The Crew of the Dog was sailing along as they headed towards their next island, with Medaka at the helm. "So where are we going?" Medaka asked Nami, who stood next to her.
"Benisu Island, we have a treasure map that leads us there," Nami said as she showed the young girl how they were heading.
Luffy looked over and smiled as he looked down at his crew as they moved around.
Zoro was teaching Koby as Doll and Kuina were below deck, taking stock of what they had with Hiyori.
Kikunojo was working on the sails with Yamato, while Ulit checked the cannons and ensured they were in working order.
"How is your training with Doll going?" Luffy asked her as Medaka looked over to him.
"She taught me how to use Ki, and she said tomorrow she will start to teach on the Tang Sect Techniques," Medaka told her captain, who nodded.
"Good," He said before something caught his eye.
It was a falcon.
"What is it?" Nami asked him as he held his arm out as the falcon landed on it.
"It's one of my Dad's falcons," Luffy said as he saw it had a letter and a vial. "Kiku," The rubber person called out as the tailor turned to him before seeing the vial in his hands.
"Is that?" He asked as he walked over.
"Yep, straight from Emporio Ivankov," Luffy said as he handed it over to Kikunojo.
They took it into their hands before they downed it, and their body started to change.
Kikunojo was now a young woman with a slender build, even more so than before. She stayed at the sight height while her skin became smothered and her hair became straighter. Two mounds formed on her chest, and she no longer felt anything between her legs.
She smiled at her new body before bowing to Luffy. "Thank you so much for this," she told her captain.
"It's fine, Kiku," Luffy told her as she nodded at him.
Yamato walked above deck and looked at Luffy. "We've got enough food for about two weeks," she told him as the rubber man nodded.
"That's good to know," he told her. She looked at Kiku and smiled at her, and the two started talking.
"So what is our heading?" Doll asked as she walked above and looked at Luffy.
"Devil's Ridge, they have the treasure of Sky Dragon Zotani," Nami said as Medaka turned their head slightly and looked at her.
"Sky Dragon Zotani?" She asked.
"Sky Dragon Zotani was a woman who had eaten a Devil Fruit, the Hebi Hebi no Mi Model: Quetzalcoatl," Doll explained to Medaka, who nodded at her, "Zotani was a woman who travelled the world, and when she came to the East Blue, she tried to fight someone, I can't remember who she fought, she but fell ill and so alone, she travelled to Deviul's Ridge and hid her treasure, and it is unknown to what has happened to her Devil Fruit," She added as Medaka nodded.
The young girl turned the helm once more before they could see the island coming up. "So that's Devil's Ridge," Luffy said as he looked at Medaka. "You know what we call out?" he asked her as she looked at him before her eyes shot wide.
"Land, Oh!" Medaka yelled as the crew stopped what they were doing and rushed to the ship's bow.
Luffy and Nami smiled as they looked at the approaching island.
Far behind his grandson, Garp was on his ship, looking at the paperwork they had gotten from Morgan.
"How bad is it?" Bogard asked the man.
"Sakazuki has control of people in all of the Blues, and taking them out is going to be hard," Garp told him as he looked at the paperwork. "Sakazuki is ensuring that everyone knows that absolute justice is the only type that needs to be enforced in the world," he added.
"Is your son's forces working in tandem with us as we leave each island?" Bogard asked as he picked up a report.
"Thankfully, yes, and Luffy is doing that as well," he told Bogard, who looked confused. "Luffy has someone on his crew who wants to draw a map of the world, so Luffy is travelling from island to island; his crew is growing in strength and teamwork, and when the time comes for them to enter the Grand Line, they will be strong enough to be like Roger," Garp added as Bogard nodded at him.
"Right," He said as a crash was heard, and Bogard sighed. "I'll go deal with it," Bodard said as he walked out to see what the crash was.
Back on Devil's Ridge, Doll was walking with Medaka. "Okay, we're hunting some boars, and animals are the best when it comes to training, as they are wild and can hide their presence," Doll told her. Medaka nodded, and then a sound came behind them as the girl spun around and readied her Naginata.
A boar burst out of the ground and rushed at her. "Typhoon Dragon," Medaka called out as she spun around her Naginata, which hit the boar.
The boar was knocked back before it squealed and rushed at Medaka again.
Energy started and then formed around Medaka. As she rushed forward, she called out, "Exploding Dragon," as the Naginata blade pierced the boar's head, killing it.
Medaka started to shake as Doll walked over and touched her shoulder. "I know," was all the woman said before Medaka hugged the Cerberus woman.
"Why did we have to?" Medaka asked the woman.
