Chapter One

Chapter Two: Playing too hard

Many people were sleeping, be it from a hard day or just taking a break from summer fun. One was sleeping in today enjoying their last week of summer vacation. Mizuho was walking up the stairs; the time right now was six o'clock in the morning. She was always a disciplined person with her schedule, and she wouldn't allow her brother to fall into any sloth-like behavior. So she would deliver a kicking wake-up call. She quietly opened the door.

And jumped on the bed kicking the sheets. Except there is no one in the bed or the room. Mizuho found it extremely strange that her younger brother woke up early. Well, she couldn't scold him for good behavior but she didn't hear him downstairs or in the bathroom. She shrugged her shoulders and walked out of the room.

"Well good for him," Mizuho said walking out of the room.

Keigo's eyes slowly Fluttered open as the feeling of gentle winds woke him up. He was dreaming about floating in the sky, an odd dream but it was pleasant. Keigo looked down to see his neighborhood high from the sky. Keigo let out a stiff laugh at the dream he was having. It felt very real.

Kegio laughed at how real this felt. Though he was glad to know he was in his right mind.

"Well it looks like I'm dreaming," Keigo said out loud though he couldn't help but think how real this one felt. Keigo took a long yawn and closed his eyes. It was funny drying height dreams like this, he would never be scared. The idea of flying was a kind of childhood dream of his. Too bad Keigo thought that was only a dream. After a couple of seconds, the wind still hit him. Keigo in a thinking manner came to his senses.

"I'm not dreaming," Keigo said out loud. He quickly looked down and felt his stomach drop. His ghost levitation quickly stopped and began quickly falling. He could see he was about to land on his roof and panicked. Before he could hit the roof his body phased past the roof and landed back on his bed. Keigo quickly sat up holding his heart in terror. His face was plastered with a terrified expression as if Keigo had gone on a high rollercoaster.

He slowly looked around the room and had a jaw-dropped expression. He was petrified, in fear of what just happened.

Mizuho who was down below heard the sound of the bed now bouncing. She took a long sigh and gazed at the ceiling, above her.

"Hey, I used all the warm water, so your bath is going to be cold," Mizuho shouted.

After a thrilling, wake up, call. Keigo worked the courage to go to the bathroom and brush his teeth yet every effort to do his normal routine ended with a bit of a supernatural crisis. His hands kept phasing, and nothing would stay in his grip, from an outside perspective, a normal person would see his hand vanish. It was mercurial that he brushed his teeth. Putting on some regular clothes, Jeans, and a black zip-up hoodie. Walking down he sat down at the table and tried to relax. He reached for a dish to make his food but found his hand was still shaking from earlier.

Mizuho, who was sitting at the table looked at her brother's hand. She noticed how shaken up he looked. Though Keigo walked up and made his breakfast. After he was done sat back down with a tired gaze.

"Hey, Keigo, are you okay?" She asked. Keigo's eyes snapped at Mizuho who was still holding some worry on her face. Keigo wanted to spill everything but how could say it and not sound crazy? Now he was gonna hide all of this from his sister, the world, and himself. Keigo didn't want to be a freak to the world. Gosh, he wonders if the government would experiment on him or worse.

"I'm fine Mizuho, nothing is bothering me," Keigo quickly said. Mizuho gave a sad sigh and flipped through the channels. She wasn't going to get anything from her brother while in this rut.

"Soon or later today could you go out and get us some juice? We're all out," Mizuho said. Keigo gave a nod and started to finish his breakfast. Keigo began to think about their living situation. Their parents were always working and were rarely home, they constantly were sending money to them to live, and this proved to be a lonely childhood for Keigo and Mizuho. Though they had each other and that's all that truly mattered.

Keigo didn't have anything planned out today so he would just get the juice. Right now he would act normal and ignore anything supernatural that happened today. Keigo soon was at the front door with his wallet and…

Keigo realized that his phone wasn't in his pocket, he checked his room, bathroom, and his nightstand. Though he couldn't find it anywhere.

"What! Where did I leave it?" He asked. Then it dawned on him, he must have dropped his phone when he was exploring that bundling. Keigo had to get it, there was no telling what could happen. Not to mention it would cost him a fortune to replace. Keigo didn't want to spend any money but he had to get it back.

With a heavy-handed choice, he ran out of the door. Already has a plan to get his phone. Keigo was running for dear life, if any cops found that phone, he might be facing some serious trouble. Keigo was taking so many back alleyways that he feared that he might accidentally run into a gang. But he didn't care.

