The next two days passed in Orario, with the Underworld Castle continuing to float in the sky. At the Loki Familia's temporary base, Aiz was found standing on the rooftop of a nearby building, her gaze fixed on the Kaiser's Home hovering in the northeastern side of Orario. Behind her, Lefiya, Tione, and Tiona observed her unusual behavior.
"Aiz sure has been looking at the Kaiser's Home for the past few days," Tione remarked, voicing the concern shared by the others.
"Why is Aiz-san just looking at their Home like she wishes for something to happen?" Lefiya wondered aloud.
"Something like what, though?" Tiona questioned.
The trio continued to watch Aiz, who remained transfixed on the floating Underworld Castle, her stoic expression betraying no hint of her thoughts.
Suddenly, the Kaiser's Home began moving toward the Babel Tower, prompting Aiz to spring into action. Without hesitation, she jumped down from the roof, surprising Tiona, Tione, and Lefiya.
"Hey, Aiz!" Tiona shouted, rushing to the edge of the rooftop alongside the others, watching as Aiz made her way to the Babel Tower, with the Underworld Castle lingering nearby.
"Is she going to the Dungeon?" Lefiya asked, trying to make sense of Aiz's sudden movement.
"I don't think she's planning to go to the Dungeon at all," Tione responded with a deeply concerned expression. She turned to Tiona and Lefiya. "Me and Tiona will go after her. Lefiya, go and tell the captain and the others about Aiz!"
"Yes!" Lefiya replied, swiftly going for the stairs while Tione and Tiona jumped down the roof and pursued Aiz.
"What is Aiz planning to do?" Tiona wondered aloud as they leaped from one building's roof to another, tailing the determined Sword Princess.
"I don't know, but I've got a bad feeling about where she's going!" Tione exclaimed, the urgency evident in her voice. The two continued their chase, intent on discovering Aiz's intentions and providing any support she might need.
Aiz, meanwhile, pressed forward with a mix of determination and desperation in her mind.
'I need to know!' Aiz runs faster as she looks like someone mad with her own goal.
In the vicinity of the Babel Tower, numerous adventurers gazed up at the Underworld Castle ominously suspended in the air. The castle hovered in silence until rumbling noises emanated from one section, signaling the slow opening of its front main gate.
Inside the castle, Zagreus stood, observing the gates unfold before he turned his head upon hearing approaching footsteps from behind.
"I can't believe you didn't finish them in time, Ploutos," Melinoe exclaimed as she, along with the other Kaisers, approached Zagreus. The group was clad in black armor and gear, with Ploutos receiving a discontented look. The red-haired elf, Melinoe, wore her usual outfit but added black and red leather arm and leg guards. Her hair was tied in a ponytail, with a portion left free to cover the left side of her face. "We had to resort to our old gear because of it," she continued.
"If you want to complain, complain about yourself. I repaired all your gears, except for Zagreus, who took care of his as I asked him to," Ploutos retorted with an annoyed expression, the Iron God Kaiser sporting his usual attire and carrying a large silver-gray battle hammer leaned against his right shoulder.
"We complain about you because you're the Blacksmith here, remember?" Polemos, the Arc Kaiser, chimed in, wearing his outfit minus his coat and wielding a long tomahawk that he raised and then slammed onto the floor. "You used to fix our gear in a single hour back then; now you can't? Are you getting old?"
"I need materials, bolts for brains!" Ploutos barked back. "In case you haven't noticed, we don't have any more in storage!" he then points a finger at Polemos. "And I'm still younger than you by a few years, remember?!"
"Can we just get to the Dungeon, get the materials, and get this over with?" Makaria interjected. The Mage Kaiser wore her usual outfit but had black and white armor attached around her shoulders and waist. "We've got a lot on our plate and it'd be best if we get this over with so we can finish everything."
"Agreed," Thalia nodded. The Saint Kaiser had the same armor equipment as the Mage Kaiser and wielded her staff at her side. She then directed her gaze towards Zagreus. "But is it a wise decision, Zagreus? For all of us to leave Bell without anyone to supervise him in the Underworld Castle?"
"She's got a point there," Melinoe added, and the other Kaisers looked at the Bloody Kaiser who stood in front of them. "Even if it is the Underworld Castle, this place isn't a perfect solid fortress without one of us inside, right?"
"The Underworld Castle will ascend to the sky once we've descended upon Orario," Zagreus stated as he turned to look back at the fully opened gate. "I've commanded the Skeletal Servant to watch over Bell while also fortifying the castle's defense mechanism. Only a fool would dare approach our Home."
"But there are a lot of fools in Orario now, remember?" Makaria noted, waving her hand to the side. "Lots of them are full of stupid bravado, but some are mindless like those under that bitch, right?"
Zagreus glanced back at Makaria before turning his attention forward. His helmet formed upon his head, and his eyes glowed under the visor.
"Head straight for the 50th floor, and the rest is as planned," Zagreus declared before walking straight out of the Underworld Castle and then jumping off.
"Looks like we're going with the old 'go, get, and repeat' plan, huh?" Ploutos remarked as he followed after Zagreus, with Melinoe and the others doing the same.
"this is going to be a pain in the ass." Polemos growled out.
"less complaining and more action, Polemos-nii." Makaria told him off.
All the Kaisers leaped off the Underworld Castle, hovering a few hundred feet above the ground, landing directly on the street where a crowd had gathered. As the group touched down, the Underworld Castle began to ascend to the sky.
Zagreus and the Kaisers landed gracefully, dropping to one knee before rising to their feet, attracting the attention of the onlookers. They then headed towards the Dungeon's entrance, leaving a trail of curious bystanders in their wake.
"Melinoe, Makaria, and Ploutos, you three are with me," Zagreus declared, striding past staring adventurers who instinctively backed away. "Polemos and Thalia will remain behind and wait."
"Considering how much we need to restock, we might have to do some harvesting on our way down," Melinoe suggested, adjusting her arm guards. "Is that okay with you, Zagreus?"
"Hasten your time if you can," Zagreus replied, turning his head slightly. "I don't wish to spend too much time within that domain."
"Shouldn't Polemos and Thalia go instead of me and Makaria?" Ploutos queried with a fatigued expression. "I mean, both of them are equal in speed with you and Melinoe, right?"
"You have a hammer while I have a tomahawk," Polemos retorted, shooting a pointed look at his brother. "Which one do you think is better for harvesting ore, knucklehead?"
"And I cannot create a portal as perfect as Makaria's, Brother Ploutos," Thalia added. "You'll have to deal with it for a temporary amount of time."
"I hate you two for pointing out the facts," Ploutos sighed.
