One's Own Path: Eclipse
Summary: This is Eclipse way back in Ch 21 when he sparred with Cinder and was destroyed only to regenerate and recieve a much needed upgraded. I wanted him to look as fragile as possible to start him off weak only to make his evolutions more meaningful.
Eclipse Stage 2
Summary: This is Eclipse's current appearance as of Ch 35 after he ripened his first batch of Soul Dust and had matured a bit. I basically combined Skull Knight from Beserk with Doomsday from DC, to make the Apex of Grimm. This is also his current appearance only he might be a bit bigger.
Hope you at least liked the designs let me know what u think and now your able to see what Eclipse looks like.
This chapter is a bit different than the rest, hope you'll still enjoy.
Inheritance
Taiyang had been told to prepare for any of the artifacts Raven might have collected. While she hadn't pulled any of them out yet, he was wary of any new weapons she might possess and had read a good bit about them.
After he had reached this level he thought only Maidens reach it, he thought no one besides them, could challenge him or Qrow. Excluding Salem and the Scourge of course.
But looking at what intruded on their fight somehow made him doubt that. He hadn't seen this creature but somehow he felt like this Grimm was a threat.
Raven looked at the strange-looking Grimm, she couldn't identify what it was. Also, it had green eyes instead of red, no doubt whatever this thing is, was made by Salem. Perhaps a countermeasure to Kron.
Qrow recognized it right away and held up his scythe.
"Careful, this thing isn't normal."
Raven eyed her brother.
"Friend of yours?"
"I found it while I was taking care of Hazel," Qrow said eyeing the creature and glanced at Raven. "So, you wanna deal with this thing first, then go back to our reunion?"
Raven looked at Qrow and over at Taiyang who seemed to be focused on the thing that entered.
Eclipse had a green smile, not believing his luck. Three new toys just for him!
He wondered who he should play with first. The creature glanced around.
The target is the mean-looking lady. She'll be the most fun toy to play with. He needs to save him for last.
He then looked at the yellow one, he had his arms up with fists. So he doesn't need a weapon like most, he'll be fun too.
Eclipse then glanced at the final toy, the birdman. He's fun, but he's a cheater with a dumb Semblance.
He'll play with him first, and break him!
Eclipse roared as he dashed towards Qrow.
Qrow's eyes widened as it came at him.
He wanted to counter, but he couldn't it was too fast.
So the huntsman pulled a trigger turning his scythe into a long sword and raising it to block.
Eclipse appeared in front and slammed his fist into Qrow's sword.
The huntsman was sent back and crashed into the wall behind him, he looked up to see Eclipse still charging at him.
Taiyang ran forward in an attempt to save his partner but this monster was too quick.
Eclipse was already in front of Qrow and was about to attack again.
But then out of nowhere the monster was blasted by a fireball to the side and launched away.
The creature landed fine, he wasn't too damaged and looked at who attacked him.
Qrow glanced over at Raven who had her hand aimed where Eclipse stood.
Raven put her hand down, glared at Qrow, then at Taiyang, and back at the monster.
"Fine, just so you know, this won't change a thing," Raven said.
"Fine by us," Taiyang said as he looked at Qrow standing by Raven's side.
"At least we get to do things like old times," Qrow said holding up Harbinger.
Raven looked at her former teammates and stared at the beast.
Eclipse still had a smile despite the interruption, his toys were going to work together. That's fine, the longer they take to break the more fun he will have!
Team _TRQ was on guard waiting to figure out what to do about this thing.
Just then Eclipse reared back his nevermore wings and flung them releasing nevermore feathers at the three.
Qrow ducked underneath and rolled away.
Raven avoided and slashed threw one of them.
Taiyang punched these feathers releasing explosions to block.
Just then Eclipse was already in front of him.
Taiyang threw a fist glowing yellow and punched into his gut, creating an explosion in its abdomen.
The Grimm stumbled a bit, but not as much as the huntsmen would have liked.
Qrow then got behind Eclipse and swung his Harbinger sticking the blade into his stomach.
Eclipse looked down to see it impaled him where Taiyang had struck him.
The blonde then uppercut him releasing another explosion and forcing the monster to look up.
Raven then jumped in and slashed Omen across Eclipse's neck.
And Eclipse's neck showed a deep cut but almost immediately it closed like nothing happened.
She clicked her tongue, she was trying to behead this thing, and she used all her magic and Aura into that.
"Like I said this thing isn't normal," Qrow told the two. "Don't stop!"
Taiyang listened to him and smashed his fists into the ground to create a powerful explosion beneath Eclipse.
Raven then fired a combination blast of fire and lightning magic to make the explosion stronger.
The combined blast illuminated the cavern and shook the place.
Qrow looked at the smoke that their combined explosion created.
Taiyang glanced at Raven wondering if she was going to attack now the monster seemed to have been taken care of.
Careful as always the former bandit waved her hand releasing a gust of wind.
The smoke cleared and to their disappointment, the monster wasn't destroyed.
Eclipse stood fully intact with no injuries.
And he seemed to smile and let out what they can only describe as a twisted child's laughter.
"Figures," Qrow said as Raven dashed after Eclipse.
The woman raised her red Fire Dust blade and tried to slice through its neck again.
Eclipse was fast enough to react and raise his arm to block.
Raven's eyes widened, she didn't hold back with that strike and it could defend itself. Was she that tired from her fight?
The Mutant Grimm swiped his fist across Raven's face forcing her to stumble back, he then tried to swing again.
Only for Taiyang to jump in and throw a fist across the monster's face.
The creature's head only turned and he was about to retaliate. But then Qrow came behind and tried to attack.
Eclipse growled as he ducked underneath his scythe's swipe, his deathstalker tail rose and was about to strike.
But Qrow raised his blade to block the stinger.
Taiyang threw a fist across his head.
And Raven rose her blade across.
Again Eclipse blocked it with the spike of his forearm.
The monster then opened his mouth and it glowed green.
Raven pulled back her blade and jumped back.
Taiyang and Qrow did the same.
Eclipse fired hard light Dust beam and moved his head horizontally.
The huntsmen and former huntress avoided the beam of light.
Taiyang looked over at Raven and raised one hand, then looked to Qrow.
Both siblings nodded their heads as if understanding.
This time Taiyang ran towards the monster without using his Semblance.
Eclipse tried to throw a fist towards the blonde's face.
Immediately Taiyang ducked.
Behind him, a red katana and black scythe were swung horizontally.