While running he soon reached the front of the abandoned neighborhood, only to find me the sign and preparation of construction workers. He could see the main road into the town was cut off by orange barricades. Heavy construction vehicles, bulldozers, and even the process of setting up a crane. He quickly walked to the edge of the wall and growled in frustration. Keigo heard the steps of someone approaching. He turned his head to see a gentleman in a hard hat, he was taller than Keigo and had a tired expression. Wearing dark-framed glasses and an underbite.

"Hey excuse me, sir is it possible that I could enter those buildings, I forgot my phone," Keigo asked. The man's straight posture could make Keigo tell he was a stick-in-the-mud businessman.

"No, unfortunately, this is now private land," The worker said. Keigo knew the man was only doing his job but he needed to get in. Not to mention how fast somebody bought this place, the day Keigo was here must have been its last day of freedom.

"Hey, you wouldn't mind just letting me just for a second, heck You even watch me, so I don't even cause you any trouble," Keigo said. The worker shook his head no.

"Oh come on man, just let me in!" Keigo said in a dramatic manner pointing his hands at the area ahead.

"Do you have cotton in your damn ears, I am not losing my job over some reckless kid, besides we're working here!" He shouted back. Keigo glanced at the site seeing it was just that one guy.

"I don't see anyone here," Keigo pointed out. It was so quiet and empty that a tumbleweed bounced through the area, even though that plant was native to Japan. Keigo turned to face the man with narrowed eyes.

"Alright some of the boys got scared off by a " ghost" last night, some kid with white hair and glowing green eyes," he said. Keigo began to realize who that was and hid his surprised expression from the man.

"So if no one's here I can get in," Keigo tried to persuade the man.

"LISTENS KID I DON'T CARE WHO YOU ARE, YOUR STUPID FACE AINT GETTING IN!" The Worker yelled. Keigo was about to talk back to the adult but the worker's face of anger dropped completely when he noticed a black limo pull-up near the parking lot. The worker's face dropped in terror. The parking lot was around the corner. The worker glanced back to Keigo and where the limo went.

"You stay here dammit and don't move," The worker said as he ran down to meet who was inside the limo. Keigo could see no one was keeping guard of the area, Keigo waited for the man to be out of sight and quickly ran in. He could see the bundling where he lost his phone was a block away. Taking a moment to himself he ran into the bundling, down the stairs that lead to the lab. However, when Keigo tried to push on the metal door it was locked. He cursed himself at how he was going to get in. Keigo leaned against the door trying to figure it out.

"HEY, YOU DUMB KID YOU BETTER NOT BE DOWN THERE OR YOU'RE IN A WORLD OF TROUBLE," The construction worker's voice rang throughout the house. Keigo tried to think of a plan but all this in her panic didn't help him at all. However, that feeling soon manifests itself into infallibility. Keigo passed through the door and landed flat face first. He quickly glanced at the other side of the don't and let out a surprise smirk.

"Uh, that came in hand," Keigo thought. He could see the portal to the lab was shut off and no glowing green portal came from the tunnel. Keigo was relieved and quickly looked around to find his phone. Keigo screeched the floor, the tables, the cabinets, and even inside the tunnel.

"Come on where is it?" Keigo said out loud. Now scrambling on the floor, the door to the room was unlocked, Keigo's head snapped to see it open as the worker came in with a pissed face. Keigo got to his feet and put his hands up in a non-threatening manner.

"Hey sorry about that, I guess my phone wasn't in here so how about we forget all this," Keigo said in a nervous voice. The worker had his fist tightened and began to walk towards him, Keigo could tell this was going to be the worst throw-out to the street corner.

"WHEN I'M DONE WITH YOU KID YOU'RE GOING TO NEED-"

"What is going on here Mister Lang," A voice cut him off, Keigo couldn't see the person who stood in the doorway but he felt an instance rush of cold shudder through his body, It wasn't just the shivers, Keigo could feel his body become cold as a silver of blue mist peak out of his mouth. Keigo felt a sense of danger and stood in his place. Lang slowly turned around in a shaky stance.

The foreign man slowly stepped out of the shadows, with his hands behind his back, walking with a high posture. He stood five, six and his hair was a ghostly white tied in a ponytail. He looked to be in his forties and his triangle facial hair. His blue eyes were sharp with a proud nature. He wore a black suit and a Western red bow tie.

"What was that!" Keigo thought in a panic.

"Ah, mister Master I was just escorting this boy off your property," Lang said apologetically. Keigo's eyes widened at what the worker just said.

