In the woods overlooking Bellwood, Jimmy Jones was recording a podcast for his alien blog as he began speaking into the camera.
"Podcast, Thursday, May 25, 10:34 PM. The bus to Bellwood took longer than I thought," Jimmy said. "If my sources are right, I'm cutting it close."
Later, Jimmy set the camera on a rock to record himself with a determined look on his face.
"Satellite data, web chatter and my reporter's gut all say this isn't just another meteor strike."
Suddenly, a loud BOOM! was heard and Jimmy hurriedly picked the camera up and pointed it to the sky to show a comet hurtling through the sky.
"There it is!"
What the aspiring reporter didn't expect was to find the 'meteor' crashed right into the hill above him. Jimmy let his curiosity get the better of him as he ran towards the crash.
"The object seems to have gone straight into the cave. Coincidence? Doubtful."
Jimmy entered the cave and activated the camera's flashlight and gazed around the rocky walls before seeing a small hole in the ceiling.
"Doesn't seem like a regular meteor made that, that's for sure. There's something in here. It doesn't look like an alien ship or a probe either. It's..."
He trailed off as he looked down to see a small white and purple plant growing out of the ground.
"...a dumb space plant! News? Yes. Scoop? No! Come on! The least you can do is bloom or something."
As if Jimmy had just tempted fate, the 'plant' burst out of the ground, the bud on its top blooming before lashing its tentacles out at Jimmy, causing him to drop his camera and the biggest fan of the Tennyson Twins screamed out as he was lifted into the air as his bag of potato chips was scattered all across the cave floor.
Meanwhile in one of the factories in the desert, Apex shouted out as she gave several strong punches to Sevenseven's gauntlets, sending the Sotoraggian bounty hunter sliding back as he formed the large energy cannon on his hands and blasted out at Apex, sending her crashing through the wall.
He aimed at her again, only to be pelted with several mana bolts and bullets as Lucky Girl and Huntress ran towards him with a shout.
"Back off!" Lucky Girl shouted as Kevin ran in in metal armor and sent a powerful rock wave outwards that sent Sevenseven flying forwards into a slice of Huntress' spear.
Sevenseven took out his energy sword and sliced forwards, only to be blocked by Lucky Girl's mana shields, which eventually cracked as she gave a mana punch outwards, sending him into Rath's grip as he and Kung Fang glared.
"You did NOT just do that," Rath spat. "Let me tell you something, Sevenseven, intergalactic bounty hunter for hire-"
The Appoplexian was interrupted as Sevenseven gave a powerful martial arts strike to sent him crashing to the ground.
"Ooh, karate! I'm gonna call you Karate Man! Can I call you karate man, karate man?"
Sevenseven gave a rushing slice, only to be blocked by Kung Fang as she whacked him with a strike the blade crashing to the ground, which she destroyed with her sonic shriek.
"Ben, focus!" the Vaxasaurian shouted as Sevenseven got into a karate pose.
"Tell you what, Karate Man. I'll hold real still like a stack of boards and you can meditate until you're ready to chop me in half, okay?"
Sevenseven ran forwards and gave a powerful chop, only to be blocked by both twins as they smirked.
"Yeah, I lied," Rath said.
"You want to know the difference between you and a pile of boards?" Kung Fang asked. "Boards don't hit back!"
She then did a spinning roundhouse kick to Sevenseven's head, sending him crashing into a set of computers in a heap.
The Sotoraggian stood to his feet as he saw Rath slowly approach.
"Now I'm mad," he said, cracking his knuckles.
The Omni-Team stepped outside to see Sevenseven wrapped around a mangled lamp post as Gwen and Becky smirked.
"Well, I guess that about wraps things up," Becky joked.
The rest of the team were unimpressed at the gag with a shrug as they walked to their vehicles.
"Oh, come on! There's a lamp post wrapped around him!" Gwen said.
"Yeah, we know. We were the ones who did it," Jen said. "Good try, though."
"Guys! WAi" Jimmy shouted, running up to the Omni-Team with his potato chip bag in hand.
"Hey, Jimmy," Ben said. "It's been awhile. You wanna cover this on your website?"
"Guys, I've got real news!" Jimmy said. "I spotted the vanguard of an alien invasion and stopped it before it could start."
The Omni-Team only stood there with disbelieving looks on their faces as Jimmy ate his chips.
"Really?" Ally asked.
