After being cleared of any vigilante crimes, due to his Quirk just awakening and the woman he saved singing his praises, Tenshiro adjusted to his new life quickly: While doors were often a problem for him, his marks in gym skyrocketed and his popularity grew, with many wanting to take selfies of him and inviting him to join sports teams.

Despite it all and his own happiness of being in his own skin and accepted (he;d heard horror stories of other mutation types being discriminated), Tenshiro had a definitive circle of friends in Izuku and Izumi's budding group; they applauded him for his kind and gentle heart with Katsuki and Izuku sparring with him in order to control his newfound strength so that he never hurt an innocent.

Yes, for a hulking giant, Tenshiro was actually a very soft and friendly boy; preferring to paint, garden and help his best friend Zeisho at the daycare his parents operated.

"Tell me again why we're doing this..." Hitoshi groaned a few days later as he wiped away sweat from his brow.

He was told to try being more physical if he wanted to pursue his dreams of being a Hero and that's why he accepted his friends' invitation to go camping. He'd never gone camping before but since it's just the woods behind Katsuki's house, he'd be close enough to civilization if he decided to chicken out.

Unfortunately, Hitoshi underestimated how much land the Bakugous owned. As it turns out, the fashion industry pays very well and they'd been walking for close to an hour to get to their "perfect spot," as Izuku, Izumi, and Katsuki called it. When he asked how their parents were ok with a bunch of 13-year-olds camping on their own so far away, they reminded him that Quirk use was legal on private property and their parents trusted they could handle themselves.

"I don't get…why I…have to carry…so much," Hitoshi panted, lugging his pack.

"Cause you're the one who needs the exercise, Stringbean," Katsuki said.

Hitoshi was prepared to make a snide retort at the explosive blonde, only to lose his footing and fall forward, his pack pinning him down. Izuku and Izumi ran over to help him while Katsuki, Gani, and Isamu laughed at him.

"You okay Hichan?"

"Peachy." The brainwasher said, weakly raising a thumb up.

After Izuku lifted the pack off his back like it weighed nothing, Hitoshi lifted his head and tumbled backward when he saw what he almost landed on.

"Ooooh, a dead squirrel." Chi winced. "What is that? The fifth one this week?"

Izumi frowned. "I'm starting to think this isn't one of your neighbors' cats, guys. Think we should set a trap?"

"I can just bring up my own personal security force," Renji said.

With a casual wave of his hand, Renji conjured a murky darkness from the ground. Crawling out of it were gremlin-like creatures with large pointed ears, large yellow cat-like eyes that glowed slightly in the dark, wide mouths with sharp cat-like canines, short flat noses, bald flat heads, hunched backs, long arms, bowed legs and four clawed digits on their hands and feet.

This was due to Renji's Quirk,[Minion Master], which allowed him to summon gremlins from a shadowy mass he could conjure. The minions came in five different colors, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.

Green minions were the weakest in combat. However, they were skilled in making and using various types of tools, machinery, and ranged weaponry.

Brown minions were the strongest and toughest of the minions in terms of physical strength. They could also wield heavier equipment than any of the other minions and were useful for tasks that required heavy lifting or brute strength.

Red minions were, to put it simply, living flame throwers as they could breathe out fire from their mouths and even spit out explosive fireballs. They were also immune to fire and were surprisingly skilled in tasks that required an open flame such as blacksmithing and cooking.

Blue minions were highly resistant to cold temperatures. They also possessed the unique ability to heal others and boost the abilities of fellow minions by transferring their own energy into the bodies of their recipients. It should be noted that transferring their own energy into the bodies of others would exhaust them.

Lastly, grey minions served as the rogues or assassins among the minions. They were swift, agile, and stealthy. They could also transform into ethereal flames which did not burn but allowed them to slip through gaps in barriers, traverse over water, and avoid attacks.

"Honestly, I don't think this is the work of a cat, guys," Takaryo said. "And nobody point any fingers at me."

"How can you tell?" Zeisho asked.

"I've seen quite a few cats mangle smaller critters. Heck, I know a few cats who have given them to me as presents." Takaryo explained. "In my experience, cats don't cut their prey down the middle like that."

