Okay, this chapter was just a digression and expressing all of my thoughts regarding how I make up this story, the ideas and some fun tidbits here and there. Feel free to ignore this chapter if you want and for whoever read this part, just think this as a little trivia and nothing to take serious on.

First of all, I want share my fun ideas regarding which seiyuus or voice actors that will voice all the characters in the story here so that you might have a little grasp on how each character will sound like. This should have come first on the line but this was just a little info. No further ado, these are the people that I assign to voice the characters in my head:

- Houtaro Ichinose : Nobuhiko Okamoto

- Young Houtaro Ichinose : Yuya Hirose

- Rinne Kudo : Yume Miyamoto

- The Girl In Houtaro's Dream : ? (Secret, but you should know who this girl is if you read carefully)

- The Girl In Rinne's Memory : ? (Secret, but it was obvious who this girl is)

- The Field Leader Of MIA Tokyo Branch : Natsuki Hanae

- Ryo Kajiki : Soma Saito

- Mr. Ichinose : Tomokazu Seki

- Tamami Ichinose : ? (Secret, but you may know who Houtaro's mother is truly if you read carefully between the line)

- Saint-Germain : Minako Kotobuki

- Cagliostro : Shouta Aoi

- Prelati : Rina Hidaka

- Vanessa : MAO

- Millaarc : Aimi Terakawa

- Hopper1 : Misato Fukuen

- Steamliner : Nobuyuki Hiyama

- Unicon : Ayasa Ito

- Catchula : Ryota Osaka

- Rinne's Equipment Voices : Haru Shinonome, Katsuyuki Konishi

That was more or less the voices of the characters that appeared in this pilot chapter for the most part. Have fun piecing out who those ? secret voices are but it won't be hard to piece some things out because all of the clues that were presented in the story. There are still a lot of things that I want to express and share about the story that I've made.

The first part was I already know how bizarre the experience in reading this story was. Like, wth, this was a Gotchard X Symphogear crossover, but neither the main girls like Hibiki, Miku, Tsubasa or even Chris are on it! The only obvious talking and proactive Symphogear characters in the story were actually from the series' antagonistic characters, like Saint-Germain and Millaarc. There were only just little snippets about Zwei Wing and their concerts with the members being Kanade and Maria obviously added more mystery regarding how the story actually panned out in this universe. Not to mention, as I said, this story was more on Gotchard's side of the story and it focused heavily more on Houtaro and Rinne's story.

There might be some questions here and there but I'll enlighten some parts that I can share here. First of all, I must say you can think this fic as a soft-reboot or re-imagine Gotchard as a story. I was never quite the biggest fan of Gotchard, tbh, and the show had lot of rooms for improvements to be made and this was the single Reiwa series that I felt unsatisfactory with. Knowing that, I felt a fun idea to improve a show that I wasn't fond of with a little reimagining like this. The idea of combining Gotchard's story with Symphogear was because I had read quite a lot of Symphogear x Kamen Rider crossovers but all of them more or less followed the same pattern.

Following the same pattern wasn't a bad thing but I want to express my own take on how to spice things up by giving the premise of these two shows with some little twists and turns. For a Symphogear's fans, you should know the show included the whole alchemy plot starting from GX onwards but this alchemy plot wasn't the huge focus of the series. Knowing that, I decide to expand of the side of the story and combine it with Gotchard's own aligning plot with alchemy together. The side effect of these merging plots made Symphogear's own premise about songs and girls fighting with their Relic Armors took a backseat at least for this part of the story.

The most obvious exclusion was the jarring inexistence of the main Symphogear girls in the story and, instead, those roles being relegated to other characters, like Saint-Germain and the others. Though, again, I quip that technically there were actually some Symphogear girls in the story that I dropped the clues in the pilot chapter if you read carefully outside of the obvious named characters. I'll say that for now, only Hibiki and Miku, ironically are the only Symphogear girls that I can't piece out in my head to fit with the current story. The other girls were fine and I already had ideas in my head but these two, the heart of the franchise, are the one I can't piece out if I want to include in the story.

I have never been the biggest fan of both Hibiki and Miku in the first place but I didn't hate these girls at all but these two's inclusion into the story for what it is will change the trajectory of the story into something different. Some ideas that I had in my head for now was maybe there was no Hibiki or Miku in this universe but there are Hibiki or Miku in other multiverses. Maybe, having Hibiki and Miku being in Gotchard Daybreak's timeline instead of this timeline or maybe they belonged to Kaguya's universe with them being Kaguya's friends or not. Basically, I can't say for sure or guarantee that either Hibiki or Miku will impact or appear in the story later in my head and you can say this was another enigma in my rather bizarre premise that I presented, a Gotchard X Symphogear crossover but without Hibiki and Miku in it or playing a huge part in the story for now.

