Chapter 28: Grievous Intrigue

Hey everyone, I'm back with a new chapter. I'm glad all of you enjoyed my last update so much. Happy Easter! I hope you like what I have planned. Please Review and Enjoy.

At the Jedi Temple, Ahsoka and Anakin were running down the halls.

"Come on, Master, it's about to start," Ahsoka said eagerly.

"Take it easy, Snips. I know. I'm the one who told you about it." Anakin said as they reached the end, only to see Obi-Wan and Jinora waiting near the training field.

"Did we make it?" Ahsoka asks.

"Just in time." Obi-Wan nods.

"I can't believe you approved this," Anakin said.

"He wants to see how far he's come, and this has been his biggest challenge since arriving at the Jedi Order," Obi-Wan said.

Looking out, we see Shun standing across from Master Yoda.

"I'm curious to see how Shun will do against Master Yoda. I'm told he's the strongest Jedi you have." Jinora said.

"That's putting it lightly." Mace Windu said, approaching them. "Master Yoda wiped the floor with him the first time they fought, and he'll do it again."

"Maybe so, but quite a few are interested in seeing it this time." Obi-Wan gestures around them, revealing several Jedi had come to watch the match.

Among them were Barriss, Luminara, and the Younglings.

"Ready Padawan?" Yoda asks.

"Bring it," Shun said, activating his lightsaber.

"And…begin." Yoda declares as Shun charges towards him.

Narrowing his eyes, Yoda expected more than just charging in.

However, as Shun got closer, he deactivated his saber and hurled multiple blasts of fire at him.

Eyes widening briefly, Yoda dodges the fireballs.

But as Shun closes in, he reactivates his lightsaber, forcing Yoda to ignite his to block it.

Spinning quickly, Yoda leaps over Shun, who ducks his attack.

Jumping back, Shun uses his airbending on the ground to launch himself upwards before firing another gust to force Yoda back.

As he recovers, Shun divebombs down and delivers a powerful slash, forcing Yoda to parry.

"I never thought of that," Ahsoka said, impressed.

"He's using his bending to keep Master Yoda distracted and to boost his power while he attacks with his lightsaber. A clever strategy." Obi-Wan smiles.

"Yeah, but will it be enough?" Anakin asks with interest.

Slamming his feet into the ground, Shun made several pillars of earth shoot up around them.

Leaping up, Master Yoda lands atop one.

As Shun follows him, he swings his saber, forcing Master Yoda to dodge.

Swinging his cane, he knocks Shun off balance.

Firing a metal cable, it latches onto another pillar.

Deactivating his lightsaber, Shun hurls fire from his other hand, launching him upwards and across from Yoda.

Taking a deep breath, Shun breathed ice, freezing the ground around Yoda's feet.

Jumping to another pillar, Yoda held out his hand using the Force to lift 2 pillars at the same time.

"Oh boy," Shun said, thrusting his hands forward, and from the ground lava shot out.

Moving his arm, Yoda used one of the pillars as a shield to absorb the attack.

"So it's true. He can Lava Bend," Jinora gasps in disbelief.

"That skill saved mine and Barriss' life," Ahsoka points out.

As Yoda hurls the remaining pillar at him, Shun activates his double-bladed saber. Spinning it in a circle, Shun slices both pillars in half.

Racing towards Yoda, the little guy finally activated his saber, and the two locked blades.

Using his speed, Yoda spun and leaped around Shun, trying to wear him out.

Fortunately, thanks to the Form 3 lessons he got from Obi-Wan, Shun was able to meet his attacks and block them.

"He's actually keeping up with him," Barriss said, impressed.

"But for how long?" Luminara asks.

As Yoda leaps in, Shun swings his saber with all his might, knocking Yoda back.

Pulling their hands back, both Shun and Yoda release a Force Push.

With their hands inches apart, Shun cringed as he tried to push back, but Yoda's power was too much, and Shun was sent flying backward, crashing into the water.

"Ugh. Not again." Shun groans in defeat.

"Awwww." All the Younglings groaned seeing this.

As Yoda looks down, he notices that Shun's Force Push had knocked him back a few inches.

Narrowing his eyes, Yoda seemed to be the only one who noticed.

Approaching the water, Master Yoda offers Shun a hand.

