Hey guys! Sorry this chapter took long but as promised I am updating once a month until my other story is finished.

I am also going back to school so I am pretty busy.

But as soon as my other story Dragon Ball Ot is finished I will definitely be adding this week to week again with a few breaks in between.

Gaze into the ABYS

Salem was inside of a room looking over some papers.

It had a diagram along with a language that was unreadable, to mankind today.

"Hmm" She was deep in thought as she was seeking a way to improve it on it further.

Tampering with souls was new territory for her. It was only discovered years ago.

When the Dr. Merlot's mutated Manticore failed to capture Kron she dedicated her time looking for incantations, improving what she had and seeing if she can make herself more powerful.

What she wanted to see if she could force her body to evolve and give off Aura like mankind does today.

She had injected traces of Dust flowing through her, she wanted to fuse with it in order to access it.

But instead, she discovered something else.

When she failed to create a way for her to use Aura, she had been able to place magic on minerals to create a new kind of Dust.

One that traps souls.

The same kind of magic that fuels her curse.

Her body is forced to regenerate and keep her soul from leaving.

It was then she realized this wasn't her own magic, this was the magic of the gods that cursed.

She had found a way to use it for her own benefit.

At first, she thought she had been able to finally remove it to finally release her soul.

But it wasn't to be, while she can access this godly magic, she cannot undo it.

She had wanted that for so long.

And yet, she wasn't disappointed.

While she did want to release her soul, she did find a way to use the magic the gods had cursed her with as a new weapon.

And she looked forward to test it out.

At first, she thought perhaps she can use it on other's bodies, forcing their soul to remain in their bodies, making them immortal.

However, it doesn't seem to work that way, the spell only forced their spirit to linger over their body before they pass away.

Perhaps their Aura interferes that way or mankind today evolved differently than her time.

Either way she realized she could not make others immortal.

Once she tested it on fragments of Dust, she discovered that it attracts the soul of any dying individual into it.

After many tests it yielded results, an equalizer to the Scourge of Anima had been made.

Still there some limitations.

First any new soul that is sealed in these must be nullified by being in contact with Grimm. Preferably powerful Grimm, to rob them of their will and ensure a seamless absorption into the user.

Second, the user must go through long months of pain in order for their bodies to adjust to these souls and Semblances. And even then, there is a risk to how much Aura they receive.

And third, the body can only withstand two more souls within it. Even if all Soul Dust is properly ripened, robbed of their will they can still cause an imbalance within the user. Twisting their organs in an attempt to be properly absorbed.

Kron's ever growing power means that she will have to find a way to correct this flaw.

Perhaps she can cast a spell that fortifies the bodies to accept the absorption properly.

Maybe this is something Merlot can help with his knowledge on genetics.

Then again he's busy with his Hybrids, not to mention she's been researching a way to speed up his desire to create that army he's wanted without searching for corpses to use again.

What should she do, decisions, decisions.

In either case she should make sure that they are doing their jobs.

A Seer floated in front of her and opened its eye.

This showed a man with dark hair and a mustache.

"Arthur, did Dr. Merlot assist you with your project?" When she heard of this project it enticed her since it utilized her Soul Dust in a way she hadn't considered.

"Yes, Your grace." Arthur responded. "And I thank you for entrusting me with the blank Soul Dust, I will have my Android ready."

Salem smiled at that. "You've always done good work doctor, let me know when it starts." She explained to him.

The eye closed and changed to another face.

A large man with black hair and a beard.

"Hazel" Salem greeted. "Are you and Tyrian ready for your mission?"

"Yes" The man responded. "Tyrian and I will get It done, we'll be sure to add more recruits with what you provided."

The witch was delighted to hear that, even with her growing numbers it was only good to gather talent when you can.

Besides she's been wanting to test something new with her Soul Dust.

"Very good, be sure to tell Tyrian I will be disappointed if he acts on his own." It was necessary to keep him in line for important missions.

"Of course," Hazel replied. "Your grace, I am suprise that your having us in Anima instead of retreiving the Fall Maiden for Cinder. Wouldn't it be wiser to do so while the Scourge is in Anima?"

Salem smiled at that.

"Oh my Hazel, I didn't expect that question, I'm happy to see that you wish to assist your junior."

"I only ask to ensure our cause will win." Hazel replied. "Next to Eclipse Cinder is our most powerful ally, wouldn't adding more magic amplify her Semblances even further?"

The witch nodded.

"While it is true with a completed magic, Cinder's power will skyrocket again, however, if she is going to obtain that power, then she will retrieve the Maidens herself." She stated simply. "Her failure in Vale only indicates that she still has a lot to learn."

Power is useless on someone who does not have the will to pursue it.

"And remember only retrieve the corpse and avoid Kron at all cost, understood?"

Without hesitation Hazel bowed to her.

"Yes, your grace."

The eye closed leaving Salem to herself.

While it was closed, she looked at another Seer showing the training Cinder was going through.

She was on her fifth horde of Grimm and shows no signs of slowing down.

Looks like she's adjusting to her new Semblances well.

Like Hazel said she was more powerful than any Soul Dust user so far. What little magic she has amplified all her Aura and her Semblances.

Making her one of the most powerful people on earth.

She's been wanting more of her Dust. She'll make it happen after she's done more research.

For now, she'll have to make sure she stays out away from the Scourge, she won't survive a conflict with him.

Salem smiled at all these things truly were getting interesting.

She wonders how Kron will play a role in this now.

What kind of powers will he display will he show that ape monster again?

The anticipation is staggering to her.

And then there's her beloved Ozma. Just what kind of antics will he pursue to stop her this time.

And wondered if he has anything that can counter her.

She hummed to herself as she looked through her notes seeking the next step to improve her Soul Dust.

XXX

Vale

The city had avoided a tragedy from the White Fang's plans.

Ever since then the people have enjoyed themselves. Roman Torchwich seemed to have vanished and massive Dust robberies had stopped.

A couple weeks had passed and now it was only two weeks until the Vytal Festival.

Sadly, Blake couldn't really relax, she was looking around the city watching everyone enjoying their day.

Yes, the White Fang's plans were thwarted but there was something else that bothered her.

Not every White Fang had been captured, yes Adam, his lieutenant and a lot of his men were in prison.

As sad as it was, it was for the best. They had lost their way and that maybe the only way to put some sense into them.

She had been looking for any of them she had known. But she couldn't find any, she had hoped that they would not return to try an attempt to carry on with Adam's plans.

Yang has told her to relax, she and her team had become probably the strongest Beacon Academy students thanks to Ki training, and Ozpin had assured her that there has been no activity from the Fang or even Roman ever since that night.

When Kron had turned into… that.

She remembered the gigantic monster with eyes as red as any Grimm but with no mask.

There was one thing she can do to find out anything.

She rose her scroll and pressed a button with hesitance.

"Blake?" A kind voice said from the scroll.

"Hi dad." Blake said to him kindly. "Is everything ok over there?"

"I'm happy to hear from you, and yes, I'm getting back into the swing of things." He said to her. "And you."

"Yeah" Blake said smiling. "But dad, I'm wondering, did anyone from the Vale branch go back to Menagerie, or to one of the hideouts in Anima?"

She hoped that all did go back.

"Some of them had gone back home, though they did receive time for willingly trying to help Adam." He explained. "But no not everyone, there are still others missing. Dozens in fact." He admitted.

Blake felt disheartened hearing that, so a good number are still around.

"Dad, do you think that there going to try something in the Vytal Festival?"