"Go," Zagreus commanded as his eyes glowed. Melinoe and Makaria dashed towards the Dungeon's main entrance at an immeasurable speed. Ploutos grumbled in annoyance but followed suit, matching their pace.
Their rapid actions astonished a few adventurers who looked on in surprise and shock, as no one had ever seen anyone move that fast.
As the three Kaisers entered the Dungeon, Zagreus, Polemos, and Thalia walked to the main gate, standing and facing outward while wielding their weapons at their sides.
The remaining adventurers dared not venture into the Dungeon with the Kaisers guarding the entrance.
Amidst the silent stares, Aiz appeared on the scene. The Sword Princess scanned the surroundings before spotting Zagreus and the others.
"There…" Aiz murmured, heading straight for the Kaisers. However, Tione and Tiona intercepted her. "Tione? Tiona?"
"Aiz, were you going straight for the Kaisers?" Tiona asked with concern. "Why?"
The Sword Princess looked at her comrades before lowering her gaze. "I'm sorry, I can't tell you."
"You've been acting strange ever since the day you learned the Kaisers fought the Black Dragon," Tione added. "What's going on?"
"I can't tell you," Aiz replied, shaking her head. "All I can say is that I need to know whether or not the Kaisers slayed the Black Dragon."
"But why?" Tiona inquired. "Why do you have to know, Aiz?"
"I can't tell," Aiz said, hardening her gaze. "You wouldn't understand even if I told you."
"Aiz…" Tione muttered with a worried yet confused look towards her blonde friend.
Aiz looked at the two apologetically before quickly making her way towards the two Kaisers.
"Hey, Aiz!" Tiona called out as she and Tione hurried after Aiz.
Zagreus and the other Kaisers positioned themselves at the main entrance of the Dungeon, watching Aiz and her friends as they approached. The Sword Princess fixated her gaze on the Kaisers, and Zagreus met her eyes.
"What are you maggots looking at?" Polemos barked, his gaze unyielding and aimed at the trio.
Instantly, Aiz and her companions tensed up as a crimson red and green aura enveloped Polemos' body, radiating an astonishing amount of pressure. The force was so intense that nearby level 1-2 adventurers fell to their knees, trembling with fear.
A bead of sweat slid down the side of Aiz's face as she had never experienced such overwhelming pressure from anyone before. 'he's like the King…..no… more powerful!' the Sword Princess gulped a bit while assessing the level of power that Polemos has. 'level 7….no, he's above!'
'that Melinoe person was damn strong, but this guy is just as strong!' Tiona's whole body was shaking as she has never faced anyone with such power. 'is this guy really the third strongest of the Kaiser Familia!?'
'no way anyone from our familia can go against these guys!' Tione thought as she glanced at Thalia. 'the other person doesn't radiate power, but it must be a trick that the Kaisers would use in suppressing their power…' she then looks back at Zagreus who stands while having his arms crossed on his chest. 'in any matter. These guys are monsters beyond monsters!'
"hey, you're making me annoyed with how long you keep on being silent." Polemos said as he grips hold of his tomahawk's handle and he soon slams the bottom against the ground that made the area rumble. "get lost."
Aiz and the others felt threatened from his words as there is an air of danger spreading around.
'I have to… I have to know! I have to know!' Aiz yelled at herself as she firmed herself up before she moved forward and looks straight at Polemos with the bravest looking face that she could mustered. 'I have to know!'
"i-is….is the Black Dragon defeated?" Aiz spoke out. "is that monster… dead?"
Polemos looks at Aiz for a moment in silence before he scoffs with an annoyed face.
"me and the others are not inclined to answer a question from someone who is from that worthless Familia." Polemos said before glares at Aiz. "so I repeat my words. get lost, brat."
Aiz looks dejected for a moment, but she instantly looks firm and took a step forward.
"I need to know! That monster! I need to know everything you know about that monster!" Aiz exclaimed. 'You must know! Is that monster dead?! Is it slain?! Is my mother...?' The Sword Princess was about to continue her outburst but was halted when her face contorted in pain as Thalia's staff was slammed right onto her stomach. "Ah?!"
"Aiz!" Tione and Tiona shouted out as Aiz took a few steps back, clutching her stomach.
Polemos looked at Aiz, then glanced to the side at Thalia, who wielded her staff near him before swinging and slamming the bottom to the ground. "I had that brat," Polemos said to Thalia, who took a few steps and stood in front of him. "Why did you attack her before me?"
"If I didn't, not only would you have killed her on the spot, but there would be a 128-yard crater upon Orario," Thalia replied, her head turned to the side to look at Polemos. "And besides, it was my Familia that this maggot's Familia banished in the first place." She looked forward and slowly approached Aiz, who staggered back to Tione and Tiona. "You can do whatever you want with that bitch's Familia when the time comes, Brother Ploutos, but these maggots and their Familia are my prey to kill."
"you plan to stop here, Zagreus?" Polemos said to the Bloody Kaiser who just stands silently in his place.
"she can do whatever she like with that one." Zagreus stated while his eyes glows more brighter. "that one is a nuisance that needs to be exterminated."
"Aiz! You alright?!" Tiona exclaimed as she and Tione held Aiz's arms and looks at how pained her expression is. "Where does it hurt?!"
Tione looks at where Aiz got hit and was surprised when she sees that a part of her friend's attire is ripped and torn while exposing a very purple bruised injury on her stomach.
"She was only hit with a staff, but this wound is so heavy!" Tione said in shock before she caught sight of Thalia who is approaching them.
Tione and Tiona looks at Thalia who slowly walks towards them before she suddenly thrusts her staff forward.
"look out!" Tiona exclaimed as she, and Tione who grabbed Aiz instantly ducks from Thalia's staff thrust that caused a gust of air to be blown back.
"hey! What are you doing!?" Tione exclaimed angrily at Thalia before her face looks in surprise when she sees that the Saint Kaiser's staff is now held upwards before it was swung straight down.
CRACK!
Thalia's staff made direct contact with Tione's right shoulder and when it did, a loud bone cracking noises echoed and the Jormugand's pained scream followed.
"Tione!" Tiona cried out in shock as Thalia spins her staff to her side before she slammed the bottom to the ground while watching Tione go down to her knees as she holds her right arm with an extremely pained look on her face. She then looks at the Saint Kaiser with a baffled look. "Why you do that for!?"
"don't worry" Thalia said as she spins her staff in one hand while looking at Tiona. "I haven't forgotten about you."
Tiona looks shocked at Thalia who continues spinning her staff in one hand before she swings it straight at the amazon.
At a road a few blocks away from the Babel Tower. Finn, Riveria, Gareth, Bete, and Lefiya were running on the street as they are heading straight for the Dungeon.
