Breakthrough

"So is that all?"

Sienna looked at Raven's former teammates. She had just finished a conversation with them.

"Yeah" Qrow said to her. "We don't really have any proof of it but it's al true."

The Tiger Faunus heard all that was said and wondered if they were only lying under duress in an attempt to escape. But she thought of Raven and how she isn't exactly trustworthy either. If anything she's less trustworthy. She looked over at Taiyang.

"Your sure that the Abyss Hide will be removed safely."

Taiyang nodded.

"Yes, it will only target the armor and leave your body be." He explained to her.

Sienna thought of her situation. It's not like they are in a position to prove anything and she doubts Raven will keep her word, or at the very least is hiding and likely will unti it's too late for her.

Either she's dead and her best hope is that she can rest easy knowing her people are safe with Kron dead.

"Thank you for the information." Sienna turned and started walking away.

"Hang hon stripes" Qrow said to her making her stop. "Aren't you forgetting something?" He asked pointing at the Aura Restraints.

Sienna turned at Raven's brother and explained. "If I let you escape now, Raven who is stronger than all three of us will figure out who let you out, to safely do it I need to make it look like an accident." She explained. "You will have your moment to escape." She explained as she walked away.

Qrow growled deeply annoyed.

Taiyang rose a hand. "Wait one more question."

Sienna sighed but she supposed that Raven will be awhile since she can't just portal to her target, she turned and nodded.

"Where did Raven go?"

Sienna turned to the blonde and answered. "To find an old friend of hers."

She then walked away leaving the duo confused.

"You sure we can trust her?" Qrow asked thinking this might be a trick.

"No" Taiyang admitted. "But don't you trust her more than Raven?"

Qrow chuckled and nodded in agreement.

Kron had been waiting at the training grounds. Waiting for Yang, longer than he's used to. He was already annoyed with how he was training her less and now he had to wait for her to show up.

"Sorry I'm late!"

The Saiyan groaned as he turned to her.

"Finally, what took you so-" He stopped when he saw who he was with. "What?"

Not only was Yang here but also, Blake, Discount Winter and the little red reaper. Team RWBY were here.

"What're you three doing here? You have training with her later don't you?" He asked. "Get lost, we don't need you here."

"Come on Kron." Yang said. "Ruby just wanted to see how you were training me, Weiss and Blake even wanted to come along."

Kron grunted not caring for distractions in their training and glanced at Blake. "You couldn't just watch me from the bushes like you usually do, like the stalker you are?"

Blake shrugged off Kron's bluntness. "We got ready early so I was going to come anyway, and Ruby wanted to tag along."

"Yeah!" Ruby yelled enthusiastically. "I haven't seen her training up close that made her so strong, I wanted to come along and watch."

Kron was puzzled by her enthusiasm, acting even younger than she even looked.

He then glanced at Weiss who had her arms crossed over her chest.

"Ok, but what about you discount Winter?"

Weiss growled hearing that repulsive nickname.

"I'm just here because I thought it was best to observe you." She then pointed at the red head. "And make sure this dolt doesn't do anything stupid."

"Hey!"

Kron's tail twitched and an angry tick mark came to his head.

He can tell that these three would be a distraction to his important lesson.

"No way, you three will be in the way, just go wait with Ozpin like your suppo-" He stopped when his nose picked up a familiar scent.

A sweet scent.

Ruby walked up to him and held up a bag before Kron as she looked up to him with a pure smile.

The Saiyan rose an eyebrow confused but looked at the contents of the bag.

"Yang said you loved the cookies I made you, so I thought maybe you'd let us watch and I give you cookies for it?"

Kron glanced over at Yang and glared slightly while she grinned and waved.

The Saiyan looked down at Ruby who had a pure smile on her face and he glanced down at the sweets he actually liked.

"Never said I loved them." Kron said to her.

Ruby looked sad when he said that.

But then Kron put his hand in her bag and ate a cookie.

"But you can stay, just don't distract her." He said to her.

Ruby had a wide smile and gave him the bag. "Thank you!"

Kron ate another cookie and just shrugged at her being happy.

Weiss was annoyed watching. "Great now our leader might start warming up to the brute." She sighed while Blake only chuckled at her side.

The three of them watched, Blake with her back againts the tree, Weiss with her arms crossed and Ruby waiting with stars in her eyes looking forward to what amazing thing Kron will teach Yang.

"Now that you finally got flying down." He said to her. "It's time for your final Ki lesson." He said to her.

The three girls watching watched with curiosity while Ruby smiled looking forward to what he meant.

Yang seemed excited and cracking her knuckles. "We gonna do explosions now?"

He chuckled laughing at her enthusiasm.

"That's right!" He said clearly looking forward to how she responds to this training. "Now we'll be working on having you create your first Ki technique."

Yang pretty much had stars in her eyes looking forward to be able to make explosions like he did. Which isn't a suprise given her already destructive personality. Her Semblance was proof of that.

"Show me!"

Kron chuckled as he decided to explain.

"The great thing about Ki if you are able to focus all of it in your body into a single point you can raise it's potency to create a attack that's over twice as strong as you are." He said remembering Raven's suggestion when he was with her. "This way, you always have a weapon against real opponents that are more durable than you."

Blake wasn't suprised hearing that, she was confident that Kron was the strongest in the world given how Ozpin had to agree to a deal with him instead of fighting back.

Weiss was slightly irritated hearing that, is there nothing this guy can't do?

Ruby seemed more excited looking forward to see something amazing.

"You have something like that?" Yang asked thinking of her previous fights with him. "Wow, glad you never tried that when you got angry."

"Like I said it's for real opponents." Kron said to her and turned to a boulder. "Let me show you one of my real techniques."

Yang waited to the side looking forward to see what he was going to do.

Ruby shared her enthusiasm wanting to see it in action.

Kron held up his hands. "First focus your Ki into one or two points." Then two orbs of red Ki formed over his hands. "Then condense it, force it to compact." The orbs shrank over his hands and he closed his fists around them. He then brought his arms to his sides and aimed his fists towards the boulder.

All of team RWBY even Weiss seemed enthralled at what he was doing.

"Then once it's been compact, release." He instructed. "Berringel Burst!"

Then a red crimson wave of Ki was released from his palms.

The large wave of energy destroyed the boulder.

It's destruction made Yang and the girls watching cover their faces but look and admire at the destruction.

The Berringel Burst continued to soar through the sky until it faded away.

Once that was done Kron turned to Yang who had a gobsmack look on her face.

Before he spoke Ruby shouted. "Wow, that was so cool! It was like a laser! Are you sure you don't have a weapon on you anywhere?!"

Kron looked at the enthusiastic girl impressed by his attack and chuckled. "I am the weapon kid, don't be so surprised, you've seen what I can do."

"So cool!" Ruby said starting to see Kron in a new like ever since he had saved half her team.

Weiss put a hand on her face. "Ruby, stop being so impressed."

Blake on the other hand couldn't help but smile glad to see that he seemed to enjoy Ruby's company. Which makes sense now that she thought about it, he always loved attention.

Kron turned and focused on to Yang.

"So? You got it?"

Yang smiled and nodded happily. "Yeah I think I get it, so what are you going to teach me how to do that?"

