6 Incredible Heroes Divided By 3

Spoiler: This chapter will begin with a nice montage showing the Incredibles and Big Hero 6 enjoying their new method of staying in touch. I'll also have Hiro make progress with his side projects and Cass will meet another character from The Incredibles. Enjoy.

Best of Both Worlds

On Friday afternoon, a Black Owl transported the Parr family to San Fransokyo before they drove their station wagon to the Lucky Cat Café. Once there they happily joined Hiro and the others and started socializing with them while Violet happily joined Hiro. She was in his room with Baymax as he helped her study for her exams, then showed her mockups for vehicles and equipment that would help him and his team on missions. When it got dark the Incredibles gave Big Hero 6 the night off as they beat up some crooks who robbed a jewelry store and gave them to the police. Afterwards they had dinner at the café before saying goodbye and returning home in the Black Owl before bed. On Saturday, after breakfast, Cass went with Hiro and his friends again as they flew back to Metroville on the Black Owl. They spent most of their day at the Parrs' house where Fred played a videogame with Dash and Violet talked with Hiro. Go Go threw a disc out with a smile as Helen stretched her arm out while and grabbed it in the air before giving it back to her. Jack-Jack floated in the air happily while Baymax followed him, reaching his arms out to try and grab him, but was too slow. Cass brought some snacks from the café, Bob tried one and smiled as he gave her a thumbs-up and flattered her. Wasabi went out to visit Lucius in his apartment while Violet brought Hiro to a fast-food place where they bumped into some of her friends from school.

On Sunday, the Parrs went to San Fransokyo again and met Big Hero 6 at Frederickson Manor where they had fun with their powers and gear. Honey Lemon used her purse to shoot several chem-balls high in the air, and they exploded and made clouds of smoke in different colors. Hiro used the thrusters in his gauntlets and boots to hover five feet in the air, and in front of him Violet jumped and made a force-field around herself to levitate. They both smiled at each other as they circled each other in the air while Helen watched with a tender smile. Dash happily raced through the streets until Go Go drove up next to him in her knew cycle, winking competitively at him. She zoomed away from him and Dash was shocked as he tried to keep up but she was too fast as she pulled ahead of him. Bob drove the Incredibile while Wasabi drove his car next to him and they had fun as they demonstrated their respective vehicles' features and upgrades. On Monday afternoon Big Hero 6 went to Metroville again, but Cass did not go with them as she stayed behind to run the café. Big Hero 6 and the Incredibles dressed in their super suits, along with Frozone, and went to a superhero conference at Devtech. There, Winston and the Incredibles introduced Big Hero 6 to Brick, Krushauer, Screech, Reflux, He-Letrix, and Voyd. He-Letrix showed off his powers as he made sparks of electricity surge from his fingertips while Voyd made two portals that Go Go skated through in a straight line at highspeed.

Some reporters also came to ask the supers questions, some of which were proudly answered by Bob, Helen, Honey Lemon, and Fred. Go Go had now patience as she shoved one camera away from her while several reporters took pictures of Baymax, and a few others took pictures of Violet and Hiro together. They snuck away with Baymax as Hiro happily took Violet for a ride on him as they flew around Metroville in the night sky with her holding onto Hiro. On Tuesday afternoon the Parrs flew to San Fransokyo again and went straight to the Lucky Cat Café to relax. Go Go and Wasabi easily helped Dash finish his homework so he could have fun before he went out with her and Fred. Mochi was running around in the back scared as Jack-Jack excitedly chased him in his monster form while Cass desperately tried to stop him. Honey Lemon sat at a table with Helen and showed her pictures on her phone of some paintings she made at SFAI, which Helen enjoyed. Hiro took Violet for a ride on his moped as they drove around town before stopping to look out at the sunset on the water. Go Go and Dash went with Fred to a comic book store run by Fred's nemesis, Richardson Mole, an obnoxious eleven-year-old. He was rude to both Fred and Dash before trying to flirt with Go Go to her annoyance, but zipped behind Mole without him noticing. When Mole turned around they saw Dash put a sign on his back saying "I'm slow", which made Fred chuckle and Go Go smile as she pounded Dash's fist in respect.