"hurry!" Finn exclaimed as the group ran as fast as they could. "there's no telling what Aiz might do that would anger the Kaisers!"
"why did she go to them in the first place!?" Gareth exclaimed to Finn. "if she go to the Dungeon, I can understand. But why would she directly go to the Kaisers!?"
"could it be…" Riveria spoke out with a grim look before she looks at Finn. "we have to stop them from meeting, Finn!"
"I know!" Finn replied as the group continues to go straight for the Dungeon.
The Loki Familia got to the district area by the Babel Tower before they run towards the Dungeon's main entrance gate.
Bete who is at front with Finn started to sniff the air before looking surprised.
"I smell blood!" Bete growls out.
"Blood?" Lefiya asked in shock before she looks forward and soon stops in her tracks after seeing something that made her gasp hard.
Finn and the others stopped as they all looked shocked at what they see before them.
The fountain area by the Dungeon was destroyed as the water flooded out everywhere while bystander adventurers were fleeing the area, but upon the broken rubble is Tione who is unconcious and covered in darkish purple bruises. Tiona is found near her sister as she is just equally as bruised as she is, but she has broken and twister fingers on her hands while some blood trickled down her lips.
The Loki Familia looks horrified at their wounds, but they look by the fountain and were more shocked to see Thalia who held her staff forward but at the top part of its cross has Aiz who is hanging while dripping blood from her forehead and lips.
Thalia tilts her staff as Aiz fell forward, but the Saint Kaiser quickly spins her weapon and then slammed the part of the cross straight upon the Sword Princess' back that caused her to crash straight to the ground that cracks and breaks.
"Aiz-san!" Lefiya screamed in shock and horror.
Thalia looks down at Aiz's injured appearance before she looks at where Finn and the others are at.
"look at that, the rest of the maggots gathered." Thalia said as she spins her staff at her side before slamming the bottom to the ground. "how touching that they care for another." She then tilts her head to the right side. "it makes me sick to know that maggots like them can be called heroes by more maggots."
Thalia soon kicks Aiz as she sends her flying to the air before falling to the ground in a dust blowing crash.
"Aiz-san!" Lefiya screamed as she runs towards the Sword Princess and tended to her.
"that bitch!" Bete growled while planning to attack the Saint Kaiser, but Gareth stopped him.
"don't! Bete!" Gareth exclaimed. "You stood no chance against Melinoe, what makes you think facing Thalia is any different!? she's stronger than you or any of us!"
Bete growls in annoyance and frustration before he glares at Thalia who was joined by Polemos who came and stands near his sister.
"it's a gathering of old faces, huh!?" Polemos exclaimed out loud as he looks at the Loki Familia with a smug smirk. He then looks at the members one by one. "a smug brat of a pallum who just pisses us off, a dwarf who has no care for friends or allies from a different Familia" his eyes then landed onto Riveria who was given a disgusted look. "And an unfaithful high elf bitch who has the guts to show her face around us and our brother."
The Loki Familia's trio executives instantly look down with sad looks, but Riveria had a more guilty, sad, and heartbroken look on her face.
"they must be thinking that they're still top adventurers with us around, Brother Polemos." Thalia said with a smug tone. "I've seen lots of adventurers think that way just because they are level 4 and above. It's a very common thing these days."
"way too common." Polemos added with a chuckling smirk as he held his tomahawk to the side before leaning it back to his shoulders. "Those type of adventurers are nothing but barking out loud, but they don't have the bite with them." He then looks at Bete with a fake surprised look. "oh, sorry. I meant dogs because you're with them, right?"
"what the fuck you said!?" Bete shouted angrily.
"Bete! Don't!" Gareth exclaimed but the werewolf lungs straight at the two Kaisers. "BETE!"
"raaah!" Bete howled out as he swings a kick at Polemos but was intercepted by Thalia who swings and slams the cross of her staff straight at the werewolf's chest. "guh!?"
"so slow." Polemos said with a smirk before Thalia put more force to her staff's swing and then slams Bete straight to the ground that shatters upon his crash.
Grunting in pain, Bete coughs harshly while having a hand to his chest that now has a cross shaped purple bruise that grew.
"Bete-san!" Lefiya screamed out as she looks in shock because of how fast Bete gets taken down to the ground by the Saint Kaiser.
Thalia spins her staff with one hand as she spins it around before she held it above her head and then swings it down at Bete's right leg with so much force that the ground instantly explodes with dust while getting shattered even more.
"aagggh!" Bete howls in pain as the werewolf writhes around while his right leg is broken to the point that his knees is bended upwards with bones sticking out from underneath while trickling with blood.
"Bete!" Gareth shouted out as Bete continues to writhe in pain.
"Dogs like him sure can howl, huh?" Thalia said as she wields her staff by her side before she proceeds to slam the bottom straight onto Bete's stomach that made the werewolf cough out a lot of his blood while stopping his scream of pain. "That is much better."
"s-so cruel!" Lefiya gasped in horror from watching how Thalia brutally injured Bete.
Thalia raises her staff and slams the bottom to the ground by her side while looking down at Bete who is coughing blood while looking to be in excruciating pain.
"Maggots like this dog could never take out my Familia." Thalia said in a disgusted voice. "These lot just do what lowlife like them do. They just take advantage of everyone." She then proceeds to kick Bete to the air. "and I hate maggots like these the most!"
Bete flew in the air before he came crashing to a café a few feet away.
"Bete!" Finn cried out as he sees that the werewolf crashed into some bottle crates that were crushed when he fell. The pallum was about to go and help when Thalia suddenly appears before him. "T-Thalia!?"
The Saint Kaiser scoffs at the Pallum before she suddenly lungs her left hand and grabs the Braver by the face then lifts him off the ground.
"Finn!" Riveria cried out as she sees that Finn is grunting in in pain because of Thalia's grip on his face that started to tighten to the point that her nails were piercing into his skin and drawing out blood.
"hey, Thalia. You plan to hurt them all?" Polemos asked while placing a hand to his waist and turning towards where his sister is. "if you are, let me pummel Gareth for you." The Arc Kaiser then glanced with a dark look at the Elgram who tensed up. "I have a personal grudge with him after all that we've been through."
"don't you dare interfere, Brother Ploutos." Thalia said while tightening her grip on Finn's face. "they are all my prey. No one can harm them but me. I will get to that dwarf right after I deal with this pallum." Her eyes starts to glow red under her blindfold "this little brat is the one who I really want to hurt very badly…." Veins started to appear all around the Saint Kaiser's left hand while her grip on the pallum's face got more stronger. "I'm going to make this brat suffer tenfold for being too greedy for fame."
