Before the chapter I have to say.

Chapter 48 I established that in this story, Aura comes from the Dust flowing through mankind on Remnant. Meaning Aura should not work in space. I am fully aware that is the case. I knew that before I made that concept in this story. I wanted that issue to come to be a problem for our characters to solve when it's time for space. I apologize for not being clear on that when I

Hey guys welcome back hope you enjoy the chapter!

Back on Track

Kron had always sought freedom, to live his life without any rules but his own. To have a choice instead of living under his parents rule or on the whims of other Saiyans like his father does.

He wanted to join the Saiyan army, to enjoy a warriors life that he always dreamed of.

It was what motivated him to risk his life, steal his mother's pod and leave Planet Vegeta.

He loved his freedom to do whatever he wished without anything holding him back. The natives were always too weak to stop him.

Then after being removed from the Branwen Tribe and meeting Kali.

He realized what he really wanted was to leave Planet Vegeta's class system, to thrive without living under the stronger Saiyans. Sohe abandoned his mission and ended up stopping himself from killing due to her influence.

Even then he still did whatever he pleased, just with little bloodshed.

With some exceptions, Qrow was going to be one of those exceptions, and jumped the gun. Again.

He always jumped the gun.

He couldn't help but think where it got him the first time, what happened in Menagerie, attacking Blake and her friends. And now he finds out he attacked a man who offered him a deal he should have taken instead he attacked him.

Ozpin looked at Kron he didn't show it but he can see the guilt in his eyes. Learning of Qrow's innocence stirred his mind, good just as he thought.

Now he needed to let him know.

"I sent Qrow to find and learn about you Kron."

The Saiyan turned to the headmaster not saying anything and wearing a blank expression.

"His mission was to observe you, learn your motives and what kind of person you are," Ozpin stated. "I know your history Kron, I know you've taken the lives of many huntsmen, and also that you have stopped. You always left the huntsmen in your wake alive, all of a sudden you stopped."

Kron heard that and remembered back when he had an opportunity to kill back at the Golden Daggers Arena. He stopped thinking of what Raven had said about how Kali would feel about all the deaths he caused.

"When he came back, he told me of your grudge against Raven, I was surprised to hear that he was willing to make a deal that would have ended with his own sister killed." He frowned remembering how upset he was with what Raven had done. Understandably so, but still he was shocked to learn of what he was willing to do. "Then a few months later, you come along and I learn more about you than I hoped."

He thought Qrow was close to him, so that's why he was around coincidentally. He wondered if his Semblance lead him to show up.

Though at the same time it seemed to have saved him when he was going to try to kill him.

And he was actually glad about that, his rage almost ended someone else who was willing to help him.

"You know you and Qrow are alike." Ozpin stated. "Like you he has taken innocent lives during his childhood in the Branwen Tribe, even children."

Kron was surprised to hear that, he thought all huntsman were these people that did no wrong. Even Kron himself did not kill those who couldn't fight back, he always only went after the huntsmen. Not for any code that keeps him from attacking the weak, it was more that he wanted actual fights. He would have been ok to kill the weakling civilians, he was going to once he was strong enough to start ending cities.

That is until the day he met Kali.

"I myself have my share of regrets." Ozpin frowned thinking of a tower that locked away a once innocent woman. At the time he thought it was right, but looking at all the atrocities she committed, the monster she became. It is now one of the greatest mistakes he had ever made. "Regret is apart of life Kron, you can either let it rip away at you, or use it to grow and improve yourself."

Kron did not respond only looked down at his bed sheets.

"I see that you are in no mood to watch anymore, I will take my leave." Ozpin leaves with a frown, he wasn't happy with what he did, it was manipulating, it was why Raven had left. But he had thought of the bigger picture however this deal ends, he wanted Kron to know that they were not enemies. And in time to perhaps be the one to save Remnant from the Grimm Queen.

Ozpin sighed as he walked away.

Kron thought everything he did, the murders he committed, the assumptions he made. Come to think of it, there was no reason to assume Qrow had tried to trick him, he had beaten him enough for Raven to notice. He knew that. But after that Dust crystal fell on him he thought of all the mistakes he made, tripping, missing his attacks, mistakes he never made.

He was right that it was due to a Semblance. And he was wrong that it was on purpose.

It was just like Menagerie, Kali had done nothing but help him and he broke her husband's bones. Taken Sienna's leg who was only following orders.

He had almost taken someone important to Kali and Blake.

And now he has done the same to Yang and Ruby who wanted to help him as well.

Kron lied down, now mentally exhausted from these foreign emotions clouding his mind.

Saiyans always viewed these emotions as weak and needless. His instincts told him to ignore them, they tried to suppress them. But he couldn't not after everything his been through.

He turned to the books Ozpin had given him.

Might as well read, it'd be a good distraction.

He took a book and looked at the title.

'The Evolution of Ironjaw Greatwhite'

He opened the book to sate his need of history.

'In a time where all Faunus were born with greater animalistic tendencies than today, there lived a tribe of Shark Faunus called the Dakuwaqa tribe, they were like any other Shark Faunus of this era, they devoured humans, other Faunus tribes, and even other weaker members of their kind.'

Sounded like what Kron had read of the old days where Saiyans would always kill their own children that did not possess the power level they desired for their offspring. Until eventually they realized that weaker Saiyans can be used for mundane tasks, which eventually became the Working Class the rank below Low Class. Only difference besides their society and the Saiyans is they were not cannibals. Even though his life on that planet was the worse he was grateful that he wasn't born in that era.

He continued to read.

'Among these was born a Shark Faunus named Ironjaw Greatwhite, who would eventually become chief of the Dakuwaqa, he was the cruelest of them all, always devouring any human or his own men if they proved weak without a second thought.'

This was why Faunus today were not trusted, humans can remember when all Faunus were born with these tendencies.

'One day during a raid on a human village, Ironjaw was injured, one of his own men stabbed him in the back in an attempt to take his position, he would drift into the ocean before he was going to be devoured.'

Foolish to turn his back on his men, and weak for that weakling to attack from behind.

'Ironjaw ended up being rescued by human fishermen, when he awoke he wanted to devour the fisherman. But he couldn't he was too weak to try so he bided his time, allowing the foolish fishermen to treat him and planned to devour him.'

This sounded strangely familiar.

'However in the time Ironjaw was healed, he couldn't bring himself to kill the fisherman. In an urhead of event Fang had left the human alive, he had even eaten children but he left this fisherman who was foolish enough to heal a predator Faunus.'

Yes, definitely familiar.

'Ironjaw would return to his people, devour the tribesman who betrayed him and became chief once more. And interestingly enough he did not devour a single human afterwards, no one in the tribe knew why, but his strength was still the greatest, he would still murder and devour any of his kin who try to betray him. Some viewed him as weak for refusing to devour humans, but he would prove them wrong with his strength, for his whole rule the Dakuwaqa would not devour a single human, until he had passed in his old age.'

Not completely familiar but he could see similarities, he had stopped his kill after realizing Kali had done nothing but help him and only wanted to help him.

