= CHAPTER 3 =
= EMBER'S WARNING AND ESCAPE FROM AMITY PARK =
At the Amity Park police Station, Danny was sitting in police lieutenant Edward Trexler's office, still being in a somewhat shock after having barely escaped death with Ember having apparently saved him from a cyborg from the future called a Terminator. Not only that, but Ember too claims to have come from the future, telling him that she has been send to protect him as in the future he's the father of the leader of the world wide resistance against the machines lead by SkyNet.
All of this was so much to take in for Danny. Though his mind would think that Ember is just completely crazy and should be locked away in a mental hospital, but in his heart he was doubting that maybe Ember is telling the truth in her words.
Right now, Danny didn't know anymore what to believe.
That was when the door opened wide, revealing Jazz with a look of extreme worry.
"Danny!" Jazz yells and rushes over to him and hugs him like never before "Oh, thank God you're alright!" tears fell from her eyes. Then she checks on him "Are you hurt? Were you shot?!"
Danny shook his head, assuring his big sister, "I'm okay, Jazz… I'm fine. Really."
The two police lieutenants, Edward Trexler and Hal then entered together with another man, being the criminal psychologist and Jazz's internship supervisor, Dr. Silberman.
"How are you doing, Danny?" Ed asks as he offers Danny a cup of water.
Danny takes the cup of water and gave a shrug "I've been better…"
Ed nods before Jazz introduces her internship supervisor to her little brother, "Danny, you've met Dr. Silberman?"
Danny looks at him, with the psychologist giving him a smile "Hi, Daniel."
Then suddenly, Sam and Tucker rush into the office, looking in a state of shock but then relieved to see their best friend alive and unharmed.
"Danny!" both said before going over to him, with Sam hugging him.
"We came as soon as we'd heard what happened at the movie theatre." Tucker states, still not believing that Danny had survived a shootout and was kidnapped by the mysterious girl named Ember "Jesus Christ, dude…! We both were fearing the worst."
"I knew that bitch was up to something!" Sam says with an angry face before she asks Dr. Silberman "You're a doctor, right?"
Silberman gave a nod and says while he yawns "Criminal psychologist."
"That bitch that took Danny is completely crazy! She should be locked away in a mental hospital!"
Silberman gave a shrug as he took out a pen "Well, that's what we're going to find out."
"Sam!" Danny almost yells "Ember saved my life…!" that earned everyone's attention "She saved me from that muscled maniac!"
"Muscled maniac?" Tucker asks, "I didn't know that there was a second shooter?"
But then Sam says, "That doesn't matter! What matters is that crazy bitch kidnapped you and could've killed you a thousand different ways!"
Edward then told Danny, ignoring Sam, "Now, Danny I want you to tell your sister and Dr. Silberman everything that Ember told you. Do you think you can do that?"
Danny looks for a moment at his sister, who gives him an ensuring smile. He then nods "Yeah… I think so."
Hal then escorted Sam and Tucker out of the office, allowing Danny to tell Jazz and Silberman everything that has happened and what Ember told him.
Meanwhile, back at the local motel room
The Terminator climbs through a window into an empty motel room, carrying all his guns and rifles and puts them on the bed. When turning on the light, it shows its left eye had been damaged had been bleeding.
As the Terminator took a seat at a desk, it shoves up the left sleeve of its jacket, revealing a deep bleeding wound. According to the Terminator's systems, some controls in its left arm had been damaged in the car crash and needed repairs.
Taking a scalpel that was in a drawer of the desk, it cut open the living tissue of its left arm and using clippers to keep it open, revealing its robotic arm inside the created flesh and blood. Scanning for any malfunctions, the Terminator used several tools to repair the damage.
Not long after, back at the Amity Park Police Station
After Danny had told Dr. Silberman and Jazz everything, with him being saved from a Terminator robot by Ember and her claiming to be from the future to protect Danny from the killer cyborg, even mentioning Ember's story that he's the father of the leader of the world wide resistance against a powerful AI-computer that in less than a few decades would destroy the world in a nuclear war, nearly all of mankind and the future war against the machines.
Jazz, while walking down the hallway with Dr. Silberman, shook her head while going through the notes she'd written down while Danny told them everything.
"This isn't like anything I'd ever heard of, doctor," Jazz says, "I mean… A killer robot from the future? A nuclear apocalypse that a supercomputer is going to unleash and that this girl named Ember was send to protect Danny from this… Terminator?"
Dr. Silberman gave a shrug "Well, best to ask this girl yourself and see if she is truly mental. But by the looks of it… this already sounds really far from being believable."
Jazz looks at him surprised when reaching interrogation room 6 "What? You want me to… do the interrogation?"
Silberman gave her an ensuring smile "Jazz, you have been through dozens of different kinds of interviews with me to study the psychology of the criminal mind and every time you proved yourself worthy." As he opens the door, he adds, "Just see this as an… extra assignment. I know you can do it."
Gathering some courage, Jazz nods "Okay… I'll try." She then goes in.
In the interrogation room, Ember, now without wearing her long black jacket, sat in a chair while her wrists were still tight in handcuffs at her back.
"Hi there," Jazz said with a small smile "Having a rough night, huh?" she says while another cop comes in with her to keep an eye on Ember so she won't do anything to escape or harm Jazz.
As Ember looks at her, she looks at first surprised before she forms a small smile "Hello, Jazz."
When she told her name, Jazz was very surprised that she knew her name. But as she looks down at her ID tied to her belt, showing her name and picture, Jazz chuckles "Yep. That's my name." she then sits down and starts, "Well, since you already know my name, is guess introducing myself won't be necessary."
Ember shrugs "How should I? We've been knowing each other for more than a decade."
Jazz didn't expected that to hear, but eager to hear more from her, she writes down on her notebook "Riiight… And how am I supposed to know you if you and I have never met before?"
Ember rolls her eyes "Not in this time… but we'll meet eventually in the future where I come from."
Thinking that she's starting to get somewhere, she then makes up a small joke and suggests, "Well, why don't we do that a little early and introduce each other now?" she then was about to write down "You already know my name. And your full name is…?"
"My name is Ember McLain. 1st lieutenant of the Liberty Brigade. DN38477. I was assigned to protect Danny Fenton as he is targeted for termination." Ember said.
"Mhmm…" Jazz nods while she still wrote on her notebook "And what did Danny actually do to deserve to be targeted for something he didn't do?"
Ember shook her head "Not for something in the past but for what he'll be doing in the coming years. He's the father of Danielle Fenton, leader of the world wide resistance against SkyNet. It's very important that he lives."
"Mhmm…" Jazz hums again while writing it all down "What exactly is SkyNet? That doesn't sound like the kind of programming I'm familiar with."
Ember got annoyed "Ugh…! It's a powerful AI-computer. A defense network designed and built for SAC-NORAD by Cyberdyne Systems."
"Oookay…" Jazz was a bit baffled before she then asks "And… you are a soldier, fighting against it?"
"Yes. With the 22nd under Colonel Thumber of the Great-Lakes Defense Force. From '46 to '49."
Jazz raises an eyebrow at her "That's the year… 2049?"
Ember nods "That's right. In the last few days my unit was placed under Danielle Fenton's command for the final operation to destroy SkyNet's central core."
In another room behind, Silberman, Edward and Hal were watching from a see-through mirror.
Hal had to chuckle after hearing this tale from Ember "This is fucking great."
"I see…" Jazz says while writing it all down on her notebook before she asks Ember, "And this… AI-computer thinks it can win by killing the father of its enemy. Killing her, in effect, before she's even conceived?"
"That's right." Ember says while she nods "That's the reason I was send to protect him. The future of mankind depends on his survival!" she yells.
"Okay, okay, I understand that," Jazz says trying to calm her down before she asks "But why wouldn't this SkyNet just kill Danielle Fenton then? Why all of this effort with this Terminator?"
Ember shook her head "It had no choice. In the Resistance's final attack its entire defense gridd was smashed. We'd won. Killing Danielle Fenton then wouldn't make any difference. SkyNet had to make sure to wipe out her entire existence."
"Then how exactly was it possible you got send here to the past?" Jazz wanders.
Remembering that this isn't the same Jazz from her time and didn't know anything yet about SkyNet or the threat of the future war with the machines, Ember sighs and began to tell Jazz everything. "After news reached us that our teams had destroyed SkyNet's Central Core and the other Cores around the world, me and Danielle Fenton found SkyNet's most deadly weapon. It was a giant Time Displacement Equipment. The Terminator had already gone through. I volunteered to intercept it and they would blow the whole place up."
"Blow it up?" Jazz asks in surprise "But then… how are you supposed to get back?"
Ember shook her head, showing a sad face "I can't… Nobody goes home. Nobody else comes through…" she then shows Jazz a very determined face, scared by war "It's just him and me."
They way that Ember was looking at her made Jazz somehow uncomfortable, as if she could see her whole past through her eyes, all the pain, suffering and PTSD she had to go through. But seeing this might be important to learn more about Ember, Jazz returned her focus by writing her observations down and then decides to take a different approach.
"Okay, uhm…" Jazz tried to think of something "If you really are from the future and you have met me then, then… why don't you tell me more about myself? What will I turn out in this dark future of yours?" she asks with a smile.
Ember shook her head "If I'd tell you, you wouldn't like it."
Jazz shrugs, showing a bit of eagerness in order to gain her trust "Really? Well, enlighten me."
Ember chuckles "Alright. You're old, using a walking cane made out of Terminator parts and you're also blind."
Jazz raises an eyebrow at her "Really? Then how do I turn out blind in your future?"
"Your eyes were fried cause of a nuclear explosion and never regained your eyesight ever since."
"I see…" Jazz wrote this down "A nuclear explosion. And how is that even possible?"
"Believe me," Ember says with an angry look on her face "On August 29th, 2017, you'll fucking see. Everything around you, this city, this whole place will be gone. All of it. But you will never see it, as the last thing you'll ever see is the bright light from 50 megaton nuclear blast!"
Behind the see-through glass, Hall chuckles after hearing Ember's story about the end of the world "Can you believe this shit? Thinking that in 13 years we're all toasted in nuclear fire? That student of yours really cracks me up, Silberman," he tells Dr. Silberman "Like last week when you had this guy that nearly burned his Afghan-"
"Hall, shut up." Edward says as he wants to listen to the interrogation.
"Riiight…" Jazz says while writing Ember's story down "The world's going to end in 2017."
Ember scoffed her "Yeah, you're exactly like your future-self told me how you are in this time."
"And… what did my future-self tell you?"
"That you're a calculated girl, meaning you're starting to freak out whenever you realize that that your calculations are wrong and that only a good shack can help that."
That took Jazz by surprise and stops writing, but then thinks that Ember is probably using a psychological trick on her and asks, "And how do you know that part?"
Ember annoyingly rolls her eyes "Your future-self told me that! Du-uh!"
Jazz, without writing anything down, asks her with a bit of interest, "Then what else do you know about me?"
Ember shrugs "That your folks, named Jack and Maddie Fenton are ghost chasers, being obsessed that ghosts exist and built all these kind of weird inventions to study them, while they're not really there."
Jazz chuckles and starts writing again, thinking that Ember had only managed to find that out as everyone in Amity Park knows what her parents are doing and are crazy scientists believing in ghosts "Sure you've heard that from my future-self. Anyone in Amity Park knows that or when searching about my family on the internet."