"Ways to go, but improving you are." Yoda smiles, helping Shun up.

"How many times has Shun faced Master Yoda?" Jinora asks.

"This is the 5th time since joining the Order." Obi-Wan states.

"When is he going to realize he can't win?" Mace asks.

"He may not be at Master Yoda's level, but he's getting better, you have to admit that." Obi-Wan points out.

"With a little more training, I bet he could still provide a challenge to a few other Jedi," Ahsoka admits.

"Who knows, maybe someday he'll give you a run for money, Master Windu?" Anakin smirks.

"Yeah, right. He's lucky it wasn't me down there," Mace said walking away.

Wringing out his shirt, Shun made his way over.

"I guess I need to work on my Force Abilities," Shun said, rubbing the back of his head.

"Look on the bright side, you lasted longer than last time. And you actually surprised him with your new style." Anakin adds.

"How did you come up with that?" Ahsoka asks.

"I noticed several Lightsaber forms have hints of bending styles in them. So, I'm experimenting," Shun explains.

"Clever thinking," Ahsoka giggles playfully, nudging him.

"Hopefully, it works better in the field than on Master Yoda," Shun said rubbing his shoulder.

Meanwhile, in space, a cruiser commanded by Jedi Master Eeth Koth was under attack by General Grievous.

On the main deck, Eeth Koth and his clones prepared themselves.

"Standby, Grievous is boarding," He orders as the Separatists align their ships.

When the hatch opened, Super Battle Droids opened fire on the clones.

"Status report," Eeth Koth orders watching a security hologram of the fight.

"There are too many of them!" The Captain reports.

"Get yourselves to the escape pods. I will deal with Grievous here." Eeth Koth assures.

"But, sir, they're commando droids!" The Captain warns.

"That does not matter, Captain. Now go." He orders them when they hear a noise.

Ending the transmission, Eeth Koth drew his green lightsaber while the clones readied their blasters.

As a lightsaber began carving a circle through the door, they awaited the circle to be cut down, but after a few seconds, it was kicked down, and Grievous walked in.

"Jedi." Grievous acknowledged.

"Grievous," Eeth Koth glares as several commando droids enter the room.

As the droids fired, the clones tried to retaliate, but the Commando Droids were a step above normal droids.

Using quick movements and sharp blades, they took down the clones and surrounded the Jedi Master.

Eeth Koth swung his lightsaber, but the droids were quick and dodged his strikes.

Leaping onto the panel, one fires at Eeth Koth's shoulder, knocking his lightsaber out of his hands.

Holding out his hand, he tried to use the Force to get it back, but a Commando Droid came up behind him with a blade to his neck.

Struggling, one clone stood up and fired, hitting a Commando Droid, allowing Eeth Koth to flip over the droid and get his lightsaber back.

Slashing the commando droid in half, it crawled along the floor, not done yet, forcing Eeth Koth to stab it in the head.

Before the clone could react, a Magna Guard electrocuted him.

As more of them entered the room, Eeth Koth was surrounded yet again, but this time, Grievous joined in.

"Eeth Koth, isn't it? I've been looking forward to meeting you." Grievous cackles before coughing.

"Your reputation precedes you, General. Reputation of a coward... and a murderer." Eeth Koth states.

"Murderer? Is it murder to rip the galaxy of you Jedi filth?" Grievous asks activating two lightsabers.

Before Eeth Koth could react, Grievous kicked him in the chest sending him skidding back.

Leaping in, Grievous goes on the attack forcing Eeth Koth back while the Magna guards boxed him in restricting his movements.

Using a Force Push, Eeth Koth sent him crashing against the glass. He was about to respond when a Magna Guard jabbed him in the back, electrocuting him.

Recovering from the attack, Grievous and Eeth Koth clashed, but while the Jedi Master was distracted, the Magna Guards electrocuted him over and over again until Eeth Koth was too weak to fight back.

Laughing at the Jedi's despair, Grievous grabs him by the neck.

Back at the Jedi Temple, Barriss and Ahsoka walked into a room to show Grievous had sent a message to the temple, and nobody liked what it showed.

"Greetings, Jedi. It would seem once again one of your order has lost his way, and, even better, a leading member of your Jedi Council. Listen to me, Jedi. I do not care about your politics, I do not care about your Republic, I only live to see you die!" Grievous declares as he tosses Eeth Koth to the floor, and a Magna Guard electrocutes him making him scream in pain.

