Mara brought the ship that Luke finally named The Twin Moons out of hyperspace. They started to make their approach to Coruscant when they were hailed.
"Inbound freighter this is Mon Remonda."
"Mon Remonda this is The Twin Moons, Master Skywalker speaking."
"Master Skywalker you are requested to dock with us. General Cracken has already come aboard along with the Jedi."
"Roger that, send docking coordinates." a minute later. "Coordinates received."
Mara headed the ship to the small fleet waiting for them. Once they docked the headed to the starboard airlock.
When they passed threw the airlock, Corran was waiting for them.
"Master Skywalker, welcome aboard and you as well Mara."
"Thanks Corran, I guess General Cracken is waiting to do a last minute briefing."
"He is. He is just waiting on you to see which Jedi you plan to send with which group."
"Lead the way Corran."
As they made their way to the briefing room Cracken had set aside for them Corran explained that everyone had quarters on board. He told them that Cracken figured they would want to stay on their ship but if they wanted to stay on the cruiser they had rooms reserved for them.
Mara told Corran that they would stay on their ship and they had 5 extra rooms if any of the Jedi wanted to stay with them. Corran said he wouldn't mind but he had to stay with his squadron.
When they entered the briefing room Luke notice all the Jedi. They would have nine total since they decided to have Cilghal come along.
Luke greeted the General and took the seat set aside for him. Cracken sat at on end with Luke at the other. Everyone else sat on either side of the table. Luke knew the general did this to show this was an equally joint operation.
"Good morning General, and good morning to everyone."
"Master Skywalker I would like to formally welcome you to the Mon Remonda."
"Thank you General."
"To begin with, maybe you should brief everyone on why we are heading to Musafar."
"Very well, for those who were not one my student at one time, I will explain an ability Jedi have.
Light side Jedi that know how, can maintain their consciousness after death and they have joined with the force. In doing so they have been able to interact with the living. They are what we call force ghost. Basically, the look like they did while alive but transparent with a blue aura around them."
"Excuse me Master Skywalker, I don't mean to interrupt but that is hard to believe." Captain Ubrus stated.
"That maybe Captain but it does not make it any less so. Just before I blew up the first Death Star I heard Ben Kanobie's voice telling me to trust in the force. I then again heard him on Hoth just before the battle. While training I had a vision that led me to try to save my friends. Ben appeared before me and spoke to me. After the battle of Endor I saw Master Yoda, Ben and my father. I know my father has spoken to my sister. Weather you believe me or not does not matter to me. I know what I have seen and heard."
"Captain, you may not believe Master Skywalker but I have known him since the days of the rebellion. He does not tell tales. Even if it's hard to believe I trust him and I suggest you do as well." stated General Cracken. Which ended that discussion. "Master Skywalker you may continue."
"Thank you General. At the beginning of my last trip I stopped by the planet I trained on with Master Yoda. While there Master Yoda appeared first. Then my father appeared. Most of what we talked about dealt with family matters, but he did tell me a little about Mustafar and encouraged me to visit it soon.
Besides Jedi artifacts he said there were other things there that needed to be dealt with. He also said that there could be others that if they got control of the fortress could be a threat.
On my return to Coruscant I spoke with General Cracken and asked for his help."
"Master Skywalker, how dangerous will this be?" asked Kapp Dendo, whose team Cracken added.
"Kapp I really don't know. As far as traps go, not very. The problem is we don't know if anyone has tried to move in or not."
"I have managed to find some information, including a floor plan of the fortress. There is a hanger bay that can hold our strike teams. Besides the hanger there only seems to be one main entrance. No secondary entrances. Not to say there are no secret ways in that are not on the plans" Cracken told the group.
"If we can gain control of the hanger and make sure that the main entrance is secure. Then we can make sure the rest of the place is secure. This should allow us to let the teams the General has to search and categorize the vaults and the rest of the fortress do so safely." Face Loran commented.