"No" Ghira replied as if he knew that for a fact. "I sent a good number of trackers, none of them were ever loyal to Adam, but they couldn't find a trace of them." He said to them. "They maybe on the run, hoping to escape retribution."

That would be the least dangerous possibility. But she felt relieved that there wasn't going to be an attempt to carry out the Fall of Beacon.

"Dad, do you have any idea what happened to them?" She asked hoping to be sure.

"I don't, but please Blake, with Adam captured, they do not have the morale or the numbers cause harm." Ghira tried to reason. "Try not to fret, I am looking into their disappearances, I will find out what happened to them and I will call you first thing. Ok?"

Her father wanted her to enjoy her time for once now that the White Fang are no longer a threat to anyone. They were stopped before they could do anything horrible.

And he wasn't wrong. All the big heads of Vale's branch of the White Fang were captured and are rendered unable to harm anyone.

Not to mention Ozpin is keeping a closer eye on everything making sure that everything goes well.

"Ok dad, thank you." Blake said to him.

"You're welcome, I hope you will visit us again after the festival."

"I will." Blake promised with a smile. "But any word about Kron?"

She knew that wherever he was it was in Anima.

"There have been sightings of him." Ghira admitted. "But he's always in different parts of Anima, and he hasn't seen your mother since four months ago."

Blake felt bothered by that, he really did not want to be found.

She was happy that in the end Kron had gone to see her mother. And from what she told her, he made amends with her after he had insisted that he would never see her.

Still, she had wished that he'd bother to see her at least once before taking off.

She did make him promise to see her soon. But what does soon mean to Kron.

"Ok dad" Blake replied. "Thank you, can't wait to see you on break."

"And I you Blake." Ghira said. "I love you"

"Love you to." The Cat Faunus replied and turned off her scroll.

Blake was glad to know that her father is making sure that everything is going to be ok.

But she couldn't rest until she figured out where they are.

And there's only one person that would know anything about where they are.

Hopefully he was willing to let her visit him, unlike the last few months.

XXX

Kron is eating a huge plate of food. While he does, he gets stares from others not that he cared he was enjoying his meal.

While he was eating a waitress walked up to him.

"Excuse me"

Kron looked up to see a woman with long purple hair, with food still feeling his cheeks.

Her eyebrow twitched at the sight. How can a man look at a lady with a face like that?

"Would you like anything else?" She asked while playing with her hair.

"No" Kron grunted as he swallowed his food. "And back off, you keep bothering me while I'm eating."

She felt surprised hearing that but kept her cool. "Yes sir, forgive me." She walked away and as she did Kron would devour her food and she had an angry look on her face.

The woman walked to the back where she worked.

"You, ok? You were just hired and you already seem to have-"

"Shut it." The woman said to her 'co-worker' and sat while staring at Kron's table.

She hadn't been able to get his attention, in fact all she's done is annoyed him.

'Silk, everything alright.'

Silk heard her leader's voice and put a hand to her ear piece. "Yes, he doesn't suspect a thing." The only woman of Team ABYS had been sent to watch the target and figure out his daily routine.

Would be even better if she had seduced him like she had so many men AND women.

"Can't you see through these camera eye contacts?" She asked very quietly.

"I like to confirm that you aren't compromised."

She said nothing while watching Kron eat his food in a disgusting fashion.

The woman has tried being cute, giving subtle glances, and adjusting her hair. All signs that she was inviting his attention.

Time for a different approach.

Kron had finished his food and looked to see the waitress that had bothered him.

"Check" he said to her wanting to leave.

Silk smiled as she offered. "It's on me this time." She said to him.

Kron looked up at her. "Why?"

"Hm well" She placed a hand on his wrist.

Kron wasn't phase and only seemed annoyed at the touch.

"How about you pay me back by meeting me sometime?" She asked as she got closer to his face.

Still nothing just an annoyed expression like he wanted this interaction over.

But she's sure that he's just hiding what he feels for her, no man can handle her charms.

Silk took her hand off of him and wrote her scroll number and put it in Kron's hand.

Kron looked at the napkin and at her.

"Call me tonight?' Silk asked while making sure her bosom was in view, her long hair swaying, she used this trick plenty of times no man had ever res-

Kron wiped his face with the napkin with her scroll number.

That made Silk freeze unable to respond to what he did.

The 'Monkey Faunus' then put the used napkin on the table.

And to add insult to injury he brought up a stack of lien.

"I usually pay this much, if it's too much keep the change, not that you deserve the tip." He said to her. "I rather just pay then have to talk to you again."

Silk's eye twitch, this always worked on all her targets, and this brat didn't

"Oh right, and don't bother people so much when their eating, people come to eat not to talk." He scolded her.

She was trying with all her might not to try to gauge his eye.

"Next time I come back, don't wait on my table." Kron walked away and muttered just barely loud enough for her to hear. "Can't get good help these days."

Silk stood there for a few seconds eyeing the used napkin that had her digits covered in sauce from whatever he ate.

"Um excuse me" The manager of the restaurant walked beside her. "Do you mind? You just started today can you-"

Silk just tossed her name tag and apron at him while walking away, with him confused at what had happened.

"You were unsuccessful." Amaranth pointed out. "Come back now."

She sighed angry at these camera lenses, fighting the urge to take them off. If she does, the professor might feel the need to flip the switch on her bomb.

Oh well, at least only Amaranth looked at it.

XXX

"Hahahahaha!" The large man with orange hair laughed so loudly.

While the short man with black hair looked away while blushing with embarrassment, not for himself but for her.

Silk came back to the hideout seeing that her other teammates had seen what she found out.

"Amaranth!" Silk yelled while looking at her leader. "You told them what happened?"

"No" He responded. "We all have access to these special contacts they gave us, they chose to watch what was happening from your eyes."

Silk squeezed her fists and glared at Bisque was laughing away.

"Oh!" He slowed down. "That was embarrassing, d-didn't you seduce all your targets before you killed them, what happened there, you getting old? Don't feel so bad, he must have saw your wrinkles!"

"Shut it!" Silk yelled, "That boy has to swing the other way! There's no way he could have resisted me!"

Bisque grinned while looking down at her.

"You bragged about flipping a couple of your targets! Clearly this means you let yourself go while in prison."

She pulled out a jagged dagger aiming at his throat.

"Shut up or I will pull your tongue out your throat."

"Enough" Amaranth interrupted and looked at the group. "Keep calm, now, unless you want our bombs to detonate."

Bisque and Silk stopped but still glared at each other.

"Silk" He continued. "Did you do your part at least?"

She seemed to have calmed down and responded. "Yes, I placed the tracker in different parts of his clothing without him noticing."

Amaranth looked at his scroll and sees a dot heading in a direction at high speed. No doubt the Scourge of Anima.

"Excellent work with this we'll know where he is at all times." He replied. "So long as he doesn't find these devices.

"He won't." Silk responded. "I put multiple in different parts of his clothing while up close."

"Not close enough." Bisque responded with a grin much to her annoyance.

"Good" Amaranth put his scroll down. "Now, Rockshow has agreed to speak with me so I will be discussing with him, keep an eye on your scrolls, I wouldn't want him to shake off the trackers."

"Wait" Bisque interrupted. "We have his locations, why not just find where he is and kill him when he's off guard."

The red head looked at the orange haired warrior.

"You heard Yosef, we lack the resources necessary to attempt this." Amaranth responded. "I have a plan that may work, if we try anything as we are then we are going to die, you do want him dead don't you? Are you willing to die to make that happen."