'Ironjaw was the first predatory Faunus in recorded history to refuse to feed on humans. Perhaps in that time of his greatest need he had gotten to know the fisherman and had formed some sort of bond with him and couldn't bring himself to devour anymore. Perhaps even primitive Faunus had hope to change, to go beyond their instincts and see more than food in other people. Only Ironjaw, knew for sure.'

Kron closed the book and thought of the story.

Throughout the story Ironjaw, he became attached to a weak human, stopped killing humans and remained the strong. These attachments did not make him weak.

Ozpin no doubt gave him this book on purpose. Normally he'd be annoyed, angry that Ozpin was making him think of the change he was going through.

But it seemed to be trying to have him understand the change he was going through.

Maybe understanding these changes will help him see if he can keep his strength and get stronger.

If this Shark Faunus can remain strong after accepting his change, perhaps he can to.

Now tired, the Saiyan placed the book back on his side table and drifted himself to sleep.

Weather or not he wanted to change or not, he was. While he wasn't a fan of 'going soft' there was one thing he wanted to change about himself.

No more assumptions, no more jumping the gun.

He will learn restraint.

Dr. Merlot's Island

Eclipse was walking with crayons and paper to his room.

While he was waiting to recover and finally do Lady Salem's fun mission he was trying to color.

He hoped to recover soon, her mission sounded really fun.

As he walked he heard the screams, the little girl and the big man.

Eclipse made a whiney noise hearing their pain. The little girl was mean to his dad so he didn't care about her as much about her, that will teach her not to be so mean.

He thought that as he walked passed the room of the little girl who was blasting fire all over her room.

Now he was walking past the big man's room.

He can see him attacking all over his room and screaming. His body covered in veins struggling to accept the now Ripened Soul Dust.

Eclipse watched through the glass as he attacked everything in the room.

He didn;t know anything about the big man, but he never tried to hurt his dad.

The monster kneeled down and colored in front of the big man's room.

As he did someone walked to him.

Dr. Merlot looked down at Eclipse.

"Son? Why aren't you coloring in your room?"

Eclipse looked at his father and made a noise while holding up his colorign to show his father.

Dr. Merlot looked at the drawing and chuckled. He pressed his hand against the screen infront of the door.

Inside the room Hazel was screaming constantly, he still couldn't activate his Semblance and it felt like his body was tearing itself apart.

Just then the door opened and he screamed turning to what was at the door. He didn't think, he couldn't think he just wanted to attack at whatever was in the door.

"Raahhh!" He yelled as he slammed his arms on the chest of his visitor.

Once his strike landed Eclipse hit the ground with a huge amount of force. The attack was strong, it made him want to fight.

But he didn't counter, the big man was sick, he needed something to feel better.

Hazel yelled raising his fists planning to slam him again.

But Eclipse rolled out of the way as his fists missed.

The brute was about to attack again but he stopped, his eyes widened.

In front of his face was Eclipse's drawing.

It was a get well card with a drawing of Hazel on it.

The brute struggled to move staring at the drawing.

He looked at the drawing and a sense of familiarity plagued him.

Hazel looked at Eclipse's face who had formed a green smile on his void face and made a welcoming squeal noise. In Eclipse's face he sees a young girl with long black hair and brown eyes.

Struggling, the brute started remembering who he was, where he was and what he was doing.

Eclipse waved the paper in front of him.

The brute struggled as he took it from him and looked at it.

He was still covered in veins and shaking in pain.

The brute looked down at Eclipse who was smiling.

"Th-thank you." Hazel said kneeling on the ground while looking at the get well card, it reminded him of his sister, it made the struggle easier.

Eclipse put a hand on the shoulder of the big man and made a noise, as if to say your welcome.

He then walked out of the room happy to see Hazel had calmed down.

As he did, he sees Dr. Merlot with a smile on his face.

"You really a good boy Eclipse."

The monster made a squeal pleased to hear that and turned to the big man. He seemed to have eased up, maybe he was really good at coloring.

Dr. Merlot meanwhile observed Hazel and sees how he is still in immense pain, he seemed to have eased up looking at the drawing for some reason. He wondered why.

Whatever the case, perhaps he'll absorb the Soul Dust quicker than Bertilak and Carmine did.

Either way the lady will want to hear about this.

White Fang Base

Everything was a mess, their human partners are missing, including that insufferable Torchwick.

They may have been human but they were essential for their plans. It was quite the loss.

But Adam, Adam Taurus had gone missing! Their chapter's leader! He was taken out of nowhere by the Scourge of Anima!

Now many in the White Fang are scattered unsure of what to do, doing whatever they can to, some considered contacting Sienna, but the older Fangs refused not wishing to betray him given that his plan was going to ensure the humans learn that the Faunus are done being oppressed.

Luckily for them only a trusted few had the means to contact Sienna, and they were loyal to Adam not wishing to betray him. Only to find and rescue him. Until they find him dead, he is still their true leader. Sienna refuses to fight the Scourge, Adam was the one who wanted to take a stand againts that monster.

And so they will do what they can, either searching for him or waiting for their leader to return..

Two White Fang members were carrying a box of weapons.

Another older member walked to them and pointed at the truck.

"Hurry and take the stuff, Adam needs us to-

Just then there was an explosion that shook the building.

The White Fang look to where it came from.

A large dust cloud was there and four figures walked in the building.

They expected a team of huntsmen, but instead it was four young looking women.

Team RWBY stood with their weapons out taking fighting stances ready for battle.

Blake holding up her blade took off her bow revealing her cat ears.

Many looked at her and some have recognized her as Ghira's daughter, wondering why she was hiding her Faunus heritage.

Blake took a breath hoping that she can talk them into surrendering.

"Brothers and sisters of the White Fang." Blake said. "Adam has been captured, and is no longer a threat to Vale."

Many members were shocked hearing that and looked at eachother ,behind their masks they were shocked.

"I have seen the plans you had." Blake continued. "It's all ruined, just give up now, if you do your sentence will be lightened." She hoped many would take it and give up now.

Some looked at each other wondering if it was worth it now knowing that Adam was in chains. If their strongest was captured what hope did they have.

One of the really loyal Adam supporters aimed a gun at her.

"She stands with a Schnee!" He yelled aiming his hand at Blake.

This riled up many who were becoming demoralized and see the woman, Weiss Schnee with a Faunus.

Weiss looked at all of them and had a sad look on her face thinking of Adam's scar. She wondered if any of them were also hiding scars.

By her side Ruby grabbed her shoulder to ease her and gave her a determined look.

And it seemed to have given Weiss her resolve back, she wasn't her father, or the SDC, she was a huntress right now.

Blake sighed, fine, they'll do what they need to do.

"Kill the traitor!" The older member yelled.

The White Fangs attacked, some charging forward with swords, bats, and others pulling the trigger of their guns.

Team RWBY reacted in different ways and in pairs. Blake with Yang and Ruby with Weiss.

Yang being the strongest was dealing with the heavy hitters with ease. She slammed a fist into five White Fangs in the face before they could even attack, she held back quiete a bit, she didn't want to cause permanent damage, though she may have caused concussions. One tried to slash at her neck.

