Thank you to everyone who has favorited, followed or reviewed this fic so far.

Thanks a lot to gussygus28 and Brainstorm Sorcerer for their help with this chapter as well.

Also, two Variants of the same character will have a cameo in this chapter. The Earth-1 version will be referred to by the surname, and the other version by the first name.

Rest In Peace Michelle Trachtenberg, and Gene Hackman, Betsy Arakawa and your dog, we will miss you.

Michelle, you passed away too young. I saw her as Dawn Summers in 'Buffy', and I saw her in '17 Again', plus I knew she was popular in 'Gossip Girl'. Let's just say her as Dawn made a huge impression on me. I've said it before and I'll say it again- Dawn, I just found a sweet and adorable character who was very complex in her own right, and I never got why she was disliked, still don't, and, to me- she felt like my own little sister at times, and I don't have ANY sibling.

Now, Michelle Trachtenberg is gone too soon, but never forgotten. Rest In Peace. Thank you for giving an amazing performance as the amazing Dawn Summers.

I miss you.

Gene Hackman, I found his performance as Lex Luthor in the Superman movies quite charming, he portrayed the Silver Age Lex Luthor very well, and those movies, even the bad ones, are part of my childhood, him included, its saddening what happened to him, his pianist wife and their dog.

Now, they're all gone. Rest In Peace. Thank you for your contributions to the world of acting.

And what is even more tragic that all these deaths happened around the same day, with them being found dead in their homes.

Buffyverse does not enter in this chapter, but its dedicated to you, Michelle, and to you as well, Gene, Betsy and your dog.

TW: Thank you for the review, glad it was amazing.

Gallifrey 22.3: Thank you for the review, glad it was great. In canon, Ragnarok was caused to stop Hela, here its happening in a different way, but, never say never. I just might, thanks for the suggestion.

Guest 1: I heard, its very tragic, Rest in Peace Michelle Trachtenberg, as well as Gene Hackman, Betsy Arakawa and their dog, who passed away on the same day. Yeah, I heard that on the liver transplant too. Sad all around.

Guest 2: Thank you for the review. That'd be an interesting encounter, especially with the case of mistaken identity, thanks for suggesting it. Not seen it yet, but they might. You'll see. Haven't seen the 2020 Grudge, most likely would be the American Remake Kayako with Samara. The 50 Cent show?

Chapter 4- No, you move

Earth-199999, New York City, Avengers Compound

Ross and Talbot entered the Compound, entrance having been granted to them already, and there was a small group of men behind them, all carrying weapons, not that the Avengers needed to pay any attention to that, because they were going to 'persuade' the group with words.

The weapons were for compliance.

Entering the conference room, the two men and their group of soldiers only saw Steve Rogers standing in the room, dressed up in his Captain America suit sans mask, carrying his shield behind his back too.

"Captain", Ross greeted Steve with gritted teeth, as Steve stared at all of them, his expression impassive.

"Brought weapons to convince me, I see", Steve spoke calmly to them.

"Captain, this is not what you think it is", Talbot said with raised hands. "We're hoping to talk about this reasonably one more time, just listen-"

"You wouldn't have brought guns if you just wanted to talk", Steve shot back, shutting Talbot up as Ross glared at Steve angrily.

"This is all your fault, Captain!" Ross snarled, pointing at Steve. "I came in here reasonably, told you all how it is. You should have cooperated like Stark, Rhodes and the Fantastic Four did!"

"And what about the Enhanced, Mutants and Inhumans you're looking up for no reason?" Steve asked with a raised eyebrow, Ross sneering angrily. "Many of them don't even use their powers for anything, you just captured them because they've powers, under the pretext of everyone else's safety. You put in Jessica Jones for no reason, other than an excuse, and she is not the only one. You went after Mutant children too."

"Its still better than what you're doing! We tried to handle this like civil people but you spat in our face, and then your friend Doctor Banner, whom you'd assured would not attack us, blew up the UN headquarters in New York City!" Ross snapped back angrily.

"And instead of going after him, after passing this act, you decided to go after other people who did nothing to anyone!" Steve snapped as well, making Ross and Talbot both look like they'd been punched, but he wasn't done yet. "Going after people because they're part of a group you don't like- sounds an awful lot like what happened in Germany."

Talbot looked conflicted, but Ross instead smirked. "We will go after Doctor Banner when we manage to find out where you've hidden him. But really, this is interesting and heartbreaking to see- Captain America, the person who is supposed to represent America, falls from grace, and is now going to oppose the American government because they don't bow down to his whims."

"Captain America does not represent the American government", Steve said, to the shock of Ross and Talbot, as Steve stood firm. "Captain America represents the ideals of America. Captain America represents the ideals our Founding Fathers fought for. Captain America represents what America aspires to be. Captain America does not stand for any government; Captain America stands for the people!"

"Powerful words, Captain, but they don't change the fact that you're now breaking America's laws!" Ross snarled at him. "The world works on compromise, and you didn't compromise. All you had to do was give us the oversight power."

"I compromise where I can, but where I can't, I won't, because I've seen what happens with power in the wrong hands." Steve's mind flashed to Red Skull, Loki, Ultron and Krell. "I don't like bullies. I don't care where they're from." And that included his own country's government as well.

That was when Ross had enough and said. "Arrest him!"

Before the soldiers could do anything, an arrow whizzed in between them, and stuck to the other end of the wall, with Ross, Talbot and the men turning to see Clint Barton standing at the end from where the arrow had come, having planted another arrow there already, the door open.

Then, an electric force-field appeared between the two Avengers, and Ross, Talbot and their men.

"Agent Barton", Talbot greeted calmly.

"Talbot, Ross", Clint snarled, walking up next to Steve, exchanging a nod with him. "I go on a vacation, and things go to crap!"

"You're making a mistake", Ross snarled.

"I think the mistake was accepting Tony's money before I went on vacation", Clint said with a scoff. "You've started a war. We intend to finish it, and save everyone you captured because they committed the crime of having superpowers."

"This isn't over!" Ross snapped.

"No", Steve agreed. "This has just begun." With that, Steve and Clint rushed off to the window behind Steve, and Clint grabbed onto Steve's back as Steve held out his shield and leapt through the glass, shattering it, both of them going down, Steve reminded of when he'd done the same thing after Alexander Pierce had sent Hydra goons after him.

Soon, they fell to the ground, the shield taking all the impact, with Steve and Clint groaning, before getting up, exchanging a look.

"Where to now, Cap?" Clint asked Steve.

"I know a place, but let's first make sure we're not noticed", Steve pointed out, Clint agreeing to that with a nod.

"Let's go."

And with that, Captain America and Hawkeye ran off, knowing that a war had just begun between the people with superpowers, and America's government, plus the powered people who supported the SHRA.

"Fugitive again, huh Cap?" Clint asked, causing both of them to chuckle.

"Welcome to the club."

"You think I don't know about it?"

Talbot looked at Ross. "Are you sure this SHRA is actually the right thing to do?"

"Yes, it is", Ross assured Talbot. "Our government approved it, to prevent people with powers from running around and doing whatever they want, turning this country into a lawless one. You don't want that now, do you?"

Hesitation and conflict were written all over Talbot's face, thinking about Cap's words, and all those who'd been imprisoned. While everyone said it was for the protection of the normal people, there were many who'd been grabbed for no reason.

But right now, Talbot wasn't sure what he could do.

"No, I don't."

Asgard

"It seems there are a lot of similarities in our lives", Odinson noted, sitting across from Thor, the two Variants of the same God of Thunder just looking at the other, absorbing the information said by the other person.

"Aye, except you learnt humility long before I did", Thor commented, wishing he'd been this mature before, having heard about Odinson's little adventure when he was younger, to find the Sword of Surtur, which had helped him realize his true potential, but had also ended in tragedy due to the turn and then death of Algrim, and the beginning of his Loki's descent to darkness.

Odinson also thought sadly about how the Jotuns had later used the Sword of Surtur to attack Nidavellir, causing his father to interfere and defeat the Jotuns, then give the Sword of Surtur to the Dwarves instead, who'd broken it into shards.