"Did he just masters, as in Vlad Master one of the richest people in the world, Oh and I'm on his land, I'm so dead," The Young teen thought. Slowly Vlad's gaze switched toward Keigo.

"Then allow me to do that, Your job is to build my new mansion, and I don't want any more delays understood," Vald said in a displeased voice.

"But sir-" Lang was cut off by Vlad again.

"Get your men back to this site, now! Besides, I'm not paying you double time for anything am I, Now get a move on, Oh also any more ghost stories that scare your people, I'll find someone else. " Vlad ordered in a harsh tone of voice. Keigo thought he sounded very angry and displeased with the worker.

Lang quickly got up the stairs in a very quick manner. Leaving Keigo and Vlad alone in the room. Keigo felt a bit uncomfortable and wanted to get out of the room, that ghostly chill freaked him out. Vlad faced Keigo with a raised eyebrow.

"I'm so sorry sir, I didn't mean to sneak in, I had to find my phone," Keigo said. Vlad's serious expression quickly vanished into a gentle, fatherly smile.

"Oh, you mean this phone," from behind his back he quickly revealed the phone was in his hand. Keigo's eyes widened in surprise.

"Well here you go, young man, I know how important it is with teenagers and their phones," Vlad said, dropping it into his hands. Keigo quickly caught the phone and glanced nervously at one of the richest people in the world. Vlad Master a man who had his hand in almost every company around the world was looking right at him, Keigo gulped some air and was thinking of the best apology he could muster.

"I'm so sorry sir I just-," Keigo was cut off by a gentle hand on his shoulder. It wasn't rough or invading but it was strong.

"It alright my dear boy, I know how reckless youths can be, and you were here before they arrived, so no harm done," Vlad said with a gentle smile. Keigo took a sigh of relief.

"Oh jeez, thanks, I just feel really bad you had to go through that, find my phone, and uh hey you would happen to find any clothes too?" Keigo asked. Vlad had a thinking look.

"Oh yeah, we did find some nice threads however, we thought they were some Vagabond so we ended up throwing them away," Vlad said nonchalantly, Keigo held his head down in an exaggerated sulking matter.

"Aw, man," Keigo said. Vlad raised an eyebrow and walked to the doorway.

"How about you tell me your disappointment on the way out, Please let me escort you personally, I wouldn't want any accidents to happen to someone who could sue for negligence," Vlad said in a stand-up gentlemanly manner. Keigo wouldn't go there especially if he was going to sue one of the richest people in the world that would have been a no thanks for him.

"No, we're good. We're more than good, we're great so let's not think about anything too horrible that could involve the law, Mr. Masters," Keigo said in a quick panic. Vlad waved his hand gently in front of Keigo.

"It's alright young man, I was just simply stating but I'm glad you would think that way, Please let us get you to safety," Vlad said. The two walked up the stairs slowly making their way out of the house. As they made it to the hallway Vlad noticed a picture on the ground, he stopped and slowly picked up, wanting to be extremely gentle. He wiped away the dust on the glass. He had a sad melancholy frown.

Keigo could see the picture, it was a family photo. There was a man with a large body wearing an orange jumpsuit and a woman wearing a blue jumpsuit. In front of them were two teenagers looking around to be Keigo's age. Vlad gave a sad nostalgic sigh.

"Maddie," Vlad said, making the name sound as sweet as candy. Keigo gave an awkward cough to snap him out of his daze. Though Vlad still looked at the picture.

"So you know the lady in the picture?" Keigo asked. Vlad gently put the photo in his dress coat.

"She was someone very important to me, this whole building was her home for a little while," Vlad said. Keigo could tell it was a sensitive subject he thought about, maybe asking about this building and what exactly that lab was for. truthfully, he didn't want to talk about the green portal that appeared there. He didn't want to appear crazy to Vlad.

"So if you don't mind me asking, what's up with this place," Keigo asked. Vlad slowly straightens himself out and switches his professional gaze on Keigo.

"This young man was the home of the Fentons, The whole neighborhood was shut down because of the belief of radioactive activity happening here, though they never found anything, the neighborhood soon lost its credibility, and residents began to move," Vlad said as he started to walk. Keigo followed along putting his ear and eagerly out to hear what he had to say next.

"Jack Fenton," Vlad said with utter hatred, that Keigo could see his calm front crack. Though he quickly pulled himself back together. "He and Maddie were scientists, they had two children, Danny and Jazz. They called themselves expert ghost hunters, they moved to Japan on rumors about more supernatural activity here."