Wednesday afternoon, Baymax was holding Jack-Jack in the Parrs' house as he said, "Good baby."

Jack-Jack floated out of his hands and turned upside down as he sat on the ceiling smiling down at the robot. Cass stared up at Jack-Jack before he turned into water and splashed down to the floor, he returned to his normal shape then grew to his large chubby size and started playing with Baymax. Cass was speechless as she watched before Dash zipped around the room with his superspeed before taking a cookie and eating it while Fred joined him. Wasabi was trying to reach something under the couch that he dropped, Bob easily lifted the couch with one hand.

Wasabi grabbed a pen he dropped while Bob put the couch down and Wasabi gratefully said, "Thanks Bob."

He smiled as he said, "Don't mention it Marcus."

Cass was stunned when Hiro and Violet passed her, Violet was holding her left hand up as she had a force-field containing an empty bag of chips floating beside her. She moved her hand out and made the force-field fly over an open garbage can before flicking her wrist and dropping the force-field, making the chip bag fall in the can. Cass was in awe when she turned to see Helen stretching her arms out to clean some nightstands next to Honey Lemon and Go Go, who paid no attention as they surfed the web on their phones.

Helen's arms returned to their normal shape as she walked over to Cass who amazedly said, "Wow. Never a dull moment with your family, huh?"

Helen smiled as she joked and said, "Yeah. Everyday is super around here."

Later, Hiro was in the backyard by the pool as he worked on his stealth suit with Baymax standing behind him. Hiro suddenly felt someone tapping his shoulder but turned around to see no one except Baymax, who blinked as he stared at him. Hiro then heard something blowing in his ear and turned around but saw nothing again, and while he was distracted a screwdriver floated off the table and moved to the ground by itself. Hiro looked at the table and noticed his screwdriver was missing before spotting it on the ground, prompting himself to bend over and get it. He stood back up but noticed his blueprints were no longer on the table and he looked around to see they somehow moved to a lawn chair five feet away.

Realizing something was going on, Hiro suspiciously said, "What the…?"

He then thought and smiled as he got an idea when Baymax suddenly said, "Hello Violet."

Hiro was startled but then smiled smugly as Violet turned visible in front of him, she was wearing her super suit, minus the mask.

She frowned at Baymax as she complained, "Aww Baymax! You sold me out! I wanted to see if Hiro could figure it out."

Hiro smiled cockily as he raised his right finger and boasted, "To be honest, he beat me by only one second."

Violet smirked at him as she snidely said, "Uh huh. Sure."

He smiled playfully as he said, "Well, when your girlfriend can turn invisible you gotta remember she could always be watching you."

She smiled at his joke as she said, "Yeah, that's true. I can be anywhere."

She turned invisible again and brought Hiro's blueprints back to him, to which he smiled gratefully, while Cass stood by and watched. She was startled when Violet turned visible and jumped in the air to make a force-field around herself and flew past Cass into the house. She looked at Cass with a friendly smile before dropping her force-field and landing on her feet when she was inside.

Cass walked to Hiro with a bit of a smile as she said, "I have to admit, she's special. A girl like her is hard to find."

Hiro glanced at her and then smiled with admiration as he agreed, "I know."

She then looked at the stealth suit and expressed annoyance as she said, "Are you still working on that stealth suit?"

Hiro looked down at it with frustration as he said, "Yeah, I'm having trouble getting it to work. The sonics work great but the cloaking is tricky. If I could get it working the suit would be perfect."

Cass pointed her thumb behind her as she suggested, "Maybe you should ask Marcus, Ethel, or Heather for help."

Hiro dismissed her suggestion before smiling as he got an idea while saying, "Nah, they're smart but this isn't any of their areas of expertise. But I know someone who might be able to help."

Meanwhile Violet had changed into her regular clothes and was sitting on the couch reading her algebra textbook to study.

Go Go and Honey Lemon walked up to her and smiled as Go Go said, "Hey Violet, studying for algebra?"