"The plan I have come up is that the Wraiths will go in first to gain entry to the Fortress. Once they do then Page and Kapp's commandos will follow. Kapp will hold the main entrance with two squads of infantry. Page and the Wraiths will head to the hanger and secure it. Once they do, then they will open it and the rest of us will head in. Master Skywalker, I would like Jedi to go with the three teams."
"I have already teams set up. Kirana Ti and Tyria will be with the Wraiths. Saba and Kyp will be with Kapp's team and Steen and Corran will be with Page's. Myself and Mara will be with you General and the main group. Cilghal will be with the medic teams. Once we are all down and start searching we can adjust from there."
"General, what of the Rogues. Will the rest of us be going in with you or staying with the fleet?" Wedge asked.
"We have two X-wing squadrons, an A-wing and B-wing squadron with the fleet. The Rogues will head planet side with us as our escort. You will remain and help keep the hanger secured along with a couple companies of infantry. You also will be on hand to provide air support incase we have any company on the ground. The other squadrons will remain with the fleet and help secure the area. I don't expect anything to happen in space but it's better to be safe."
Over the next few hours Cracken went over the plan while asking Luke his opinion. Between the two of them and with some input from Mara they came up with a good plan of action.
After the meeting, Luke met with all the Jedi. He told them that the place is filled with the Darkside and he did not any of them on their own. Cighal was the only on that did not have a partner since the medic teams would be with the main group.
Once he was finished he told the group that he did have 5 spare rooms on his ship if anyone wanted to stay there. Kirana Ti, Steen and Saba said they would join him and Mara on the ship. Cighal said she was going to stay were the medical teams stayed so it would give them time to get to know her and how she will be able to help. Kyp said he would stay on the cruiser.

Ashoka Tano was meditating in the meditation gardens at the Jedi compound on Lothal when she felt a strong presents. Opening her eyes she saw someone she never expected to see again.
"Hello Master."
"Hello Snipps."
"So what do I owe this visit for."
"My son is heading to Musafar with some of his Jedi and General Cracken. They are going to secure my old fortress and retrieve several Jedi artifacts."
"Why contact me."
"I want you to go. Ashoka, when they search the place they will find things from the old order. You as a member of that order should be there and don't say you are not a Jedi."
"I was not. Why me though, from what I know he has several Jedi that are more than capable."
"That is true, he does. This will also give you a chance to meet my son. I am sure he would love to hear some of the stories you or Rex could tell him of me and our adventures. You will also be able to see R2 again. He is with Luke now. C3-PO is with Leia."
"I would like to see R2 again and Rex and I could tell him stories. How will he react to hearing about me"
"Better then I did when we first met. This will also be a chance for your order to be able to build a bridge to Luke's order. Luke has built his like you and Ezra have built yours."
"So he does not follow the old code then."
"No he does not. He has Jedi that are married or in relationships. He does not take children from their homes. He does have some small children that do start training early. These are mostly those children who's parents are Jedi or those who have no home.
If he hears of a child with force potential he contacts the family and they work out how the child will be trained. It's always up to the family."
"I will need to speak with Ezra. I can not make this decision on my own."
"I would not ask you too. Speak with Ezra. He and Sabine might want to go also. If you do. Just let him know that I came to you like I did him when he was on Dagabah. He will know I sent you."
"OK Master, I will speak to the others. Master, what should we expect?"
"I don't know truth be told. I hope it is I left it but who can say. I do know that the vaults with Jedi artifacts should not have been opened. Only I knew how to access them and I told Luke how to, but it is possible that Palpatine new and made arrangements for others too know how to enter the vaults."
"How much time do we have?"
"Luke and Mara Jade are heading to Coruscant to meet up with Cracken now. They will be there in about a day. It will be another couple days after that before they leave. So you should have thee days. If you miss them then you will be able to catch up with them over Mustafar."