The blades slashed across the monster's chest forcing it to stumble.
Taiyang threw a fist into the same place it was cut forcing it to stumble again.
Eclipse roared and threw a kick aimed at the blonde's legs.
The huntsman jumped and threw a punch across Eclipse's face, then he threw two more into his stomach, not even using his Semblance, not wanting to waste Aura.
Even without his Semblance, his Aura-enhanced blows were enough to force the monster to keel over.
Taiyang threw a straight punch into the monster's face making it stumble and Taiyang finished with with another punch to his body, this time causing an exploding and forcing it to be propelled back.
Eclipse roared and tried to run to throw a punch for the assault.
But as it did Raven appeared behind the mutant and slashed across his arm with a light blue blade.
Eclipse stopped as his whole right arm was covered in ice, he raised a clawed arm to strike Raven's abdomen.
Only for Qrow to appear at his left and slash at the beast's left shoulder, he grimaced as he barely had the strength to strike with enough force to pierce its hide.
Eclipse had his arms restricted one by ice, and the other by a scythe. He was about to break free.
But then Taiyang was already in front and punched the mutant Grimm straight in the face, and it exploded on impact.
The force propelled Eclipse backward and skidding across the ground and into the cavern wall, with one arm missing, still impaled by Qrow's scythe and the other coated in ice.
Eclipse stood up, flexed his ice-covered arm and it was free.
Then the arm that was impaled by Qrow's scythe moved on its own using the fingers to move forcing the scythe to be pulled out. The huntsman looked surprised as the arm on its own moved to the monster and reattached as nothing happened.
"Did you see it do it last time you fought it?" Taiyang asked walking to Qrow's side.
"Kinda, its arm didn't move on its own though that's new," Qrow explained.
"Then this time I'll blow it to smithereens," Taiyang said punching into his palm.
Raven walked by his side and glared at him.
"It won't be that simple." She said placing her blade in its sheath. "We don't know what else this thing can do, we need to obliterate every scrap of it, piece by piece." She said eyeing the monster.
Then once Raven put Omen in its sheath and put her hands on the huntsmen's shoulders.
Tai looked confused, while Qrow was slightly panicked.
"What are you doing?" The reaper was worried she was turning on them after all.
"Renewal" Raven chanted the spell she learned from the Grimoire she found.
Both Taiyang and Qrow glowed red, and the injuries they got from their fight started to close. Not all of them but they noticeably felt better.
"What'd you do?" Taiyang asked looking at his body to see a good amount of his injuries seemed to have healed.
Raven let go of them and put her hand on a handle strapped to her back instead of her sword.
"Something I picked up from one of the artifacts I found," Raven explained staring down the monster in front of them. "Don't thank me remember it's back to business when we finish."
"Be disappointed if it wasn't." Taiyang chuckled looking at their foe.
Eclipse stood tall and looked at the three. These toys were fun, together they were hard to break. He smiled again as if he wasn't in danger despite these three doing all the damage so far.
Dr. Merlot's Island
Dr. Merlot was working on an operating table, not on a body but a metal exoskeleton, putting wires together and securing some bolts.
He had an indifferent expression as he did like he was unhappy with something. He looked to the screen to see through the eyes of Eclipse through the communicator he placed on him.
From the screen, he can see not just Raven but two others, Qrow Branwen and a blonde that he did not recognize.
He can see glowing fire in Raven's eyes, meaning that she is a Maiden which surprises him.
As he watched the screen he kept working until a floating eyeball with tentacles floated behind him.
The eyeball opened revealing an image of Salem.
"Something wrong doctor?"
Dr. Merlot turned to Salem's Seer and kneeled.
"Nothing you need worry about Madam." Dr. Merlot replied. "I only wish that Eclipse was able to fight the Scourge of Anima, he's been looking forward to it for a long time, and I was looking forward to seeing him measure up to him."
He had made his son the strongest Grimm in the world and wanted him to destroy the Scourge now to prove that he has become the mightiest creature on Remnant.
Salem didn't react angrily, rather she smiled.
"Quite a doting father you are." She said looking at the monitor observing the battle. "Doctor, I understand that Eclipse has come a long way since the day he was reborn, however, the Scourge, Kron has proven beyond our expectations multiple times. We need to be absolutely sure that Eclipse is as strong as he can be, before meeting him. What better way to test him than a Maiden?"
Dr. Merlot nodded in understanding, even though he wished success to his son, he cared more for his safety.
"But my lady how did you know Raven was a Maiden? She wasn't active for nearly a decade."
Salem smiled looking at the glowing fire in Raven's eyes and turned to the mad scientist.
"It made sense, given that Kron had been able to fight the Winter Maiden in Atlas and had successfully beaten down one Soul Dust user, and two ripened Soul Dust users made it clear that his power is not normal." She reasoned. "Not to mention as a child not long after Kron and Hazel fought, Hazel's strength was treated like a child showing an accelerated growth rate, and was by Raven's side at the time, which resulted in putting her into a coma."
"Meaning that Raven had to outclass Hazel by a bit at the time for someone like Kron to be at her side," Salem said smiling. "Also the Branwen Tribe has not been doing well ever since Raven's defeat, Lionheart had told me that the Spring Maiden had gone to the Branwen tribe, if she was then it would make sense for them to not be doing well after she was exiled, wouldn't it?"
The scientist couldn't help but recognize these deductions as clues. She was right, for someone like the Scourge's strength to be under Raven's command it wouldn't make sense if she wasn't stronger than him at least at the time. Especially given that back in those days he was a murderous monster unlike whatever he is today.
"And now look." Salem gestured to the monitor showing Eclipse's three opponents specifically Raven.
"Not only is she a Maiden but now she is Fully Realized, she has successfully made the magic her own." Salem smiled. "No doubt she is the strongest out of all the Maidens, meaning she will be the perfect final test for your son before he meets with our biggest problem, wouldn't you agree?"
Dr. Merlot looked at the screen. "Yes, your grace."
He watched the screen smiling like a proud father at how it takes the strongest of Maidens and two enhanced huntsmen to combat him.
He is living up to his and Salem's expectations.
First her, then the Scourge of Anima.
Far Away Cavern
Eclipse looked at all his toys and let out a demonic squeal prepared for another round of fun!
This trio was bewildered, the more they fought this thing, the more it acted like a child.
The mutant then pulled back his arms and stretched them heading towards Taiyang and Qrow.
The duo jumped out of the way. As the two stretched punches hit the cavern walls.