She smiled up at them and said, "Yeah, my midterms are next week and I've got a good feeling about them."

Honey Lemon smiled with faith as she said, "That's great Violet! I know you'll do great!"

Go Go smiled snidely as she said, "Yeah, despite the time you've been devoting to your boyfriend."

Violet blushed sheepishly as she said, "I know, but I like having the best of both worlds right now."

They both sat beside her as Honey Lemon kindly said, "You two are perfect for each other."

Suddenly Hiro came back inside as he dragged Cass and Baymax behind him while heading for the front door.

Go Go then narrowed her eyes as she asked, "Hey, where you going genius?!"

Hiro stopped and smiled at them as he said, "Well I need help finishing the stealth suit, so we're going to see E."

Cass was uncertain as she asked, "We are?"

Hiro smiled confidently as he said, "Oh yeah. Trust me, she can help me finish this."

Bob walked to them and smiled as he pointed saying, "He's right. She's the best there is."

Cass was still uncertain but did not argue as she said, "Okay, I guess we're going to see this lady."

Hiro smiled happily as he said, "Thanks. See you guys later."

They all waved as Violet said, "Bye."

He walked out the front door, dragging Cass and Baymax with him and Violet smiled before frowning a bit that he was gone.

Honey Lemon then smiled as she generously offered, "Why don't we help you study."

Go Go smiled proudly as she said, "Yeah, we're not hero but we got big brains too."

Violet smiled as she gratefully said, "Thanks guys."

They stared helping and then Mirage walked in through the front door and Helen said, "Hey Mirage, what are you doing here?"

She smiled politely as she explained, "I finished my meeting with Winston, so I came to see how you supers are doing."

Helen smiled as she said, "That's nice of you but everything's fine."

Mirage remained politely as she said, "In any event I'll be ready to escort Big Hero 6 to the Black Owl when they are ready."

Helen smiled with appreciation as she walked away saying, "Thanks Mirage."

Mirage placed her hands behind her back as she watched Helen walk away, and she glanced around and watched everyone in the house. Sometime later, Cass drove her car with Hiro and Baymax in his case as they arrived at the home of Edna Mode.

Cass drove up to the gate as she reluctantly asked, "Are you sure this is the place Hiro?"

Hiro smiled with confidence as he said, "Oh yeah! This is it. She'll definitely help us."

Cass trusted him as she drove up to a screen and leaned out the window to look at it as it turned on and showed Edna.

She did not look friendly as Cass smiled awkwardly and said, "Um hi… We're here to see someone named Edna Mode."

Edna showed little patience as she seriously said, "This is Edna. What is it? Who are you? What do you want?"

Hiro leaned over his aunt to show his face and smiled as he said, "Hey Edna. It's me Hiro."

Edna immediately jumped back as she erupted with joy as she exclaimed, "DARLING!"

Cass was startled by this as Edna excitedly exclaimed, "It's so good to see you again! I was hoping to see you again!"

Hiro had an amused smile as he said, "Yeah it's good to see you too E. Anyway, I've got something I could use your help with."

Edna was very interested as she smiled and said, "Oh I love a good project. Come in, come, come."

The gate opened and Cass was surprised as she drove in, once inside Baymax emerged from his luggage and Hiro introduced Edna to his aunt. They were walking downstairs past some of Edna's suits while Hiro carried a case containing his stealth suit.

As they walked Edna smiled and said, "Yes, so good to have you here. I see that you are still keeping busy, very good."

Cass curiously looked down at Edna as she said, "So you design super suits?"

Baymax raised his right finger as he said, "Yes. Edna's profession is designing functional super suits to aid superheroes in their missions."

Edna smiled proudly as she looked at Baymax saying, "It is my pleasure. Thank you darling."

Baymax looked down at her while he kept walking and said, "You are welcome."

Cass then curiously turned to Hiro and pointed at him as she said, "And she helped you design those upgrades for you and your friends?"

Edna answered with a modest smile as she held her left hand toward Hiro and said, "Yes but I only made improvements based on his brilliant ideas."

Hiro smiled cockily as he looked at Edna and said, "But E does have a nose for this kind of thing. She's a genius."