Ember became frustrated, seeing that the younger version of Jazz really doesn't fully believe her. But when remembering something that Jazz once told her, and says, "I know also something about you that you've never ever told anyone else."
Jazz raises an eyebrow at her while forming an amusing smile "You know a secret of mine? Interesting. Then what's my secret, may I ask?" she asks while keeping writing on her notebook.
"That you ran away from home when you were 7 years old."
That took Jazz by surprise and stops writing. She looks at her before thinking that Ember might have hacked the police files from her past and asks with an amusing grin on her face "That's the secret you know about me? Interesting."
"I know you ran away because you couldn't stop your parents from believing in ghosts, but when they used an invention on you, thinking that you were possessed by a ghost, all that invention did was ruining your hair."
"Mhmm." Jazz says while showing some uninterested and closes her notebook before raising from her chair "I think I've heard enough."
But Ember kept telling what she knows about her "You decided, in all your sadness, you didn't wanted to live with them anymore. So you packed your things, hoping to catch a bus to your uncle who lives in Wisconsin."
Jazz shook her head as that was clearly also in the police report when she ran away from home 11 years ago "Of course you know that. It's all on the old police report from back then." and went to the door that the officer opened for her "We're done here."
But Ember calls her back and says, "But you never managed to get on the bus to Wisconsin so you took the help from a total stranger named… Bob Polaris!"
When hearing that name, Jazz immediately froze right when she was just about to leave the interrogation room.
"But that guy never had any intention to give you a ride to Wisconsin! He had other plans with you… when he started to touch you on places an older guy never should on a little girl! When you took your chance before Bob could continue, you escaped out of his car before the police found you the next morning. Feeling so disgusted and humiliated… you decided to never tell anyone else what really happened to you that night. Not even to your own family."
Jazz slowly turns herself and looks at Ember in total shock "How… How do you know all that?!"
"Because you told me everything. 40 years from now on." Ember said, telling nothing but the truth.
Jazz then snaps and grabs her by the collar "WHO ARE YOU?! HOW DO YOU KNOW ALL OF THIS?!"
The officer, first shocked that Jazz lunged at the suspect, grabs Jazz and pulls her away from Ember.
Hal and Edward quickly went in and took Jazz with them, "Jasmine, please, calm down!"
But Jazz keeps yelling at Ember, demanding answers while trying to get out of their grip "HOW DO YOU KNOW?! HOW DO YOU KNOOOOW?!"
In another room, Silberman tried to calm Jazz down "Jasmine, Jasmine!"
Jazz began to sob while she was shacking and shook her head "How…?! How did she…?"
Silberman then sighs, thinking that Jazz needs a minute to calm down and tells Edward and Hall "I think it's maybe better that I take it from here."
Edward nods at the psychiatrist "Sure, doc."
After Silberman had gone into the interrogation room, Hall then asks Jazz, "Jazz… is it true what that girl told you? That you've been… molested?"
But Edward interrupted his partner "Hall, not now."
An hour later, back with the Terminator
The killer cyborg, after managing to repair its right mechanical arm, had sealed the wound with stitches and had placed some bandages over it.
The cyborg was washing its face, wiping away the blood traces. As it looked in the mirror and checked the damaged left eye, the Terminator indicated that the eye was no longer useful.
The Terminator grabs the scalpel, reaching to its damaged eye… and started to cut it out while blood kept dripping out of it.
After a minute, it managed to get the out and drops it in the sink.
When the Terminator grabs a towel to clean it, it checks itself in the mirror again. Where its left eye used to be, showed now its mechanical red glowing eye, showing what's truly under its skin. However, the Terminator knows it cannot show this in public as it would blow its cover. So, it takes black sunglasses that was sitting near the sink, putting it on, seeing it was perfectly covering its mechanical eye.
Knowing that it was now ready, the Terminator puts back on its jacket, taking the assault rifle and shotgun laying on the bed. It checked the ammo before climbing out the window, continuing its mission to find and kill Danny Fenton.
As the Terminator climbs into another car it had stolen, its systems calculated there's a 91% chance that Danny Fenton is now at the Amity Park police station.
After finding the address of the police station in its systems, the Terminator drives off, calculating it will arrive at its destination in 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, back at the Amity Park Police Station
In Lieutenant Trexler's office, Danny, Sam, Tucker, Jazz, Hal, Edward and Dr. Silberman were rewatching the recorded interrogation with Ember on a tv screen, showing Silberman taking over the psychological interrogation after Jazz's outburst when Ember mentioned Jazz's deepest and darkest secret.
Danny was shocked after hearing it on the tape. He didn't even remembered that his big sister had ever ran away from home as he was only 5 years old at the time, but couldn't believe that something as being molested by some random guy had ever happened to her.
On the video-recording, Silberman asks Ember, "Why didn't you bring any weapons through that time machine of yours? Something more advanced? Don't you have… ray guns?"
Hall chuckles at that.
Ember groans with annoyance "You go naked. It's something about the field generated that only living organisms can go. Nothing dead can be send back. I didn't build the fucking thing!"
"Okay, okay. But this… cyborg, if it's metal then… how is it even able to be send back?"
"Because it's surrounded by living tissue, that's how it was able to go through!"
Silberman put the tape on pause and expresses how this delusional story of Ember could make him famous "This is great stuff. I could make a career out of this girl! You see how clever this part is? It doesn't require a shred of proof. Well, most paranoid delusions are intricate, but this… this is brilliant!" he then put it back on play.
Edward rolls his eyes as the criminal psychiatrist only thinks about his career, while Jazz didn't paid much attention to it as she was still dealing with the shock that Ember knows about her past.
"Why were the other men carrying Danny's name killed?" Silberman asks on the tape to Ember.
Ember answers, "Most of the records were lost in the nuclear war. SkyNet knew almost nothing about Danielle Fenton's father. His full name, where he lived or email address. It just knew the state. The Terminator was just being systematic."
"Aha…" Silberman said, "Let's go back to-"
Ember, having had enough of all of Silberman's endless questions, finally snaps "Look, you have heard enough! I have answered your fucking questions, now I have to see Danny Fenton!"
Silberman, trying to calm her down, says, "I'm sorry, but that's not up to me."
"Then why am I talking to you? Who the hell is in charge in this place?!"
"Please, I'm just trying to-"
"SHUT UP!" Ember yells at him before turning to the camera, looking with an angry and desperate face, knowing what the Terminator is capable of "You still don't get it, do you?! That thing will find him! THAT'S WHAT IT DOES! THAT'S ALL IT DOES!" The police officer in the room tries to take Ember out while she struggled to get loose and keeps yelling at the camera "YOU CAN'T STOP IT! IT WON'T REST TILL IT HAS RIPPED DANNY TO PIECES AND PULLS HIS FUCKING HEART OUT! NOOOO, I HAVE TO PROTECT HIM! LET GO OF ME!"
Silberman stops the tape before apologizing to Danny "Sorry you had to see that."
Danny, shocked how crazy Ember sounded on the tape, though still not fully knowing what's right, asks the psychiatrist, "So… does this mean that… Ember really is crazy?"
"In technical terminology," Silberman shrugs, seeing that there's no doubt that Ember's completely delusional "She's a loon."
Sam puts her hand on Danny's shoulder "See? I told you that girl is a complete psycho! This is enough proof to lock that crazy bitch in a freaking assylum."
Silberman takes the DVD out of the DVD-player and says while putting the disk in a briefcase "That would be up to the judge to decide. But as far as this goes… yeah, this girl needs serious help."
"I still can't believe this…" Danny sighs, seeing that there's no need of further proof. But then asks Jazz, as he still wants to know why she never told what really happened 11 years ago "But, Jazz… is it true? Were you…?"
Jazz, who's about to sad as that horrible memory was coming back to her, shook her head while looking away "Please, Danny… not now." Clearly she didn't wanted to tell him.
Seeing how bad that part of her life must've been, Danny decided not to ask further, hoping that maybe in time she would tell him herself.
Tucker then wanders, "But, what about that other guy that was trying to kill Danny?"
Danny nods and asks Hal and Edward "Yeah. How was that guy still able to get up after being shot so many times?"
Edward forms a small smile as Hal takes out a bullet proof vest and shows it to Danny "Let me show you something, Danny. This is what they call body armor. Our SWAT guys wear these. They're powerful enough to even stop a 12-gauge round. The other guy must've been wearing one under his coat."
While Danny felt how powerful these bullet proof vests are, confirming that that must've been why that Terminator was unable to be killed after so many shotgun shots hit him, he asks "But, what about when he punched through the windshield?"
Hall, thinking knowing how he was able to do it, theorized, "He was probably high on PCP. Broke every bone in his hand. He wouldn't feel it for hours. There was even this guy back in LA 15 years ago doing the same thing before we caught him."
"Do you see now, Danny?" Sam tells him "There is no robot from the future and that Ember chick is completely crazy. What more proof do you need?"
"I…" Danny sighs while looking down "I don't know…"
Tucker puts his hand on his shoulder and tells, "Hey, I know it's been a hell of a day, dude, but you'll get over it. At least you're still okay."
Sam then suggested as she takes her jacket "C'mon, Danny, we'll bring you home."
But Danny shook his head "I… think I rather want to stay here for a bit longer… till my mom and dad are back."
Sam looks at him shocked at first, but after exchanging glances with Tucker, sighs "Well… okay. But just go home as soon as your folks are here to pick you up, okay?"
Danny just nods before looking at Jazz, who tells him, "Are you really sure, little brother? I can bring you home if you want?"
Danny was doubting, before Edward ensures him, "It's okay, son. You can stay here till your parents are back from Cleveland to pick you up."
"But, Lieutenant, what if… what about that other guy who's still out there?" Sam asks Edward worriedly.
The police lieutenant ensures her, "Now don't worry, Miss Manson. Danny is perfectly safe. We have over 40 cops in this building. And if this other guy ever shows his face, we'll take him in."
Sam nods and gives Danny a hug before she and Tucker began to leave, with them being picked up by their own parents.
Jazz gives her little brother a hug "See you later at home, Danny."
After Jazz left together with Dr. Silberman, Danny was allowed to remain in Edward's office. He sat on the couch while burying his head in his hands. Danny shook his head, being so confused. Despite he wanted to believe that Ember's completely crazy, deep down there was something that wanted him to believe her.
While Jazz and Dr. Silberman walked down the stairs to the first floor, Silberman asks Jazz with some concern as he puts his hand on her shoulder "Hey? You alright, Jasmine?"
Jazz stops before she shook her head "No…" she then looks at him with a face of disbelief "How could that girl known about me…?! I… never told anyone else before! How could I have missed that somebody could've figured it out…?!" she was feeling to freak out.
Silberman ensures her by calmly telling her, "Look, there are many ways for people to find secrets of others. She probably managed to find out long before coming to this town and has been manipulating everyone in her delusions about killer robots from the future. I can know because I have been dealing with these kind of criminal insane people for decades."
Jazz calmed down a bit, seeing that maybe Silberman had a point "That… might be…"
"You haven't done anything wrong during your interrogation. I think you did very well. Now, just go home and get some rest. And whenever you're ready to talk about whatever has happened to you in the past, I'm more than willing to listen."