Kron chuckled. "Hell no come up with your own attack, mine was just an example give it some thought and show me some originality."

The blonde shrugged her shoulders not having a problem with that. "Fine, but I do have one thing I'm worried about?"

"Worried about what?"

Yang put a hand threw her hair and looked uncomfortable.

"What?"

Yang chuckled lightly and admitted.

"Do I have to yell my attack names?"

Kron tilted his head at that at that. "Is that a problem?"

"I mean, it's kinda dorky."

Blake chuckled hearing that.

The Saiyan growled. "What'd you say?"

Weiss smiled at his irritation happy to see him annoyed.

Ruby actually yelled in defense of Kron. "Hey, yelling attack names is cool! It's not dorky!"

Yang giggled at his and Ruby's reactions and put her arms behind her head. "I mean, firing large lasers is cool and all, but come on, do I have to yell it?"

Kron had a sense of deja vu, he remembered her mother saying that and got a bit angry. "It isn't 'dorky' yelling your attack's name helps you focus your Ki better and making it stronger and it shows your resolve for victory!" He yelled angrily not liking Yang's criticism of his lesson.

"Yeah Yang!" Ruby yelled like a kid. "What about when we do team attacks?"

Yang turned to Ruby and smiled. "Rubes that's different, it's communicating with other people, until your perfectly in sync with your teammate like you and I are." Which made sense since they trained together.

Kron glanced at Ruby thinking maybe she was smarter than she looked actually. Smarter than her sister anyway and glared at Yang.

She looked at his angry face and chuckled. "Pipe down, I mean, yelling team attacks I get that, if it's just myself doesn't that give my opponent an easier time to dodge?" She asked.

Again it sounded just like Raven making him angrier again and clenching his fists. "Not if you yell it as you fire, if done right your attack will be faster than your enemy can react." He reasoned. "I only ever miss if my opponent is faster than me I'll have you know."

Yang highly doubted that. She was impressed with what she saw and really wanted to do it herself. But just seeing Kron use the attack and yell it made her think it looked silly and unecessary. Like what she sees in Ruby's comics. It seemed like Kron wasn't as mature as he liked to think he was.

"I mean my Semblance is called Burn and it doesn't always work out when I use it." Yang quoted. "Are you saying that I should yell 'Burn' and it should always work?"

"That is Aura" Kron said to her. "Not Ki." He groaned getting really tired of this conversation. "Look, just, trust me alright? Try it out, if you don't want to yell it then fine, just know that almost every Ki user benefits from yelling their attack name." There was footage he saw of the mighty King Vegeta himself along with the Prince yelling their Galick Gun technique to destroy planets and warriors that were strong enought to challenge them. If even the monarchy of the Saiyans yell it, then there's defintely credit to what he's saying.

He glanced over at Ruby who smiled and waved showing that she supported his claim.

Strange girl, sometimes she seems the smartest among the rest.

"I'm in agreement with Yang, just so you know." Weiss pointed out with a smile.

Kron turned to Weiss and decided to annoy her. "If that came from the real Winter's mouth maybe I'd give a damn, but from a Discount Winter? Pfft, couldn't care less."

"Says you thinking like a child!" Weiss yelled annoyed by the constant nicknaming.

Blake put a hand on her shoulder. "Calm down Weiss, he likes setting you off."

She crossed her arms and glaring at Kron.

Which seemed to make him laugh and turned to Yang. "Just start the lesson, your wasting daylight."

"Alright fine" Yang stretched and smiling. "So all I gotta do is focus it in one or two spots and then I release." She quoted him and looked at another boulder about as big as Kron's was. "Ok" She aimed her hands towards the boulder and prepped two large yellow orbs of energy in her hands. "And release!" She yelled and unleased a wave of golden energy at the boulder. Once the blast reached the boulder it exploded, unlike Kron's Berringel Burst, the wave of energy didn't shoot past the boulder.

Ruby smiled loving the laser and eating her own bag of cookies she took for herself.

Kron crossed his arms looking at the result indifferently as if not impressed at all.

Once it was done Yang put her arms down and scracthed her hair. "Huh, that didn't feel right at all."

"That's because it wasn't." Kron noted. "Your blast should have shot past the boulder until it dissipated on it's own." He said to her. "Not as far as mine, but still you didn't do it right."

"Ok, so what am I doing wrong?"

Kron held up his arm showing a massive red Ki ball. "You need to condense it, make it more compact." The massive ball began to shrink more and more until Kron held a fist over the small orb. "And then." He aimed his hand forward. "Release" He fired half a Berringel Burst threw the forest, it was only strong enough to blast through a couple trees before dissipating.

"Ok, I get ya, so what I need to do is this." Yang held up her hands and focused a large Ki ball in her hands. "And then squeeze it." The orb then began to shrink slower than Kron's." She growled as she was struggling with this new method.

*Boom!*

"Yang!" Ruby yelled running forward with her Semblance, both Weiss and Blake got closer as well.

The explosion made Yang fall back and hit a tree. "Ugh" She rubbed her head in pain, as Ruby got next to her and helped her up.

"I'm alright Ruby" She said and chuckled at her teammates. "I'm ok guys, let him tell me what I did wrong."

Kron chuckled as he walked beside her. "Forgot to mention, if you don't focus it right, it can detonate in your face."

Yang growled as she stood up and glared at him. "You didn't tell me on purpose!"

"Maybe" He laughed enjoying the angry face she was making.

The rest of Team RWB_ knew that he had bonded with Yang in away, but it was still strange to watch in person.

The blonde crossed her arms annoyed.

"Calm down, your still new to Ki, it only makes sense that you'd get it wrong." Kron said to her. "The first human in history in fact."

Yang felt at ease hearign that suprised that he was being somewhat comforting.

"First human huh?" Yang asked looking at his swaying tail. "Hey there's something that I wanted to ask."

"Go on" Kron said to her.

"You said that plenty of other Ki users yell their attack names." She said to him. "You said that Ki is more potent and provides a bigger growth rate than Aura." She remembered early on with his lessons on the difference between Aura and Ki. "So there's more like you then how come no one's ever heard of Ki and people like you?"

This question got the attention of the rest of Team RWBY.

Weiss was especially curious wondering and worrying if there others as strong as he is somewhere in the world. While she doesn't exactly hate Kron anymore, she was still somewhat wary of him and didn't like the idea of someone truly twisted with his kind of power.

Kron was suprised by her curiosity and shrugged. "That's a long story, hasn't Blake told you?" He asked as he looked at Blake.

The cat eared girl responded with. "Only with what you told me."

"Well yeah, she said you were from an island full of Monkey Faunus that like to fight." Yang said to him. "And that you left because you didn't really have a good life there right?"

The Saiyan was starting to regret that day Kali basically made him talk about his past. A moment of weakness he shouldn't have allowed to happen.

"Right" He admitted embarrased to have his past known. He should really convince Blake to keep her mouth shut. Not that she'd listen. "Why where I'm from isn't so known is also a long story, you wouldn't believe me if I told you." He said to her.

Blake wasn't suprised hearing that, it was the same thing he said to her.