Edna was flattered as she waved her left hand down and then said, "Your nephew is a prodigy. Like all teenagers he has tremendous potential, but I believe that with his brainpower he could become a truly magnificent hero someday."

Cass smiled proudly as she turned from Edna to Hiro while saying, "Yep, that's my nephew."

Hiro kept smiling as he said, "Alright, enough small talk. Let me show you what I need help with."

Edna smiled enthusiastically as they walked over to a wall while she said, "Yes, show me the art you have started on!"

Cass stood with Baymax and watched in surprise as Hiro punched a code into a keypad, stared into a retina scanner, then spoke into a microphone saying, "Hiro Hamada."

An automatic turret came out of the ceiling and aimed at Cass as she let out a cry of fright, then Hiro said, "And aunt."

The turret deactivated and went back into the ceiling and then they went into Edna's lab, where Hiro pulled out his stealth suit and laid it out for Edna to see.

Edna held the fabric and started feeling it and examining it while Hiro explained, "It's a stealth suit I'm making for special missions. I equipped it with sonic blasters for defense purposes but the cloaking is tricky."

Edna showed a serious expression as she said, "Yes I understand that."

Cass showed a slightly impatient expression as she said, "I'd like him to get it finished so he can focus more on his school project."

Edna lifted the fabric before smiling slyly at Hiro while she said, "Not to worry. I've dealt with far worse. The cloaking fabric is not ready but can be fixed. You've been working hard on it Hiro. Trying to be like a certain young heroin?"

Hiro sheepishly looked away as he said, "Uh… Maybe."

Edna then smiled eagerly as she said, "Well, that's all I need to know. Let us begin the work!"

Hiro smiled with delight as he started walking with her and working with her equipment while Cass watched. Meanwhile at the Parr house, Dash was smiling as he was beating Fred at a videogame while Fred looked stressed. Helen was putting Jack-Jack down for a nap while Wasabi was working on his laptop while Bob curiously watched him over his shoulder. Bob turned away and noticed Go Go and Honey Lemon still helping Violet study for her exams, then he looked at the time on the clock.

He then smiled as he looked at everyone and pointed his thumb backwards while he said, "Hey, I'm going over to Edna's. I want to see what she and Hiro are working on. Anyone want to come with me?"

Violet smiled excitedly as she got up and said, "I'll go! If Hiro and Edna made it than it's gotta be cool!"

Go Go agreed as she smiled and said, "No argument there."

Fred showed a competitive expression as he said, "I'm not going anywhere until I beat Dash!"

Dash smiled cockily while Wasabi looked at them over his shoulder and said, "So you're spending the night?"

Violet chuckled at his comment before she left with her father while Mirage watched them with a polite smile. They smiled at her and waved before walking out and then driving away from the house on their way to Edna's. Mirage then glanced around to make sure everyone else was busy, and while know one was looking she silently snuck into Bob and Helen's room. She reached through a drawer and found the remote to the Incredibile, the original one from Mr. Incredible's glory days. She snuck down to the garage without anyone noticing and she found the black and blue Incredibile and pushed a button to start its engines while she smiled deviously. Sometime later, Edna was sitting in the chair of her platform with Cass while Baymax stood behind them and stared at them.

They were waiting for Hiro while Edna gave Cass a cup generously saying, "Hiro is changing into his suit. Cream and sugar?"

Cass smiled as she politely took the cup and said, "Thank you."

Hiro then walked down wearing his stealth suit, which was a ninja suit that was dark purple, blue, and black.

He smiled at them as he said, "Okay, I'm ready."

He wore high-tech metal gauntlets on his hands that were black with two purple rings on the wrists and a purple panel on the back, and bright blue lights in the palms. He had a pair of purple and black high-tech goggles that would hide his eyes and allow him to see better in the dark. He also had two short bandanas hanging from the back of his hood on his ninja suit and his boots looked somewhat similar to the boots of his regular armor but with more black and darker purple.

He smiled at the others as Cass smiled and said, "You look great Hiro."

