Sitting in her bed Regina impatiently watched the time go by. She had finally got the okay from the doctor to leave the hospital tomorrow and she couldn't wait. She was sick and tired of hospital food and her sister fussing over every minute. She loved that Zelena had been the one sitting with her through the rough times especially since she wasn't talking or seeing Samedi. In fact, she hadn't seen him since he confessed what he did which was three weeks ago. They both need space and Regina knew it.

She had been moved to the recovery ward which meant she was surrounded by a lot of doctors, nurses, and patients. She kind of missed the quietness of the first room she was in as she liked to be alone with her thoughts but one more day wouldn't hurt. Her injuries had healed up nicely over the last couple of weeks and Regina was happy to be able to move about the ward without being fussed over. She had spent the last three days walking about the hospital gardens without shrieking in bad which was a good sign in her recovery.

Fed up at looking at the clock on the wall in front of her Regina let her eyes wander to the children's decorations around the ward. She took in the beautiful decorations and couldn't help but smile. Bringing up memories of Henry when he was little always brought happiness to Regina. She wanted to put an end to the curse and save her son but being here wouldn't make it happen.

" Roni nice to see you, you are looking well today." Turning around at the sudden voice Regina's smile quickly vanished.

" Weaver, what do you want now?" Weaver's smile only deepened. Taking a seat on the visitor's chair next to her bed pulled a folder out from his jacket. Placing the folder on her lap Regina only frowned at the gesture. "What is this?"

" I just need you to sign a couple of things." Opening the folder Regina quickly realized what Weaver was doing or had in mind. Closing the folder Regina shoved the folder into his chest in frustration.

" I'm not signing this! I will not give false evidence just so you can pin this against Samedi." Regina quietly said; not wanting people to her business.

" You're still trying to protect your boyfriend even after what he allowed to happen to you?!" Weaver said with complete disbelief.

" First of all he is not my boyfriend and second of all the Witch-killer is dead so why are you still hung up on this case." Weaver only sighed at Regina.

" Nick suddenly died of a heart attack out of the blue, his medical history shows he was healthy as can be which means magic is involved. Dark magic. Something your boyfriend knows all too well about." Weaver explained. " I need that bastard out of the way. For god sake Roni he has magic. Who knows what he doing with it."

Rolling her eyes Regina could tell Weaver wasn't going to let this go. " I don't care what he's doing. I'm focusing on protecting Henry and breaking the curse. I don't care about your Dagger issue so if you think I will provide you false evidence just so you can put him in jail for torture, think again. Now leave."

Taking the folder and placing it back into his jacket Weaver left the Hospital back at square one. If Regina wasn't going to help then maybe he had to take a page out of the shadow man's playbook. He would have to play dirty.

The day had finally come for Regina to leave the hospital and head back to her beloved bar. She would be released until this afternoon but until then she had to spend her morning being checked over by the nurses for final tests. her injuries had left her some scars on her back and arm but other than that she was back to normal.

Walking out of the doctor's room Regina headed back to her bed when she realized the school visit was at full force. The children looked to be about primary school and where adorable. She watched as the teachers and children interact with the older patients within the ward. Giving paper flowers and telling stories watched the sweet moment past her by. She often wondered about raising more children again when she saw moments like this. She was always felt bad not giving Henry a sibling when he was small. A little buddy to play and hang out with back in Storybrooke. Time was different then and so was she but she really enjoyed motherhood. Granted it was a hard job with all the late-night bottle feeding and sleepless night when she couldn't get him to stop crying. Although she loved every moment about it.

Lost in thought Regina didn't realize she had a little visitor heading her way. " Hi, Roni!" Snapping from her thoughts she was met with a huge smile from a familiar little boy.

" Kaleb?!"

"What are you doing here? Are you sick?" The little boy questioned. Regina gently smiled at the boy. Just like his father, he was the caring type. However, that didn't surprise her.

" I was sick but now I am all better especially now I see you. Your smile has made my day." Regina said. Kaleb smiled even more at Regina's word.

" I am happy your better now. Did my daddy come to see you too?" Sadness began to sink in within Regina. She didn't want to tell the boy she wasn't with his father as it was her place to do so.

" No, I believe your daddy is busy with work and other things," Regina explained to the young boy. Kaleb agreed as he knew his daddy was ways busy with work. Spending time with Kaleb breezed by and before long lunch-time came around. The little boy looked so much like Samedi. He was a sweet boy it was hard to believe he was also the son of Tiffany. As the children went off for lunch, it wasn't long before Zelena arrived in the ward to come to take her home.

Walking into the bar Regina was meet with a crowd of people wishing her a happy return. Local customers, Jacinda, Lucy, Sabine, and Henry had all wished her a happy return and recovery. It warmed her heart to no end to see people she cared about here in front of her. Everyone had helped and pitched in on cleaning and repairing the bar for her which left her speechless.

Enjoying the wonderful surprise party Zelena and everyone else helped to create Regina let herself feel at piece just for a little bit. She was still worried about future events to come but right now she wanted to enjoy herself and her family. She was happy that Henry was okay and nothing had happened to him will she was in the hospital.

As the night slowly came to an end and everyone left Regina retired back to her bedroom. Looking around she was glad to be back in her own bed. Getting ready for bed and finishing her nighttime routine Regina noticed a rose laying on her pillow. Picking it up she knew who had put the beautiful rose on her pillow. Smelling it Regina was reminded of how romantic Samedi could be but as quickly as she remembered she was also reminded of the chaos. Getting over him wouldn't be easy. She knew he didn't mean to hurt her but she was done with chasing after him. he wasn't ready to change and she had to deal with it. Placing the rose into the bin Regina got into bed hoping to distract her mind from the man she still loved with all her heart