Jazz nods "Thank you, doctor." She then gave a long sigh as the continued to the exit. Silberman went to another office to fill in some paperwork before going home.
Jazz, meanwhile gave her POLICE VISITOR CARD to the female desk officer, a 26-year-old female half Asian/half African American with long curly brown hair named Hope Leaf.
The friendly desk officer nods at Jazz "Have a good night, Jazz." She says while pressing a button, opening the security door for her.
Jazz gave her nod as she walks out "Yes… thank you, Hope. Good night." She then walks through the main door and walked to her car, entering it and drove off back to her house.
But just as Jazz drives away from the police station parking lot… the Terminator drives by and parks the car….
Not long after, Silberman gave his POLICE ID CARD to Hope and gave her a nod "Okay, I'm going. Goodnight."
"Goodnight, Doc." Hope says with a smile before pressing the button to open the security door for him before resuming writing a report.
Silberman gave a long sigh as he was tired. But just as he was about to go through the main door, his peeper went off, making him to look and turn it off, not having noticed that the Terminator entered and walked past the psychiatrist.
The Terminator, showing no emotion at all, walked over to officer Leaf at the front desk and says, "I'm a friend of the Fenton family. I was told that Danny Fenton is here. Could I see him please?"
Hope gave him a short glance, raising an eyebrow at him before she shook her head and tells, "I'm sorry, sir, but you can't see him now. He's making a statement."
"Where is he?" the Terminator asks, still not showing any emotion.
Hope, while she was still writing, tells him "Look, it may take a while." She then points to the few benches at the corner "If you want to wait, there are some benches over there."
The Terminator then scans for 10 seconds the bulletproof glass that protected the front desk and the secured door.
The Terminator leans closer to the desk officer and says, "I'll be back." And then left through the front door.
Officer Leaf raises an eyebrow at the guy who simply left and said he would be back later. She then shrugs and resumes writing her rapport. But suddenly sees a car racing towards the entrance, shocking her before the car crashes inside the police station and hit the front desk, killing officer Leaf!
The loud crash was heard throughout the entire police station, shocking everyone, including Danny.
The Terminator, who'd been driving the car into the station, steps out while taking his HK460 assault riffle and Benelli M4 shotgun.
As a few officers appeared to see what was causing the crash, all were suddenly shot by the Terminator with its assault rifle, killing them!
"GUN! GUN!" a female officer yells while trying to grab her gun but the Terminator shot her dead in the head with its shotgun!
The Terminator then went through each office, shooting every cop it had on sight!
Meanwhile up at Trexler's office, Danny was shocked when hearing the gun shots from downstairs, starting to get afraid that it was the same man who'd tried to kill him earlier "Oh no…!"
Edward checked on him and told him "Stay here!" and locked the door to protect the 16-year-old boy.
"Is it a terrorist attack?!" a male officer called while taking his gun.
"C'mon, let's go! Let's go!" another officer yells as they quickly went downstairs to deal with the intruder.
However, the Terminator was unbeatable as it shot every cop trying to fight back!
The Terminator kicks the door open, seeing three officers firing at them with their pistols! But because none of their bullets was able to harm it, the Terminator raised its assault rifle and fired at them, killing two of them while wounding the third officer!
"RETREAT! RETREAT!" one police lieutenant yells while one officer was firing at the Terminator before he was shot dead by the Terminator's shotgun!
The Terminator then spots a power generator nearby. It breaks the door open, ignoring the bullets fired from the other officers. It snaps one of its cables and presses it against the generator, causing a blackout throughout the entire station and turned off all the lights, before only a few emergency lights came on!
Nearby, while one officer was busy to get Ember into one of the holding cells, he stops when checking what was causing all that noise.
Hal runs by and orders the officer to keep an eye on Ember "Watch her!"
As the officer nods and closes the door, he was suddenly tackled by Ember against the wall before she kneecapped him in the face, knocking him out! Ember, though her hands were still in cuffs behind her back, lowers herself as she reaches for the cop's keys to untie herself.
The Terminator meanwhile resumed its search to look for Danny Fenton, killing a few brave cops that fired back at it.
Meanwhile, Hal and Edward were arming themselves with the SWAT team, loading their M4 assault rifles.
Detecting that Danny Fenton was not on the main floor, it calculated that Danny Fenton must be on the second floor. When seeing the staircase to go up, it was met by another few officers that were firing with a shotgun and assault rifle, but couldn't kill the intruder, much to their shock and horror before the Terminator shot them both dead!
As it walked up the stairs, it reloaded its shotgun and assault rifle before it made it to the second floor where he met with the entire SWAT Team.
"OPEN FIRE!" Ed ordered before they all fired their M4 riffles at the Terminator!
Though not surprised, the Terminator took a step back before shooting back!
10 blocks away, Jazz, in her car, while still waiting for the light to turn green, saw on her side-view mirror an explosion going off at the police station. Shocked, she looks back.
"DANNY!" the overly worried older sister cried before making a sharp turn and raced back to the police station.
Danny meanwhile was hiding under a desk, panting in fear while holding his ears tight.
Then, he heard someone approaching, trying to open the door. When it broke the glass to unlock the door, Danny held his eyes closed tight, fearing it was this killer cyborg that Ember warned him about.
But instead, he heard a familiar girl voice, being Ember "Danny? DANNY!"
"Ember! I'm here!" he appeared out of the desk, seeing to his confirmation and relief that it is Ember.
Ember nods and pulls him by his arm, dragging him through the hallway "C'mon. This way." Both kept their heads down while Ember lead Danny through a few hallways till they reached the other staircase.
Meanwhile, after a fierce firefight, all the SWAT members lay dead or wounded on the floor. Hall was dead while Edward groans in pain, holding the bleeding shot wound to it belly.
While the Terminator coldly walked over the dead corpses to keep searching for its target, Edward angrily took out his pistol and fired at the Terminator's head, but still it wouldn't kill him.
The Terminator turns around, aiming its shotgun on Edward… and kills him!
It then turns and went on its search for its target, searching through every office, but couldn't find Danny anywhere.
Then, when the Terminator heard a car racing out of the parking lot, it looks out the window, spotting Danny in a car with Ember and drives away fast.
The Terminator knew it has lost its target. Knowing it couldn't stay at the police station, it walks down the stairs.
As Jazz was just about to enter the parking lot of the police station, not knowing that Danny had already left with Ember, she shockingly got out of her car as she saw all the devastation.
As the Terminator walks out holding both its riffles, scanning its surroundings, Jazz gasps and hide behind her car. She peeks out, watching this muscled armed man leaving the station without showing any emotion.
When remembering Danny telling her about this Terminator that was hunting him, Jazz was shocked that this man was the one Danny was warning her and the others about.
Back with Danny and Ember
Inside the red Honda Accord that Ember 'stole' to get Danny away from the Terminator, Ember drove into the neighborhood where Danny lives.
Confused, Danny asks her, "Wait. Why are we going to my house?"
"To gather all the small supplies I have kept in my safehouse." She answers.
"Your… safehouse?"
Ember nods as she parks in Danny's street, next to the abandoned house on the other side of where Danny's house is.
Danny was a bit surprised that Ember had been hiding in the old house that nobody have been living in as long as he could remember "You… were hiding in here?" then he forms a small smile as he was somewhat impressed "Huh. Hiding in plain sight. Who would've known?"
Ember steps out of the car and says, "You can thank me later." She then quickly heads to the boarded front door and kicks it open!
"Whoa…" Danny said as he saw how powerful Ember's kick was before going with her into the old house and walk up the stairs quick where Ember was already taking a backpack and began to pack up her supplies, which were food and another gun with ammo.
"I don't have a lot, so pack up only what we need." She instructed him.
"Right!" Danny said before taking duffle bag and began packing her small supplies. After a minute, he nods "Well, I think I have everything."
Ember took her packs of cigarettes, which were at least 20 and two lighters "Not leaving without my smokes." She said while putting them in her backpack "Okay, now let's get the fuck out of here."
Both went down the stairs and went to Ember's stolen car.
But just as Ember got in, Danny realized something "Whoa, wait a minute!" he then tells her "We're gonna need money in case we need it."
Ember groans "We don't have time for that!"
Danny however shook his head "I know, but without money we won't make it that far, really. Look, let me just go inside my house real quick and get my savings."
Though every vain in Ember told her that they should leave now, she sighs as she nods "Okay, Danny, maybe you're right, but we can't stay here for too long. Just grab whatever you have and let's get out."
"I'll be quick! I promise!" Danny says before running to the other side of the street to his home.
To Danny's surprise, he saw that the front door was broken. But not having time to figure out how this happened, he hurried up the stairs and went into his room before going under the bed, pulling out a small container filled with 1,500 dollars. "Man, I have been saving this for years for NASA camp. Never thought I'd use it to get outta town." He said before heading downstairs to Ember, entering the car "I got it. It's over 1,500 bucks."
"Good enough." Ember nods before igniting the engine "Now let's get out of here." And drove fast out of the street.
Danny took a look back to his house, forming a sad face as they left his neighborhood. And eventually leaving Amity Park behind them.
An hour later, as they drove by the city of Toledo, with neither Danny or Ember having said a word as Danny was still dealing with the trauma he'd just witnessed and Ember being focused to keep Danny safe.
Danny then watches the time on his watch, seeing it's 1:45 AM.
He then asks her, breaking the silence, "Where are we going?"
Ember shook her head "I don't know yet, but we're getting as far away as we can from the Terminator."
Danny just gave a simple nod as he looks out the window and then asks as he looks back at her, "How far?"
"The further the better." She simply answers.
"Right…" Danny nods. But as reality began to set in for him, he shook his head "I just… can't believe all of this… That killer cyborg coming from the future to kill me for something I haven't even done yet…" he then looks back at her "You're really are from the future, huh?"
Ember gave him a short glance before focusing back on traffic "So I guess you believe me now?"
Danny gave a shrug "What's more to deny? A guy being able to break into the police station like that? And you clearly not being crazy at all…"
Ember raises an eyebrow at him that Danny thought that she was a delusional girl, but then gave a shrug herself "I understand you didn't wanted to belief me earlier. I know it's a lot to take in."
"No shit…!" Danny sighs as he buries his head in his hands. Trying to get his mind on something else, he asks "So… the further away from that cyborg the better, meaning… like what? Going to California, maybe?"
Ember gave him a short glance before she nods "Actually, that's not such a bad idea."
"Really?" Danny asks surprised "I was only…" he tried to say that it was only meant as a joke, but quickly brushed it off "Never mind."
Ember then thought "Well, it'll take a few days at most to get there with this car."
But Danny shook his head "That might be not such a good idea."
"Why?"
Danny shrugged "Well… you kinda stole this car from a police parking lot, so this car maybe belonged to one of those cops."
Ember sighs "Maybe you're right. Do you then have a better plan? It's not like going on foot would be idea, unless you prefer to walk across the country for months."
Danny then spots a train depot and got an idea "We could take the train?"
Ember raised an eyebrow at him "Train?"
Danny shrugs "Well, it's just an option, I mean… We won't have to worry about any cops checking the roads for this stolen car and we have a place along the way to rest. It's not like security on the train is gonna be that tight, right?"
Ember thought of that, but stated, "I… I don't know," but then said as she looks at Danny "but if you say it's okay… then I trust you."
Danny forms a small smile "Okay. Train it is then."
