Iruma stepped outside as the cool night air blew past him and he frowned, "Second night…tomorrow night… and then the following night I'm going to have to fight that bastard and-"
"Iruma?" he looked back to see the tall beauty walking towards him, a confused look crossing her face, "What are you doing out here? You shouldn't be outside in case that Vampire is wandering around and he sees you,"
"Just enjoying the night air, Elizabetta," Elizabetta frowned as Iruma looked around the surrounding forest, "I know I can't feel cold, warmth, pain…anything anymore…but…that doesn't mean I can't try,' Elizabetta inhaled slowly before she walked up to Iruma and wrapped her arms around him, pressing herself against his back, "What are you doing?"
"None of us thanked you last night…who knows what could've happened if you didn't push Baby-Chan out of the way…we know Vampires can't turn demons, but that doesn't mean that can't kill us either," Iruma sighed as he freed himself from the embrace and Elizabetta frowned, "We know we can't help with this fight outside of training with you, but…we also don't want you losing the fight an-" before she could finish, Iruma reached up and patted the top of Elizabetta's head.
Elizabetta looked at him with wide eyes, "I wasn't going to stand there and do nothing last night, Elizabetta. Whether he went after you, Narfa, Kerori, Ameri or Clara, I wasn't going to stand there. I had no idea that demons can't contract the Vampire venom, and even still, letting one of you get bit like that…I wouldn't be able to forgive myself," Elizabetta slightly smiled as she nodded, "Now why don't we head back inside? I could use some blood and I'll fix you girls something too,"
"Actually…we wanted to ask you something," Iruma hummed and arched a brow as Elizabetta pulled him back inside.

The six sat in the front room of the cabin, the five girls silently eating while Iruma quietly drank a cup of blood. The five looked at Iruma before Kerori sighed and Iruma looked up in confusion, "Iruma…due to the events last night, we didn't ask you, but you were human, right?" Iruma hummed and nodded slowly, "Do humans go through a Wicked Phase or something?"
Iruma sighed, setting the glass down, "Even if I told you the truth, something tells me you wouldn't believe me, so…yeah, humans go through a Wicked Phase," the five narrowed their eyes and Iruma shook his head, "Look, can you just accept that as an answer? Like I said, if I told you the truth, you wouldn't believe me an-"
"Try us, Iruma," Ameri demanded and Iruma frowned, "Until recently, I was the only one who knew you were human, outside of the Chair-Demon of course, and we're trying to help you, but first we'd like to know how you went through a Wicked Phase,"
Iruma looked at the five and took a deep breath before a voice spoke, "Don't worry, Iru-boy, my days of hiding are gone," the six looked back and Iruma's eyes widened, "Hello, my name is Arikured, but you may call me Ali, and I am the Spirit and protector of the one who bears Gluttonous Feeder Ring, three of you have actually met me while in my previous state," Ali looked towards Elizabetta, Clara and Kerori, "Once the Chair-Demon fed me some of his magic, I retired back into the ring while Iruma began to rise through the ranks. Once hitting the rank of Gimmel, I reemerged and I was able to speak with Iruma and took the shape you see before you,"
The five demonesses looked at the spirit with wide eyes, "During this time, I kept my life secret, only speaking to Iruma. Once night, after returning home from the Student Council, Iruma was exhausted, but I wanted him to learn more about the demon lifestyle, and so, using some mana, I put him through a faux Wicked Phase, but I appeared to have used more mana than intended and he went through it for nearly a week, I was scared Iruma wouldn't return to normal.
Once hitting the rank of Daleth, I fell into a state of slumber, and Iruma has tried numerous times to contact me, but he couldn't reach me as I was under a trance. Once hitting the tank of Hé, I awoke from my trance and found I was no longer tethered to the ring, but I was required to remain by Iruma's side, unless I were to weaken and Iruma would feel pain,"
The air grew still as everyone looked at Iruma and Ameri stuttered, "S-so…when you told me your ring spoke to you…you were telling the truth?" Iruma hummed and slowly nodded, "I…I'm sorry for doubting you,"
"Forget about it…if any of you were to tell me an inanimate object spoke to you, I'd probably think you were going insane too," the five frowned as Iruma stood up and stretched, "Anyway, I'm going to head out," the five looked at him with wide eyes as Ali faded back into the ring, "I want some more blood and I don't think there will be enough raw meat here to satisfy my thirst an-"
"Iruma-kins…you said you wouldn't go out because of the Vampire and that you'd drink our blood until after your fight," Clara narrowed her eyes as she stood up and walked over to her best friend, "You weren't lying to us, were you, Iruma-kins?"
"I…no…but I don't want to accidently hurt any of you an-"
"Iruma, we're demons, we can handle a little pinch," Kerori shook her head, standing up, "And Clara's right, you said you wouldn't go out hunting until after your fight and that you'll drink some of our blood, so…if you want some more, please don't hesitate to ask," Iruma looked around and saw the others staring at him with narrowed eyes.
Sighing in defeat, Iruma looked up, "Alright…Narfa, do you mind if I drank some of your blood?" the dark-haired demoness stared at him with wide eyes before she stood up and walked over to him, holding her neck out, "I can get it from your arm you know,"
"R-right…of course you can," Narfa sighed and held her arm out as Iruma brought it up to his fangs and carefully bit down as Narfa slightly winced.
Iruma pulled back and smiled, "Taste like wild cherries…thank you," Narfa's eyes widened as she felt her cheeks grow warmer as Iruma wrapped a small cloth around the puncture wound on her arm while Kerori, Ameri, Elizabetta and Clara stared at the two with jealous glares.

Iruma laid on the roof of the cabin, staring up at the night sky with a hardened look crossing his face, "One more night of being like a newborn and then I have to fight for my freedom…I know the girls want to help me train, but I don't know if that'll be possible…I can't fight, I have my evasion skills to help me dodge the dangers, but I need to fight in order to win…Ifrit Mode…or that spell that grandpa told me about…I don't know what to do…we trained a bit tonight, but I don't know what I'm doing…I have to win an-"
"Iruma," he looed back to see Kerori crawling out of the window before walking up beside him and sat down with her knees hugged to her chest, "We know you're trying, we trained a bit tonight, but we can't help but wonder…we don't have a lot of time to train and we don't know what kind of skills this Vampire possesses, so…we-"
"I'm going to do whatever it takes to win, Kerori," Iruma sighed and sat up, "I'm not going to leave grandpa, Opera or any of my friends because this bastard said I have to join his Clan…I'll use whatever magic I've got in the ring to win," Kerori faintly smiled before yawning, "Let's get back inside,"
"Wait," Iruma looked at Kerori as she held her arm out, "A quick snack before we go to bed tonight," Iruma arched a brow, "It's just…we know if a Vampire drinks blood, they get stronger…so…just a quick snack?" Iruma sighed before leaning down and lightly bit down on Kerori's arm.
Iruma straightened himself up and wrapped a cloth around Kerori's arm, "Strawberries…thank you, Kerori," Kerori smiled before Iruma stood up and picked her up bridal style, surprising the ice demoness, "Hold on tight," she wrapped her arms around Iruma's neck as Iruma jumped off the roof and carried Kerori through the front door.
Well…this was a fun one to write…enjoy,