Looking closer, the others saw what their monstrous friend meant. It looked like someone sliced the squirrel open with a knife. Not wanting to think about this, Hitoshi shook his head.

"Whatever, it's probably just some other animal." He then turned to Izuku. "Hey, Greenie?"

"Yea-" Izuku's eyes suddenly glazed over and his face turned blank.

"Carry me and my pack," Hitoshi ordered. As Izuku obediently complied, the others looked on with an unimpressed expression.

"Back then, Izuku had to beg Hichan on his hands and knees to use his Quirk on him. Now he's just using it on him any chance he gets." Izumi sighed. "I WILL be telling Nii-chan about this!"

"And you honestly think he'll care as long as he helped me?"

"….Fair point."

After finally finding the perfect spot, everyone set up their tents followed by Hitoshi being put through the wringer by Katsuki and Isamu in a makeshift sparring ring while Izuku, Takaryo, Zeisho, and Reiji went to get firewood.

After sparring was done, Izumi used her Quirk to light a campfire while Katsuki dug into the cooler and pulled out a package of hotdogs.

"Ah, camping with friends. A time to really RELISH." Gani grinned as he took a hotdog and began cooking it.

Tenshiro made a sign to tell everyone he was going to get water for everyone before grabbing a large filtration tank and heading for the stream as his friends started cooking their hotdogs.

As he was filling up the tank, he jumped when he heard a loud squeaky noise. Running across the river to investigate, he soon found a dead rabbit bleeding out the neck. Upon further inspection of the fresh wound, Tenshiro was sure it was caused by a blade.

Not spotting any sign of the culprit, he cautiously returned to collecting his water while contemplating his next move. However, had he looked up, he would have noticed a girl with shoulder-length blonde hair and yellow, cat-like eyes looking down at him from near the top of a tree...

Later that night, long after the kids had extinguished the fire, the girl who had been spying on Tenshiro found herself sneaking into their camp. As she heard them snoring, she slowly unzipped the tent. However, once it was unzipped enough to peek inside, she was blinded by a flashlight and the snoring abruptly stopped. Jumping back and brandishing the box cutter, she tried to blink the spots from her eyes.

"You got five seconds to tell us why you tried to stab us in our sleep."

However, instead of answering, she leaped in the voice's general direction and began slashing at the air with her weapon. While she was fast, her arm was eventually grabbed, her wrist twisted to make her drop her weapon, and she found herself being thrown and pinned onto the ground. She tried to escape, squirming and thrashing but to no avail.

"Good job, Hichan!"

She looked up to see her multiple kids staring down at her and craned her neck back to see the purple-haired boy who was pinning her down.

"Who are you?"

"And why the hell are you killing animals in my backyard," Katsuki angrily asked.

"I needed somewhere far away to feed without them finding out," the girl said, still struggling and ignoring the first question. "I'm sorry! I didn't know anyone owned these woods!"

"Who is 'them' and why would they be upset about you eating?" Izumi asked, having a feeling she knew the answer.

The girl frantically shook her head, tears in her eyes. She couldn't tell them. They wouldn't believe her.

"Hey," Chi quietly said, making her look up at him. He was looking at her with a kind, understanding smile. "It's ok. You don't have to be afraid. Is it because of your Quirk?"

After a few seconds, the girl nodded.

"I…I need blood."

"And your parents won't let you have any?" Hitoshi asked.

"I-it's not normal to want blood. Bu-but if I don't get any, my head starts to hurt and-and I hear things and think about things I don't wanna and-"

Suddenly, her mind fogged over and Hitoshi was off her back.

"Go to sleep."

She was out like a light.

After alerting their parents to the situation, Hisashi got into contact with Naomasa to tell him about what was going on as the Chief Detective arrived at the hospital. Right now, the Midoriyas were waiting outside the girl's room for her to wake up on her own.

"Her name is Himiko Toga," Naomasa said, handing a file to Hisashi. "14 years old and only child to a well-respected family. Officially her Quirk is classified as a minor cat mutation. While the doctors say she shows some signs of minor malnutrition, there's no mention anywhere about any special dietary requirements."

"So, she's either lying…" Inko started.

"Or her parents are." Hisashi finished, a scowl on his face

"It could also be psychological. Using a Quirk as an excuse for violent urges isn't uncommon." Naomasa pointed out.

