Welcome to another chapter of A certain misfortunate spider! We're already getting into the fight scenes! This is probably the longest chapter I've written to date. This is also the first time I've written a fight scene too! I spent hours writing, editing, revisioning it so that it could turn out the way I exactly wanted it to happen. This is the first time I did something this long, to be honest I'm kind of nervous how this'll turn out. But I hope you guys will like it.
Anyways I hope you enjoy this chapter, I'll catch you at the end of it!

Touma walked along the street. On his side was a grocery plastic bag, carrying his essential daily sustenance.
It has been a couple hours since after he managed to calm Zapper down. Afterwards, she begrudgingly gave him a few thousand yen but not before telling him not to pull off a stunt like that ever again. Touma quickly agreed, since he didn't wanna piss off the girl again.
After buying all of his daily necessities, he walked to his dormitory, thinking of dishes to cook. Until...
...Two girls...In the alley...
Touma quickly turned to a nearby alleyway, dropped his grocery bag and rushed over there.
XxX
A gang of shady-looking guys were surrounding two girls who looked to be at middle school. One of the girls was wearing what seems to be a flowerbed on top of her head, the other a flower clip on the right side of her hair. Flowerhead was in front of Flower Clip trying to protect her friend.
"S-S-Stop this now! As a member of Judgement I will not allow you to hurt her!" Flowerhead shows her Judgement armband to force the thugs to back down. But to no avail.
"Oh no we're in big trouble, hey boss, this chick says she from Judgement," one thug said sarcastically to the leader of the gang, a boy who towered over the other thugs and whose face is covered in scars.
"Oh no, whatever I shall do," Soto, the leader deadpanned, before he suddenly grabbed Flowerband's head and lifted her up in the air. "Of course, assuming you got something to fight with. Do ya?" Flowerhead's frown was all what he needed to hear. Until he was tackled by Flowerhead's friend.
"Let go of her you bastard!!! Let go!!!" She punches Soto, hoping to be able to release her friend from the large man's iron grip.
"Get off me!!!" Without wasting time he backhands Flower Clip in the face, causing her to fall backwards and hit her head in the wall behind her before falling over. "She's all yours, boys." The thugs surronded the unconscious girl, their disgusting intent worn on their faces. "Now then, where were we?" He turns to the girl in his grip.
"No!!! NOOOO!! Let go!!! LET ME GO!!!" Flowerhead struggles to get the man drop her.
"Believe me when I say this," he raised his hand, clenching it into a fist. "I don't like hitting girls. Nothing personal." Flowerhead closes her eyes, raising her arms as high as she can. Tears stream down her face. 'Please, someone... Someone out there...' As the leader pulls back his fist, Uiharu closed her eyes bracing for the strike.
"Help us."
"Put the girl down you bastard." A voice rang out in the alleyway. All eyes went to the source of the voice. Standing there in front of them, was a lone boy with spiky black hair, and a mask of pure wrath worn on top of his face.
"What the fuck? The fuck is someone doing here!? I thought you said no one comes here!!!" Soto yells at his minion, a thug with a yellow Mohawk, which he replies that he wasn't lying. "Whatever. Hey kid. Dunno want you're doing here, but if you know what's good for you, better hightail outta here. Then we and my associates here can forget this thing ever happened ok?" He propositions to the lone boy. The boy said nothing. The leader hears his boys laugh and jeer behind him, looks back, and sees one of his men sneak up behind the boy holding a knife.
"W-" Flowerhead was about to warn the boy, when the leader clamped her mouth shut with his hand.
"Bitch. Shut. Up." He whispers to Flowerhead. Soto only sighed as he sees his minion run up to the lone boy, about to stab him. 'You should've taken the offer when you had the chance.'
The men behind him laughed and cheered harder. Flowerhead could do nothing but watch as the boy would be stabbed in the back...
...but the blade never came.
The boy turned around and caught the blade in his hand.
Everyone's eyes widened at that. The boy then grabbed their member by the wrist, and flipped him over, crashing him into the ground. Then he grabs the man's wrist and snaps it like a twig. The man's bloodcurdling scream was interrupted with a swift kick to the side of his head.
The gang observed the fight with shock and terror etched into their faces, Flowerhead the same. Soto drops Flowerhead on the ground.
"You're pretty good at fighting. But that's where you stop right now. Fuck off, and I won't have to kill ya," Soto said to the boy.
"I don't care," Soto looked up to see the boy glare at him. "You hurt people. That is something I cannot abide by."
Soto sighed. "Oh well, don't say I didn't warn ya," 'We'll do it the hard way then.' He removed his jacket, revealing only a tank top, his arms covered in tattoos.