Doll looked at the young girl, "When I was in the Marines, I had asked my commander this question once, and she told me this: 'To take a life is a horrible thing, but there are times when it is needed, but you will always have to know one thing, and that one thing is that life is hard, one must but pick on what they want to be," She told Medaka who nodded at her. "To become a monster or a soldier, and it is up to you to know what the difference is between the two'," Doll explained to her.
"What's the difference?" Medaka asked the woman.
"A monster kills without need or want for others, while a soldier kills to protect others; you must know what you want to be," Doll told her as Medaka nodded at her.
"I shall be a soldier in the service of Luffy, for when he becomes the King of Pirates, I shall become one of his soldiers," Medaka told Doll, who smiled at her.
"Raimei Hakke/First Form: Thunderclap and Flash/Kuzurisaikuron," Yamato, Kiku, and Kuina take out three more boars.
Medaka looked at the three women as they dealt with the other boars and then nodded to herself, "I have to be like that one day," She thought.
On another part of the island, Luffy and Nami were walking around before they came across someone.
When she saw the two, she looked at them. They were a woman with red hair who had combed back with an eye patch over her right eye. She had no shirt but had bandages wrapped around her chest to cover her breasts, along with black pants with a belt and armoured boots.
"Oh! You made me jump. I'm Martha the Fierce. You don't plan to rob or shoot me, do you? Honest?" The woman yelled at them as both Luffy and Nami looked at the woman with Nami raising a brow.
"So... Martha the Fierce?" She asked with a raised brow as Martha looked off to the side.
"Yes, that's what they call me. I think it's a bit of a joke, actually.," Martha said before a bird's song filled the air. "AAARGH! Sorry, I heard a bird chirping. Thought it might be a skeleton." She said as Luffy narrowed his eyes.
"You don't have to be afraid," He told Martha as she looked at him like he was crazy.
"I disagree. People make fun of me for being... Did you just see a skeleton? Or was it just a chicken?" She said before Luffy looked over and narrowed his eyes. As he did, he saw a bony hand retreat into the forest. "Anyway, for being a coward. But I'm still alive!" Martha said with Nami letting out a sigh.
"What made you choose this island?" She asked the woman, who looked at Nami like she was crazy.
"This island's perfect... because Wild Henry isn't on it," Martha said as Luffy narrowed his eyes.
"Wild Henry?" Luffy asked before steps behind him, and he turned to see Zoro and Koby walking up to him. "Koby, do you know who Wild Henry is?" he asked the teen.
"Wild Henry, Pirate, last surviving member of the Dark King Pirates, ate the Necro Necro no Mi," Koby said as Marth nodded with the pink-haired teen.
"That's him. The man makes me jump out of my skin, always ranting and barking. Also, I can see pirates coming before they get me!" Martha said before she looked off to the side and screamed. AAAGH! Oh, false alarm. I thought I saw a Skeleton, but it was just the shadow of that tree." She said before, and out of the shadow stepped a skeleton.
It was dressed in armour with a sabre.
"Well that's new," Zoro said as he unsheathed his swords.
Luffy said nothing as he got ready to punch the skeleton. "Now, now, there's no need for that," a male voice said as they turned to see an old man with a balding head and thick beard.
He had a grey shirt and black pants with thick black boots.
"Wild Henry?" Luffy asked as the man nodded.
"That's me, lad, and to think that I would find you here, Martha," Henry said as he looked at Martha, who was shaking in fear. "I want what is mine back, my treasure," He told Martha.
Nami looked between them, "You're after the treasure of Sky Dragon Zotani?" She asked the two.
"Oh yes, before I created my own, I was on her crew, you see, but this little thing, who was part of my crew, stole the treasure that we had collected, so I am here to get it back," Henry told her before he looked at Martha. "So where is it?" he asked her.
Martha could say nothing before Henry grew tired; he said one word as the ground between them started to shake, "Stand Up," Henry ordered as skeletons began to crawl out of the ground with glowing green eyes.
Each of the skeletons had weapons and armour of many kinds.
"Now then, all I want is my treasure back, is that to-," Henry said before a charging Ulti in her full Pachycephalosaurus form rammed through many skeletons.
Yamato rushed in and knocked away some more skeletons broken into fragments scattered around the place.
"Shinkū Budda-giri," An energy slash travelled through the air that cut through some more skeletons.
"Tatsu Maki," Zoro called out as he spun around, making a tornado that cut up some skeletons.
"Hel Hammer," Doll yelled as she came from above the forest and then slammed down onto the ground, and the ground shifted, destroying more skeletons.
"First Form: Thunderclap and Flash, Sixfold," Kiku called out next as she zipped across the ground and cut down skeletons.