As they did Raven pulled out what looked like a baton.
She used her enhanced speed and appeared right in front of Eclipse with her blade pulled out and tried to swipe and try to slash its throat again.
But Eclipse opened his mouth and bit the blade in his sharp teeth. Ignoring the electricity, it was generating.
Raven immediately kicked his crowned forehead forcing the creature to let go of her blade and she flipped back.
Eclipse's arms stretched back while Qrow came in front and tried to slice across the abdomen.
But his superior speed raised an arm to block it with his bone armor.
Taiyang then came to the brutish Grimm's side and threw a fist.
Only for Eclipse's Deathstalker tail to strike.
The huntsman stopped and crossed his arms. His wristbands, Ember Terra, combined into a larger shield, which took the impact of Eclipse's stinger and was pushed back.
Qrow pulled back his scythe and tried to swing up across his abdomen.
But Eclipse punched Qrow across the face forcing the huntsman to fall on his back.
During that he looked up to see Raven with her sword put away and her hand on her back.
She pulled the bow in it's compact form and pressed the button. It formed into the Dusk Dawn Bow again.
She held the bow with the moon symbol and pulled the bowstring.
An arrow made of ice was sent to Eclipse.
It struck Eclipse's legs trapping them in ice.
Just as he was about to break it another ice arrow struck his tail trapping it in ice and on the ground.
Momentarily trapped Qrow took advantage and used his speed to slash with his scythe across the cavern in multiple angles.
Eclipse roared as his body was opening up from the barrage of slashes across his body.
Qrow finished the barrage by heading straight to Eclipse and pressed a button on his scythe changing it into a longsword, he then stabbed it into Eclipse's stomach.
Eclipse roared as he rose his arms and was about to slam them into his head.
But Raven got behind Eclipse and grabbed his arms, turning them into ice.
The monster raged as it was mostly covered in ice.
"Now!" She yelled as she flew up.
Qrow smiled as he pulled the trigger multiple times of his longsword still impaled with in the beast.
Eclipse felt multiple shots in his abdomen, each powered by fire Dust shots.
He was then sent flying from the up-close impact of these shots.
Taiyang then ran behind the monster and punched into its spine.
He then pulled back jumped and punched down the back of the skull of the monster.
The huntsman then jumped to the front of the beast and punched into the creature's abdomen multiple times, each punch forcing the creature up and off its feet.
Taiyang threw one last punch this time empowered by an explosion.
As a yellow explosion appeared Eclipse was sent upward out of the smoke. Before he could recover, Raven flew up with her sword out and slashed with a lightning Dust blade in multiple areas, his wings, his tail, his arms, legs, and head were still attached but there cuts all over with electricity seeping all over his body.
Now it was vulnerable.
Raven had her chance, now it was time. She put her blade back and aimed her hands down, empowered by lightning and fire on each side.
But then it kicked a knee into her stomach.
The former huntress's eyes widened, she looked down to see again the creature was still hole, only his bone armor was cracked, but the cracks were starting to fade.
Even its bone armor regrows? Ridiculous!
Eclipse smiled, as he pulled back his knee and punched her back sending her to the ground.
Qrow immediately got behind him with his sword turned back into a scythe and was about to slash.
But Eclipse was faster and gripped the blade like Raven had.
His eyes widened as the monster then slammed his head into the huntsman's face launching him away.
And Taiyang roared as he threw a punch aiming for the beast's side.
Immediately Eclipse slammed his tail across Tai's body sending him flying with a slash across his body.
Just as he did Raven recovered and pulled on the Dusk Dawn Bow, releasing fire arrows this time aimed at his back.
The creature's senses were able to pick it up and flew up making the arrows miss without it looking.
As Eclipse floated, he pulled back his wings and pushed releasing many nevermore feathers across the cavern.
And they were faster.
Qrow even with his speed was impaled to the wall by the shoulder. "Gaaah!"
And Taiyang rose his arms to make a shield to block them but the feathers impaled and impaled one of his elbows.
"Grr!" He yelled in pain.
Raven was the only one quick enough to avoid them being a Fully Realized Maiden gave her quicker speed than even Qrow.
She looked at her two former teammates affected by the attack.
With those injuries they won't be able to fight like they have been.
Raven then turned to the monster.
It was making a noise, and it sounded like a demonic child's laughter.
This thing was laughing while fighting them.
Just then when she blinked, she saw a certain nine year old 'Monkey Faunus' in the monster's place.
She walked by Qrow who was ripping out the nevermore feather.
"You can still fight?"
Qrow rubbed his shoulder.
"I'm fine, thanks for worrying sis." He said sarcastically.
"Tai?" Raven looked over at her former lover.
Taiyang let go of the feather that was stabbed into his arm.
"I'm good." He looked at the laughing creature. "That came out of nowhere, did it get stronger?"
It seemed that way, those strikes and feathers were faster and stronger than the last time they felt attacks from it.
"No, it didn't." Raven said. "It stopped holding back."
Taiyang looked surprised hearing that.
While Qrow held up his weapon and glanced at Raven.
"No way, I don't care what this thing is, Grimm are all about killing as quick as they can, they don't play with their food, hell they don't even eat, they fight to kill, they don't care about playing just death."
Raven eyed the beast and glanced at her brother.
"Grimm are also not supposed to have green eyes." She pointed out and looked at the creature that was acting like a giddy child. "Or act like that."
She was right, whatever this monster isn't normal at all. Why would it? Clearly Salem created it, but why would she have it act like a child?
"If it's still playing then we need to take it down now." Taiyang reasoned as he punched both hands into the ground making the ground glow yellow.
And Eclipse reacted by flapping his wings as the ground beneath him exploded.
Raven pulled out the Dusk Dawn Bow and pulled the string releasing multiple fire arrows.
It was too swift and evaded all the arrows causing fire explosions throughout the cavern.
And Qrow used Harbinger's gun component.
Eclipse was dodging all the same.
Raven stopped firing her bow and looked at her former teammates. "I'll get him on the ground back me up. "
She pulled out her sword and flew up to the monster.
Eclipse looked at Raven heading for him and glanced to see the yellow man with his fists aimed at the ground, and the birdman aiming his sword at him.
He chuckled knowing what to do.
As soon as Raven was within striking distance, her target seemed to have vanished.
She barely followed it's movements and couldn't keep up.
"Gah!"
Her eyes widened as she turned.
Taiyang was keeled over as Eclipse was in front of him with a fist in his stomach.