Bisque grunted glaring down at their team leader.

"You can't reason with Rockshow, the man's a lunatic, he won't give you whatever your thinking of."

The red head shrugged.

"Rockshow is eccentric, but the man can afford to negotiate." He replied. "Now if you excuse me, please wait here while I speak to him in private." The leader than glanced at Yosef and Silk. "Let's all try to work well together, all of us are essential, remember that."

Silk smiled hearing that while playing with her hair.

Yosef looked at him strangely for a moment before nodding.

Once their leader was gone, they all sat in silence waiting for his response.

Except for one.

Bisque growled as he looked at the time, he was going to get them all killed and the maniac was going to kill them. He looked at his scroll seeing the Scourge's radar.

If he was going to do something it had to be now.

"Let's go." He said to them.

"What?" Yosef asked. "But he said-"

"Shut it, he's going to get us killed, we need to capture the Scourge before he comes back."

"Pfft" Silk looked at him while rolling his eyes. "He's leader for a reason, we have a better chance with him in charge than you."

Bisque glared at her but she was focused on a manicure.

"We should listen to Amaranth." Yosef coward as he was glared at. "I-I know you guys don't get a long, but I mean the guy worked side by side with General Ironwood, they served in the same unit, he was close to the rank of general, don't you think he knows the best way to handle everything?"

"Grr" Bisque wanted to force these two meat shields, but he knows that infighting might motivate Rockshow to detonate their bombs. "Fine, when he get's us killed let you on;y got yourselves to blame."

He slammed the door as he went after him.

It didn't matter to him what happens, he was going to make him pay for what he did.

XXX

Kron was wearing his mask and cloak, training some of the new moves he learned from the Grimm Island he trained. The Alpha's showed him some new attacks to try out.

Finding that island filled with Alpha Grimm was the best thing that happened to him.

He had been sparring with them, making them smarter by constantly forcing them to fight him and they would try and strike him in various ways.

Probably the best way to improve his fighting style. He was learning from an Ursa, Goliath, Beowolf, Boarbatusk, Deathstalkers, and Berringel.

They've made the best teachers he could ask for. Avoiding their strikes forced them to think and learn to fight properly.

And allowing him to learn new ways to strike.

He was practicing on boulders, trees, or Grimm that happen to come by.

The Saiyan had wished he had a real opponent he could test it on, but most huntsmen leave him alone these days and even when they don't their so weak that he'd have to hold back more than he's comfortable with to get a real fight.

He sighed as he performed an axe kick.

Just as he threw a fist a barrage of bullets was heading towards the back of his head.

Though these bullets were small, they created a massive explosion causing a huge pillar of fire.

From a good distance away, a tall man Bisque was standing with two Uzi machine guns, though they weren't used for stealth he was a perfect shot and they each had a suppresser to make it quiet.

Each bullet was explosive filled with fire Dust, no matter who he is he definitely had to be disoriented from that.

"Got you, you little shit!" Bisque chuckled as he pulled his Uzis down and went to reload them. He aimed his machine guns again, waiting for the smoke to vanish or to see his crawling body.

"Nice aim."

Bisque's eyes widened, he didn't turn around, he heard that voice from the video from Silk's contacts.

Kron was standing behind him, unscathed close to him within striking distance.

"So, another huntsman found me huh?" He asked. "I get the need for a sneak attack, but those machine guns aren't very subtle, I heard the sound of their air travel way before I bothered to dodge them."

Immediately Bisque pressed a button on his machine guns, his Uzis folded and bended across his arms forming into sticks longer than Bisque's forearms, with the Uzi's handle remaining in his grip.

Bisque turned and backhanded for Kron's face.

Kron rose an eyebrow at the speed.

The Saiyan chose to jump lean back avoiding the strike.

"A pair of tonfa machine guns." Kron said boredly. "That's new I guess."

Bisque then thrusted his other tonfa forward.

He was faster than most huntsman, even that speedster from the Ace ops. Maybe he can test one of those attacks the Grimm taught him.

Kron then leaned back avoiding it once, again, his hands touched the ground.

Bisque looked down at the peculiar way he dodged him.

Kron then lifted his feet up and slammed them into Bisque's waist.

The brute coughed as he was struck.

The kick was so strong that Kron lifted up the ground and flipped carrying Bisque's body.

The Team ABYS member crashed into the ground with Kron standing on top of him.

Bisque coughed from the strike, his Aura had tanked the attack but it was already in strains from this attack.

Kron looked down at him with his arms crossed. "I learned that from a Berringel, hard to believe I know but they can be more flexible when their alphas." He remembered how Silverback countered him the same way.

Bisque screamed as he aimed his tonfa's at him.

He pulled the trigger, his weapon still in their melee form fired their explosive rounds.

Kron jumped back off the orange haired warriors back and avoiding the shots.

Once he landed he watched as his opponent getting up. "Just so you know I could tank those, but I feel like dodging right now, maybe later I'll give you some free shots." He offered him.

Bisque slammed his hand on the ground in frustration as he stood up he glared down at him.

But of course the Saiyan had felt no cause to worry.

"So" Kron kept a relax stance. "Isn't this the part where you tell me to come quietly and you will make sure the authorities go easy on me? It's the usual thing huntsmen do when they bother trying to capture me.

The larger man was getting enraged and pressed another button on the tonfa's edges, both changed forms again and seemed to wrap around his arms. Spikes were formed at the edges of the stick over his forearms.

"If I did that, I wouldn't get to rip your body piece by piece!" He rose and slammed down his his arm razors and took swings as if warming up before cutting into Kron.

Oh good, he wasn't just a huntsman, he wanted him dead. That makes this more fun.

"Tonfa's with blades." Kron noted. "Ok, that's definitely new."

Bisque screamed as he ran forward ready to put an end to his target. He rose his arms and slammed them down aiming for his shoulders.

Kron leaned back just before his blades could make contact.

The larger man then swung a kick for Kron's side.

The Saiyan could dodge this, but now he was curious how strong he was.

His kick connected and forced Kron's head to the side.

Kron looked surprise at the strike although he was not bothered by the force of it.

Bisque then took advantage of his opening and slammed his tonfas into the 'Monkey Faunus's abdomen.

It sent the Saiyan back, though he was still on his feet.

Behind the mask, Kron's faced was one of astonishment, he hadn't expected a strike that hard.

"Hahahahaha!" Bisque let out a hardy laugh looking at the boy he can tell that he got him by surprise, though perhaps not in the way he believes. "How was that kid? See what your up against? I'm going to enjoy tearing you to pieces!"

Kron glanced back at him wondering if maybe he was a Soul Dust user, he'll find that out if he shows more than one Semblance. Whatever the case he was no normal huntsman.

"Alright, congratulations, I was just hoping for a practice dummy to test out how much my fighting style has improved."

Kron then took on a different stance then usual.

His right fist was risen up to his chin, his left hand forward and his fingers curled like a claw.

"Practice dummy?" Bisque asked. "No! Your my practice dummy brat!" He ran forward ready to beat the boy into the ground.

Kron thought of which move to try, he ran forward ready to try out his new attacks

Bisque rose an arm and swiped across.

But the Saiyan jumped as before the attack could land.

Kron then smashed his feet on the back of Bisque's head.

It forced the large man to stumble forward, he turned around only to see him already up close with his arms spread apart with his fingers curled like claws.

Kron swiped his arms like an 'X' clawing at Bisque's chest.

This forced him to stumble back.

