prepared for whatever Bomb Voyage had up his sleeve. He threw a bomb at him but Wasabi hastily deactivated his right plasma blade and held his arm out as he launched a plasma projectile that blew up the bomb in the air.

Wasabi smiled cockily as he cheered, "Ha! Looks like your plan just went up in smoke!"

He stopped when he heard a faint beeping and looked up to see another bomb planted high up on the wall next to him. It blew up and sent chunks of rubble falling toward Wasabi, making him scream in fear as he realized it was a trick. He quickly activated his left plasma shield and raised it over his own head to protect himself as bricks and other chunks of rubble fell against it. When all the rubble fell he sighed in relief until Bomb Voyage came and punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground. He smiled until one of Honey Lemon threw a purple chem-ball, which exploded and knocked Bomb Voyage onto his butt and frustrated him.

Honey Lemon smiled bravely with another purple chem-ball in her hand as she said, "You're not the only one who can make bombs!"

She threw her chem-ball at him but he dodged it as it exploded against the wall behind him, causing no real damage. He shined a clever smile as he dropped one bomb next to Wasabi on the ground before running to get clear of it. Honey Lemon gasped in shock before quickly typing buttons on her purse, causing it to eject a pink chem-ball. She immediately threw it at the bomb and it popped, engulfing the bomb in a big blob of pink goo, and when the bomb went off it only splattered bits of the pink goo everywhere.

Wasabi had a bunch of the pink goo on him as he sat up and cringed while Honey Lemon said, "Sorry, but at least I contained the explosion."

Bomb Voyage snuck up behind her and kicked her, knocking her onto Wasabi before he chuckled evilly and pulled off another bomb. He threw it toward them but it stopped in the air before flying up as Bomb Voyage watched in confusion. Flying overhead, Hiro used his left glove to magnetically attract the bomb into his hand, then he repelled the bomb to launch it high in the air before it exploded.

He and Baymax looked down at Bomb Voyage, who glared up at them as he angrily said, "Les enfants, vous m'enervez!"

Hiro was clueless as he asked, "Does anyone know what he's saying?"

Baymax kept looking down as he answered, "He says that we are making him angry."

Hiro then smiled smugly as he snidely said, "Yeah. We get that a lot."

Baymax then flew down and tried to grab Bomb Voyage but he tucked and rolled to avoid being grabbed by him. He then pulled another bomb out and prepared to throw it, but Go Go threw one of her discs and knocked the bomb out of his hand. It fell to the ground and started beeping, so Bomb Voyage got clear of it when it exploded, then he tried to reach for another when Fred jumped in front of him and shot fire, only for Bomb Voyage to dodge it. He walked backwards until Wasabi came and sung his right arm at Bomb Voyage, hitting him with his plasma shield and knocking him down. Bomb Voyage got up and glared at the three of them as he pulled four bombs off his chest and prepared to use them. Honey Lemon suddenly threw a blue chem-ball at him from behind and it trapped him as it popped and spread sticky blue foam that covered everything except his head and arms. He struggled in vain before mistakenly dropping his bombs as he cried in fear, they landed on the ground and started beeping loudly.

Hiro and Baymax quickly landed as Hiro jumped to the ground and urgently shouted, "Baymax! Get rid of the bombs!"

Baymax grabbed all four bombs, two in each hand, then launched both his rocket fists directly upward while everyone watched. Meanwhile the Incredibile was heading toward the bank as the super family had determined looks on their faces. They were surprised to see Baymax's rocket fists flying straight up from behind the bank, though they were so high up the Incredibles couldn't see what they were. Baymax's hands both let go of the bombs before they came flying back down, just in time as all four bombs went off and blew up. They caused a big explosion over the bank and Baymax's rocket fists emerged from the smoke and reattached to his arms.

The others happily cheered as Honey Lemon exclaimed, "Great job! Red Panda!"

Fred and Wasabi made noises of excitement while Go Go smiled and said, "Nice work big guy."

Bomb Voyage scowled all of them and they all stopped when they heard a car approaching when the Incredibile pulled up and stopped.

The Incredibles all got out as Dash happily said, "Guys!"

Wasabi smiled as he pointed at them and slyly said, "Hey Incredibles."

Violet walked up to Hiro with a big grin as she said, "Captain Hero."

He looked at her with a similar expression as he said, "Hello Incredigirl."

They kept smiling at each other until Bob showed an impressed smile as he said, "You caught Bomb Voyage! Great job!"

Hiro held his fist out to pound it as he said, "Thanks."

Bob playfully pounded his fist, hurting Hiro's hand as he held his wrist while Bob apologized, "Sorry. That happens a lot."