Raven couldn't believe, it, he barely saw him move.
Qrow yelled as he swung with his scythe.
And the monster watched as Qrow got closer, once he was within striking distance the mutant backflipped. He kicked up the huntsman's chin as he flipped.
This sent the huntsman flying and crash against the wall, the huntsman ended up spitting blood and his red Aura was threatening to shatter.
Just then Eclipse noticed a wave of lightning heading for him.
He evaded the hit and looked at Raven, and spat a wave of Hard Dust at her.
Raven tried to move but the blast was too quick and hit her side, it was enough to send her skidding across the ground.
Taiyang while grabbing his stomach tried to punch the ground to send an explosion to the monster.
But a large black hand gripped his wrist before he could.
Taiyang looked up to see the monster was already in front of him.
Eclipse had a green smile as he decided to show the yellow man what he learned from watching him.
He threw a punch across the huntsman's face with greater force then he did before, he then threw two more punches into Taiyang's stomach forcing him to keel over with blood coming out of his mouth.
As he spat blood Taiyang recognized the movements, he wasn't just throwing punches around like a beringel.
Eclipse then threw a straight punch to the huntsman's face making him stumble, and he finished with another punch to his body forcing the huntsman to be sent flying and crashing against the cavern wall.
Taiyang coughed blood as the monster finished that assault. Those movements, they were the same he performed. He copied the combo he delivered after only seeing it once.
"Tai!" Raven yelled as she ran towards him.
Eclipse smiled seeing that she wanted to play to.
Taiyang chuckled, funny, she sounded worried. That was the only Brightside of this situation.
Raven was actually focused on Taiyang and dashed towards him.
But then the monster blitzed in front of her.
With a growl, the woman pulled out Omen with an Ice Dust blade and swung at its legs.
But the brutish monster jumped and kneed her in the face.
This forced Raven's head to go back.
Then Eclipse spun and kicked her across the face.
The strike made Raven stumble.
Once Eclipse landed, he uppercut her in the stomach sending Raven upward and slam into the cavern ceiling.
Just then he sees a crow flying to his side.
He roared and slammed his fist down at it.
The crow dodged and shifted back into Qrow, with his scythe and tried to slash at his arm.
Only for Eclipse to block with his wing, the hardy feathers made for a good shield.
Raven pulled herself out and tried to go down with a slash down with a yellow Lightning Dust blade.
Dr. Merlot's son looked at the bird man and slammed a fist into Qrow's stomach, making cracking noises and sending him flying.
He then rose his arms and blocked the sword slash before it could reach his head.
Raven pulled back her blade, sheathed it and pulled out a Fire Dust blade and tried to behead the monster again.
Only for Eclipse to block it again while still smiling.
She then pulled and pierced into his chest.
Eclipse merely swiped up with his death stalker tail forcing Omen out of her hands and being sent flying until it pierced the cavern wall above.
She looked up at her blade trapped in the cavern ceiling and up at the monster that was smiling.
The former bandit was right, whatever this thing was playing with them. Like they were playthings and not three of the strongest warriors on Remnant.
Eclipse rose one arm and threw a punch.
Raven couldn't dodge and so held up her arms using her magic to enhance her Aura's defense.
The strike sent her propelling back and hit the ground.
She got on one knee and held out the Dusk Dawn Bow. "Qrow, you get Omen I'll-" She stopped when she looked at her brother.
He wasn't moving and his eyes were closed.
His eyes were open but he was definitely out of it.
"Damn it" Raven looked straight to see the monster walking forward still smiling.
She spun her bow switching it to the side with the moon mark. She pulled the bow string multiple times releasing many Ice Arrows.
Eclipse continued walking forward as his legs, one of his wings and tail were coated in ice.
And all he had to do was flex his body to break the ice.
Eclipse frowned as he kept walking. This was getting boring she was starting to get boring and desperate.
Raven stopped wasting time with her bow, she knew at this distance her shots weren't powerful enough. The Dusk Dawn Bow's strikes were stronger the greater the distance, in a cavern even as spacious as this, the range doesn't provide her with the power needed to kill this thing.
Eclipse made a noise that sounded like whining. He was disappointed with how his new toy was breaking and wanted to keep playing with it.
Raven tried to backcrawl away from the best, she was injured throughout the battle, and not long after she recovered.
She placed a hand on herself where she was the most wounded.
"Renewal"
For the second time, she healed her injuries, but at a cost, she was losing a good bit of magic.
She looked at the monster that was tilting its head.
Eclipse smiled seeing his strongest toy to be fixing herself. He let out a demonic squeal as he walked forward looking forward to play again.
Raven took a few steps back, she couldn't win. If it wasn't for their previous fight, they would have been able to destroy it.
No.
Even if they all were at 100% from the start, the result would have been the same.
She felt this thing's strike, it took a good amount of her Aura and her magic was reaching its limit. Not to mention that spell drained her more than she thought.
If only she had more time to learn the spells of the Grimoire.
Eclipse kept walking forward wanting to play with her more, he wondered what else will his toy try.
Raven thought of what to do, anything else she can try to stop this thing. She glanced at Qrow, he was barely twitching unable to get up, and glanced at Taiyang.
He looked to be in even worse shape, he didn't even look like he was concious.
Neither of them can continue fighting.
She stared up to see a small hole in the cavern top, small enough that a bird can fly through.
Raven looked at her former teammates and at the monster that was getting close.
Fear gripped her heart just as it had the first time she had failed her father as a child. And came face to face with Her.
There was only one option.
Raven ran forward still holding the Dusk Dawn Bow.
Eclipse noticed that and was confused. Why was she getting close with a weapon that shoots? Shouldn't she fire it? That's boring, now he might break his toy after all.
He rose a fist in an attempt to strike when she was in range.
And Raven aimed a hand down as she was a foot away from the monster, she fired lightning from her hand causing an explosion of dust to surround the two.
Eclipse made a growl. Dumb mean lady, he could still smell her.
Just then a beam of ice hit his face encasing his head in ice.
Raven then kicked across his frozen face forcing his head back.
She then turned into a bird and flew up, with her talons she grabbed Omen and continued to fly out.
Until she made it through the hole that she spotted.
All the while Cher who had been silent ever since the mutant Grimm arrived had a frown on her face as she glanced at Raven's former teammates.
She really was a cold bitch was her final thought as Raven made it through the hole.
As Raven made her exit Eclipse stood in the dust, he grabbed his face and shattered the ice freeing it.