"I learned that move from a beowolf." He smiled thinking of the alpha beowolf he called Widefang.

Once Bisque recovered he aimed his tonfas forward and released a hail of bullets.

Kron then jumped and flipped into a ball over the bullets.

The large man looked up and tried to fire his guns at him.

But before he could the still flipping Kron was just above his head.

He then undid his ball and slammed his head on the top of Bisque's head.

"Learned this from a boarbatusk!"

The brute's head was forced down, he felt a huge pain in the back of his skull like he had been struck by a wrecking ball.

Kron then landed in front of him and swung a fist up Bisque's chin like his Berringel Silverback.

He then rose his other hand up above Bisque's left shoulder, his hand flattened, fingers aimed at his shoulder and swung it down.

His fingers connected with his shoulder and forced his body to telt, his shoulder feeling great pain.

"That one was from when a Deathstalker tried to sting my shoulder." Thankfully his ki protected him by then.

Kron then slammed a kick into Bisque's tilted side forcing him to tilt the other way.

Bisque screamed and struck forward in hopes of striking him.

The Saiyan backflipped, clearly just playing with his opponent.

Bisque then aimed his tonfa's but this time at the area around Kron was standing.

Once they hit the ground it exploded in flames surrounding Kron, the explosion was big enough to force Kron to raise an arm to stand his ground.

Then Bisque jumped above the flames behind Kron.

The Saiyan turned around to see Bisque slamming his arms down.

It struck his head downward.

Then the brute thrusted one tonfa forward into his waist forcing him back.

Bisque then rose his other am up forcing Kron's head up.

The brute then swung his arms across slamming Kron's head between his tonfas.

He grinned looking at the mask, he's sure that his face was contorting in pain.

Of course in reality Kron was grinning, impressed with how he was being struck.

His opponent threw a kick into Kron's stomach again forcing him back, though again he wasn't forced on the ground.

"How did you like that?" Bisque asked believing he has the upper hand.

"Not bad." Kron then crossed his arms not even winded from the combo.

"Huh?" Bisque was confused, he didn't seem at all injured. Wait, of course he's faking it, obviously it's hard to tell with that mask but he was definitely in pain. "Haha, just wait, I got even more in store for you, than those puny attacks you sent me way."

Those attacks were strong enough to knock out ordinary huntsman, so him saying that was impressive. "Alright, just so you know though, I only let you attack me, as compensation for being my practice dummy, and what I've given are just taps so don't get so arrogant."

"Hehehe" Bisque chuckled as he stood up. "I believe you, after all, it wouldn't be right if you were this weak, since you were my replacement."

That confused Kron for a moment.

"Say what?"

The orange haired fighter grinned. "I'm guessing Daim didn't say much about me, can't blame him I guess."

Daim, he's the owner of the Golden Daggers Arena, where Kron had fought for eight years before he started hunting Raven.

"You were a fighter for Daim's arena?" Krona asked.

"Fighter?" Bisque chuckled. "I was his champion, years before you set foot in their kid!"

Kron heard this, so he was the former champion. Daim never mentioned him, he only said that he hadn't had a champion in years before he showed up.

Was he lying? No, not only was he strong, he had decent skill. So it must be true.

This brought a smile to his face.

"Oh, now I know what this is about." He smiled at his fellow champion. "You want to prove that you're the stronger champion, right? Great! I'll make this fight special."

He was going to hold back since it has been a while since he had a theatrical battle.

"No runt." Bisque replied. "That's not why I'm here for you, I'm here for payback!"

That ruined Kron's excitement a bit and confused him.

"Oh ok, payback for what."

The orange haired man didn't talk, instead he pressed a button his tonfa's turned to guns.

"This again? I'll just dodge it again." Kron said boredly.

Bisque then pulled the trigger while curving the fun aiming for him.

And just like he said Kron jumped as the bullets got to where he was.

But to his surprise the bullets were curving going up.

"Oh" Kron was slightly impressed seeing how he curved the bullets.

He was struck the exploding bullets surrounding him.

Bisque then jumped high forward switching to his Tonfa's and slammed them downward aiming to slam him to the ground.

But the Saiyan backed away in midair and threw an uppercut up his chin, he then threw a straight kick in his abdomen. This time a bit harder just testing how durable he is.

And the burly man was knocked down through a few trees.

Kron saw that he was getting up. Maidens would have trouble getting up from that.

He landed on the ground walked towards him as he was getting up.

"Ok, so payback for what?" Kron asked. "I don't recognize you, what exactly did I do to you?" He asked as he stood over where Bisque was laying.

Bisque took a knee and rose his tonfas and aimed his uzi's at Kron's head hoping to land bullets up close and personal.

This time none of them landed, clearly, he was letting his anger get the best of him. Worse than what Yang used to do when she was pissed.

The Saiyan evaded every one of them just to show off some speed.

Bisque didn't seem angry at this but got to his feet.

"You wanna know what you did to me?" He asked.

"Yes" Kron rolled his eyes, he already asked him.

The orange haired man glared at him.

"You… what have you done to the Branwen Tribe?"

That surprised Kron.

"Branwen Tribe?" Kron was confused. "Don't tell me you're a surviving member of that band of cowards, I didn't think there was any left." He put a hand to his chin. "But, you couldn't be, I remember pretty much everyone in the tribe, had to in order to find Raven."

When he mentioned that name he seemed to get angrier.

"Raven Branwen" Bisque brought up. "Did you kill her?"

Kron rose an eyebrow at that. "Why does that matter to you?"

The orange haired man got angrier. "Because she… she my one and only soulmate!"

A few moments passed with no words being uttered.

Kron was confused hearing that and fought not to chuckle.

"Soulmate?" The Saiyan asked. "I'm sorry, Raven Branwen? Leader of the Branwen Tribe? Is your soulmate?"

"Yes! Isn't it obvious! She must have told you about me!" He yelled.

Kron tilted his head, without the mask he was making a strange face, disgusted at what he was hearing.

His opponent growled but sighed and put a hand on his chest.

"Fine, listen my name is Bisque Matholwch." He introduced himself. "Former champion of the Golden Daggers Arena!" He yelled as if it were a reveal. But he can judge from Kron's lack of response that he didn't seem to know. "I know Raven brought you to the arena she must have told you about me?!"

Kron thought back to when he was a kid. He tried racking his brain to think of anytime he heard his name.

Nothing, she never once uttered his name.

"Raven barely told me about her brother, she never mentioned a word about you. She only showed me the arena, she never once uttered your name." He explained honestly.

Bisque glared at him. "No! She must have! I know she would, she must have wondered why we didn't get to see each other for so long." He explained. "I met her fourteen years ago, I killed one of her tribesmen members, then she had defeated me, beautifully."

Kron felt disgusted by his fellow former champion's way of describing how they met. This is getting very uncomfortable for him.

"She offered me to join her tribe, if I succeed in smuggling weapons and dust from Atlas!" He described his crime for him. "I managed to kill dozens of soldiers and a team of huntsmen in order to ensure her men safe passage back to Anima."

He then looked distraught.

"But then! I was captured by that bastard! Ironwood! I would have killed him to! If I didn't get worn out! And have lived a wonderful life with my soulmate! Instead I was locked away on a life sentence!"

Kron while disgusted thought of that story. Fourteen years ago, that was two years before he even came to the planet. That's why he never met him, thank the Legendary Super Saiyan he didn't.

"Look, that's an" He paused thinking of the right word for this. "Interesting story. but she never mentioned you at all, I never heard of this story, I doubt she ever thought of you."