She rose an arm and blocked it with her Ember Celica gauntlet. "Whoa, watch the hair." She said as she punched straight into his face sending the White Fang rolling and slamming into other members.

Yang chuckled, she'd prefer fighting some strong, but it felt good showing off her Ki enhanced strength.

Behind her a White Fang member was going to strike her back with a sword.

Only for him to be shot in the back and fell.

Yang turned to see the White Fang on the ground and looked at Blake aiming her gun towards her.

Embarrassed Yang brushed through her hair.

"Hehe thanks Blake."

"Try to focus." She said as she rose her blade to block a sword.

Yang nodded and looked ahead to see more grunts coming her way. She was right, she needed to stay on task, she remembered what happened with Adam. Even if she was stronger, she needed to stay on guard.

She threw herself at a group ready to knock em all down.

Blake meanwhile used her Gambol Shroud to swing through the building around the shelves taking down White Fang's from behind and had made sure to take out any that wielded snipers that were aiming at her teammates.

She swung her Gambol shroud around a couple of snipers and she pulled, letting the two fall to the ground. She was then attacked from behind but she ducked underneath and swept kick the one behind her and struck their head with the back of her blade knocking them out.

And a White Fang struck her from behind slashing through her back.

Only for her to disappear showing that it was a clone.

The real Blake fell from the ceiling and kicked her potential assailant in the back of the head making them fall over and unconscious.

She moved intending to knock out any of the stealthier members in the building were knocked out so they couldn't go after her team.

Ruby had struck down a White Fang with a double kick to their face.

Weiss had pierced one's armor with her sword knocking them out as well.

Just then a larger member of the White Fang walked through a door.

Ruby and Weiss stood side by side looking at the man.

He was a brutish man wearing a unique White Fang mask approached wielding a staff with chainsaws at each end.

He was nicknamed Banesaw, and he was Adam's lieutenant, he focused on Weiss, he had mixed feelings about this. On the one hand this chapter of the White Fang was on their last legs, and Adam was captured. Now though? He was face to face with the family that enslaved his kind, the family that had marked his superior.

"Finally I can kill a Schnee!"

He dashed forward intent to slash at Weiss.

Ruby stepped and swung her scythe.

Banesaw rose his chainsaw stuff and blocked it using the spinning blade on one hand.

With her speed Ruby pulled back and slashed across Banesaw's armor and appeared behind him.

The lieutenant stumbled from that and sees the Schnee waving her arms apart.

Unleashing three White Glyphs and each fired multiple ice shards.

Banesaw swung his chainsaw staff and shattered them, he then glanced to see the girl in red about to strike from behind. Her Semblance was faster then he was.

So he telegraphed using her stance and ducked his head a second before she started to swung and her weapon missed.

And he swung upwards with his Chainsaw staff.

It missed barely as she used her Semblance to back away and she fired multiple shots from Crescent Rose.

And Banesaw spun his staff deflecting the bullets and Weiss attempted to strike from behind.

Seeing it coming the lieutenant turned and kicked the girl in the stomach, he then swung his chainsaw staff down to cut her in half. Only for rose pedals to appear and grabbed Weiss before he could strike.

The two stopped and looked at Banesaw recognizing him as a dangerous man.

"He's dangerous, let's call on your sister." Weiss said looking at Yang who was taking care of most of the White Fang.

"No wait, i got an idea." Ruby knew if she called on her sister she'd be here right away but she had a way to take care of him just the two of them. She looked at Weiss and yelled.

"Thorn Blizzard!"

Weiss heard that and smiled, that was one of the moves they perfected while they trained with one another.

"Fine, make haste."

Ruby using her Semblance dashed around the area while Weiss holds up her hands.

Banesaw looked confused as he watched the girl run around, she fired multiple gun shots, he attempted to block.

But the bullets stopped trapped within a black gravity Glyph.

He looked around to see more bullets trapped within the many of the same glyphs.

Weiss may not be as fast as Ruby, but she's learned how to time Ruby's shots and they always made sure Ruby fired at specific spots around their target. Surrounding Banesaw were a dozen bullets trapped in gravity Glyphs, she then turned the black Glyphs white and unleashed the bullets encased in ice.

Banesaw rose his weapon attempting to block but couldn't as the bullets struck all around his body, being covered in Ice dust they did not peirce his body but they trapped him in ice.

"Rahhh!" The lieutenant screamed as he was trapped in ice from the surprise combination attack.

He was now defeated and unable to move.

Weiss took a knee exhausted from the amount of Glyphs she had to use.

Ruby appeared by her side.

"See, you said it was a bad attack."

Weiss rolled her eyes.

"Shut up dolt." She smiled glad to see her training had good results, funny how she hoped to use this against Kron at one point, she almost wanted to think him for showing up and learning this move. Almost.

Ruby and Weiss turned to their teammates.

Blake had slashed across a shoulder of one of the guards, knocking him to the ground knocking him out, with more than a few others behind her. She sheathed her weapon and turned to Yang if she needed support.

Yang was standing over a pile of White Fang agents, using her Ki and Aura to beat down her opponents in quick succession, the only reason she didn't finish sooner was because she was dealing with most of them.

She walked down from the pile and walked towards her teammates and looked at Banesaw trapped in ice.

"Whoa, you trapped him in ice? That's cold." She grinned. "Weiss cold."

All of RWB_ groaned at that while Yang had a toothy grin.

"Anyway" Ruby smiled as she sheathed her Crescent Rose. "Great work team! We aced our first mission!"

Weiss smirked proud to have stopped the White Fang. "We better have after all the nonsense we've been through.

Blake didn't show any reaction thinking of something else.

"Man, wish they could've warm me up." Yang said stretching. "I'll have to ask Kron for a spar."

"We should be happy it was this easy Yang." Blake said seriously. "The plans they had were really going to destroy the city."

Yang flinched feeling a bit guilty at what she said.

"Yeah, your right Blake sorry." She said smiling. "Are you going to be ok?"

Ruby and Weiss looked as well, surprisingly the heiress looked more worried knowing her family played a role for the White Fang's actions.

"I am, thank you for helping me stop them, it was what I needed."

Yang can see that she was feeling down put a hand on her shoulder getting her attention.

"Anytime partner, we're always here for ya." She looked to her sister and Weiss.

Ruby had a toothy smile while Weiss nodded in turn, showing that her team will always be there for her.

Blake was so grateful to have wonderful people at her side, she then frowned remembering something else.

After they were done with any other White Fang bases they could fin, she had to talk to Ozpin about 'him'.

It needed to be done.

Vale Prison

Ozpin waited in front of Vale's Maximum Security Prison. He was sure Glynda would be against this especially now, but it needed to be he feels it was for the best. For his student to move forward.

He turned as he heard footsteps.

Blake walked in front of him and looked at Ozpin.

"Headmaster"

Ozpin nodded.

"Miss Belladonna, I've received report the last remaining stronghold of the White Fang has been secured, you and your team have done us an excellent service to all of Vale. Thank you."

Blake nodded acknowledging the praise but still frowning, she wanted to get away, to not go through with what she had asked.

Ozpin can see that and asked. "Everything alright?"