"Alright. We'll…" Ember thought while seeing a sign saying: CHICAGO 230 MILES. "We'll get to Chicago and… try to get some train tickets, if that's what you people call in this time."
Danny nods "Yeah, we do."
Both share a small smile.
Some hours went by and were only more than an hour away from Chicago. Though Danny was feeling sleepy, he just couldn't sleep as his mind was still constantly of having almost being killed a dozens of times yesterday.
"You should get some rest, Danny," Ember suggests.
Danny however shook his head "I can't sleep."
Ember sighs, knowing that pushing him to get some sleep after all that had happened wouldn't do good and knows how it feels.
Later, when finally making it to Chicago, Danny and Ember ditched the stolen car somewhere and took out the backpack and the duffle bag. Both then walked down through the mostly empty streets, heading to the Chicago Union Station.
Along the way, while Ember was smoking a cigarette, Danny saw on a clock nearby that it's 6:38 AM. He sighs deep as he said to himself "Not having slept all night… almost like a whole night of playing DOOMED," but then chuckles "except I don't have to worry to go to school now." He then got a bit sad "My parents and my sister must be dead worried by now." But then he gasps in shock "Oh my God!"
Ember stops "What?"
"That… Terminator! It might go after my parents!" he yells and took out his PDA "I gotta warn them!"
But before Danny could dial his parents' number, Ember grabs his wrist tight "No! We can't!"
Though Danny was shocked that Ember stopped him from contacting his family, he begs her "But… if that machine…! They could be in danger…!"
Ember tried to calm him down "Danny, use your head. If you try to contact your family or your friends, that Terminator will find us much easier!"
Danny looks at her in shock, but began to see that she's right. But still he felt awful for letting his family down.
"I know it's hard, but the fate of the world depends on your survival! Without you… Danielle will never be born and the machines will wipe out all of mankind." Ember states, trying to get Danny to understand how important it is that he survives.
Danny gave a sad sigh as he lowers his hand "You… you're right…" he then looks at his PDA… and throws it in a nearby trash bin.
Ember nods and both resumed walking to Chicago Union Station.
When it was 7:30 AM, Danny and Ember walked into the large train station, heading to the front desk that sell tickets.
A middle aged old man, sitting at the desk, sees the two late teens walking to him and asks, "Good morning. What can I do for you?"
"Uhm… We uhh…" Danny tried to say while looking at the big board saying which trains will be leaving to where.
Ember answered for him "We wanna go to Los Angeles."
The guy gave a nod and checks his computer "The first Amtrak train will be leaving in an hour, but you're going to have to transfer at least 3 times."
Danny then asks "Are there any trains that go… directly to LA without any transfers?"
The man nods "There is. That one will leave at 10:35. We still have a few rooms left I see."
"We'll take it." Ember says.
"Alright, that'll be 462 dollars for the both of you."
Danny nods and takes out his savings. He counts all the 20 and 50-dollar bills and puts them on the counter. After receiving his 8 dollars' worth of change, the man prints the two tickets for them and hands them over.
"Here you go." The guy says.
Danny takes the tickets and thanks him as he and Ember left "Okay… thank you."
The guy gave a shrug as he cracked a joke "Yeah, have a safe trip you little runaways."
Ember groans with annoyance "Fuck off."
As Danny and Ember, after a few minutes of searching, found the train they're supposed to be put on, they headed inside, being greeted by a female first class attendant.
"Welcome onboard," the attendant says "Tickets please." she asks and Danny hands over his and Embers. When seeing their tickets were in order, she showed them in which cabin they're supposed to be "Very well. Follow me please."
When being shown their Roomette, Danny sighs as she sits on the coach.
Ember forms a small smile as she puts her backpack on the floor and takes off her long black jacket before sitting next to him.
Danny shook his head "Still can't believe I'm doing this. Running away from home."
"It's for the better," Ember assures him "I won't let anything happen to you, Danny. I promise…" she tells him.
Danny gave a small chuckle "It's good to have at least have my protector from the future with me." he then shook his head again before giving a long yawn.
"Just take your rest… We're safe for now…" Ember softly tells him while putting her arm over his shoulder.
As Danny rest his head on her, he sighs "I hope so…" after only a few minutes… Danny finally closed his eyes and fell asleep.
Back in Amity Park, town Hall – 8:30 AM
With the news about both the shooting at the Amity Park Movie Theatre and attack on the town's big police station having spread like wildfire on the news, the mayor, Ernesto Montez, would be holding a press conference to make a statement.
As the mayor steps on a stage together with the police commissioner and a special agent from the FBI, dozens of press photographers made lots of pictures while camera men from almost every news station were broadcasting live.
Mayor Montez sighs as he and the other two men walk over to the large desk and both sit down. The mayor then began to speak into the many microphones to the press "Good morning…" he then said with a mixture of seriousness and some sadness, "Last night, our dear city of Amity Park… has been hit at its very heart in an apparent terrorist attack on our citizens and our city's beloved law enforcements. I regret to tell you, that in both the shootout at the Amity Movie Theatre and the attack on Amity Park Police Station, this lone wolf terrorist… has killed 7 people at the movie theatre and killed 22 of our finest men and women of the Police Department have been killed, with 9 of them being hospitalized… and 4 of them now being in critical condition, fighting for their very lives… Our thoughts… and our prayers go to the families who last night have lost a husband. A wife. A father. A mother. A son… or daughter." Then the mayor said with anger on his face "Make no mistake, people of Amity Park…! The one responsible for this cowardly and unprovoked attack on our dear city will not go unpunished! With the help of our fellow coworkers in the law enforcement and the FBI, we will hunt down… and bring this coldblooded terrorist to justice!"
While the journalists were making lots of pictures, Mayor Montez allowed the Police Commissioner giving the word now, with the man telling, "As of now, with the full support of police departments of 10 other counties, the largest law enforcement mobilization in Ohio's history is now underway." A picture of a video recording of the Terminator shooting inside the Amity Park Police Station was shown on a tv big screen for all to see "As the current whereabouts of this mass murderer are still unknown, which all citizens of Amity Park, including those in the towns and cities nearby, are asked to watch for anything suspicious and warned not to engage this person as he's considered heavily armed and extremely dangerous. If anyone knows where this man is or has any valuable information about this person that could lead to his arrest, should contact local law enforcements immediately."
Then all the journalists began loudly asking questions.
The mayor allowed the first male reporter to ask.
"Has the police or the FBI know the identity of this cop killing terrorist?"
"No," the FBI agent answered, "As of this moment, the name of the suspect is still unknown. But as Commissioner Green has just stated, if anyone has any valuable information should contact law enforcements immediately."
Then the journalists were again loudly asking to ask the next question.
"Yes," mayor Montez points to the female journalist "What's your question?"
"You just told us that this was a terrorist attack. Does this mean Al-Quada is responsible for this?"
The mayor shook his head, trying to clear up his previous statement "No, that's completely absurd. The FBI has ensured me that these attacks were not the work of some fanatical Islamists. What we're dealing with, is a lone wolf, who's operating alone without any connections to any terrorist or extremists group."
Then a young journalist, being 20-years-old, asks the Police Commissioner, "According to several sources, the police had previously arrested another suspect that was possibly involved in the shooting at the movie theatre. Can you tell us anything about that?"
The commissioner sighs as he states, "Yes, we had arrested a young woman that was involved in the shooting and has been kept in police custody for questioning. Unfortunately, in all the chaos in the attack on the station, the woman managed to escape and has kidnapped a witness."
More journalists were then even asking more louder.
"What is that woman's name?"
"Is it true the witness' name is Danny Fenton?"
"Other witnesses tell that the Fentons' son was the target in both attacks. Is their family involved in the mafia or something?"
Seeing this was all they wished to share, the FBI agent whispers to the mayor and the police commissioner that it's best to leave. The mayor nods the press as he rose up "I'm sorry, people, but because we can't share anything more as that would compromise the investigation, that's all for now." The other two also rose and left while the dozens of journalists yelled and begged for more questions.
Meanwhile, at Fenton Works
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE OUR SON IS?!" Maddie yells disoriented to the police officers that had come to their house to tell the news that they still have no clue where Danny is.
A female police officers in her 30's tried to calm her down "Mrs. Fenton, we're doing everything we can to find your son-"
"MY SON WAS ALMOST KILLED IN A SHOOTING! TWICE!" Maddie almost cried out of extreme worry "HE COULD BE DEAD BY NOW! Oh God… Danny…!"
Jack, though also very worried about Danny, hugs his wife, letting her cry on his shoulder.
Meanwhile, in the dining room, two federal agents were interrogating Jazz as she was the last person who'd seen the attacker.
Jazz shook her head "He wasn't acting… human. Like… he had the coldest and most serious face I'd ever seen."
"And you're telling us that this other girl named Ember McLain believes it's a cyborg from the future?" the FBI agent asks before he snickers "I've heard a lot of crazy stories, but this? This one takes the cake!"
The other FBI agent, the older and more serious one, then asks Jazz, "Why do you believe this man could be after your brother and what does this Ember girl has anything to do with it, apart from the crazy girl's perspective of coming from the future?"
Jazz again shook her head "I told you, I don't know. And if I did, I would've told you already."
The older FBI agents sighs while he shook his head "This is going nowhere for us."
"My little brother disappeared over 9 hours ago and has to be together with this girl named Ember! They couldn't have gone far!" Jazz pleads.
But the first FBI agent shook his head "I'm sorry, but by now, they could be anywhere across the country." Then he narrows his eyes "And if this Ember girl is as crazy as they said she is… we better hope your little brother is still alive."
Later, while the cops and the FBI agents were talking with Jack and Maddie, Jazz went up stairs and entered Danny's bedroom.
With a long sigh, Jazz sits on the bed, having never been so worried before about her little brother. Jazz then checks her cellphone, seeing she'd tried to call Danny over 40 times but still hadn't picked up his PDA "Oh, Danny… Where are you?" she asks herself with sadness.
As she buries her face in her hands, Jazz shook her head as she thought back what Ember told her and Dr. Silberman last night, about the future war with this AI-computer and this Terminator send to kill Danny.
"No… that can't be. Is that man really a robot from the future, send to kill Danny?" she questions herself. She prayed to herself while tears form in her eyes "Ember… if you're really are who you say you are… please… protect my little brother…"
Hours later, back with Danny and Ember in the train
Danny began to wake up after his long nap. He sees on his watch it's 12:34 PM. Suddenly had the urge to use the restroom.
He quickly rose up and headed inside the bathroom. But to his surprise, finds Ember while taking a shower, seeing her naked back and butt.
Ember looks and gasps in surprise "Danny!"
Danny quickly looks away while blushing deep red "Oh God, I'm so sorry! I didn't know that you were taking a shower! I just…!"
Though Ember too was blushing cause Danny wandered in without knowing she was taking a shower, became a bit mischievous and shows herself to Danny while striking a sexy pose, teasing him.
"Like the view? Hmm?"
Danny couldn't help but to look, seeing Ember's gorgeous and sexy athletic shaped naked body. He blushes deep red, redder than he'd ever done before as this was the first time he'd truly seen a girl's full naked body.
"I…" Danny tried to say before he quickly left, feeling very embarrassed about this "… I'll just use a different restroom!" and closes the door and hurried out, finding another restroom he could use.