Qrow was concious and saw what happened.
He blinked many times, tried to move, tried to pinch himself to wake up.
No. She didn't. Not again.
Did she?
He looked up at the hole above.
After the beating Taiyang gave him.
After experiencing vision after vision of his memories of their childhood.
Realizing that of the twins of Corvus Branwen, he was the one that was the more bloodthirsty of the two when they were children. He was loyal to a man who had no love for his children and none for a sister who had love for him.
From those visions he had seen, he thought that there was more to his sister. That if he could grow from a bandit into a true huntsman so can his sister.
She can grow just as he had.
But watching Raven fly through that rock shattered that belief.
She ditched them.
Again! How he overestimated her he will never know.
He looked down from the hole at the monster she left them alone with.
Eclipse looked at the hole too, but he didn't see her go. But he could smell her scent, he was able to across the ocean after all. Finding her will be easy.
He turned to the birdman and the blonde man. Father said not to leave witnesses alive, he can chase the mean woman, first, he'll end them then go after her. Sad, he liked these toys they were strong.
The monster looked at the yellow man and walked to kill him first.
Qrow grunted as he forced himself up by stabbing his weapon into the ground.
Most of his bones were fractured, he had to move now. Otherwise, the girls will lose their father along with their mother. Their REAL mother.
He sees the monster approaching his partner.
With no other choice, he aimed his longsword at the beast.
Hopefully, when Tai wakes up he'll be able to escape somehow. At the very least he'll buy him a few seconds of life.
His finger squeezed the trigger.
Just as Eclipse rose his arm to end the blonde man his harm was coated in flames, and he tilted his head. He turned to where the strike came from.
Qrow looked confused that didn't come from him. He glanced up to the hole Raven had escaped to.
More arrows of fire and ice came from the hole.
Each one struck the mutant in various places either covering him in flames or ice.
Eclipse made a demonic squeal, his target didn't run after all. And it looked like she wasn't done yet, his strongest toy was ready to be played with again.
With a twisted giggle, he flew up breaking threw the ice blew away the flames from his body, and flew upwards.
Eclipse crashed through the top of the cavern leaving the two extras alive.
Qrow looked stunned, his sister hadn't ditched them after all. She was going to lure him to her!
That he didn't see coming.
He chuckled and coughed up some blood. Still, he felt happy seeing his sister actually do something noble.
Little good that does though, he was starting to have trouble seeing, His vision was darkening and he seemed to have lost consciousness.
Funny that his final thought before he was knocked was hoping that his sister found a way to get away from that thing.
Raven had held her bow over the hole she flew out of in her bird form and looked in front to see the ground break as the monster jumped out.
Beside her Cher had looked confused, she was sure that she had just escaped using her two former teammates as bait.
That surprised her a bit.
She looked ahead along with her to see the mutant Grimm staring her down with a green smile.
Raven looked at the beast and placed a hand on Omen.
Again she felt it, just like with Her.
But also.
She looked at the monster that smiled at her. In its place, she saw a much smaller boy with a monkey tail.
The glee in its eyes in the middle of battle.
It's just like his.
Just like Kron's.
She sighed, she could have escaped. Could have opened a portal to Ozpin in secret and flown off to safety.
Instead, she chose to prioritize their lives.
After she had basically left Qrow to die at Kron's hands.
She remembered feeling how close they were together.
She told herself that Qrow had chosen to follow Ozpin and ignored her warnings. So it was his choice to die.
And that both she and him would have died if she even tried saving him.
And Tai, Tai should be the same. Both chose to be pawns to Ozpin so she should prioritize her own safety.
But she couldn't. Seeing them again, being reminded of everything she's done, she couldn't leave them again.
Raven backed away looking at the monstrous brute walking towards her. It was almost as large as Hazel and far more dangerous.
The monster ran towards her with a speed she could barely track.
The former bandit leader was barely able to telegraph the brute's fist before she ducked and slashed at his abdomen.
Again she barely did any physical damage.
Eclipse punched down aiming for the top of her head.
And she backflipped as he punched the ground.
It wasn't using any real attacks from a true fighter, no doubt it was playing with her again.
Just like he would be.
She thought back to her time with the tribe, her time with Kron.
Kron had always thrown predictable attacks when they sparred and she would always lecture the importance of keeping your opponent guessing instead of just throwing the same attacks over and over.
Eclipse stretched his arms forward trying to catch her.
Raven pulled out Omen showing a dark orange blade and slashed across the ground. It created a wall of rock. She then turned into a bird and flew off.
The wall she created shattered showing the mutant Grimm still following her.
Once she had a good distance away Raven shifted back to normal as the hands were close to reaching her and she was far away from the main body.
She aimed the Dusk Dawn Bow at the monster. She then pulled the string with the Sun mark up.
An arrow of flame was released and it was going farther than it had before today.
Eclipse looked up to see another arrow made of fire heading for him. It was getting bigger and bigger as it was getting closer.
He made a twisted laughter, did the mean lady have more to give him? That's great, he can have even more fun!
The flame arrow grew to the size of a spear and struck his chest. His body burst into flames.
Raven watched as its arms pulled back into the monster's sides.
She landed on the ground breathing heavily.
This bow really was worth taking. She wondered how it would have done against Kron.
Guess she won't find out.
Raven aimed her bow towards where she hit the monster again.
And to her surprise, Eclipse wasn't there, only fires that her bow had caused.
She had a fear-stricken face and slammed her bow down.
All this.
Everything she's done has led to this.
All the harm she caused for her 'family', that she had sacrificed motherhood for. Twice. And it turned out for nothing.
She got exiled because she tried to increase her tribe's power by learning Kron's ability.
And she betrayed him, took something he had gained for her own gain.
Causing her to lose the chance to raise a child again.
Her thoughts drifted to Yang. The baby that she wanted to raise in her tribe. 'For her own good.' She knew deep down that she had allowed her fear to control her actions, it drove her away from raising Yang alongside Taiyang away from her 'family' because she always thought Salem's victory was inevitable and surviving the Branwen way would be their best chance.
She remembered what her father had drilled into her and Qrow's skulls over and over again.
The strong live and the weak die.
What bullshit.
Raven stood up and glanced at the spirit beside her.
Cher had a strange look on her face, she didn't seem happy at all.
The current Spring Maiden chuckled at her.
"What's with the long face Cher? This is what you wanted right?"
Cher was surprised to hear that. Raven the biggest coward she met was accepting her death? No that can't be. Is this even Raven?