As some of the younglings looked away, Shun tightened his fist.

"But death will not come so easily for Master Koth. I will make him suffer endlessly, because I know that is more painful for you all," Grievous laughs maniacally ending the message.

"Away with the younglings. Much there is to discuss." Yoda urged as Ahsoka, Barriss, and several other Jedi left the room, leaving on Shun, Obi-Wan, Anakin, Adi Gallia, Mace, Yoda, and holograms of the other Jedi Council members.

"I hate that walking tin can so much," Shun growls.

"It's time somebody finally put an end to that monster," Anakin said equally angry.

"On that, agreed we are. How to find him, the question remains." Yoda said as a hologram of Commander Wolfe whispered something to Plo Koon.

"After engaging Grievous, we lost contact with Master Koth. He could be anywhere." Obi-Wan said.

"Commander Wolfe has found a message in the holo-transmission. Play back the message," Plo Koon orders.

Watching the message, they muted the sounds and noticed Eeth Koth was moving his hand.

"Look, hand signals," Anakin points out.

"I admit my skills are rusty, but...Saleucami system, Sector J-19, zero-eight, zero-five, two-nine." Obi-Wan translated.

"Saleucami? But intelligence reported Grievous has no ships near that sector," Adi Gallia points out.

"Wouldn't be the first time you guys were wrong about something," Shun rolls his eyes.

"You know, Master Koth was one of the Jedi who voted to kick you out. You still want to be here?" Mace points out.

As Shun shot him a glare, Obi-Wan stepped in.

"Shun and I will go," Obi-Wan states.

"So will I," Anakin adds.

"And I," Adi Gallia said.

Soon, they were all preparing the fleet. While Obi-Wan was in the main cruiser, Anakin, Shun, and Adi Gallia were in a smaller ship.

"I shall engage the Separatist fleet and send you the coordinates of Grievous' command ship," Obi-Wan explains.

"Just make sure you get it right," Anakin smirks.

"I always do," Obi-Wan states.

"How do you plan on getting Grievous aboard your ship?" Adi Gallia asks.

"Not to worry, the good general and I have a history. I'm sure he'll want to even the score face to face," Obi-Wan said.

"Master, I should be with you. We could take him," Shun said.

"You're getting stronger, but right now I need you on rescue. This is a mission where you can't afford to take it personally," Obi-Wan said.

"It's rescuing one of the guys who wanted to kick me out from the horrible monster that killed my first master. This mission is nothing but personal," Shun points out making Anakin chuckle.

"He's got you there, Master," Anakin said.

"Master Koth might not have made the choice you wanted at the time, but that doesn't mean he's worth hating. He has a strong sense of duty to the Jedi Order. Prove you're worth keeping around," Obi-Wan urged, making Shun groan.

Taking a deep breath, Shun took a second to gather his thoughts. "You want me to rescue him to test if I can keep my emotions in check long enough to get him out safely," Shun realized

"What do you know? You are learning. Pull this off and you might get a chance against Grievous someday," Obi-Wan smirks.

"Meanwhile, while you keep Grievous busy, we'll jump in undetected and board the command ship," Anakin said getting back on topic.

"If Master Koth is still alive, we will find him," Adi Gallia assures.

"Hopefully, by the end of this mission, we will have saved Master Koth and captured General Grievous," Obi-Wan said as the fleet made the jump to lightspeed.

Pausing, Anakin glanced at Shun. "It gets annoying, doesn't it? He always finds a way to make you learn a lesson."

"It really does," Shun sighs as Anakin pats him on the shoulder.

In the Saleucami system, Grievous' fleet was approaching the planet.

"Sir, we have entered the Saleucami system." A tactical droid said.

"Begin preparations for our landing." Grievous orders.

"Yes, my lord." It nods.

"Sir, several ships are coming out of hyperspace," A battle droid states.

"Are they Republic or Separatist?" Grievous asked as a fleet of Republic ships arrived.

"Republic. Three cruiser class, four escort class," It states.

Turning to Eeth Koth who was in suspended prison, Grievous didn't seem fazed. "You see? Your compassionate friends have come to rescue you. Just as I knew they would,"

As the escort ships flew forward, the cruisers stayed behind.