Keigo thought that would have been strange but still after yesterday's events, he couldn't say that.

"So the people left because of some wacky scientist," Keigo asked, he, then started to know the past tense that Mr. Masters was speaking in. "Also What's up with that lab,"

The two now were outside the Fenton building, Vlad faced the establishment with a sad glance.

"You see my dear boy, Jack Fenton was a man who believed that all supernatural events occurred, and came from one place an inter-dimension that exists outside of ours, a ghost zone is what he called it, Jack believed that one could enter this ghost zone, with the right technology," Vlad's eyes soon turned into a downward saddens "Unfortunately during one of his reckless tests, it caused a massive explosion, it killed Maddie and her children but Jack, well I hear he's in one of these local prisons wasting away, though no one knew what to do with the lab so they let it waste away."

"You seem to know a lot about them?" Keigo asked with some interest. Vlad let a sad nostalgic smile appear on his face.

"I used to go to college with Jack and Maddie," Vlad said quickly. "We were good friends once, though that was a long time ago,"

Keigo could see it was a sensitive subject, but why did this man want this lap? To build a mansion seemed too innocent to be the real reason. Though it wasn't his problem, why should he worry about it?

"All I just want is to honor my friend's study all, now Please let us be on our way," Vlad said walking to the exit. The two are now at the orange barricades, Keigo on the other side while Vlad goes to see him off.

"Well have a pleasant day, It was nice to meet you, uh, I didn't get your name?" Vlad asked. The young teen didn't want to be rude and gave a nonchalant wave.

"Oh sorry I'm Keigo Asano," He greeted.

"Well Keigo you know I'm a bit new to this town, You wouldn't mind sometime shortly, you would show me around like a dear friend," Vlad said in an almost innocent manner. Yet behind it, there was almost a hint of treachery. Keigo just thought it was the way the man talked, it was absolutely obvious that this man was alone. Keigo wasn't against the idea of helping a multi-millionaire around town. Heck, you thought maybe you could even get a tip.

"I wouldn't mind at all sir," Keigo said cheerfully. Vlad nodded in approval and was about to leave to check in on Lang when Keigo stopped him with a question.

"So do you think that ghost portal stuff works," Keigo asked with a hope for an answer to explain his situation. Maybe it was all a hallucination from a gas leak, in the lab. That it was all a terrible mistake. Though Keigo knew it was all real he was trying to ignore everything that happened yesterday. Vlad let out a hardy laugh and held his stomach.

"Oh of course not, that would be entirely insane!" Vlad said, having a smile and wiping away a teardrop from his eyes. Keigo wanted to laugh but he couldn't find the laugh.

"Alright, I think that's enough laughing for one day, Now if you don't mind I got to make sure everything is in tip-top shape," Vlad said waving goodbye to Keigo. He quickly walked away and held his head down trying not to think much of what happened. Unknown to Keigo Vlad still stared at the young teen walking away.

"My what an interesting teen," Vlad said and pulled out a silver tablet, It was security footage of Keigo entering the building. The video skipped to Keigo walking into the portal, accidentally activating it, making the lights so bright that it shorted out the camera. Vlad smiled and now had a villainess hint at the corner of his lips.

"I can't wait to break this town in,"

Keigo was walking home and took a long sigh, walking down the street, his head down and eyes sad. There was so much he didn't need right now.

"If that was a portal to some sort of afterlife, what exactly happened to me?" Keigo thought. What gave him these strange powers? If ghosts were involved that means, he was a ghost, that's impossible he was still alive. He had a beating heart, breathing air, walking with the living.

Not to mention what caused that horrible chill, When it happened he felt his entire body temperature drop to zero. Though it wasn't uncomfortable it felt more like a jolt to alert him. Not to mention one of the richest men in the world was staying in their town. Keigo thought how crazy all this was.

"I bet Ichigo and the others are having a great party right now," Keigo thought. While he could see them all having a great time it still stinks that he was alone. Keigo stopped and gazed down at his hands, wondering what he was going to do now.

"What am I going to do, having strange powers at this age, sounds like a bad manga, teenage." Keigo thought. He then walked and heard the sound of a man crying. Keigo looked ahead to see a businessman, crying on the streets. Keigo thought it was the same story as the poor man was probably laid off.