"Yep. I think I must have defeated the alien plant monster in its cave, then staggered outside, but I kind of blacked out during the battle."
"Video or it didn't happen," Kevin demanded.
"I had video, but I think the plant must have taken it when it retreated back into the cave. I figured you guys must have wanted to, uh... check my work?"
"...Yeah. I'm out," Kevin said, rolling his eyes.
"Right behind you," Ally said as the Omni-Team made their way over to Kevin's car as Ally hopped on her bike.
"I have tons of studying to do, Jimmy," Gwen said.
"Maybe next conspiracy," Becky said.
Jimmy bowed his head before giving a hopeful look to the twins.
"Okay, okay, we'll check it out," Jen said.
"Our cars are still in the shop, guys," Ben said. "Think you can give us a ride?"
The twins were instantly answered by Kevin peeling out of the parking lot as Ally gave them a sorry look before driving off as well.
"I guess we're flying," Jen said.
After the twins touched down in the woods in their Anodite forms, they began walking through the woods with Jimmy towards the cave where the alien blogger was attacked.
"I can't believe you two don't have a bus pass," Jimmy said. "That should be Plumber's standard issue."
"Why would we need a bus pass when we have our own cars?" Jen asked. "But we'll make a note of that to our grandpa."
The twins stopped as they arrived at the cave.
"Stay here," Ben ordered. "Jen and I will check it out ourselves."
"Right. Standard procedure," Jimmy said nervously.
The twins activated the flashlight functions on their Ultimatrixes and then entered the cave as Jimmy pulled his bag of potato chips out of his jacket pocket and began eating nervously.
A few minutes passed and the twins still didn't come out.
"Uh, Ben? Jen?" Jimmy asked. "Is everything alright in there? Ben?"
"Come on in, Jimmy!" Jen called.
Jimmy nervously entered the cave and looked around before two lights were flashed in his face as the twins gave him a knowing smirk.
"Looks like you held down the line against the alien invasion pretty well in here," Ben said, shining his flashlight around to show that the cave was completely empty.
"But it was here! Like a pod or a bulb! From space!" Jimmy insisted.
"Sometimes, when we eat out late at night, we have nightmares so real, we wake up hitting the Ultimatrixes," Ben said.
"It really happened!"
"One time, I thought I saw Vilgax in my closet," Jen said. "It turned out to be one of Grandpa Max's extra shirts."
"I don't know. Maybe you guys are right. Maybe I wanted another big story so bad, I dreamed one up."
Jimmy held out some crumbs as Jen shook her hand.
"No, we're good," she said.
"Let's get you home," Ben said.
The next morning, Jimmy was awoken from his slumber... on the bedroom floor by the ringing of his phone.
"Thank you, always finding weird stuff algorithm!" Jimmy cheered as he ran to his computer to check his blog. "What have we found?"
He was answered by a massive spike in water usage over the previous night, much to his shock.
"This can't be right. It's like everyone in town flushed the toilet at the same time... for two days straight! ...And who uses water, Jimmy? Plants, that's who! I'm not imagining this."
The very next night, Jimmy made his way back to the cave and immediately started recording as he made his way back to the scene where the plant attacked him. He immediately recoiled when he saw two figures standing in the shadowsof the clearing. He looked around the cavern and spotted two pods lining the walls on opposite sides.
Suddenly, the two figures turned around to reveal none other than the Tennyson Twins.
"Your will is our command, Master," Ben said in a robotic tone.
Jimmy gasped as he braced himself against the wall. "Ben and Jen are in on it!"
The twins stood in front of the plant creature, which had now grown to giant size and had a giant eyeball in the center gazing all throughout the cave.
Jimmy snuck out of the cave and then ran away, hiding behind a tree as the twins emerged from the mouth, looking around for the intruder.
"Gotta get proof!" Jimmy said as he took out his camera and snapped a quick picture of the twins, but it was too fast to get a good picture. "Oops."
The twins stepped forwards slowly, looking for Jimmy, but only finding the noise to be a squirrel climbing up a tree before their real target ran away.
"I'm telling you, I know what I saw!" Jimmy shouted as he met with the remainder of the team in Omni-Manor.
"Ben and Jen Tennyson, the twins who saved the Earth on several occasions and the universe at least once?" Kevin asked in a disbelieving tone.
"If the water table graphs aren't enough to convince you guys, what do you have to say about this?" Jimmy asked, showing his picture of the twins, which was completely blurred out.