"agh… ahhh!" Finn starts to scream in pain as he could feel his own face getting crushed under the pressure of Thalia's grip.
"The pain of my Familia who were destroyed and banished…" Thalia said in a dark and angered voice. "I'LL MAKE YOU FEEL THEIR PAIN, BRAT."
Thalia continues to grip her hold on Finn's face before she went and slammed the pallum's whole body to the ground that breaks and shatters while causing a tremor to shake the land.
Finn grunted in pain as he could feel his whole body and bones rattle from the powerful force of the slam that definitely broke a few ribs or so.
The Saint Kaiser soon proceeds to raise him off the ground before slamming him straight back down multiple times.
Thalia's actions caused the land to shake terribly as the ground where she slammed Finn into just gets shattered and broken to the point that a hole in the shape of the pallum's body was made.
The Saint Kaiser lifts Finn up before she went and slammed him straight down to the hole that gets deeper while making more cracks spread around the area.
Thalia then lifts the pallum up once again as Finn wasn't moving nor making a noise because he was out cold after the 25th body slam to the ground.
"Thalia! Please stop! Please!" Riveria cried out as she went and grabbed Thalia's left arm that is holding Finn by the face. "I know you are enraged and in pain after losing your Familia, but we had to do it to ensure order for Orario!"
"don't touch me, you ungrateful back stabbing bitch!" Thalia shouted as she looks at Riveria while sending a glowing red glare that burns brightly under her blindfold. The Saint Kaiser drops Finn before she went and swings her left hand to the side and sends the Nine Hells flying a few feet away.
"ugh!" Riveria rolls on the ground for a few moment after falling to the ground, the high elf regaining her bearings as she slowly gets back up, but was soon face to face with the tip of Thalia's staff that the Saint Kaiser wields while standing before the High Elf. "ah!?"
"ensure order? You dare tell me that after everything that my Familia have done for Orario?" Thalia stated with a venomous and angered tone. "you've got the nerve to tell me that after what you've done to them!" the Saint Kaiser's eyes glows redder before her blindfold suddenly burns away to reveal her scarred, yet glowing red blind eyes that started to turn blue. "what Sister Melinoe has told me before was correct, you are an unfaithful and ungrateful backstabbing high elf bitch! I don't know how Zagreus can still even forgive you!"
Riveria looks at Thalia in shock as the Saint Kaiser raises her staff upwards and was about to swing it down upon the High Elf when she stopped because something tugs her weapon.
Thalia turns her head to the side and sees Zagreus holding the top tip of her cross.
"Z-Zagreus?" Riveria stuttered out as to see the Bloody Kaiser holding back the Saint Kaiser's weapon.
"What do you think you are doing, Zagreus?" Thalia said as she yanks her staff from the Bloody Kaiser's grasp and turns to face him.
"I'm stopping you from going overboard." Zagreus stated. "you can do whatever you want with the other foolish maggots of that useless goddess' Familia, but leave Riveria alone." He crosses his arms. "She is useful to us because she is the princess of the Alf Forest and we cannot have any conflict with them."
"What an excuse considering how you want to forgive her." Polemos calls out as he got near the Bloody Kaiser while having a very hardened expression on his face. "You told us that your promised Meteria that you would do what is right to protect her child, but making that excuse doesn't actually work well for that promise, doesn't it?" his eyes then glows red for a moment. "so? What's your real excuse for protecting her?"
"Ensuring the safety of Orario's future is the same as ensuring my promise is kept." Zagreus said as he turns his head and sends a glowing yet menacing glare at Polemos. "do you have a problem with that?"
Polemos looks at Zagreus as he glares back at his brother while sparks of electricity started to discharge around his arms and down to his tomahawk.
"you are only protecting her out of what?" Polemos growls with an irritated look on his face. "out of pity? Out of mercy? or is it out of the good will that she and her Familia had given to Orario during our absence?" the Arc Kaiser's eyes glows even more before discharging bolts of electricity. "you know better that my rage and that of Thalia's won't ever subside after the loss of our Familias."
"That high elf bitch and her maggot infested Familia aren't worth forgiving after what they've done to our Familias" Thalia added in as she wields her staff to the side and began to spin it around while her eyes begins to glow darkish green aura started to radiate around her body. "Do you really believe that people like them deserve forgiveness, Zagreus?"
Zagreus looks at the two as they were radiating power while facing him, intimidating Riveria and anyone nearby.
"Everyone deserves a second chance." Zagreus said as he raise his right hand and formed a very hard fist that has blueish black flames igniting upon it. "Even for those who betrayed our trust once."
"so you forgive everyone? even those who caused the pain of others who we were close with?" Polemos said as he grips his hold on his weapon. "Can you really forgive them after causing the hardship and suffering that Meteria had to endure alone those years ago, Zagreus?"
The Bloody Kaiser went silent for a moment before he slowly nods his head.
"Meteria understood what had to be done to ensure Orario wouldn't fall into chaos." Zagreus said in a small voice as he tilts his head down a bit. "She asked me to never allow my rage and anger to overcome me and that I should remain as who I am on the day i lost her." the Kaiser quieted down as he grips his burning right fist harder. "out of anyone, she is the one who suffered and endured the most torturous pain of them all." his blazing right fist began to shake "I could do nothing to ease that pain of hers nor could I even save her from her suffering." The armored man looks down for a moment before he raise it up and looks at Polemos. "but what I can do for her now.." the blueish black flames on his right fist grew larger and began to climb up to his shoulder "…..is to prevent her sacrifice from becoming in vain."
Seeing Zagreus' action made Polemos and Thalia ready their weapons while going into a battle stance against the Bloody Kaiser.
"Are you planning to fight us just to protect a bunch of worthless maggots?" Thalia said as she wields her staff by her side with one hand while the other is raised in a guard fashion. "all for her?"
"If it's to keep my promise to her and ensure that her actions were not in vain…." Zagreus said as he turns his head towards Thalia and his eyes flashes underneath his helmet's visor. "then so be it."
"You really think we will hold back against you?" Polemos said as his whole body gets coated in static of blue electricity that dances and surges upon his tomahawk. "our Familia are gone and you tell us to get over it? like hell!" The Arc Kaiser spins his weapon by his right side before he swings it to the side and points the tip towards Zagreus. "you lost Meteria, but I also lost Alfia who I will avenge no matter the cost!"
Zagreus glares at the Arc Kaiser as the blueish black flames grew and covers a part of his helmet that becomes a dark burning silhouette with a glowing red eye.
There is now a dead silent yet heavily tense atmosphere that spread within the air as the three Kaisers stood in a stand-off against one another.