Keigo was just simply going to ignore the poor guy but as he walked by him, he could see a sliver chain sticking out of his chest. Like a bullet of nostalgia hitting him, the young teenager recognized it. He stopped and stared at the man. Now acknowledging that up close, he looked a bit translucent. His gaze somehow made the poor man notice him.

"You can see me," The man said, "Oh thank goddess please help me!"

Keigo was shocked, he wanted to run but right now he was seeing what he could tell was a ghost. Keigo couldn't find the words to say anything. It was a ghost in the world of the living.

"Hey, I can see you," Keigo said. Though he quickly ran away from the ghost leaving the man in a baffled state. He kept running and wouldn't look back. He wanted a normal life that didn't involve any ghosts or weirdness. Keigo ran down the street and passed another person with a chain, and then another. All of them gave him a glance or passed by.

"How is this even possible and why are there so many dead people here," Keigo said, letting out a scream.

"Hey stop! This guy can see us!" The Spirit said. Many of the others began to slowly follow Keigo. The teen didn't want anything to do with this and ran at a steady pace.

"Hey please come back, can you help us," The business ghost shouted. Keigo began to pick up his pace and frantically ran away.

"I just want to go home!" He cried as the spirits chased him

The sun was now drifting into the afternoon and the clouds were puffy.

In Karakura town, there were many sports fields for high school teams, across this town district. To many teens it was the path to success, and out of the small town. Though in truth it was where legendary athletes were born, people who could make it to America or the Olympics.

The ghost that was here slowly landed on the baseball field. He glanced all over the field and walked quietly into the empty field. By the field was a small building, and its entryway was blocked off by a metal gate on top of it said Baseball Hall of Fame. The Ghost floated towards the gate and fazed through them. He went unto the building with a worried gaze, he didn't know what he was going to find.

The ghost drifted through the halls, seeing trophies, bats, and team jerseys all in decorated display. These were many of the famous people who came out of this town. Yet the ghost hauntingly, however, came to a halt when he saw the display of the Kuro mad tigers. They were a famous baseball team in this town originally when the first high school was built that was their baseball mascot. Most of the displays showed pictures of the team and championship trophies. He had a hopeful smile and floated in the halls.

After a couple of minutes, he found nothing another hour still the Ghost didn't find anything.

The Ghost, Narrowed its eyes at the display, noticing something very wrong.

"Where am I?" He asked out loud. He frantically looked trying to find any reference to himself but to no avail. Then a wave of despair hit him as he lowered his head, his hands sliding down the glass frame.

"How did they not remember me? I was a key member of their team, those…Those…THOSE… giant jerks think they can leave old Striker in the dust. I'll show them not to mess with a legend like me," The Ghost who called himself striker, declared with a fury of rage-filled with betrayal.

His hands glowed green and soon formed a single bat in his left hand, glowing green with emerald envy. He gently tapped the glass right before swinging it and breaking the glass littering it with vandalism.

"When I'm done with this town no one will forget about the Shinzo striker!" He yelled with hunting vengeance. Now he swung his green bat upward, sending out a wave of green energy completely dismantling the roof. Making a cloud of debris, Striker flew right out of it into the sky, cackling into the night. Many of the local spirits, and even the hollows could feel his mad laughter.

Keigo was now out of breath and hanging on a light post. Hunched over and dry heaving, Trying to catch his breath, he was pretty sure he outran those ghosts, Keigo thought those chains were creepy. He slowly steadied himself and tried to think about going home. Then he remembered he still had to go to the store and pick up Pog juice for her sister. However, after what happened today, it seemed a normal life was slowly slipping away from his grip.

"No I won't fall into whatever this is, That ghost portal is not on me," Keigo thought. This wasn't his world, that feeling of being normal was long gone. Keigo in a desperate state forced it down. He gathered himself and put his hand in his pocket.

"Just go to the store and get some juice," Keigo thought, "And ignore anything spoken forever,"

Keigo walked down the street, he walked at a regular pace, Keigo didn't want to be his usual goofy and extremely hyper-active boy, often using overly dramatic movements and words to act out his feelings. Now he was just sacred to the unknown.

"Uh, I wonder if this is permanent," Keigo thought while walking. He gazed at his hand remembering that lack of feeling that went through his body. It was strange and his hands were cold and yet he wasn't uncomfortable at all. He flexed his hand noticing it was completely fine. While walking he had to think if he could perhaps control this power. He gazed at his hand and tried to think of alone trying

While walking he had his head down oblivious to the world around him. Keigo truly believed that he wanted this gone. The day went by as usual for Keigo as he shopped in the grocery store picking up a curtain of juice. Walking back to his home and slowly getting into his house he dropped off the groceries. No one was home. He took a deep breath and sat down at the kitchen table.