"Come on tell me." Yang said to him. "I really wanna know if there are other Ki users for me to learn from."

Kron chuckled at that. "No, trust me, my people wouldn't think your worth teaching at all." Dashing her hopes.

"I mean you thought I was worth teaching." Yang pointed out.

"Yes, because I can see you becoming someone worth fighting." Kron responded. "The majority of my people wouldn't."

That was a given, Yang's personality might be appealing to plenty of Saiyans, but they wouldn't think she was worth their time given the gigantic gap in power between her and the average Saiyan.

"Well that's a bummer, can you at least tell me where your from." Yang asked. "I've been thinking about that a lot actually."

So has Blake but she knows he won't say, he wouldn't tell her and maybe not even her mother.

Kron thought of his 'home' and remembered his time there. He never had any choice in what he wanted to do, no freedom to do as he wished. He would have more than likely become just like his father. He thought of him annoyed at how he looked like him given that their father and son. He was so complacent with his life, always saying 'We are all born with a part to play' as his excuse for never trying to do a thing to improve on hsi quality of life. Just running around entertaining and begging for whatever scraps even the low class warriors had.

"Enough of that." Kron said being reminded of his home world. "Focus on your Ki before you have to go training with Ozpin."

Yang can tell that she touched a nerve but nodded knowing not to push him anymore. She was kind of dissapointed that he wouldn't share where he was from but decided to just focus on his lesson. Oh well, maybe she can talk some sense into him later,t hey had two months anyway.

Weiss cursed not liking how Kron was still hiding information.

Blake had mixed feelings hearing that. She wasn't suprised that Kron wouldn't tell her again. But she remembered her last talk with Adam, he hid things from her just like Kron is. No, that was different, Adam hid who he is, not where he's from. She knows he and Kron were different. At least she hoped he was.

Ruby simply enjoyed watching her sister use Ki and wondered if there was any chance she can learn for herself.

Kron then rose an eyebrow as he took a bite out of a cookie and remembered something.

"Oh, right, Yang!"

Yang had stopped trying to focus and looked at Kron.

"Yeah?"

"Your request to be champion, Garnet has agreed that you are now elidgible for her trial."

The three girls were confused.

But Yang was ecstatic to hear that. "Yeah really! She's gonna give me a shot!"

"She says that since you do nothing but win in her arena for a month, your now worthy to do her trial to see if you can become her champion." Kron said to her smiling. "You got a few days to prepare.

This excited the brawler now having something to look forward to in addition to her training. "Sweet! Can't wait!"

"Huh? Sis? What's he talking about?" Ruby asked.

Yang smiled as she explained. "You know that arena I've been fighting in? Now I get a chance to be their champion!"

"Really after just a month! Wow, your really awesome sis!"

Her sister chuckled. "I know right!"

As the two sisters laughed, enjoying Yang's accomploshments Blake and Weiss were watching with sweatdrops.

"Blake? Weiss looked dissapointed. "Should we be worried that Ruby is condoning Yang fighting in an illegal fighting ring?"

"After all this?" Blake chuckled. "I think maybe we just need to get used to it." She said looking at Kron.

She wasn't too worried about Kron. But she couldn't help but think of what Adam had said.

'The only difference, between me and him is that he's locked away and I'm not! He's got blood on his hands just like me!'

She shook her head, no Adam always victimized himself, Kron didn't. And he's doing good, and he'll get better. She's sure of it.

Yes, he and Adam are not the same.

Wanting to distract herself she brought out her book and started reading.

During everything Ozpin who had been monitoring them had a hand on his chin. He was clearly fascinated by his reaction to where his homeland is. It would be a good idea to find out where he learned of Ki and to see if these 'Monkey Faunus' are going to be a threat in the future. If assuming they are from their realm.

Anima

Sepia awoke and got up gasping. She was wrapped in bandages and yelled in pain.

She looked around to see that she was in a hospital room.

A nurse was in front of her and was shocked to see her awake. "Oh your awake." She said to her. "Miss Ugla was it, you were in luck that your friend brought you to us, any longer and you might have been in serious trouble."

Sepia nodded knowing the dangers of the Crusader Armor but sighed regretting not able to capture at least Vernal. "Will I be here long?"

"Not long no." The nurse said. "You suffered some internal injuries, you'll be abel to leave but not for travel after a few days."

It was better than what she was told what happened to General Ironwood. It annoyed her that it will likely give Vernal time to go into hiding along with the rest of her blasted tribe. Oh well wacthing them run was satisfying enough.

"Your friend has been waiting for you to wake up, she cares for you deeply." She said to him and walked away.

Hearing that she sees Penny walk in where the nurse walked out.

"Sepia!" She yelled running to her comerade and put a hand on her hospital bed. "How do you feel, my sensors can detect damage to your body I was so worried."

The Owl Faunus while flattered with hearing her worried for her she had focused on the task at hand. "Where's Vernal? You captured her right?"

Penny was suprised with that question and looked saddened. "I couldn't, you needed help, I decided to take you to recieve medical attention, so she got away."

Sepia squeezed the sheets she was under.

"What? You let her escape!?" She shouted at her which made Penny flinch.

The orange haired girl was saddened by that reaction. "I didn't have a choice, you were in danger and I couldn't go through with leaving you."

Sepia seemed to get angrier and pushed her blankets off of her and tried to leave even though she grimaced in pain.

"Sepia?" Penny asked. "Stop please."

The Owl Faunus walked trying to get out of the hospital but fell to her knees.

Penny got to her side and lifted her arm.

Sepia stared at Penny who was helping her up.

"Sepia please, your still in critical condition, you need to rest."

"Quete" The Owl Faunus responded and pushed her off of her.

Penny looked scared of her angry face. "Sepia?"

The Owl Faunus glared angrily at Penny. "Back away! You've done enough, I'm going after Vernal myself, tell Ironwood your services aren't requried!"

Penny was suprised at the angry outburst and took a step back, looking down saddened.

Sepia began to walk away while struggling, but she glanced at Penny who seemed more effected by her words. She looked like a child that had been hit.

Penny kept her head down looking ashamed but looked up when she heard Sepia walking towards her.

"Penny, I'm sorry" Sepia sighed. "I wasn't thinking." She said to her.

The girl looked at the Owl Faunus still frowning.

"You, did good." She said to her. "Thank you for saving me, I was just angry and I shouldn't have said that."

Penny smiled and nodded. "Apologies not necessary, I know how important capturing Vernal was to you."

Sepia turned and tried to get herself back into bed.

Her comrade helped her in and put her covers back on her.

The Owl Faunus sighed.

"Capturing Vernal would have been successful if I hadn't told you to wait and let me handle it." She said to her and sighed. "I put the mission in danger because of my ego. I'm sorry."

Penny put her hands in front of her stomach looking sadly at her.

"May I ask why was it important for you to confront the Branwen Tribe on your own?" Penny asked. "I know how they attacked your home and killed your husband but I don't know the full details.

Sepia sighed thinking back to the Branwen Tribe. How her life was before they ruined it and brought that monster.

"When they arrived, my husband and I were the only huntsmen at the time." She said to her. "The others had to go fight off hordes of Grimm, all that was to guard my village was myself and my husband, Camilitic."

