At Bellwood Senior Village, a retirement home in Bellwood, the receptionist was boredly playing Solitaire at the front desk when the phone rang and he picked it up with a groan.
"Bellwood Senior Village, may I-" he said before trailing off. "Oh, hello, Doctor. Yeah, it's been quiet all night. The residents are all in bed except for old George."
The camera panned to a decrepit old man in a wheelchair as he sat by the television watching a knight movie and fiddling with a coin between his fingers.
"That's the only name we have for him. I don't know, he's been here ever since the place opened back in the 70's. Yeah, he's ancient. Bet he's got some stories, huh?"
Elsewhere, underground, two Forever Knights and a squire named Sir Winston, who were being led by Forever King Reginald, were in front of a large stone door bearing the crest of the Forever Knights and had wheeled in a large mechanism with a drill-shaped laser at the head, much to the squire's concern.
"I'm not sure you should do that," Winston said.
"I found it, Squire, and I'm going to open it," Reginald countered, looking over the data on his computer pad.
"Whatever it is."
"It bears the seal of the Forever Knights. You yourself told me it's nearly two thousand years old. I'm wagering it's an ancient cache of alien weapons."
"That would make Sir Cyrus happy."
"Reason enough to proceed. Now stand back."
Winston nodded and got out of the path of the laser as Reginald and his accomplice put on their protective goggles as the Forever King took the controls of the laser and fired it up, causing the mechanism to charge up and fire a red laser, burning through the large stone door. But as the door was split, a bright golden light started to shine from behind it, eliciting concern from the young squire.
"Stop! Something's going wrong!"
Winston ran away, briefly tripping as the laser finished splitting the door in half.
Back at the Senior Village, George immediately sensed what was going on and stood up in concern and looked at the coin in his hand, which also bore the symbol of the Forever Knights. He then, without warning, got out of his wheelchair and started moving towards the door, catching the attention of the receptionist, who stood up from his Solitaire game to see the old man had disappeared.
"George?" he asked as he looked to see the door briefly close again, indicating that George had left.
While all this was going on, the Omni-Team had just arrived at a crater as they exited their vehicles as they looked on at the site below them.
"Did we really have to come here at three in the morning?" Ben asked.
"Uh huh," Jen said. "Grandma Verdona woke us up early because she felt a massive surge in the mana field. I thought we should check it out."
"I'm surprised your parents are letting you bring Emma along," Becky said. "Didn't you say she would've scolded you guys about pulling all nighters?"
"Their mom's not like our mom, sis," Gwen said. "She loves Grandma Verdona. She'd be willing to do anything for her, just like her own kids. Besides, Emma's already done stuff worse than this like helping prepare her brother and sister for their Conqueror's Challenge and stowing away on the Rust Bucket III."
"Good point," Jen admitted. "But this is two favors you owe us now because we and Scarlett let you gave you a chance to save Kevin."
"You got it," Ally nodded.
"You're not driving us down?" Emma asked.
"It's way safer if we go down on foot, sis," Jen said.
"Besides, the gravel will chip my paint," Kevin said.
"We're setting the hero bar kind of low tonight," Becky said as they all started hiking down the mountainous as they changed into their hero outfits before making their way to the stone door that had the crest of the Forever Knights and they looked through the cave to see the ruins in the area and the dead bodies of Sir Reginald and his crew.
"Oh yeah. That's a mana ripple right there," Ben said.
"Forever Knights threw a party," Apex said, picking up a helmet.
The twins looked up and saw the crack on the door and then looked to see a path cut into the dirt that led out of the cavern.
"With an uninvited guest," Ben said.
"A friend of yours, no doubt," Cyrus said, stepping up with Winston and the other Knights.
"Hey, it must be Monty Python week," Huntress said with a chuckle.
"So whose faction do you guys serve?" Jen asked. "Urien? Patrick? Driscoll?"
"Frauds and apostates, the lot of them! I am Sir Cyrus and my faction is the only one that remains true to our founder, the First Knight."
"Another one?" Emma asked. "Guys, remind me to tell Mom that she has another faction of Knights whose butts we can kick after we get our beauty sleep."
"What tried to break into your vault?" Jen asked.
"To the best of our knowledge, you did," Cyrus said.
"Um, sire, actually-" Winston said, before getting cut off by Cyrus.
"You are not given permission to speak right now, Squire Winston. Your king speaks.