Inko sighed. "Well, we won't know for sure until she wakes up. Did our kids' statements clear up?"

Naomasa nodded. "Yep, they're all in the clear. Shinso used his Quirk with prior permission from the Bakugous and the rest backed up the story that he only used it to calm Toga down. However, you should probably have a talk with them about handling these kinds of situations on their own."

"Sorry, but once they smell something wrong, those kids won't stop meddling in places that don't concern them." Hisashi chuckled.

"Naomasa...is it alright if I'm with you when the girl wakes up?" Inko asked worriedly as the detective nodded.

"Of course, Inko. I'm sure your natural maternal charm will win her over."

It was a half-hour later when Toga finally woke up. While Naomasa would normally have to wait for her parents to question her, Izuku and his friends' statements about her behavior gave him reasonable suspicion about the girl's living situation. He inched his chair closer to her bed and got out his notebook and pen, Inko sitting on the other side with a worried look on her face.

"Hello, sweetie. Are you okay?" Inko asked gently as the girl's eyes fluttered open.

"Huh? Who're…w-where-," she groggily began but stopped as she started to realize this wasn't her bedroom. Her eyes suddenly widened in panic as she tightly gripped her sheets and Naomasa put up his hands in a placating manner.

"It's alright, you're ok. Nobody's going to hurt you. My name is Detective Tsukauchi and this is Inko Midoriya. I just want to ask you some questions about tonight, ok?"

Toga timidly nodded, eyes narrowed as she examined her sheets.

"Before we begin, I'm legally required to inform you that my quirk is called "Lie Detector," meaning I can tell when someone's lying."

This made her eyes shoot up. "Y-you mean…as long as I tell you the truth, you'll believe me?"

"As long as it's the truth," Naomasa nodded with a friendly smile. He saw the girl start to tear up, Inko quickly handed her tissues. "Let's begin with an easy question. What is your Quirk?"

Himiko looked away. "...m-my parents said to s-say I have a cat mutation."

[TRUE]

"And is that all your Quirk is? The eyes and fangs?"

"Y-Yes?"

[FALSE]

Naomasa slightly twitched at that and looked up at her. She was watching him intensely, likely testing to see if his Quirk really could pick up lies.

"Why did your parents want you to lie about your Quirk?"

"B-because my Quirk makes me a m-monster. My parents wanted a "normal" child with a "normal" Quirk."

[TRUE]

"Does your real Quirk involve consuming blood?" Naomasa asked as Inko gently took Toga's hand in her own.

"When I drink someone's blood, I-I can b-become them. I-I-I found out about it when my cousin got a p-paper cut. I-it just looked so p-pretty and yummy and before I could stop myself, I was sucking on his finger until someone had to pull me off. I-I noticed my hands looked different and ran to a mirror to see his face m-melting off of me."

"Melting?"

"When my Quirk wears off, the skin, clothes, everything that made me look like someone else turns into gray sludge. I-it's kinda gross and so not cute."

[TRUE]

"The kids said you told them you needed blood or you suffer from headaches, correct?"

"Yes."

[TRUE]

"Do your parents know this?"

Himiko scoffed. "They wouldn't believe me. Some quack told them it was just "psychological" and they couldn't take me to a Quirk specialist because that would reveal my real Quirk."

[TRUE]

Naomasa was gripping his notebook a little tighter. Did these people really value their reputation as a "normal" family over their daughter's mental and physical health? This poor girl and the rest of society were lucky the kids encountered her before she had a complete mental breakdown.

But as angry as the detective was? What he felt was NOTHING compared to Inko, even if you couldn't see it on her face: The normally sweet and docile woman rarely, if ever, lost her cool, but what she was hearing was more than enough to make up for any lack of such in her life. As a proud and loving mother, the actions of the Toga parents baffled and enraged her: Not believing their child over some doctor? Making the poor girl hide her quirk? DENYING SOMETHING THAT SEEMED CRITICAL TO HER HEALTH JUST SO THAT THEIR SOCIAL STANDING WOULD BE UNCHANGED?

No. No, no, no, no, no. These…these creatures Himiko was talking about? They were not parents. Parents worked with and for their children. Parents did not care how others thought of them so long as their children were safe, happy and healthy.

