Deep in space on the Planet Monarch, the Galvanic Mechamorph Baz-El crawled up on a few ancient stone statues, harvesting valuable blue gems from their eye sections and then fell back from the effort once it gave way, letting out a loud belch.
"Oh dear."
He picked up the two jewels he had harvested and smiled upon them.
"Ah, this is an unexpected bonus. I think I shall call you Baz-El's Retirement Plan."
Suddenly, the Galvanic Mechamorph heard loud rumbling behind him and turned to see the statues come to life around him and loom over him menacingly.
"Hey, what are you doing? No! NOOOO!"
Back on Earth, Julie was doing another practice run, hitting every ball with extreme precision as Ship morphed into a tennis ball launcher and then looked around confusedly, sending balls bouncing everywhere.
"Ship, Ship!"
Julie leaped over the net and then ran over to her pet.
"What's wrong, Ship?"
"Ship! Ship! Ship!"
"Baz-El? What about him?"
"Ship! Ship! Ship! Ship! Ship! Ship! Ship!"
"He's in trouble? You're going to help him?"
Ship nodded as he ran in place and transformed into his starfighter form and blasted off into the stratosphere.
"Wait!" Julie shouted, but it was too late. Her pet was long gone. "Oh, Ship."
Meanwhile, the Omni-Team shouted out as they engaged with a few Forever Knights in large walkers as they glared.
"See, I told you guys it was the Forever Knights!" Ben shouted.
"I don't see how these things fit into the whole King Arthur theme," Lucky Girl said, crossing her arms.
"Maybe they're supposed to be horses?" Jen shrugged.
"Anyway, I thought they broke up last year?" Huntress asked as the team avoided a laser blast.
"I don't think so," Apex said. "They have literal armies all across the planet."
"We'll ask them about it after we kick their cans," Ben said as the team sprung into action as the twins transformed into...
"Humungousaur!" the Vaxasaurian shouted.
"Novaflare!" the Tamaranean shouted.
The twins leaped forwards and slammed into one walker as Lucky Girl and Apex blasted their energy blasts at the other one, which bounced off its thick frame.
Kevin absorbed the metal from a nearby hot dog cart and morphed his arm into a spiked mace as Lucky Girl created a path for him and Huntress as they both ran up and shouted out, slamming their powerful metal weaponry into the walker, sending it crashing to the ground as the Knight fell out.
Humungousaur shouted out as he front flipped onto the walker's back, causing the Knight inside to gasp in shock.
"I know. I'm nimble for a big guy."
The horse walker then tried to buck the dinosaur alien off its shoulders and managed to kick him off into the ground as Nova Flare helped him up.
"I never did like the rodeo anyway."
"Ben? Jen?" a familiar voice asked as the twins looked to see Julie step into view.
"Julie?" Novaflare asked as she stepped up.
"She's not alone," Justin said as he walked up as well.
"How'd you find us?" Humungousaur asked.
"How do you think?" Julie asked, motioning to the nearby paparazzi being held back by Joe and Larissa.
One of the horse walkers moved in, only to be blasted by a powerful arrow that sent it toppling over.
"We're always happy to see you two," Novaflare said as she nad her brother transformed back. "But what's going on?"
"Julie needs some help," Justin said.
"We're always ready to help. What do you need?" Ben asked.
"I was playing with Ship when he got a signal from Baz-L. And then he took off like a rocket."
"Oh man," Jen said. "Do you have anything on where Baz-L is?"
"No."
The twins then looked to see the Horse Walkers behind them and they groaned.
"Could this wait a few more minutes?"
"I guess," Justin said as the twins slammed their cores down and immediately laid the hurt on the Knights.
"I really appreciate this," Julie said.
"It's nothing. We're always glad to help," Gwen said. "The twins do anything for the ones they love."
"Aw," Justin said as Jen pecked him on the cheek.
"You two stuck by us the entire time even after we became world famous," Jen said. "We have to do the same for you."
Back on Monarch, Baz-L groaned as he was tied up with the large stone statues looming around him. He tired to touch the bindings, only to feel a massive shock from it.
"That was set to immobilize."
Baz-L looked up to see a group of green cyclops aliens walk towards him.