Seeing Danny embarrassed like that made Ember chuckle while continuing her shower "Oh, Danny… Hahahaha…"
Ember couldn't deny that she actually liked teasing Danny like that.
An half hour later, after Ember had finished her shower and put back on her clothes, steps out of the bathroom, seeing Danny sitting on the couch, still looking embarrassed.
Ember gives him a teasing smile as she sat next to him close by the window. Danny began to blush deep again.
Ember chuckles "C'mon… it was only a joke. Besides, seemed fair after storming into the bathroom without knocking."
"Uhh… yeah, I guess." Danny admitted before he asks, "So, since we have time, you, uh… wanna talk… about your past?"
Ember was surprised at that question. But feeling like she could trust Danny after spending some time with him, sighs and says, "Well, since we have time to ourselves and a long way from that damn machine, I suppose I can tell you."
As she was about to take out one of her packs, Danny tells Ember as she was clearly going to pull out a cigarette, "Uhh… sorry, Ember, but it's also not allowed to smoke in here."
Ember looks at him as she just put her cigarette in her mouth and began to frown "You serious?"
Danny nods "yeah, it's kind of a… federal law that prohibits people from smoking aboard trains," but then quickly ensures her "I think there may be a smoking area somewhere onboard."
That made Ember form a small smile as she took out her cigarette and puts it back in her pack "Sure hope you're right." She and Danny then stood up and walked out of their cabin.
When Danny saw one of the conductors, he asks her friendly, "Uhm… excuse me, Miss?"
The female African American conductor turns and smiles at him, "Yes? Can I help you with anything, kid?"
Though Danny felt a bit embarrassed, he tells her, "My girlfriend and I were wandering if there's an area onboard where she could smoke?"
Though the female conductor raises an eyebrow at them, she answers while pointing to the back of the train "Sure. We have a smoking cabin at the end of the train, close to the baggage area."
"Thanks." Danny says as he and Ember went to the back.
When reaching the smoking cabin, Ember sighs in relief as she and Danny enter "Thank fucking God…!" she puts her cigarette in her mouth and used her lighter to lighting it up, taking a drag before blowing out the smoke.
Though Danny felt a bit uncomfortable to stand in a smoking cabin that smelled like used cigarettes, he was at least thankful that there was nobody in here but them.
Ember then proceeded to tell him her story. "Well, Danny… when I was young, I had a family just like you have. It was just the four of us. My mom and dad, and… my little sister… Lily." She revealed sadly before taking a drag from her cigarette and blowing out the smoke.
"What happened to them?" Danny wondered. "Are they…?"
"My parents… died years ago… before they were captured by HK's." Ember revealed before putting her cigarette between her lips in sadness at the memory.
"Years ago?" Danny asked confused, but remembering that Ember's from the future, he asks "You mean years ago in your future, right?"
Without looking at him, Ember sadly nods "Yeah…"
"I'm sorry…"
Ember sighs as she began to tell what had happened that very day in the dark future "I've been trying to move on for so long… trying to block out those awful memories… But I guess some wounds will never fully heal. Like I told you the night before, I was born in the ruins, somewhere outside of what was once Kansas City, on a cold winters night in January 2031. Every day it was a fight to survive… As we were starving, we tried to eat anything that was eatable… And every night was hard to sleep out of fear being discovered by those HK's. Then… when I was only 6 years old and my little sister Lily only 4… they found us…"
Flashback from Ember's past
April 15th, 2037
North of ruins of Kansas City
A 27-year-old bald guy named Arthur McLain, wearing old and dirty soldier clothes and had an eyepatch over where his right eye used to be, ran as fast as he could through the rain, through the ruins of the suburbs of Kansas City.
A flying HK flew above, using its scanners and spotlights to find the human it had just spotted.
Arthur, while panting, took a sharp right turn, heading into an old house before hiding behind a partly destroyed wall. His heart was pounding while trying to catch his breath while also not daring to move a muscle, fearing that the HK would find him.
When the flying HK flew above Arthur slowly, not spotting its target, it flew into a different direction, thinking the human went deeper into the suburbs. However, Arthur opened a hatch leading to the basement, going inside slowly before quickly closing the hatch.
"Arthur?" a 24-year-old woman with short black hair and wearing an old red jumpsuit, asks her husband while lighten a lantern. She is Arthur's wife named Elizabeth.
From behind an old closet where 2 old mattresses lay, came 2 young girls, being 6-year-old Ember and 4-year-old Lily. Both had long brown hair, blue eyes but were also skinny as they hadn't much to eat.
"Daddy…!" both girls called but quietly as they were taught never to raise their voices because of the patrolling machines of SkyNet looking for human survivors. Ember and Lily ran to their father and hug him.
Arthur hugs his daughters, thanking God that the both of them and his wife were alright "Thank God…"
Lily then worriedly walked over to him, telling him, "You've been gone for so long… I thought you were…"
Arthur shook his head "I'm alright. Damn HK's were all over the place." he then took something from his backpack, ready to show his children what he'd found for them "Wanna see what kind of treasure your daddy has found today?"
Little Ember and Lily nodded heavily.
Arther showed them he had in his backpack dozens of cans of food "A king's meal." He joked while handing over a can of corned beef to Ember and Lily.
Starved out, both children eagerly took the can, with Ember opening it and both began to eat like they haven't eat in ages, enjoying every bite.
Elizabeth was glad that they'd finally have some food after not having eaten in days, rewarding Arthur with a kiss.
Arthur nods as he told her "Enough food for a few weeks at most." But then he told with some worry "There have been more HK patrols in the city than usual. It's not safe here anymore. We have to leave the city, Liz."
But Elizabeth was shocked that her husband suggested something as that "Leave? Out in the open? That's suicide, Arthur!"
"We have no choice, honey!" Arthur tells her very seriously, knowing had dangerous it has become with SkyNet having send more of its machines into Kansas City "If we stay here, we die, either by those machines or of starvation."
"Then where are we supposed to go?"
Arthur then took out something else from his backpack, being a small high-tech transmitter "I've managed to make contact with the Resistance here. They said that they plan to retreat to Saint Louis. They've promised that we can come with them."
"When?"
"Tonight."
This surprised Elizabeth "That soon…?!"
Arthur gives his wife a simple nod, showing he was very serious.
Elizabeth, not arguing with her husband about this as they know what kind of dangerous and dark world they're living in, sighs before she nods at him "Okay." she then went to her children and tells them "Ember… Lily… Start packing whatever you can carry. We're leaving."
Several hours later, with night having fallen in while it was still pouring rain, the McLain family were about to make their daring escape from Kansas City, having to avoid any detection from HK's and heading deeper into the ruins of the city to where to meet the resistance cell that was supposed to help them.
"How far is it, daddy…?" Ember quietly whispers while they were hiding in a building from a flying HK.
Arthur shook his head to his daughter "Not that far, Ember… Just a few more blocks away."
"Help… me…!" they heard someone calling from the building next to them.
Lily then said "Mommy, daddy, someone's being hurt."
But Arthur shook his head "We don't have time. He'll be fine."
"Please…! Someone…! Help me…!" the seemingly male voice calls again.
Elizabeth frowns, not wanting to leave anyone else leave to their fate "Stay with your father…!" she whispers to her daughters and heads to the other building.
"Liz…!" Arthur calls "Come back! Are you crazy?!"
"Mommy…!" Ember calls.
Arthur curses himself and drags his daughters with them, going after Elizabeth.
But as they entered the other building, they heard nothing.
Arthur took out his plasma rifle, wanting to call for his wife but was too scared as any loud noise could attract any of the machines.
"Mommy…!" Ember quietly calls.
Elizabeth then appeared from another room, signaling her family where she was "Over here."
When they met with her, they entered the room, finding a man with short blond hair, wearing a Resistance uniform and was very muscled. He was laying on the ground while groaning with pain, being seemingly injured.
Elizabeth took out a medical kit from her backpack while going over to him "Don't worry. I'll help you."
The guy looks at Elizabeth and asks while being in pain "Are there… more…?"
"Just me… and my family." Elizabeth says while taking bandages and removes a piece of clothing, seeing that the guy was bleeding bad from his stomach.
Lily and Ember both looked scared "Mommy… is he going to be okay?"
Elizabeth gives them an assuring smile.
"Liz!" Arthur calls in near anger "We can't waste our medical supplies on him! We got to leave!"
But Elizabeth looked determined and told her husband with some anger rising in her "We're all fighting together against SkyNet, Arthur! And I'm not leaving anyone behind! Now, come and help me with-" but her words were cut short as she felt suddenly an intense pain from her chest. With shock, she looks at the guy, with its eyes glowing red and had pierced its hand into her chest, grabbing her heart and rips it out!
Ember looks with horror while Lily screams.
Arthur quickly grabs his riffle "FUCK! IT'S A TERMINATOR!" and shot the cyborg with a rain of plasma fire for as it had killed his wife!
The Terminator that had killed Elizabeth was destroyed, but Elizabeth fell down motionless.
"Elizabeth…?! Liz!" Arthur yells in horror as he ran to her "LIZ!" and shakes her body, but it was to no use. She was dead.
"MOMMY!" Ember yelled in horror.
Suddenly, they heard multiple flying HK's flying over to them as they'd received the fallen Terminator's signal of finding human survivors.
Arthur looks up before a spotlight from an HK shined on him, looking with horror before looking at his daughters, with both of them looking from the doorway.
"RUN-" Arthur yelled before being shot from a big plasma fire from the HK, blowing him up, killing him instantly!
Ember and Lily just stood there in horror. But little Ember was the first to snap out of it and drags his little sister out, running away as fast as they could, running outside in the rain while HK's flew above.
Little Ember and Lily fled into another building, trying to hide.
Lily then looks the other way, seeing another Terminator without human tissue and only its metal endoskeleton, in front of them, towering over them. Lily shrieks.
Little Ember had no time to react before it grabbed both her and Lily.
Hours had passed, and little Ember and Lily were pushed out of a flying transport, dragged into one of SkyNet's extermination camps.
The whole time while being forced to move into the camp by other Terminators, little Ember and Lily held each other tight, being so scared and very sad that their parents were now dead.
Ember had no idea how much time had passed. She only remembered of being forcefully separated from her little sister by a machine.
Ember was then forced into a room. A Terminator grabs her arm… and places it into another machine where a laser scan burned a barcode on Ember's right wrist, making Ember yelling pain "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
Then, after it was over, an loud alarm went off, hearing loud noises of fighting and plasma fire while Ember held her eyes closed tight.
When the sounds of fighting were over, Ember slowly looks, seeing instead a Terminator, a woman looking down at her, being Danielle Fenton.
Ember forms a small smile of relief and hope.
Danielle smiles at her before offering her hand.
Ember takes her hand and helped her standing up. Danielle takes her in her arms and leaves the room. Ember saw to her surprise the whole place in ruin, with all the Terminators being destroyed. She saw her little sister, though beaten up, she was alright while being helped by a Resistance medic, much to little Ember's relief. She hugs her savior.
"Don't worry. You're safe now, Ember…" Danielle whispers softly into her ear.
End of Ember's flashback
Ember, while a tear fell down her cheek, forms a small smile "After Danielle Fenton had saved me and my little sister, I was never the same again. My parents… being killed like that… I'll never get those images out of my head. Me and Lily were determined and wanted to fight back, making those machines pay for not just what they did to our world… but mostly for taking away our parents."