Now for the Gotchard's side of the story, I also presented a little bit twist and tweak for the plot too. As I said, the most obvious one was the change of Houtaro's 'Gotcha' to be primarily about drawing and I won't dwell it too long because I already cover it in my little digression last time. Yes, I was inspired by Ultraman Arc and use some inspirations from that show for this particular Houtaro and it was especially telling if you had read the chapter's title too. I also put some 'meta' reference of IRL Kamen Rider shows into the story so that Houtaro's idealism, heroism and imagination aligned closely with him on a more personal level in his dream to become a hero or Kamen Rider. I also know some of you were confused on the seiyuu that I chose for Houtaro's voice here but there was a particular reason on why I chose his/its voice for Houtaro and keen readers might figure it out with some snippets here and there.

The other thing that I want to share was, finally, we got a representation of who Houtaro's father is! For those who are yapping about Houtaro's father back in the OG shows, you now have the answer at least on this fic. You could even picture out how he sounded if my idea of whose seiyuu that will voice him is any indication. The reason why I included Houtaro's father as a pivotal character in this story was mainly driven by to give some closure for those people who had hoped to see Houtaro's father in the show and while I don't think this give any clear answer, hopefully no one will yap about Houtaro's father for the forthcoming future. The question now was who Houtaro's mother truly is and, yes, she's still Tamami Ichinose but you may know something more about her if you read between the line carefully.

The other part that I want to touch on was also Rinne's status in the story. I'm pretty sure that for everyone who had read the story, it was already obvious that she was already established as a Kamen Rider way earlier than Houtaro in the story. This was another tweak that I presented and it was only thanks to hindsight and waiting for a month after Gotchard finished airing that I could solidify this idea. Again, I want to give some shock twist and turn for this pilot chapter so Rinne being already established as a hero behind Houtaro's back was fun to include too. I also figure that some of you might think Rinne in this chapter was way too emotional and more expressive compared to her OG counterpart in the story. However, it must be noted that there was an incident regarding Rinne's backstory with that girl in her memory(which tbf already obvious who that girl was) so her being over protective toward Houtaro and Kajiki along with being more emotional was precedented. I hope this version of Rinne was fun to read and enjoy for all the readers.

Now, for a more technical things that I want to share and express, as I said this fic was generated and mostly heavy-lifted by AI, or specifically ChatGPT. I must apologize and I'm sorry to disappoint any of the readers out there if I resorted to use such a technology like that. However, I must say I'm fine if this story wouldn't be looked in high regards, after all there were many more stories and fics out there that were not written by AI or GPT that are worth your time reading than mine, especially when it comes to a Kamen Rider x Symphogear fic like this. So, if any of you didn't like a story written by AI like this, no problem, because there are still so many stories out there that you should spend out reading than my own. I just hope that for those and whoever decided to read this story, in spite of this gripe of using AI, will have a fun time reading in and may take some imaginations and inspirations from here. After all, the base premise of this story is actually about imagination.

I'll also add some info and experiences in writing this story to give some clarity about this work. While I said that I used ChatGPT to write the story, I actually started writing the story manually too. I started writing the story on late September, almost a month since Gotchard ended airing last time and kept writing from then to late October or early November. The last part which I typed manually was the part where Houtaro and Kajiki first met with Hopper1 so that was actually 3/4 of the first part of this pilot chapter If you noticed, the part until Houtaro and Kajiki met with Hopper1 was actually filled with so many descriptions and narrations compared to the rest of the story and that was because those were the parts that I wrote manually and my style always focuses on in-depth narration and description.

However, from late October and early November was the time that I was being busy with IRL works so I didn't have time to continue the story that much. I was afraid that this pilot chapter by itself would never come to a good light too. That was until I stumbled on ChatGPT online during November and after a few tests run and try, I figured out that I can use this to help me writing the story during the time when I was busy to at least lessen the burden of writing the story from the scratch too much. I must say that the difficulty that I had in writing the stories is usually making a grabbing and engaging dialogues between characters, especially knowing that English isn't my primary language too.

I think I'm much better at narrating and describing on how the story will pan out here. With the help of ChatGPT, I can give some inputs based on my narration and description about the story beat without being held by creating the dialogues so that was one job less in writing the story. So, the dialogues starting after the part where Houtaro and Kajiki met Hopper1, that was mostly made by the GPT and I usually only curated the dialogues into much better way that I preferred once it was all and done. I also started using the GPT to curate and improve my own writing for the everything that I had written manually up until that part where Houtaro and Kajiki met Hopper1. The rest from there, that was exclusively made with the help of GPT.

Because of that, I must say that it was only thanks to the advancement of technology that I could finish at least this pilot chapter of this fic. Knowing that I started writing the story from late September and I only published this at late January, it took 4 freaking months to finish this and I don't know how long it would take to complete this chapter in a satisfying way without the help of GPT. This was another reason sometimes I envy several people who could write their stories in less words because this pilot chapter split into two parts already buckled at 50K words and almost 60K words. However, only in this amount that I felt satisfied with the end result.