Just then a large figure landed behind her.
Raven turned slowly and saw the mutant Grimm still standing with a hole in its chest.
Eclipse looked down at the mean woman as the hole in his chest closed like nothing happened.
Even though she knew it was hopeless Raven pulled out her blade in an attempt to at least wound it one more time before she was taken to Salem.
And Eclipse grabbed the mean woman's sword-wielding arm and squeezed. It caused cracking sounds.
Raven screamed from the pain as she felt her arm being crushed within its monstrous grip. Her eyes glowed a greater firey as she aimed her other arm and released, fire, frost, and lightning anything to force this monster to free her.
Eclipse made a whining noise. It looks like this toy was done as none of these attacks were hurting him.
Dr. Merlot's Island
Through the monitor, they can see Raven, a Fully Realized now rendered helpless by Eclipse's hands.
Dr. Merlot cackled madly.
"Yes! Yes! Oh, my precious boy look at how you've grown!" Dr. Merlot laughed loudly. "A Fully Realized Maiden cannot stop you! You are top of the food chain! Nothing can stop you! Nothing can take you away from me!"
By his side, the Seer's eye shows Salem smiling. A fully realized Maiden stopped not by her, but by a Grimm. A Grimm that was created by a human of this age.
She supposes she shouldn't doubt this possibility, especially when she provides the resources and knowledge to a gifted scientist.
"Doctor, I believe he's had his fun, bring her to us." She said smiling. "Cinder's going to need all the power she can get as well."
Dr. Merlot would have hesitated being that he didn't really care for the woman who called her son 'it' but he was in such a great mood that he didn't care.
He pressed the button of the communicator and spoke.
"Eclipse, bring her to us. She's spent."
Salem smiled his son exceeded her expectations. Perhaps it is time to see how well he does against their biggest problem.
Then it will be time to deal with Ozma.
Eclipse heard his father and nodded.
Sad he wanted more fun out of these toys.
Oh well, maybe the Scourge will be fun.
Father says he's the best toy.
Eclipse spread his wings and flew off still holding onto Raven taking her back to the island.
Raven couldn't move, all her training all her artifact hunting meant nothing. Now she was just going to be another victim on Salem's never-ending list.
She feared for a long time that her next meeting with Kron would be her end.
But now she was going back to her one true fear.
The Grimm queen, was going to take her power.
She thought of the family she had thrown away. Both Taiyang and Yang. And even Kron.
The family she couldn't keep due to her fears.
If only she can go back.
As she was being taken by the monster Cher floated in front of her.
She had dreamed of seeing her like this, helpless and fear on her face.
But she knew who this Grimm belonged to.
And as much as she wanted to, she couldn't let this happen.
Cher sighed as she floated in front of Raven.
"Wake up."
Raven twitched and opened her eyes, with a fear-stricken face.
"Cher? One last gloat?"
She wishes.
Cher hated doing this, but it had to be done.
"This doesn't change anything, bitch," Cher said as she got closer and started to phase into Raven.
Raven's eyes widened as her eyes glowed the same firey light it usually did only it changed to pink briefly before growing bigger to cover a good amount of her face.
Eclipse felt the mean woman in his grasp burning, he glanced at his prey as his hand was burning. It didn't hurt but it felt strange.
Raven felt different, she grabbed Eclipse's hand that was grabbing her other arm and squeezed.
Eclipse made a noise that sounded like he was confused as his arm was pulled off and forced to let go of her arm.
The former bandit leader looked at Eclipse's arm that she forced off of her and looked at the monster's face, she looked surprised like she didn't know what was happening, just that she felt stronger.
Eclipse roared as he used his other arm to attack.
But before he could land a strike Raven kicked into its stomach launching him off of her, and the force was enough to send him down and crash to the ground.
He made a noise, that attack felt harder than anything she had thrown at him before. Was she playing with him too?
Raven landed on the ground a few feet in front of Eclipse, her left arm looked fine, but her right arm wasn't moving unable to be held up, still broken from when this monster squeezed her arm.
She looked at her arm, it still hurt despite her newfound power. She held her hand over her broken arm.
"Renewal."
And her arm glowed, this time the spell did not heal minor wounds it completely restored her arm as if it was untouched.
Raven moved her arm amazed at how the spell seemed to have increased in ability.
She looked at her hands to see her red Aura and it seemed to change to pink.
That's when she realized.
"Cher? Did you-"
"Yes, I did! Now shut up!" Cher yelled without being seen, instead, it seemed to come from Raven's head. "Focus on that thing, I'm not going to be a part of you for much longer."
She increased her power.
Her magic and Aura had taken an increase. Just like she said it would if she ever did this. Not exactly doubled in strength, she remembered how she'd have to get more used to the power for that to happen.
Cher had finally helped her.
So she was right. Hope filled her for the first time in months.
But that wasn't important.
She turned to her opponent, no, her prey.
This power, made her feel new, it was like she was a Maiden for the first time again. It felt better than she hoped.
Eclipse stood up from where he was kicked and looked at Raven. Her eyes, the glow from them was brighter.
And her arm, it was fine.
He smiled and giggled.
Now she will be more fun.
Eclipse reared back his wings and unfurled them releasing multiple nevermore feathers again.
Raven pulled out Omen with a Lightning Dust blade and with one arm cut all the feathers in half.
The Monster smiled, it was having fun. Like a child playing, like a child, she knew.
Eclipse roared as he flew and dashed across the ground towards the mean lady.
Raven dashed herself with speed that seemed to equal the monster.
Eclipse lowered himself using his wings to fly and be at the same level as her legs.
She used one wing to strike them.
But Raven was faster and from her lower left slashed upward.
The wing that was meant to strike her legs was severed while Eclipse made it to the other side missing one wing.
Eclipse tilted his head as he turned around and growled.
The severed wing flew past Raven and reattached to Eclipse.
He decides to try long-range again and opens his mouth to release the Hard Light Dust laser.
Raven merely shifted into her bird form and flew over the beam in front of Eclipse's face which looked surprised.
She then shifted back into her human form and landed on the other side of the mutant Grimm.
Eclipse ceased firing his laser and looked up as his throat was slashed through, he was almost beheaded.
His neck regenerated and he giggled as he turned around expecting more fun!
But then he stopped when he noticed something.
Raven glared at Eclipse like most of his toys would in their last moments before he would break them.
She wasn't just a toy anymore, she was a threat.
Eclipse had to start attacking, no more playing.