And now, the reawakened Surtur had burnt Nidavellir and taken the shards of his Sword, reforging it into the Twilight Sword, causing the destruction of Beta Ray Bill's and his people's home-world in the process, and was coming for more.

"Though I find it a coincidence how we both nearly started a war with Jotunheim."

"Perhaps some things across this Multiverse are the same", Odinson said with a sad sigh, both of them thinking of their respective Lokis. "And Jane is an astrophysicist instead of a nurse here?"

"She told me she considered a nursing profession before choosing this field", Thor explained to Odinson. "And we both seem to know different versions of this Justice League too."

"Aye, it seems to me our meeting was destined", Odinson said, Thor nodding at that. "But I believe I would need to return to my Asgard in my Universe soon, and try to find Amora the Enchantress."

"Haven't seen her here for a long time", Thor had to say. The last time he'd seen her, it felt long ago, even for one as old as himself.

That was when Hercules, Sif and the Warriors Three came in, causing the two Thors to stand up due to how their faces looked, especially Hogun.

"What is it?" Thor inquired.

"Vanaheim is being besieged by enemies", Hogun admitted, his voice grim, as Thor and Odinson shared a look.

"Want to come, Thor?"

"Do you even have to ask, Thor?"

Earth-8096, New York City, Avengers Mansion

"You know, kind of disappointed we don't have Hulk or Thor with us when future man's there after our lives", Iron Man said to Captain America, the two standing above the mansion alongside Hawkeye, with Ms. Marvel hovering nearby.

"I get it, but Thor has more places than just Earth to take care of, and both Banner and Hulk deserve a break after everything they've done", Captain America pointed out gently.

"Yeah, don't think I blame either one, I don't think I'd be able to handle living like that. It sounds….yikes!" Ms. Marvel had to say.

"I get what you mean. But even through all the messes, Hulk is always ready to come through, as is Banner", Hawkeye said fondly, the four thinking about their currently absent teammate now.

That was when Iron Man's armor sensors beeped, and the four looked up to see a beam of light crashing down from the sky, having just entered the atmosphere.

"What is that?!" Ms. Marvel asked with wide eyes.

"Incoming!" Captain America cried out.

"Holy moly!" Hawkeye muttered.

"Guys, we got a thing here", Iron Man said via comms.

And then, the beam of light struck a flying plane's right wing, causing it to start crashing, which made Iron Man and Ms. Marvel fly off to save it.

"Avengers, Assemble!" Captain America cried out as he watched the beam of light descend, and calculating where it could end up, ran back inside and down alongside Hawkeye to get the rest and go where it'd crash.

Meanwhile, the beam of light crashed through the top of the Chrysler Building, making it start crashing to the ground alongside the people there.

"Make sure the wing doesn't hit anything else, Ms. Marvel", Iron Man said to the heroine, who nodded and flew at the falling wing before it could strike the ground, catching it easily.

Meanwhile, Iron Man flew at the falling top of the Chrysler Building, flying underneath it and holding it up, as he flew on top of another building and gently kept it down, before flying back down to get the people.

Only, he saw that they'd all fallen into a large web that had been spun by Spider-Man, who crouched on another nearby building, having saved all the people from death.

"And you're welcome", Spider-Man was saying to the people he'd saved. "Those are official Spider-Man Spider-Webs by the way, not sold in stores."

"That's it! I'm done!" One man cried out.

"I'm moving!" Another woman said as well.

"Thanks Spider-Man", Iron Man thanked him before flying off towards the falling plane, and increased the speed of his thrusters, now getting closer, and finding himself right underneath it.

Holding out his arms, he held the plane with gritted teeth, and cried out. "JARVIS! Send help!"

"Sending, sir."

And then, about a minute later, a few other Iron Man suits arrived too, all of them holding up the crashing plane to stabilize it, with Iron Man flying down near the water, and then keeping the plane on the land nearby, having stopped the crash.

He sighed in relief as the other suits flew back, while he flew into the air, the saved people in the plane all cheering for him as he flew off.

The beam of light finally crashed in Times Square, making many people run off in fear and terror, with a Quinjet descending nearby, and as it opened, out of it came Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Panther.

They rushed to the crater that had formed, with Iron Man and Ms. Marvel descending as the smoke cleared, their eyes widening at who they saw.

A being with skin that was not like a human being, with a gem in his forehead.

"Adam Warlock!" Iron Man cried out, recognizing him, with Captain America giving him a look of surprise, having been told who Warlock and the Guardians of the Galaxy were after his return to the Avengers.

Then, he jumped into the crater, gently carrying the unconscious Warlock out. "Get a medical crew over here!"

"Warlock!" Hawkeye called out to him. "Warlock, its Hawkeye! Can you hear me?"

"Its…" Warlock muttered in a daze. "Its…..coming!"

And with that, he lost consciousness, as Black Panther wondered. "What is this 'it'?"

"Ms. Marvel, could you do us a favor and see if anything is following him?" Captain America asked the heroine.

"Nothing on the interstellar radar", Iron Man noted, when suddenly, Warlock began to glow, and a golden cocoon formed around his body, covering him completely.

"What's that?" Hawkeye asked.

"Scans are indiscernible, but if you ask me, it seems like a recuperation cocoon", Iron Man informed the others what it could be. "Either way, let's take him back to the Mansion." That was when he scanned an energy signature around Warlock's cocoon, and his underneath his face-plate widened. "Oh no…."

Middle-earth

Sora was on a rocky hill now, Goofy not too far behind him, as he wondered. "Think this is the right way?"

"Well, we're not going through that dark mine or forests anymore, so I think so", Goofy said in reply, causing Sora to shrug at that.

"I'm sure we'll find people to point us in the right direction soon as well", Sora told Goofy before running forth, and Goofy ran behind him.

"Come on, Donald!" He cried out, as Donald used his staff to support himself.

While superhuman too, his physical stats were lower than Sora and Goofy, as magic was his main speciality, but he was doing his best, and not giving up.

"I want to rest, but there is no clue right now", Donald said with a groan, following them as best as he could.

With that, they continued running across the downward slope with Sora in the lead, Goofy in the middle and Donald at the back.

While they hadn't stopped much as of now, they did have a bite of Lembas bread every now and then, which was helpful for them.

They stopped by some boulders, noticing the imprints here were quite deep, as Goofy wondered. "Ya think they were here?"

"Yep, definitely stopped here for a few seconds, meaning we're on the right track", Sora cheered, and then ran forth.

"Come on Donald, we're not too far from them!" Goofy called out, rushing behind Sora, as Donald panted, trying to pick up speed.

"We better rest a lot after catching up!"

They eventually reached a wide plain full of hills and rocks, looking down at the beautiful greenery all around them.

"The darkness of Sauron and even Saruman is working to its full effect here", Sora said sadly. "And making things harder for us." And with that, the three of them rushed forth once more, with Sora in the front, Goofy right behind him, and Donald at the back.

"At this rate, I might need to heal myself", Donald said while panting.

The entire day they ran till it was dusk, but the distance was still too much to cover.

Earth-1

Lucifer, War and Michael Myers were now in a forest, with Lucifer looking around, a grin on his face as he called out. "Alright… you all can come out now! Get acquainted with one another!"

With that, he snapped his fingers, and four portals opened all around them. Out of the first one came Candyman and Helen Lyle, then out of the other came Chucky and Tiffany, and then Freddy Krueger came out of the third, while from the last one stepped out Jason Voorhees!

The killers all looked at each other, when Freddy did a double take on seeing Jason.

"What the fuck? You again?!"

Jason glanced at Freddy, and then glared, his eyes showing just how angry he was, and then he stomped his way to the Springwood Slasher.

"Oh, I am so ready for Round 2!" Freddy declared as he began to rush at Jason with his knife fingers, Jason also raising his machete.

The two were about to clash, and….

…all of a sudden, they were both knocked to the ground, falling on their backs, and as they looked up, they saw Lucifer standing in between them.

"Tsk, tsk", Lucifer commented with a shake of his head. "I figured this would happen, given the history between you two." He muttered. "That's why I had to wait until I'd gotten everyone else here."