"One of the Republic ships is hailing us, my lord." The tactical droid said.

"Put him through," Grievous orders.

Slowly opening his eyes, Eeth Koth saw Obi-Wan appear on screen.

"General. I knew one day I'd catch up to you," Obi-Wan said getting his attention.

"Kenobi! What a surprise. I assume you are here to bring me to justice?" Grievous assumes.

"You know me too well," Obi-Wan said.

"Indeed, I do!" Grievous said ending the transmission. "Prepare to fire all cannons, and be alert. Where there is Kenobi, you will always find Skywalker and his other Padawan not far behind."

"The enemy ships are faster and more maneuverable. I suggest caution." The tactical droid said.

"Draw them in. I want to board that vessel. I shall kill Kenobi face to face." Grievous orders as his ships began firing.

"Well, we certainly have his attention. Admiral Yularen, keep Grievous' fleet occupied so Anakin's arrival is undetected." Obi-Wan instructs.

"Yes, General. Commence attack! All ships fire at will!" Yularen orders.

"Yes, sir! We're moving in." A clone said as a squad of fighters flew in to counterattack.

"Commander Cody, do you have the exact coordinates of the command ship yet?" Obi-Wan asks glancing at the clone.

"We are patching them through now, sir," Cody said sending the coordinates.

In the small shuttle, Rex got the message.

"We are receiving the coordinates from General Kenobi," Rex said.

"How close are you going to jump in next to Grievous' ship?" Adi Gallia asks.

"Pretty close. Buckle up, boys." Anakin warns.

"Define pretty close." Adi Gallia narrows her eyes.

"Close enough to where you want to hold on," Shun said as BD-1 clamped onto Shun's glider for emphasis.

Inputting the coordinates, they made the jump to light speed.

At the battle near Saleucami, Grievous was fighting his way straight to Kenobi's shuttle.

"Get me a tractor beam lock on Kenobi's ship and prepare a boarding party!" Grievous orders.

Closing in, the shuttle shook violently, indicating they were caught.

"Tractor beam has us, sir. Shall we fire on the source?" Cody asks.

"No, Cody. Let them think they have us. We need the diversion for Anakin and Shun," Obi-Wan reminds.

"We're coming out of hyperspace. Hang on!" Anakin warns as they appear right in front of Grievous' cruiser.

Doing a series of quick maneuvers, they latch onto the ship while hanging upside down. "Primary power down."

And with that nobody knew they were there.

"So, was that close enough for you?" Anakin asks.

"Any closer and we'd be flying down hallways." Adi Gallia points out.

"Maybe next time." Anakin smirks.

"And you people think I'm dangerous?" Shun snickers.

Inside the ship, Anakin cuts a hole through the pipe allowing them to climb up.

"Coast is clear, Rex," Anakin informs as Rex and the clones climb out.

"Copy that, sir," Rex said as Shun, BD, and Adi Gallia climbed out.

"Stay here and guard the entrance. This may be our only way out." Anakin orders.

"You stay here too, BD. In case we need someone to hack the system," Shun suggests.

Beeping in understanding, BD-1 leaps off and stands next to Rex.

"Skywalker, Namikaze, Master Koth is located on the bridge. This way." Adi Gallia said leading them down the hall.

As the loading dock latches onto Kenobi's ship. Obi-Wan, Cody, and the other clones make the necessary preparations.

"Remember, we need to keep Grievous on this ship until General Skywalker is clear," Obi-Wan reminds as a round hole was cut into the ship.

"Look out!" Cody yelled as the hole was knocked down, and everyone took cover.

Using the same tactic he used against Eeth Koth, a squad of Commando Droids entered first with Magna Guards following behind alongside Grievous.

Igniting his lightsaber, Obi-Wan slowly stepped back as the Magna Guards advanced while Cody and the clones dealt with the Commando Droids.

"Kenobi," Grievous said eager to take him down.

Back on the other ship, the three Jedi were running down the hall.

"How are we doing?" Anakin asks.

"We are close," Adi Gallia informs.

As a group of battle droids approached, they readied their weapons.

Racing forward, Shun slams his foot in

to the ground causing the metal path to shoot upwards, smashing the droids into the ceiling.

"Let's go!" Shun said running ahead.

