Inside the gummi ship, there were four seats. Two in the front and two in the back. Chip and Dale, the chipmunks would be their guides to help them on their way. They were in the World Map, a place where they could see all of the worlds. However there was only one that appeared.
"Only one?" Sora exclaimed, learning forward in his seat. "That's no good!" Donald said. "What're we gonna do now?" Advin asked. "Wait, I think it's a world that we know," Goofy said, recognizing the world that they saw. It was none other than Hollow Bastion, a world that they were familiar with.
They landed there and they got off the gummi ship. They were in the Marketplace of the world, looking around. "It's Hollow Bastion," Sora said excitedly. "Wow, it feels like forever since we've been here," Advin said, unable to stop smiling. "Gawrsh, it looks different," Goofy pointed out. "I hope Leon and the gang are doing okay," Donald wondered.
Then, Goofy saw some Soldier Heartless on the roof of a nearby building, showing that they were in this world for a reason. "Uh oh, looks like we're gonna have to do some fightin'," he told them, getting them to nod. They walk through the Marketplace and make it to the Burrow.
They were stopped by a sudden odd light pedestal that appeared and disappeared, as if it was scanning for something. It made them jump back a bit. "Hey, what's going on?" Donald asked. "That's the town's defense mechanism!" a familiar female voice called from above them. They all look up and saw the face of their friend Yuffi, standing on top of a building, with a proud smile on her face. She was wearing all black.
"Yuffi!" both Sora and Advin shouted when they saw her. Yuffie gave them a wave, but their introduction didn't last for long because she saw something coming up behind them. "Look out!" she warned them, making them jump back when a Dusk Nobody ambushed them. Their Keyblades appeared in their hands. Soon the group was surrounded by them.
They managed to take down all of the Nobodies without much of an issue.
"Hey, you guys!" Yuffie called out, hopping down to them. "I see you're still in top form," she said eagerly, smiling at them. "You're not so bad yourself, Yuffi," Advin said with a grin. "Yeah, what'd you expect?" Sora said, patting his chest. "Well, what'd YOU two expect?" Yuffi giggled. "How're the others?" Donald asked. "Great!" Yuffi exclaimed happily.
"Hey, Yuffie, have you seen the King and Riku?" Sora asked the black-haired girl. "Nope!" she said confidently, making Sora and Advin groan in defeat. She started towards Merlin the wizard's house before turning around on her heels. "But I had a feeling I'd see you guys again," she said, still smiling. Sora looked over at his sister before he started to imitate Leon, their other friend, "We may never meet again, but we'll never forget each other,"
"Is that supposed to be Leon?" Yuffi asked, making Advin, Donald, and Goofy laugh. His imitation of Leon was pretty funny to them. "So what's new, Yuffi? Anything happening at Merlin's?" Advin asked her eagerly. "Yeah, everyone's working on stuff at his house! C'mon!" Yuffie exclaimed, runnin around the corner.
The rest of them follow after her and they enter Merlin's house. Aerith, Cid, and Leon were inside there. Cid was typing on the computer while Leon and Aerith watched him. "Meet the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee!" Yuffi introduced, holding her arm out towards them.
Aerith, Cid, and Leon turned around and saw the group of four standing behind them. "We missed you!" Aerith said sweetly, putting her hands together. "Well, if you two ain't in top shape," Cid said. "I knew it," Leon said with a small grin. Sora and Advin glanced over at him, raising a brow at him. "Knew what?" Sora asked him.
"A while back, we all started to remember you guys. All at the same time," Leon replied to him. "Remembered? Wait, did you forget about us!?" Advin exclaimed, a bit annoyed that they actually forgot about them while they were gone. "Thanks!" Donald exclaimed, pretty annoyed too.
"Where've you guys been all this time?" Yuffie asked. "We were sleepin'," Goofy replied. "Where? In cold storage?" Cid asked, making the group act nervously. "It doesn't matter. This is great! Everyone is together again," Aerith said, smiling big. She was the sweetest one out of all of them. "So, we're trying to find Riku and the King. Have you seen them?" Sora asked, hoping they'd know something. However, they shook their heads.