She remembered how some packs of beowolves and ursa were getting closer and closer to Azalea Village.

"After the first hour they were gone, the Branwen Tribe arrived and attacked out of nowhere." She remembered over a dozen bandits arrived and attacked.

She clashed her blade againts Vernal's ring blades.

"While I was dealing with Vernal, my husband was clashing with the Scourge."

She remembered the Scourge of Anima's features perfectly. Spikey black hair, a brown tail and a sadistic smile on his face. She remembered how the boy was attacking her husband, despite his greater experience the child fought like a monster, with every strike the monster seemed to smile wider and wider. Clearly enjoying the carnage, he was no child, but a monster that needed to be put down.

"Throughout that battle, I was helpless." She remembered struggling by the younger Vernal. "Even though I managed to fight off Vernal just as I was about to save my husband, it was too late."

She remembered the Scourge standing and aiming his hand at the face of her beloved.

Just when she was about to move towards her the Scourge blasted into his face.

The child Kron turned to the screaming Sepia and smiled at her ready to fight.

"I was about to fight him but then-"

A portal opened besides the Scourge and the masked Raven ran out and kicked Sepia in the stomach.

"Raven appeared and made the situation more hopeless." Sepia explained. "I thought it was over for me."

The Scourge ran forward in an attempt to kill her, but then Raven grabbed him by the tail.

"But Raven didn't seem to think i was worth their time and left us after taking everything they can from our village."

Raven took the young screaming Kron through the portal as well as the surviving members of the tribe.

"If that wasn't enough once they left, the fear of my villagers attracted Grimm."

Many beowolves, borbatusks and even a nevermore arrived.

"I did what I could to save my home but it was to no avail." She explained.

"The Grimm were too many in number, the people were scattered terrified and attracting more Grimm." She remembered the carnage. "No one survived."

She remembered looking all around to see the corpses of innocents, she walked over to her husban's corpse and sees her weapon Ichtaka in his hand.

"All I could do was bury my husband." Sepia remembered taking his body and took her blade for her own. "I was helpless when we met, I wanted to prove to myself that they have no power over me any longer."

She looked to Penny who seemed saddened hearing all of this. "That was why I asked you to stay back and I shouldn't have, I'm sorry."

Penny smiled and put a hand on her shoulder.

"I understand Sepia, please let us continue to work together and bring the Scourge of Anima to justice." She said to her.

Sepia looked at the andoid girl, she originally wasn't sure of teaming with anyone to bring the Scourge down, but she nodded with a smile.

"Thank you Penny, I will not endanger our mission any longer." She said to her. "If it isn't too much to ask, will you search for Vernal while I recover."

Penny nodded with a smile. "Only if you promise to remain here and recuperate."

Sepia didn't want to rest on her laurels while the one who took everything from her was still on the loose. But for whatever reason this girl cares for her safety after knowing her for such a short time. Reminds her of her husband always worrying of others more than the mission.

"I accept your terms, I will stay."

Penny smiled and nodded. "I will alert you of any information I come across!"

The Owl Faunus agreed and watched her go.

She turned to her weapon laying on top of her bedside.

"Sorry Calamtic, I delayed your vengence." She said to the sword. "But I will be back on the hunt soon."

She remembered that smile that child, no that thing made. For whatever reason when she finally reunited with him, he spared her. Probably as a way to ammuse himself. She can tell that he enjoyed their fight.

The Branwen Tribe, Raven Branwen, and the Scourge of Anima will pay for the lives they have taken.

Even at the cost of her life.

Far away, where Raven, Taiyang, and Qrow clashed against Salem's monster.

Eclipse was in the coocoon for over a month. It grew inside the green crystal a crowned skull with a crown was inside.

The growing Grimm groaned wishing it wouldn't take so long to reform. He wondered why none of his father's robots came to help him. Is he mad at him for not fufilling the mission? Does he not want him anymore.

He made a sound that sounded like crying.

Just as he was starting to think that his father no longer wanted him due to his failures.

But then just as he was getting depressed visions came to his mind again.

"Eclipse, your father is going to need you."

He stopped and can see the same vision again, only this time it was in greater detail.

He sees a small human hand reaching for the woman.

"I'm sorry" She coughed. "But I won't be able to see you grow up, but please, grow big and strong for your father." She said to him. "And for me as well, your mom's going to watch you from heaven ok?"

Eclipse was enthralled, this was the first time he's seen his mother alive. This must be before when Eclipse had a flawed human body. So this is what she sounded like.

Luna reached down to grab Eclipse's hand. "My little Eclipse, please no matter what grow up big and strong. I know that your father will be able to save you from what I gave you." She let her finger be grabbed by Eclipse's small fingers. "I'm sorry I couldn't get to see it."

Just then Luna leaned back her finger leaving Eclipse's fingers.

The door opened and he heard his father, Dr. Merlot's voice.

"Luna!"

Eclipse was concious again, his mother. Thats who that lady was. He remembered his father showed him a picture of her. That voice it soothed him.

Just as he was thinking of his mother Grimm started to surround his crystal as if attracted to it.

From within the crystal a black tenticle came out and grabbed a beowolf from the neck. The Grimm started disolving and fighting to escape the grip.

He needed to eat to grow big anf strong.

More tenticles left his cocoon and grabbed more grimm in the area, dissolving more and more of them while Eclipse's body seems to be reforming from within the crystal.

Eclipse will grow stronger to take his place as the king of Grimm, for his father, and now, his mother.

From within the crystal he roared determined for a comeback.

Days had passed, both Kron and Yang were in front of an entry way between two mountains.

Garnet stood next to them and waved her hand. "Yang, Kron, allow me to introduce, Dead End Chasm."

It looked dark, with plants hanging from the sides of the mountain, and a river leading to the otherside, at the end there was a wall.

And pecurliarly, there were no Grimm at least not in sight.

"You sure this is the place?" Yang asked looking around. "I don't see any Grimm around."

"Hahaha" Garnet chuckled at Yang's naivity. "Trust me between here and ten miles it is teaming with intellegent Grimm just waiting for any human idiot enought to walk this chasm."

Kron sniffed the air, a lot of putrid smells, no doubt there are grimm here.

There are more Grimm here than in most areas.

"You'll definitely have your work cut out for you." Kron said to her. "These Grimm their hiding from sight, the fact they don't just charge at us means their smart enough to wait for their prey not willing to risk the chance without the cover of the trees in the chasm."

If he came as a child, he likely would've gotten himself killed. Maybe even as strong as he was when he fought Raven.

A perfect place to push Yang to new limits.

"This chasm goes ten miles, both sides of land are teaming up with Grimm, the forest between is filled with plants with poison that can drain your Aura." Garnet explained. "Once you cross this, you will prove worthy of representing Dead End Arena." She said to her. "You must make the journey alone, with no help. Yang, Golden Zhulong, do you accept this challenge?

Yang grinned as she punched her hand into her palm ecstatic to comeplete the challenge.

"Hold on."

The blonde turned to Kron with a raised eyebrow.

"You sure your ready for this?" He asked. "You haven't even made your own Ki attack, you have two months." He said to her. "You have time to prepare."