"Now it's set to disintegrate. Use your powers at your own peril."
"Yes, well, perhaps you can loosen it a bit?" Baz-L said with a burp. "I'm warning you. If I lose my lunch, it'll be your fault."
"Don't toy with me," the leader said. "Tell me, where's the other occulant?"
"What?"
"The sacred Eye of the Sentinel!" the leader shouted, pointing up at the empty eyes of the stone guardians.
"I don't know you miopic moon cub!"
The leader of the aliens growled as he blasted Baz-L with a blue laser from his eye.
"Look, I told you, I thought this was just an old ruin!"
The aliens all gasped at that.
"This is our most revered place of worship!"
"Yes, but you don't take very good care of it, do you? From the looks of it, I assumed you were all extinct."
The furious aliens all backed up and blasted the Galvanic Mechamorph with their laser eyes, causing him to scream in absolute pain.
"SHIP!"
The aliens all looked up and to see Ship loom over them.
"Ship?" Baz-L asked. "Here? You're in a heap of trouble, you know?"
"Oh, are we now?"
The aliens all converged their lasers into one giant beam that blasted into Ship, causing him to careen out of control and crash into the planet, morphing back to puppy form.
"Ship..."
But as luck would have it, Ship looked up to see the Rust Bucket III touch down onto the planet right in front of him as the cargo bay opened up to reveal his owner.
"Ship!" Julie shouted as she and the twins along with Justin leaped out worriedly as Ship fell unconscious, dissolving into a puddle of liquid metal.
Julie paced worriedly as Gwen and Jen focused their mana on him.
"Is he going to-"
"Shh! We have to concentrate," Gwen shushed.
"Our mana doesn't work that well on technology," Jen nodded.
Sadly, the duo was further interrupted by the sounds of chewing as Kevin was eating some sort of blue confection.
"What are you doing?" Justin asked, slapping Kevin upside the head.
"Eating."
"So we've heard," Becky said.
"It's a Fling Cake. Want some?"
"What's a fling cake?" Julie asked as Jen and Gwen got back to work.
"Just the most delicious dessert in the whole galaxy. You wouldn't believe how much they cost. And I just scored six of them last week."
"What does scored mean?" Ben asked.
"Not like that, Ben. A guy owed me for a thing. A legal thing."
"I'm not hungry," Julie said. "I'm really worried about-"
Julie then stopped as Ship perked up and reformed, barking happily.
"Guys, you did it!"
"Or he smelled the cake," Kevin said.
"Nice, dude. Real nice," Justin groaned.
"Oh, Ship. I thought you were... Well, you're okay now. We can go back to Earth and-"
"Ship Ship!" Ship Ship Ship Ship!"
"What now?" Becky asked.
"He doesn't want to go back with us."
"Why?" Jen asked.
"Ship Ship Ship!"
"He says that Baz-El's been captured. He wants to rescue him."
"In spite of the fact that Baz-El's a total weasel?" Kevin asked.
"Pretty much," Justin said.
"Ugh," Kevin said as he absorbed some rock and formed some spiky cleats on his shoes, stomping into the ground. "That's better."
"Well, those of you who need to touch the ground have fun," Jen smirked as she formed some mana platforms to walk on as Ally rolled her eyes playfully and floated alongside her with her flight abilities.
"Women," Ben chuckled as he and Justin followed Jen's mana platforms.
Soon enough, the team arrived in front of the structure with the stone sentinels and ducked for cover behind the edge of the structure to see a moaning Baz-El strapped to a stone slab with the leader of the local aliens standing over him.
"Show me where you've hidden the oculant," the leader demanded.
"I already told you a dozen times, I will not show you what I don't have," Baz-El retorted before burping.
"Infidel!"
Baz-El screamed out in pain as he was once again blasted with the leader's laser eye, much to the Omni-Team's shock.
"Uncalled for! Uncalled for!"
"Ship! Ship ship ship!"
"I know, Ship," Julie said. "We're going to help him."
"Guys, we're trying to be sneaky, can we please hold it down?" Jen begged.
She was then instantly interrupted when the team spotted tons of the local aliens emerging from the rocks.
"Never mind."