Zagreus stands in between Polemos and Thalia as his cape flutters around behind him because of the immense amount of power that he is unleashing to counter against the power that the other two Kaisers are unleashing against him.
Riveria and the others looks in shock and fright as they could feel the power that the Kaisers are unleashing, and it is a power that no adventurer in Orario could ever surpass.
The three Kaisers continued to have their deadly silent stand off as their radiating power just clashed against one another in a battle of the mind while the land started to have a growing tremor that continues to become stronger by the passing second.
By a café where Bete had crashed in. a piece of rock is hanging by a broken rubble as it is shaking because of the tremor that shook the land. The small piece of stone shakes and trembles before it fell and made a small thunk of a sound when it hit the ground.
Upon that little rock's fall to the ground, Polemos and Thalia instantly lunges in straight at Zagreus with their weapons readied for the attack. The Bloody Kaiser went into action as well as he grips his burning right fist as the flames grew even more.
Before the three Kaisers could meet and duke it out, a pair of hands and the blade of a sword came in and a dust explosion instantly erupts in between the three.
Riveria shielded her eyes from the dust that blows out as she grunted from how heavy the wind is blowing the dust.
A few seconds passes as the dust settled down. Riveria lowers her hands that shielded her eyes and face then looks in pure surprise because she sees that Zagreus, Polemos, and Thalia were stopped in their places by Melinoe and Makaria who appeared in between them.
Melinoe had her right-hand grab hold of Polemos' Tomahawk by its blade while her left hand holds back Zagreus' flaming fist that is sizzling, Makaria on the other hand wields her Kaiser Blade that is pushing its blade against Thalia's staff.
"you two are on his side?" Polemos said with a growl as he is pushing his tomahawk forward, but Melinoe held the weapon in place. "Why?"
"we're not on Zagreus' side or your side or anyone's side." Melinoe replied as she grips her hold on Polemos' tomahawk. "we're doing this to ensure that you three won't fight one another."
"Rule no 4 and 6 of the Kaiser Familia." Makaria said as she pushes her Kaiser Blade forward and pushed back Thalia's staff from her. "Members of the Kaiser Familia are not allowed to fight one another for any reasons and members of the Kaiser Familia are to prevent and stop conflict between Kaisers from occurring." She then swings her sword to the side before sheathing it away. "We all took an oath to follow the rules that we made for ourselves. Disobeying the rules would mean that you are casting away your pride and becoming the same lowlife as the maggots who we dispose of."
"Rule number 36 of the Kaiser Familia," Thalia stated as she wielded her staff by her side, slamming the bottom against the ground. "Members of the Kaiser Familia are allowed to overrule previous rules and act accordingly to their own will to exact justice upon those who have done us pain and harm." She then waved a hand over her face, and a white blindfold appeared to cover her blind eyes. "Zagreus is protecting the maggots who have betrayed us. You really think the first few rules can apply, Makaria?"
"They can if you remember that Rule number 1 is the only rule that is not allowed to be overruled by any other rules," Melinoe stated as she pushed away Polemos and his tomahawk, then looked at Zagreus, who pulled back his burning right fist. The red-haired elf then turned to look at Polemos, who held his tomahawk up before leaning it against his shoulders. "Which is what, Polemos?"
The Arc Kaiser looked annoyed at the Blade Kaiser, clicking his tongue while looking away.
"Members of the Kaiser Familia must always obey the orders and commands from the leader of the Familia," Polemos grumbled out while turning to the side. "No matter what."
"That's right," Melinoe said with a nod as she looked at Polemos for a moment before turning to look at Zagreus. "And our current leader ordered us to follow with his commands of not harming the Loki Familia." She then glanced at Riveria with her right eye that glowed menacingly red. "That is… for now."
"Do not even think about it, Melinoe," Zagreus said as he turned his head slightly towards the Blade Kaiser. "You will regret going against me."
"Is that so?" Melinoe asked with a slightly smug smirk on her face. "I happen to be the fastest amongst us." She then raised her hands to her side and shrugged her shoulder while having a carefree look. "It won't even take me a minute to just… I don't know? Kill the brat's Familia when they are all asleep?"
In an instant, Zagreus and Melinoe suddenly clashed in a split second as the Bloody Kaiser sent a punch against the Blade Kaiser, who blocked with a right leg's knee strike that instantly caused a powerful gust of air to blow out from contact.
"Do you really wish to anger me, Melinoe?" Zagreus asked in a voice that slowly turned dark and deep. The Bloody Kaiser's eyes glowed menacingly under his helmet as he glared at Melinoe. "Do you?"
Melinoe, in turn, looked at Zagreus with her right eye that glowed menacingly red, returning the glare that her brother is sending her way.
Both the 1st and 2nd strongest of the Kaiser Familia stood in a standoff against one another as there was an extremely heavy atmosphere that grew between the two.
This standoff continued as Riveria felt her air growing thin, making it hard to breathe.
After a few minutes of dead silence between the Kaisers passed, it took only another minute before Melinoe lowered her right leg down and Zagreus pulled his fist back.
"Once everything is done and settled, it will be time to appoint a new leader for the Kaiser Familia," Melinoe said with a hardened gaze directed at Zagreus. "You won't be able to protect them forever. Remember that as a promise, Zagreus."
Zagreus didn't reply as he merely nodded his head before he turned his head to look at Makaria.
"Is Ploutos still harvesting the needed items?" Zagreus said as Makaria nodded.
"He should be done by now," Makaria replied as she waved a hand to the side, and a portal appeared.
From within the portal came out Ploutos, who looked annoyed yet serious while wielding his battle hammer that is leaned against his right shoulder.
"We should really learn to get along after being separated for 14 years," Ploutos said as he looked with a hard gaze at the other Kaisers. "Orario is our home, and it'll get destroyed if any of you fight." He then sighed while closing his eyes for a second. "Can't believe I'm the mature one for once."
"Did you finish harvesting all that we need to proceed with the plan, Ploutos?" Zagreus said to the Iron God Kaiser.
"Yeah, I collected everything that we need," Ploutos said as he pointed a thumb over his left shoulder. "It's at the back."
Zagreus nodded before he turned towards Makaria, who waved a hand forward and then extended her fingers out to make the portal enlarge its size.
Soon, from the large portal came out large boulder-sized chunks of magic stones that floated out one by one.
"By the way, the ores are in a bigger size," Ploutos said as he walked a few steps to the side and looked at the portal that enlarged even more for huge and insanely large, yet wide boulders made of pure Orichalcum ores. "Along with the drop items too."
In a minute, there were dozens of boulders floating in the air, many comprising magic stones, others Orichalcum ores, and Monster's drop items.