"You think we did this?" Lucky Girl asked.
"Two of my men are missing and you're here. Now you're going to tell us where you took them, even if it's with your last breath."
The Knights then opened fire on our faithful heroes, only for Jen and Lucky Girl to get in the way as they blocked the blasts with their mana shields and Jen pushed it forwards, sending the two generic Knights flying as one of their helmets flew into Kevin's hands as he absorbed the metal and ran forwards, shrugging off the laser blasts of another knight before hoisting him up by the collar.
"You're wasting your ammo, dude. I'm wearing your armor," Kevin deadpanned.
Huntress dodged all of the laser blasts with some well placed shots before she quickly disarmed her Knights with her spear and tripped them up before nailing them with a powerful kick before landing gracefully as Apex flew above her and rained down her laser eyes with a shout, sending her Knights flying with no effort.
"Right, nobody move or the changelings suffer," Cyrus said, pointing at three very deadpanned siblings. "Raise your hands above your head."
"If you say so," Ben said cheekily as he and Jen slammed down on their Ultimatirxes to transform into...
"Humungousaur!"
"Hairicane!"
"Stay back!" Cyrus ordered, only for Hairicane to quickly disarm him and then hoist him by his feet with a hair tendril with a shake of her head.
"Dude, it's the imddle of the night, I haven't gotten my beauty sleep and you are really annoying us!" Hairicane shouted.
"Hold your fire!" Cyrus said as the soldiers stopped firing as the heroes all touched down as Hairicane set Cyrus down as she and Jen transformed back and the latter handed the present Forever King his weapon back.
"We have a situation here," Emma said. "Which, by the way, you caused."
"If you wanna help fix it, great. If not, stay our of our way," Ben nodded.
"Sir, if I may be so bold," Winston said, stepping up. "The Omni-Team didn't cause the accident. It was Sir Reginald. He tried to open it with that laser drill over there and there was an explosion."
"Then for now, we shall call a truce."
"Who made that thing?" Huntress asked, gesturing to the door.
"The First Knight forged the Sacred Seal seventeen centuries ago," Winston explained. "As to why, well, I was trying to translate the inscription, but I didn't finish in time before Sir Reginald damaged it."
"Maybe my cousins and I can help?" Lucky Girl suggested. "I'm Gwen, you already know the twins Ben and Jen and this is their little sister Emma."
"Winston, Sir Reginald's squire. I mean, I was before he was killed. You know Jen, me and my people never thought you would ever induct a small child into the Omni-Team."
"And we didn't think we'd see another teenager with the Forever Knights after Sir Patrick and Connor's squire, yet here we are," Jen said. "Emma's not with us on all her missions, but she is incredibly brave, smart and strong for someone her age."
"Which proves the old saying that it's not smart to underestimate anyone."
"So what happened here?" Apex asked the former squire.
"Perhaps the laser struck an explosive on the other side of the seal?"
"That tracks," Ben said as he and Jen inspected the crack. "Looks like it tracks from the inside."
"So the explosion took out my knights," Cyrus said. "Is that what happened, Squire?"
"I'm not sure. When the energy began to build up, I ran, sire."
"Guess we're setting the hero bar kind of low tonight, huh?" Kevin asked, only to be heavily jabbed by his girlfriend.
"You're telling us that even though there's a giant Forever Knights symbol right on the front of it, you don't know what it is?" Jen asked.
"Any records have long since lost to time."
"Sir Reginald thought it was a weapons cache filled with stolen alien technology."
Emma walked forwards as her eyes and hands glowed pink as she scanned the door and then shook her head as she dropped ehr mana.
"I don't think this is about technology at all," Emma said. "That seal's infused with magic."
"Preposterous!" Cyrus exclaimed. "A Forever Knight would never have anything to do with magic!"
"Well, one of them did," Jen said as she and Gwen also scanned the seal just to be sure, which only confirmed what the youngest of the group said.
Soon, one of Cyrus' Knights walked up and whispered into his king's ear on current events in the city, causing Cyrus to nod.
"Police have reported several locals have gone missing after a blinding light."
"Let's go check it out," Ben said as Lucky Girl hesitated.
"Maybe I should stay here with Winston," she suggested. "Try to translate those inscriptions?"
"Not a good idea," Apex said. "If this thing is as dangerous as I think it is, we're gonna need all our firepower."