"Yes" Blake sighed, she didn't run from Kron, and she won't run from him. "Can I see him?"

"Of course, come." Ozpin said walking in the prison with her following behind.

Blakes walked through the halls and sees a metal door.

Ozpin turned to Blake and smiled.

"Are you ready?"

She didn't feel like she was, but she had to. Perhaps if she can keep Kron from straying down the wrong path maybe she can save him as well. She took a breath and nodded.

"I will be watching in case anything happens and he is restrained."

Blake nodded feeling safer hearing that, he might want to hurt her after all that happened.

The metal door opened and she stepped inside.

Once she was in she sees a cell locked behind a wall of hard light dust.

Who can be seen is a young man dressed in black with horns and a mask was shown sitting.

Adam was surprised at what he saw. "Blake?"

Blake took a breath and stepped inside once again rehearsing what she wanted to say.

"Adam" She greeted.

He was still wearing his mask glaring at her behind it, and she was definitely afraid of that.

But she didn't run, she won't. She had to try for everyone's sake.

Adam said nothing and only stared at his protege, the traitor.

Blake regained her resolve and spoke.

"It's over, the White Fang are being captured." Blake said and can see that he reacted just by looking at his mouth. "We already captured your right hand man, my team is going after the rest, other huntsman are going after anyone escaping."

Blake can picture the enraged look behind Adam's mask.

"And your proud of that?"

Blake felt the need to get away even though he was in a cell.

"You saw me captured, humiliated and used for Kron's entertainment! And this is what you came to tell me?!" He shouted. "You act so proud of that, are you proud that your brothers and sisters are being hunted like the animals humans think we are?!"

She wasn't but it was necessary, they had to be stopped before they hurt anyone else.

Blake took a breath and sighed.

"No Adam, what I want you to do is let you know, that you need to tell Ozpin everything, about that Cinder woman."

Adam looked surprised hearing her say those names and glared.

"The Scourge he told you."

Blake didn't respond to that and continued.

"Please, go back to the Adam I knew." She said. "If you talk to Ozpin he will lighten your sentence, please no more of this, no more death. Just find your way back to the Adam I remember, the one who saved me and wanted equality with the humans."

Adam took off his mask and let it drop to the ground.

Blake looked away at the face.

With his scar he glared at the Cat Faunus.

"This" The Bull Faunus pointed at his scar. "This is what happens to anyone foolish enough to ask for fairness of these humans!"

The day he got that scar was the day the kind boy she knew started to change.

And she never realized it.

"Adam please, you can turn this around, you can be better and-"

"Be better?" Adam interrupted and. "Like who? Like Kron? Are you saying he's gotten better?"

He said with venom in his tone.

"He saved my life, risked his life for me, and stopped your plan." Blake replied. "He's done more good than the White Fang have these days." It was sad but true, the Scourge of Anima had saved lives while the White Fang was going to end them.

This made the Bull Faunus laughed at that and glared close to the Hard Light wall.

"Saved lives or not, he's taken lives just like me!" Adam yelled. "You wanna know the real difference between me and him? It's that I'm locked away and he's free!"

Blake glared when she heard that and spoke.

"Kron wasn't planning to destroy the city to get several people killed like you." She said to him. "Your plan would have taken more lives from innocent people!"

"Are you sure about that?" He asked smirking. "You remember when we studied him? The villages he raided with the Branwen Tribe, how many children do you think lost their parents to him?"

Blake sighed not sure what to say to that.

Seeing that he had the upper hand he continued.

"I have another difference between us, when I took lives, I had a goal in mind, to save our people! Kron? We both know he did it for his own enjoyment." He smirked seeing her falter. "You only care for him because both of you suffered due to Raven's actions, if you truly believed I need to be locked away and atone for my sins, then you are a hipocrite for not feeling the same way for Kron."

Blake closed her eyes and sighed. She hated to admit it but she wasn't sure she can convince him of anything else.

"Adam, please, give Ozpin what he wants, if you do, I will help you find a way to start a new life."

She started to walk away.

"You're a hypocrite Blake and you know it!" The doors to his cell closed as Blake walked away. "I will get out! And when I do I will murder him before your eyes!"

The door closed

Blake thought of what he said but shook her head, he's wrong, she's sure he is.

"You did the best you could Miss Belladonna." Ozpin said looking at her.

"Thank you, Ozpin." She said smiling and started to walk off.

Ozpin sighed as he looked at the door containing Adam, wondering what the next step will be.

Dr. Merlot's Island

Hazel was in immense pain, veins popped on his face. He still felt like he was going to pop like a balloon, and he could not focus his Aura to activate his Semblance for the past two days.

He still had a long road ahead of him he can see memories, memories he knew weren't his.

His body felt like it was shredding on the inside as it tried to accept the extra Aura and Semblances.

He grunted as he got on his hands and knees.

The brute looked down at the get well card Dr. Merlot's experiment had given him. It reminded him of when he would return home after training accidents he had growing up, learning how to fight in order to protect himself and his sister after their parents abandoned them.

It was strange, but somehow this Grimm, Eclipse was innocent and he reminded him of his sister.

Just then the door opened.

He turned his head grunting as it still hurt to move.

It was Eclipse only now he was a bit different, the spikes of his armor had grown and crown had gotten sharper.

He waved and made a noise.

Hazel looked confused, it was strange seeing him behave like this. When Dr. Merlot had talked about his project Eclipse, he didn't expect him to have the mannerisms of an innocent child.

Eclipse walked forward holding another drawing.

This time it was a picture of Eclipse and Hazel fighting.

It also had words.

'I have to leave, get well and we'll play like this!'

Hazel never liked fighting, he only ever learned as a necessity. But he looked at Eclipse, his face wasn't that different from any Grimm, a mask covered the top of his head leaving his chin and he smiled with fangs.

The brute wasn't sure what to think, somehow this Grimm was showing child like innocence even though he had to have blood on his hands.

Despite he can tell that fighting is how Eclipse plays and he genuinely wanted him recover.

Hazel in terrible pain nodded.

"I will, thank you."

Eclipse nodded and smiled as he walked out of Hazel's room.

The brute watched him go and looked down at the child like drawings. Clearly Eclipse wasn't just some creature like he assumed.

Eclipse walked out excited to be fully recovered. Finally it was time be free of to go and play! It wasn't too different from a child being promised a new toy to play with.

The mutant stood tall and overlooked the ocean surrounding the island and over the many mutant Grimm that are roaming the island.

And looked up at the sky ready for flight.

His body's spikes have grown larger, and his body felt lighter.

Also, from touching the shiny rocks had stopped, he no longer felt like he was disintegrating, and it didn't hurt to move.

And best part of all, his body now had better strength, speed, and durability.

He wondered if he could get stronger hopefully, he could, he wanted to get stronger forever.

But not too strong, he still wanted to have strong opponents, he didn't just want toys. He wanted a good fight, he wanted them to fight back. Even better he wanted a friend that can play with him.

Before that, he will have fun with this new toy Lady Salem asked him to. He hoped that it doesn't break.

Behind him Dr. Merlot walked to him.

"Ready Eclipse?"