Bisque growled as he stood up and glared at him.

"Liar! Now shut up and just tell me! Where is she, what has had you done with her!"

"Ugh" Kron couldn't help but let out a groan annoyed and grossed out by his obsession with her. But since he was such a Raven sympathizer, he'll have some fun with him.

He had an evil looking smile. "She is alive."

Bisque looked relieved hearing that and almost smiled.

"She better be." He said threateningly at him. "Then where is she?"

"I don't know." Kron said honestly, he wasn't told what Ozpin intended to do with Raven, all he knew was that she wasn't really a threat anymore somewhere locked away

"Don't you lie to me!" He yelled as if he was worried for his lover.

Behind his mask Kron was grinning. "I don't know, but I do know one thing, you would be shocked to see her." He was going to have fun with this. "She lost quite a bit of weight."

Bisque looked confused hearing that. "What is that supposed to mean?"

Oh this was going to be fun for him.

"Just that she lost four, maybe five pounds?" He put a hand to his chin. "I don't know how much does an arm weigh?"

Bisque looked distraught hearing that, he squeezed his fists in rage.

"Y-you took her arm?" Bisque asked. "No! Your lying! You wouldn't have."

"With a smile on my face." Kron confirmed right away. "I don't know what your deal is, not like an old hag would have any use for limbs, she should remain pathetic and bed ridden for the rest of her life!"

And to Kron's delight he got even angrier.

"Old hag?" Bisque gritted his teeth and rose his arm and pointed at him. "Don't call her that!"

Kron didn't seem to question why he moved his arm and just laughed at how angry he was getting.

While he laughed the Bisque all the bullets that he had fired and missed seemed to race towards him from all around him while he was distracted by his laugh.

This time he didn't notice or dodge them, the bullets he that he fired earlier landed.

Bisque laughed loudly. "Got you, you little shit!" He looked at the smoke cloud, each bullet had a bit of his Aura, both to increase their potency and to activate his Semblance.

Bisque's Semblance: Redirect, he is able to change the direction of anything he focuses Aura into, if their either thrown or fired with a weapon as long as he puts his Aura into them he can command them to go in whichever directions he aims at even after they were spent."

"Hopefully there's enough left of you to take with me, with you gone, I'm sure Raven will want to find me and thank me in person." He started daydreaming the so-called love of his life. "I can't wait, she and I will start a new Branwen Tribe, one far better than the last one, maybe even with a few rugrats."

He walked closer to the smoke.

"Gross"

Bisque stopped when he heard that, then a white boot stepped out of it and was shocked to see the Scourge walking out with only dirt on his clothing.

"Can you please" Kron began. "Not talk about your old lady fantasies?" He felt his skin crawl. "Seriously, keep those to yourself, no one wants to hear that."

That seemed to upset him even further.

"I said stop calling her that!" He shoved his tonfa towards his face.

Kron decided to try another of the attacks that the Grimm showed him. He stepped to the side with his left arm out, once the brute had tried to strike, Kron thrusted his arm to the back of Bisque's knees.

This put Bisque off his feet and in the air.

The Saiyan then rose his right arm and palm struck down the center of his chest forcing him down.

Bisque crashed into the ground, his Aura lit up indicating damage.

Kron grinned with his hand pushing into his chest, then he got up and stomped his boot down his chest.

"Gah!" He yelled in pain.

"An Ursa taught me that move." He thought to when the Alpha Ursa he calls Bearserker, used this move on him. "So what do you think? Can you handle a few other moves?"

Bisque seemed to angry to respond to that and just yelled. "I'm going to take both your arms for what you've done to Raven.

Kron grew angry at that.

"Seriously? Ugh, come on, can we please move on from her, at least for a bit." Kron asked. "Seriously, your even worse than Vernal was, at least she figured out what a weak pathetic coward she was."

"You!" He yelled. "You betrayed her! She raised you, trained you, you were the one who stabbed her in the back! I know what happened!"

Kron looked down at him with his hand still keeping him on the ground.

"Actually, she betrayed me first, three times actually." He said with a neutral tone. "Now the first time I'm not too upset about because I was planning to kill her, she was only faster at backstabbing so that was fair."

Bisque glared at him hearing that.

Kron's habit of talking kept him going. "The second time she pretended to save me from a situation she caused, and the third time she" He stopped when he wasn't sure how to explain the Menagerie incident. "Let's just say she thought she could keep tricking me into thinking she was an ally.."

"Liar!" The red haired yelled as he rose his tonfas and tried to strike him.

Kron was hit across his chest and it was enough force to push him off. It didn't hurt him but it was surprising that it was enough to move him. He looked at him a bit better and saw what looked like orange armor under his jacket.

It looked a lot like Sepia's armor.

So advanced that it must be from Atlas. Just like Roman had said.

Well guess the Silver Bullet Brotherhood is after him, that's cute.

And they recruited this idiot? They must really be desperate to take him out.

"Listen" Kron continued. "One thing Raven is good at is deception, she tricks everyone into thinking she's someone who she isn't, how she's strong, pragmatic, ruthless, and is all about her tribe, her 'family'." Kron remembered looking up to her when he was young. "Most of that is true, but really her tribe are just a bunch of meat shields, she's a coward who hides behind anyone who is on her side, she'll stab them in the back to get what she wants."

He then smiled when he thought of something. "That's probably what you were to her actually."

Bisque grew angrier and angrier at this. "Lies! All lies! I have seen Raven, she is an all-powerful warrior who will fight to the end for her tribe, who can do what others do not have the stomach to do to achieve her goals!"

Kron rolled his eyes. Seriously, who knew that the old hag had such a pathetic fanboy. "The fact you believe that shows how good she is at tricking people, she wants you to believe that, hoping and praying you don't see through her bullshit."

"Shut up!" He pressed his tonfa's together forming his machine guns and pulled the trigger.

Kron fired two Ki blasts at the barrels.

It connected with the rockets and they detonated not far from the launcher.

The impact was strong but it only forced Bisque to stagger back, thanks to his Crusader Armor. He opened his eyes and was shocked at the sight.

Kron was right in front of him again, he then threw a straight punch into his face.

The strike was enough to force him to roll and crash through multiple boulders.

Bisque lost a couple teeth, blood was leaking from his mouth and nose.

Kron appeared in front of him again with his arms crossed.

"I don't even know why I bother explaining anything to you." Kron said to him.

Bisque struggled trying to get up, but his Aura reserves were low even with the Crusader Armor helping him.

"I was going to test out more moves on you, but you had to go on and on about Raven." Kron said glaring down at him. "You call yourself a champion? All you are is a pathetic bootlicker of Ravens. No, even worse a wannabe bootlicker of hers."

The brute tried to move but Kron had inflicted enough force to incapacitate him.

"Normally I don't go for the kill, especially with strong opponents." Kron stated as he grabbed Bisque's collar. "But I think I hate Raven's bootlickers more than even her!"

He thrusted his hand forward aiming for his throat.

But just then Kron felt something on his shoulder, a hand had touched his shoulder.

He glowed a pale-yellow color.

Someone had snuck up on him and had touched him.

He was going to turn to look at who.

But instead, he didn't, and strangely he rose his right arm.

"What the-"

Then something fell on the ground, it exploded unleashing a blinding light.

"Ahh!" Kron was forced to close his eyes, the flash bang grenade, his body not wanting to move was too much for him.

He tried to smell where they were. But he couldn't, somehow, they were odorless. Just like Sepia was, they must use whatever she did.

