"The egg from the Chao Garden. It's hatching." Shadow said excited making Maria surprised.
A few weeks ago, Shadow had visited a Chao Garden and it had given him an egg making him surprised by this so when he'd gotten home, he'd only told Maria so she'd made an incubator for the egg explaining to Shadow about how this would help the being inside to hatch and it was like they were parents making Shadow blush at this. "I'm coming Shadow and can't wait to meet the Chao baby." Maria told him.
They'd put the incubator in Shadow's room since he knew aboutvChao but he'd been teaching Maria which made her happy but saw the egg moving about as they we're encouraging it until it finally hatched and a lil black Chao that had green eyes full of curiousity looked at them making Maria find it adorable naming their lil Chao baby, Shads making it giggle at this.
"Just like you, when we first met. Only we should get it a bottle like any baby." Maria said going to do that seeing a frown on Shad's lil face. "It's okay, Maria will be back and I get like that too when she goes anywhere without me." Shadow reassured him seeing Maria return with a tiny bottle of milk seeing Shads happy as they were feeding him then burping him gently hearing him yawning guessing all this excitement made him sleepy as Maria kissed his lil head.
"So, Maria tells me you guys have a baby. Is it like you." Stone asked making Shadow embarrassed
He then explained to him, making him get it finding it cute. That relieved Shadow quite a bit as he was having coffee with Stone but hoped Shads was okay as he'd been quiet since they'd put him down for an nap seeing Maria go check on him seeing he was still sleeping which surprised them. "If he doesn't wake up soon, he'll be up allnight." Maria said.
Later that night, Shadow heard Shads up while he'd been reading books but put the infant Chao in a pouch that was like a baby carrier activating his wings making Shads in awe as they flew off into the night…