Eclipse turned to his further and made a noise indicating he was.

"Good to hear."

The father and son duo turned to their newest visitor.

A lanky man with an open vest and scars across his chest walked forward and a scorpion tail.

Tyrian smiled as he looked at the doctor. "Good to see you again Dr. Merlot." He then looked at the mutant Grimm. "Is this your son? My he's grown up." He chuckled looking up at the monster. "Look at you, so big and strong."

Eclipse made a squeal indicating that he was appreciating the praise.

"Good to see you Mr. Callows." Merlot, liked Tyrian, he actually treated his son like a person, not a thing. "I apologize for interrupting your mission."

The assassin waved an arm in response. "Think nothing of it, after all I will be receiving the goddess's blessings." He giggled and looked at Eclipse.

He put his hand in his pocket and pulled out a strand of black hair.

"This should be all you need to find your target."

Eclipse took the hair and brought it to his face. His void face made a sniffing noise and looked towards where he can trace the scent.

"Now, go, use your strength in service of the goddess!"

Eclipse nodded and looked to his father.

Dr. Merlot smiled giving a loving smile. "Good luck son, go, use your new strength."

Eclipse's wings grew from his back and he flew off towards his next mission.

As he flew off Tyrian walked to the entrance of Merlot's lab ecstatic to get his own Soul Dust crystals.

Dr. Merlot remained standing looking where he can see Eclipse still flying getting smaller and smaller. He had reached faster speeds once again; he has come a long way. And he still has more room to grow.

More room to evolve.

Though he was looking forward to seeing him all grown up he was enjoying his infancy, seeing him coloring and playing with weapons and huntsman like they were toys.

It all felt like things he had missed, things he could have enjoyed if everything played out as they should have.

He couldn't help but remember back when he was frail and weak.

Now with science and Salem's support, he had done it, he had raised his son into what should be the next step in humanity's evolution.

One day all will be blessed with his genetics.

But Eclipse will be there to rule as king, as is his birthright.

Dr. Merlot pulled out a photo and wore a sad smile. His eyes almost watered looking at it, he hadn't in years since he lost everything.

"How I wish you could see how much he has grown."

It was a young woman with light green short hair and eyes.

"Luna" The mad scientist smiled thinking of the mother of her son.

Beacon Medical Room

After only two days Kron awoke feeling fine.

He sat up and took his bandages off.

His injuries had stopped hurting, there still some burn marks over his arms.

Marks he got protecting Blake.

He can feel his instincts telling him what a mistake it was, allowing the enemy to harm him instead of fighting for a weakling.

The Saiyan sighed, nevermind, he needed to focus on the task at hand, he stood up and started to put on his top and was now wearing most of his usual outfit.

"I see that your fully recovered."

Kron turned to see Ozpin standing in the doorway, he said nothing as he placed his clothes on.

Ozpin continued not bothered by the silence.

"The doctor said you had a few more days before you were ready to be discharged."

"Must be good genetics." Kron replied as he finished putting on his outfit. "Where's Yang?"

"In the Emerald Forest, training per your instructions." Ozpin said smiling.

The Saiyan was glad to hear she hadn't been slacking off while he was trapped in bed.

"Good I'll be going."

"Forgive me, but I must ask, did you enjoy the books I handed you?"

Kron stopped and glanced at him.

"I did" He admitted.

Ozpin smiled hearing that.

"As a history buff myself, I find it most enjoyable when I can relate to the historical figure I am reading."

So he did do it on purpose, in the past he would be angry but now. Now he didn't feel that way, more indifferent than anything.

"Right, thanks for the books, they were good time killers." Kron said as he was holding the books that Ozpin had given him.

"You're very welcome."

Kron was about to leave but he had to make sure.

"By the way, the next step in Yang's training, you won't get in my way."

Ozpin remembered that he mentioned where he wanted to take Yang's training next, he was a bit againts it at first, but it would definitely improve her fighting capabilities. Experience was the best teacher after all.

"Only if she doesn't want to take part in it."

And she probably will.

"Good"

Not only will he get her to grow stronger but he'll get some entertainment out of it.

He walked out into the hall and sees Blake.

Blake stopped surprised and looked at Kron.

"What are you doing? Don't you need more days to recover?" She crossed her arms and glared sternly like her mother would.

Kron didn't even get annoyed by her meddling this time and rose his arm.

"I'm fine Blake, my injuries are gone." He stated stretching to show that he was fine.

The Cat Faunus was surprised, but now that she thought of it, he did heal quicker than the doctor said back at Menagerie. She smiled and said. "Ok, well good, I'm glad you're alright."

Kron looked down at her and was about to go but first he asked. "Something wrong? Aren't you going to spy on me training Yang?"

Blake looked at him and thought about it.

"Normally I would but Ozpin also wanted to talk, to make sure there's no more White Fang running around Vale."

Kron rose an eyebrow.

"It's been two days, you cleared them out in that time?" He spent day after day looking for those bastards.

"There weren't many left, many left after Adam went 'missing.'" She responded.

"I see."

As Blake looked at Kron she couldn't help but think of what Adam had said, about their similar crimes and that he hasn't paid for them.

"Something wrong?" He asked finding her look strange.

"N-no, sorry, go, Yang's been eager to train with you again."

Kron couldn't help but notice there was something strange about her but shrugged.

"Alright" He turned and walked away.

As he did Blake watched him go, she shook her head. Adam would always do this, manipulate her by pointing at what someone else did, ignoring the good they did.

They aren't the same, she knows that.

He's proven that.

She sighed and sees Ozpin walking out of his infirmary room.

Hopefully that was the last of the White Fang in this city.

Emerald Forest

Kron walked into the Emerald Forest with his hands in his pockets.

He sees Yang firing her Ki blasts at a few boulders, small ones that were only stong enough to crack or break boulders.

She really was following his advice, good.

Yang stopped when she saw Kron and smiled.

"Hey, you feel better already?"

The Saiyan turned to see Yang walking to him. He remembered Qrow, how he almost killed him and taken someone from her. Guilt resurfaced but he was able to repress it, now isn't the time. He needs to focus on the experiment.

"Doesn't it look like it?"

"Right" Yang crossed her arms and remembered his explanation for an ability that he has. "So, feel any different?"

Kron thought of that and focused on his body, he felt lighter, his muscles felt sturdier. He's definitely gotten a bit stronger like he said but not too much stronger.

"Yeah, a bit." Kron said. "Give me a bit, I'm going to charge up my Ki."

The young woman nodded and watched wondering how much stronger he'll get.

He took a breath, he focused on his new Ki reserves and rose them to the surface. He yelled, his body glowed red, a shining red aura flew out, not Aura that Remnant's life forms can generate, but light generated from his Ki. It was barely visible due to him still having a low power level for Saiyan standards but it can still be seen.

Yang can feel a warmth from him, his Ki around his body, she looked at him coated in red light.

Kron looked at his hands, he opened and closed them feeling the power he gained.

"Ok, I can definitely feel a difference, I'm at least one fifth stronger than before. But just to be sure" Kron said to Yang and pointed a thumb at himself. "Hit me, so we know what we're working with."