"The dangerous bright light? Maybe we should call in Aunt Sandra or the Plumbers' Helpers for help?"
"Come on, Gwen," Jen said. "Kevin has a point. And I'm not sure Mom will let us ask her or the Plumbers' Helpers for help this late at night."
"Then we'll all hunt together," Cyrus said.
Later on, the Omni-Team drove through Bellwood in separate areas to widen their search group as they each followed a Forever Knight on his hover-cycle.
"That was so rude!" Gwen scolded Kevin as she sat in the passenger seat of his car.
"Me? Rude?" Kevin asked. "To who? Squire Whiffle?"
"His name is Winston!"
"I can't bother to remember. He's not important enough."
"Mm-hmm," Becky smirked from the DX-Mark 10 over the communications channel. "Jealous?"
"Of what? His dumb name, his dumb accent or his dumb dress?"
"It's a tunic!" Gwen shouted.
Jen rolled her eyes in the Pink Angel before her eyes widened as she noticed the Knights coming into a clearing.
"Why are they stopping?" she asked before pulling over as the rest of the team met up with the rest of the search party.
Everyone exited their vehicles and met up in the alleyway as the others changed into their hero outfits as they glared over at the alleyway.
"We detected an alien life form here," Cyrus said as the twins checked their gauntlets to see nothing going off.
"Huh. Our Ultimatrixes aren't interested," Ben said.
"Weird," Emma said with a nod.
The Omni-Team let the Forever Knights go first and then everyone's jaws collectively dropped at the wicked creature before them: a quadrupedal alien with a greyish teal gelatinous bodies. Their faces consist mostly of red, teeth-like markings in a circle. They can extend out of the sides of their head pairs of tentacles with red tips. The creature currently had its tendrils touching the temples of an unconscious victim.
"Okay, we haven't beaten anybody up in about twenty minutes," Jen said with a glare. "If you don't let go of that policeman now, that's gonna change."
The creature roared at our faithful heroes as Cyrus glared at him.
"FIRE!"
"NO!" the twins shouted in horror.
The Forever Knights opened fire on the alien, only for Emma and Lucky Girl to block them with a mana shield as the twins prepared their Ultimatrixes and transformed into...
"Swampfire!"
"Discharge!"
Swampfire then tossed his seeds outwards, which sprouted several strong vines that pulled the Knight's laser lances into the ground, disarming them as Discharge zipped over to them and shouted out as she generated powerful electric cuffs that restrained them as she and her brother glared over at Cyrus.
"Look, when we say no, we mean no!" Discharge shouted.
"You could've killed that guy!" Huntress shouted.
"He's as good as dead already," Cyrus said.
Emma then steeled her breath and ran forwards to the creature, dodging every red energy blast and blocking them with her mana shields before she pelted it with two mana bolts and then grabbed the policeman it was connected to.
"Come on! We-"
"A fresh mind for the feast," the policeman said in a zombie-like trance with his eyes glowing an eerie green as he reached towards Emma, causing her to scream in terror as Apex flew in and got her out of harm's way.
Lucky Girl flew in with a shout and a blast of mana flames as the creature shrugged it off shot its tendrils forwards and connected them to her temples, causing her to scream in agony before her eyes glowed with the same green.
"How may I serve the great one?" Lucky Girl asked in a zombie-like trance, much to the rest of the team's horror.
Huntress shouted out as she leaped up and fired several arrows outwards that blasted into the creature as Kevin absorbed the metal from a dumpster and started pounding the hell out of the creature that possessed his girlfriend.
"Yo, freakshow! Let her go!"
The pounding along with a stab from Huntress' spear caused the creature to let Lucky Girl and the policeman go as it stumbled back and it roared in rage at the heroes.
"Don't let it touch you," Lucky Girl said.
The creature sent two tendrils out that Kevin ducked and dodged before they snaked back around and attached themselves to her temples, but the creature roared out in pain, unable to control Kevin thanks to his metal armor before it was then pelted by several fireballs and lightning blasts.
Swampfire and Discharge ran/flew forwards and blasted their fireballs and lightning blasts, which the creature avoided by ducking and dodging and even running along the walls with a roar, running the Forever Knights down as Cyrus glared hatefully as the creature ran him into the wall before grabbing Winston escaping into the city with a prisoner in tow.
"Winston!" Ben and Jen shouted, transforming back to human form.