"Huh… Right…" Advin said, looking down a bit. "We're sorry. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help, okay?" Aerith said reassuringly. "Yeah, thanks," Sora said with a nod. Cid then got out of his seat and got in their faces, making them back up. "Don't go thankin' us just yet," he said before going back to the computer.
"So, what's the issue around here?" Advin asked them. "So you guys saw that Hollow Bastion has a big problem," Leon clarified. "You mean, like the Nobodies? And the Heartless?" Sora asked him. Yuffie nodded at that question. "That's right," she exclaimed. "Well, sounds like you could use our help," Sora said, pounding his chest.
"Let's cut to the chase, then. Sora, Advin, Donald, Goofy. We were hoping that the four of you might give us a hand around here," Leon said, uncrossing his arms. Sora and Advin patted their chests proudly when he said that. "Like we're gonna say no?" Sora said with a cheeky grin.
"Right, I forgot who I'm dealing with," Leon sarcastically says. Advin raised a brow at him and put her hands on her hips. "What do you mean by that? Hmm?" she asked suspiciously. "Just think of it as sort of 'Leon compliment,'" Aerith piped in. Leon pushes himself off of the wall and he walks over to the door, opening it. "You guys follow me to the Bailey - There's something you need to see," he told them before he left.
Just as he did, Merlin the Wizard appeared in a cloud of smoke. "Oh! I thought it was you two! Right on time," he said with a hearty chuckle. "It's Merlin!" Donald exclaimed. "Sora, Advin and the gang said they're gonna help out!" Yuffie announced to the wizard. A smile appeared underneath his long beard. "Splendid! We'll count on you!" he exclaimed.
"Right!" the group declared. "Ah, yes. Did you give them the cards, dear?" Merlin asked Aerith, who was standing a few feet behind the group. "Oh!" she exclaimed, pulling out four cards from her pink dress. "They're presents for you. Leon thought you might want them," she said, holding out the cards to them. They each took them and looked at them carefully.
"Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee Honorary Member!" Sora said, a smile appeared on his face. "Membership cards!" Donald exclaimed. "Kinda cool, huh?" Goofy asked. "Very cool," Advin chuckled, also smiling at this. Sora looked up and saw that Leon wasn't in the room with them. "Wait, weren't we supposed to meet Leon at the Bailey?" Advin asked, remembering this. "Oh, yeah! Almost forgot about that," Sora exclaimed.
They were about to go but Merlin stopped them before they walked out of the door. "Hold on a moment, you two. What about your magic?" he asked them.
"Oh… right," Sora said, crossing his arms. Advin scratched the back of her head. "Maybe you two forgot about it while you were asleep!" Yuffie chuckled. Merlin chuckled at what she said, shaking his head. "What am I to do with you two? I suppose I'll have to lend you two a few spells. Be careful with them!" he said. "Thank you, Merlin!" the siblings said at the same time.
"Alright, to the bailey! Fast!" Donald said to them. The group run out of Merlin's house and make their way to the bailey, fighting Heartless along the way. When they got there, they saw Leon looking over the edge at a dark castle in the distance. He didn't have to look over to see them coming. "Would you look at that?" he said.
Sora and Advin gasp when they see it. "We want to restore Hollow Bastion to how it used to be. It may be something better than we expect. However, there's still a lot to do. I'm sure we can handle everything. Except for that," he said, pointing towards the castle before he pointed to two Dusks strutting over to the castle.
"We can handle them, Leon," Advin said to him when they saw them. "That's good to hear. Sora, Advin, do you two know what's going on?" Levi asked unsurely. He always seemed confident in their eyes, so it was odd that he seemed like this. "Well, for starters, there's this guy, Pete, who's been going around plotting with the Heartless, but he's not smart enough to tie his own shoes. But we need to worry about the Nobodies," Sora explained to him.
"And the Organization?" Leon asked. "You called?" someone said from behind them, getting them to look around. But they didn't see them anywhere. "You two are doing well," the same voice said.