Yang was taken out of her trance and she nodded. She pushed her fist into her palm ready to start.

The blonde doubted she could hurt him especially now, but she won't till she tries.

The blonde ran towards him with a fist cocked back enhanced with Ki and Aura.

She threw a punch across Kron's face.

Once the punch made contact it made a loud powerful sound, most huntsman would have lost half their Aura from that strike.

The girl cringed feeling pain in her hand , it was like she hit a body of steel.

Did he even feel that hit?

She looked at Kron's face and was shocked..

Her fist was embedded in his cheek and his head tilted, but he showed no signs of being in pain or even bothered by the punch.

Yang pulled back her fist fighting not to show that she was in pain.

"Damn, I don't remember your face being that hard."

Kron thought of the last time he allowed Yang to punch him across the face. She at least made his body move, now though he didn't move an inch only his head. He was right, he had gotten at least a 20% increase, meaning that it's going to be even harder to get Yang to get up to his level, even with the Maiden powers she will inherit.

"As I thought, we've got more work to do." Kron said looking at Yang planning an intense training regime that most would crumble to.

And somehow Yang knew it, whatever he has planned next it was going to be even tougher.

She squeezed her fists, and like always she was really excited.

Yang nodded and smirked. "So get teaching."

Atlas Military Base

There was several Grimm of all shapes and sizes, they each were trying to escape, to hunt for their pound of flesh.

"The exercise will begin." Someone announced.

The beowolves, ursa, and sabyr turned to see their prey.

In walked a woman in white armor with a black undersuit, and two large tuffs over her forehead.

She pulled out her sword.

The Grimm charged forward.

Sepia took a breath and slashed upward unleashing a slash of light.

The slash was larger than it should have been and slashed through a couple Grimm.

A sabre roared and tackled from behind.

Sepia jumped as it missed.

She's more agile to.

Sepia's Aura gloweed as she absorbed a large amount of light and reached her limit. At least her body's limit.

Her armor had given her Semblance a definite upgrade.

She closed her eyes as behind her back, two spheres floated from behind her back and at her sides.

Grimm charged at her from all sides.

Sepia then slashed with a large light slash, and the robotic spheres released light lasers at her side, burning through several of them.

A surviving Beowulf attacked from behind.

Only for one of the robotic spheres to fire a laser made of light and destroyed the Grimm through the head.

The Owl Faunus sighed as the spheres floated to her armors back and became apart of it again.

Sepia breathed in a sigh of relief and looked at her hands, the armor was a definite improvement of her abilities.

At first her armor was only enhancing her Aura and increasing it when she was being overwhelmed. But then it was personalized and furthered her abilities.

Before she had a limit on how much light her body can absorb before she would destroy herself. Even with her Aura increase she still had a limit.

Now her armor can compensate, by using small robotic spheres to release from her armor and used like extensions of herself. They carry the light she can't handle, even more so than her own body.

She remembered when she faced the monster, the Scourge of Anima.

Last time she lacked the ability to absorb all the light he's strange Semblance can produce.

This time she will be able absorb all of it, and unleash it back at him.

Suddenly the door opened interrupting her thoughts.

"I see the armor is settling well."

Sepia turned to see Ironwood still in bandages from the time he used the prototype Crusader Armor. "Yes sir, this armor it's amazing." She said looking over her armor. "Atlas truly is the strongest kingdom." She commented with a smile.

Ironwood had a proud smile.

"I must say I was skeptical of training and handing a foreigner our latest weaponry." If anyone ever told him he would, he'd likely report whoever said that to be in need of psychiatric care. But when he learned of her Semblance and it's ability to counter the Scourge of Anima's, he just couldn't pass this up. "However I am pleased that you came to me with your proposal."

After learning about her, he had to recruit her and her ambition to bring him down.

Sepia was happy to hear that, truthfully she was using him to get whatever she can to take down the monster. But as she leanred of the general and his disciline she began to admire him, it was truly an honor to work with him.

Even more so that he had given her the means to bring the Scourge down.

"Tell me, what made you come to us? What made you think we had the means to stop the Scourge?"

The young woman thought of why. She remembered the Scourge suggested to head to Atlas, since they managed to challenge him. For whatever reason he suggested it to get stronger, likely due to an enjoyment for battle.

She will put an end to the monster and ensure no one will face the pain she had to endure.

"General" Sepia sounded eager. "Does this mean that I am ready?"

Ironwood can tell what she was hoping for he frowned knowing she won't like what he has to say, she was impatient to hunt him down. Which can be a problem, he hoped that he had drove it in to her that she needed to be patient.

"Not for the Scourge but you are ready for your first mission."

Sepia was disappointed that she didn't get the chance to fight the monster now, but she knows it is in her best interest to listen to what he has to say. Even if she can't have vengeance yet but that was fine, as long as she can do some good. It was what she wanted, what her husband would have wanted.

"However you'll be please to know that it involves finding a certain someone, we believe they would have information on the Scourge's location." Ironwood explained. "Though in case, you happen to run into any trouble, I'd like you to take someone else with you."

Sepia nodded willing to do anything to take down the one who took her husband from her. "Very well, who Specialist Schnee?" She hadn't gotten to interact with her much, but she can tell that she was a truly disciplined warrior, she'd be a great aid against him.

"No, someone new." Ironwood replied. "She was supposed to head to Beacon not too long ago, but there was a change in plans."

"Beacon?" Sepia asked, then she remembered something an even she went to back when she was in Haven Academy. She began to grow disappointed. "You mean for the Vytal festival? Your sending me with a student?" Normally she wouldn't question the general with all he's provided.

The general wasn't angry at the question, it was a fair reaction. This was going to take some explaining.

"Not just any student." Ironwood rose an arm leading to someone entering the training room.

Sepia looked at her 'partner' and couldn't help but think how frail they looked.

It was a young woman with orange here and a black and green bow on top of her head. "Salutations, is it nice to work with you."

Emerald Forest

Days have passed and Kron had intensified her training just as he promised.

And as he hoped she was responding to it very well.

Yang yelled as she fired multiple yellow Ki shots.

For the next step in Yang's training Kron thought that in order to increase her Ki reserves he had her fire multiple Ki shots at different targets.

The balls of light were small and only really made marks on trees and cracks on rocks.

All of them were weak but it was the point, she was learning how to manage her energy blasts instead of firing all at once.

Also it will increase her Ki reserves in the long run.

As she fired Ki shots Kron watched while crossing his arms.

Watching her resolve, to getting stronger, refusal to stop was enjoyable.

This was all well and good, but she needed to learn more Ki techniques if she was going to increase her power.

Suppose he can move on to the next step.

"That's enough."

Yang stopped panting heavily.

"That it?" She panted. "I want to keep going."

Kron looked at her to see she was near the end of her rope, but still had no desire to stop.

"For your next step you'll be learning how to fly."

Yang looked surprised and smiled. "What? Seriously?" She asked excited.

The Saiyan shrugged.

"Yeah, I think you're advancing in Ki blasts fast enough, now's a good time for flight training."

Yang felt pumped for it, she's seen Kron fly all the time, doing it herself sounds so fun!