Tons of blue lasers were fired upon our heroes as they all split up. But just before the twins could transform, they and the rest of their team were blasted by the onslaught of lasers, falling unconscious.
"Ship?" the small Galvanic Mechamorph asked at seeing his owner and Jen's boyfriend get grappled by the aliens.
"Let go of us, you, you..." Julie began.
"Jerks!" Justin shouted.
"Yeah, jerks!"
"Well," the leader said, looming over Ship. "A little one. If Baz-El won't give me the whereabouts of the occulant to save himself, perhaps he'll do it to save you."
"Ship! Ship! Ship!"
"Perhaps he won't," the leader said before stalking over to Julie. "But I wager you will to save the lives of your friends!"
"Ship..."
Later, the team was brought before Baz-El at the stone slab with the leader looking to them.
"I grow impatient. Talk!" he demanded.
"Ship. Ship," Ship declined.
"You're not convinced. Very well. Eradicate the female!"
"NO!" Ben shouted.
As an alien blasted a laser blast towards Julie, Ship instantly leaped towards her and coated his mecha armor form around her.
"Good boy."
Julie then ran forwards and started slapping away all the aliens around her and surrounding Baz-El.
"Behind you, Julie!" Gwen shouted, blasting an alien back with a mana blast.
The aliens shouted out as Justin ran forwards and started ducking and dodging their laser blasts as he started kicking punching them back with his martial arts rather effectively.
"Need any help?" Jen asked... only to wince at seeing her and her brother's significant others absolutely wrecking the aliens.
"Okay then," Ben said. "You two keep doing... that. And we'll... help Baz-El!"
Ben, Jen and Kevin ran up to Baz-El, who groaned in pain, only to stop at seeing some old... friends.
"Relax," Jen said as she and Ben activated their Ultimatrixes. "This won't take long."
Ben and Jen slammed the cores down and transformed into...
"Brainstorm!"
"Discharge!"
"I strongly suggest you keep unnecessary motion to a bare minimum whilst we seek to extricate you from this vile contrivance" the Cerebrocrustacean suggested.
"What?"
"Don't move so we can free you painlessly," Discharge translated.
The pair then levitated overhead as they shot their hands down, using their electrokinesis on Baz-El's bindings... which was doing the bare bones effect on it.
"Hmm... this might be tougher than we thought."
"Fortunately, there is no shortage of electroencephalic energy where Brainstorm is concerned."
"Ugh, just get on with it!"
The twins then blasted forth with their lightning blasts with a shout of effort as Baz-El grunted in pain. Unfortunately, this of course got the attention fo the aliens' leader.
"Stop, you imbeciles!"
"Imbeciles?!" Discharge shouted out angrily.
"I daresay, I have greater intellectual power than that of your entire species."
"I won't warn you two again!"
The leader blasted his laser vision outwards, only for Brainstorm to generate a shield of electromagnetism to block it.
"Now, where were we?" Brainstorm asked. "Ah, yes. On the verge of succeeding brilliantly."
The twins let out a double lightning blast which resulted in a huge explosion... destroying the entire altar and freeing a now daze Baz-El as the twins changed back.
"Done," Jen said as she and Ben helped Baz-El back to his feet.
"Blasphemers! Don't you realize that by destroying the altar, you've awakened the sentinels?!" the aliens' leader shouted.
"We did what now?" Ben asked.
Indeed, the stone sentinels started moving and slowly stalked towards the heroes. The sentinel with the missing occulant felt at the missing jewel where its eye should have been and glowered over our heroes stoically.
"Aw man!" the twins shouted.
The sentinels then fired lasers even more powerful than that of the aliens' from their jewels. The twins then front-flipped and transformed into...
"Swampfire!"
"Firefox!"
Then, they slapped their Ultimatrix symbols and transformed into...
"Ultimate Swampfire!"
"Ultimate Firefox!"
The twins fired tons of rainbow-colored fireballs at the sentinels as Lucky Girl blasted out her mana lasers, Huntress fired out her explosive arrows and Apex flew up and blasted out her energy blasts from her fists as they all avoided the lasers.
The sentinel missing its occulant, however, only stumbled around blindly as Kevin flipped around and grabbed a slab of rock, absorbing it and tossing it at one of the Sentinels as Julie fired out green energy lasers from her palms as Justin fired out shots from his blaster right at the stone guardian's eye jewel.