I'll also share and express that, for those who said writing with GPT wouldn't have a hard time or gripe, it wasn't actually that easy to write using ChatGPT. There are obvious limitations regarding how this technology works so you can't expect it to work up like magic. I kept reminding the GPT that Houtaro called Rinne as 'Kudo' for every instance of my tests or else it will keep making Houtaro calling Rinne as 'Rinne' despite not being appropriate for now. The same goes for Rinne and I needed to remind the GPT that she called Houtaro as 'Ichinose-kun' so that was already quite a hardship. I also use the free version of GPT so there were even more limitations of what I could do too. I was being limited on how many times I could get the results from the GPT per half a day to maybe 6 or 7 tries and results and even then, it took two results to get a satisfying result for me that can be used in the final product. You must also need to count on your words because the GPT will muddle your requests or my narrations if I input a long narration or description.

For the most part, I need to concise my narrations for each part into a single page because the GPT usually skipped or concise several parts of my intended story beats if I wrote the narrations too long into 2 or 3 pages. With the limited amount of times I could use the GPT per day and how I need to make my narrations and runs count with each try, it was quite tricky to write using the GPT too. However, I still thank this technology in lessening my works because the draft of this pilot chapter in Ms Words was already buckling at 114 pages alone and the narration of the story was around 50 pages worth of content so that was half of the heavy-lifting being helped by the GPT. With out it, most of the dialogues wouldn't be done by now and I was grateful for this advancement that I can finish my story in satisfactory way.

Once again, I don't defend myself using ChatGPT and this act is surely not to be followed up easily. If you have the time, strength, and passion to write the story by yourself without relying on the new technology, I commend you and I appreciate your effort! Even I myself think what I did by using ChatGPT to write my stories isn't that commendable but I must appreciate the advancements of technology because this was the sole reason that this pilot chapter was completed faster than I anticipated. Despite me using GPT, it should be noted that the effort in writing the story itself was only lessened a bit on a more technical level and I don't think the emotions and the efforts were diminished that much just because of the usage of GPT. I hope this work that I delivered even when using the GPT might still deliver on the emotion and what I want to convey through the story for those who decided to give this story a try to read.

This last section will be me replying all the reviews that I had gotten in this story until now as a gratitude for those who spent their time reading, reviewing or leaving some mark in the story:

- aceman88 : No problem, bud. As I said, what I did by using ChatGPT to write the story wasn't commendable at all. There were better, outlandish, and more amazing fics out there that you had better spend your time reading that I'm sure not powered by AI like this. Thank you for your notice and criticism.

- Tenzalucard123 : Thank you for your review there and hopefully, you enjoyed the second part of this pilot chapter. Obviously, there were substantial changes in the plot of the two shows that surely spun your head and imagination a bit along with some plot implication based on this second part of the pilot chapter. If you happen to read this part, you may go wild with your own imagination regarding how the story will progress in case I couldn't follow up the story properly. In anyway, thanks for spending your time reading this story.

- merendinoemiliano : Thanks for the review. I hope you like Houtaro's first fight as Gotchard in this chapter along with the implication that it had with Rinne's own circumstances too. For Geryon, I can say that he would still appear in the story but he wouldn't be the main vocal villain at least in the first part of the story in my head.

I also see some reviews regarding commission or what and I must say, please refrain offering me such a commission offer like this. As I said, even I can't guarantee the story's longevity so for those who asked for commission, you would be better finding other writers or artists for your commission. This story was just for fun and all so I'm afraid if any of your efforts for commission would be just wasted here.

I know that there are still many questions lingering on. For example, who that girl in Houtaro's dream was although that was a bit more obvious once you piece things out, who is the man that was contacted by Prelati and why I easily gave out that he was being voiced by Natsuki Hanae, how Houtaro transformed easily into Gotchard, why there was no Tsubasa as a member of Zwei Wing and her place was used by Maria, why there is no Hibiki or Miku(though this one I already explained), and so many more. I'll leave it to your imagination on how the story will progress in the future in your head because, again, I can't promise for the story's longevity so by the chance that I can't continue the story, the story of this about Houtaro's adventure may continue in your own imagination. At the very least, I already gave the premise of this story for you all to imagine how the story would pan out later.

However, there was one thing that I have in store and that would be kind like a bonus chapter for you readers. I won't say it for now but this bonus at the very least can be guaranteed by me and just stay tune when a rather bizarre chapter of this fic suddenly pops up later! For now, thank you for minding your time reading my story for those whoever stopped by here and while my story was heavy-lifted by AI and there were better and consistent fics regarding Kamen Rider x Symphogear crossover, I hope this little pilot chapter of my own take for Gotchard x Symphogear will spark some inspirations and imaginations for those out there! Thank you for you all the readers and hope for the best for you all and all the writers out there!