"Who's that?!" Sora shouted, unleashing his keyblade. "Come out, you coward!" Advin shouted, her keyblade appearing. "This calls for a celebration," the voice said again. When he said that, several Nobodies appeared in front of them. Leon unsheathed his Gunblade, ready to take the Nobodies on. The siblings chase the Nobodies to an open part of the bailey. When they got there, the gate closed behind them. The siblings and Leon fight off the Nobodies while protecting the gate. When they defeated them all, Sora and Advin were alone, looking around for the man who made that voice.
"The Keyblade… a truly marvelous weapon. Were it only in more… capable hands…" the voice taunted them, getting six other people to laugh. This irritated the siblings even more. "Show yourselves!" Sora exclaimed. When he said this, six cloaked figures appeared on the top of the building adjacent to them, staring down at them. The central one raises his hands.
"Organization XIII!" Goofy shouted. "Great! Now we can settle this!" Sora shouted. "This ends now!" Advin said, glaring up at the Organization. "What a shame… And here I thought we could be friends," the central one said, disappearing while laughing. "Stop!" Donald shouted when they did, but it was futile.
Donald ran over to a set of stairs, only to be stopped by a single cloaked man at the head of the stairs. "What's the big idea?!" Donald shouted. "Oopsy-daisy!" the man said in a smart aleck way. "Move out of the way!" Advin shouted at him, waving her hand. "Aw, do you think that's polite, shutting me down like that?" the figure said, sounding like he was mocking her.
"She said to get out of the way!" Sora yelled at him. "As if! You two can talk all you want, but it won't change a thing," the figure spat back. "Then, we're gonna MAKE you move!" Donald said, jumping up and down. "See, that would work, if I was any old dude. 'Cept I'm not. I'm with the Organization. Nothing old about me," the figure said. He was beginning to get underneath their skin with how he was talking.
"Don't make us laugh. You think you're so tough? You're letting your flunkeys do all the fighting while you sit on the sidelines," Advin said, staring right at him, standing in a fighting position with Sora. "Oh, dear. I think you got the wrong impression," the figure laughed, wagging a finger at them.
"You gonna cry?" Sora said to him. "As if! Why don't I remind you two how tough the crowd you're dealing with really is?" the figure said. "Remind us?" Sora started, looking at his sister, who looked back at him. They quickly shook their heads and glared back at the hooded figure. The figure laughed at them in amusement. "That's right! They used to give me that exact same look!" he said, recognizing their expressions.
"Psh, guess you think you can psych us out by saying really random stuff," Sora said to him, not falling for what this guy was trying to do. "Gee, I just don't know," the man said, holding his arms out as if to strike them. He then gives up and says, "You two be a good boy and a good girl now!"
"Wait!" Donald said, going after him but he disappeared before he could get him. Donald landed on his front, lifting himself up by his feathered hands. "Nuts! He got away!" he said, sounding irritated.
"That was weird. Who gave him the same look?" Sora wondered, trying to figure out what he meant. "Yeah, what did he mean by that?" Advin asked, just as confused as he was. "Y'know, he was probably trying to confuse ya guys," Goofy assured them. They smiled at what he said. "Yeah, you're right. Only one of us!" Sora said. "Nobody can replace us!" Advin confidently said, standing up straight.
Then, they took out their membership cards, looking at them again. The cards started to glow in their hands, making them let go of them. They watched as the cards floated in the air, much to everyone's amazement. Their Keyblades glow just like the cards did. A bright light flashes from the Keyblades. Wind blew through Sora and Advin's clothes and through their hair as a large crown symbol appeared beneath their feet. The card was actually the keyhole to help them leave. The siblings pointed the Keyblades at them and they opened a gateway.
"Ohh, that's what Yen Sid meant…" Advin said, lowering her arm. "Yeah, this must've been the gate he talked about," Sora added. "Oh boy!" Donald excitedly said. Sora and Advin turned around to look at Leon, who stood behind them. "Sorry to run, Leon, but other worlds are calling," Sora told them.
Leon nodded at them. "Organization XIII. They look tough. You guys be careful out there," he told them. "Don't worry, Leon. We'll be back soon," Advin assured him with a confident smile. Leon gave them a salute. The group then leave on the gummi ship to the next world.