Danny had been listening the whole time, being shocked to hear what kind of trauma Ember had to go through during her childhood in the future, being orphaned in such a cruel way, explaining all the trauma she'd carried with her and how it has shaped her into the young woman she is now.
"Oh my… God, Ember…! That's… horrible." Danny said with a lot of sympathy.
Ember forms a small smile at him while wiping away the tear from her cheek. She then takes a final drag from her cigarette before putting it out in an ashtray and blew out the smoke.
"Me and Lily were brought to the Resistance cell in Saint Louis, where they train children to become soldiers when the time was right," Ember told further, telling what happened after that "Dani visited regularly, saying that she 'saw something in me' and even began training me personally," Ember chuckles "It made the other children trainees jealous as I became 'Danielle Fenton's little prodigy' and I was even taught by her blind aunt, Jazz."
Danny forms a small smile, but then his smile fades while he shook his head as he imagined his middle-aged older sister being blind "Hard to believe that she'll become blind in the future. Must've been hard for her."
Ember shrugs "It was in the beginning, but she'd learned herself to adapt and learning a few tricks on her own to increase her other senses, seeing the world in a different way." She then takes a new cigarette and lights it "And after training, Danielle tells me countless tales of her old life before the war, where she and her parents have been and told me a lot about her father, but…" Ember then shrugs "… she'd always been avoiding talking about her mom."
This made Danny think and cracks a little joke as he chuckles "Well… at least I know what to name her when she's born. So… tell me more about my future daughter."
Ember gave a smile as she takes a drag from her cigarette and blew out the smoke "She's about my height." She and Danny then looks into each other's eyes, with her telling softly "She has your eyes…"
Danny blushes a bit while giving a small chuckle "What's she like?"
"You trust her. She has a kind of strength." Ember states "I would give my life for Danielle Fenton."
"Wow…" Danny said, being somehow impressed "What a daughter I'm gonna have," then he wanders out of curiosity "Soooo… I suppose you really don't know who the mother is? So at least I can… make the right move when I see her?" he said with a bit embarrassment while he blushes.
Though those words hurt Ember as she'd always liked him, she knew it wouldn't be possible as Danny is destined being with somewhat else. But again shook her head "Danielle never told me anything about her mother. All she said before I went to this time is that 'I'll know when I will know'. That's it. That's all the info I have of your future wife, Danny."
Danny scratched the back of his head "Right… Sorry. That was a stupid question." He then changed the subject "So… is it true that you volunteered to go back in time to protect me?"
Ember looks back at him and gave a nod "Yeah, I did."
"But why?" Danny asks with some surprise "I mean… that kinda means that you can't go back to your own time, right?"
"I know… But it was a risk I was willing to make." She then holds his hand "It was a chance for me to finally meet the legend. Danny Fenton. Who taught his daughter to fight, organize. He and his wife prepared her from when she was just a kid, when you both were hiding from the war."
Danny could hardly believe all that Ember was telling him about who he was in Dani's life, which sounds like nothing being like him "You're talking about things that I haven't even done yet, in the past tense." He shook his head "This all is really driving me crazy." Being unsure if Ember is right, he asks her, "Are you really sure you have the right person?"
Ember gave him a serious look "I'm sure it is you."
Danny rolls his eyes, being unable to belief that he'll turn out as how Ember describes him "Come on, Ember. Do I look like the father of the savior of the world to you?! I mean am I tough? Organized? Hell, I can't even pass a good grade to finally go to NASA!" he walks back and forth before looking back at Ember "Look, Ember, I'm more than thankful you've saved me countless times yesterday, but I didn't ask for this honor! And honestly, I don't even want it! ANY OF IT!"
Ember however wasn't annoyed by this as she knew this would be hard for Danny to believe. She takes a drag and blows out the smoke as she tells him "Your daughter gave me a message to give to you, made me memorize it."
Danny sighs before he gave a nod "Alright. Then what is this message?"
"It goes like this: 'Thank you, Danny, for everything you and mom taught me through the dark years. Without the courage and determination you've shown me, I wouldn't be where I am now. I can't help you with what you must soon face, except to say that the future is not set. There's no fate but what we make for ourselves. You must be stronger than you imagine you can be. You must survive, or I will never exist'."
Hearing that made Danny think. He was unsure he would ever be this badass soldier that would train his daughter being the savior of mankind, but this message from his daughter in the future did made him consider that maybe it was time for him to grow in character as it would not only mean choosing between life and death but also the survival of the human race.
Ember took another drag and blew slowly the smoke as a moment of silence fell between them.
After a minute, Danny just asks out of the blue "May I have one?"
Ember raises an eyebrow at him for asking for a cigarette "You sure? I thought you said you don't smoke these 'things that causes cancer'?"
Danny shrugs "I don't know… Maybe I… just need something to ease my mind."
Ember forms a small smile as she took her pack and held it in front of Danny, allowing him to take a cigarette.
Danny sighs while putting the cigarette in his mouth "Never thought I would ever do this." Ember then uses her lighter to lighten up his cigarette for him.
As Danny tried to inhale the smoke… he had to couch a bit.
Ember gave a small giggle to see he was trying to smoke "No, you've got to inhale it all the way into your lungs. Like this." she showed him how to smoke a cigarette, taking a drag while breathing in the cigarette smoke before slowly breathing it out.
"Oh… like this?" Danny tried it himself, inhaling the smoke into his lungs before slowly breathing it out.
He was surprised that he didn't coughed at all as he expected him to be coughing all day long or getting sick, instead… he actually like the feeling of relaxation.
Ember shows him an impressive smile "Nice. Not bad for a guy that has never smoked before."
Danny chuckles "Thanks. But… I think I want to ease up a bit with these." He said before taking another drag before slowly breathing it out, finding it now easier to smoke.
Ember stands a bit closer to him, saying with a flirty smile, "That's okay. If you ever need a smoke…" she took a drag "my cigarettes… are yours too…" and breathed out the smoke slowly in Danny's face.
Danny had to blush cause of that "Great. That's… great."
Both stared into each other's eyes for some time while smoking their cigarettes, with both forming a smile.
After sharing a chuckle, Ember says when putting out her cigarette in the ashtray "Okay, well… let's got and see if we can grab a bite on this train."
Danny gave a nod as he too put out his cigarette in the ashtray "Uh… yeah, sure!"
Both then left the smoking cabin and headed to the dining area of the train in the hopes of getting something to eat.
Luckily for them, there was still some lunch being served on at the cafeteria area of the train. When Danny and Ember took their meals, both sat on a table together and began to talk about almost anything.
Ember began to tell him not just about her time in the Resistance, but also told tales about her own crew and how she eventually got promoted to lieutenant.
Danny began to tell Ember more about his life, the parts which she never knew about him: How he became friends with Tucker and Sam, the kinds of vacations he spend with his family, what Christmas is like to celebrate and even about his time at Casper High School.
Neither of them had any idea how much time had passed as before they knew it, dinner was already being served in the cafeteria.
After both took some dinner that was being served, Ember asked Danny while thinking him mentioning about his ex-girlfriend Valerie, "So… you and this Valerie ended because that little 'spark' just vanished?"
Danny shook as they sat down "No, it's not just that." he took a plastic knife and fork as he states, "During that time I had to do a lot of retests to improve my grades, and… Sam was kinda pushing me to keep studying and not spend too much time with Valerie."
Hearing that made Ember frown "Sounds like to me that that hippy was more like keeping you away from your ex."
Danny shrugs "I was thinking that too. But… also because Valerie and her dad were poor and she was working so hard to earn enough money to go to college, we were feeling we were slowly drifting apart. So, when all of it was finally over, we sat down and we… talked over it and…" that memory made him a bit sad "…we decided it was for the best we split." But then Danny shook his head and says with a small smile "But that's all in the past now. And honestly…" he gives her a warm smile "… I'm… really glad that you came into my life, Ember."
Hearing that made Ember blush while forming a sweet smile. Both held hands on the table while looking at each other romantically.
But then Ember got a bit sad and let go of his hand.
"What's wrong?" Danny asked concerned.
Then, as the train appeared to be slowing down, a voice was sounded on the speakers, saying, "Good evening, ladies and gentleman. Our next stop is Kansas City. If you wish to go out for some fresh air, please be back on the train before we resume our journey in 15 minutes and please hold your train ticket with you."
Ember sighs and stands up, telling Danny "I… I'm going out to catch some fresh air."
Danny blinks for a moment confused, but then nods "Uhm… okay. But be sure to be back before they leave, okay?"
"I will." Ember assures him before asking him as she leaves "Please watch over my food while I'm gone."
Danny gave another nod as Ember left. He wasn't sure what was bothering Ember so much, making him think that maybe it was of something wrong he said."
Ember, after getting her train ticket from their cabin, steps out of the train and walks on the platform. She saw a small group of people on a designated part of the platform taking a quick smoke, seeing that it was a place where she could smoke a cigarette without anyone bothering her.
When Ember walked over to them and lighten a new cigarette for herself, she became sad again as she took a drag from her cigarette, not because of being back in her birthplace that wasn't yet destroyed in the nuclear war, but because she remembered herself that Danny would be with someone else in the not so distant future and would be Danielle's mother.
While thinking about this, tears began to form in her eyes, wishing things could be different for her as she'd always loved him back in her own time. And despite her wish coming true that they could be together, yet, she felt it was impossible.
'Fuck!' Ember sadly tells herself mentally 'Why couldn't things be different?! I… I love Danny… I always loved him…! And yet… he's destined to be with a woman that Dani didn't wanted to tell me before I would travel to this fucking time!' she felt a mixture of anger and sadness rising in her 'Dammit, Dani! Why couldn't you just make this easier for me?! FUCK!'
An elderly woman in her 70's, who was also smoking together with the others, had noticed Ember being in her mind and saw her angry/sad expression. Wandering what was bothering her, she walks over to her and asks kindly "Hey, are you okay, dear?"
Though Ember's first response would be to tell this old woman to 'fuck off and mind her own business', she tried to hold herself together to avoid any unwanted attention for hers and Danny's sake. Instead, Ember looks at her before she shook her head "No. I'm not."
Figuring what was bothering her, the old lady asked, "It's about a boy you like, isn't it?"
Hearing that surprised Ember but then shrugs and looks away while taking another drag "What makes you think that?"
The old lady gave a small chuckle as she shrugs "Because I went through the same thing, dear. Nearly 60 years ago I was in love with this boy and it was the time of my life." She then sighs "Unfortunately, he was about to be wedded to some other girl, but I was too afraid to do anything about it as my parents forbade me to ever hang out with him again as it would ruin our family's name." She then shook her head "And… he too was too afraid to stop his arranged marriage."
Ember wasn't feeling any better after hearing this, but shrugs as she took a drag before blowing out the smoke and asks the old lady, "Then what happened? You both went your separate ways?"
The old lady however shook her head again and tells her, "Actually, no." she then gave a sweet smile "We decided to run away together, far away from our oppressive families. We then got married and had a son together."
Ember raised an eyebrow at her "Well, that sounds like a good happy ending for you." but then shook her head as she said with a bit of frustration "But how is that even going to help me?"
The old lady remained calm and said with her sweet voice "All I'm saying is that you shouldn't let the world to decide your fate. Follow your heart."
