Teba's POV

I have come through a portal to aid Master Revali and change his fate. And to hopefully save the other Champions as well.

I know Sidon and Riju most of all would be heartbroken if I couldn't save their Champions for them.

…Or maybe they're also here to save them?

Master Revali and I were currently fighting a fiend known as Windblight Ganon. A monster made of Malice that I only know of from Link's stories and the burn on his right hip from its blast.

But I don't remember him describing it like this.

Either that or I severely underestimated his fighting skills but I doubted it. He was always honest.

I distracted the fiend, zipping across the sky. Blasts of burning light igniting the air behind me and crashing into mountains in the distance.

"All yours, Master Revali!" I shouted, dipping down below the Divine Beast.

I saw the Rito Champion shoot three bomb arrows at Wndblight. But it easily deflected them and they blew up in midair. Safely away from the monster.

"What?" I questioned, coming to hover in the air. "That thing's still standing?"

"Yes. And yet…" Revali paused beside me. "I can't help but feel that the wind may finally be at our backs."

Windblight fired at us, causing us to scatter.

Then, after a few more minutes of useless fire, footsteps caught my attention.

A young man in blue ran out, wielding the Master Sword. His blonde hair and blue eyes that almost seemed to glow struck a chord in me. I almost thought he was Link.

But then I noticed his short…er hair and lack of guardian burns and Sheikah slate and I realized it wasn't him.

I was in the past so maybe it was his ancestor?

anyway, his help was greatly appreciated.

Link's ancestor fought like a trained soldier. Stiff and fluid. Nothing like his chaotic descendant.

Revali and I help draw away Windblight's attention and fire as the Hylian dealt damage up close and disabling its shield operations.

As a nice dose of salt in the wound, the knight jumped into the air. He pulled out a soldier's bow and quick as a flash of lightning, fired a arrow right into the beast's eye.

It screeched and exploded. Malice flew everywhere and covered everything. I just barely avoided getting knocked out of the sky by it.

I came to land beside the Hylian, avoiding the pools of malice. Revali wasn't far behind.

"Thank you." I nodded. Revali scoffed. "If you don't mind me asking, who are you?"

"I'm Link." He said.

That sent me for a loop. Link? But he looked nothing like the Link I knew…

I then saw his sword. It was almost exactly like the one my Link once had and the one Sky holds. The Master Sword.

Covered in black and his own blood and Malice. It looked better then in my time, when cracks tarnish it and makes it look ready to snap at any moment in time.

I hummed. Revali stepped forward.

"Well, in any case, you can go back to the others. Teba and I'll work damage control and take care of the remaining monsters."

Link nodded stiffly. He turned and left the Divine Beast, taking out his paraglider to slow his descent.

"Time to show those monsters what happens when you mess with me." Revali growled slightly.

"We need to take out all enemy outposts!" I clarified as Revali took up position at Medoh's main control unit.

"Tell me when!" Revali said.

"When!"

Medoh started attacking the outposts as they entered attack range.

"It can't be…!" I gasped.

"What is it?" Revali demanded in concern.

"It's Windblight… it's back!" I said. The fiend screeched in response.

"Well, we'll just have to send it back to hell." Revali said darkly, setting Medoh on the Shard of Calamity Ganon.

Revali smirked as he unleashed Medoh's special attack. "How do you like that?"

It screeched and exploded again. "Well that was quick". I muttered.

"And there goes the last outpost!" Revali exclaimed. "Time to regroup with the others."

"Now then…" Urbosa said. Apparently Riju had come through the portal to save her, which makes sense but she could've gotten hurt! "First, I owe you my gratitude."

We also had the heroes including our Link, known as Wild, and his girlfriend Flora. So this time's Link and Zelda are known as Calamity (Cal) and Destiny (Desi) respectfully.

"Thank you for your help." Urbosa said. "Truly."

"Urbosa…" Desi said.

"And second…" Urbosa looked down. "Riju, you said? We could not have prevailed without your aid."