"Please don't make me go back with them..." Himiko said, almost pleadingly.

Instantly, Inko's rage vanished, replaced only with one thought; comfort the girl.

"Himiko? Sweetie? We can assure you that we will do our best to make sure you will never have to live with those ANIMALS ever again." Inko reassured her.

Naomasa nodded. "Something tells me Hisashi will have a goddamn FIELD DAY with what we've been told."

"If there's ONE thing he hates most of all," Inko added. "It's those who would abuse their children for whatever inane reason."

After a few more questions and some juice, Naomasa and Inko left the room to let Himiko get back to sleep.

When Hisashi heard everything?

The kids and police all backed away from him; steaming smoke erupted from huis mouth and he breathed in and out, trying in vain to calm himself. He quickly glanced over to the kids and cooled down once he spied the worried looks of his children. Snapping his fingers, the lawyer waited for several police officers and hospital staff to draw cigerretes, which he lit up with a long stream of fire breath before making a solemn vow:

"I am going to destroy them."

Naomasa suddenly felt his phone rang, which he swiftly answered without missing a beat.

"Detective Tsukauchi."

"The Togas are here. You said not to let them see their daughter until you spoke to them."

"Thank you, Sansa. I'll be right there. Let the younger siblings in but keep the parents for questioning." Tsukauchi then ended the call and cleared his throat. "Mr. and Mrs. Midoriya? If you'd join me?"

They followed. Hisashi scowled as smoke escaping from his mouth again as he adjusted his tie while Inko's eyes emitted a faint ethereal green glow. After everything Himiko told them, they were going to make sure they kept their promise.

"…Is it wrong for me to say that Auntie and Uncle are fucking terrifying when they get mad?" Katsuki finally ended the silence by asking that question.

"Beware the anger of gentle souls." Kuro managed, Yami wordlessly nodding in agreement as two small children, blondes no older than six, a boy and a girl, raced into Himiko's room.

"Really officer, this is ridiculous"

"She's our daughter, we can handle her."

Just two sentences out of their mouths told the arriving trio all they needed to know: Wealthy, paranoid about the dumbest things and not seeing their children as people, but…possessions or pets.

These were the Togas, who were annoyed at being kept from Himiko, while their two youngest had been allowed, nay, encouraged to see their big sister.

"We understand you need details, buit would you really deny a mother the chance to see her…?"

"Mother is the name of God on the lips of all children." Inko growled, getting their attention. "And you are no mother. Nor you a father…sir."

"And…you are?"

Hisashi stepped forward and flashed a business card, his face stone cold and his words dripping with venom.

"Hisashi Midoriya. Attorney at law and father of two of the kids who saved Himiko. I'd say it's a pleasure to meet you but that would be a bold faced lie and I pride myself on honesty."

The Togas were taken aback by the hostility of the couple and looked to the officer.

"Himiko has told us everything." Tsukauichi bluntly explained. "The lying about her quirk, your obsession with normality in an age where superpowers are common…the refusal to get or even try treatment for her condition."

The Toga parents, to their credit, didn't react with fear right away; instead, they wrote three sizeable cheques…which Hisashi burnt to ash the second he saw them.

"What kind of people are you?" He asked. "Seriously. She is your daughter."

"She's a blood obessed freak! If your children…!"

"Our son can take, give and even upgrade Quirks." Inko cut in, shocking the Togas…for a second.

"Ah, that explains the sympathy: your son is a villain in the ma…AAAAH!"

"Darling, what…AAAAH!"

The two blondes found their teeth and…ahem, ahem…suddenly moving upwards and being pulled as Inko focused on these two…creatures, unleashing her Quirk in a fit of rage. Izuku had upgraded Attraction long ago, but this was the first time the mother used it.

She then released them, her anger still their but fading as her husband took her into a hug.

"O-Officer! Arrest her! Illegal Quirk usage!" The Togas snapped, but the police instead helped them to their feet and..cuffed them?!

"You two are under arrest for child neglect, child abuse, fraudulent documentation and attempting to bribe an officer."

"When we're done...you two MONSTERS won't have anything left to your name." Inko hissed out with pure venom in her voice.