Yang was suprised hearing that but then she grinned. "Aww, are you worried about me? That's cute."

"Tch" Kron annoyed pointed out. "I just don't want you dead, it'd be a waste to lose you after I spent two months training you."

She waved a hand and winked. "Eh, I'll be fine, I've been dominating the Arena, there's no doubt I'm ready to be champion. You fought the last one right? How strong was he?"

The Saiyan thought back to Slate and his annoying Semblance.

"He was more or less equal to Adam in terms of power." Before he used Soul Dust. "Though he had an annoying habit of reusing his Semblance over and over, he was still clever and reigned as champion for six years I believe." He remembered his first fight against him.

Yang grinned. "In that case I'm a shoe in right? I know I screwed up with Adam, but I blew you away with our spar right?"

She was right if she fought like that againts Adam, she would have won.

"Alright but remember what will happen if your in danger." Kron said to her. "Raven might come save you, and it might ruin our deal."

Yang thought of that and looked at the chasm. While she was confident aht she can get threw it. She hadn't consider that pushing herself too much can draw her mother out. She had mixed feelings on this, which began to resurfaced. While she has been learning that her mother was a selfish backstabber and murderer, a part of her couldn't help but want to save her. But she is trying to accept that if Raven dies after all this, then she had it coming.

Yes Kron has done wrong to like Raven, but he's done good here in Vale. Saving people from the White Fang, not to mention Blake and Weiss. He's been doing good, while her mother is somewhere else, and she doubts she's up to any good.

Despite all that she didn't want Raven to die, but to repent for her crimes, and make sure that she can't hurt anyone again. And to do that she'll need to beat Kron in two months, and so she needs all the trainign she can get.

"That's all the more reason to do this, I still got a while to go and I'll take on anything to get stronger." Yang said to her. "And don't worry, Raven won't have to save me, even if she wanted to." She said indicating that she doubted her mother would save her after what she heard.

Kron heard all she had to say and wondered why he even had to question her, she had the will of Saiyan. Why should he be suprised.

"Fine then, go, and destroy all in your way."

Yang chuckled. "It's what I do best!"

She jumped down from where she was and fell into the chasm.

Kron watched on with a smirk looking forward to the show.

Once Yang landed on the ground she immediately dashed towards the chasm.

And as if on clockwork a pack of Ursa, all noticably bigger than what she remembered fighting at arrived.

Of course they were no match for her.

"Come on give me something new!" She yelled as she uppercut one Ursa's head off, kicked another that was coming at her left and punched through another one with relative ease.

With Kron's training she's gotten way stronger than she would have if she had a normal education at Beacon.

And Ozpin's tutelage refined her fighting style with sharper strikes and quicker reaction.

After she fodderize the Grimm around her she dashed forward to complete the trial as quickly as possible.

"Don't rush it." Kron warned even though she can't hear him.

As if he predicted it, a large claw swiped from behind a tree.

And Yang with her sharpened reflexes rose on arm to block it and it made her slide back. Once she brought her arm down another ursa came.

Only it was larger and covered in armor, it looked very familiar, not to Yang but to Kron.

From above Kron can remember fighting an Ursa that looked just like it. No doubt it was an alpha ursa, he shattered his arm to kill it. Hopefully if she trained right she'll destroy this thing with less issue than he did.

Yang threw a punch into the ursa's gut.

The creature proved harder than it's breatheren and swiped another claw.

But Yang rose her arms to block it.

And the Ursa threw another of it's paw's at her gut.

The brawler ducked underneath it and threw an uppercut to it's chin.

It made the best land on it's back, Yang then jumped and pulled back a fist.

The Alpha Ursa tried to strike.

But Yang's fist was swung into his face with her hair glowing just a small bit before returning to it's natural state.

This caused the ground beneath the ursa to crack and she tossed another fist crushing it's head.

The Alpha Ursa screamed as it's mask broke.

Kron chuckled, she took it way quicker than he did as a brat, good, he was training her right.

Yang ran forward destroying Grimm left and right.

One nevermore arrived from the sky and roared as it swung his wings several feathers were launched.

The Golden Zhulong side stepped out of the way as she stared at the winged beast.

She remembered dealing with the same Grimm back at initiation.

With a grin she looked up at the never more.

It swung it's wings unleashing several feathers.

And her training with Ozpin dealing with Weiss's long distance attacks and either punched or evaded the feathers. She even grabbed one feather and threw it like a javelin.

The nevermore screamed as one of it's wings was struck.

Kron chuckled watching her use it's own feather againts it. He wondered why he never thought of it.

After the nevermore started faltering, Yang jumped just above it and threw punches unleasing her Ember Celica's bullets.

This destroyed the nevermore making it fade out of existance and Yang continued on.

Kron watched as she destroyed everything in her way. All with a smile on her face.

She grabbed a deathstalker by it's stinger and struck it into it's own head.

Kicked a beowolf's head off.

And wasn't slowing down.

Watching her do quick work againts these older Grimm was enjoyable, especially that she was using Ozpin's training instead of hiding it like she did not too long ago.

She's grown so strong, and her skills were sharpened to a razor fine point.

He couldn't look away at the carnage she was wreaking on the Grimm, the power she weilded was something to behold.

But he shook his head and widened his eyes. The hell was that? There's nothing to admire, he needed to focus on any mistakes she makes and make sure to correct her.

He turned to Garnet who was watching as well. "Y'know watchign all this makes me think Daim was cheap." He said to her. "His trial wasn't as fun as this."

Garnet chuckled. "That's why he never had a champion that could compete with mine or Saph's champion in Vacuo." She chuckled. "That bald fool wasn't creative enough or brave enough to risk his fighters to raise strong champion, if you want a real warrior to represent your arena."

Yang blocked a punch from a beringel, punched it's gut kicked an ursa behind her, and uppercut a beowlf.

"You give them the most brutal of trials."

And the most fun. Kron thought, he felt like he had drawn the short straw with going with the Golden Knives Arena. Maybe he should've come to Vale instead and fight for Dead End. Not like he knew Dead End Arena existed anyway.

Just as Kron was complaining mentally he heard a noise and noticed a disgusting smell.

Yang had powered through many Grimm thinking that this 'challenge' was too easy. Sure it was fun but man she expected it to be tougher and give her more of a rush.

Already she was approaching the end and sees that all she had to do was climb the wall at the end of the chasm. Oh well maybe she can ask Kron for another round.

She looked up thinking she could just gly but Garnet was watching and Ozpin did want her to keep her new power low. Plus it'd be more fun to climb and deal with any Grimm that try to stop her.

Yang started climbing thinking how easy this was.

Just as she was reaching half way she started yawning wishing for something f-

Just then a claw popped out of the wall and she was strike by it forcing her to flaw.

She used a small amount of Ki to float slowly at the last second and look up to see what stopped her.

Kron looked at the pincer that came out. It looked like a deathstalker pincer, only bigger than most. An Alpha Deathstalker?

Yang stood up and watched as another claw forced itself out, and the giant Grimm walked out.

And it fell on the ground in front of Yang and it was not what she or Kron were expecting.

This Grimm seemed to be a mix of a king taiju and a deathstalker. A head of an emperor taiju and the body of a deathstalker on top of that it was bigger than most of either Grimm.