"This should last us for a few months or so," Melinoe said upon seeing the floating boulders. She then looked at Zagreus. "Call it down."
The Bloody Kaiser's eyes glowed under his helmet, and the Underworld Castle descended from the sky and hovered right above the Kaiser Familia.
Zagreus then snapped his fingers, and rumbling noises were heard from the floating castle that had its bottom podium opening a large round gate from which the boulders floated in so that they entered the Underworld Castle.
"Ploutos, get to work with Melinoe and the others' gears," Zagreus said to the Iron God Kaiser. "We need them finished in three days."
"I could've finished them better and faster if these lot took care of their gears like I told them to," Ploutos replied with an accusing look at the other Kaisers who merely shrugged or huffed in response.
"Just get it done," Zagreus stated before he turned his head to look at Melinoe and the other Kaisers. "The rest of you. Proceed as planned."
Melinoe and the other Kaisers nodded before they all jumped and flew towards the Underworld Castle.
Zagreus stayed behind as he was about to follow, but the armored man turned his head to look at Riveria, who was on the ground and was looking at him.
"Zagreus…." Riveria whispered out to the Bloody Kaiser who looked at her before he turned his head to the front.
"This is the last time I can protect you, Riveria," Zagreus said in a soft voice as he snapped his fingers, and the wounds and injuries of Aiz and the others were healed in an instant. "There is no second time."
Riveria looked at Zagreus with slightly widening eyes before she saw the Bloody Kaiser crouching down and then jump straight to the Underworld Castle.
The High Elf watched as the Kaiser Familia's Home closed the gate on its bottom before it began to ascend to the sky.
A few hours after the Kaisers returned to the Underworld Castle with their acquired materials from the Dungeon. The citizens of Orario became in fear and tense as Thalia's actions in brutally injuring the members of the Loki Familia while also destroying the district area by the Babel Tower caused panic and terror to spread uncontrollably.
The day is slowly disappearing as the night is coming soon.
At the temporary base of the Loki Familia, things there are quite hectic because of the early day incident.
"h-h-h-h-how could this have had happened!?" Loki stuttered out while looking incredibly scared and pale. "it was bad enough for us being on the Kaiser's bad side, but hearing that one of my own kiddies went and got them on the offensive!? What the heck happened!?"
"that's what we would like to know ourselves." Gareth said as he is standing in front of the goddess with Finn and the others. "We just got there and find Thalia terribly beating up Aiz and the others. Afterwards is what I have told you, Loki."
"Why is this happening~!?" Loki screams in anguish. 'I mean I know was in the wrong to just take Hera's place and all, but I had to do it to make sure that Freyja won't get too powerful in Orario!' she then grabs her hair and pulls on it. "but now with the Kaisers back, my ass is going to get kicked and burned in hell! How did it come to this!?" the goddess fell to her knees and starts to pray with her hand clasped together tight. "to any possible force in the sky and stars above~! Please~! Please~! Please grant me luck and protection from the Kaiser's wrath! Please~!"
Loki continues to pray to herself while being watched by Finn and the others who sweatdrops to the goddess' action.
"I believe it is time to get all of our answers from the three of you." Finn said as he turns to look at Aiz, Tione, and Tiona. "it is time for you three to talk on what did you did to cause the Kaisers to attack you."
"We didn't do anything!" Tiona cried out. "they were the ones who attacked first!"
"rather than that, they attacked because Aiz asked them about the Black Dragon." Tione stated as everyone soon looks at the Sword Princess who is silent. "She was the one who got attacked first."
"Aiz, did you offend the Kaisers when you ask your question?" Finn said to the blonde swordswoman who is just silent while looking down with an expressionless face. "Aiz?"
Aiz remains quiet as she just looks down at the ground.
'they were too strong' Aiz thought as her mind relived the moment when Thalia brutally beat her and her friends down to the ground like they were nothing. 'too strong…' she then hardens her gaze and expression. 'if I can become as strong as they are…'
"Aiz!" Tiona's voice yelled out loud to the Sword Princess who snaps out of her trance and looks to see that she is surrounded by the Amazon and Lefiya.
"w-what?" Aiz asked in a rather surprised tone.
"you asked what…" Tiona said. "you didn't respond even after we called you ten times, you know?!"
"i-i…" Aiz spoke out before she turns to see Riveria standing near.
"Aiz, what were you thinking about?" the high elf asked with a hardened expression. "were you thinking about the Kaisers?"
Aiz looks at the Nine Hells for a moment before she looks down with a frowning face.
"I wanted… I wanted to know…" Aiz spoke out. "they fought against that monster… they know how it fights and.." her frown grew and her hands formed very hard fists. "they're strong… I need to become as strong as they are."
"I see…" Riveria whispered while placing a hand to her forehead and massage it a few times. "this would explain why you were all beaten up by Thalia."
"but why they heck they need to beat us up just because Aiz asked a question about the Black Dragon?" Tiona said. "I mean, everyone in the world would want to know if the last Monster of the Three Great Quests have been slayed or not, right? It's the one monster that the Zeus and Hera Familia couldn't beat, right?"
"if a simple minded fool like you talk like that when Thalia or Polemos-nii is around, you'd already be dead." Makaria's voice spoke out as this alarmed the Loki Familia who looks up and sees the Mage Kaiser floating in the air above their heads. "Seems that you fools really do need a beating."
"M-Makaria?!" Loki screams in shock to see the Mage Kaiser who slowly descends from the air and stands upon the ground near the group who had backed away from her.
"what? you all look like you are very scared of me." Makaria said with a smirk under her mask.
"w-why are you here?" Finn stuttered while holding his right hand as his thumb is aching terribly.
"if I say that I'm going to kill you all right here and right now?" Makaria said who crosses her arms under her chest. "would that suffice as an answer?"
Her reply got the Loki Familia to tense up as they got ready for a possible fight.
Makaria looks at the group before she scoffs once.
"what a bunch of cowards." Makaria said as she uncrosses her arms and place her hands on her waist. "so easy to be frightened with a little lie." She chuckles a few times. "I guess this is why Melinoe-nee asked me to let her do it, huh?"
"just what the fuck are you here for, bitch!?" Bete shouted out with a growl.
"haaa….this must be the dog that Polemos-nii was talking about." Makaria said with an annoyed voice as she turns towards Bete and then snaps her fingers once. "I got no business with you, so shut up."
"hah?" Bete growls before chains appeared out of nowhere and wraps around his entire body, causing him to go off balance and fell. The werewolf struggles while growling but his mouth get snapped shut by a rope that tied around his head "guh!?"
"anyone else wants to end up like him?" Makaria said as she turns towards the other Loki Familia members with her right hand pointed towards them, ready to snap her fingers.