He dashed forward in an attempt to destroy.
Once he was within striking range he threw a kick to her leg.
But the enhanced Maiden was able to back away and he missed.
He then flipped trying to kick up her chin like he did to Qrow.
And again with her superior speed, she jumped back.
This time she pulled her blade back with both hands and pierced into its chest.
Eclipse was shocked, her blade had impaled her despite his thick hide.
She then pulled her blade and swiped it across his chest.
Setting the monster on fire and forcing him to back away.
Eclipse was now starting to get frustrated, like any child that would when they fail began to let his temper get the better of him, he roared as he tried to use the moves he found from the yellow man.
He threw a fist aimed at her cheek.
Raven raised an arm and simply blocked it.
He then threw a punch aimed at her abdomen, but it was blocked as well, he then tried an uppercut also blocked.
He then spun trying aback fist.
She ducked under that one and stood up swinging her blade in an arc across his body.
Raven didn't stop there she slashed all across his body in different directions across his torso.
She then saw something odd, she reaches her hand and seemingly took something out of the mass of black ooze that was the Grimm's body.
And kicked into it's now cut-open chest sending the the monster rolling with her new found strength.
As Eclipse looked up at the night sky he couldn't help but think how he was pushed back now panicking this woman was able to cut him, move faster than him, and is stronger than him? After everything he went through touching those burning shiny rocks, she was stronger than him!
He roared that wasn't true! She's cheating, cheating!
Eclipse stood up as his body regenerated and he opened his mouth to fire another beam of hard light Dust.
But nothing came out. His mouth didn't release any laser. He made a noise indicating he was confused.
"This yours?"
Eclipse stopped and looked at the mean lady, she was holding a metal sphere, the core that had his light Dust. She took it from him! Must have been when she had cut his body apart.
Raven looked at the power core and threw it up.
The monster tried to stretch his arms to get it back.
But the enhanced Maiden merely slashed multiple times.
The power core was cut into pieces.
Eclipse made a noise as the power core fell to pieces, he got on his knees to see his father's present destroyed. Then he started to tremble and made a new noise he hadn't done yet.
He was crying, crying that he let his father's present break like that. And angry that this mean lady broke it!
Rage started boiling within him and he glared at the mean lady.
He roared and charged at her not caring to strategize only to rip her apart, it was as if he had been taken over by his Grimm instincts.
And Raven can see that it was over and she would prove it.
Eclipse got in close and was about to claw all over the mean lady.
But with her inherited strength Raven struck Omen upwards.
This sent Eclipse upwards with a new slice wound across his body.
Raven then raised her blade as he came down and slashed through him.
The monster's whole body seemed to have been sliced in half.
And she wasn't done yet, this creature needed to disappear off the face of Remnant.
Raven sheathed Omen and held up her hands. One hand wielding lightning, the other wielded fire.
Eclipse while cut in half can still see the mean lady about to fire a devastating attack.
Fear now gripped his heart. He was scared. She wasn't playing, she was going to end him.
He started to move trying to get away.
And Raven fired a wave mixed with fire and lightning.
Eclipse screamed in fear as his body was coated in lightning and fire.
Then he saw something.
He saw a green haired lady with green eyes.
When was this? Who was this lady?
She talked between sobs. 'Eclipse please... for your father...need... you.' Then the woman closed her eyes and she fell out of view.
Before Eclipse could ponder who this lady was, he vanished with a wave of lightning and fire taking him to the forest behind him.
It exploded coating the forest in flames.
As Raven looked she dashed forward with her increased speed.
She sees the husk of the Grimm fading away near flames, it wasn't making any noise.
The monster was destroyed. She sighed it was over, Salem's newest monster was killed.
As she thought that Raven glowed and Cher walked out of her.
Raven's eyes stopped glowing as her predecessor was in front of her.
She looked at the pink-haired girl and thought about everything. How she caused her death, and how she tortured her throughout their reunion.
The current Maiden had a hunch for the reason she increased her power but she had to ask anyway.
"Cher, you saved me, why?"
The pink-haired girl crossed her arms.
"I didn't do it to save you."
Raven knew that but she smiled anyway, she was doomed, even Fully Realized this monster would have taken her to Salem and then she may have suffered a fate worse than death.
"Still thank you."
Cher glared at her and smirked.
"Don't thank me yet, give it a sec."
Raven was confused but then her body seemed to vibrate and she fell to her knees screaming.
The previous Maiden laughed at her misfortune.
"Yeah, see putting my soul into yours increases your magic and Aura can have quite the side effect, you should thank me for not doing this too many times."
Raven gritted her teeth she was right she felt like her body was tearing itself apart, she wasn't going to be in fighting shape for awhile.
The former bandit chief stood to her feet with great effort.
"Fair enough," Raven said looking at Cher's smug expression. Once she turned around struggling to keep standing. "Cher, I'll talk to you later, I need to take care of something."
Cher didn't say anything in response and just vanished like she wasn't interested in dealing with her.
Once she wasn't there Raven walked away from the forest leaving behind the flames.
Where Eclipse's body was destroyed, a green crystal was left behind.
Inside the crystal was a familiar skull.
The crystal shook and made a familiar whining noise.
Dr. Merlot's Island
Dr. Merlot looked shocked one minute his son was dominating the fight. The next he lost communications. He pressed several buttons trying to fix the signal.
"Eclipse? Son?" He asked his son. "Speak to me! Please!"
Dr. Merlot shook his head, he couldn't lose him, not again!
The mad scientist pressed a button.
"Robots head to-"
But a tentacle stopped him.
"Milady?" He looked at Salem within the Seer's eye.
Salem had a stern look on her face.
"Leave him be, he will return to us."
Like a worried father, the doctor shook his head.
"Your grace please, he's but a child, he's given a second chance at life, please let me save him!" He bowed knowing that arguing against her could lead to severe punishment.
Salem did not react in anger but rather with a sympathized look.
"Precisely doctor" The woman replied. "He's given a second chance at life, if you wish for him to keep it, you will allow him to rise to his feet on his own."
Dr. Merlot looked with tears in his eyes, fear gripped his heart.
"My lady please, be reasonable! I will correct every mistake he made, I will make him stronger please I-"
Salem's Seer put a tentacle on his shoulder catching him off guard, it was almost comforting.
"Doctor, remember your child may have been human, but he is also part Grimm." She scolded. "There are some things that cannot be corrected in a laboratory, for him to grow you must allow nature to take it's course, allow him to evolve on his own, he will come back to us stronger than ever, have faith, Dr. Merlot."