"Oh shit the boss is getting serious!!!"
"He's gonna slaughter that pussy wimp!!!"
"Kick his ass Soto!!!"
"Give it up kid! You've no chance in hell beating him!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!"
Soto took a deep breath, steeled his mind, and tries to tackle the kid onto the ground.
Keyword: try.
The kid jumped back to avoid it , and at the same time, shoved Soto down, causing him to hit the ground painfully.
"Hey get up man!!! Don't let this fucking kid shine you up man!!!"
"You'll pay for that kid!!!"
"Let us join in boss!!! We outnumber him 4 to 1!!! He's fucked!!"
"No!!! Don't interfere!!! He's mine!!!" Soto ordered his men to stand down.
"Wha!? But-"
"What did I just say?" He glared at his men. This silenced them. He turned to look at his opponent.
'He's good. Not only did he react fast enough to dodge, he also managed to push me down onto the ground. He's strong. Very strong. Heh, it looks like I'm trembling a bit. It's been a while since I felt like this.' Soto grinned at the boy. "You know, with how you look right now, I thought you'd be easy prey. But now, I think you're kinda interesting." Soto laughed.
He charged at the boy, and delivers punch after kick after punch after kick, to his opponent, seeing him dodge every single one. 'Very fast and flexible. This is very tricky.' He found himself out of breath, which is weird for him, considering that he has prided himself on having good stamina and endurance. This fight is putting a great strain into his body. On the other hand, his opponent doesn't even look tired. He never even pant or take a deep breath even once. It's as if he's playing with him, and it pisses him off. Then an idea came to mind. 'Oh yeah, it's coming to me now. Let's see how you dodge this.'
He charged at his opponent, bringing his fist back, hoping to punch him, before stopping and firing his right leg up to the boy, aiming to hit him in the side of his body, where his liver is.
He got in a lot of fights perfecting this move. It seemed simple to do, yet it is hard to pull it off perfectly. But after so many a fight, he was able to do it as naturally as breathing. And the fact that almost no one could dodge it meant that it garnered him some form of infamy. 'Damn that Kurozuma asshat.' He thought to himself, thinking about that one guy who managed to not only dodge it, but also counter with his own version of his move. 'After this imma find him and make him eat my shit.'
His leg travels toward the boy's side, locking on as it hits him-
The boy bends over the leg like a limbo player, dodging the leg entirely.
Soto, the gang, and Flowerhead couldn't believe it. The gang knew of Boss' secret technique, and have seen it in action. And they learned that, no matter how many times they would do it, they couldn't do it as perfectly as Soto does. To see this punk ass kid not only shove Boss onto the ground, but also dodge his Ultimate Move, pissed them off.
Flowerhead observed that the leader of the gang was a good fighter. In fact she even believed that he could give a certain twintailed teleporter a run for her money, even with her needles. But here is somebody, dodging everything the leader throws at him. And doing that... Just who is this guy?
Their thoughts were interrupted after they hear a loud sickening THUD! in front of them. It was fast, they didn't even see what happened.
The boy planted his arms behind him, and pushed off the ground delivering a powerful kick towards Soto's jaw, sending him flying half a meter away from him.
Soto couldn't believe what had happened to him. He couldn't get up and sit due to the pain spreading from his jaw, and to his body. He then saw the boy stand over him.
"Do it then, finish it," Soto said to the boy. "It's only fair." He expected him to go and close in for the kill.
However the boy merely kneeled next to him, and delivered a powerful jab to his face, knocking him out cold.
The gang couldn't believe it. This boy just beat Soto, the man who, in their mind, was the toughest, strongest man they've ever known. Just then, a feeling of inpalpable rage engulfs the entire gang.
"Die you bastard!!!" The Mohawk guy brandished his blade.
"You'll pay for that you brat!!!" Another one, with dyed green hair, took out a blackjack from their pocket.
"Say your prayers fucker!!!" The last one, bigger than the last two, though not as big as Soto, charged at the boy, fists raised.
"WATCH OUT!!!" Flowerhead yelled out to the boy. The boy only stood his ground, arms raised. He took a deep breath, and engaged the trio in combat.
Touma stood there, victorious. The three thugs were sprawled out under him, unconscious, bruised and bloodied. He remained relatively unscathed, if you didn't count his bloody bruised knuckles. He looked around, to check if there are others hiding, and when the coast was clear, he turned to the wide-eyed Flowerhead, who watched the whole thing happened.
"Hey, are you okay? Are you hurt somewhere?" He tends to Flowerhead.
"O-Oh I'm fine, I'm n-not seriously hurt." She managed to stutter out. "T-T-Thank you."