"In lowlight situations, you might want to hold the camera extra steady," Gwen advised.
"I ducked so they wouldn't see me," Jimmy insisted.
"Who?" Ally asked.
"Ben and Jen! They were there talking to the alien!"
"You definitely didn't get their good side," Ally said, squinting at the picture. "Or any side."
"Now you're saying the twins are part of some alien conspiracy?" Becky asked. "It's just a shadowy blob. No credible source would ever take this as real proof."
"Welcome back to the Will Harangue Nation. Our guest today, Jimmy Jones," Will Harangue reported. "The ten year old Jimmy, the boy who exposed Ben and Jen Tennyson for the menaces they are."
"Uh, that's not exactly-" Jimmy began.
"Don't talk over me, Jimmy. Now Jimmy has a new equally startling claim. Ben and Jen Tennyson are leading an alien invasion to take over the entire Earth!"
"I didn't say they were leading it. I said they may be involved. They need our help."
"That the Tennyson Twins are involved in something nefarious isn't in question. But Jimmy, what do you say to those critics who said you fabricated this entire story? That this is an obvious attempt to recapture your glory days at trying to expose Ben and Jen Tennyson, a story that you stumbled into by sheer luck!?"
"What? No, no! I'm telling the truth!"
"Ha! Well, it certainly would be the truth that somebody who claims to be Ben and Jen Menaceson's friend would be trailing this-"
Kevin only laughed as the remainder of the Omni-Team gazed upon the Harangue Nation as Ally folded her arms.
"I love this show!" Kevin laughed.
"Okay, in my defense, I said no credible source would take that as proof," Becky said. "Will Harangue isn't a credible source. He'll take anything, no matter how obviously fake it looks."
"I couldn't agree with you more, sis," Gwen said. "But something's really got Jimmy spooked. Maybe we should check it out."
"Yeah, but Harangue's gonna lie about Ben and Jen some more and I wanna see..."
He was immediately met with the glares of the three girls in front of him.
"I can DVR."
That night at the Stay Cost store, Jimmy parked his bike with a groan as he sulked into the store.
"Stupid show," he grumbled. "Stupid Harangue."
Jimmy walked up to a large stack of Plantar's Peanuts and picked one from the pile.
"I wish you'd just come to us, Jimmy."
Jimmy gasped as he spotted a smirking Ben and Jen standing right behind him.
"Ben, Jen," he said.
"We could've cleared this whole thing up," Jen said. "Why don't we go get some smoothies?"
"We're buying," Ben said.
"Oh, thanks. But my mom says I'm supposed to clean my room," Jimmy said. "Bye!"
Jimmy walked off, leaving behind two mischievous looking twins as they fist-bumped.
As Jimmy ducked for cover, he was immediately discovered by Humungousaur, who knocked over all of the shelves as he roared at him.
"Don't run away from us, Jimmy!" the Vaxasaurian shouted.
Jimmy shouted out as he ran away from Humungousaur, only to run smack dab into Jen as Swiss Miss, running her claws along the walls like Freddy Krueger.
"You can't run from us, Jimmy!" she said as Jimmy ran down another aisle as she approached slowly. "We only want to take you out for a smoothie. Not slash you into several bloody ribbons."
"Or crush you into a fine powder."
Jimmy shouted as he ran for his life as the twins separated as they engaged him.
"Why are you running?!" Humungousaur shouted. "Your email address is Ben&JenFan1! Don't you like us anymore?!"
Jimmy slid under cover as Humungousaur tripped over the peanut stack as he knocked some shelves over, pinning Swiss Miss under their weight. He then stopped to catch his breath before stopping as he spotted a very particular substance in a jar as he smirked.
"Let's see how you two like this."
Humungousaur and Swiss Miss spotted him, only for him to slide between Humungousaur's legs, as he slipped on the greased floors, causing both twins to crash into each other as Jimmy ran for the door.
"Stay away from that door!" Swiss Miss shouted as Jimmy ducked from a shelf that collided into the door.
Jimmy screamed as he ran through the aisles, only to be stopped by the falling shelves as the twins glared at him from above, cornering him like a rat.
"Why are you two doing this?!"
"I wanna give you an exclusive," Humungousaur said. "A real reporter would risk everything to get to the truth."
"A real reporter trusts his hunches. And I have a hunch I wouldn't live to post my story!"