Kron had slain many Grimm but never seen this one.

"The hell is that thing, and where can I find more of it?" He asked wanting to slay it.

"That is a Deadlock, one of the rarest Grimm many have the misfortune to find." She explained. "Most prefer hiding underground or in rocks waiting for their prey before they reveal themselves, this is the only one I found, all my champions resort to escaping this, so she's free to escape it if she chooses it."

Kron turned to Yang facing the monster and was thinking of yelling that it was an option, given that it was gigantic and covered in armor.

But Yang already made her choice and held up her arms ready for combat.

The Deadlock swung down a giant pincer making Yang roll out of the way.

Just then it swung a tail across.

Yang couldn't dodge and blocked it but couldn't save herself from being sent flying through a tree.

The Deadlock then swung it's head down towards where she was.

And Yang struggled to get up but grabbed the fangs of the Deadlock's cobra head as it tried to bite down.

She was using her combined Aura and Ki to push it back from devouring her.

She gritted her teeth and grunted as the Cobra head bit down.

Kron can see her struggling and shouted.

"Yang, remember your goal is to get across the chasm, you can escape!" He yelled.

Garnet was suprised hearing that, he sounded.. concern, which is something she was not used to in the time she's seen him.

In the mouth of the deadlock, Yang smiled. He wants her to run? Didn't he hate it when people ran from a fight. Funny.

Yang instead pulled back one arm while still holding one fang.

She's out of Dust Bullets, so she'll rely on Ki blasts.

With a palm aimed outward. "I!" She fired a golden Ki blast. "Hope!" Another. "Your!" Another. "Hungry!" And one last one made the creature let go of Yang.

She then used her Ki to stay in the air and threw a punch across the Deadlock's cobra head.

But the massive creature recovered easily and struck forward with it's stinger.

Yang's impressive reflexes showed as she evaded the tail's stinger but was grabbed with one of it's pincers and slammed her down.

Yang screamed as the ground beneath her cracked. Her Aura started cracking, threatening to shatter.

Part of her mask was cracked, showing one of her purple eyes, she hadn't been this beaten since she first met Kron.

The deadlock then swung it's head down determined to devour Yang's head now that she seemed helpless.

"Haha" Yang chuckled as her purple eye becomes red and her hair glows shiny gold.

Once the deadlock brought it's head down onto Yang.

With her Ki enhanced Semblance she swung her fist upward.

It provided enough force that the deadlock's head reared back and sumble.

But knowing not to waste her Aura on her Semblance she deactivated it, nothing was working this thing was made of tougher stuff than she's used to.

The deadlock as usually quickly recovered swung it's tail across the land from the side.

And Yang rolled out of the way knowing not to try to block that strike.

And the deadlock swung's its pincers down where she is.

She flew upm avoided the pincers and threw a hand releasing a golden Ki blast.

The shot would be enough to make it close it's eyes.

And Yang dashed forward with a fistt.

But the deadlock would sway the small but powerful strike.

And the creature swung it's tail at Yang from behind.

Yang with her newly aquired reflexes would turn and punch into the flat of the stinger.

However her reflexes would be proven not perfected as the deadlock wrapped it's huge serpant neck around the young huntress in training with only one arm out.

She tried punching it and even used her Semblance to force herself free but to no avail. She was trapped, and unable to break free.

Yang looked up as the deadlock would bring down it's jaws at the seemingly helpless Yang.

Kron floated and was about to step in, he did want Yang to be pushed but not to die.

But the Beacon Academy student would not panic instead she held one arm againts the coming jaws of the deadlock.

"Focus in one point" She said as a scorching golden ball formed the size of a beach ball. "Condense!" She focused as the ball began to shrink slower than she did the last time she tried it, and this time it did not explode.

The creature was about to close it's mouth on her upperbody.

"And release!"

Just then it exploded, clearly it was still imperfected as it blew up instead of launching like Kron's Berringel Burst.

Kron stopped and watched with awe. He chuckled at the sight, looked like he didn't have to save her. So far.

But with her arm being inside the giant monster's mouth it was pushed back, golden flame can be seen in it's mouth from the effects of her attack.

And the impact loosened Yang and she fell on the back of the creature.

She panted heavily and grunted as she turned to her arm. It shook from the pain clearly from releasing a Ki attack she hadn't perfected yet.

Don't focus too much on it, she needs to finish this thing, she just needs one more shot.

The deadlock tried to swipe Yang off it's body with it's right pincer.

And Yang smiled as she jumped and punched down on top of the flat side of the pincer, forcing it into the back of the creature.

It caused damage as it even punctured into it's own back.

And now Yang's hair glowed golden and her eyes became blood red as she jumped and slammed her fist down on top of it's pincer pushing it further and further into it's own body.

And the Deadlock tried to raise it's tail and pincer but couldn't, it's body could no longer function and fell down from the damage of the body.

Kron laughed watching and glanced over at Garnet.

The elderly red head had a huge smile on her face.

"Oh joy! She did it!" She said. "She actually killed the deadlock!" As she said she never had killed a champion that killed the deadlock, most had to evade and climb the wall, or stealthily climb it to avoid a fight againts it.

"But killing it! This was a first! "All she has to do is climb the wall and she will be my new champion!" She said smiling.

Kron chuckled as he floated. "I'll be sure to tell her." He said flying over the chasm towards the top of the wall.

Once Yang saw that the monster was vanishing she went ahead and started climbing the wall, though she was exhausted, she almost fell a couple times. She barely had the energy to punch any Grimm that came from the walls.

That thing was clearly the strongest in the chasm and so she had an easy time climbing it in comparison.

Yang made it to the top and lied down panting. Her heartbeat drilling in her eardrums.

Kron floated beside her and landed in front of her.

Yang looked up at Kron and grinned.

"That little attack you did, " Kron chuckled at her. "It's a good first step for your signature Ki attack, you just need to work on the release step. If it was a proper attack, it would've finished that monster no doubt."

"Yeah, yeah" She panted. "Just give me, a bit more time, I'll get it down in no time."

"Hmm" Kron looked at her with a hand under her chin. "Y'know your technique would probably be better if it had a name."

"Pfft, that again?" Yang asked with a smile and looked to the side and back at Kron. "Alright fine, I'll think about it ok? But don't expect me to yell it."

The Saiyan felt annoyed that she wouldn't embrace yelling attack names. But fine, he atleast got her a new position in the arena. But fine she'll grow into it, he's sure of it.

Kron chuckled. "Well congrats, you Yang, Golden Zhulong, as a former champion myself, I welcome you as the new champion of Dead End Arena." He said to her. "Now your training is going to get more intense, maybe you'll fight Mull from Bloddy Sands Arena, he'd be fun to fight."

Yang panted and giggled. "Sounds fun, can't wait." She rose a fist up to him.

Kron sees this gesture and smirks as he bumped fists with her once again.

After that Yang seemed to have lost conciousness but still had a smile on her face.

As she did Kron thought of all he put her through. Flying training, Ki blasts, Ozpin's training, and finally her own Ki technique. Yes no doubt now, Yang is becoming closer and closer to Maiden levels even without becoming one herself.