He put his elbows on the table and held his head. Thinking that it was a good time to rest and recover his thoughts. Then his arms became intangible and fazed through the table, blaming his head on the table

"Ow!" Keigo said in pain. His forehead was irritated with a red mark.

"Stupid powers, gosh all that stuff about ghosts, and now I'm seeing them, does that mean I'm a ghost?" Keigo's train of thought was stopped when all of these ghost problems hinted at something more grim. He gazed at the invisible terror in his mind.

"Did I die?" He asked out loud, his mind went to the void. He wanted to stop thinking and get his mind off the subject. He was just a normal teen. With normal problems, he wanted nothing more than to take his mind off all of this.

He was going for a walk again. Heading out toward the door he just wanted to clear his head. Even staying at home wasn't relaxing. The constant thought of going through the walls or floors of his house was not something it wanted to tiptop around. All he could do was walk and think.

On an abandoned baseball field, where the grass was overgrown. The base plates cracked and the white chalk lines were all but faded. The metal stans are rusted and the edges are serrated over time. The scoreboard lay face up to the sky.

The striker was standing on the pitcher's plate. He had a cold heartless expression on his face. Like the whole world around them, like it met nothing to him. The wind slowly blew behind his back. Though he didn't care at all for this cold world, it made no sense to him.

Striker stood comparable to a statue just waiting. His eyes locked onto the ground just standing there. In his hand, he was gripping a baseball tightly in his hands. Striker slowly gazed up and scanned the area side to side. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. To striker this field had so much history to him. Even on long summer practices, where he would train for championships. Baseball was his life and code, he would train so hard that his plans would bleed. Hitting that ball? Making thunder from that metal bat was music to his ears. Even now he could feel the crowd cheering him on.

Through tough trials, Striker would always prevail, only this time he couldn't. That feeling of nostalgia stopped as he opened his eyes and glared at the town ahead of him.

It was then a black maw into space opened into the air above the field. Striker slowly glanced up to see a horrible creature crawling out of it. As the maw slowly closed back up.

It was towering over 13 feet tall, with a slim muscular body structure. Its skin is dark blue. While its appearance was very humanoid, it still had a great big white mask covering its head and neck. In the middle of its chest was a giant hole. With sunken eyes that glowed red. It fell from the sky and landed on the ground. The striker could see if there is a number tattooed on its back. The number was two hundred, though the ghost barely cared as the monster let out a creepy moan.

This creature was hollow, a creature born from a human soul, now a creature with an endless hunger only to eat the souls of the living. The creature turned its attention to Striker and sniffed the air. It began to stare at him with a wandering gaze.

"I can't smell you?" The hollow said. Slowly he approached Striker, circling him like a shark. Striker couldn't have cared less and gripped his baseball tighter. The hollow reds were hard set on this strange human soul.

"You're a weird one alright, I can't smell you, I can't even feel any spiritual energy. Heck even lower life forms can give it off but you," The Hollow gave a slight gagging at just being near Striker. "Not to mention the air around was terrible, You taste like an old gym and I don't think your skin is supposed to be that green,"

"Piss off," Striker said, his voice showing he wasn't spoken at all. The hollow smirked and decided to make this strange human respect him before he devoured him. He would make this human spirit bow to him, using his spiritual pressure. The hollow mask formed a wicked smile. Spiritual Pressure, also referred to as "Reiatsu" is the physical force that a person's Spiritual Power creates when released. Some beings can control it and force it on others to bring them to their knees.

"My name Is Coco Slash, You'll know that I came here to kill many unwanted spirits! You're probably wondering why I'm telling you this, it is because it will be the last thing you hear." Coco said with joy.

A wave of gray washed over the area making the bird in the trees fly away. The Hollow smirk quickly vanished as Striker did not bend a knee. He was unfazed and still annoyed, shooting a harsh glare at the Hollow.

The Hollow rushes back to gain space, it is unsure what had just happened. What this creature just saw was unexplainable.

"He should have gone down quickly why the hell is he still standing? Lord Aizen gave me a great Spiritual Power, to confuse my enemies, He said that was meant to confuse a soul reaper captain!" The Hollow thought in panic. So many questions were in its mind but all those stopped when Striker glared at him like a punk.