Jimmy ran away, crawling under the shelves as Swiss Miss slashed them apart with her blade arms, only to find that they had completely lost their biggest fan.
"Come out come out wherever you are, Jimmy," Swiss Miss said creepily.
"Seriously, this is all just a big mistake," Humungousaur said as his tail knocked over some soda bottles, that Jimmy quickly caught and set upright again. "Sorry we scared you."
"Let's get a pizza and talk about our feelings!" Swiss Miss shouted as she slashed through tons of shelves.
Neither of them noticed as Jimmy opened the soda bottles and then popped some mints into the bottles with a determined look as the twins shadows were cast over him. Jimmy immediately ran away as the twins stepped forward, not noticing the trap.
The chemical reaction from the mints immediately sent massive fountains of soda erupting into the twins faces as Jimmy hurriedly got on his bike and cycled away as the twins burst from the shopping mart and chased after him as Swiss Miss slashed htrough several cars.
Jimmy hurriedly cycled his way into an alleyway that was too small for Humungousaur, who tried to squeeze through as Swiss Miss leaped up onto the attack and pressed his Bluetooth with a shout.
"Call Gwen Tennyson!"
As he exited the alleyway, he was suddenly stopped in his tracks as Firefox stood on the rooftop beside him.
"Hello, Jimmy,"" said another voice as he looked to see Cannonbolt on the other rooftop.
Jimmy screamed as he cycled away from the giant ball of death chasing after him as he cycled into the busy traffic as Firefox shouted out and sped off after him on all fours, blazing through.
"Hello?" Gwen asked.
"Gwen, I'm in total trouble! The twins are after me!"
Kevin and Ally drove their car and bike down the highway as they listened to Jimmy's call.
"I know it sounds crazy but-"
"No," Becky said. "We checked out the cage, Jimmy. We know. Where are you?"
"North side of Save Cost! Look out for a kid on a red bike with two aliens chasing him!"
Cannonbolt eventually got so close that he was rising on Jimmy's rear tire as Firefox kept blasting her fireballs at him, which he swerved around. Thinking quickly, he reduced his speed and ducked behind the cars and sped down a street corner.
Cannonbolt and Firefox followed after him immediately... only for them to get hit by a bus. Jimmy looked back at that scene only to see Kevin pull up in his car right beside him and Gwen rolled down the window just as Ally pulled over.
"They're right behind me!"
"Everything is going to be alright. Get in the car," Gwen ordered... sounding robotic.
"Gwen? Becky? Guys? What did you find in the cave?"
"We'll tell you on the way," Kevin said, sounding just as robotic as his girlfriend. "Just get in the car."
"...Yeah. I don't think so," Jimmy said, backing away.
"Get. In, Jimmy," Becky ordered as her hand went to her blaster.
As Jimmy backed away, a flash of green and pink sounded behind him and he looked to see the twins approach and Ben put a hand on his shoulder.
"Why don't we all get in?" Jen asked.
Later, the Levin siblings drove their vehicles through the woods as Jimmy squirmed between Ben and Jen.
"Should we get rid of him?" Kevin asked. "Because I can totally take care of that for you two."
"Not yet," Ben said.
After parking, Ally hoisted a kicking and screaming Jimmy over her shoulder as the Omni-Team walked into the cave.
"Let me go!"
"Kevin said it before and I'll say it now," Ally said. "I'd be happy to silence this creature once and for all."
"The master wants to know why it couldn't absorb him earlier," Jen said.
"If there are others with his natural resistance, we need to know how it works," Becky agreed.
"So we can take him out after, right?" Kevin asked.
The Omni-Team then stopped in front of the giant plant alien as Ally set Jimmy down on the ground.
"Yes, master. We obey," Ben said as he and Jen stopped in front of the alien. "Put him with the others."
Gwen and Kevin hoisted Jimmy up by the straps of his backpack as he shouted out.
"No! Let me go!"
The couple then pressed Jimmy up against the wall... right next to purple pods, which Jimmy immediately noticed contained the unconscious forms of the real Omni-Team.
"You're not Ben and Jen at all!" Jimmy realized. "Or their teammates!"
Two plant tendrils then extended from the ceiling and hoisted Jimmy up in the air as he looked down on the duplicate Omni-Team.
"Guilty as charged," the duplicate Jen said. "We're perfect copies of them. Right down to their DNA and memories."
"But we're better than the originals," the duplicate Ally said. "Which were lame."