"This is not gonna go over well," Jen said as she looked at her enchantlet as Ben nodded.
"Not until our hand is absolutely forced," Ben said as his sister nodded in agreement.
Kevin and Becky held Gwen in their arms as the others walked up to her as the Knights and the policeman regrouped, getting their bearings.
"Are you..." Emma asked.
"Lousy, thanks," Gwen said. "Did you guys notice?"
"That the creepy crawly thing couldn't mind control Kevin?" Ben asked. "Yeah."
"Squire Winston, where are you?" Cyrus asked as the twins stepped forwards and Ben picked up Winston's discarded rucksack.
"He's gone," Jen said. "That creature grabbed him."
"Lucubra," Gwen said. "That's what it calls itself."
"By whatever name, the evil has taken my man," Cyrus said. "And its your fault."
Ben and Jen looked down in shame, knowing that, for once, a Forever Knight was right.
"It was awful," Gwen said as the Omni-Team gathered around the area where their cars were parked. "I could feel it in my head fishing around."
"For what?" Emma asked.
"Kevin's attack broke the connection."
"You're welcome," Kevin told his girlfriend.
"I know, right? I feel like driving my brain through a car wash."
"No trace of the beast," Cyrus said as he and his knights walked up to the Omni-Team. "If you seven hadn't interfered-"
"You'd all be in jail for shooting a cop and the Lucubra would still have your squire," Jen said.
"You don't know that."
"Sure we do," Ben said. "Our way, the innocent policeman goes home to his family tonight and we still have a chance to catch our enemy."
"Which would be a lot easier if we knew about the seal our Knights found."
Cyrus nodded, knowing the team was right as he handed them Winston's rucksack to Gwen
"Here is the squire's rucksack. It contains his notes and the pictures he took."
"We'll do our best," Gwen said.
"I'm sure you will, sorceress."
"While she and Becky do their work, how about you guys search the north side of Bellwood and we'll take the south?" Ally asked.
"If any of us run into the Lucubra, we'll let the others know," Emma said.
"Agreed," Cyrus nodded.
"And none of us make a move until the other ones arrive," Kevin said.
"If my squire is in any danger, I will do whatever needs to be done."
With that, Cyrus and his Knights got onto their hover cycles and took off into the air to search the north side of the city, leaving the Omni-Team to search the south, none of them knowing that the Lucubra was spying on them from an adjacent rooftop with Winston in tow.
Battlefly and Stinkfly flew over Bellwood at fast speeds as they looked on.
"Any luck with your papers, girls?" Battlefly asked.
"Winston's notes are pretty useless," Becky said as she flipped through the notes as she sat in the back of Kevin's car as her sister sat up front. "They're mostly about some First Knight forging that vault seventeen hundred years ago. They're all pretty high on them."
"Unfortunately, Winston couldn't read the runes properly," Gwen said. "He really thought it was full of captured alien technology."
"But it was a monster chamber," Stinkfly said. "This First Knight must have trapped the Lucubra in there."
"And those idiots opened the door and let him out," Ally said as she drove her bike down the road.
Becky took out a picture of the door with the Forever Knights seal determinedly with a nod as she passed it to her sister, who examined the picture contentedly with a glare.
"I don't think it was a vault door. I think it was a magic seal to prevent a demon from crossing between two worlds."
"A demon?" Kevin asked.
"Lucubra is a creature from another dimension," Gwen said.
"Good," Battlefly said. "Then we know where to send him back if we can find him."
"That stuff all belongs to Winston, right?" Kevin asked Gwen and Becky.
"Uh, yeah," Becky said. "So?"
"So maybe Gwen can use her mana to track him?"
"Worth a shot," Gwen said as she used her mana powers to track down Winston... but then a searing pain shot through her skull as she saw through the Lucubra's vision as Sir Reginald and his knights used the laser drill to open the gate and the Lucubra exiting the door to attack and kill Reginald and his Knights.
"Find him, sis?" Becky asked.
"I accidentally connected to the Lucubra."
"You alright?" Kevin asked.
"I'm fine. I think I saw it exit the seal."
"But no Winston?" Emma asked from the sidecar of Ally's bike with a helmet on.
"No. I found him too," Gwen announced. "Intersection of Roeper and Hawthorne. Get there fast."
"On it," Stinkfly said as he and his sister flew to that area of Bellwood. "We'll meet you there."