Damn it, he can't open his eyes. And he can't move.

No, he can move, he just can't move the way he wants.

Kron tried to stand up but instead he keeled over.

What is happening right now?!

After a few more moments he felt normal, he managed to stand up and his eyes opened though there was a tint of pink.

"Damn it" Kron said. "There's more than one of them, guess Roman was right." He was more annoyed than upset that he was targeted.

He looked at his hands and closed his fist seeing that he was able to control his body normally. "They also have some neat tricks, wonder if they'll keep pestering, one things for sure if I find that pathetic Raven bootlicker again, he's dead." He had enough of those in his days in the Branwen Tribe.

Kron looked at where he thought they went it didn't sit well with him to let him live. He really wanted to kill him.

Yosef sighed as he and Silk managed to get pretty far from Kron.

"See?" Silk asked. "I told you, that you'd be able to sneak up on him." She grinned down at him.

"Yeah" Yosef replied. "Sorry that I doubted but I didn't think I'd be able to use my Semblance on him."

Yosef's Semblance: Short Circuit- By touch he can scramble any organism's control over their body. Making them unable to move their body move the way they wish.

Silk held up what looked like perfume. "I can craft a fragrance that can make anything or anyone odorless, perfect for sneaking on targets, especially those with high senses of smell."

The short man nodded smiling that they managed to get away.

"W-what is going on?" Bisque asked unable to move.

"You're welcome." Silk said as she grabbed the brute. "Come on, let's head back to the hideout, Amaranth will want to see us."

Yosef nodded as they all went back carrying the brute.

Vale

Blake sighed as she walked inside a correctional facility.

She hoped that he would see her this time.

"Miss Belladonna?" A guard asked. "Right this way."

Blake walked in the hallways of the prison, she had only been able to see him once and was thankful to see him again.

Once she was in front of the door she sees him through a glass wall.

A young man with red hair, bull horns, he was allowed to wear his mask to hide the scar.

"Hi Adam" Blake greeted her former mentor.

"Blake" The Bull Faunus said her name like it left a bad taste in his mouth.

She wasn't offended by it, it was clear that he still believed he was in the right.

"Thank you for letting me visit now." She said to him.

"I only agreed because of what you told me." He said to her.

Blake nodded, that was fine.

"Adam, a lot of your followers are still missing, we've looked everywhere, the authorities, huntsmen, my father and the majority of the White Fang haven't found them, do you know where they could have gone?"

The Bull Faunus didn't seem bothered.

"Why do you care?"

Blake narrowed her eyes.

"Please, their families are worried, they're not even back in Menagerie and they didn't have the means to go to the other kingdoms, don't you want to help them. What if they're in trouble? You've made mistakes Adam, but you care for your people."

Adam chuckled lightly. "They are in trouble."

"Then why are you laughing?" She asked.

"Because your acting like you care, but it's your fault that their in danger." He said to her while strangely smirking. "If it wasn't for you, your team, and that boy you obsess over they'd be fine."

Blake squeezed her hand.

"What are you talking about."

Adam chuckled again at her reaction. "While the White Fang were stationed here, we were protecting Faunus Settlements that get ignored by the humans, we could afford to, were organized and had the man power."

Blake thought back to that village Kron had protected. Was that one of the villages?

"When I was captured, I'm sure the White Fang were scattered and disorganized." He lamented that moment when that boy Kron had just casually captured him. "When YOU and your band of humans captured my lietanant, you left my branch of the White Fang without leadership and they turned to panic."

The Cat looked away, feeling a bit of guilt hearing that. She didn't regret capturing them, she only regretted that she left the rest helpless.

Adam sighed thinking of how they were left helpless because of his weakness.

"After that they were easy picking for an organization that had been targeting those villages." He explained. "The Silver Bullet Brotherhood."

Blake looked confused hearing that name. "The Silver Bullets? Their a myth, weren't they used for propaganda to get more recreuits?" She remembered that a year ago, she was againts it because she didn't want to trick people into joining.

"Their real." Adam explained. "Most people tend to ignore them, even Faunus like to pretend that they don't exist." He said to him. "I'm sure that after we were weakened that the Silver Bullets decided to capture our men as retribution for keeping them away from the villagers."

Blake looked saddened by this, the White Fang had gotten worse over time. She even turned a blind eye to it for some time. She was hoping one day they would come to their senses and realize that they lost their way.

Would things have been different if she had stayed and tried to change the White Fang from within?

"The Silver Bullets are rumored to use Faunus as slaves at best." Adam continued. "At worse they are being experimented on and being used as weapons."

The Cat Faunus looked scared of that, wondering how many of her people are suffering for that. And how many families will wonder what happened to them after the fall of this White Fang branch.

"Adam, do you know anything that can help?"

The Bull Faunuss stared at her for a moment. "I know one way to help." He looked around his cell. "Get me out."

Blake had a feeling he was going to ask that. "You can't be serious."

"I can find them." Adam explained. "Get me out, I will forgive your betrayel and we can save them." He said in a surprisingly gentle tone.

The Cat Faunus looked sadly at him.

"Even if I could do that, we both know letting you out will not lead to anything good." She frowned.

Adam slammed the wall of his cell in anger. "And leaving Kron out of prison does?"

Blake squeezed her hands knowing his point. He wasn;'t completely wrong, Kron hasn't quite paid for his past actions. But there's one thing that can't be denied.

"Say what you want Adam, but Kron saved the city you were going to burn." She pointed out. "So you don't have any right complaining about that, Kron has done more good than you have for a long time."

Adam gritted his teeth and scoffed.

"Just get of out my sight." He seethed.

Blake didn't leave and demanded. "So you won't tell me anything?"

"Even if I did, you wouldn't be strong enough to save them, and the huntsmen would turn a blind eye to our people's suffering like they've always done." He wasn't going to give up his only leverage to get out of prison.

The Cat Faunus looked down and shook her head.

"Fine" She stood up. "You know Adam, from what I've heard, Kron was worse than you have become." She heard all about his crimes from when he was a child, as well as how monstrous. "But he managed to change for the better, I know that can be the case for you to."

Adam said nothing and crossed his arms.

Blake left with a saddened expression, wishing that she had been able to change him.

She only hoped that the Silver Bullet Brotherhood wasn't real and that the missing Faunus are somewhere where they can't hurt anyone.

Once Kron was sitting on a tree branch wondering what to do.

Should he go to Roman? He said he had info on those Silver Bullets. It has to be them since they were armed wish special equipment like he said. Who else would it be but them?

But why does that matter, Bisque was a joke. His power was clearly above huntsman, maybe equal with Winter.

But after his last Zenkai boost that power isn't much to him.

Maidens might not be able to make him bleed anymore.

For better or for worse he has become too strong for this planet. He'd consider leaving if it wasn't for the fact that if he did, he'd be easily killed by soldiers from Frieza's army or even some races out there that have decent warriors.

He wonders if anyone on this planet will match him now.

Like that monster.

His thoughts drifted to the Grimm that attacked him right after his fight with Raven.

It was his equal, it withstood his full power and was able to hurt him. If it had gone any different, he would be dead.

At any rate this Bisque moron. He must be connected to the Silver Bullet Organization in some way.

And as much as he would love to shatter his teeth for just going on and on about his obsession with the old hag, it didn't really seem worth it to go after him.

Besides, he and others will attack him again at some point. By then he will be able to shut that pathetic bootlicker's mouth permanently.

Although one of them seem to have a Semblance that messes with his body in way he can't figure out.