Helen smiled as she held Jack-Jack and said, "Nice work kids. You did good."

Fred spoke happily as he said, "Yeah, we really blew his mind!"

Bomb Voyage glared at Big Hero 6 as he spitefully said, "Les enfants, vous n'auriez jamais gagne sans votre robot!"

Violet then glared and pointed at Bomb Voyage as she spoke French and said, "Ils t'ont botte les fesses!"

Big Hero 6 were impressed as Hiro curiously pointed at her and said, "You speak French?"

She smiled modestly as she answered, "It's my foreign language, and one of my best subjects."

Hiro was amazed as he smiled and said, "Whoa!"

She showed a flattered smile as she glanced away while the others smiled and Jack-Jack happily laughed at Bomb Voyage.

Bomb Voyage sneered the baby as he said, "Petit morveux!"

Jack-Jack kept laughing until he shot a blast of his laser eyes and knocked off Bomb Voyage's beret, revealing he was bald. He gasped and looked up in horror as he could not reach his head to hide his scalp while the others stared at him in shock and covered their mouths, fighting the urge to laugh. Sometime later the police came and they loaded Bomb Voyage into the back of their car while the Incredibles and Big Hero 6 explained what happened."

Two officers faced Big Hero 6 as one of them gratefully said, "Thanks for the help Big Hero 6. You're some smart kids."

Hiro smiled a bit cockily as he said, "Yeah, we know."

The other officer curiously asked, "What are you guys doing here anyway?"

Suddenly Winston came and smiled proudly as he said, "I can answer that one."

He walked past them and led the officers away from all of the supers as he started explaining things in front of a news crew.

Winston smiled at the camera as he said, "Devtech has joined forces with Kreitech to help the NSA get supers more organized through a new method of transportation we call 'Black Owls.'"

While he kept talking to the police and the press the Incredibles turned to Big Hero 6 as Bob said, "We knew you kids were coming but we didn't think you'd be stealing our work."

Go Go smiled as she explained, "We were on our way to your place when we heard about this robbing a bank over the police scanner. We were only five blocks away so we thought that we'd stop to lend a hand."

Helen showed an amused smile as she said, "You were listening to the police scanner? You kids are starting to remind me of Bob."

Bob chuckled at her joke while Violet stood next to Hiro and curiously asked, "Didn't you say your aunt was coming too?"

Just then they heard Cass yell, "Hiro!"

They turned to see her run out of the alley and Hiro replied, "Yep, I did."

She hugged Hiro briefly before excitedly saying, "That was amazing! I was watching you kids fight that mime guy and you were amazing! I was worried he'd be too much with those bombs but you kicked his butt!"

Go Go pushed her back gently before glancing at everyone and pointing her thumb at the police saying, "Yeah, sorry to interrupt but we should probably get out of here before they start asking questions again."

Helen pointed at her with a serious expression as she said, "Good call Go Go. Let's head home."

Hiro agreed as he said, "We'll meet you there."

The supers all left the area while Winston kept smiling charmingly as he talked to the police and press explaining more about the Black Owls. Sometime later, Cass was driving her car with Hiro and Baymax while the others followed in Wasabi's car and Stan's limo. As they drove Cass noticed they were approaching a forest and were on the outskirts of the city.

She showed uncertainty as she asked, "Are you sure this is the way to their place?"

Hiro smiled without any doubt before pointing his finger as he said, "Oh yeah. Positive. There it is now."

Cass looked and saw their house and her jaw dropped in awe and wonder as she could not believe the look of the house.

Shortly after, Bob opened the front door to welcome the young supers and Cass in as said, "Come on in everyone."

Dash happily zipped over to Go Go while she smiled down at him and popped a bubble of her gum before rubbing his head. Honey Lemon happily picked up Jack-Jack and started cuddling him while he giggled happily and snuggled against her. Hiro and Violet happily united with big smiles on their faces while Stan, Heathcliff, Mirage, and Winston came in. Winston and Stan started talking to Bob while Cass glanced around at the house in awe before walking over to Helen.

She was shocked as she said, "This is your house?!"

Helen smiled modestly as she said, "I know it's a little big, but it's home."

Honey Lemon smiled as she joined them holding Jack-Jack, who happily said, "Cass!"

Cass showed a flattered smile while Helen happily rubbed him and said, "That's right sweetie, that's Cass."

She smiled at Helen before gently taking Jack-Jack from Honey Lemon as she said, "Such a smart baby. Here, let me hold him for a minute."