Edna was very pleased as she happily said, "Yes darling you look fabulous! So bold yet chic! Mysterious yet heroic! We are lucky to be in your presence!"

He was flattered before pointing at the chamber as he said, "Thanks, now let's test this out!"

He ran inside the chamber and it closed in on him while Cass and Edna watched as Hiro adjusted his mask to cover his face and then put his goggles on.

He stood in a fighting stance like a martial artist while Edna proudly explained, "We designed the stealth suit to be avoid making unnecessary loud noise and I blended in Japanese silk for comfort and speed."

Cass was already impressed as she said, "Wow, stylish and comfortable. Great combo."

Edna smiled at Cass before looking at the chamber as fire rose all around Hiro as Edna said, "Oh we are just getting started darling. It can withstand a temperature of over 1,000 degrees!"

The fire scared Cass as she jumped back in her seat while the reflection of the flames could be seen in Edna's glasses.

The flames went out and Baymax said, "Hiro has suffered no injuries despite the intense flames."

Edna smiled as she glanced at Baymax before looking back at Hiro while she said, "Yes Baymax, it is also is equipped with night vision and infrared vision in the goggles."

Cass showed a worried expression as she said, "Tell me there's something in that suit that protect him from more than just flames!"

Edna motioned for her to calm down as her metal mannequins appeared in the chamber while Edna said, "Of course darling. Hiro already designed weapons to help him fight crime, and I made some necessary modifications."

Hiro then aimed his left fist out toward one mannequin as the purple rings extended from it and then shot sonic waves at it. The sonic waves destroyed the mannequin after fifteen seconds and Cass was shocked as it was destroyed.

Hiro then used his other gauntlet to destroy another mannequin as he excitedly said, "Yes! That's sick!"

Cass looked at Edna with a worried expression as she said, "Yeah I'm kind of concerned about that."

Edna raised her left hand to dismiss her concerns as she said, "Not to worry the suit is deigned to protect Hiro's hearing when using the sonic weapons. The weapons also have different settings to change the frequency and amplitude, allowing them to be used for various different purposes.

They were startled when they heard Bob happily say, "Hey E!"

They turned to see Violet and Bob walking in as Violet waved and Bob said, "Sorry for barging in but we wanted to see what you were up to."

Edna was thrilled as she said, "Robert! Violet! So good of you to come! We were just in the middle of the demonstration!"

Violet walked up to the chamber and squinted as she said, "Hiro is that you?"

Hiro quickly pulled up his goggles and pulled down his mask as he excitedly said, "Hey Violet! Watch this!"

He threw his hands out and shot more sonic waves that destroyed one last mannequin as it shattered to pieces.

Violet was amazed as she said, "Whoa!"

Bob was a bit impressed as he nodded and said, "Not bad."

Edna smiled slyly as she held her cup and made the chamber open as she said, "Ah and you haven't seen the best part. Show them Hiro."

Hiro put his mask and goggles back on and then pushed a button on his gauntlet that made his suit turn invisible. Violet was speechless as she stared forward and let out a small gasp of shock before she started searching for any sign of Hiro. Bob and Cass were also impressed while Edna had a triumphant grin on her face as she took a sip of her drink. A lock of Violet's hair suddenly rose up in the air behind her, but she felt it and turned around with her hand out to feel for him. Her hairlock fell down as she could not feel anything except the air as she smiled competitively as she knew Hiro was trying to mess with her. She tried listening for him and heard one foot step and she tried to punch him but only felt the air as she missed him. She felt a tap on her shoulder and turned around with her hands out like a ninja as she tried to defend herself with a smile.

Suddenly she felt a pinch on her arm and rubbed it as she gave up and said, "Ow. Okay Hiro where are you?"

Baymax was staring as he said, "Hiro is behind you."

She turned around with a smile and then Hiro turned visible and sarcastically said, "Thanks Baymax."

Not understanding his sarcasm, Baymax said, "You are welcome."

Bob chuckled and pointed at Hiro as he said, "Nice suit though."

Hiro pulled off his mask and goggles as he smiled at Violet and said, "Thanks. I guess now we can both turn invisible."