"Not bad," Adi Gallia said impressed.

"Just out of curiosity, what was your vote?" Anakin asks glancing at her, remembering she was on Shun's trial.

"I voted to give him a chance. Not every day a Padawan stares down the Jedi Council without hesitation," Adi Gallia admits as they continued searching for the Jedi Master.

With Obi-Wan, Grievous, and the Magna Guards forced him into another room.

"So, Kenobi, is everything going as planned?" Grievous asks.

"That depends on your point of view, General," Obi-Wan said as a Magna Guard attacked him.

Blocking the strikes, Obi-Wan dodges as the second one joins in.

Deciding to reduce their numbers, Obi-Wan ducks causing one Magna Guard to electrocute the other. Using this opening, Obi-Wan stabs it in the chest, taking it out.

Igniting two lightsabers, Grievous walks in. "You wouldn't come here without a plan. And you wouldn't come alone. Tell me, do you think Skywalker or your Padawan has rescued Master Koth yet?"

Eyes widening, Obi-Wan realized Grievous was onto them. Sadly, all he could do was hope Anakin and Shun could handle it.

On the bridge, the tactical droid stood guard over Eeth Koth when the door opened, and part of a Super Battle Droid was knocked inside.

"Surprise," Anakin smirks as he, Adi Gallia, and Shun all have their lightsabers at the ready.

"Not exactly," The droid said as a dozen Commando Droids swooped in with blades and blasters at the ready.

"Well, at least they're not destroyer droids," Anakin cringed as the three of them took defensive stances.

"The General's description of your tactics has been 100% accurate today. Very impressive, even by my standards." The droid states.

On the other ship, Obi-Wan was deflecting and moving around, dodging Grievous and the Magna Guard.

"Your plans have come to ruination, Jedi," Grievous said as the Magna Guard pursued Obi-Wan.

"I hear a lot of talking, General. But in the final accounting, what does all the talk get you? A futile quest for power, a mutilated body, and your place as Dooku's errand boy." Obi-Wan mocks by blocking the attacks.

"I'm no errand boy. I am not in this war for Dooku's politics. I am the leader of the most powerful droid army the galaxy has ever seen." Grievous declares as Obi-Wan ducks under the staff and slices off the Magna Guard's leg, allowing him to stab it in the chest.

Now it was just him and Grievous.

Picking up the staff, Obi-Wan took a dual-wielding stance. "An army with no loyalty, no spirit. Just programming. What do have you to show for all your power? What have you to gain?"

"The future. A future where there are no Jedi." Grievous said detaching his extra arms, allowing him to use 4 lightsabers.

As Grievous lunged at him, Obi-Wan blocked his strikes before lunging the staff forward, whacking Grievous back.

Frustrated, Grievous swings two arms upwards, slicing the staff in half and knocking Obi-Wan to the ground.

"The story of Obi-Wan Kenobi ends here," Grievous declares, swinging his sabers, but Obi-Wan backflips, dodging them.

Forcing Grievous to follow him into a corner, the blades sliced against the wall before Grievous locked two blades with his.

"It's over, Kenobi! Your friends will die and you shall soon follow," Grievous declares.

On the other ship, Eeth Koth was being electrocuted by the tactical droid.

"One more step and your friend will die," The droid threatens, its finger hovering over a button.

As it let out a mechanical laughter it was about to press the button when for some reason its arm stopped.

"What is happening? My joints aren't moving," It said confused.

Turning to Shun, Anakin saw his hand was out.

"That's because I'm Metalbending you!" Shun swung his arm, forcing the droid's arm in the opposite direction.

Seeing an opening, Anakin uses a Force Pull to yank it in and slice the arm with the controls off.

Immediately, the Commando droids went on the attack.

As one swings a blade at Anakin, he ducks allowing Adi Gallia to slice it in half.

Turning around one was about to fire but Shun bent some water from his canteen hitting it in the chest before stabbing it with his lightsaber.

One Commando droid fired at him, but Shun deflects the fire and charges in.

Drawing its blade, it was about to meet him head-on on but at the last second, Shun tossed the saber upwards allowing him to deliver a fire kick, nailing it in the chest.

When the saber lands back in his arms Shun slices the droid's head off.

"Ha, compared to Master Yoda, these things might as well be standing still," Shun smirks.