He wondered if at the end of the two remaining months if she could fight Raven.

There's a thought. He could kill Raven no doubt knowing how strong Maidens are.

He wondered how a fight between a four month Ki training Yang and Maiden Raven would go. That might be interesting to watch.

Either way, she was well on her way to becoming the strongest human in history.

And he'll be the one to have made her that way.

This experiment was way funner than he thought it would be!

Vernal was treating her burns that she got from Sepia.

She looked around at her remaning men.

Not even a dozen are left.

"We're we followed?" She asked.

"No, ma'am" He said to her. "If we were she would've caught up by now."

Obviously, none were fast enough to keep up with her. Clearly because of that armor. Before Sepia relied on stealth to wipe them out in small groups, she never used frontal assault when she hunted them. Not only was she still a problem for them but now she was the problem for them.

"We have to get out of here." Vernal told them all and looked around. "We head to Vacuo and start over."

"But how?" One member asked. "We were relying on Raven's portal's to get us there."

A great loss when they decided to cut ties with her.

"I know that, but I can arrange for us to hitch a ride on a boat." She said to the group. "Once we're there, we lay low and slowly rebuild." Vernal said to them.

None of them seemed to be in high spirits, which made sense given everything that happened. Everything went well back before that brat came to their tribe. If it wasn't for him than things would've been much different.

Maybe Raven would've been different to.

"I'll contact our transport, everyone get some rest, and you" She pointed at one of them. "Keep watch, make sure we don't get anymore surprises."

Vernal sighed frustrated from everything. Things were just starting to look up, and now everything's gone back to shit.

She thought they solved everything, but no, now a new problem has come to their doorstep. That armor? Who made it? It couldn't be from Salem. Ozpin? No. The only people with that level of technology would be Atlas. Is it because Kron went there? Must be, why else would they send anyone after them?

The problems just keep piling up over and over.

Going to Vacuo is their best move, they need a new start. She'll rebuild the Branwen Tribe better than it was before. Better than Corvus or Raven ever ran it.

She pressed a button n her scroll and just when she was about to call it rang.

An unknown number came to the screen.

She thought of declinging the call, but she didn't see the harm. Her scroll had been designed not to be traced even by the best.

Vernal hesitantly answered the call and brought it ot her ear.

"Who's this?'

No one spoke for a few moments.

"This scroll can't be traced if that's what your trying to do!" Vernal yelled not liking how long it was taking to answer.

A sigh came from the other end.

"I'm dissapointed." A woman 's voice said.

Vernal's jaw dropped hearing that. She shook her head from her stupor. No, it wouldn't make sense. "W-who is this!"

Again it was silent on the other end.

"I thought I taught you to supress your emotions in times of crisis." She said to her. "I can hear your panic, the last time I heard you breath like this was when we first met."

The leader of the Branwen Tribe shook, there was no doubt who it was.

"What do you think your doing?" Vernal asked. "Didn't I tell you what would happen if you came to us at all? Whatever you want, scram, the Branwen Tribe do not concern you anymore! Tell me why I shouldn't release that video!" She yelled in the scroll. "Raven!"

On the other end Raven was standing with her own scroll to her ear.

The older woman didn't react to the threat and just looked around the campsite.

"Hey!" Vernal shouted from her scroll. "Talk!"

When Raven had been told by Sienna that they found something that would be of interest to her she didn't think it would be the whereabouts of her 'people'. The ones who after she had recovered from a coma banished her. She never thougth that she would ever reunite with them again given how careful Vernal's been and her

"Raven I will release the video if you don't tell me why your calling!"

Again the woman didn't respond as if she was saying something of no consequence.

She only examined the bodies.

"I'm at your last camping spot Vernal." Raven said to her. "And from my count, you've lost eight members, recently to." She said to her. "Five of them are new, is anyone I'd recognize still with us?"

"I am releasing the video right now if you don't-"

"Do it."

On the otherside Vernal was silent. "What?"

"Release the video, do it now."

On the other end Vernal was confused. Was she really saying that?

"You want Salem to find you?" She reminded her of the one she fears above all else.

"She already knows that I'm the Spring Maiden." Raven said calmly.

Vernal shook her head hearing that. "No, your lying, this is a bluff."

"Just release the video, and have a civil conversation with me." Raven said to her protoge. "We need to catch up."

The Branwen Tribe leader thought of what to do. She wanted to hand up throw her scroll over a cliff and tell her men to make a raft and head to Solitas. But she tried to keep her cool and not let Raven control the situation like always.

Raven will only bluff if she has a way out. She has nothing to stop her from releasing her footage. She still had the video and can release it anytime. The only logical thing here is either Raven no longer cares if she's discovered or that she's telling the truth.

Finally accepting that Raven isn't lying she responds. "What do you want?"

She can practically hear Raven smirking to her question.

"How's being Chief going for you?" The Branwen asked. "Not as easy as it looks?"

"Shut up." Vernal responded. "What do you know?"

"Remember that I'm staring at your last camp site?" Raven asked. "You even left most of your supplies, your going to hungry soon, hope you have enough Dust to last awhile."

"Shut up!" Vernal shouted. "How did you get my scroll details? I changed it and I even made it near impossible to contact."

No way anyone could've gotten her scroll number, it's not even in the CCT database.

"Another thing, you've been hacving the tribe rely on technology lately." Raven replied ignoring the question. "Remember, when I said that our tribe is better off with as little as possible and may make us weak and reliant on it?"

Vernal growled and punched a tree next to her.

Raven chuckled hearing her frustration.

"To answer your question I've made new friends ever since you sent me away." Raven said vaguely. "Friends who also would benefit from Kron's death. They found the right people and gave me a scroll that can contact you."

Why, couldn't Kron have found her brat already! It's been three months! He should've found her by now! That musclebound idiot!

"They also told me your location, or at least your latest location." She commented. "Looks like someone beat me to it."

Vernal couldn't help but curse all gods for the nonsense they suffered.

"Now onto what I want." Raven said. "You have some information I want."

"What?"

"Kron" Raven said to him. "Vernal like you, I can sense my link with Kron vanish, which either means he's either dead which is highly unlikely, or you have someone in your tribe that can disable Semblances, don't you?"

Vernal shook when she heard that.

"If your alive, then I know for a fact that Kron has to be as well." Raven explained. "So you had my semblance disabled didn't you?"

The bandit didn't have much to hide and so admitted it. "Yes, I found him not long after we parted ways."

Raven chuckled at the parted 'ways' part like it was a joke.

"Perfect, I will be paying the Branwen Tribe a visit soon, wherever you are."

"Y-you don't know where I am! Where any of us are!" She yelled.

It was true. Raven's Semblance wasn't active on her anymor

"Feel free to let them know my return, I'll be expecting a warm welcome."

"Raven! Wait, whatever it is you want I can h-"

The scroll made a beeping noise.

Vernal looked at her scroll, terrified. She thought of what to do. What to say to her.

Should she call and tell her where Kron is? No! What will she do to her if she found out about her daughter and told him? She'd be dead anyway! Should she lie and say that he's eleswhere? For what reason?

Her scroll was specifically designed not to be tracked. Does she have a way to track her?