Meanwhile, Cyrus and his Knights flew above the north side of Bellwood as Cyrus looked down at his radar and glared at the blip moving upwards.
"It's changed direction," he said. "And they haven't found the tracking device in Winston's rucksack."
Cyrus glared as he loaded his laser crossbow.
"Right. First, we kill the beast. Then, our truce with Ben and Jen Tennyson comes to an end. As do their lives! I swear in the name of the First Knight, we shall be victorious!"
Kevin and Ally finally met up at the intersection of Roeper and Hawthorne to see an abandoned warehouse and exited their vehicles and walked up to the fence just as Stinkfly and Battlefly dropped down and transformed back to human form.
"I guess we'd better let the Knights know where we are," Emma suggested.
"Seriously?" a distrusting Ally asked.
"Well, we did promise we would," Jen said, pulling out her phone.
"Yeah, but you didn't say when," Kevin said.
"Good point," Ben said. "We'll call them after it's all over."
"You guys should be in politics," Gwen said with a snarky tone as she broke the lock to the gate with her mana vision, allowing the Omni-Team to walk through and brace themselves against the warehouse wall.
"There's never a way in when you need one," Jen said as she and the others suited up.
"I can fix that," Kevin said, absorbing the garage door's metal and enlargening his fist.
"Can we not go to the postal option for once?" Emma asked as she created a few mana platforms, causing Jen and Gwen to get the idea as they created several mana platforms up to the roof of the warehouse and the Omni-Team all ran up the mana staircase and they looked through a window to see the Lucubra possessing Winston, Sir Reginald's two Knights and the policeman from earlier.
"That is so wrong," Ally said, shaking her head.
"Let's get in there. Gwen?" Becky said, turning to her sister, who was, unfortunately, back under the Lucubra's control. "Gwen!"
Becky shook Gwen where she stood as the Anodite hybrid's eyes rolled to the back of her head and she fell unconscious.
"Uh-oh," Kevin said as the mana staircase disappeared and all of the heroes who couldn't fly fell to the ground as Jen and Emma caught themselves on their own mana platforms while Ally hovered in the air above them.
Luckily, Ben transformed into Goop at the last minute and splashed to the ground as Gwen, Kevin and Becky fell safely on top of him before he slithered back and changed back to normal.
Kevin took his girlfriend's shoulders and gave her a concerned look. "You okay, Gwen?"
"Of course she's not okay," Ben said as his sisters and Ally lowered themselves down to their level. "She's not complaining about hos disgusting Goop is."
"The Lucubra... in my head again," Gwen said, clutching her temples in pain. "It feeds on people's thoughts."
"I got some thoughts for it right here," Ally said, cracking her knuckles.
"It wants energy from the parietal lobe. The part of the brain you use when you pray or meditate."
"So you bliss out and it has lunch on your thoughts while you're doing it?" Becky asked.
"Until there's nothing left."
"We have to save those people," a determined Jen said.
"You got it. But Gwen stays out of it," Becky said.
"Rebecca Noel Tennyson!" Gwen asked. "You of all people should know that I can hold my own."
"Of course you can," Becky said. "But that thing got its hooks into you twice today."
"And I shook it off!"
"But what if next time, you can't?" Kevin asked. "What if it's three strikes and you're out?"
"I'll be okay, guys."
"Listen, Gwen," Jen said. "We can't afford to lose you."
"How about you go around back, Gwen?" Ben asked. "If you get into trouble, and only if, then you can jump in. Becky, you go with her."
Gwen gave a satisfied nod and then walked off and turned the corner with her sister by her side as the others looked on as they changed into their hero suits with a push of a button.
"I still don't feel comfortable with her tagging along with this thing's influence still having a hold on her," Ally said as her brother absorbed the metal from the garage door.
"Neither do we," Jen said. "That's why we're getting this done fast."
The twins then slammed down their Ultimatrix cores and transformed into...
"Armodrillo!"
"Swiss Miss!"
Armodrillo then activated his jackhammer arms and then slammed into the warehouse as Ally activated her watch and changed into her Apex suit with a glare.
The Lucubra took notice of this and retracted his tentacles and commanded his victims to go over and attack the heroes.
"Guys, don't hurt them," Swiss Miss said.
"They started it!" Apex shouted as she flew above the zombie horde of four as the others pushed them back as Lucky Girl and Huntress
"Come on, people, back off!" Emma shouted. "We don't want to hurt you!"