Freddy and Jason both picked themselves up, Jason still glaring at Freddy, while Freddy looked at Lucifer. "Why do I…" he pointed at himself with his knife finger, "have to work with…" he pointed his knife finger at Jason, "…him of all people? He is a fucking kill-stealer!"

Jason tilted his head, but Lucifer held up his hand. "I know you two do not like each other, but this time, both of you", he looked at the others, "as well as all of you, and me….we share the same purpose."

His grin returned to his face. "Kill as many people as possible in more worlds than just this one, and cause the Apocalypse."

"That sounds about right to me", Chucky said, and chuckled evilly.

Hearing his chuckle, Freddy had to turn to him, finding his personality very similar to his own. "What's your deal, short stack?"

"Fucking people up, that's my deal, pizza face."

Chucky and Freddy stared at each other for a good 15 seconds…

And then both began to laugh maniacally, the sound of their evil laughter mixing together and being heard all over the forest.

Tiffany groaned, and muttered. "Great, now there's two of them."

At that moment, Lucifer cleared his throat, making the two shut up, while he said. "So, we may not like each other, but to do this, we must work with each other, so", he looked between Freddy and Jason, "no fighting."

Jason glared at Freddy, then turned away as Freddy scoffed and folded his arms. "Fine by me!"

"So, as I said, we will kill people in many Universes, not just this one", Lucifer told them. "And then cause the Apocalypse. I am sure all of you find that acceptable."

"Indeed, since our Urban Legend shall now be known to every world", Candyman said, raising his hook, Helen nodding.

"So, when do we begin?" Helen inquired.

"Yes, I wanna kill people in more Universes!" Chucky said excitedly.

"I just need to do one thing…"

Lucifer snapped his fingers, and disappeared from the area, Freddy muttering. "What the fuck?"

"Now where has he gone off to?" Candyman wondered, and War shrugged, not knowing the answer himself.

Then, about a minute later, Lucifer reappeared in the area. "Just needed to finish an errand."

"Which was?" Tiffany inquired. As if, to answer her question, a chainsaw was heard whirring nearby, and then hysterical, clown-like laughter was heard around them too.

Then, a tall and muscular man, wearing a coat, and carrying a chainsaw, walked out of the shadows nearby, though what really stood out about him was that he wore a mask made of human flesh!

And next moment, a very colorfully-dressed clown with big red hair, and a round red nose, appeared amongst them.

Candyman tilted his head. "Who are those?"

Helen's eyes widened, having read about them during all her research. "I think I know who they are!"

Michael and Jason just watched the two new arrivals silently, as Chucky asked Lucifer. "Now what the fuck are they doing here?"

"Yeah, I'm thinking the same fucking thing", Freddy added from his own end.

"And shouldn't they be dead?" Tiffany wondered.

"Do not forget who you are speaking to", War reminded the group of murderers.

"I decided we needed some more in our group to really finish it, and these two are classics from what I hear", Lucifer said with a chuckle. "And hence, they are here, as I travelled back in time and got them."

"Holy shit!" Chucky had to say about that, with Candyman, Helen, Freddy and Tiffany seeming quite shocked too.

Leatherface started up his chainsaw again, while near him, Pennywise looked at all the other murderers. "Oooh, what fun will we have, since I am here now." He looked at Lucifer. "You brought me back just as they ended me and brought me here. Very wise of you, Lucifer. Very wise indeed." A balloon appeared in his hand as he offered it to the other killers. "Come on, buckos. Don't you all want a balloon?"

"Uhhh….no", Freddy said for everyone with a shake of the head, causing Pennywise to crackle madly.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"He is worse than that Joker guy in Gotham City", Chucky muttered to Tiffany, who nodded, as Lucifer felt War walk up next to him.

"Quite the interesting gathering you have here", War had to say to Lucifer, looking at the group of Urban Legends of Earth-1, all scary murderers.

"Oh this isn't even close to the full thing", Lucifer clarified. "Still have a couple more of people in this world alone I need to get."

He smirked, looking forward to meeting his other recruits soon.

Earth-199999, New York City, Hell's Kitchen, Fogwell's Gym

Steve entered the gym with Clint, both having the traditional disguise that consisted of a baseball cap and sunglasses, which they took off on entering, with Clint shutting the door. Inside the gym were Natasha, Sam and Scott.

"Why are we all here exactly?" Scott asked no one in particular.

"Who would think to look for America's most wanted in Hell's Kitchen?" Natasha asked rhetorically in response, and Scott nodded.

"Ah, that makes sense."

"I've a feeling its not just us", Sam noted, looking at Steve, who nodded.

"No, but the other potential members of our team were only reached out to, unlike Scott here, who fought you, Sam, so in his case, Tony and Rhodey know a lot about him", Steve explained, Scott groaning at that.

That was when the door opened again, everyone tensing, but to the shock of Sam, Clint and Scott, it was a blind man with a boxing bag, and a walking stick, that he put down in the corner.

"Who are you?" Scott inquired.

"Name's Matt Murdock, who are you?" Matt asked him.

"Scott Lang."

"Heard your name. VistaCorp?"

"Yeah…" Scott groaned, but Matt chuckled.

"Its fine, I understand what you were doing", Matt assured him.

"Matt, I'm really sorry about this", Steve spoke up, Matt turning his head into Steve's direction. "But this was the only place we could hide out at. I hope you don't mind."

"Depends on something", Matt said, and Steve, realizing what he meant, walked up closer to him.

"Who else knows about my other identity?"

"Only Nat and I. The rest only looked into the exploits of the people we were trying to recruit. Nat and I are the ones who figured out any secret identities. We still haven't told the rest, to respect your choices", Steve assured Matt, and Matt knew that Steve was telling the truth based on his heartbeat. "Scott's identity is known because he entered the Compound and fought Sam. But yours is not."

Matt nodded at that. "Thank you."

"No problem."

"Who is this guy?" Clint asked Steve finally.

"He is a lawyer that Steve and I know", Natasha spoke up, deciding to protect Matt's secret, as he'd not appreciate anyone telling it to others, even other superheroes, in case they decided to become sellouts like Tony and Rhodes. "Steve went to him to get a legal opinion on the SHRA."

"And what do you've to say?" Sam asked Matt.

"I'll just repeat what I told Captain Rogers earlier", Matt said in no uncertain terms as he picked up the boxing bag, and hung it in place, taking off his glasses. "The SHRA violates a lot of basic human rights of people with superpowers, such as a fourth amendment problem, for example. I'm surprised they got passed so quickly without anyone giving them a glance."

"Probably because someone looking like Doctor Banner bombed the UN headquarters", Natasha pointed out why they were fast-tracked.

"That might have made many turn a blind eye to the various violations", Matt said with a sigh, as he began punching the bag. "Which is funny as the actual blind guy could see it."

That caused some of them to laugh hesitantly, but Matt chuckled himself, and they realized it was fine to laugh, so they did.

"Point is, now all of you are fugitives", Matt told the group. "The SHRA needs to be fought, in any way possible, but none of you can do it in light of day, as of now."

"Well, won't be the first time", Sam sighed. "Have to ask though- how do you do all this boxing when you're blind?"

"My father was a boxer, I just like to practice", Matt shrugged. "You're all welcome to hide out here, in the meantime."

"Thank you, Matt", Steve thanked him.

"Well, what's our next move, Cap?" Clint asked Steve, who turned to face all of them.

"Right now, we need to stay underground for a while, because if we slip up and get arrested, it will not help the ones who got captured for no reason", Steve pointed out to them. "But we will not stand by and let anyone else get taken. If you see anything wrong going on, do what you can, because I will. And eventually, we will find a way to topple the SHRA. Because this is something we will not compromise on, as they are violating basic human rights and expecting everyone to just sit down and accept it as normal."

With that, Steve looked at all of them and spoke. "When the world tells you to move, when everyone around you demands that you stay silent, to turn away from those in need, you must plant yourself like a tree by the river of truth and stand firm—not for pride, not for stubbornness, but for what is right. You don't stand to prove others wrong; you stand to protect those who cannot stand for themselves. And when the powerful tell you, 'Move,' you look them in the eye and say, 'No, you move'."