"I-I would not presume to take credit." Riju said despite me knowing how it must feel like Hylia Fest has come early for her. "We—all of us—fought as one."

Master Revali walked forward, sights set on Cal.

"Hmm." Cal glared at the champion. "Well, we would've been just fine without you."

But… he saved us. But I kept quiet.

Revali turned his back to Cal. "But I suppose it's better that you were here."

"I never thought the Champion would be so…" I didn't have the chance to finish my sentence.

"Hold that thought for now." Urbosa said, turning to Desi. "Little Burd, please tell us what happened at Hyrule Castle."

"Well, you see…" she started hesitantly before telling us of how Ganon's taken control of the Castle. And how her father died trying to protect it.

I looked at Flora for any reaction for that part, but she just shrugged and crossed her arms behind her head. Yawning.

"Is this funny to you?" Urbosa said. I have a feeling that they didn't have the best start when a woman looking creepily similar to her Little Bird ran in to save her.

Flora shook her head. "Naw, this stuff just isn't new to me. I mean, for a considerably long time for us, Hyrule Castle was known as the 'Calamity's Domain'. And I never liked father. His constant scoldings never helped with the 'unbreakable spirit' I was supposed to have to unlock my power."

Urbosa frowned. "Well then how did you unlock it?"

"My friend was about to die and I acted." Flora said stiffly. She lowered her arms and held her hands so she was hiding the back of her right hand. "Simple as that."

Her tone made it clear she didn't want to talk about it as she stared Urbosa down.

Said Gerudo Chieftess shifted uncomfortably. Many people do that when faced with Flora's 'you better be glad this isn't my death glare even though I don't fully like you' stare.

It comes in handy a lot more than you would think. Like the time Wild made friends with a gold-maned Lynel.

"You're an archer?" Revali raised an eyebrow, catching the bow on Flora's back.

"Yeah." She brightened, taking it off. "I prefer to use it but I'm still pretty good with a sword. It was custom made by a friend."

Revali studied it in awe. "I almost became a bow maker. I'm starting to regret not taking Kratalo's apprenticeship."

"I'm starting to regret not staying home." Flora muttered tiredly.

"Well, since you're in a good mood," Desi said. "Revali, would you mind flying us to Zora's Domain? The others are there right now and we need to regroup."

"Of course." Revali's face turned serious again, handing Flora back her bow.

"Wait a minute…" Wind said, digging in his pockets. "I… have… an… idea… ha!"

He pulled out a necklace with a glowing blue crystal. "Wild!" He shouted into it.

The familiar kitten sound of Wild getting surprised came out of the gem.

"Wind!" Wild said. "How are ya?"

"We saved Urbosa and Revali!" Wind said excitedly. "And get this… Teba and Riju are here as well!"

Wild sighed. "I had a feeling. Sidon and Yunobo are here as well."

A look of fear came over Twilight. "Oh no."

"Oh yes." I could hear Wild's gremlin smile. "We fought a Igneo Talus and a Fire Lynel! Seriously though, who's bright idea was it to super power basically every monster?"

"Exactly!" Four protested.

"Anyway," Wild laughed lightly. "Everyone's fine over here. "Mipha and Daruk are okay. A little battered and bruised but they'll live."

Urbosa subconsciously rubbed the new, still healing scar on her abdomen. Revali tested his heavily burned left leg.

"Okay!" Wind said. "We'll be there soon!"

"What was that?" Desi asked.

"A communication stone." Wind explained. "I originally got it during my first quest."

It still hurt me when a thirteen-year-old boy said how he's been on more then one deadly end-of-the-world style quest.

It hurt learning Legend was fresh out of eleven when asked to save a kingdom and hasn't stopped yet.

"We need to get going." Twilight said, pulling me from my reverie.

"Right." Urbosa said. "Riju and I'll wait for you in Hyrule Field and hope to slow the flow of Guardians to you."

"Got it." Desi nodded.
