It's almost comical how quickly their heads whip around to the source of the noise and Bethany thinks perhaps she shouldn't have let them know that she had seen them. However, they don't spring apart, or look nervous, or even react beyond the Colonel shifting his body better to see her. (A look at the Colonel and Lieutenant through a different set of eyes).

What was assumed to be another stubborn act of insubordination, turns out to be something far worse, and Ed seems to be lost within the whirlwind of dangerous thoughts invading his mind. drabble written for FMA Day 2016

Edward Elric lives in a new Amestris. Alchemy is a relatively new science, and thus still in the process of being studied. The outcomes are limitless, until the Fuhrer discovers that one can combine animal DNA with a human's and get a whole new breed of soldier. The only issue? Edward Elric, State Alchemist, Lt. Colonel Aviator for the Amestrian Air Force.

Ed and Al look back on their journey and how it effected them as they stand before the ruins of their childhood home. For October 3rd.

He had been looking for a criminal. Not a little boy. What was he doing on an island all by himself in the first place anyway? Whatever the case, Roy knew it was going to be a long day.

March '85-February '86: Nothing stays quiet in the Elric family for long. Even Ed and Al can't take it easy dealing with the ups and downs, momentous family events, and the earth itself trying to get in the way of a nice family holiday. Relationships hit new points, and some will never be the same. What happens when one of the kids gets life-altering news?

While investigating a laboratory Edward is exposed to a strange blue liquid. While at first it appears harmless the Elric soon grows ears and a tail. They physical changes are not the worst part though. The boy slowly loses his mind to his new feral side. Thankfully Roy and Al are here to help but will Edward be able to hold on to his humanity or will the monster take over?
