This year not only did we get the Coronovirus, also known as Covid-19, but we have lost two legendary Star Wars actors, David Prowse who played Darth Vader and Jeremy Bulloch who played the bounty hunter, Boba Fett.

Lita: (sobbing) Father!

RIP David Prowse and Jeremy Bulloch you both were forces to be reckon with. You both are now one with the Force.

A Discussion Between Father and Daughter

Lita was reading about the history of the Sith, since there were no other books except for ones that discuss Sith and the dark side, when Darth Vader came in, although Lita could feel him coming as she felt a wave of darkness and possessiveness.

When Lita saw Vader again she groaned, "Great, Vader the Destroyer is back."

To her surprise, Vader didn't throw a fit, but Lita could tell that he was looking very irritated under his mask. When Rori saw Vader she hissed sharply at him, but didn't move from her spot.

"We need to discuss your behavior," Vader's dark voice boomed.

"What is there to discuss?" Lita sassed, "That you were going to kill a boy who was around my age? That you had a village burned to the ground that had unarmed men, women and children and captured any survivors?"

"I will not have you having compassion or sympathy for these Rebels or for their sympathizers," Vader boomed, "Your place is by my side. You will not be leaving it, my daughter."

Rori started growling threatingly.

"Oh is that why you took me from my home on Naboo?" Lita thought dryly.

"They kept you from me," Vader said coldly.

"Stop reading my mind," Lita snapped.

"I am not. You are broadcasting your thoughts very loudly and strong through the Force," Vader told her amused.

"So besides making me turn to the dark side, you're going to take my ability, my right to think what I want, how I feel and to choose?" Lita frowned.

"You are too stubborn to even realize your potential," Vader responded, "What's more you belong here, you belong with me. You are mine."

Lita rolled her eyes, "I agreed to let you train me in the Force, granted it was to keep you from hurting Rori and Deethreepio, and I maybe your daughter, but I am not something you own."

There's a pause where, Lita imagines her father would have sighed if he were able to regulate his own breathing. Vader ignoring the last part as he says, "I also told you what would happen if you were to disobey me."

"For what?" Lita demanded, "I have been doing your training like you want me too, I have been listening to you and I haven't once tried to escape. I remember what you told me Father you said if I try to escape, refuse orders, or disobey you in anyway, my companions will pay the price. So how is thinking what I feel or wanting to do something, but not doing it disobeying you?"

Vader responds, "Whether you intended to do any actions for it or merely thinking of them, they are still acts of disobedience my daughter. I'm not upset about that because I knew it was bound to happen."

"Then what's the problem?" Lita asked, "Why should it be considered as disobedience?"

"Do you have any idea what the Emperor would do to you if he were to discover exactly what happened? I wouldn't be able to protect you from his wrath Lita," Vader explains to her.

Lita could hear the concern in her father's voice and her voice softens, "I'm sorry I disappointed you Father."

"You didn't disappoint me," Vader said softly in his deep voice, he then gently placed his prosthetic hand on Lita's shoulder, "Lita, I promised that I would do everything in my power to keep you safe, but I can't do that if you run into danger or if you do things without thinking of the consequences. I'm not going to punish you this time, but you need to be mindful of your feelings as well as your thoughts in regarding the Emperor and if anything like this should happen again or anything worse, I will not be able to let it go, especially if the Emperor should know exactly what had happen."

"Yes Father," Lita sighed. She realized that with the Emperor around there would be so many complications, Lita wanted to leave with her father, but the Emperor had a major hold over Vader. If only there was something she could do.

"Is there something you wish to tell me?" Vader prodded.

"Nothing you don't already know," Lita responds.

"I understand your feelings of the matter, my daughter," Vader said softly, "But you are still not strong enough to fight the Emperor, patience. I have to go now I will see you tomorrow."

Vader was about to turn and leave the room as he felt two arms wrap around his mechanical suit when he looked he saw Lita hugging him. Under his mask Vader gave her a small smile as he laid a prosthetic hand on top of Lita's head. After they let go Vader exits Lita's quarters.

Lita then sighed sadly, "What am I going to do? The Emperor has such a strong hold over Vader it's almost impossible for him to leave. I can't do this, not by myself."

"Patience, Lita," answered the voice of Qui-Gon Jinn, "You are correct that this is something that you cannot do on your own, one day your paths will cross."

"Yes, Qui-Gon," Lita said softly. Rori then leaped onto the big bed and went over to her mistress to offer her some comfort. Lita stroked her pet nexu's head, "Don't worry Rori. If the Emperor thinks he can control us like Father he's wrong."

"Mistress Lita I must insist that you don't act rationally," Deethreepio spoke, "You heard what your father said. It would be unwise to set off the Emperor's wrath."

"If only you saw what I saw," Lita said to her white protocol droid, "Threatening other beings. Having the village burned down and capturing innocent men, women and children."

"I know," the droid answered, "But you can't solve all of the problems in the galaxy by yourself."

"Well nobody in the Empire is going to help, that I'm know of," Lita responded, "And who knows when I will be able to meet the ones who can help."

I hope everyone is still doing okay and staying safe. And May the Force be with You!