Looking around, the tactical droid noticed its arm lying across the room. Crawling towards it, a Commando Droid raced by kicking it away.

"No." It said annoyed.

As a Commando Droid leaps in, Shun rolls out of the way and fires a blast of air knocking it into two others.

Adi Gallia uses the Force to push a Commando Droid back allowing Anakin and Shun to slice it into pieces.

"Got to get it," The tactical droid said grabbing the arm as all three Jedi turned to him.

It tried to press the button unfortunately, it was using its one good hand to hold the arm so it had nothing to push the button with.

"Hey stupid. I think you miscalculated on something," Shun mocks.

"Uh…" The droid said only for Anakin to slice it in half.

Walking up to Eeth Koth, Anakin slices the controls freeing him.

But as he fell, Shun quickly tucked his hands away making him fall to the floor.

"Whoops, my bad," Shun said innocently.

While Anakin was amused Adi Gallia was unsure.

"All right, one more time," Shun said helping Eeth Koth up.

"I see you got my message. Where's Grievous?" Eeth Koth groans.

"If all is going according to plan, he'll be on Obi-Wan's ship," Anakin said.

"He's been captured?" Eeth Koth said surprised.

"If we can cut off his escape route he will be. Come on." Shun said heading towards the door.

But as they walked out, Shun leaned closer to the wall making Eeth Koth bang his head against the metal.

"Ow," Eeth Koth groans as Shun chuckles.

"You think you could be a little gentler with him?" Adi Gallia asks.

"Just had to get that out of my system," Shun said.

"Really?" Eeth Koth said glancing at him.

"You tried to kick me out," Shun deadpans.

"Is now really the time? We should be leaving," Eeth Koth urged.

"Don't worry, that was all I needed. You've suffered enough for one day," Shun said carrying him down the hall with Anakin and Adi Gallia right behind him.

On the Republic Ship, Obi-Wan and Grievous were clashing blades trying to overpower the other.

Using the Force, Obi-Wan hurls the Magna Guard carcass at Grievous sending him smashing against the glass.

"Surrender, general," Obi-Wan threatens pointing his lightsaber at him.

"Never!" Leaping away, Grievous runs on all fours back to his ship.

Obi-Wan tried to follow but a door slammed shut in front of him.

Using his lightsaber, he cut through it.

"Anakin, I hope you found Master Koth because Grievous is heading back to his ship," Obi-Wan said into his commlink.

Hearing this, the 4 Jedi realized they had to move fast.

"All of you go, I'll make it back. I'll be fine," Eeth Koth assures.

"Anyone ever tell you, you're a bad liar?" Shun asks seeing through it.

"Master Gallia, you and Shun go ahead. I'll get Eeth back to the shuttle," Anakin orders.

"May the Force be with you," Adi Gallia said as she and Shun let go.

"If you don't make it back, Master Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, and I will never let you live it down," Shun said as they ran ahead while Anakin and Eeth Koth went in a different direction.

As Obi-Wan raced to catch up with Grievous he met up with some clones.

"Get back to the bridge, we need to detach before Grievous makes it back to his ship." Obi-Wan orders.

Nodding the clones ran off.

Near the hatch, Cody and the other clones had finished off the droids.

"Cody, come in!" Obi-Wan said into Cody's commlink.

"Yes, sir." He answers.

"Grievous is headed your way," Obi-Wan said as the General appeared down the hall.

Taking positions, Cody and the Clones opened fire forcing Grievous to draw his lightsabers to deflect shots fired.

Leaping over them, he activated his comm.

"Open fire on the Republic ship. Target their engines!" Grievous orders.

"But, sir, the ships are still attached," A battle droid said.

"It doesn't matter. Prepare all troops for our landing on Saleucami," Grievous said.

Following orders, the ship fires at the engines causing an explosion.

In the lower hangar, Anakin met up with Rex and BD-1.

"That doesn't sound good," Anakin said hearing the tremors.

On the Republic Ship, the clones tried to get the ship up and running.

"The circuits are fried. We have no controls. I can't even get the engines online." One said.

At the connection, Grievous fought to get back to his ship when Cody fired a cable that wrapped around him.

Growling Grievous struggled to break free when more fire came in causing the entire room to shake.

Breaking the cable, Grievous saw Obi-Wan running after him.