No one spoke for a while, but there was the fire of determination in each of their eyes, all of them ready to fight for the rights of powered people against the government till the end.

"Damn! That is inspirational! Whoever said 'never meet your Heroes' was wrong", Scott said cheerfully.

"Depends on the hero", Natasha pointed out to Scott.

"What about our friends who decided to sell out and support the SHRA?" Clint inquired with a raised eyebrow, and it was silent for a few seconds.

"We'll cross that bridge when the time comes", Steve said with a sigh. "Because, right now, I believe Tony and Rhodey can be reasoned with."

"Cap, they're standing by and doing nothing while the government locks up anyone with superpowers, even when these people aren't doing anything! And it's a matter of time before they start rounding up people themselves!"

"I know, and I will not excuse them not doing anything. But they've fought alongside us in many battles, they've stood by us too. I will not give up on them unless there is no other choice left."

Clint, while not fully satisfied, could understand Steve's sentiments, and gave a nod, acknowledging that he understood, and Steve nodded back in appreciation.

Either way, things were going to be even harder for everyone involved from this point onwards.

"We need to find Bruce", Natasha brought their attention to the important matter.

"Can the government find him though?" Sam inquired. "Or the military? Because he did evade them for a long while before meeting us."

"The military can't find him, but Tony can", Steve pointed out what was different this time. "And I don't believe he blew up the UN headquarters. Because of being unaware of the situation, he won't be prepared either when they come for him."

"We'll try and contact Fury and Hill", Natasha said, gesturing to herself and Clint. "They could have a lead for us."

Steve nodded, and they all got to work.

Vanaheim

The people were trying to fight off Fire Demons that were coming down upon them from above, burning the greenery that inhabited this entire Realm.

One man sliced at a Fire Demon, only for another to fire at him from above, scorching him badly as he was thrown to the ground, his sword clattering, while another one was lifted from behind by the face and he screamed as it burnt his face completely.

But the people charged forth, continuing to try and battle the Fire Demons, before one of them hurled flames that burnt three of them simultaneously, another one lifting up two of them, causing them to scream in pain before they exploded in a shower of flames.

The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes OST - Thor Into Battle plays

That was when the Bifrost struck the ground, causing the Vanir as well as the Fire Demons to look at it, the former in hope, and the latter in surprise.

When the Bifrost faded- Thor, Odinson, Hercules, Sif, and the Warriors Three all stood there, weapons at the ready, glaring at the Fire Demons, with powerful lightning cracking in the sky due to two Thors being present.

"Fire Demons?" Sif questioned in shock, Odinson tilting his head as he recognized them.

"These are from my Universe!" Odinson revealed, to the shock of the others who were with him.

"That means…" Thor trailed off.

"My Enchantress is here", Odinson said with a snarl, before lifting up his Mjolnir. "This is a diversion!" With that, he flew into the air, as did Thor.

"Even so, these people need us!" Hercules pointed out, the Thors nodding in the sky, while Hogun smiled at him in appreciation, and then, they all charged.

"FOR ODIN! FOR ASGARD!"

Both the Thors cried out their battle cry together, and then held up their Mjolnirs, joining them as the lightning emanating from them and the skies doubled in size and intensity, hitting a HUGE chunk of the Fire Demons simultaneously, incinerating hundreds of them in just one go while shattering the ground underneath some more, making them fall into there.

Sif charged forth with a roar, stabbing into one Fire Demon with her sword as it protruded from its back, and she rushed forth, pushing and stabbing into another Fire Demon just behind it, killing them both.

Hercules slammed his foot to the ground, causing it to shake as many of the Fire Demons toppled from that, after which Hercules struck three of them hard with his Adamantine mace simultaneously, sending them flying off into many more, killing them at once.

Fandral used his rapier, slicing the throat of one, before another tried to grab it, but he sliced its hands with a flourish, while near him, Hogun dodged a blast by one, and struck it hard on the face with his mace, breaking it as it fell down, after which he deflected the blast of another Fire Demon and struck it in the gut, killing that one too, and tripped another with the mace before bringing it down upon the Fire Demon with a roar of rage.

Volstagg decapitated one with his ax, and backed off to avoid a blast by another, before rushing at it with a roar, and swinging his ax, chopping it right into two.

Thor and Odinson summoned twin tornadoes, sucking in many more of the Fire Demons, causing them to twirl and screech in pain.

"RALLY TO US!" Odinson cried out to the Vanir. "And drive these foul creatures back!"

The Vanir cheered, now following behind the Thors, Hercules, Sif and the Warriors Three with renewed vigor, fighting the remaining Fire Demons, and they weren't many in number, not to mention, the attacks upon them now had weakened them badly.

Earth-8096, Washington DC, White House

"Good morning, Mr. President", Captain America politely greeted the US President, who nodded.

"Captain America, Mister Stark, what do you have for us?" The President asked, sitting alongside his team around the table.

A screen activated behind the two Avengers, Captain America saying. "Since the Skrull Invasion, the Kree attack, and Galactus, you've asked to be kept abreast of any intergalactic situation we come across", Captain America started.

"Last night, we intercepted the arrival of a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy", Iron Man picked up for a bit.

"He came with a rather vague, but alarming warning, and then lapsed into a coma to recover", Captain America continued.

Iron Man showed them footage of the cocoon. "Based on how he looked, and how he needed this cocoon to recover, we believe he survived a conflict with an immense energy source."

"We'd both Ms. Marvel and Iron Man here do personal and satellite interstellar recon-"

"What we found was, for a lack of better word, disturbing." Iron Man sighed. "We discovered an energy signature around Warlock. It seems to be quite powerful, almost at Cosmic proportions."

"And its headed towards Earth", Captain America added grimly in warning, everyone looking quite terrified at the prospect.

"What do you say we do?" The President inquired.

"No offense, but I don't think you can do anything here, Mr. President", Iron Man pointed out, and the President had to concede to that.

"We're making plans about it, and will keep you in the know", Captain America added, sharing a nod with Iron Man, knowing who they really needed to talk to about this Cosmic power right now.

Later, Westchester, X-Mansion

"Are you sure?" Wolverine asked, seated, looking down, his hands joined underneath his chin, his expression graver than usual.

"We're sure", Captain America informed him with Storm, Cyclops and Jean standing nearby.

"The Phoenix."

"You all and the other X-Men fought it", Captain America noted, looking at the four.

"Yes, and one of us, Emma Frost, did all she could to try and contain it, but she'd to kill herself to stop it when all was said and done", Wolverine said sadly, while also thinking of Emma as one of the X-Men due to her sacrifice to stop the Phoenix Force. "Kill herself. And looks like it didn't even work."

"It got us all into trouble last time due to being within me", Jean told them, shuddering. "And now it's coming back."

"We'll deal with it", Cyclops assured her, grasping her hand as she grasped back.

"But either way, none of us came out unscathed the last time", Storm pointed out, then looked at Cap. "Now you say Thor and Hulk aren't with us right now. We could have used their help, but it is what it is."

"We didn't tell the President about what it was, or that we'll be reaching out to you, as it's still a work-in-progress regarding everyone else's outlook on people like you", Captain America pointed out, and Wolverine nodded in appreciation. "All we know is its headed to Earth as of now. I wonder why it's coming back after all this time?"

"Remember when I'd told you about our fight with Apocalypse?" Wolverine reminded, Cap nodding. "Well, we didn't beat him alone."

As Cap listened, Storm spoke up. "A version of the X-Men from a different Universe arrived through a breach to aid us."

"Right", Cap nodded, already knowing of the breaches, as the Avengers had gone to that other world and helped the Justice League too, and their own Ultron had found itself there as well. "Carry on."

"Their Jean had a version of the Phoenix Force as well", Cyclops informed Cap.

"And she briefly shared it with me, so both of us destroyed Apocalypse together", Jean confessed to Cap. "Maybe that's what drew the Phoenix Force back."

"That thing killed Emma, now who knows what else it will do", Cyclops said with an angry growl, Jean looking at him in some concern, as Wolverine got up, and walked off, gesturing to Cap to follow him, which he did, until the two were away from Cyclops and Jean.