He could move, but his body wasn't moving the way he meant it to. Did it mess with his brain? It must have, whoever did that can be a problem, but still, like him he was weak.

One thing's for certain he will have to kill whoever did that that to him. He admitted that they weren't huntsmen, which meant he didn't need to hold back on them.

Still hunting them down didn't really seem worth the trouble. Like most of his opponents these days Bisque only lasted as long as he did because Kron was having fun with him.

So, finding him wasn't worth the trouble.

"Time to get back to training." He decided and flew off ignoring the idiot that came after him.

Still, he made a mental note to watch out for them.

XXX

Away from Kron, Amaranth the leader of Team ABYS was alone in the woods.

He pressed a button on his wrist and a hologram of a man with black hair and a beard, with a large metal arm.

"Dr. Rockshow, thank you for taking time to speak to me." He then bowed politely.

Fort Lee grinned seeing the leader he selected speak to him with respect.

"I take it you've made progress?"

Amaranth responded right away.

"We have located the Scourge of Anima and Silk have been able to track him wherever he goes." The red head responded. "Yosef had collected new data on him, and we have a good idea on his capabilities."

"It's good to know the training you four went through is paying off, and? When will you be able to bring him to me."

Amaranth was trained by General Ironwood himself and was said to succeed him when he would retire. He was as intelligent as he was strong, if anyone can capture the monkey it would be him.

"We cannot."

Dr. Rockshow's eyes widened. "Excuse me?"

The leader continued like he hadn't said anything wrong. "From what we've seen, our chances to capture him are extremely low, he's too strong and too quick for us, any plan I make he will simply overpower us, there is nothing we can do."

He said it all without batting an eye.

Fort Lee was flabbergasted by this criminal's audacity.

"Amaranth, do you understand what that means?"

"Yes, you must dispose of us." Amaranth said to him.

Again, he said it like he was talking about the weather. Like his life wasn't a concern for him.

"So, there is nothing you could do?"

"Not on our own." Amaranth responded. "However, with further assistance there is a chance."

The scientist scoffed hearing that.

"You demand help?"

"No, I am making a suggesting." He responded. "You have dozens of experiments in one of your laboratories, I plan to lure him there so we can use them to finally end him."

Fort Lee slammed a hand on his armchair.

"Those experiments must be top secret, what if there are witnesses?" He responded. "Fool! I'm already taking a risk sending you, what makes you think I'd allow one of my bases to be sacrificed for this monkey?"

Amaranth kept his blank face and responded.

"It is our only chance." Amaranth stated. "So I have already tipped him off that we are after him."

"What did you say?" Dr. Rockshow demanded. "He already knows your after him?"

"Yes" Amaranth said in a regular tone. "I ordered them not to engage, but I know Bisque wouldn't be able to restrain himself and attack him if I didn't keep my eyes on him. So he now knows that we are after him."

Rockshow squeezed his fists and slammed.

"You were ordered to capture him and not let him escape knowing that he was being hunted! How could you not follow this simple demand."

And again the red head didn't show a hint of fear.

"That was unrealistic." Amaranth said. "We cannot capture him on our own, our best chance is to lure him to one of your biogenic research labs. If we bring him there he would have to face your dangerous experiments, it might be enough to slow him down and grant us an opportunity to capture him, so long as you are willing to part with it."

Rockshow growled.

"That is not happening!" The scientist yelled. "You have one last chance! Capture him now before he spreads word of you! If you do not then you will die now!"

He wasn't going to sacrifice that laboratory. It was where his most valuable experiments was being conducting. If these buffoons cannot do this job he will replace them after disposing of them."

Amaranth didn't appear upset, his expression never changed and he said.

"Then I refuse this mission."

Again, he was surprised and lifted a tablet with the names of the team he had.

"I can end you with the press of a button and you refuse your chance for your freedom and your life?"

Amaranth showed no signs of fear.

"If you do not agree to my request then we will fail, I will not embarrass myself by facing an enemy I know we have no chance of defeating." He responded coldly. "You have two choices, agree with my request or detonate the bombs, please do not waste time."

Fort Lee had thought managing a criminal team would be difficult, but he never imagined one of them would demand help and refuse to cooperate if he refused.

He held his thumb over Amaranth's name, and he remained stoic like he was a robot.

This man truly does not care for his own life.

Fort Lee chuckled and started to laugh whole heartedly.

Amaranth said nothing in response and allowed him to laugh.

"Oh, Amaranth, I'm starting to see why you were often compared with Ironwood." He placed the tablet down. "You do not engage until you know what your up against, once you do know you don't fantasize winning you admit your limits and will not act until you have what you need to win."

The leader of Team ABYS did not respond to that.

"You don't suffer lost causes and I respect that." He chuckled.

He looked at the monitors on the side.

There were Faunus that looked more bestial than they should be, thanks to Rockshow's trials.

All of them were White Fang agents from Vale that were under the command of Adam Taurus. And now they were his latest test subjects!

One was of a Cobra Faunus who had a tail and a cobra shaped head, two traits instead of one that Faunus are supposed to have.

Another was a weasel Faunus covered in head to toe in fur, it was devouring some rats in it's cell.

The last one was a cell that was underwater.

With a pale young man, with a shark's fin, fangs and pale eyes.

The Shark Faunus gave a menacing glare as if hoping for a kill.

Products of something Rockshow is working on to show the Faunus's true nature and awaken everyone's eyes to the truth. Faunus are meant to be slaves and weapons to mankind.

"Alright I have the perfect lab in mind where my most dangerous experiments are."

Amaranth nodded. "Thank you, Dr. Rockshow."

The Doctor smiled and chuckled.

"Just remember me when I give you what I promised, perform this mission and I will ensure you not only your freedom, but that you take Ironwood's position."

For the first time Amaranth gave a smirk at that.

Dr. Merlot's Island

Arthur was tightening bolts on some robotic arms, this was going to take time, but it was worth it to make Ironwood pay for denying his genius.

The robot was a shaped like a human, it's head looked like a mask with glaring eyes. It's build was that of an average man.

Dr. Polendina was always foolish to be so attached to his inventions, even calling one of them his 'daughter' how disgusting and foolish.

How could they choose him over his genius?

He hoped that his invention will tear that Android to pieces, show him that his 'daughter' is not flesh and blood.

He was looking forward to this. Ever since Salem had revealed Soul Dust to them, he had thought of this creation for a long time and now he was able to access it.

After looking at them closely as well as Dr. Merlot's expertise he was able to figure out a way

Utilize them in a way even Salem could not foresee.

Perhaps he'll program his creation to hunt down that fat idiot.

As he worked on this manually his collogue was typing away at a computer.

"I must say this is ingenuous." Dr. Merlot noted. "I doubt Polendina's work could measure up to this."

Arthur chuckled. "That goes without saying, what you see here will be beyond any creation Polendina can ever come up with."

Merlot put a hand to his chin looking at the schematics. "I do have one concern do you think the alloy will withstand your power sources?"

Arthur looked at the body of the Android.

It had five open slots in different areas.

One in it's chest, one in each arm and leg.

All of them filled with a clear glass crystal, blank Soul Dust crystals.

"I believe that it will manage." Arthur stated as he looked at his blueprints.

Project Canvas, the pinnacle of his understanding of robotics.

Hours had passed and Bisque awoke groggy. He rubbed his head feeling broken bones all across his body.

He looked around to see where he was.

Bisque was brought to a bed in Team ABYS's hideout. He groaned as he pushed himself up, but he was struggling.