Helen then showed a bit of a nervous expression as she said, "Okay but you should be careful, he's a little…"

Cass did not listen as she smiled adoringly at Jack-Jack while saying, "Who's a smart super baby? You are! You like fighting bad guys like your mom, dad, brother, and sister?"

Jack-Jack made happy baby noises while nodding and Cass smiled as she curiously said, "How can something as small as you beat a big robot?"

Just then Jack-Jack used a few of his powers as he shocked her with electricity, then turned into metal and almost made her fall over, then shot his lasers as she narrowly ducked.

He smiled and giggled while she stared at him in shock and fear as she said, "Oh my god."

Helen then took Jack-Jack and smiled as she explained, "Yeah, Jack-Jack can be a little… unpredictable."

Everyone looked at Bob as he smiled and said, "So I see the Black Owl works and is already proving useful."

Wasabi smiled with optimism as he said, "Yeah! I think it might help me get over my fear of flying in planes."

Hiro had his hands on his sides as he smiled and proudly said, "Yeah, it was really cool and helped out a lot."

Dash smiled excitedly as he said, "Cool! I want to try it out!"

Winston smiled as he held his hands out and eagerly said, "Don't worry, you'll get your chance. This is just the beginning!"

Dash and Fred as they both happily cheered, "Yeah!"

Violet smiled hopefully as she said, "How about tomorrow?"

Winston smiled as he pointed at her and said, "You got it Violet!"

She softly cheered, "Yes!"

She and Hiro smiled as they looked into each other's eyes, but Helen politely interrupted as she said, "Okay, enough of that. Who wants dinner?"

Jack-Jack smiled while Dash happily said, "I do!"

They all sat at the table as Helen served them steak and some leftovers that made good side dishes that they enjoyed.

Cass smiled at Helen with respect as she complimented, "Wow, this is great! I've gotta admit Helen, you're cooking is delicious."

Helen smiled back at her as she said, "Thank you Cass, I'm glad you like it."

Fred smiled at everyone as he happily said, "Yeah! Nothing is better than free food!"

Stan smiled proudly as he said, "A nice way to celebrate our successful field test of the Black Owl and the defeat of an old villain."

Bob smiled before looking at Big Hero 6 with curiosity as he said, "Speaking of villains, I heard that there was a jailbreak in your town yesterday?"

Hiro nodded with a serious expression as he said, "Yeah, last night Insti-Gator escape from prison and got away."

Violet was sitting next to him as she said, "Isn't that the alligator guy Lucius helped you guys catch?"

Hiro nodded with a bit of anger as he said, "Yeah, we had him until the overpass blew up and he got away."

Helen looked at him as she solemnly said, "You'll catch him another day, what's important as that you stopped anyone from getting hurt."

Hiro expressed suspicion as he said, "Yeah but something feels wrong. There's no way that explosion was an accident, and I have a feeling Insti-Gator had help getting out of prison."

Mirage also showed suspicion before smiling reassuringly as she said, "I agree. There is more to this story than we know. Rest assured, the NSA will investigate this incident and we will report to you whatever we find."

Hiro's expression softened as he gratefully said, "Thanks Mirage."

Bob also expressed appreciation as he said, "Yeah, you've really done a lot of good since you helped us stop Syndrome."

She was flattered as she generously said, "I only hope to make up for my past misdeeds."

Hiro smiled with respect as he solemnly said, "Well, help us catch Sickness and you'll definitely have our support."

Mirage smiled as she said, "Gladly."

Cass stood up and sternly said, "Which means you can focus more on school and your semester project Hiro. You've only got a little more than two weeks left."

Hiro smiled as he said, "I know aunt Cass."

Violet then smiled politely as she said, "Speaking of school, Hiro, since you're here do you think you can help me study for my midterms?"

Hiro smiled as he generously said, "Sure Violet."

She got out of her seat and took his hand as she said, "Thanks. Come on."

He smiled happily as he kept holding her hand as they left the table and walked to Violet's bedroom while everyone else watched with different kinds of smiles. Dash smiled teasingly, Bob and Helen smiled sweetly, Cass smiled lovingly with her hands together, Go Go and Wasabi smiled proudly, and Mirage smiled warmly.

Honey Lemon smiled adoringly as she turned to the others and said, "Aww! They're perfect for each other!"

Bob fondly agreed, "Yeah. To be young and in love."

Cass then expressed high hopes and excitement as she said, "You really think they're in love? I mean I know they're a couple but you really think it's the real deal?"

Helen showed confidence as she said, "Absolutely Cass. Hiro definitely has true feelings for Violet and can assure you that she feels the same way about him."

