Prologue: The Falling of Stars
Starscream was on the balcony, his red optics looking out upon Vos, the city he grew up in and would become the ruler of in some distant day. He still had a lot to learn till he could rule over the beautiful city and it's tall towers where most flying alt-mode Cybertronians come from, though it was mainly of the seeker verity.
He looked behind him to be met with two little blue optics staring at him. He could never forget those blue optics. They did belong to the child of his that looked the most like him.
The young seeker, walked over to him, wings held heigh in joy to see her creator. She chirped at him before he hugged her.
"How are you doing my little Starshooter?" Starscream said, getting a giggle from the young seeker. "You should be sleeping right now, shouldn't you?"
He heard the familiar pede steps of his eldest daughter, and his only other child, walking closer to where Starscream was.
When she did come around the corner and to the balcony, Starscream could tell how tired she was, she must have snuck out again last cycle to go to one of those gladiator fights since she had a new cut across her shoulder that had been repaired quite recently.
She yawned and stretched her wings out, her faceplate being damaged from a gladiator fight many vorns ago. Which she covered up pretty good for the most part. She still had bits of cheap black paint on her, making her look even more sloppy and less like a noble and more of someone of the lower class.
"Sorry about letting her leave," Jetracer said, reaching to grab Starshooter from her father's servos. "Sleep is important you know"
"Thats bold coming from you," Starscream said to the taller seeker, looking into her orange optics. "And I don't mind Starshooter being here with me, you should get some rest Jet."
Jetracer nodded and started to walk away, her pale and scarred frame walking towards the door that led inside.
A loud boom came from somewhere else, shaking the building they were on.
Before Starscream could think, Jetracer jumped to cover him with her body, her frame was naturally larger than Starscream's.
The tall tower started to crumble down as Jetracer protected her creator and younger sister with her own body.
…
Knockout had been at his place when he heard the news about an explosion happening in Vos, he and Breakdown had decided to help any of the survivors from the events.
When they got there, they had seen a crowd of others doing the same thing, so they decided to go farther in.
Knockout and Breakdown headed towards where the tallest tower had stood, now crumbled to the ground and reduced to rubble. Knockout would have loved to see it still standing tall like it was before this disaster.
"Do you hear that..?" Breakdown said, turning his head towards a larger pile of rubble. "Anyone there!" He shouted, a loud groaning noise was the response he was given.
The two rushed over to see who was there. They started by moving some bigger pieces of rubble before being met by orange optics and a pale face that could only belong to one gladiator.
Foulplay, a ruthless killing machine in the arena. Though she lacked her iconic black paint job that had seemingly been scratched off, but he couldn't tell what colour it was now due to the lighting and dust in the air.
"Can you get some stuff of me Kout..?" She asked, her arms appeared to be protecting something that Knockout couldn't see. "Don't question the paint job right now, just have to figure out what happened first."
Breakdown nodded and started taking the rubble off her back, placing it to the side. Once Foulplay was more in view, Knockout could see that their black paint job had been replaced by a blue and white one.
Once she stood up, she revealed to have protected the heir of Vos and one of his children who was hidden from the public. But why was Foulplay here?
"What just happened?!" Starscream damanded from one of the two strangers in front of him. "And how do you know them Jetracer?" He then questioned Foulplay. "And why are they calling you Foulplay?!"
"Because she is the great and amazing Foulplay, a gladiator of Kaon, of course!" Knockout responded, looking back at one of his closer friends. "Why are you calling her Jetracer?"
"My actual name is Jetracer," Foulplay/Jetracer said, explaining a few things first to Knockout and Breakdown. "And Foulplay is my gladiator name."
Knockout stood there shocked, she hadn't even told him how gorgeous her ACTUAL paint job was! From the pretty blues to soft off-whites, she looked like someone had taken something as deadly as snow and ice and turned it into such a masterpiece. Her ever warm orange optics were settled on the little seeker behind Starscream. A mini him but with different frame type and rather than red optics, she had blue optics.
Blue optics that looked at Knockout with curiosity as she clung to one of the servos of the seeker who mentored them. One of her wings was higher up than the other, Knockouts spark felt like it was about to melt from all the cuteness.
"Kout and Breakdown, meet Starscream and my little sister, Starshooter," she said, Knockout had been friends with royalty this whole time, and he didn't even KNOW, now that was going to be something he could brag about. "Starshooter and Starscream, meet Knockout and Breakdown."
"Pleasure to meet you two," Breakdown said, "I never knew you were royalty Foulp- I mean Jetracer."
"You can still call me Foulplay if you want," Jetracer said, Knockout spotting some energon on her back and shoulder. "Let's just get out of here before who ever just blew up our home comes after us."
She held a servo onto her shoulder and started to follow Knockout as he led the five of them out of the destroyed palace, Breakdown taking the rear and preparing to take more Vosians into their little group out of the destroyed city.
…
Ultra Magnus had been tasked the ever cruel job of having to destroy Vos and its residents.
The excuse was that war frames had taken over the city and planned to do so to other cities.
Though it was a common fact that seekers had lived there. A war frame that they were tasked to eradicate. His co-workers had been over joyed for the job, unlike Ultra Magnus was.
He felt something bump into his pede, he looked at what or who it was.
A small seeker looked up at him. Blue optics looking at him with confusion and fear. It's wings drooping down significantly, making itself smaller.
A much larger seeker, who appeared to be bleeding out from its shoulder came and tackled Ultra Magnus. Causing him to painfully crash into the ground beneath him as the larger Cybertronian was on top of him. Its battle mask was on and he had a hard time seeing its face from the angle he was at. As warm orange optics stared at him with rage.
Ultra Magnus transformed his servo into a blaster and pointed it up at the large seeker. He prepared to fire, he heard pede steps coming closer to him, most likely his own teammates, who would most certainly have trouble with a large seeker he was dealing with right now.
"Jet, I think you should get off of whoever that is," said a kind and calm voice, one that didn't belong to any of his comrades. "Unless, whoever it is, is the one who destroyed your city."
The large seeker took Ultra Magnus' servo that he had transformed into a blaster, and crushed it with ease before getting up and picking up the little seeker. Who looked terrified.
"If you try to pull a stunt like that," the larger Cybertronian said, motioning to his, now destroyed, servo. "I will not hesitate to do more harm than that."
Then they were gone as soon as they had come, to never meet again…
Right..?