Finn and the others merely backed away in response while shaking their heads in reply.
"good." Makaria said as she lowers her right hand and then turns to face Riveria. "now then…" she flips her left hand once and she now holds a golden yet silver coin in between her fingers. "here"
Riveria looks at Makaria who threw the coin to her and she quickly catches it.
"this is?" Riveria muttered as she checks the coin that has the black insignia sign of a skeleton covered in flames, ice, and lightning bolts.
"that's from Zagreus." Makaria said as she crosses her arms under her chest. "Think of it as your last ticket to survive against our wrath the next time one of your so called comrades try to attack a Kaiser."
Riveria looks at Makaria for a moment before to the coin in her grasp.
"there won't be a replacement if you lose it, so keep it safe and close with you." Makaria said who turns around and began walking away.
"wait!" Aiz suddenly cries out as Makaria stops and turns her head to look at the Sword Princess' direction. "I need to know!"
"Aiz-san!?" Lefiya look in surprise at the Sword Princess with the others.
"need to know what, brat?" Makaria said who turns around to face Aiz.
"The Black Dragon…" Aiz spoke out. "I need to know if it's still alive or not."
"for what reason do you need to know about that beast?" Makaria said as she uncrosses her arms and place a hand to the top handle of her Kaiser Blade. "you want to kill it or something?"
"I need to know if its still alive or not.." Aiz said with a desperate and serious looking face. "I need to know."
"you want to know, huh?" Makaria stated while tilting her head to the side. "for starters, we Kaisers fought against it head on, but it escaped us when we were about to kill it." She then crosses her arms again. "we searched for its whereabouts for 14 years, but found no trace of its tracks anywhere around the world." She shrugs her shoulders. "it literally disappeared without a trace."
"it disappeared…" Aiz muttered out before she hardens her expression while looking at Makaria. "tell me how to fight it! I need to know how to fight it if it returns!"
"Why should I tell you that?" Makaria said while tilting her head a bit back. "it won't do you any good because you're way too weak to fight against it." she then raise a hand and waves it a few times. "someone like you won't last a few seconds against that beast, let alone fight it."
"but I can get stronger!" Aiz cried out. "you Kaisers can help me get stronger! I!"
Aiz was cut off in her sentence by Makaria who had drawn out her Kaiser Blade and points the tip of its sharp edge near her neck.
"we Kaisers will help you get stronger, you say?" Makaria said as she slowly leans the blade of her weapon closer to Aiz's neck. "where did you get the idea that we will help someone like you get stronger, huh? Where?"
"i-I need to get stronger… I have to…" Aiz spoke out with a bead of sweat sliding down the side of her cheek as she sees how the weapon's blade is pressing against the skin of her neck. "it took away my mother and killed my father… I need to get stronger… to get her back."
"so… you're like the many other people who lost something to that beast, huh?" Makaria said as she tilts her head back. "I don't give a damn about your circumstances, but the answer is a no." she leans her head down and her eyes began to glow red under her blindfold. "no Kaiser would ever want to help a fool such as yourself. We've seen a lot of fools go mad about getting stronger, only to end up dead and forgotten." She then pulls her sword back and sheaths it away. "and besides, your mother must already be dead by now."
"no! she's not dead!" Aiz cried out in a big outburst. "She was taken away! She is still alive!"
"and what's your proof?" Makaria said as she takes a few steps away from Aiz. "we Kaisers fought against that beast and saw no signs of a woman anywhere near its nest." She then turns to look at the Sword Princess. "face it, brat. Your mother is already dead."
"NO! SHE'S NOT!" Aiz exclaimed loudly as she draws out her Desperate and jumps straight at Makaria.
"Aiz! What are you doing!? Stop!" Riveria exclaimed as everyone looks wide eyes at Aiz who thrusts her sword at the Mage Kaiser.
Makaria saw Aiz's attempt as she just stands still before leaning back to dodge a sword thrust by the Sword Princess who soon gets grabbed at the neck by the Mage Kaiser.
"ugh!?" Aiz gasped as she was raised high in the air by Makaria who grips the hold on her neck.
"using violence because someone disagrees with you, huh?" the Mage Kaiser spoke in annoyed voice. "Zagreus was right, you're not someone Bell should've ever met."
Aiz's eyes widen to hear Bell's name, but her thought was stopped when Makaria slammed her to the ground and begins to choke her.
"Aiz-san!" Lefiya cries out as she tried to help but Riveria stopped her, in fear that she would get the same treatment if she interfered.
"listen well, brat." Makaria said as she looks down at Aiz. "there's only one person in this world who could kill that monster and that's Zagreus. He's the only man who could kill that monster and he won't ever help a selfish and idiotic brat like you get to be as strong as he is." She then cocks her head to the side. "you're nothing but a weak child who is stuck in a dark room all by herself." She then takes off her blindfold to reveal her scarred eyes. "and that is something that won't ever change no matter what."
Aiz looks shocked to see Makaria's scarred eyes before she was lifted up and thrown away by the Mage Kaiser.
"Aiz/-san!" Tiona and Lefiya went to Aiz as they tended to her.
"remember, brat. You're weak and you're always weak." Makaria said as she looks down on the Sword Princess before she turns around and puts her blindfold back on. "we Kaisers, especially Zagreus won't ever help a brat with such a revenge driven and selfish goal…" She then slightly turns her head and showed a red eye glowing under her blindfold. "and we hate brats who dare try to use our nephew too."
Makaria began to float off the ground as she ascends in the air and flew straight for the Underworld Castle that is ascending into the night sky.
Everyone watches as Makaria flew away and soon disappear into the Underworld Castle that is slowly disappearing into thin air.
"damn that bitch!" Bete growls as he is freed from the chains that disappeared when Makaria left.
"Aiz, stop!" Tiona cried out as everyone sees that Aiz is hastily taking a few steps forward while looking at the Underworld Castle that disappeared.
Aiz's face formed a frustrated expression as she grips her fists very hard.
"this isn't good…" Gareth said as Finn nodded in agreement.
"if Aiz keeps this up…" Finn spoke out. "the Kaisers will kill her."
Riveria looks at Aiz with a worried frown but she began to think on what Makaria had spoken a few moments before.
'She said Bell Cranel's name… and then nephew..' Riveria began thinking as she cups her chin and rubs it a few times. 'a nephew? Since when did Makaria ever had a nephew?' the high elf soon had a realization coming into her mind as she sees Bell's face alongside with Zagreus' face. 'i-it can't be…'
"t-they're…" Riveria muttered out as she place a hand to her mouth that had gasp. "they are…"
"Riveria-sama? Are you alright?" Lefiya calls out to the high elf who is looking shocked to the core and isn't responding to her voice. "Riveria-sama?"