"Cyclops and Emma had a special kind of bond, before the Phoenix Force took her", Wolverine told Captain America. "This thing's coming back, he's gonna have an agenda, and he won't even see it that way. He is not known for letting things go." Wolverine sighed. "I'd to lay down the line with him last time when he let his obsession with finding Jean go too far."

"In that case", Captain America put a hand to Wolverine's shoulder. "Can I count on you?"

Wolverine looked at Cap with a smile that was returned.

"Always, bub."

"Did the Professor tell you anything?" Cap asked next, but Wolverine shook his head.

"No, he hasn't contacted us since last time, and I guess Bishop hasn't been spoken to yet."

Captain America shook his head. "We tried to talk to him, but he didn't tell us anything we didn't already know from the Professor." He added. "I wonder if the two events are related."

"In our line of work, always a possibility." Wolverine added. "There's Magneto to worry about too."

"Wasn't he banished from Genosha?"

"Yeah, but knowing him, the moment he finds out about this, he is gonna sink his claws in deep, so I'd tell you to be careful, bub."

"Thank you", Captain America replied with a nod. "Guess we'll have to ask someone about him."

"I know who you can ask."

Middle-earth, Rohan

The Trio was still in pursuit of the Uruk-Hai, having noted a red sun rising earlier in the day, which they thought was quite strange.

That was when Donald noticed something in the far distance. "Look!" He pointed at a plume of smoke in the near distance. "Think something is burning there."

"Gawrsh, looks bad", Goofy commented. "Ya think we will find anything there?"

"Yes, something must have gone down", Sora said before running towards the direction at full speed. "Come on guys!"

Donald and Goofy both followed, even if Donald struggled to keep up.

Earth-199999, Bella Coola, British Columbia

Banner came back into the small house where he'd now retreated after feeling mentally tormented by the Hulk. He'd been here after his fight with the Abomination too, having meditated all the time.

He was doing the same nowadays, just meditating when he wasn't out in the greenery, which did have a calming effect on his mind. Ironic, considering the color of his other self.

Being alone here, with no technology at all, he felt much better than he had in a long while. Staying here, he felt he could be at peace.

But he knew, the Hulk was always inside of him, even now, and the moment he slipped up, Hulk would come for him. Such thoughts made him afraid to sleep as well, as Hulk screamed at him to let him out in his nightmares.

Oh well, he wanted to enjoy the peace of this place and find some calm when he could, so he just took out teabags and sugar, starting to make some tea.

He'd soon wish he'd some technology here, otherwise he'd not be confused about what happened in the next few seconds.

He heard the sound of a helicopter, and next second, the roof burst open, with SHRA taskforce agents rappelling down, aiming guns at him.

"Doctor Bruce Banner, you are under arrest!" One agent said, not taking their guns off of him.

"Whoa! Why?!" Banner asked, more confused than anything.

"You know why!" Another agent snapped. "Don't play innocent."

"Come with us peacefully or we will shoot", one more added.

Banner was utterly confused, his mind stressing out, as he wondered what it was that he'd done which made these agents come here.

And now, due to all this stress, his skin was going green, which the agents noticed.

"Take him-"

He was cut off when someone kicked him hard from behind, sending him flying off into the corner, and then the dark figure spun and elbowed another agent out.

"Take him out!"

One agent tried to fire at the figure but he leapt and kicked that one into another, taking them both out, and as another fired, the bullet was deflected off of the suit that he was wearing.

In front of Banner's eyes, the dark figure whirled around and the agent's gun was chopped into pieces, with Banner making out what looked like claws.

The figure kicked that agent away, then spun and swept another one's feet from underneath him, knocking him down too, and leaping, kicked the remaining two away.

After that, he turned to Banner, who saw him properly for the first time, noting it was a man in a black suit, which had claws popping out, that he retracted, and the suit seemed to be made of some unique metal, that he couldn't make out as of now, though his stress wasn't fully gone.

"Banner."

"You got a super suit, oh that's never good."

"For the murder of King T'Chaka, I will have vengeance."

"...I'm sorry, what now?" Banner asked with genuine surprise, when the agent whose feet had been swept from underneath him stood up, and started firing at the figure, who spun around and kicked him away, but using the opportunity, Banner ran out of the house.

The figure rushed after him, and as Banner reached outside the house, the figure just leapt outside, ready to pounce upon.

"Aw come on!" Banner groaned, when suddenly, another agent who'd gotten up leapt out and right upon the figure as well, the figure tossing him away, but Banner used the opportunity to bolt away, and before the figure could follow, Banner found himself running right into a breach of all things, and he fell into it.

T'Challa saw Banner disappear into the breach, and sighed, wondering how these agents had gotten up after his powerful strikes. His blows were strong enough to knock them out.

Deciding he should investigate instead of chasing after Banner into the unknown, he ran back into the cabin, seeing one agent he'd knocked out was bleeding from the mouth.

Producing one claw, he took that blood upon the claw, and began to analyze it using the suit's features, while looking around at the cabin.

There was a picture of Banner with the other 5 original Avengers- Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, Thor, Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton.

Then there was another picture of him with a very beautiful, dark-haired woman whom T'Challa had never seen before in his life.

And there was another picture of a younger Banner with a man who'd long hair and a motorcycle.

Around the cabin was also a statue of the Buddha, a dreamcatcher, lavender candles, and a calendar of puppies!

This did not strike him as a violent man, T'Challa had to say. But he had blown up the U.N. headquarters, and killed his father.

He was going to pay.

Then he got the results of the blood sample's analysis, and heard groans, turning to see the other agents slowly waking up.

He narrowed his eyes, and the claws came out.

Hell

Art the Clown had been restrained by some chains, and alongside him was restrained a creepy little ghost girl, both naked.

And both of them were…actually trembling in utter fear.

Towering over them was a figure in a black Symbiotic suit with a red cape.

Spawn!

He glared at Art the Clown and the girl in absolute disgust and revulsion.

"I'll just have you two know… I fucking hate clowns."

With that, Spawn used one of his chains to rip apart Art…thing, making him scream, and it wasn't the silent sort of scream. After that, Spawn used another chain to pluck Art the Clown's left eye out!

Another chain brutally ran through the girl's mouth, causing her to spit out blood!

Two more chains ripped Art's arms off, making him scream even more!

In another part of Hell, Pinhead and the Cenobites were also having a bit of fun, in that they were torturing two people.

Or, to be more accurate- two Variants of the same person.

Margaret White from Earth-10005 and Margaret White from Earth-1.

"How dare you leave us here?!" Margaret screamed in utter rage and also fear.

"This is a complete perversion of God's vision!" White ranted madly too.

Pinhead gave the both of them a menacing glare.

"God does not have what it takes to show the sights we have for the two of you."

After that, only the screams of the two Variants of Margaret White were heard as hooked chains were seen flying.

Lucifer Morningstar sat on the throne of Hell, his thoughts drifting to Earth once more, specifically, Los Angeles, and even more specifically, certain people in Los Angeles, who always occupied his thoughts even when they were not with him.

The Detective, her little spawn, Mazikeen, Linda Martin, and yes…..even Detective Douche and his brother Amenadiel.

He then thought about his interesting venture a few months ago when his long-lost little bro Castiel had ended up here, having been abducted and brainwashed by a wanker by the name of Chuck Shurley impersonating Dad, whom Morningstar and Amenadiel had also ended up meeting.

But after Chuck had been taken down, it was back to this typical shtick of hearing the damned being tortured.

While he was here due to being needed, he truly missed it. Being in LA, and having a simple life of running Lux as well as helping the LAPD.

Though, even if he wasn't sure of when he'd be able to go back up there, he hoped all of them were doing fine.

That was when he sensed something, and stood up from his throne, hearing a flutter before Amenadiel appeared before him.

"Brother!" Morningstar called out, before seeing Amenadiel's expression, and knew it was not a social call this time. "What is it? From your face, I can tell you did not come to just visit me this time."

"Its time, Lucifer", Amenadiel said in a grave tone. "I believe you need to come back now."