"Oh, now that's cool!" Julie said with a smirk.
The teenage heroes continued this onslaught, causing the sentinel to stumble into another one, causing both to crash into the ground, leaving only the blinded sentinel remaining.
"Well, I don't like the looks of this one bit," Baz-El said as the Omni-Team turned to run and hid behind the shrine's pillars, covering their mouths, careful not to make a sound.
The sentinel then apparently gave up, walking away... until Baz-El let out a massive burp, causing everyone to glare at him angrily.
"What is your problem?!" Ultiamte Swampfire scolded.
"I have a very delicate stomach which does not respond well to stress or offending you."
The sentinel obviously heard the belch and tore off the pillar section that Baz-El hid behind and tossed it away, showing a very frightened weasel of a Galvanic Mechamorph.
"Oh dear. *BURP!*"
"Wait a minute," Justin said. "It doesn't want us."
Julie walked over to Baz-El and gave him a mighty Heimlich maneuver, causing him to barf up the occulant, which went rolling across the ground.
"It wants that!" Julie said as she walked up to the occulant, holding it up to the sentinel. "Take it. It's yours after all."
The sentinel reached down and placed the occulant back into its eyehole, restoring its vision. Then, it and the other three sentinels walked back into position around the destroyed altar and then stopped moving altogether.
The twins transformed back and both gave their significant others a massive hug each as Ship demerged with Julie... and then everyone glared daggers at Baz-El.
"You had it on you this whole time?!" Jen shouted.
"More like 'in you,'" Kevin said.
"Look, do you know what I do for a living? Hm?" Baz-El asked. "Do you? I fly from one pathetic planet to another taking atmospheric readings. Oh look! There's a lot of nitrogen here! And a trace of argon! My favorite! And that's on a good day! The hours are long, the work is tedious beyond belief and by the way, it pays a miserably low salary. Ergo, when I can, I collect a few... souvenirs for profit. I call it my retirement plan. So shoot me."
"If you insist," Becky said, taking out her blaster before she fired it at Baz-El's foot, causing him to fall in pain.
"Okay, he deserved that," Gwen admitted.
"Oh great sentinels of Monarch! Once again, you have triumphed over your enemies!" the leader of the aliens pronounced. "We, your humble servants give thanks for-"
"Do you mind?!" Baz-El asked. "We're trying to have a conversation here."
"This is a temple!"
"Sorry, sorry," Ally said, grabbing Baz-El and dragging him back.
"I guess there's only one thing to do," Julie said sadly, handing Ship to Baz-El.
"Ship?"
"Julie, what are you doing?" Becky asked.
"Don't you guys get it? Ship came here to save Baz-El no matter what. He's a part of him."
"But... he's your pet," Kevin said.
"And more than that, he's your friend," Ben said.
"Besides, are you really going to trust Ship with a total weasel like him?" Jen asked. "He's just going to sell him to the highest bidder. Think about how much power he has."
"That's right," Baz-El said. "And you trained him. Look! He's a cannon! Now he's a battle cruiser! Good boy, Ship!"
"So what's it gonna be, Ship?" Justin asked. "Go with Baz-El so he can make a quick buck selling you or stay with Julie who really cares deeply about-'
"Julie!" Ship called as he leaped into Julie's arms and licked her face cutely.
"Hmm, rather stacked the deck there, didn't you? Fine, I'm leaving before all this cloying affection gives me another stomachache."
As Baz-El turned to leave, Julie turned to Ben with a loving look on her face.
"So... you really dropped everything just to help me find my pet?" Julie asked.
"I'd do anything for you," Ben said. "You're my girl. You're the only person in my life who's not a part of my team who looks past all my fame. You know the real me faults and all and that's okay with you."
Julie smiled warmly before she grabbed Ben and gave him a passionate kiss on the lips, much to the satisfaction of everyone there.
"Oh, come here!" Jen shouted as she tackled Justin and kissed him on the lips as well.
"Come on," Ally smirked as she started flying to the ship. "Let's get out of here."
"I heard that," Becky smiled as they all started walking towards their ride home.