She threw the scroll againts the tree in fear.

Vernal turned to her tribe.

"Pack up! We need to go! Now!" She shouted to her men.

Once Raven had hung up she smirked.

She always thought revenge was distasteful and a waste of time. That it limited productivity and it was never worth the effort.

Yes she is chasing after Vernal, but only because she may have info on Kron she would need. She can't afford to let it fall into Salem's or Ozpin's hands. While she is not intending to go after Kron now, it was important that she knew where he is, preferably at all times in case she and Sienna need to avoid him.

She orignally wasn't going to go after her or that tribe since she had evedence on her power. But since both sides of the shadow war know of her abilites, she had no reason to leave her alone.

That call confirmed that Vernal was alive, despite her link vanishing, which usually meant they were dead.

So that means Kron was alive to.

She knew it and yet fear gripped her knowing he was out there but missing in action.

And yet she felt relief knowing the boy she raised was alive.

"It felt so good hearing that bitch quiver in fear."

Raven glanced at Cher who reappeared.

"You finally came out."

Cher smiled and giggled. "Y'know I hate your guts, but Vernal didn't do anything to help me either." She said to her. "I'll happily float around if it means I can see that short haired bitch bite the dust."

The current Maiden looked at Cher and while she didn't care much for revenge she had to admit, it did feel good making Vernal squirm and realize she wasn't safe from her.

"Tell me, does this mean you agree with my proposal?"

The pink haired girl growled. "I'm still thinking about it, just get that bitch and it migh convince me."

Raven nodded knowing that it was wise to stay on her good side.

She wondered if her 'reunion' with her old tribe will be as satisfying as her last meeting with her father.

With that she turned into a bird a bird and soared threw the skies.

Determined to find Vernal before anyone else does.

Raven is now on Vernal's trail!

Will she find her and find out where Kron went?

And when that happens will Kron and Yang's deal end early afterall?

Find out next time on One's Own Path!

Well as u can see where getting close to Raven finding Kron. Though Vernal is still trying to avoid her, will see how long that will take, not to mention there trying to figure out how Jade's Jar works.

I'm sure a good number of you, are annoyed that Kron has not gotten to fight in quiet a bit. I promise well get to it soon, next chapter things are going to pick up again.

Just setting everything up, it's going to be a crazy end.

Hope I don't muck it up.

Hope u liked the chapter.

Review Responces

Bashleyz: I can promise that neither brother will be anywhere near Beerus level. I'm considering making them way weaket than Buu actually, since RWBYverse isn't much compared to DBverse.

Guest: Lol, yeah. Makes u wonder, u think Kron would've been stronger if he stayed on Planet Vegeta with 10 x gravity?

Love the Flames: Hi

Keybladelight: Thank u lol ya, she kinda has it coming

Kron will pay Atlas a visit again at some point I can promise that. He does have to correct some news they fabricated. And of course he'll meet Kali again one day.

We'll see maybe in the next arc, can't promise to do it anytime soon though.

I'll see if I can work that cookies scene in.

Kron will reveal his secret at some point, he might give a hint at least.

Halo 69: Oh, u got an account? Hi. Also your ideas were pretty good guesses, but nope, Raven's footage was that she caught images of Vernal and her old tribe. She's gonna pay them a visit for any info they may have. Good guesses though.

Also ya, ur right. Any opponents that can challenge Kron aren't near him, though it may not be the case in the next arc. Let's just say he might not be top of the food chain in the nect.

arryol: When I said OG Dragon ball I meant the cast will deal with Remnant's problems before going to space. If I wasn't taking strategy into account Yang would've won againts Adam. If u think it's boring then ok, can't plz everybody. You've had problems with my fic for awhile now, I think maybe it's not for u.

ThatSaiyaGuy:Thank u. Now Raven is close to finding Kron if she can get to Vernal.

Yeah, the only good thing about Kron when he was young was that he only went after those who attacked him or who can fight back. But yeah, he would've left that girl to find for herself.

It is kinda funny think about how Sun was inspired by the same guy Goku was. Also I thought it was a good time to show how far along we are in the RWBY timeline in case anyone might be lost since Kron has pretty much made all the volumes impossible to happen the way they did because of his actions.

And now Eclipse is absorbing other Grimm while he's inside his cocoon. At least he got a Zenkai boost hopefully it will be enough to ensure Kron is still top dog. We'll see though.

Lol, maybe, if that were the case we'd have to hope there are plenty of wastelands around. If it can happen.

Lelouch of Zero: Lol, guess Kron wasn't as famous as he thought he was.

Yeah, Kali had told him that long ago and now he's doing good without being told to. Kali and Blake pretty much saved Remnant as we see in What if Kron never met Kali.

Scourge Grimm, he named it after his nickname. Thought it was appropriate.

Lol glad u liked it. Yeah I've been looking forward to write Kron's interaction with Yang sicne the beginning of my story and it's been more fun than I thought it was. I'm glad to see most people enjoye it.

James is bored: Eh, it's not stupid.

So if Goku was hypnotized into becoming a great ape and Gohan used a projector of the full moon, than I'd say yes. Maybe the blutz waves the full moon provides are like a placebo and that's why they always need it to transform and they can do it themselves like how in GT or hereoes Goku can go Super saiyan 4 without a full moon. Although maybe Goku hypnosis was filler while I do know the projector in Dbz was filler, but maybe the pod provided blutz waves.

Eddyg125: Yeah of course, 4 months of Ki training will do wonders for her, but it won't be enough to close the gap realistically. She would either need to become a Maiden or get Void Vault training to be able to challenge him physically, or maybe both, but we'll see.

Ruenion: Hope it was half that chapter was your idea.

Lol nice idea, if we were gonna do that, we'll need Kron and nine more people to level up first but still love the enthusiasm.

Guest: He will at some point I promise.

Ghhfc: Thank you! No Yang can't sense Ki, she just learned how to be better at observation with her Aura, kinda like Ren, in initiation he sensed that a Snake grimm was attacking him from behind. And now Yang is more aware of the movements of anyone around her and is able to respond way better and switch up her attacks for opponents that are good at weaving her strikes.

As for Crusader Armor, what it does it increases the users Aura when the user is struggling and will even adapt and help make the user's Semblance more effective. In Sepia's case, whenever her light absorbtion overloads, her Crusader Armor adapted and creates mini orbs filled with light that she can't handle. So it depends on person to person.

Shadow-Proclamation8: Yep, And Ruby is learning to exploit it lol. I will make that eating contest happen! Lol! That's a way it can happen.

Yeah those r good guesses. Yeah, Eclipse's loyalty stems from his childlike demeanor, he may even reject his father's orders, every kid has a rebellious phase.

Triscythe: Maybe so. Yeah hopefully for their sake Kron will have mellowed out enough to not cause permanent damage.

I can see why but Kron is a bit different from Vegeta, he's a lot less set in his ways since Kron was born at the bottom of Saiyan Soceity while Vegeta was born at the top but I get it. Kron will get Super saiyan I can promise that, as for the DB cast, we'll see, hope u can enjoy the story before then!

Thx for reading as usual guys! See u in the next chapter!

Have an awesome day! :)