Violet smiled graciously as she shrugged before smugly creating a force-field bubble with her right hand as she said, "Yeah, but you still can't make force-fields."

He smiled cleverly as he adjusted the frequency of his right gauntlet and said, "No, but I do have sonic blasters."

He then held his right hand out and shot a small sonic blast that knocked the force-field away before Violet dropped it and made it vanish.

She smiled at him as she said, "Okay, I have to admit the suit is really cool."

Hiro smiled proudly as he said, "Why thank you. I have to admit it was one of my better ideas, though I have to give some credit to Edna for helping me."

Edna was flattered as she waved her left hand down and said, "Oh darling stop it."

She and Bob started talking while Cass watched them then Violet smiled at Hiro and said, "Guess you still have some good ideas left in you."

Hiro smiled a bit awkwardly as he said, "Well these ideas I came up with days ago and Edna shared her own. I still don't know what I'm gonna do for my project. My block is still strong."

Violet smiled with faith as she said, "Don't worry, you still got time to figure it out."

Hiro showed a nervous expression as he said, "Thanks but I'm starting to get worried."

Cass then said, "Hiro?"

He then smiled as he walked to her in her seat and said, "Yeah aunt Cass?"

Edna then joined Violet with a supportive smile as she said, "It is clear that you and Hiro excellent together, in both identities."

Violet leaned to her as she softly said, "Don't tell him I told you this, but Hiro says he's going through an inventor's block. I want to help him but I don't know how I can."

Edna put her fingertips together as she squinted and wisely said, "Creative and intellectual barriers are often difficult obstacles to overcome, but one tends to rise above them with the aid of motivation and inspiration."

Violet was somewhat confused as she asked, "But how does that help me help him?"

Edna grinned slyly as she chuckled and half-jokingly said, "Darling, no one inspires Hiro more than you do."

Violet was surprised as she stood straight while looking at Edna before turning to look at Hiro talking to his aunt. Violet thought about what Edna just said but was not yet sure at how she could inspire Hiro to overcome his inventor's block.

Cass then got out of her seat and smiled as she put her hands together and eagerly said, "Okay big brains, let's get some food to fuel your great ideas! Who's up for dinner? I'll cook."

Edna smiled as she curled her fingers together and started walking while she said, "Very generous Cass. Follow me, I have a delicious and nutritious selection of ingredients for you to use."

Cass already showed interest as she said, "Ooh I can't wait to see."

Suddenly Hiro got a call on his phone and answered it with curiosity before showing terror as he said, "Go Go? What's up? What? You're kidding me! Alright! We'll meet you there!"

He hung up and Cass worriedly asked, "What's wrong?"

He spoke urgently as he said, "Go Go just phoned! The Underminer is breaking out of prison!"

Bob and Violet were both horrified as they exclaimed, "What?!"

Hiro then showed a serious expression as he narrowed his eyes and said, "They're on their way to the prison and so are your family, but we have to meet them there and stop the Underminer from getting away!"

Bob nodded before pointing at Cass as he seriously said, "You're right! Let's go! Cass, you stay here with E! It's safer!"

She did not argue but was nervous; sometime later Hiro ran outside, changed into his regular super suit as he got on Baymax's back and took flight. Violet and Bob were in their super suits as they got into their station wagon, which transformed into the Incredibile and drove away. Cass ran out and watched them leave as she waved and wished them good luck with a proud smile on her face.

Edna came out and calmly took her hand to escort her inside as she politely said, "Come darling. I will show you to my kitchen."

Meanwhile at Metroville maximum security prison, the Underminer escaped as he used his jackhammer arms to break a hole in the outer wall. He laughed triumphantly as he ran out of the jail while the alarm sounded and spot lights shined on him as he ran with his prison uniform on. A few guards came and tried to stop him but he knocked each of them out with one punch and kept running with an evil grin on his face.

As he ran he looked back at the prison and gloated, "So long suckers! You can't keep the Underminer stuck in the hole!"