"We're in complete harmony" the duplicate Becky said. "We share one mind."
"Soon there will be no war," the duplicate Ben said.
"No disease," the duplicate Gwen said. "No hunger."
"No fun," the duplicate Kevin said.
"The world will be one giant garden," the duplicate Jen said. "And everything will be in perfect harmony."
The duplicate Omni-Team turned to the monster and nodded.
"Yes, master," they said in perfect unison.
"The biggest story of my life and nobody to report it to."
Then, several roots started constricting his torso with a shout.
"No! No! What are you doing?! NO!"
As the roots constricted the young reporter, the peanuts from the mall popped out of Jimmy's bag, which somehow caused the roots to move back from them as the roots around Jimmy began to rot.
"No way," Jimmy said, pulling a bag of peanuts out of his bag. "What's the matter? Allergic to peanuts?"
Jimmy tore the bag open with his mouth and the peanuts went flying, causing the plant's roots to melt around him as he fell to the ground.
"You are, aren't you?" he said as he grabbed two bags and tore them open, tossing their contents onto the twin's pods. "Please work, please!"
Ben and Jen groaned as pods melted around them and they stepped out, walking in a haze.
"Ben, Jen, are you guys alright?"
"We're fine now," Ben said as he and Jen checked their wrists to see that the Ultimatrixes were gone.
"How are we gonna take this thing down without your Ultimatrixes?" Jimmy asked.
"I'm still wondering how they managed to take them in the first place," Jen said.
"This thing made a perfect plant copy of you two, including your DNA," Jimmy said as he tossed more peanuts at the remaining pods, which caused the rest of the Omni-Team to wake up.
"Argh," Gwen groaned. "Why is everything always slimy?"
"I guess we should've taken your story more seriously," Becky said as she stepped out.
"It's okay," Jimmy said. "Lots of great investigation reporters get that."
"Ugh," Kevin said. "I can't believe a salad got the drop on me."
"The humans are free!"
The Omni-Team looked to see their plant doubles approach with threatening glares.
"Destroy them!" the duplicate Becky shouted.
"I'm gonna enjoy this," the duplicate Kevin said, pounding his fist into his hand.
"Not nearly as much as I am," the real Kevin said, absorbing some stone as Ally changed into her Apex outfit and flew forwards to bash her duplicate in the head as her duplicate and the others shot out plant roots as Apex dodged around them and fired her laser vision at them, slicing them off as Lucky Girl dodged around the roots and sliced them with her mana blades.
"They don't have our powers," Becky realized.
"But our doubles have the Ultimatrixes," Ben said.
"Yes, we do," the duplicate Jen said as she and her brother transformed into...
"Helios!" the duplicate shouted in his Metatronian form.
"Chromastone!" the duplicate Jen shouted in her Crystalsapien form.
The two blasted their light and ultraviolet beams forwards as Lucky Girl shielded the team with a forcefield.
"Ben, Jen, you two got to get the Ultimatrixes back!" Huntress shouted.
"Yeah, we'll work on it when we're not getting shot at!" Jen shouted.
"Guys, I have an idea," Jimmy said, popping some peanuts in his mouth.
"Jimmy, stop alien invasion first, snack later!" Ben shouted.
Jimmy said nothing and tossed some peanuts at the duplicate alien forms, causing them to scream out in pain as they fell back and changed back to normal.
"Nice work, kid," Apex said as she and the others ran forwards as Huntress unsheathed her spear and quickly sliced her duplicate's roots off, acting like a living weed whacker as the twins ran forwards as well as their duplicates recovered and tried to activate their Ultimatrixes, only for the twins to grab them.
"I don't think so!" Jen shouted as she grabbed the Ultimatrixes and with a flash of green and pink light, they were back on the twins' wrists as they changed into Swampfire and Coldphase.
"By the way," Swampfire said. "SWAMPFIRE!"
"Coldphase!" the Necrofriggian shouted as she and Ben blasted their ice and fire attacks, which their twins dodged around with their root bodies.
"We can't control it," Swampfire said. "Guess that makes it a weed!"
The twins blasted a combined fire and ice blast that caused their duplicates to scream in agony as they melted to the ground.
Lucky Girl and Huntress sliced down their duplicates arms as they were chopped to pieces along with Kevin and Apex's duplicates, leaving just the bona fide Omni-Team remaining.