Koby moved his hands into three forms before he pulled out a kunai, "Ninja Art: Wind Scythe Jutsu," He called out as he slashed at the air, sending out a blade of wind that cut down some more skeletons.
Hiyori rushed up to a group of skeletons and shoved her hand into one of them's ribs before forming a blade of flames. It turned into a beam, "Iai Hand-Sword: Fourth Form: Red Sun," Hiyori called out as she stood ready to fight again.
"Exploding Dragon," Medaka yelled as she burst through the tree line.
"Raimei Hakke," Yamato yelled as she shot out of the forest and knocked down some more skeletons.
Henry looked at the crew as they decimated his forces like they were nothing.
"WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED!?" Henry asked. He looked shocked, and his skeletons were wiped out and destroyed as they littered the ground.
"Simple, you messed with the wrong crew," Zoro said as Luffy walked up to him and cocked back his arm.
He then stretched his arms behind him, "Gum-Gum Bazooka," Luffy called out before he sent Henry flying off the island.
Henry crossed the land, and he landed deep within the water.
He looked at the sky. The Marines pulled him onboard a ship before they walked him up to a tall man with a muscular chest. His dark-blonde hair was tied in a ponytail, revealing his forehead. He had a prominent chin with an x-shaped scar on the left side and a sharp nose pointing downwards. He wore a dark red suit, a lighter red shirt underneath, a black tie, and a Marine jacket draped over his shoulders like a cape.
"Commodore Kibin, this is Wild Henry, a pirate with a fifty-five million beli bounty," A marine said as the commodore raised a brow before he smiled.
"Does he have a Devil Fruit?" Kibin asked as one of his men nodded at him.
"Yes, sir, he has the Necro Necro no Mi; it allows the user to call the dead to the user's aid, be it crops or skeletons," A woman said as Kibin smiled.
"Good, do we know what form this Devil Fruit takes?" Kibin asked as the woman nodded.
"Yes sir, a bell pepper," The woman said as Kibin turned to his men.
"Gather all bell peppers on board, then execute him," Kibin yelled out as they all rushed around. They gathered bell peppers on board and raised their guns towards Henry.
"Ready...Fire!" Kiban yelled out as every Marine took aim and shot Henry dead. One of the peppers shook, and swirls and spirals formed over a yellow one. It turned into bone white and looked almost like a skill. "This will work for him," The Marine Commodore said as he picked up the Devil Fruit.
And he smiled at it.
Back on Devil's Ridge, Luffy and his crew walked around, eventually reaching a mountain, with Nami leading the crew up.
"Well that was something," Zoro said as he looked off in the direction where Henry flew.
"That just shows Luffy's strength," Ulti said as they walked up the side before they found a large round door with a keyhole in the side of the wall.
"We don't have a key," Koby said as Yamato and Doll stepped up and turned into their hybrid form.
Hyori walked over to the door, and as she gained scales from her arm, she called out, "Fire Dragon's Fang Trust. "Flames formed around her hands, and flames formed a lizard's head before she thrust her hands into the door with Shigan.
Doll and Yamato let ice form and spread out as they met with the flames before the door broke from the two temperatures it had endured.
When the door was pulled away from the mountainside, they removed the remaining part of the door. That was where they found a massive pile of gold, silver, jewels, jewellery, and other forms of wealth. There were other chests with overflowing treasure and even two locked chests with keys in their keyholes, ready to be turned.
There were also many weapons, including swords of various types, spears, bows with arrows, and crossbows.
There were boxes of cannon balls with different colours, along with barrels of black powder and cannons.
There were three types of them.
The first was a black iron cannon with a dragon's mouth.
The second cannon looked to be held up by golden skeletons.
And the last one looked to have a wolf's head at the end of the last cannon.
Some books were stacked on each other with boxes of what looked to be scrolls.
There were boxes of kunai and shuriken.
Then, maps and papers were blown around by the wind that had come in through the door's opening.
Kuina and Koby walked forward until they opened the chests, needed them, and found two Devil Fruits within.
The first looked like an avocado, the top of which resembled a dragon's head. At the same time, the other was a massive crimson chilly pepper whose stem resembled an outstretched hand.
"Do we know what these fruits are?" Nami asked as she looked at them.
Koby looked off to the side before he found a book, the Devil Fruit Encyclopedia. He opened it and started to flick through it.
"Right, the avocado is a Zoan-type Devil, Ryū Ryū no Mi, Model: Bahamut; it gives the ability to breathe all elements," Koby said as he turned the pages until he found the other Devil Fruit. "The chilly is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit, the Taiyo Taiyo no Mi, allowing the user to control solar fire and become a Sun Human," he added as they looked at the fruits.