"Who is Mara Jade?"
"She is a friend of my son's. She used to work for Palpatine before his death as a force sensitive agent."
Ashoka looked at Anakin questionably. "It's their story to tell but I knew her back then. I never liked he back then but there is no one I trust to watch my sons back now."
"I feel there is more to this but will wait and see. If you trust her then I will as well."
"Good luck Ashoka."
"Thank you, Master." Anakin then faded away and Ashoka stood and headed to Ezra and Sabine's home.

Luke was on the bridge with General Cracken. They were about to be heading out after some supply shuttles had brought the last of the supplies and personal aboard. Luke decided to leave his ship docked with Mon Remonda during the trip. That way when they were ready to head down to the planet, they would not have to redock to load all personal that would travel down on The Twin Moons. Luke listens as last-minute instructions were given out when a communications officer call Luke.
"Master Skywalker, we have the Starbird, a Mandalorian ship requesting to speak to you."
Cracken had walked over to Luke. "I know the ship, though I'm surprised they are here."
"Who does it belong to?" asked Luke.
"Ezra Bridger, he was a commander in the rebellion till he disappeared at the end of the battle of Lothal. Because of his actions he freed his home planet from Thrawn and the Empire."
"I know who he is." seeing the look Cracken gave him. "Mon Mothma told me about him when I started to look for Jedi. I never sought him out because she said he deserved his peace."
"So you know about him and his abilities."
"Yes." turning towards the communications officer. "Patch Commander Bridger through."
They were both surprised when it wasn't Ezra but a female voice speaking. "Master Skywalker, I am Ashoka Tano. I was sent here to ask if I and my companions could join you to Mustafar."
Luke looked over at Cracken. Cracken nodded.
"I have no objections. Might I suggest you dock with the Mon Remonda and come aboard so we can meet. We will also need to discuss how you may help and who sent you."
"We can do that."
Luke looked over to Captain Ubrus who turned to a communications officer to have them send docking instructions.
"We just received docking instructions. We will be aboard in 10 minutes."
"Very well I will send someone to meet you and your companions."
Luke than called Mara and asked her to meet their new guest. He than turned to Cracken.
"Have you heard of her before?" asked Luke.
"Yes, she was with the rebellion. You did not meet her I believe but she was resorbable for a lot of our different cells during the beginning. It was the Lothal cell that sent the transmission out that help unite all the cells."
"I can't remember meeting her I have heard of Lothal. How is it I never heard of her?"
"I don't know how much you knew about what was going on in those days. But just before you arrived the Lothal cell freed Lothal. Took it away from Thrawn. Bridger is the reason he was not around for several years."
"Not much. I was real busy before Hoth, then after Hoth I was gone a while working on freeing Han and adjusting to the new hand.
We should probable head for the briefing room. Mara should have them in a few.
Luke and General Cracken we sitting in their seats when Mara lead an older looking Togruta, a Twi'lek that he knew was General Syndulla, a colorful Mandalorian, who was holding the hand of man with a lightsaber who he figured was Ezra Bridge. Then old looking man in old republic armor.
Mara went and took her seat next to Luke. Luke stood and indicated they could all sit. He notices the Mandalorian take her helmet off. Which showed her hair was just as colorful as her armor.
"Miss Tano, welcome to you and your companions. I am Master Skywalker of the New Jedi Order. You know General Cracken and you met Mara Jade."
"Thank you Master Skywalker. With me is Jedi Masters Ezra and Sabine Wern-Bridger, General Syndulla and Commander Rex.
"I know you have questions so I will help ease your mind by telling you how I have learned of your mission. While I was meditating your father came to me and told me of your mission and encouraged me to ask to join. He told me to tell you that the last time he talked with you was on Dagabah."
"It was. So, my father sent you. Sence you were able to see and talk with him, I am assuming you are a Jedi."
"I was your father's padawan till I left the old Jedi Order."