"To be honest, we're considering it," Kevin said.
"Okay, I'm done waiting," Lucky Girl said as Huntress sighed and took a device from her belt as she pressed a button to activate her spear before she twirled it a bit.
"So are we."
The two sisters turned to see Cyrus approach with a glare.
"Let them weaken the creature. Then, we can attack in force."
"We're going to help our family," Huntress said.
"You'll have to go through us first."
"I was hoping you'd say that," Lucky Girl said with a sinister smile.
The wall immediately caved in as the Forever Knights burst through as Lucky Girl lowered her energy as Huntress smirked as she twirled her spear as the Lucubra turned to them with a growl.
"Gwen, Becky, get out of here!" Kevin shouted, shoving the Lucubra's victims away before they tackled him.
The Lucubra roared out and Lucky Girl fell under his spell once again as the twins slammed their Omnitrix symbols and transformed into...
"NRG!"
"Herofire!"
"Hey, Lucubra, you hungry?!" NRG asked. "How about a taste of THIS!"
The twins then fired their beams of radiation and star energy straightly at the beast, sending it stumbling backwards and breaking its control over their cousin, who fell into Huntress' arms. The Lucubra growled as it pounced onto the Pyrpiatosian-B and started to scratch and claw, but failed to do so do to his containment suit.
"Ben?" Apex asked as she sent the zombies flying with the weakest punches she could muster with her massive strength.
"No, I'm good," NRG said, tossing the Lucubra off of him.
"Just like Kevin was when he was wrapped in metal," Herofire realized.
Thinking quickly, Kevin spread some of his armor onto Gwen, giving her a helmet that protected her from the Lucubra's mind control.
"Tin foil hat. Keeps them from controlling your mind."
"Guys, we need a hole. A deep one!" Lucky Girl called.
"We're on it!" NRG said as he climbed onto some crates and blasted his radioactive energy blast as Herofire blasted her star energy blasts that hit the Lucubra, sending it barreling down into the earth's crust in a giant crater.
"How's that, cuz?" Herofire asked with a smirk.
"Perfect!" Lucky Girl shouted as she used her magic and created a giant seal identical to the one the Forever Knights broke into in the cavern and set it down right on top of the hole, sealing the Lucubra inside and leaving no indentation that it was even there at all.
The Lucubra's control being cut off caused its victims to fall to the ground, unconscious.
"Nice!" Emma cheered as she high-fived her cousin with a smile. "We win!"
Kevin opened one of the unconscious Knight's eyelids to check his status.
"They're okay," Kevin said as everyone recovered and shakily got to their feet and the team ran up to help.
"Steady there, squire," Becky said.
"I... I tried to fight it," Winston said. "Its control was too strong."
"Well good for you," Kevin said. "Now go buy yourself a cookie."
"We Brits call them biscuits."
"Squire Winston, step away from the alien scum," Cyrus ordered.
"Wait... I think he's talking about us!" Ben realized as the Knights stepped away from them.
"After all we've done for each other," Ally said, rolling her eyes.
"Did you destroy the beast?" Cyrus asked Gwen.
"I sent it back where it came from," Gwen said.
"Got a problem with that, punk?" Jen asked.
"...No. For now, our work is done. And our truce remains enforced."
"Yeah, except for that part out back where you ambushed us."
"A minor misunderstanding," Cyrus assured. "Nevertheless, take heed. When we next meet-"
"Yeah, yeah, we'll know your righteous vengeance," Ben sighed. "Can we call it a night?"
"We could all use some sleep right now," Jen yawned.
Cyrus nodded and ordered his knights to follow him out of the warehouse as Gwen smirked to her boyfriend, who gave out a groan.
"Okay, he's cute. I get it."
Once they were out of sight of the Omni-Team, Cyrus grabbed Winston by the coat with a serious look.
"Squire, you are not to fraternize with the enemy."
"But sire-" Winston began, but was cut off by his king.
"Heed me well. They may look like us, but they are alien spawn and they will contaminate you. Is that clear?"
"Yes, my liege."
The Knights gave a nod as they all walked off with Winston in the rear. But as they departed, the squire's eyes gave off a familiar eerie glow before he shook it off and followed after them.
But as all this was happening and everyone was going home, Old Man George walked up to the damaged seal, still in his trance-like state and gave out a tired sigh before walking away from it.