Just as he was a woman with purple hair walked towards him.

"Morning sunshine." Silk said to him smiling. "Look at you, the kid really put you threw the ringer, didn't he?"

Bisque growled as he tried to open his eyes but his right one was swollen shut. "Quiet, you little whore or I'll break that little face of yours!"

"Ooh" The seductress smiled at him like he hadn't threaten him.

Yosef who was sitting on a chair looked at his female teammate. "Um, Silk, do you have to do that? I'm sure he's already in pain."

"Oh shut up." Silk rolled her eyes. "He deserves it after the stunt he pulled.:

Bisque was only getting angrier and angrier, but he couldn't move.

"You just ran off and tried to fight the Scourge of Anima all by yourself because you didn't listen to our leader." Silk leaned over and smiled at the brute. "So, what did you learn?"

The brute glared angrily at her and tried to reach for her but his arms fell.

The woman giggled at the failed attempt. "Oh, can't move?" She teased. "Aww, Raven would be disappointed."

"Shut up!" Bisque yelled at her.

She giggled hearing his misery.

"That's enough Silk."

The brute looked to see their leader walking in the hideout.

Amaranth looked at him with the same void expression he always had.

"I see that you went after him, Matholwch" He referred to him by his last name. "Now you know what you are up against."

Bisque stopped moving and thought back to the 'fight' if you can call it that. He had been humiliated, had allowed him to get away with what he had done with the love of his life! He took her arm! He was going to make him pay!

"Bisque" Amaranth said. "I have a plan, but I am going to need your cooperation for it."

The brute scoffed not wanting to talk to him.

"Listen" The red head continued. "When we succeed remember what the doctor promised. Freedom, and a way to bring us our dreams." He explained. "He has the means to search for Raven, when she finds out that the Scourge has fallen, I will happily allow you to take credit for his death."

Bisque's eyes widened. "W-why?"

"I have no interest in it Amaranth stated. "All I want is to better my country, with credit for his death, don't you think Raven would take an interest in you? Perhaps she will want to start a new Branwen Tribe with you by her side."

The ex-champion's eyes widened thinking of that. He imagined Raven by his side, leading an unstoppable new tribe of warriors. Feared for killing the Scourge.

Bisque, the Scourge Slayer. That has a nice ring to it.

Bisque, husband of Raven Branwen.

A blush reached his cheeks as he thought of his future.

"Now" Amaranth continued and brought him out of his daydream. "Bisque, will you help me in my plan? I need absolute cooperation."

He knew how he was, a man obsessed with a woman who gave him little thought. A simple and unhealthy obsession.

A perfect weapon to bring him under his control.

Bisque sighed, he knew he won't be able to kill the boy on his own. He… needed them.

"What, do you want?" He asked.

Amaranth nodded and looked at Yosef and Silk.

Both of them accepted that they would need his cooperation.

Rockshow had agreed.

"First we will need to acquire bait." He looked at his scroll to see their target's location.

Now it was time to lure him to their turf.

Kron has encountered a member of Team ABYS, though he doesn't seem to think they are a problem. What is Amaranth's plan? And just what horrors has Rockshow committed to his captured White Fang subjects?

Find out next time on One's Own Path!

Think of Bisque as Raven's Tyrian.

Originally way back, Bisque was meant to be apart of the Branwen Tribe while Kron joined the tribe, like Cher was but after I decided not to have Kron stay in the tribe for long I didn't have time for him so I kind of set him aside.

When I was thinking of Team ABYS I decided to bring him back. Suprised I remembered I put his Bio in a folder lol.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed the 'fight' don't worry we'll have better ones before to long and not just with Kron either.

Team ABYS was supposed to show up in the last arc, but there was so much going on that I had to save them for later, hope you'll enjoy my suicide squad.

Anyway I'll be sure to post a chapter next month.

Hope you'll look forward to it.

Review Responces.

kaiser0kolovos: Thank you, I'm glad that you felt that way because it was what I wanted.

Yeah, Raven's problem is she didn't really try to teach Kron about loyalty, so he couldn't have gotten loyal to her in the first place since she hereslef is very treacherous. If she had thought to teach him more than just survival of the fittest things probably would have been different for her. But worse for Remnant as Kron would raid villages.

Some day Kron will own up to all he's done, hope you'll enjoy the story till then.

Guest: Ok

Phaganax: I already have that planned, for now though they have to learn to truly utilize both at once and then they will keep up with Saiyans way better than humans did in dragon ball.

AlejandroDiaz: I hope so to.

1. Sadly not until my other story has ended, though it is in it's final arc.

2. Haven't seen it yet.

ThatSaiyaGuy: Really hope fanfiction doesn't pull that crap again lol. Thank you, and well, usually the first villains we see in an arc are just the warm up, but we shall see.

Yep, Eclipse was only a few months old so he took awhile to be made and Dr. Merlot obviously priotized him of all else, wanted his son back stronger than ever.

Yeah, I wanted everyone to use their energy in different ways instead of them all just doing the same things with them, and there's going to be more.

Ozpin may have found something that can compete with Salem, at least in canon, although as you can see it can be harmful, you'll find out what it is soon hope you'll like it.

Yep, though at least he didn't get anyone killed otherwise he'd definitely would've lost more than just his position. As for Roman, well he wants the most powerful on his side, Cinder's a threat to him but to Kron, not so much.

Kron did embarrass Cinder and ruined her plans for the Fall of Beacon so it would make sense if she just lost it just went after him. Or worse get her hands on more Soul Dust when Salem warned her that it wasn't safe at the moment. But we shall see.

Hope it was worth the wait!

Guest: I am too. :)

Jay: Currently thinking of calling it the Silver Bullet Saga, not sure yet to be honest. It's hard to come up with names for Sagas without spoilers.

I'm happy that you like what I've done with how RWBY uses Ki. Yeah, he's the strongest so anyone he's close to can be in danger.

Hopefully with Aura they can find a way to keep up at least a little.

Possibly once Kron decides to add Aura fundamentals to his energy.

arawiguM: Glad that it was bingable, quite the compliment lol.

WingNUT48: Yes we are! Lol!

Guest: Thank you.

Yep, he was five before Planet Vegeta's destruction.

keybladelight: Thank u

Cyberbooks: About that... lol

Lelouch of Zero: I'm glad it was!

We've only scratched the surface, there's more Ki abilities on the way.

Yep.

His fighting style was based on mimicking Grimm so it would make sense he'd used Alpha Grimm to use them. As for Salem seeing through them, as far as I know she can only see through Seers, I haven't seen anything that says she can see through all Grimm. Unless I missed something wich is possible.

Yep.

The legendary Super Huntsman lol.

Yeah he can't just destroy the jar, too valuable, hopefully that doesn't come back to bite him, but in the pod it's probably staying where it is.

It is pretty funny that when you think of how strong Kron is, he is nowhere near a common foot soldier and wouldn't last too long in OG Dragon Ball.

We are going to learn even more so don't worry.

Thank you for reading!

Runeion: Thank you. Yep, hopefully I'll be able to make them entertaining. Yes, the question is will they be allowed to use Ki?

Kamencolin: Yep

Guest: That makes sense, it was an awesome movie to.

Guest: Lol, barely had the time, next time I'm gonna try to add to both of them at once again.

James is bored: Who knows, right now though he might want to consider hunting teams that decide to bother him.

Monster King: Thank you!

iadonavan310: Yes I am!

triscythe59: Hope you'll enjoy!

Maybe some day some how lol.

gotham0101: I'm back lol!