"Sweet!" She punched a hand into her palm.

Kron walked in front of Yang and floated a few feet off the ground.

He closed his eyes feeling his energy, just like he did when he had figured out how to actually wield Ki instead of naturally.

Once he gotten a good idea on what to do he looked at Yang and explained.

"Place your energy outward around your body, then let it lift you up." Kron explained.

He gave a clear explanation and she was able to visualize what he wanted her to do.

"Ok, wow you really stepped up your game as a teacher." Yang asked remembering how their training began. "Really happy to see you kicking again Kron, trainings more fun with you around."

Kron didn't show any visual reaction but it felt weirdly nice to hear her say that. Who know that the only people besides the Kali and Blake to make him feel this way would be Raven's daughter of all people.

As usual he wanted to push that feeling down.

But then he remembered that book.

Ironjaw was as brutal as any other Shark Faunus, he was the strongest among them. Yet he had found an attachment and didn't weaken at all.

His instincts started to cease, just a bit

"Just do it." Kron said annoyed remembering how she couldn't follow their first lesson.

Yang chuckled at his reaction, oh well he didn't have to be the nicest guy in the world.

She closed her eyes and focused on releasing her energy out of her body. She can feel it pouring out around her, she relaxed herself pushing everything aside like she did for Ki blasts.

And after a couple minutes, she floated a few centimeters off the ground

Then she floated higher a few inches then a couple feet and looked ahead at Kron.

The Saiyan was surprised at how quick she picked up flying, perhaps she was better suited to Ki then he thought.

Yang looked at Kron and on the ground. She chuckled and started to move.

But since she was new at flying she fell to the ground on her back.

"Guh" She grunted in pain.

Kron chuckled as he landed on the ground a few feet in front of her.

Yang growled getting up and glaring, her eyes turning blood red.

"Not bad for your first day of flying." Kron said honestly. "Let's get you soaring through the skies before the end of the month."

The blonde heard that and her eyes went back to purple, which Kron kind of regretted. He found the rage of her red eyes to be appealing.

"Right" Yang closed her eyes and tried to fly again.

"Hang on."

The blonde opened her eyes and looked at him.

"What? Is there something else?"

There is actually.

"Yeah, I got a new training method for you, more opponents for you to fight against."

Yang remembered the last time she had an opponent and was excited but also she wasn't really a fan of what happened given how uncomfortable Blake was.

"Your not going to abduct someone again right?"

The Saiyan chuckled remembering how easy it was to capture Adam.

"No, something better, you'r gonna have a good supply of them."

Yang wondered what he could've meant and before she could ask, she was grabbed. "Hey!"

Kron grabbed Yang's arm and flew dragging her as she yelled, demanding to know where they were going.

Far From Vale

Garnet had been sipping her wine and sighed.

Things have been a mess ever since Slate had been killed and she couldn't find any candidate able to take his place. There was no one strong enough to take on her trial and even if they were strong enough they couldn't attract many fans.

This must be how Daim felt before he had Kron as his champion.

Now she felt bad for making fun of the bald manager of the Golden Daggers.

Must be karma for trying to swindle his champion for herself.

She chuckled, and sighed.

Just then her office opened and she dropped her wine.

Her glass fell and cracked on the floor and spilled on her carpart.

She didn't even look to the door and stared at the ground for a few seconds, she sighed, wondering what idiot came to her office.

" I said not to distu-" She stopped as a familiar sight.

It was Kron without his mask standing with his arms crossed, next to him was a young blonde woman.

And Garnet recognized her, she remembered the picture of Raven's daughter she found from Junior's.

"Kron?" Garnet asked and looked at the girl. "W-what is this, I told you I can't do the deal, there's too many risks, please, don't do this."

Yang rose an eyebrow completely confused and looked at Kron. He made a deal with her? And it had to do with her? She'll have to ask him after... whatever this is.

"Yeah I know strange isn't it?" He asked eyeing Yang remembering their previous deal, to capture Yang and use her as bait for Raven after Beacon's first semester. Now that things have changed, doesn't mean he can't use the Dead End Arena. He turned back to Garnet and said his proposal.

"See, our deal went horribly wrong, after that I found her, things happened and now the situation has changed."

Garnet can tell just that, she looked at the young woman who seemed just as confused as she is, it didn't look like she was here againts her will.

Yang finally had enough of being silent.

"Can someone just tell me what's going on? Why am I here?"

Kron looked at her and said. "We're getting your next training ground ready."

Before the blonde could respond Kron walked by her side and looked at Garnet.

"I came with a new deal, but before that, I wanted to make up for the loss Slate, by giving you... "He grabbed Yang's arm and rose it. "Your next champion!"

Garnet's eyes widened, the Scourge was offering her a new champion. And it was Raven's daughter who he was planning to use to lure Raven to her arena?!

Yang looked confused looking at the red head and at Kron. "What?"

Far Away

Raven looked over the tracks they found.

Foot prints and they stop just before a cave.

Sienna looked to one of her men and tilted her head.

A dog Faunus sniffed close to the ground.

"Their scent continues deep in the cave, there still in there." He sniffed around.

Raven looked into the cave and her expression softened a bit. Before she had a stern face.

"Let's go deal with him." Sienna said walking inside.

"Wait"

The tigress stopped and turned to her partner.

"I'll go alone." Raven said with a determined look.

Sienna was confused when she heard that and crossed her arms.

"Why?"

Raven had seconds before she explained.

"There could be more, also they might be able to escape, you stay here in case they try."

The Tiger Faunus looked at her, she can't tell if she's lying or not. It's not like she's wrong, after a few seconds she replied.

"Fine I will remain, but remember above all else, we need to take the artifact."

Her life depended on it.

"I know"

Sienna nodded watching Raven go.

As she did an unassuming crow landed on top of the cave's entrance.

As Raven walked in she looked at the Pot that she and Sienna got so excited about. If the description fits, it can solve their problems. At least Kron, she wonders if it can work on Salem.

But still there needs to be a catch otherwise why wouldn't Ozpin use it on Salem? Able to die or not surely it would work on her.

She sees that the description is torn in half, meaning that she'll have to spend some time looking for the other half of the scripture to figure out what price or weakness it has.

Perhaps Salem has some sort of spell that prevents her from being affected and there are no drawbacks.

That would be favorable.

Otherwise she'll have to find a way around any drawback it may have.

Whatever the case she needed to settle things with the one who had taken the artifact.

She grit her weapon and sighed.

"Ooh, what's happening?"

Raven stopped in the middle of the cave and turned to who had said that.

It was the previous Maiden Cher floating beside her, after missing for almost a month.

"Where have you been Cher?" She asked the spirit that was haunting her.

"Back at the Spring City." She shrugged. "Sorry you got so lonely, but I lost interest, I was planning to wait until you finally get the guts to attack Kron."

Raven continued walking as her former protege floated behind her.

"Why the interest now?"

"Well, just a few seconds ago I felt something interesting coming from you." Cher explained. "Your anxious and.. sad?" She asked. "Been a bit since the last time I sensed ou were sad."