Though that sounded nice to Ember, she shook her head as her case is far different from this old lady she'd just met, as Danny's fate could decide to fate of the world and all of humanity and her only job is to protect him from the Terminator "Easier said than done. My fucking problem… isn't even as close as what you went through."
The old lady however wasn't feeling insulted at all as she simply shrugs "Of course you're right, my dear. We all have our own different problems to deal with." She then takes a new cigarette as she stumps out hers and says, "I'm just saying that if the opportunity for you lies right in front of your nose, wouldn't you take it?"
That made Ember think as she looks at the old lady. Ember forms a small smile as she shrugs "Maybe…" when seeing that the old lady is having trouble to ignite her lighter, Ember offers hers "Here you go."
"Oh. Thank you, my dear." The old lady says as she took a drag from her newly ignited cigarette. She then chuckles and apologizes "Oh, where are my manners. I've been talking with you for so long that I haven't even introduced myself. I'm… Katherine Robertson-McLain, but my friends call me Kitty."
Seeing that this old lady named Katherine isn't so bad, Ember forms a small smile and tells her own name "I'm Ember. Just Ember."
"Please to meet you, Ember." The old lady named Kitty says.
But as Ember thinks about that name, she got a strange feeling 'McLain?' she then looks at the lady named Kitty 'Hang on a minute… my dad once told me he had a grandmother named Kitty that lived in Kansas City before the war. Could this she be… my great-grandmother?!'
Then the conductor called out loud "All aboard!"
Ember throws her cigarette on the ground and stumps it out "Looks like we need to go back in, huh?" she tells Kitty.
But the old lady named Kitty chuckles as she shook her head "Oh no, I'm just waiting out here till my son picks me up, but thanks for the reminder, my dear. It was nice to talk with you."
"Yeah… me too," Ember nods before heading quickly back to the train "See ya!"
Old Kitty then called to her "Good bye, Ember! Good luck!"
Ember quickly showed her train ticket to the conductor, who gave her a nod and allowed her to enter before he blew a whistle and the train doors closed.
While the train began to move again, Ember walked back to the cafeteria cabin while she was in thought, thinking back what her seemingly great-grandmother just told her 'Hmm. If the chance is opportunity is right in front of me, shouldn't I just take it? But… Danny and I…' as she thought while stepping inside the cafeteria of the train, she spots Danny waving at her while still sitting at the same table. Ember forms a smile and thought while walking back to him 'You know what, grandma Kitty? Maybe you're right. Even if Danny and I aren't meant to be, I'm not going to waste this one moment! I'm going to enjoy every single moment I'll share with him… right now…!'
"You okay?" Danny asks as she sat back at her chair.
Ember nods "Yeah. I just… needed some fresh air. I'm okay now."
"You sure?" Danny asks with some concern as he held her hand again.
Ember forms a blush but then gives him a flirty smile, assuring him "Yeah… I'm sure as hell, Danny."
That made Danny smile in relief. He then offers her her plate of unfinished food "I… kept an eye on it as I promised."
Ember took her plate and began to eat it "Thanks…"
Meanwhile, with the Terminator inside a cheap motel 30 miles east of Amity Park
The Terminator was inside a different motel room than the previous one. It sat at a desk while using small tools to hack into Danny's old cellphone that he took from his room last night.
With its systems telling it that Amity Park has become too dangerous to stay with the increased police patrols in the city after his failure to terminate Danny Fenton at the police station and has likely escaped town, the Terminator decided to stay low from the city and adapts his mission to search and kill the father of the future leader of the Resistance.
While the Terminator's internal systems showed how to hack into the old cellphone, showing all blueprints of the cellphone's designs, there was a knock on the door as a male housekeeper wanted to go in and clean.
"Housekeeping!" the guy called, but hearing no answer while the Terminator kept doing what it was busy with, the man behind the door got impatient "Hey, buddy! Can I come in or what?"
The Terminator glanced at the door, going through its systems to see what answer to give him. It picked out the rude words one of the punk guys gave him a few days back in Columbus, being: FUCK YOU ASSHOLE.
"Fuck you asshole." The cyborg responded.
Though feeling insulted, the male housemaid groans before going to the next room.
As the Terminator focuses back on the old cellphone, it began to turn on. The Terminator then went through anything on it that was useful. It then opened the phonebook on it, revealing his family's old phone numbers and that off his friends, Tucker and Sam, including that of Valerie with a few hearts on it.
The Terminator then went through the old data on the phone, finding over a hundred different pictures, with most of them showing from one year ago, when Danny and Valerie were still dating, showing how close they are and share a few kisses.
With its systems calculating that this person named Valerie could be its way to know Danny's location, the Terminator went through its details files from SkyNet, finding all the information about Valerie Gray, including her current address which is at an apartment in Elmerton.
The Terminator rose up, collected its weapons and headed out, using another stolen car to head towards Elmerton
After 15 minutes of driving, the Terminator arrived in Elmerton and parked the car. It stepped out and headed into the apartment complex where Valerie lives.
Inside the apartment, Valerie was sitting in the living room, being very worried about Danny as she was constantly watching the news for any update and keeping her PDA close to her in case Tucker or anyone else has any news about him.
Valerie's father, Damon Gray, who had been busy with preparing dinner in the small kitchen, walked into the living room, asking his daughter, "Hey, honey, you want some of daddy's hot sauce for your spaghetti? It's your favorite."
But seeing his daughter not answering and was so focused on the tv, Damon sighs and sits next to her, knowing how much Danny meant to her.
"I'm so scared, daddy… that something bad has happened to him!" Valerie says while she looks at her father with tears in her eyes.
Damon embraces her in a comfort hug "I know, honey. I'm worried for Danny as well. But there's nothing we can do at the moment," he takes the remote and turns off the tv "and keeping watching the news all day long is not going to bring him back. All we can do is wait till the authorities know something."
Valerie gave a small nod while wiping away her tears.
Damon then assured his daughter, "He'll be fine. I'm sure of it." he then plants a kiss on her forehead "Now, let's just eat some dinner. You barely ate anything whole day long."
Valerie sighs as her stomach began to growl "Yeah…"
Damon then headed back into the kitchen to check on the food he's preparing on the stove.
Just as Valerie rose up from the couch, there was a knock on the door. Hoping it was either Tucker or Jazz, Valerie rushes to the front door "I'll get it!" but as she answered the door, Valerie was surprised to see a big muscled guy wearing black sunglasses "Who are you?"
The Terminator scanned her and quickly got her identity, making him to break the door open further and draw his gun at her.
Shocked, Valerie backed away into the house "Whoa, whoa, whoa, what the fuck?!" she asked while putting her hands up.
It was at that moment that Damon rushed into the living room after hearing the door crashing open and was shocked to see this man coming in while holding his daughter at gunpoint "Oh my God, what are you doing?! Get that thing away from my daughter!" he demanded before rushing on to the Terminator, attempting to grab the gun out of its hand.. only to get shot in the chest, killing him as he fell to the floor!
"DANNY! OH MY GOD, DADDY!" Valerie cried out as she rushed to him, unknowingly dropping her PDA on the floor. "DADDYYY!" Valerie cried out before the Terminator grabbed her by the hair and threw her across the room, hitting the wall hard while it cracked!
While Valerie groaned in pain, the Terminator pointed his gun at Valerie, aiming its red laser at her head and demanded, "You are Valerie Gray, girlfriend of Danny Fenton. Where is he?"
Valerie wanted to speak, but because of the pain and the trauma of watching her father being killed, she sobs.
The Terminator grabs her by her head, holding it tight, hurting her more and raises her up while presses its gun on her forehead "Where is Danny Fenton?" it demanded again while Valerie screamed in pain.
Valerie shook her head "No… please… don't kill me, please…!"
"Where is he?!" the Terminator demanded again, raising its voice this time.
Valerie kept sobbing, being so scared of her life. She shook her head "I don't… I don't know where he is. I swear…"
With its scanners indicating that Valerie is speaking the truth, the Terminator knew it was a waste of time. The cyborg squeezed the trigger as Valerie's face had a look of pure horror… before the Terminator shot a bullet between her eyes, killing her instantly! It dropped her now dead body on the floor.
The killing cyborg then scanned the apartment for anything useful, spotting the device on the floor, scanning it and identifying it as Valerie's PDA. The Terminator picked it up and pressed a button to see anything useful on it. When it found Danny's number on it, it dialed its number.
After 30 seconds, the Terminator only heard a voicemail.
"Hi! This is Danny Fenton's voicemail. Speak something after the peep."
The Terminator's eyes glow red as it used its inner hacking system to hack the signal to locate Danny Fenton's position and made a weird electronic sound while dozens of number appeared on Valerie's PDA.
In its system, the Terminator managed to locate Danny's phone, finding its location in downtown Chicago.
Seeing that Valerie's PDA might be of use to its mission, the Terminator puts the PDA in its pocket and left the apartment, bypassing a fellow male resident of the apartment complex, looking shocked to see a guy walking out of the Gray family's place with a gun and walked down the stairs.
As the guy looked inside, he was horrified to see Damon and Valerie both lying dead on the ground "JESUS CHRIST!" it the hurried upstairs back to his own house "SOMEBODY CALL 911!"
Meanwhile, the Terminator just walked to its car and got inside before igniting the engine and drove out of the area.
Some time later, back with Danny and Ember in the train
With the clock showing it's 10:30 PM and night began to set in, some people on the train were already going to their cabin to get some good night sleep. Danny and Ember had also returned to their cabin.
After Danny had taken his shower in the bathroom, he came out wearing only his underwear as he didn't had any pajamas to wear. But as he saw the bed that Ember had folded out, he asks her with a raised eyebrow "Hey, uhm… Ember? There's only 1 bed here."
Ember looks at him with a raised eyebrow "Yeah. So?"
Danny felt a bit embarrassed while he deeply blushes "Well, I… uhh… I…"
Ember steps over to him, standing very close in front of him "You don't feel comfortable sharing a bed with me, Danny?" she asks with a flirty smile.
Danny gulps "Uhhh…"
Ember giggles "It's alright. It's only for a few nights, right?"
"Uh, yeah… sure…!" Danny chuckles nervously.
Ember softly stroke his cheek "It's okay. You can just… stay at one side and I'll stay at the other." she then took her pack and lighter "I'm going to take a smoke."
"You're… not going to sleep yet?" Danny asks.
Ember shook his head "Nah. I'm not tired yet. It's alright. You can go and catch some rest. I'll be right back." She plants a kiss on his cheek before walking out of the cabin and closes the door behind her.
Danny was surprised that Ember had just kissed him on the cheek, making him blush "Wow…" he said before giving a dreamy smile. After giving a long sigh, he got into the bed and covered himself with the blanket. Within a minute, he was already fallen into a deep sleep as he was still tired after what happened last night.
Inside the smoking cabin, Ember was in deep thought while smoking a cigarette. As she blew out the smoke, a small smile forms on her face "By now… just this small time I'm spending now with him… is like Heaven, which I never could've imagined…" she then thought back about all the horrors she went through her whole life back in her time "All the death… all the sorrow… destruction… and chaos… I would trade that all in to be with the only guy… I would ever share my feelings with… and protect him with my life…"
She took a final drag and puts her cigarette out in the ashtray while blowing out the smoke.