Just the way Amenadiel was talking, and his face, they both had Morningstar concerned.

"Why? What has happened?"

Earth-1, Atlanta, Georgia, Jasper Winters' millhouse

Constantine stood behind the young Nora Darhk, who was holding out her hands, aiming them at a big stack of books, gritting her teeth, while he knelt near her.

"Just focus", Constantine said to her gently, a far cry from his usual self. "You still have the power within you, no need to let anything else influence it, am I right?"

Nora nodded, and then, focused on the stack, tilting her head, before the stack of books was lifted up into the air, making him smile happily.

"That's it, little bit", Constantine cheered, tapping her shoulder, as she lowered the stack of books, sighing in relief.

It had only been about two weeks since Constantine had taken in Nora Darhk, as he'd first tried to help her with a Demon inside of her, trying to exorcise it, but failed. However, it seemed to have gone into a slumber inside of her, and thus, Constantine had taken the girl as his protégé.

He'd to admit, the inspiration for this was Andy Barclay of all people, since he'd taken in Alice Pierce as his protégé and now she could fight to save her life, and so could that little spawn of Lucifer's detective in LA named Trixie Espinoza.

Plus, he still thought about Astra from time to time, and he did not want to fail another little girl the way he'd failed Astra.

And if he couldn't rid of the Demon within her, that is Mallus, then he could at least help her control it.

"Thank you, you really know how to teach well", Nora said to Constantine with a smile, as he just shook his head.

"I'm learning as much as you are, little bit."

From a distance, Chas Chandler and Zed Martin watched the sight, Zed noting. "We don't usually see him like this, do we?"

"Either way, I'm happy for him, they seem to be bonding", Chas had to say, when Zed suddenly grasped her head, feeling a great power all over the world.

"What is it?" Chas asked her in concern.

At the same time, Constantine closed his eyes and tilted his head, sensing the power himself due to how great it was…..and dark!

That was when his phone rang, and taking it out, he saw it was Oliver, so he quickly accepted the call.

"John, we've got trouble."

"Gonna have to be a little more specific there, mate, because you know the trouble I tend to get myself into."

"Michael Myers has been broken out, and he, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and Chucky are all working for a man calling himself Lucifer, as in the Devil, and he says that he is going to start up an Apocalypse."

Constantine twitched his brow in confusion on hearing that. Lucifer? Like….the Lucifer that he knew? Lucifer Morningstar?!

But none of this sounded like anything that Morningstar would do, not even before having settled down in Los Angeles!

And that could mean only one thing….

It must be some bloody faker!

"What else do you know about this guy?"

Star City

Councilwoman Pollard was cutting some flowers in her garden, thinking about a plan she wanted to pass to demolish a garden that had been part of the city for decades to establish a trade center there, a plan that the Mayor had shot down multiple times due to the garden being part of the city's heritage.

That brat Oliver Queen! Thinking he could do whatever he wanted with his power, she was going to show him soon, when she'd get all her required backing to put her plan into motion.

Suddenly, the hair at the back of her arms stood up, and she looked around, wondering if anyone was watching her.

Seeing that there was no one, she went back to cutting another flower when…

Something went into her ass! No, not something!

Multiple things!

A thousand vines!

Pollard screamed in utter agony, her body filling up with these vines and expanding, while tears rolled down her cheeks due to the pain, and her screaming got louder, as she continued for about five seconds.

And then, her body exploded in a shower of blood, drenching the flowers nearby, as well as the grass on the ground.

The vines that had invaded Pollard's body were all that were left, and then, they started morphing, taking a human shape, before turning into a person!

It was a greenish woman, wearing green clothes, her hair long and red, her lips being even redder than those hair of hers.

Poison Ivy!

Looking around at Pollard's blood that had spilled everywhere, Ivy scoffed in anger. "People like you… are exactly why nature is dying."

Ivy had come to Star City to get rid of Pollard, having heard all about her plans.

Suddenly, she heard clapping… and then looked up, seeing Lucifer standing before her.

"Who the hell are you?" Ivy asked, her vines prepared to strike out against him if he proved to be a threat to her.

His usual trademark grin crossed Lucifer's face.

"Let's just say… a friend. Someone that can help you protect the plants. Not just here, but everywhere."

That made Ivy curious.

"I'm listening."

Marais, Louisiana

Jason Woodrue aka Floronic Man was hiding out in a shed, having been here for about 2 months now, since he'd been driven away after his attack at the police station, and after that, he'd hidden out around here, not sure of what to do next.

He needed to save Caroline somehow! She still needed him!

That was when he felt something, and then heard a voice.

"You want your wife back? I'll give you your life back if you can work for us."

Turning, Woodrue saw War standing there, looking down at him with a neutral expression.

Earth-8096

Magneto and Quicksilver sat before a woman, who noted. "Why come to me?"

"The thing that crash-landed on Earth a while ago, I've a bad feeling about it", Magneto informed her. "That's not to mention all the recent alien attacks. Then I heard rumors that the Avengers were attacked by a powerful Mutant sometime ago but he is now in the Hydro-Base."

"And you believe I can tell you more about it?" The woman asked.

"Yes Destiny, I normally wouldn't come to you, but I fear for what is coming", Magneto told her. "Please, tell me more about this."

Destiny touched either side of her head with her hands, using her precognitive abilities as she gritted her teeth, trying to make out everything she saw, and then her jaw dropped.

"That doesn't look good", Quicksilver noted.

"A harbinger would come from a time not of his own, he would seek the death of the Gods of Mankind, to change the thread of fate. But this harbinger shall forewarn of the coming of something of greater danger than he could ever imagine. The Fires that bring Life, and end it."

Magneto's eyes widened, Quicksilver asking. "What does she mean?"

"A Mutant has come from the future", Magneto realized in awe, but needed to ask about another thing. "Tell me more about these fires."

Earth-199999, New York City

Storm climbed down a manhole, reaching down into the sewers, the bad smell irritating her nose, but she didn't care about that, considering why she was here.

Using some of her power, she managed to make sure the bad smell did not reach her too much, and started walking forwards, going deeper into the sewers with purpose in her mind.

As she reached further inside, she found an albino person with a pale complexion, who was sleeping while sitting on the ground.

Kneeling near him, Storm grasped his shoulder and shook him. "Caliban?"

The Mutant known as Caliban awoke with a start, due to the power near him, before snapping his head in Storm's direction.

"Oh! Its you!" Caliban sighed in relief. "Been a while, Storm."

"I know."

"Why are you here?"

"Guess you don't know. Evan got caught on camera when he brought in your latest Mutant in here, alongside his mother."

That made Caliban's eyes widen as he stood up, and walked off, leading Storm further into the sewers, until they reached what looked like a decrepit living area, with some blankets and pillows on the ground, and leftover of already eaten food.

Considering it was a sewer network being used as a network area, that was to be expected. But Storm's heart broke, as it always had, due to the conditions of these people, and now, it was even worse, due to who was part of them.

At a chair in the middle of the room sat the boney and spiked Mutant from earlier who'd saved the little Mutant boy and his mom from the agents. Storm noted the two of them were asleep on one of the blankets, clearly feeling safer down here in a sewer of all things, rather than up in the big city.

Said a lot about how their entire country had fallen from grace.

Some other Mutants, who did not look like normal people, were also about, into their own activities, though they shot Storm looks now and then.

"Evan", Storm greeted the leader of this group. "Its been a while."

"Call me Spyke, aunt Storm", Evan Daniels aka Spyke replied in greeting. "What brings you here? I told you I'm not coming back."

"People with cameras saw you and recorded you", Storm told her nephew in an urgent tone, and for a brief moment, could see the look of surprise on his face. "Looks like you didn't pay much attention while saving that kid and his mom."

"You're saying I shouldn't have done that?"

"I'm saying you should have been more careful; that's something we taught you when you were an X-Man."

"I'm not one of the X-Men anymore."

"But you're one of them now", Storm pointed out while gesturing at the small Mutant group around them. "Their leader in fact, and they are your responsibility. You were seen and recorded by people with cameras, now think about what'd happen if the people above are led here."