The former bandit didn't reply as she kept walking.

"Come on! You know who's in this cave right? Come on tell me! Tell me!"

Raven didn't respond as she walked deeper into the cave until she was in a huge cavern.

She sighed, it was time to get this over with.

"I know it's you, come out."

Cher looked at her strangely and looked around.

"Don't know why I try, I can never surprise you Rae."

Cher turned to the man who said that who was walking from a shadow.

"Rae?" The young girl asked as the man came to light.

Raven turned to the man.

He had blond hair and a stubble with blue eyes.

Dressed in a button shirt with a brown collar, a grey shoulder guard and a black tattoo on his left arm.

"Tai"

Cher was confused until she got a closer look at the man and he couldn't see her. She smiled, she remembered years ago, once Raven had watched this man with two children and didn't approach them, rather she left without them noticing.

The former Maiden turned to Raven and laughed.

"Oh, this is great, I'm gonna enjoy this." She said floating away and watching her face resting on her hands eager to see the drama.

Raven looked at the blonde and glanced around.

She sees what she was looking for.

It was the artifact, a silver pot with white inscriptions on the lid.

Good she can take what she was looking for, she focused on Taiyang.

"You've been busy Tai" Raven said with a frown. "What do you want from me?""

The blonde frowned and stood in front of the pot artifact she wanted.

"Rae" Taiyang said again. "We need to talk."

Yang's parents have finally reunited.

Taiyang has finally reunited with Raven. How will their confrontation go, will Taiyang convince Raven to give up her plans and rejoin their side?

Eclipse is now recovered and gotten stronger once again, just what kind of destruction is he going to cause?

And finally Kron's next step in Yang's training is to follow in his foot steps as an underground fighter! How far will she progress here? Will she be able to catch up to Kron's level in time to conclude their deal?

Find out next time on One's Own Path!

So funny thing, originally this saga was going to end at chapter 50, buuuut, I did not plan the pacing very well. Lol.

Ok, what happened was that I have plans to make the ending of the saga bigger than the last one but I did not manage it very well to only need 30 chapters. Feels like I wrote two sagas instead of one.

I guess I can make Ch 20 -40, The Hunt For Raven Saga. And 41-? The Deal Saga?Eh, not really feeling that name but oh well, I'm sure one of u can come up with a better name.

My goal was to finish the Raven business, Have Kron finally meet and bond with the cast and develop his character further finish by this chapter, but I stretched myself too thin and now i need more chapters to properly finish the arc.

I apologize for that, I do feel like I made this arc drag on too long but I hope u guys enjoyed it for what it is, I promise to be more careful planning the next arc and will do my best to make the ending of this arc worth it.

Now then, finally Taiyang has caught up to Raven, Eclipse is ready for another mission and Kron is going to try to throw Yang in the Dead End Arena.

For those who understandably don't remember. Originally, way back Kron had met with Garnet and made a deal to lure Raven to her arena, and he was going to use Yang to make that happen before he actually met her and formed this bond with her.

Now since things have changed so drastically, Kron has found a work around for him to have his revenge match againts Raven. Now he will fight Yang at Dead End Arena and lure Raven out if she fails to stop him.

So looks like Kron will have his arena match after all.

Now that Raven and Taiyang have met again how do u think that's gonna go? Raven's assuming that Tai is still not Maiden level but she doesn't know about the Void Vault so that'll be interesting if she chooses to just take the artifact.

As for Eclipse, I'm happy to say we will be seeing more of him, hope u guys look forward to that and more.

Review Responses

Bear295: Easy way to get to a Saiyans good side is through their stomach. Also huh, funny thing I actually thought of that back when I was coming up with the story so good thinking. Lol.

Guest: Guess u can think that if u prefer sub didn't think of that tbh.

Bashleyz: Basically, we saw what happened to someone that threatened Blake.

epantoja521: When I was writing Eclipse's character I tried to put in the innocence of fat Buu and a huge amount of loyalty. Eclipse has done horrible things but it's mostly to please his father and he views fighting as 'playing' even if it's to the death, he's basically a kid who doesn't know any better. As for Kron, he would probably use Eclipse to get what he wants but he won't decieve him into thinking their friends, he's not a fan of trickery and will be up front with what their relationship is like.

MysticSpider: I apologize, I prioritize getting the chapter over quality, I edited it and tried to be more careful with this one. Hope it was more readable.

ThatSaiyaGuy: Thank u, yep Kron has never liked staying in one place for long, it's sort of like what he went through back in Menagarie, and fighting his attachments he was forming. They were gonna have to show Kron what really happened with Qrow at some point, Ozpin used the opprotunity to clear that up.

Glad u liked how Kron and Weiss interacted. Weiss will put two and together at some point. Also yeah, the officials of Atlas did not wnat to make their military look weak and so they bended the truth quiet a bit.

Fortunately Ozpin made it clear not make it known that Kron is in the city, he has too much to gain with his deal with Kron and wouldn't want Ironwood to ruin it. They still have three months before the deal is done.

Kron does fit the description in what Eclipse is looking for. It would depend if Kron were to hurt Dr. Merlot, he'd definitely be enraged at that. Luckily whenever he's fighting his father's far away. Eclipse might be around for awhile and enjoy his innocence while u can, because at some point he's going to grow up. U know what they say about kids they grow up so fast.

Eclipse does seem to enjoy fighting as much as a Saiyan would so him fighting Kron over and over would be the most fun for him. He did want a friend to fight forever. They sure are and I enjoy reading them.

Yeah, it coorelates with what happened in canon, the only difference is Ozpin feels like he had to increase her power sooner because Salem is enhancing her forces, sooner or later she might have an army of Soul Dust users. Hopefully this will end better than in canon. Good thing Kron pretty much stopped the Fall of Beacon. So that's good at least.

And thank u I'm happy to hear that and hope u enjoyed this cahpter as well.

Lelouch of Zero: Possibly, they'd definitely have a lot of fun together. Let's just hope Kron doesn't press the Dr. Merlot button and Eclipse doesn't press the Kali/Blake button.

Glad u liked how Kron is starting to learn from his actions, hopefully this will stop any misunderstandings in the future.

Kron is starting to open up and accept that he's changing. Let's hope that it's for good. I'm happy to see that you enjoyed what I wrote for their interactions.

We're gonna have a lot of fights in the future with different methods and such.

Glad u enjoyed the chapter.

Runeion: PM'd u, don't worry about it for awhile it will be addressed and solved in the future.

Bunkerfreak: As much as I love the classic power up scenes we get in dbz, we gotta remember Kron isn't at that level yet so it's not going to be exactly the same, I tried to do it but with not as much as we see in dbz, but don't worry we'll have that in the future. Also I'm happy to see your enjoying the chapters and will do my best. All I'm going to say is that Kron will use the Oozaru at some point, I won't say win but I promise that it will be epic. Hope u look forward to it.

triscythe: We'll see Kron hates it when someone tries to do something behind his back, let's hope whatever happens he doesn't react badly like with Menagarie.

Ok that's all I have to say.

Hope u guys look forward to more chapters and I can end this as best I can.

Have an awesome day! :)