Dr. Merlot shook he wanted to disobey and wanted to save Eclipse after going through so many trials to bring him back to life.
Salem's resources and knowledge were what gave him the opportunity to help his son experience life again.
He learned to not doubt her hunches.
"Come back home, son."
Dr. Merlot shook, he couldn't help but think of what Luna would think of him not helping their son.
Taiyang was coming to a bit, he saw Qrow sitting against a boulder.
He tried to move but couldn't, he's definitely broken a few bones at least.
They weren't going to make it like this.
Especially with that thing still around.
He looked around seeing no sign of Raven.
He wondered, did Raven run off? Or did Eclipse capture her?
The funny thing is he hoped she would run off again, part of did still cared for her even after all this time.
Just then a red portal opened in front of her.
Through the portal, Raven walked out covered in scratches looking worse for wear.
"R-Raven" Taiyang was surprised to see her appear. "Wha-"
"Quiet," She said to him as she kneeled next to him. "Tai listen, I don't have enough magic for Renewal to help you, but I'll get you fixed up, we'll talk more once you and Qrow are conscious again."
Taiyang tried to reply confused at what she was saying. He stopped trying and lost consciousness.
Raven looked at Tai's knocked-out face and sighed, really did feel like old times.
She turned to what she had come for.
A silver pot, thankfully undamaged from the battles that took place just now.
She walked over and took the pot.
The White Fang guards had Sienna on a stretcher and were bringing her to a bullhead.
Gunmen waited outside the cave aiming their guns at the cave wondering how fast the large Grimm that got past them into the cave terrified for their lives.
They were warned not to enter the cave under any circumstances and to wait for Raven if she was unconscious.
Finally Raven walked out carrying two men under her arms and a strange silver pot.
Once she was out she placed the huntsmen on the ground in front of the medics.
"Give them medical help now," Raven instructed.
One of them stood up.
"We only answer to High Leader Sienna, we will not-" Stopped as Raven glared at him. "R-right away ma'am!" The medics shouted as they got stretchers for her brother and former husband.
Part of her wanted to open a portal and send both of them back to Ozpin with a message that she was stronger than ever.
But she couldn't, not yet.
If she does now Ozpin might send more like them after her. Huntsmen on the same level as Maidens. Even if she was Fully Realized she doubts she can take on four or even three of them.
Actually, if their battle continued she wasn't sure how a fight between herself and these two would have ended.
What would actually be worse than having more Maiden-level huntsmen arrive would be to make these two even stronger.
She can't send them back not until she has taken care of things with Cher.
While being taken to the bullhead Raven lifted up the silver pot.
Jade's Jar, is the artifact with the potential to solve her biggest problem.
If it didn't have a drawback, knowing how these artifacts work she knows there's something more to it.
That's something she'll have to figure out, as well as have that chat with Cher.
So much to do, and possibly little time to do it. She wonders how close is Kron to finding her.
Or if that monster is the only thing Salem has created.
Raven seems to have gotten her way, what will she do with Taiyang and Qrow?
And this power she found with Cher, will she be able to use it again? Or will Cher leave her to fend for herself?
What of Jade's Jar? What does it do and will Raven be able to use it?
And lastly Eclipse? What will become of him?
When will either face Kron?

So as u noticed this chapter did not have Kron at all. Sorry guys wanted to focus on Raven and Eclipse since both will face Kron at some point and we didn't have enough of a time frame for Kron to be doing something interesting to read.
Hope that's ok and u at least liked the chapter a little bit.
And I promise this chapter was necessary to make the ending of this saga as epic as possible.

Halo 69: Kron has undergone a good amount of character development since he reunited with Blake, formed a bond with Yang of all people and meeting Ozpin as well s the rest of Team RWBY. I will say if Raven were to show up right now, Kron would definitely kill her. But she is becoming a secondary objective. Kron's more focused on making Yang as strong as possible, killing her is starting to become more about her becoming a Maiden with Ki than about revenge. But we do have three months left we'll see.

Raven's taking her time, when she was raising Kron she realized early on that he had an abnormal power growth rate and did her best to hold him back from getting too strong, while still teaching him some skill. She knows without her Kron physically can grow stronger even faster. And good analysys.
There's a reason Raven didn't take the armor for herself.

Yang's trial is definitely tougher than Kron was. But hey that's good, gives her a chance to catch up. Yep Saiyan DNA is definitelyt acting up around Yang, seems appropriate and ironic considering his complicated relationship with Raven. Also lol I've been wanting to do that seen for a 't resist. Dude whenever he gets Super Saiyan he better prey she doesn't remember the bet, cause she would abuse the shit out of it. And Kron likes to keep his word so he'd feel obligated to honor it.
I can picture him whining that "I didn't know what Super Saiyan looked like it's not fair!" Lol.
And ya, pretty much Adam can't grow until he realizes that he can't blame all humans for what happened to him or other Faunus.

Ya, I'm sure Summer made her promise to keep it secret or something like that, can't imagine why else she'd keep it unless it's her way of protecting Yang, which would be weird considering she threw her in danger for the relic of Knowledge.
I had to do that joke lol. And I get it, everyone has their prefered pairings. I promise whoever he pairs with will make sense and hope u can enjoy whoever he ends up with.
Kron at some point will reveal his origins, he just doesn't have much reason to reveal it yet but we'll see they got three months before this deal is over.
As for which Volume, we are between Vol 1 and 2, I tried to have Ironwood hint it when he said Penny was supposed to go to Vale for the upcoming Vytal Festival.

Lol, Saiyans man, they know what they want. Funny how Raven's daughter's the one who triggered it. I will do my best to make it worth the wait. Let's prey for Kron's sake she doesn't remember. If she does, she is going to abuse it and Kron does like to keep his word so he'll probably not try to get out of it. Lol.
Raven has gone through a bit more than in canon, but no one's called her out on her bullshit yet so she's spiraling. If only Yang was able to give her the speech she did in canon, maybe she could've turned out better. And ya, maybe Ozpin can do a better job handling this, but he's more worried that if he says that Kron's not after them, they'll ask how he knows and it might make him suspicious if he doesn't have a believable responce. At least he managed to reveal to Kron that Qrow is nothing like his sister so at least Kron wouldn't attempt to kill him, he's trying to be very careful about everything and get the best outcome he can.
Sienna is definitely going to get worse hopefully for her sake they can figure something out.