He kept and yanked a man out of his car and threw him aside before getting inside and driving away with the car. Wasabi was driving his car on the way to the jail with Helen riding in the passenger seat while Honey Lemon rode in the back as she held Jack-Jack closely. Dash was running next to the car while Go Go skated along the other side of it and Fred was jumping across rooftops overhead. As he ran Fred spotted the car the Underminer stole and noticed how reckless he was driving as he almost crashed into a few cars.

As he ran and jumped he called the others and said, "Guys! I think I found the Underminer! In that car up ahead!"

Go Go spotted it and noticed he almost ran a guy over and sarcastically said, "Really? What makes you think that?"

The Underminer kept driving when he spotted them in his rearview mirror and turned around as he growled in frustration. He floored it and pulled away as he kept driving recklessly while Wasabi watched in shock and stress as he was horrified.

He then stressfully yelled, "He's breaking so many traffic laws! He's turning without using signals! He's exceeding the speed limit!"

They came to an intersection and he ran a red light while Wasabi frantically yelled, "And he just ran a red light!"

He came to a sudden stop while Go Go and Dash speeded away from them as they kept pursuing the Underminer.

Helen looked at Wasabi as she angrily asked, "Why did you stop?! We have to catch him!"

He moved his right hand to refer to the traffic light as he said, "Just because he ran a red light doesn't mean I'm gonna!"

Helen then shoved Wasabi into the backseat and got into the driver's seat as she took the wheel with a determined expression. She drove at highspeed and managed to drive without causing any damage, then she pushed an orange button with a picture of a flame. She activated turbo boosters that shot fire out of the back of Wasabi's car and gave them a boost forward.

Go Go and Dash were passed as Dash happily cheered, "Go mom!"

Go Go kept skating as she smiled with respect and said, "You go girl!"

They caught up to the Underminer when the turbo boosters deactivated and they were driving behind him but he was still far ahead.

Helen glanced over her shoulder as she asked, "Wasabi, is there anything that can help us stop his car?"

Wasabi showed an uneasy expression as he answered, "There is, but I'm not sure we can use any with all these people around."

Helen noticed the cars and people they avoided hitting and agreed when Dash and Go Go came up next to them.

Go Go showed a determined expression as she looked at them and said, "Don't worry Elastigirl! We'll catch him!"

They both zoomed off and pursued the car while they passed an intersection just before a bus passed, and Wasabi's car was on a collision course with it. Wasabi screamed in fear before pushing a button with a picture of a spring on it, and then the car jumped twenty feet in the air. They went over the bus and landed as the car kept driving and they kept following Go Go, Dash, and the Underminer.

Helen smiled at Wasabi as she said, "Nice job Marcus."

Go Go skated next to the Underminer's car and threw one of her discs at him threw an open window, hitting him in the face before it flew back to her. He glared at her as he drove sideways and tried to ram her but she dodged his car and then he looked and saw Dash on the other side. He jerked the car sideways toward him, but he ran sideways along the side of a building and smiled smugly at the Underminer. The Underminer was in another lane as he angrily tried to get away but the two speedsters kept running beside him while the others started gaining on him. Hiro flew on Baymax as they approached the car chase and started flying over Wasabi's car while the others spotted him and smiled.

He held the side of his helmet to use his commlink as he said, "Sorry we're late guys. What did we miss?"

Go Go kept skating as she hastily said, "We've gotta stop this nut before someone ends up at the bottom of a wreck!"

Hiro smiled confidently as he said, "Don't worry! Bob and Violet are already on their way here! In the meantime, Baymax rocket fist!"

Baymax launched his right rocket fist at the Underminer's car and he saw it and swerved to his right, but the rocket fist hit the tail light and smashed it. The car shook around but the Underminer kept driving while Baymax's rocket fist returned and reattached itself.

Hiro was annoyed as he said, "Well that didn't go as planned."

They kept chasing the Underminer as Helen leaned out the window and yelled, "Go Go! Can you take out his tires?!"

Go Go smiled confidently as she said, "My wheels are better than his!"