Luke just nodded. "I am sure there is much for us to speak about later. Master Bridger, it is nice to finally meet you."
Luke notice Sabine stiffens at that announcement. "I am surprised you know of me."
"Mon Mothma told me about you. I did not come looking for you because of the talk I had with Mon. She said you deserve your peace and I agreed. So I left it up to you to come see me if you wanted to."
"What made you think he would?" asked Sabine a little defensive.
"I had hoped he would one day."
Rex then introduces himself. "I'm Rex. I was a commander in the 501st under your father during the clone wars."
"A clone."
"Yes."
"Glad to have you."
"Thank you."
"General Syndulla, I know of you, but we were never introduced."
"Miss Tano, how would you like to be addressed?"
"Ashoka will do."
Luke and Cracken then went over the plan they had come up with. Ahsoka said if the Wraiths did not object, they would like to go in with them. Cracken agreed and asked if they would mind if the Wraith team went down with them. He said he could provide a backup pilot if their whole team was part of the assault.
Ahsoka said that would not be necessary as Hera would pilot them in and once, they were dropped off would take back off with Rex to provide air support.
When the meeting was over Luke asked Ahsoka if she would remain back with Ezra and Sabine. They all agreed. Everyone else left except Mara.
"Thank you all for staying. I asked you to stay for a couple reasons. The first was what did you know of what became of my father?"
"Yes, I knew. I learned of it after we met up with him once. He had said something that had me look into who Vader was. Everyone of our team knows."
Luke nodded. "I would ask that it not get out. Only a few in the New Republic government know. I don't care and it does not affect me, but there are those who would use the information to hurt my sister Leia."
"We will not sat anything. You said your sister was Leia." Ezra asked.
"Yes Leia Organa Solo. I found out just before Endor. Master Yoda told me I had a sister just before he died and Obi-Wan confirmed it. He spoke to me like my father spoke to you."
"We all have met Leia. She helped Phoenix squadron gain some more ships." Ezra added.
"I was not aware she knew you all."
"Yes, is she still as bossy as she was back then?" Sabine asked.
"Unfortunaly yes. The second thing is something that I have been working toward and only a few in my order know of. I am working to make the Jedi independant of the New Republic or any goverment.
I feel that the closeness the old order had with the old Republic helped bring the old Jedi Order down. Also if we are independant then I feel we can do more. I don't want us to be a fighting force or a tool the Repubic can use as they see fit."
"I can see where you are coming from. You may be right on one of the reasons the old order fell. If the old Jedi had not been used as Generals and troop commander then it would have not been as easy to wipe them out.
How are you planning this and what does that have to do with our group?"
"In the old days there were the Jedi that were led by the Jedi counsel on Coruscant, but there was a separate order based out of Corillian. They were not part of the Coruscant Jedi and had their own rules and had their own area they stayed. Though from what I know. Some of the Corillian Jedi did fight in the Clone Wars.
My hope is the have a open communications between our two orders. I'm not looking to integrate you into mine."
"So, we would be like the Corillian Jedi and you the Coruscant Jedi."
"In a since. My understanding from my talks with Mon is that your primary stay around the Lothal sector but have been known to operate around Mandalorian space."
"That is true. Where will your order be heaquarters out of?"
"Our main location as of now is Yavin 4. We were given Yavin 4 by the New Republic. It's where we have our acadamy. As of right now I am planning us stay there but I want to set up traing camps on differant planets with differant enviremental conditions."
Ezra decided to speak up. "I think once you have been able to do as you plan we can see how we can work together. Till then I don't see why we can't keep an open communications between the two groups."
"Agreed."
"Do you have anything else for us or any questions?"
"No, thank you for hearing me out. I look forward to being able to speak to you all more. I need to be getting back to the bridge. We will be departing in about another hour."
"Till then Master Skywalker."
Everyone said their fare wells. Luke headed to the bridge while Mara headed back to their ship.