"his mother would be…" Riveria whispers before having a flashback of herself meeting Meteria in the past. "…Meteria.."
"Riveria? Are you alright?" Gareth looks at Riveria and sees her unusual behavior. "Riveria? What's the matter?"
The high elf just continues to look shocked before she began to stagger around and takes a few steps back then bumps to a large pillar like rubble then slides down to the ground.
"Riveria-sama?!" Lefiya cried out as she looks extremely surprised and confused to the high elf's behavior.
"how could I have not realized it until now..?" Riveria whispered as her eyes were shaking. "they're…"
The Loki Familia looks at Riveria as they are completely confused on what is wrong with her.
Meanwhile in the Underworld Castle, Bell is currently in a humongous library filled with countless books. The young man is reading a story book about a hero in a fantasy tale as he seems engrossed because of how intently he is looking into the written story.
"Nearing the climax?" a voice called out as it snaps Bell out of his intent reading, he turns his head and sees Melinoe standing beside him while looking at the story in the book before looking at her nephew. "you really love stories of heroes, huh?"
"wawawawa! Aunt Melinoe!" Bell screamed in surprise as he didn't realize that one of his aunts is suddenly standing beside him. "w-when!?"
"you really asking me that, Bell?" Melinoe asked with an amused smile. 'I've called you three times and you didn't reply, you know?' She then chuckles while crossing her arms under her chest. "it was only until I spoke just a moment ago did you respond."
"uh… i-i…" Bell spoke before he looks embarrassed. "sorry."
"it's fine." Melinoe said while ruffling Bell's hair. "seeing how engrossed you were with those hero stories just reminded me of Zagreus who did the same back when he was your age."
"Dad likes to read stories of heroes?" Bell asked as Melinoe nodded.
"not likes, he loves to read them back then." the Blade Kaiser stated with a finger pointed out. "all the story books here are all his collection, you know?"
"Every single one?" Bell asked.
"Every single one." Melinoe replied before she patted Bell's head. "it's not a surprise you are so engrossed in reading one considering who your father is."
Bell closed one eye as Melinoe continues to pat his head a few more times.
"now then." The Blade Kaiser turns after finished patting her nephew's head. "It's about time you and I get out of the library."
"eh? Why?" Bell asked before seeing Melinoe point to the side as he looks and sees a window appearing that showed the night sky. "eh? It's already night?!"
"you've been reading for a while after all." Melinoe said while chuckling. "You were so engrossed that you forgot about the time, huh?"
Bell looks embarrassed once again as he soon placed the story book back where he found it before he left the library with Melinoe who accompanied him to the kitchen to make a meal for him.
As the two walked in the hallway and heads for the kitchen, there is a commotion occurring in another room at another hallway.
The room leads to a large silverish black chamber where there are dozens of torches hanged on the walls and lit the room. Loud echoes of metal bashing metal are heard as Makaria is present as she is looking upon a battle that is before her.
Metal bashing against metal that results in sparks of fire just flying everywhere. Ploutos stands and bare witness as Polemos and Thalia attack Zagreus with their weapons.
The Arc Kaiser and the Saint Kaiser work together with a double sided attack as both readied their weapons that they swung fast and hard at Zagreus who blocked with both of his arms raised to his sides.
The floor below the Bloody Kaiser rumbles and shakes as the power behind the two former Zeus and Hera Familia's adventurers were immense.
Zagreus pushes and struggles his arms against both of his siblings' weapons before he pushed them away and then proceeds to backflip.
Polemos and Thalia quickly chased after Zagreus as they disappeared into a blur before they appeared above and below the Bloody Kaiser's position.
The Saint Kaiser is above as she wields her Saint Staff above her head while Polemos is behind the Bloody Kaiser with his tomahawk readied behind him.
Zagreus saw their positions before his eyes glows and then flashes under his helmet.
CLANG! BANG! POW!
Before anyone could even blink, Thalia and Polemos were sent flying and crashing to the walls as both grunted before falling.
Zagreus stands in his place as he has both hands outstretched to the sides before he slowly stood up straight with his arms lowered down.
"that's enough." Ploutos called out with a hand raised to the side. "Zagreus is the winner."
"damnit….." Polemos growled in annoyance as he got back up with Thalia. The Arc Kaiser wields his tomahawk before leaning it against his right shoulder. "we nearly had him."
"I don't think we did." Thalia said as she cracks her neck side to side, bone popping noises are heard. "He had us in his play before we even begun to battle."
"no whining nor complaining from the both of you." Ploutos stated as he walked towards Zagreus. "you both lost in the duel, therefore you have to follow with what Zagreus has ordered for you two to do without complaint."
"we know." Polemos said as he and Thalia got near with their weapons just disappearing into sparkles. "so? What do you want us to do?"
Zagreus looks at Polemos and Thalia while his helmet expands and detach its pieces to reveal his face.
"Abide to my command and do not act rash without my consent." Zagreus stated before he turns and started walking to the chamber's door. "also, you two are given the task to look after Bell until I say otherwise."
"wait a minute." Thalia called out as Zagreus stops in his steps and turns his head to the side to glance at the Saint Kaiser "you've been avoiding Bell ever since you had the talk with him about his crush and have been ordering us to look after him in your stead" the Saint Kaiser then crosses her arms. "he's your son, and you should be looking after him instead of us. He's your responsibility, remember?"
"I will look after him in my own way." Zagreus replied before he turns and continued walking towards the doorway. "you do not need to remind me, Thalia."
"As much as I am supposed to stay neutral in this conversation, Thalia is right, Zagreus." Ploutos stated while pointing a thumb towards the Saint Kaiser. "You can't avoid him forever just because you two had a disagreement with each other."
Zagreus stops once again for a moment before he walks towards the door that opens on its own, the Bloody Kaiser left the chamber and the other three Kaisers behind.
"he's going to mess up, won't he?" Polemos asked while crossing his arms and glancing his eyes towards his two sisters. "Will Bell be alright having him as a father?"
"don't jinx it, Polemos." Ploutos retorted to the Arc Kaiser while crossing his arms. "every time you jinx something, it will affect our whole Familia badly."
"Just saying." Polemos replied while shrugging his shoulders.
"still…" Thalia spoke while sighing as she uncrosses her arms and turns to face her two siblings. "Zagreus has clearly been avoiding Bell after their talk, when does he plan to calm things down?"
"I don't know." Ploutos replied while shaking her head before he turns towards the door that is now closed. "But if its Zagreus, it may be sooner or later." he then shrugs his shoulders. "who knows when he'll do it?"