"So this is the treasure of Sky Dragon Zotani, and I have to say I was expecting her Devil Fruit," Ulti said as she looked around.
The crew started bringing all the treasure down to the Dog as they looked around, "How much would this all cost if we still have the things we don't need?" Medaka asked Nami and Hyori as both women looked at her before they looked at the treasure. They narrowed their eyes before they looked at each other with narrowed eyes as if speaking with thoughts.
And then they nodded at each other.
"Around a couple million Belly, at best guess I would say ten mil or maybe twenty mil," Nami said as the others looked shocked.
"With the amount that we have already that would be, well, alot, and to think that was only because of the Peace Bounty that we had gotten," Kuina said as she started to do maths in her head. "And if we go with the minimum amount, we should have left 395,000,000 Beli, but if we continue to go after the other treasure maps that lead to within the East Blue, we could hopefully get at least a billion Beli if not more," She added as the others looked at her with amazement.
"We'll be able to get more improvements to the Dog with that much," Luffy said as the others looked at him before they began to think.
"We could add more cannons with that amount," Ulti said as the others nodded at her.
"Hell we can even buy a used Marine ship, they only cost about nineteen million Beli," Doll said as the others looked at her. "It would be big enough for us, and they are still sturdy, along with, if I'm right, a Shipwright in the Geco Islands has the Mix Mix no Mi, and we can fuse the Dog along with the bought Marine Ship," She added as Nami rubbed her chin.
"Do you think we'll have to pay them to fuse the Dog with the ship?" Nami asked the Cerberus woman, who nodded.
"I would think so, a Devil Fruit like that would make the user want to sell for the use of their power to fuse things," Ulti said as she lifted a box of cannon balls. "And with the three cannons are rear cannons; the first is known as an Ashen Dragon Cannon. They have the capability to set cannon balls on fire," She said as they looked at the cannon with the dragon head.
She then turned to the second cannon, "The second cannon is known as the Royal Revenge Cannon; it has more bast power than regular cannons and less black powder usage," She told them as they looked at her with a nod. "And the last cannon is called Graveyard Gladiator Cannon, and they are known to shoot, and I mean this, hollow explosive cannon balls that hold something within the cannonball that released a second explosion upon contact with the target," Ulti told them as they looked at her.
"Do we have those types of cannonballs?" Doll asked the woman who looked at the box.
"I think so, but if not, it is not that difficult to make them," Ulti said as they looked at her.
"Do you know the way to make them?" Hiyori asked her as they got the treasure below deck.
"Oh yeah, I just need to melt inside of a cannonball before a fuse is placed within, along with something that acts as shrapnel," Ulti said as they nodded at her.
They continued moving things down from the treasure room to the Dog before they looked at the map. "So Nami, what is the next island?" Luffy asked the orange-haired woman who was looking at a map of the Fire Islands.
"Were heading towards Benisu Island next," Nami told them as they nodded at her before the Dog was steered away from the shore and out to sea.
Within a cave on Benisu Island, some slavers laughed as they drank with each other.
"And who would think that we managed to get three of them?" One of the slavers asked.
"And who would that one of them be one of THEM?" Another slaver said as he took a massive swig of a drink.
Over in a cage were three women with torn clothes and what looked like a smashed fishbowl.
The first was a tall woman with fiery pink hair and large pink eyes. The man was dressed in a dark red cleavage-revealing flamenco dress with white frills, but her dress was torn up, a green sash that she used as a belt with a large red rose on her hip and hot pink shoes. She also wore a gold headband and a silver emerald necklace that matched her diamond-shaped emerald earrings.
The second was a relatively tall, slender woman with put-back blonde hair and only two parts hanging in front. She had brown eyes and wore light red lipstick. She wore a reddish-pink sleeveless dress that showed off her cleavage, which was torn up the side.
The last was a tall woman with dirty blond hair and a ripped, white outfit with flowers depicted over it.
The last woman looked shocked before she looked at one of the men who had put her in the cage.
The man was a large man with long muscles, white hair, and a massive sword.
"Thanks for that; the bitch just needs to be taught her place, thinking that those so-called gods that they are human like the rest of us," The man said as he looked at the blond, who flinched at the look the man gave her. "And I can't wait to remind her that she is no god, but just a slut that needs a good bit of training," He said as he looked the woman in the eye.
The blonde looked at him, and she did something she had never thought she would do.
She started to pray.
"Someone, please, save me," She chanted repeatedly.
Hoping that someone would come.
And then she blinked as a sound formed within her head.
It sounded like a drumbeat.