Spyke looked stricken, not having considered that, Storm telling him. "You're welcome to live above with us", she looked at the rest, "all of you are."

Spyke sighed. "I appreciate it, aunt Storm, but…..I do not know if I want to go back. If any of us want to go back up there, with what we look like, and all the discrimination. From what I saw", he gestured to the sleeping kid and his mom, "it has just gotten worse, due to this weird registration law or whatever." On noting Storm's look, he added. "I keep up enough to have an idea of what's going on outside this sewer."

Storm nodded with a sigh, and spoke. "If you don't want to come right now…I can understand. But our school is still safe. After the death of Jean, the President at that time passed an act discreetly which protects our school. So I promise you….you'll all be safe there."

She looked at all their faces, with the Mutant group looking deep in thought, Storm looking at Spyke sadly. "I wish you could come home."

Spyke sighed, wiping his eyes. "I wish that too, aunt Storm. But…the Morlocks have learnt not to get their hopes up too much."

Storm nodded, and looked at the group known as Morlocks one more time, before turning around. "Our door is always open for you. But regardless", she looked at the leftover food, "all of you deserve to sleep with full stomachs." She smiled. "We will make sure of that."

And then, she walked off, Spyke looking at her retreating form with a conflicted face.

She was his aunt, and she loved him so much, as did his parents, whom he still missed. He'd love to do exactly what Storm said but…..what about the rest of the Morlocks?

Caliban folded his arms as he looked at Spyke. "I think we'd benefit by listening to her."

Spyke nodded. "I know. Its just…." He groaned. "I'm not sure about anything right now."

Storm climbed out of the sewer, and put the manhole cover back on its place, then looked around, realizing no one had seen her, and walked off.

Unbeknownst to her, a drone up in the sky had seen her.

Avengers Compound

Stark sat at his laptop, with Ross by his side, and Rhodes on his other one, the three looking at the live-feed of Storm coming out of the sewer, while Ross held a device that controlled the drone.

"Now why would she go down there?" Tony wondered sarcastically. "Unless…..there's someone of interest?"

"I'd say there is, so, after mobilizing our team, we will be taking in whoever is down there", Ross said with a snarl, handing the device to Tony, who took it. "Just because we can't get the school doesn't mean we can't get others like them."

"Let's hope they come peacefully", Rhodes commented, Ross looking at both the men.

"You know, while I'm glad you two are with me, I have to say- didn't expect you to be fully on-board with any of this."

"For a while, I didn't think I'd be either", Tony told Ross, his eyes far-seeing, as if recalling old memories. "When I got out of that cave, I knew I'd been given a second shot at life, I wasn't going to waste that. I saw what my company was doing, and I shut down the weapons manufacturing, because I was tired of a system with zero accountability."

Then, he stood up, walking ahead as he looked out of the shattered windows, that had still not been repaired.

"But…..I made another weapon, one more powerful than all others." He turned around to face the other two. "My suit. Which everyone else wanted, but I kept it to myself, because I thought I was the hero, my hands were the safest ones. The attempted copycats had no idea what they were doing." He sighed and chuckled in self-depreciation. "But after what happened recently", his mind flashed to Ultron, "I realized our new system of superpowered people also had zero accountability to anything, except ourselves, which is dangerously arrogant, and I've to wonder why anyone would trust us if we think we're the best."

He shook his head. "Cap, Widow, Clint and Sam, they think they know best, and while I still respect them, they've shown they're anarchists now, and do not want to work the way we work in a civil society- by compromising with those in-charge."

Ross nodded in agreement, smirking, as Tony continued. "But I was never an anarchist. Even when I didn't want my suits to be taken, I came in to argue my case with the Senate, like a civilized person would do, I did not run away to become a criminal. Which is why I'm disappointed in them."

"So am I, man", Rhodes said in agreement. "I've always tried to get you to work with the government anyways. They aren't perfect, but if we don't work with them, what makes us any different from the bad guys?"

"Anyone who is misusing their powers, even for good, is not fit to be out there right now", Tony finally said, looking firm. "Like my weapons, they're gonna cause more harm than good. Mutants, Inhumans, Enhanced, anyone, if they don't sign, they need to come in, and answer for their lack of accountability."

"I'm glad to hear that, truly", Ross said, looking quite impressed. "I'm unable to contact the team we sent after Banner right now, no idea why. When they come back, I'll be mobilizing them to send them after whoever is in the sewers."

"While the SHRA taskforce and MRD are fine and all, why don't we bring in the FBI and CIA proper as well?" Tony asked Ross.

"The agencies as a whole have many duties of their own, so they'll do their usual jobs. Not to mention, for CIA, most of them are looking for the now-disbanded and defunct IMF, Hunley is obsessed with catching their top rogue agent", Ross said with a groan, not realizing the irony. "What a waste! But either way, even if the team sent to take in Banner do not return, I'll mobilize one to go after the people in this sewer."

With that, he walked off, as Tony and Rhodes shared a look, before Tony asked Ross. "Want to know the progress on that thing we'd talked about?"

"What about it?" Ross asked, turning around again.

Tony smirked. "Just a few days from completion. And it'll be as glorious as me when we finally show it to the world."

Ross smirked back.

Asgard

Heimdall stood on-guard, when his senses picked up on something, and he looked up, trying to find what was unseen to the naked eye.

At that moment, a green mist appeared in the area, and when it faded, Enchantress was there, sitting upon a Fire Dragon of Muspelheim.

"You shall not pass!" Heimdall declared, twirling Hofund as the Fire Dragon hurled a huge blast of flames that Heimdall blocked with Hofund, which was when someone else jumped upon his observatory, breaking part of it just by landing on there.

For once in centuries, Heimdall felt fear, looking upon Surtur, who had now entered Asgard.

"All-Seer", Surtur taunted Heimdall. "I am Asgard's doom, and you shall not be able to be an obstacle in my path!"

With that, he swung his Twilight Sword, unleashing the fiery power upon Heimdall, who put Hofund in the way to block, gritting his teeth as the flames started scorching his skin.

He roared, trying to move forth, and push back against the fire, but to no avail, as the power of Surtur's blast disarmed him of Hofund and he was struck on the chest by the fire, the impact sending him flying off of his observatory.

"Attack Asgard!" Surtur then ordered Enchantress, who nodded gleefully.

"With pleasure."

There was another green mist, and when it faded, many Fire Dragons had appeared all around Asgard, and they started flying forth, Enchantress also flying on her Fire Dragon while Surtur marched ahead too.

Heimdall flipped as he fell downwards, and then, holding out his hand, managed to grab onto the rocky outcrops around Himinbjorg, grunting due to having been burnt and being in pain, smoke rising from his body.

He looked up, eyes widening in horror as he saw the various Fire Demons all flying towards the main citadel of Asgard, breathing fire, burning buildings as various civilians ran here and there, trying to avoid the flames.

From the backs of the Fire Dragons jumped down various Fire Demons, striking down Asgardians that were nearby, as some Einherjar rushed forth to fight them, trying to push them back.

One Einherjar stabbed a Fire Demon, before another grabbed him by the neck, making him scream as he was utterly burnt, while the Fire Dragon that Enchantress sat on breathed fire from above, burning a bunch of them simultaneously, their dying screams being the last thing heard as they were completely incinerated.

Surtur himself marched forwards, swinging his Twilight Sword, and cutting down two big houses at their center, the powerful fire of his Twilight Sword causing the debris of the two houses to incinerate and explode in a flash of flames, the explosions setting fire to more houses nearby, as Asgardian civilians ran around in terror, while the Einherjar, disorganized due to not having expected this attack, were also pushed back due to the assault of the Fire Demons and Fire Dragons.

"Tremble before me Asgard, for I am your doom!"

Heimdall just looked at the destruction in horror, before taking in a deep breath, knowing what he had to do now.

And so, he closed his eyes, before opening them, finding him.

Skurge had been thrown down, when he saw a large Fire Demon rushing right at him, only for a sword to stab into its throat from the right, an old Asgardian warrior having jumped in, his hands on the sword, as he used it to slice across the Fire Demon's throat, making it fall down and explode in a shower of sparks, while the warrior landed on the ground.