"Caesar later, alligator!" Lucky Girl joked as everyone turned to her. "What? Like Caesar salad, cause they're plants."
"Where's the alligator come in?" Kevin asked, no one noticing the roots from the destroyed duplicates squirming away.
"What?! It's part of the expression!"
"Everyone knows that," Huntress said.
"Uh, guys? My reporter gut's telling me this isn't quite over."
Everyone turned to the giant plant alien as Apex flew up and clashed her fists together as the plant turned around and opened the giant bud on its head, revealing it to be a giant gaping maw that roared at our heroes, blowing all thier hair back.
"The actual alien plant queen itself," Swampfire said. "Totally forgot about it."
"Major brain fart on our part," Coldphase said.
Everyone turned around and rushed out of the cave as the plant queen charged after them, slamming its roots against the cave walls.
"One against seven," Lucky Girl said. "Well, it's clearly not a chicken salad."
"Okay, stop, babe," Kevin said. "I can't let a battle pun be the last thing I hear."
The group finally made it out of the cave, followed by the alien plant creature that squeezed out of the mouth of the cave and roared savagely as our heroes glared out at it, ready for battle.
The creature shot a tendril at Jimmy, who leaped away to avoid it as the tendril was burned away by Swampfire.
"Jimmy, get out of here!" he shouted as he was slammed away as Apex glared.
"That's it! We're totally going weed whacker on this thing!"
Jimmy ran into the distance as the battle unfolded as Kevin morphed his arms into blades and ran forwards as Lucky Girl changed into her Anodite form as she and Apex flew overhead with a shout as they pelted the creature with their lasers.
Lucky Girl looked to see her boyfriend slamming and slicing away at the plant as she groaned.
"Kevin, get back! You're too close!"
Indeed, the creature wrapped a tendril around Kevin's leg, dragging him back as Coldphase flew overhead and froze the tendril, allowing Huntress to drop in and slice it off as the remaining heroes all flew around, blasting away as Swampfire struggled to aim at the creature.
"I can't take the shot, guys! You're in the way!"
That was the point where Lucky Girl was knocked out by the creature's tendril hitting her head and lifting her in the air.
Swampfire and Coldphase rushed forwards with their powers at the ready, only for the creature to ready its maw as it let loose a ton of powerful sludge that completely caused the pair to be swept away in the gunk, which hardened around them as the creature lifted the rest of the team into the air.
Jimmy then ran forwards from his hiding spot, not wanting to be left out this time.
"Can't move!" Coldphase shouted as she and her brother were also hoisted into the air as the creature held the twins over its maw, ready to drop them in.
"I'll save you!" Jimmy called, catching their attention.
"Jimmy, no!" Swampfire shouted.
Jimmy leaped off of the cliff above the plant alien and shouted out as he tossed his backpack full of peanuts into its open maw and then slid down its tendrils to the ground.
The creature's motions then suddenly stopped as the Omni-Twins were dropped to the ground as it let out a low growl as the twins turned to each other.
"Time to step it up a notch," Coldphase said as she and her brother slapped their Ultimatrix symbols to become.
"Ultimate Swampfire!"
"Ultimate Coldphase!"
The pair avoided the tendrils as Ultimate Swampfire tossed his seed bombs at the remainder of the team, freeing them as Coldphase let out her powerful ice fire to freeze several of the tendrils before slamming into them with her strength.
"Clear out!" Ultimate Swampfire shouted. "It's gonna be hot!"
Apex grabbed Huntress and Kevin and flew off along with Lucky Girl.
Ultimate Coldphase flew her and her brother to the plant creature's maw and both pried it open before letting their powerful flames into it as Ultimate Swampfire tossed one last seed grenade into it before both hit the dirt as the creature went up in a fiery explosion.
"And that is that," Jen said as she and her brother transformed back to human form.
"Ugh," Jimmy groaned. "I didn't get to video any of this! Stupid, Jimmy, stupid! Who's gonna believe me now?"
"We will," Ben said as the Omni-Team surrounded him.
"You saved us, Jimmy," Becky smiled.
"You're a real reporter," Jen said.
"Yeah. From now on, we'll know to take you seriously," Gwen said.
"No matter how nutty you may sound," Kevin said.
"Heh, nutty," Ally said. "I see what you did there."
Everyone let out a chuckle as Gwen sighed.
"Really? Why is it funny when he does it?"
"I think it's the delivery," Ben suggested.