She then threw both her discs at the front left tire and damaged it as it was flat and he started to struggle to control. He grunted and cried in frustration and distress but he did not stop and then Go Go skated around the other side of his car. She threw her discs again and popped his back right tire and made it lose control as they started driving toward another intersection. The Incredibile blocked off the other side as Bob and Violet bravely glared at the car chase coming toward them. The Underminer refused to stop until Violet held her hands out and created a large force-field bubble in front of his car, and he crashed into it. He came to a big stop as the airbag went off and he finally stopped as the others stopped behind him and watched. The Underminer smashed the door off the car and got out in a daze before looking around in curiosity. He was surrounded by Big Hero 6 and the Incredibles as Bob and Violet got out of the Incredibile while Go Go and Dash stopped and stared at him. Wasabi's car pulled up as he, Helen, Honey Lemon, and Jack0Jack got out of it while Baymax landed and Hiro stared at him from on his back.

Finally, Fred jumped down and landed as he pointed at the Underminer and said, "It's the end of the road Underminer!"

The Underminer angrily gritted his teeth as he glared at all of them and prepared to fight as he clinched his mechanical fists. Meanwhile Cass was sitting with Edna in her kitchen as they both finished eating dinner as they sat by cleaned plates.

Edna smiled at Cass as she complimented, "Hiro was right darling. Your cooking is to die for!"

Cass smiled at Edna before looking around with an overwhelmed expression while she said, "Thanks Edna. You know, a lot's happened in the past week. This whole superhero thing is still a lot to get used to."

Edna turned and stared out as she held her pointer in her hand and wisely said, "Life is full of many surprises darling. Things do not always go as planned so you must be ready to adapt for whatever challenge you may encounter. Your nephew and his friends being superheroes is a lot to take in, but they have been doing it well before you learned the truth and they will continue their fine work now that you do."

Cass looked down with concern as she said, "I guess you're right. I just keep worrying about the danger they face. I already lost Tadashi, I can't lose Hiro too."

Edna shut her eyes before looking at Cass out the corner of her left eye while she said, "Teenagers face many challenges and struggles in puberty, both physical and emotional."

Cass curiously looked at Edna as she asked, "What are you saying?"

Edna looked at her with a wise expression as she said, "You will not always be able to protect or take care of Hiro. He is growing up. You must trust him to make his own decisions and protect himself. You must let him grow and help him only when he needs it."

Cass looked down as she thought about what Edna just told her, then they were both startled when they heard clapping.

They turned to see Sickness smiling as he applauded sarcastically and said, "Nice speech."

Cass immediately stood up as she fearfully cried, "Sickness!"

He smiled as he waved at her before he geeked out staring at Edna while he said, "Hey Cass. Edna Mode! Designer of supers' super suits! Oh man this is awesome!"

Edna climbed on her counter and glared at him as she coldly said, "Well I am not going to design a suit for you, even though you desperately need a new one. There are so many problems with your current one! First of all, no capes!"

He was offended as he looked at his cape and defensively said, "Hey! This is my brother's design and he was brilliant!"

Edna then angrily demanded, "How did you get in here?!"

Sickness smiled as he snidely said, "I came down the chimney."

Edna kept glaring at him while she pulled out her phone and sarcastically said, "Very funny child. But I'm afraid you are not welcome here and…"

He interrupted her as he pointed his right finger at them saying, "Not so fast!"

He then shot a beam of zero-point-energy from his fingertip and froze Edna and Cass in a field of it, silencing them both.

Sickness smiled sinisterly as he said, "No need to activate defenses. I'm just here to pick something up, then I'll be on my way."

He chuckled evilly as he stared at them both while they looked at him before looking at each other, still trapped in his zero-point-energy.

Author's note: That's the end of chapter 9. One small spoiler: Sickness is NOT going to kidnap Edna and Cass. He just trapped them to keep them from blowing the whistle. Now Hiro has his stealth suit, which we saw in the series, with a little help from Edna. I wanted to put her in and have her meet Cass, I figured they'd like each other. Here she gave both Cass and Violet good advice but the fun is spoiled by Sickness and the Underminer. In the next chapter you'll get a better idea of what's going on and see some more action, but that's all for now. Please review.