As Ember steps out of the smoking cabin and is about to head to her and Danny's cabin, she bypassed a few guys that went to get some coffee, with one of them noticing Ember and gave her a wolf whistle "Looking good, honey…!"
Ember gave the guy a glance, seeing it was a middle aged man around his 40's. By just looking at him made Ember sick.
"I could give you a very well time in my cabin, baby." He said with a lustful smirk.
But Ember, being pissed what that pervert told her, flips the bird at him and walks away, ignoring him.
When Ember steps back into her and Danny's cabin and locks the door, she sees him already being asleep. By just seeing him like that, Danny looked really cute in her eyes, even better than whenever she imagined about him back in her time.
She bite her bottom lip as she was about to take off her clothes and lies in bed next to him before covering herself.
$$$$$$ SEXSUAL CONTENT $$$$$$
With an hour having passed, Danny gave a small moan as he lay on his back, being in asleep.
Though Ember have been trying to sleep, the thought of being in bed with Danny was almost too much for her to ignore. And thinking back when Danny accidentally walked inside the bathroom and saw her naked in the shower, made Ember think of something naughty. So, pretending to be in deep sleep. She gave a soft moan before turning herself and embraced Danny.
Feeling someone holding him, Danny slowly opened his sleepy eyes and looks to his left, seeing to his surprise a sleeping Ember holding him "Huh…?" but as he felt something was off, Danny suddenly realized that… Ember was sleeping naked and was now holding onto him 'Is she…?!' when he reaches out his hand, he accidentally touched one of her naked breasts, shocking Danny deeply 'Oh my God! Ember…! She… she's sleeping naked and… is holding on to me!'
Danny blushed deep red, almost as red as a tomato, not knowing what to do.
For some minutes, Danny was still a bit panicked as though he wanted to push Ember away from him, somehow he couldn't as either he felt it was rude or… he actually liked it as a naked girl was holding him.
'What do I do?! What do I do?! What do I do?!' he constantly asked himself mentally.
Ember, still pretending to be asleep, mentally thought with amusement 'Hihihihihi. I wonder what's going on in his mind right now. Probably being a bit panicked as he doesn't know what to do.' She gave a small sigh 'Let's see if he's able to withstand me for long.'
Though Danny tried to maybe just sleep and ignore the naked sleeping Ember holding him, he still couldn't close his eyes as he didn't know what to do.
As Danny began to think back when seeing Ember naked under the shower, having seen her fully naked body… her gorgeous and sexy athletic shaped body… her beautiful c-cup breasts… and her… unshaved vagina…
All these thoughts in his head made Danny's body to react on its own. When looking down, he saw he was having a pitched tent.
'Oh shit…!' Danny cursed himself in his head, feeling totally embarrassed to have an erection with a sleeping Ember in bed.
His hormones were starting to get crazy as he just… couldn't withstand his increasing temptation of giving into his curiosity and desire…
Danny looks at Ember, forming a small smile 'She's so… beautiful.' He then looks at the rest of her body covered by their blanket. He grabbed it… and slowly moved it down 'Maybe… just… a little peek…' as he removed the blanket, he now saw her naked body in full detail.
Danny looked in awe as Ember's body looked so gorgeous in his eyes.
With his right hand shaking as he reached out to her, Danny's thoughts were going crazy 'Oh God… Oh God, what the hell are you doing, Danny Fenton?'. But as he placed his hand on her left breast, Danny gave a gasp as he felt how… nice and soft Ember's breast feels like 'I'm touching her breast…! I'm touching a girl's breasts! It's… wow… it feels… so nice and… soft…'
As began to massage Ember's breast, Ember herself, still trying to pretend to sleep, felt that her desire was getting the best of her 'He's touching me…! Danny's is touching me! Oh God… this is… so… good…' a small moan escaped her mouth, feeling turned on by Danny touching her breast.
Danny gave a long sigh as he kept touching her breast. Slowly, he pushed Ember a bit from him so she would lay on her back. Together with his other hand, Danny now touched both of Ember's breasts. Danny bite his lip as he couldn't stop himself anymore from continuing touching her, even twisting her nipples a bit.
Ember gave began to moan more because of the continuing stimulation "Mmmmm… Mmmmm… Ahhhhh…"
Danny held his eyes shut tight, wanting to stop, but couldn't as it was too much to ignore 'I'm sorry, Ember… I just… can't stop!' Danny then looked down at her unshaved pussy 'I want to know how… a girl's vagina feels like…' he slowly reached his right hand down.
Feeling where his hand was going, Ember bites her bottom lip and peeks by opening her eyes, seeing him reaching his hand down to her slit.
When his hand made contact with gentile, Danny's eyes went wide to feel a girl's vagina 'So this is how a vagina feels like…?' he began slowly stroke it, feeling the labia and bits of her clitoris 'Oh… wow…! I can't believe that I… oh fuck…!'
"Mmmm…!" Ember moaned, not being able to withstand it "Oh, Danny…"
When hearing her speaking his name, Danny instantly froze in shock. 'OH SHIT! OH SHIT! OH SHIT! SHE'S AWAKE! SHE'S GONNA KILL ME FOR SURE!' he panicked in his head, feeling that maybe Ember was going to beat him up bad for touching her in her sleep.
"Why did you stop…?" Ember softly asks.
Danny looks surprised as he looks up at her face, seeing Ember's sweet face, showing desire. Danny blinks his eyes, not believing what he was seeing that Ember was… desiring more and… gave him the look of approval…
Ember gave a long sigh, showing a face of love "If you want to touch me… it's okay… I don't mind it at all, Danny…"
Danny felt not only relief, but a new wave of increasing hormones flowing through him "So… I can…?" he softly asks.
Ember nods "Yes…"
Danny, acting on instinct, resumed slowly touching Ember's breasts slowly and paid close attention to her nipples.
"Mmmm… Mmmm… Oh fuck… yes. Mmm… Danny… fuck…" Ember moaned in pleasure, enjoying Danny touching her.
Danny, enjoying her moans, went further down his right hand and began rubbing her stomach… until stopping at her pussy, shocking him a bit as he felt she was getting wet.
'Oh my… holy shit. So, this is what a girl's… wet pussy feels like? Oh shit, it feels so… good.' Danny thought as he rubbed her pussy with 2 fingers, stroking over her wet labia and touched her clitoris.
"Oh, yes…! Yes, Danny…! Oh fuck… yes…!"
With his hormones desiring to feel more of her inside, Danny slowly penetrated his fingers inside her wet pussy. Feeling the inside of her vagina, made Danny's mind to go crazy. For the first time ever he was fingering another girl and she doesn't even mind it at all. He felt like he was living the ultimate teenage boy dream.
As he fingered her so good, Ember's moans began to increase "Uhh… uhhh. Ahhh. Mmmaahhh… Yes…! Ooooh fuck, Danny…! Yes… fuck me. Please, fuck me! Ahhhh…!" her hips began to move a bit on her own, responding to her increasing pleasure.
Danny continued fingering Ember's pussy while rubbing her right breast faster 'This is amazing… This is fucking amazing!' Danny mentally thought.
"Yes…! Oh yes! Yes! Yes, Danny! Ooooh yes, fuck me! Fuck me hard! Aahhhh!" Ember moaned even louder.
"Oh, Ember…!" Danny gave a soft moan, feeling turned on by just hearing Ember moan like that. No longer being able to hold in, he leaned in and sucked on her right nipple while still fingering her deep and fast.
"Yes! Oooooh Yes! YES! AAAHH! AAAAAHHH!" Ember moans in ecstasy, having completely surrendered to him pleasuring her.
In his mind, Danny thought 'She's getting even more turned on and more wet… Does that mean she's going to… climax?' relying on his instinct fully, he stops sucking her nipple and fingered her even faster, seeing drops of her juices splattering around.
"YES! YES! AHHH! FUUUCK! AAH! AAAAH! AAAH! AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Ember moans out loud before she climaxes hard on the bed and on Danny's hand and fingers, sending her juices nearly on the other half of the bed as she rode off her orgasm "Ahhh…! Ahh… Ohh fuuuuck… Ahhh… Ahhh…" exhausted, she panted.
Danny just blinks, not believing that he'd just made a girl climax "Ohh… wow…" he simply said before slowly moving his fingers out of her vagina, seeing it was soaking wet of Ember's juices. He looks at it with fascination "Holy… fuck…" being curious, he licks his fingers, tasting her, finding it tasting… sweet.
Ember, while recovering from her amazing orgasm, looks at Danny with a face of love. Seeing him tasting her juices made her form a small smile and asks him, "Tell me… How do you like my juices…?"
"Well, it…" Danny tried to say before answering "tastes… good."
Ember smiles at him "I figured…" she then grabbed his wet hand and licked his fingers, tasting her own juices.
Seeing Ember so lustful made Danny nearly go crazy in his head.
Ember gave a giggle as his facial expression looked so funny to her. She then asks with a grin on her face "I bet you're not shy anymore to share a bed with me now, huh?"
Danny gave a bit of nervous chuckle before he shook his head "No… I… guess not."
"Good." Ember then moves closer to him and takes the blanket, covering them both. She then embraced him before saying softly "Goodnight, Danny…"
Danny, not feeling this nervous anymore, smiles and says, "Goodnight… Ember…" and kisses her on her forehead and returned her embrace.
In her mind, Ember hoped that maybe Danny wanted to continue, but after a few minutes when she realized that he'd now really fallen asleep deeply, she forms a small smile as she closes her eyes, going to sleep too 'Ah well… Maybe next time…'

A few hours later, in the middle of Chicago
In the middle of the night, the Terminator had arrived in downtown Chicago, following where the signal of Danny's PDA lead it too. When using its scanners, the Terminator drove into a street but was somewhat confused as though the signal lead it to this partly emptied street, it didn't sensed its target.
Then, as the Terminator sensed the signal of Danny's PDA came from a dumpster, it stepped out of its car and walked over to it. With its bare hands, the cyborg ripped apart the trash container, letting all sorts of trash and rotten food spread over the ground.
The Terminator then found Danny's PDA in the trash. It grabbed it while scanning it. The killer cyborg knew now that its mission has become even more harder. As it scanned the area for a moment, it dropped Danny's PDA before walking back to its car and drove out of the area to think its next step to complete its mission.
A/N: Alright! Chapter number 3 is finished!
It would make more sense for Danny and Ember to leave Amity Park as far away as possible to prevent the Terminator from finding them, and seeing that the first Terminator movies took place in Los Angeles, it would make sense for Danny and Ember to hide in that city.
And having Kitty to be Ember's great-grandmother giving her advice on she shouldn't give up on the boy she loves was a nice edition to the story, as I might say. ;)
I know, I know. Killing off Valerie and her dad seemed wrong, but since the Terminator has no single remorse or sympathy and also because Danny and Valerie used to be so close, it would make a lot of sense as well that the cyborg from the future would go after her just to find Danny and kill him.
But I can't take all the credit as my good friend WolveHulk has helped me greatly with several ideas and some dialogues. So be sure to give him a big thumps up.
So now with Danny and Ember hiding to Los Angeles by train, what more will be 'blossoming' between them while hiding for the Terminator?
Find out in the next chapter which I'll be working on very soon! Be sure to leave a like and review and I'll see you people next time.
Catcha later!
