Hello everybody, I hope everyone enjoyed Mother's Day and I hope everyone is being safe during this Coronavirus pandemic. So this chapter mainly focuses on a flashback, but I hope you enjoy this chapter. I want to point out a couple things. Yes I do know now that Vader knew Luke was his son and that the Emperor had lied to him, when Boba Fett had inform Vader of Luke's last name, Skywalker, and that he was trying to capture his son so the Emperor couldn't take him away. Another thing, just because Lita was born last, doesn't mean she's not going to be as powerful as Luke and Leia, and don't forget Leia only started learning to use the Force sometime after Return of the Jedi. I saw it in The Rise of Skywalker, it was sad when Leia died but not surprising because of Carrie Fisher's passing. RIP Carrie Fisher. You were a force to be reckon with.

Opening up to the Force

As time went on Lita was starting to improve in her training. Vader would have her train mostly on either his castle on Mustafar or his castle on Vjun, and sometimes when they were on the Death Star. Vader trained his daughter long and hard, and encouraged her to have passion in everything she did.

One day at Bast Castle on Vjun, Lita just returned to her quarters after training with Vader and was greeted by Rori and Deethreepio.

"Mistress Lita, it's so good to see you're all right," the protocol said with relief.

"Deethreepio you should know by now that I go training with my father as usual," Lita said as she was stroking Rori on the head.

"Maybe so, but it's not always the same training you have with brutal cyborg," Deethreepio said with disgust in his tone, "I never even know what he makes you do."

"So far it's been a lot of lightsaber training, using Force abilities like telekinesis and learning of being connected to the Force," Lita explained to the droid, then walking over to her bed, "My father also says that I naturally excel at Animal Bond considering I love bonding with different animals, especially dangerous ones. But he says there is still much for me to learn."

Lita then thought back to her training when she and her father first arrived at Bast Castle, her father's home, on Vjun.

Flashback begins,

Lita braced herself. Despite her curiosity to learn and agreeing to join her father, she still feared the irrevocable change to her life that would come when he started learning about the Force.

"I don't know. I'm not sure if I'm ready for…" Lita began cautiously.

Vader turned sharply on her, Lita froze and swallowed the rest of her sentence. The Dark Lord stared at her for a long moment. "There is no need for you to be afraid," he said. "You have great potential in the Force. I will not allow you to waste your talent."

Lita stared at him unhappily, but Vader continued unconcerned, "Once your mind has open up to the Force, once you have begun to feel it flow through you, you will have no more doubts. It is your birthright."

Vader stepped closer to Lita and placed a firm hand on her shoulder, preventing her from taking a step back. He was close enough that all Lita could see was the bulk of his armor in front of her. Lita stared at the lights on Vader's chest plate and she took a deep breath to help keep herself calm. This reminded Lita too much of the times Vader had frighten her and made her think back to Vader's insistence of her turning to the dark side.

"Close your eyes, Lita," Vader instructed. Lita hesitated, her anxiety spiking, but then complied as she thought of Qui-Gon's words with her. Vader placed his free hand on top of Lita's head and she flinched slightly. "Calm down my daughter and let me guide you," Vader said in his deep voice. "The Force is all encompassing, it surrounds and penetrates everything. Listen to it, pull it close to you."

Lita furrowed her eyebrows, for a long moment nothing happened and Lita was about to ask what Vader wanted her to do. But then Lita became aware of something tingling in the back of her mind. She scrunched her eyes closed and tried to reach for that odd, but not uncomfortable feeling. It was like chasing a memory long forgotten, something she knew she should remember but which eluded her every time she tried to bring it in front of her mind.

"Concentrate, Lita," Vader said.

Lita tried, but again and again that small tendril escaped her. Vader shifted his hold on her, both hands now resting against Lita's temples. A new sensation crept into Lita's mind and she was acutely aware of Vader's proximity, even though her eyes were still closed. It was as if Lita could see Vader in her mind, as something big and dark and cold, yet also strangely familiar. Her father's presence reached for her like he had done with his hands, in an attempt to guide her.

Lita tried again, now with Vader's guidance, to reach for the small tingling tendril still lingering beckoningly at the back of her mind and this time it didn't evade her. It came closer and became brighter until it surrounded her, and was enveloping her in its warm light. Lita felt as if she had just ripped open her eyes for the very first time in her life.

It was like the first time Lita had stared into the blue swirl of hyperspace. It was like staring into the darkness of space and finally noticing it sprinkle with light; seeing the stars gleaming in the sky above Naboo, powerful and beautiful. It was comforting to be in touch with the universal energy of the Force. Most of all it felt right, through it Lita could see and feel Vader so much more clearly; a frozen sun filled the room, as flinchingly cold as it was bright. Vader responded to his probe, reaching for her too.

Confused, Lita blinked when her connection to the Force was carefully severed, the harsh lights in the room biting her vision. Lita realized that Vader was holding her by her shoulders, and her legs were weak.

She blinked up at Vader, who gave her shoulders a small squeeze and gave a proud smile under his mask. "You have done well my daughter. With more time and training you will be able to touch the Force at will and learn how to wield it."

Flashback ended,

As Lita thought back to the moment when she became more opened to the Force, the promise that she made to Qui-Gon Jinn that she would never give herself to the dark side.

"Don't worry Master Qui-Gon, I won't let you down," Lita promised, "I know I will have to use the dark side, but I promise to keep the light in sight."

In the next chapter, I do plan on Lita having an encounter with the Ghost Crew. May the Force Be With You!