"Get out of my face gutter trash!" Striker said with a pissed tone of voice. The Hollow was snapped into a blind rage leaping a the ghost with a wide jaw. The hollow leaped with wild glee In the air. "It does not matter, I'll still kill him! If I feel nothing it means, he's powerless," Coco thought.

The Hollow's jaw was so close to chopping off Striker's head, that its wild eyes locked on to its prey. All seemed to be over for Striker, until with a mighty fast punch, he slammed into Coco's jaw, launching him into the crowd stance. The Hollow's body crushed the metal stands and lay in a pile of rubble.

Coco quickly got up and locked across the field to see Striker standing there with an angry front. His eyes glowed with emerald green lights. Coco felt his jaw broken and hanging by the muscle tenders, right now he was acting like a wild animal, with flight or fight only in its mind.

An odd feeling had entered the hollow mind, something he thought was impossible. It was like he was a human child shaking at the storys of monsters and yokai. This was no human but something more haunting. Coco took his step forward and like the flick of a light switch. Striker vanished into the air leaving no Reiatsu behind.

Coco was flabbergasted at what had just happened, It had made no sense, did this human spirit have power, Did he face a soul reaper? That answer proved to be a dead end. He couldn't sense this being at all, it was like he vanished into thin air.

"What's happening!" Coco thought in hysteria.

"Boo!" Said Striker as he appeared out of thin air, smack dab in front of the giant hollow. His glare of annoyance didn't change and was strictly set upon the corrupted soul. Coco slashed out racing a first and throwing a punch right at Striker. This time the green ghost caught the first with ease, stopping the impact from ever happening. Coco could only see thoughts of dead haunting green eyes. There was a moment of silence. The Hollow was completely lost and didn't know what to do for the first time it felt fear, not of being eaten or killed, but afraid of what it was looking at. He could feel how cold Striker's hand was, this was not the warm of the living but the cold icy grip of the dead.

"W-w-what Are you?" Coco asked. Striker leaned into its face real closely.

"I'm a ghost, who loves baseball, wanna play?" Striker said as he lifted his palm, revealing the baseball in his hand as it slowly ignited in a green inferno. With lightning-fast reflexes, he cocked his arm back, riding himself for a pitch right at Coco's head.

Coco tried to block the attack as the flaming baseball hit, his arms bursting through his flesh, right into his mask, and out of his back cranium. leaving only a mess of the flesh and bone.

The ball was still hurled at a distance, falling into the city or rising. Stryker looks down at the now-dead and gives a satisfied smirk.

"Oh, man look what you made me do You force me and I'll get my ball over there, in the city where they forgot me," Stryker, said, as he slowly walked away from the field, heading towards the small, innocent town, bringing his wrath and carnage, making sure it would be total ruin. He started to hum a song while walking down to the town.

"Take me out to the ball game, take me out to the ball~," he sang.

Keigo was now in the more empty area of town, with just some parks and small juvenile trees. No one was around but he was tired of walking. He sat down on the grass hill that led to the local river bank. There was no longer avoiding this feeling, every second he couldn't stop thinking about it or hide this power from himself.

What was he? Keigo thought deeply about what Vlad said about the ghost portal. Ghost? This means the afterlife, Keigo finally was able to understand what exactly happened to him.

The phasing through walls, the floating in the air, seeing ghosts, and the glowing green eyes. Keigo wasn't human, he was a ghost but not all the time. It may have sounded childish but made too much sense. The signs were all pointing at it. Keigo could still feel his heartbeat and warmth. So what was me, looking down at his hands only one thing came to his mind.

"Am I half-ghost?" Keigo asked. His eyes shone in terror as he stared at his hands. While a grim thought, entered his mind.

"Did I die?" He asked himself. All along a moment of deciphering had entered his mind, yet trying to find an answer for what he was met with a cold unforgiving truth. He was somewhere in the middle of life and death. He surely felt a panic attack take him over, but he wouldn't fall like that.

That unpaired positivism told him not to panic and in some manner made Keigo stay positive, The young teen locked himself in the river bank seeing his reflection. He noticed he was still human. He was still himself, whether or not something was inside of him he would always be himself. Having that smile he wore in dark times and light.

He gripped his fists in a determined way. Keigo can't stop thinking about his powers; he wouldn't allow them to control him. Keigo glanced around the area to see no one was around.

He took a long sigh as Keigo was going to try and control this unknown power. Before he could act his mind stopped thinking about all his knowledge of superheroes, mangas, and comic books. The young half-ghost teen scratched his chin, trying to think of something that could maybe give him an idea to control his powers. Keigo looking back on the first time he transformed was in control.