"Don't mention it," Touma said with a smile. Flowerhead smiled back in relief, until she heard someone stirring up.
"SATEN!" Flowerhead rushed to the girl's side, checking her head for any wounds. She saw there wasn't any wound in her. "Oh thank goodness," she cried out.
Saten stirred out of unconsciousness, the first thing she saw was Flowerhead smiling and crying in relief. "What? W-What happened...? Where a-a-am I? Uiharu...?"
"OH THANK GOODNESS!!! I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE OKAY!!!" Flowerhead, now named Uiharu, cried out, hugging Saten into a tight embrace. "I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT I WAS GONNA DO WHEN YOU WERE HURT!!! I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE OKAY RIGHT NOW!!!"
"Uiharu... y-y-you're... you're killing me..."
"Oh sorry!!! I'm so sorry!!! Sorry!!!" Saten caught her breath while clutching her head. Uiharu then went for another, less tighter embrace. "Oh thank goodness..." Saten heard her friend. Saten let out tears of relief. Touma looked at the sight in relief.
"W-Wait... what happened to those other guys...?" Saten said to Uiharu.
"Oh you wouldn't believe this! There was this guy, who came in to save us. He was so... so cool. If we weren't for him... you knows what could've happened to us."
"Woah... so... where is... he...?"
"Oh he's right there- Uh, what?"
Uiharu did a double take behind her, seeing the unconscious thugs behind, but no spiky haired boy.
After several minutes Judgement and Anti-Skill came in and arrested the thugs. A certain girl with twintails and another girl with glasses rushed to the two girls.
"Uiharu what were you thinking, getting into a situation like that!?" Twintail scolded Uiharu. Just as Uiharu opened her mouth to protest, Saten spoke.
"It was my fault. I thought this alleyway was a shortcut to Joseph's. We were ambushed by these jerks. Uiharu tried to protect me. It was my own fault, Uiharu did nothing wrong here. ...I'm so sorry."
"Saten..."
"Well at least you two are safe, right Kuroko?" Glasses said.
Kuroko, the twintailed girl, sighed. "You're right. However, Saten, because of your actions, you nearly got yourself and Uiharu killed. Make sure this doesn't happen again." Saten nodded. Kuroko then embraced both girls with a hug. "I'm glad you guys are okay. Don't do that ever again understand?" Both girls nodded.
Later, an older woman with glasses, wearing body armor, approached the girls. "That's all the thugs we captured today. Good things you guys are okay." The girls smiled at that. "Although I'm curious as to who was the man that saved you. This particular area has very little camcorders, so it's near-impossible to know their identity."
Kuroko then goes to Serious Business mode, asking them both questions about their Savior. "Do you know what he looks like. His name, anything to ascertain his identity. It's the least we can do to repay them."
"I don't know their name. I never had chance to ask them because they left immediately."
"How about physical characteristics? Face, hair, anything." Uiharu thought long and hard about what he looked like.
"His face... wasn't very recognizable. Very plain looking. But..."
Uiharu looked up in the sky trying to remember...
"Spiky hair. Yeah... he had spiky black hair."
--
Touma's day couldn't get any worse.
He left the two girls in the alleyway, but not before calling Judgement and Anti-Skill, and watching them until they came.
He ran to where he dropped his groceries. And when he got there, he saw his grocery bag being ripped apart by a bunch of stray cats. He shoo-ed away the cats (which took 45 minutes), gathered all his groceries and walked to his home, his back hunched over in frustration.
"Haaaaaaaaah... Kamijou you damn idiot. Of course the groceries wouldn't be in one fucking piece," he mused to himself as he checked the half-ripped bag, accessing the damage. To his relief, the canned goods he bought were okay, though dented a bit. The eggs, vegetable, cup noodles, though, were wrecked beyond recognition. He threw away the useless stuff, and continued on his unmerry way home.
He thought back to when he fought the gang from before. 'I never imagined I could fight like that. I usually could fight 1 on 1 fine, but I beat those 3 punks. And apart from my knuckles, I ain't hurt. Is this... because of that voice in my head?' He thought to when the voice told him about the girls in the alley. Like it was some sort of early warning system. 'Well, at least those two are okay.'
DOG.
"Dog?" He said out loud. Then in the corner of his eye, he saw a Doberman and a Rottweiler barreling towards him.
Touma had one thought in mind.
"SHIT!"
And he ran. And ran and ran and ran and ran... until he stopped when he covered a safe distance. And noticed that as he ran, the bag ripped in between, dropping the contents of the bag. He dropped to the ground, lamenting his luck.
"Damned rotten luck." He lamented, as he sobbed for an hour straight.
Such was the life of a certain misfortunate spider.