Baymax displayed diagrams on his chest as he said, "Helen is correct. Hiro and Violet show signs of attraction when together: including increased heart rate, increased blood flow to their cheeks, and…"

Dash interrupted as he annoyedly said, "Yeah, yeah, we get it! They like each other! Kissy kissy! Let's eat!"

Go Go was amused as she looked at Dash; Hiro spent the next hour or so in Violet's room as he helped her study for her exams. Despite doing homework they were more interested in being alone together as they stayed close and touched each other a few times. Later they were sitting together on Violet's bed as Hiro made up an algebra equation for Violet to solve as they stared at her notebook on her lap.

Violet smiled as she wrote down the answer while saying, "So 'x' equals negative three!"

Hiro was thrilled as he said, "Yes! You pass!"

Violet happily cheered before smiling sweetly at Hiro as she said, "Yeah! Thanks Hiro. With your help I think I'll pass all of my exams, no problem."

Hiro smiled with confidence as he pointed his left finger at her while saying, "To be honest, I think you'd do great even without my help."

Violet was surprised and flattered as she blushed a bit saying, "Really? You think so?"

He smiled as he joked, "Sure. You're incredible."

They both chuckled at his joke before Violet said, "Thanks."

He stopped laughing and then raised his right finger while saying, "You're welcome. You know, I have some ideas for new tricks you could do with your force-fields."

Violet was pleasantly surprised as she stared at him while saying, "Really? Cool!"

They both smiled while staring into each other's eyes until Cass came and said, "Sorry to interrupt but it's time to go Hiro."

Hiro expressed disappointment as he said, "Aww, now?"

She spoke calmly before pointing her thumb behind her as she said, "Yes now, you have school tomorrow so we have to get home. Plus Baymax needs to recharge."

Baymax then walked down the hall as he wabbled around speaking in his intoxicated tone as he said, "I beat the guy in French. I flew the bombs in the air with my fists before they went boom!"

Seeing her point, Hiro started gathering things while he said, "Alright, I'll be there in a minute. Help Baymax to the car while I get my stuff. Gotta go Violet."

Violet closed her notebook and put it aside as she politely said, "Yeah sure. Thanks for helping me study."

He generously said, "No problem."

Baymax was leaning against Cass as she sternly said, "I hope you didn't just help with her homework."

Hiro smiled as he waved his arm down saying, "Don't worry aunt Cass. I've already got plenty of work on my project done."

She smiled before carrying Baymax away, and Hiro kept smiling with Violet as they stared at the doorway until they knew she was gone.

Hiro then nervously looked at Violet as he frantically said, "Don't tell my aunt but I haven't even started my semester project!"

Violet smiled sassily as she said, "Blowing it off?"

Hiro shook his head as he nervously said, "I'm not blowing it off! I don't even know what I'm gonna do! I can't think of anything!"

Violet was surprised as she cocked an eyebrow and said, "Really?"

Hiro nervously glanced at the doorway as he said, "Yeah! I didn't want to worry her or my friends but I think I'm going through what all scientists fear: inventor's block!"

Violet was still surprised as she said, "You sure?"

Hiro threw his hands out with fear as he said, "I've got nothing! What am I gonna do?!"

Violet then smiled with confidence as she said, "You're Captain Hero, you'll think of something."

Hiro was uncertain as he said, "But…"

Violet cut him off as she kept smiling with faith as she said, "Hiro, you're the smartest boy I've ever met. You always have an idea that saves you, even when you're under pressure. You'll get over this and think of something that will knock the socks off Professor Grandville."

Hiro then smiled as he was moved by her faith in him and said, "Thanks Violet."

He smiled as he briefly stared into her eyes before picking up his backpack and standing up as he started walking toward the door.

Violet grabbed his hand and stopped him as she said, "Hiro…"

He was surprised as he started to turn to her when she planted a kiss on his cheek, making him stare forward with a big smile on his face.

She let go of his hand and smiled lovingly as she said, "See you tomorrow."

He smiled back at her as he nodded before walking out of her room and heading downstairs as he let out a small sigh.

Author's note: There's chapter 8. I got this done sooner than I expected because I don't have work due to a snow day. I think I'll have chapter 9 up soon too, but we'll see. Anyway, Bomb Voyage will NOT appear again. He's just a minor villain I wanted to include for a short fun fight. He won't be part of the alliance Evelyn is putting together with the other villains. I might have them mention him in a few chapters but this was his only appearance. Now the Black Owls work and they'll enable Big Hero 6 and the Incredibles to unite a lot more, which is good for Hiro and Violet. Hiro's dealing with his inventor's block (a nice reference to the series) but Violet has confidence in him, just like he believes in her. Please review.