"Alright let's give this a shot," Keigo said.

"Powers go!" Keigo said at the top of his lungs. Keigo waited for something to happen. Only for the sounds of crickets to be his response.

"Okay let's try this again," Keigo said this time getting in pose and sticking his fist out.

"Henshin!" He called out yet nothing happened. Keigo slumped his head down. He hoped a battle cry would make him go back into that ghost form, "Aw great well, it's better I just get out with,"

"Shazam! It's Morphin time! It's Hero Time! UP UP AND AWAY!" Keigo shouted while doing heroic poses each time falling flat on his face and failing.

Keigo sat in the fetal position and was now warped in self-doubt, as comedic tears rolled down his face. "This so unfair Why can't I transformer! I felt like it last time."

Then a lightbulb shined over Keigo's head. He gazed at the river feeling inspired. He shouldn't force it, he should just go with the flow. Keigo now finally has some idea of what to do. He kept his eyes open so he wouldn't miss anything. He remembered that great freedom of that chain that was attached to him, that finale broke off him.

"I guess I'm-," Keigo cut himself off thinking of the right words to describe what would happen. "I guess I'm going ghost,"

Keigo felt right saying that in some grand cosmic sort of manner in the universe When Keigo said that it was like finding a new calling; like his very soul needed to hear that. With that sense of feeling free. His soul was unbound from the earth. The two rings of light flashed over his body. Keigo's snow-white hair and glowing green eyes had returned, still wearing his black hoodie however underneath his clothes where the jumpsuit he wore that night.

The young teen gazed down at himself but instead of fear had an amazed face, knowing he was in control brought some comfort to himself. Keigo had admired his new clothing.

"So that's what happens to my clothes!" Keigo said, finding it cool that he had a fit already. Keigo wanted to try one thing and that was to fly. He relaxed and felt himself left off the ground. Keigo gave a nervous laugh.

"I can fly!" Keigo said as he was a foot off the ground.

"I'll go only this far today, I don't want to go any higher," Keigo said as his tone of voice soon turned into a dead pad expression, "because that's too high for today," Keigo said.

Keigo looked at his hands and smiled.

"I wonder?" Keigo said.

Keigo landed back on the ground and knelt on the ground, he focused on his intangibility. His hands soon became invisible, and he could freely move his hands in the temporal. Keigo pulled his hands out and they went back to normal.

"Cool~," Keigo said.

He let out an amazed sporadic laugh, all of this was amazing. He clearly had the best story over the break. He felt a whole new world had opened up to him. Keigo now had a bigger grand purpose, besides being a below-average student. He was something new and he would take full advantage of it. Keigo gave a triumphant stance and threw his fist up in the air.

"With these powers, I'll be able… to spy on naked girls," Keigo shouted from the top of his lungs. There was a moment of silence. Keigo stood proud until baseball came out of nowhere and hit him in the head.

"Ow!" Keigo cried as he fell to the ground holding his head. It didn't really hurt. It was just the force and the timing that caught him off guard. He slowly got to his feet and could see a white baseball with some black substance covering it.

"HEY WHO HECK IS THROWING BALLS AT PEOPLE!" Keigo shouted in anger. His hand grazed the black liquid that covered the baseball. Keigo slowly brought his nose toward the blood, smelling no scent. Keigo quickly darted his head around to make sure no one was watching him.

Keigo slowly brought his tongue to the liquid and dabbed it very quickly. Keigo stopped and gazed at his hands and had an awkward cough.

"That's blood, yep That is a hundred percent blood," Keigo slowly gazed at the ball and quickly dropped in panic.

"WHY IS THAT COVERED IN BLOOD!" Keigo yelled in hysteria.

"HEY YOU," A voice called out from behind him. Keigo turned around to see on the sidewalk, a person walking out from the shadows of the darkness. Who is now illuminated by a rising moon, cracks his neck, and holds a green glowing baseball bat in his left hand, Striker appears at the end of the sidewalk. Keigo could see the green being smirking at him like he was looking at a familiar face.

"Hey, ball boy can I have that back!"

So that's why chapter two? wanted to get some world-building and explanation out of the window so why some stuff is here and there? Vlad is already in the city and is gonna change, I can't wait to show more of Striker. I really like how things are going and I know there was some mix-up and confusion about the strange creature that Keigo saw, was actually someone very important in Bleach, It's the whole reason for the Quincy for attacking the soul society.

Spoiler warning for bleach if you're not caught up on Bleach