"See you in court," Hisashi said with a malicious grin that filled the Togas with pure DREAD.

The very next day, Mr. and Mrs. Toga found themselves in court. What followed for them could barely even be considered a trial; not only did Himiko repeat what she'd al;ready shared with Inko, with another lie detecting Quirk user confirming all she said. Her younger brother and sister, Chara and Frisk, were also called to the stand

"Mama and Papa refuse to let nee-san have blood." Chara explained. "They say its not proper, but without it, nee-chan gets headaches and acts scary…"

"We try to sneak her some." Frisk added, losing her will when she saw her parents glaring at her.

"You little…!"

That was as far as the parents got, as the judge clanged for silence and gently motoioned the twins to leave as Hisashi began his work.

"Permission to treat the accused as hostile should they act up?" He asked before he stared.

"Granted."

The Togas didn't even let Hisashi ask a question, immediately 'explaining' how Himiko's obsession with blood reflected poorly on them and how their doctor had assured them that her going cold turkety would knock it out; even if she did hurt someone, they could bribe someone. They even blamed her siblings and the Midoriya for blowing the whole thing out of proportion.

"Why did you not consider blood bank packets?" Hisashi cut them off.

"…B-beg pardon?" The Togas asked.

"Blood. Bank. Packets." Hisashi growled, while also making it clear he considered the two adulkts in front of him morons. "They can be purchased cheaply and on the sly, in a variety of types so as to prevent donations from going to waste. They resemble juice packets and are labelled as medicine, so no child will ever ask for a sip. Vlad King, a well respected and established hero whose Quirk is BASED ENTIRELY AROUND BLOOD MANIPULATION…!"

He purposefully yelled that bit, unprofessional as it was.

"….Often has multiple ones on hand. And as stated before, they are discret. So again I ask…why? Didn't, You?"

The Togas began to stumble over themselves., the one clear thing was that if on the off chance the news got out, their social standing….

"I've heard enough." The judge announced, clamering for silence. "Mr. Midoriya, please take your seat."

Hisashi did as he was ordered.

"Never in all my years have I seen such a more obvious personification of 'not everyone deserves to be a parent.' Mr. and Mrs. Toga, I'm giving you the full sentencing: Life in prison, on top of paying for your children's education and futures. They shall be placed into foster care together, but everything else to your names will go to them."

Needless to say, two upper class twits obessed with their standing and failing to see how they had failed as parents did not take this well, screaming and begging for mercy while decrying Himiko for 'corrupting' Chara and Frisk…

POW!

CRASH!

…Until Hisashi punched them straight in the jaw.

"I WAS given permission top treat you as hostile." He smirked, then recomposed himself. "Now if you'll excuse me? I'm going to take Himiko, Chara and Frisk to someone I know will help them in ways you never could…then go home, hug my children, tell them how proud of them I am of them…and make sweet, sweet love to my goddess of a wife. And yes; you journalistic glory hounds can quote me on that."

Unknown to most, present at the trial was a member of the MLA; Curious. The newscastrer smirked as she watched the screaming disgraces for parents being dragged off, relishing in their tears of despair as she snapped a few private photos to post as the head articles. She then made a quick call to her boss to let him know.

"Do you want me to bring them to you, sir?"

"Yes...I have a few CHOICE WORDS I'd like to say to those two ABOMINATIONS for what they've done to that poor girl...and how they have spat in the very face of Destro's ideals."Rikiya's voice was heard growling on the other end.

Curious giggled as she hung up. It seemed that not too soon after she posted the story, the Togas would soon be found in the obituaries...

Knightmare Lord A/N:

Himiko was dealt a shitty hand in canon. Me and Mrotrax have made it our mission to ensure she gets a happier ending. A chance to go down the right path and use her powers for good instead of evil with an actual loving family and friends by her side.

Hope you enjoyed what we did to the Togas here. I know I certainly did. And trust us...we want to make sure Re-Destro's plans for them are shown in full.

Anything you'd like to add, Mrotrax?

Mrotax A/N:

I'mma say this much: Re-Destro and the Togas? It's ain't going to be pretty! We're going 'SIN CITY/THE BOYS' on their asses!

Next chapter will be a bit of a timeskip, and introduce a certain great hero and his successor.