However, just as he closed in, the stabilizers broke causing the tunnel to tilt upwards.

As Grievous slides downwards, Obi-Wan draws his saber and swings but Grievous blocks it.

Obi-Wan tried to keep the General at bay but another explosion caused the tunnel to shake allowing Grievous to kick him down the tunnel.

Crawling up, Grievous made it back to his ship.

"Until we meet again, Kenobi," Grievous cackles when he hears a lightsaber activate.

Turning around, Grievous saw Adi Gallia attack him.

Reactivating his sabers, Grievous clashes with her.

Swinging her saber, Grievous blocks and kicks her back.

Grievous was about to counter when a large chunk of metal flew downwards hitting him in the face.

Turning around he saw Shun leap in forcing him to make his sabers into an X to block the attack.

"You're not getting away that easily, Grievous," Shun growls.

"I beg to differ," Grievous said pushing back.

Swinging his sabers, Shun uses his double-bladed saber to block all of Grievous' attacks.

Spinning the saber around, Shun pushes back allowing Adi Gallia to move in from behind trapping Grievous in between them.

Suddenly, the tunnel broke causing a powerful air vacuum to pull Obi-Wan and Cody in while Shun and Adi Gallia leaned against the wall trying to hold on.

Using his metal bracelets, Shun fired a cable for them to grab onto.

Seeing this was his best chance, Grievous made his escape as Adi Gallia grabbed Shun from behind and the two pulled the three men up to safety before closing the airlock.

"We can still catch him," Obi-Wan pants standing up.

"Obi-Wan, Anakin is leaving. We'll be trapped on the ship," Adi Gallia warns.

"I'm sorry Master, but I think we'll have to get Grievous another time," Shun frowns hating the idea.

Seeing they were right, Obi-Wan connected to Anakin. "Anakin, come in. We're in a bit of a spot and we need a way off of Grievous' ship."

"There's a large hangar near your position. Make your way there and I'll pick you up," Anakin answers as they run for it.

Throughout the Separatist Ship, an alarm echoed signaling it was time to escape.

"All droids to the landing craft. All droids to the landing craft." A droid said over the speakers.

As the droids scrambled to the shuttle, Grievous grabbed one droid and threw it out so he could be on said ship.

"Get to your stations, we're going to detach," Grievous said as the droids got to work. "Prepare to launch."

As Anakin flew to the hangar, Obi-Wan, Shun, Adi Gallia, and Cody scrambled to get on before leaving.

Nearby the Republic Shuttle was catching fire.

"The reactor's been breached. I can't lock it down!" As the shuttle exploded some of the debris knocked Grievous' ship off course and towards the planet below.

"Anakin, get me Admiral Yularen," Obi-Wan orders as they set up a connection.

"Several craft detached from Grievous' ship and attempted to land on Saleucami," Yularen states.

"Then we'll have to land and follow them. Prepare the tanks," Obi-Wan said.

"Yes, sir," Yularen said hanging up.

"There must be several landing sites. It may be hard to locate the good general," Anakin points out.

"You'll have to command the space battle while Rex, Cody, and I head to the surface," Obi-Wan suggests.

"You sure you can handle this on your own?" Anakin smirks.

"I won't be alone this time," Obi-Wan said looking at Shun. "Care to join me?"

"You know it," Shun said as BD-1 beeped signaling he was coming too.

Landing aboard the Republic Cruiser, they all exited the hangar to prepare for the next step.

"I'll get Master Koth to a medical frigate," Adi Gallia said.

"You all took a great risk rescuing me," Eeth Koth said.

"You're welcome, Master Koth," Obi-Wan smiles.

"Since you divided your forces, Grievous is still at large. I would have gladly given my life if it meant bringing that monster to justice," Eeth Koth said.

"Would it kill you people to just say thank you?" Shun rolls his eyes. "Seriously, why are you Jedi so eager to die?"

"I suppose I owe you my thanks, Avatar. Perhaps we were too hesitant to put you on trial," Eeth Koth said.

"Think of it like this, if you died, you'd never get the chance to see me prove to you Council members I got this," Shun said.

"I suppose we'll just have to wait and see if that day happens," Eeth Koth smirks.

They saved Eeth Koth, but Grievous had escaped. However, that doesn't mean he was getting away so easily.