He held out a hand to Skurge. "Stand up, Asgardian."

Grasping his hand, Skurge stood up with a grunt. "I was standing." The old warrior raised a brow. "Horizontally."

"HA! That's the spirit." The old warrior clapped his shoulder before holding out his hand, an orange light appearing, crystalline in appearance before the warrior's hand grabbed it, making it assume a solid form of wood and metal, the warrior placing the newly materialized axe in the younger Asgardian's hand. "Make use of this, will you? Alarr!" The old warrior turned and yelled out as another Asgardian came running to him, two swords in hand, covered in grim and Demon blood and ash.

"Commander?"

"Order the skiffs to lure the Dragons away from the city, and let the turrets pick them off." The old warrior moved his head to another Asgardian as Alarr followed his orders. "Gallon, find Kelda, we need her magic to secure a perimeter around the palace before we can raise the barrier. With haste, man! And get my goats!" The old commander ordered before his eyes locked onto more Demons moving through to the plaza.

"Orders, sir?" The warrior beside him raised his shield and spear, only for the elder Asgardian to lower them.

"Gather any survivors and retreat to palace." He said before unclasping his cloak, dropping it to the floor. "Leave these beasts to me." He said in a low tone.

The Asgardians and Skurge looked to each other before making haste to move through the city, leaving the task to one of Asgard's oldest and greatest warriors.

"Come then, you bastards." Tyr walked forth with steady steps and an iron gaze.

The Fire Demons all glared at him, as Tyr took one step forwards, and they all hurled fireballs, when a silhouette of weapons appeared in front of Tyr in an orange glow, defending him from the fireballs, while he continued to walk forwards fearlessly.

Then, stopping, Tyr held out his hand, weapons appearing in solid form and levitating all around Tyr at high speeds while defending him like a shield, and he rushed forth, grabbing one levitating sword and slicing a Fire Demon down, before grabbing another and slicing another Fire Demon, and then another.

After that, he leapt into the air by stepping on one Fire Demon's head, his levitating weapons cutting another Fire Demon down, before he wrapped his feet around another and broke its neck while landing on the ground.

He then twirled his hand, the levitating weapons cutting down many Fire Demons to his left, stopping their barrage of fireballs.

Turning around, Tyr started walking back up the steps, some Fire Demons running behind him. Only, the silhouette of weapons was in their way, and as soon as the Fire Demons ran into those, the weapons became tangible, and running into those weapons was all it took for the Fire Demons to get wounded and fall back into other Fire Demons, sending them all toppling down the steps.

Tyr suddenly seemed to disappear from the area alongside his weapons, and then, he appeared high in the air at the top of a huge building, cutting down a Fire Demon trying to scale it, and then, he threw the sword into another building on the other side, sticking the sword in the wall, before appearing there, and grabbing the sword, leapt down, cutting another Fire Demon trying to scale this building.

Another Fire Demon scaling the building hurled a fireball at him that he deflected while kicking that Fire Demon down too, letting his sword go.

Then, grabbing his sword, Tyr impaled it through the Fire Demon's gut, the sword protruding from its back, and he pulled it out, throwing the Fire Demon down while flipping in the air.

And then, as he landed, a Fire Dragon breathed powerful flames upon Tyr, completely covering the area around him, but when the fire stopped, they all saw the silhouette of Tyr's weapons levitating around him at high speeds with an orange glow, still defending him from any attacks.

Tyr then held out both hands, calling an axe in one, and a sword in another, the two glowing orange in their crystalline forms before becoming solid in his hands.

Tyr then leapt at the Fire Dragon with a battle cry just as someone road into the air, flying goats pulling a chariot as they rammed into another Fire Dragon.

"FOR ASGARD!"

Earth-1, Los Angeles

Morningstar and Amenadiel were walking through the streets of LA, as Amenadiel finished telling his brother. "And that was when I sensed it again."

"So first, two months ago", Morningstar noted, deep in thought. "And then, just today, even stronger, huh?"

"Yes, and I fear whatever this is, its going to get worse. Which is why I've come to you. We're gonna need your help to stop it."

"So… you're the real Devil, huh?"

Hearing the voice, the two Angelic brothers turned around to see Lucifer standing before them, his arms folded, a smirk on his face.

Morningstar tilted his head, staring down Lucifer. "And who's asking?"

Lucifer's smirk grew wider. "They call me Lucifer too in my world."

"Oh puh-lease!" Morningstar scoffed. "You look nothing like me! You're clearly a fake."

"That is true… but considering the joyous stuff I did to this world. I might as well as be just as real as you."

Amenadiel's eyes widened in horror as he realized what Lucifer was talking about. "Those people who all thought they were seeing Demons…it was you, wasn't it?"

Lucifer nodded. "Indeed, and how nice of you two to finally meet me as well."

"It won't be nice for you, git", Morningstar snarled, clutching his fists. "You must be one of the fakes created by that sod Chuck. But we will show you."

Lucifer's eyes turned red as he began to laugh, while Amenadiel roared. "We will stop you!"

Fistfight Battle (HQ) - Dragon Ball Super Norihito Sumitomo plays

Rushing forwards, Amenadiel threw a hard punch to Lucifer's face!

To his shock, while Lucifer staggered back VERY slightly, he was pretty much unaffected, as he just looked at Amenadiel with his infuriating smirk.

And then, he threw a punch at Amenadiel's stomach, causing him to puke out blood as he fell to his knees!

"Brother!" Morningstar yelled, taking his Devil face as he charged at Lucifer, and then punched him three times in the face, staggering him back very slightly with each punch but overall….his punches had no effect!

Horrified, Morningstar shook his head.

"Sod it!" he hurled a fireball from his hand at Lucifer, scorching most of his upper clothes, but Lucifer himself was completely unaffected.

"Is this really what you can do, Luci?" Lucifer chuckled, his destroyed upper clothes regenerating to cover the body of Nick once more. "I would've expected the Devil, the real one, to at least pack a punch! But… I guess you're just too weak to be considered the Devil." Smirking, he told Morningstar. "You should be like me, admit it, you're just like me, only then can you have the power."

"I'm nothing like you", Morningstar snarled.

"Keep telling yourself that."

And then, Lucifer punched Morningstar thrice in the stomach, making him gasp in pain as he went down to his knees, before Lucifer punched his face twice, taking out a tooth with the second punch that Morningstar spat away, blood pouring out of his mouth now.

Amenadiel rushed at them from behind but without even turning around, Lucifer whacked his face hard, sending him rolling to the ground, bleeding badly, before Lucifer picked up Morningstar and slammed him the ground on his face, shattering that part of the pavement.

Morningstar groaned in pain, bloodied, as Lucifer stomped his foot on Morningstar's back, laughing maniacally while Morningstar screamed.

"Now this is both quite disappointing… and yet, relishing at the same time. Because now… this Multiverse will recognize me as the Devil! Thank you for giving me that title."

Removing his foot from top of Morningstar, Lucifer walked off, the Angelic brothers watching him as they struggled to get up, and then, Lucifer disappeared, leaving both Morningstar and Amenadiel completely embarrassed by his beating.

Middle-earth

Sora, Donald and Goofy arrived near a pile of dead Uruk-hai and Orcs, smoldering from the fire still. A head of one of the Uruks was rammed onto a pike as a sign of defiance.

"That's…too much", Sora muttered, sharing a look with Donald and Goofy, who looked like they agreed, their faces showing their discomfort at this sight.

There was a lot in this world which discomforted the Trio. Sure, they had faced Ansem the Seeker of Darkness and Organization XIII, and all these minions of Darkness, but there was just something about this world and the brutality they'd seen here which made it seem…..more real, for a lack of better word.

"Looks like someone took out these creatures who took the Hobbits", Goofy noted finally. "And gawrsh, the battle must have been something!"

"I know…but where are the Hobbits?" Donald asked, panting, the run until here having taken a lot out of him, and both Sora and Goofy seemed to be the same themselves. It was like they'd run as fast as horses.

Feeling something, Sora turned towards an ominous, dark forest, just a few feet away, and walked towards it, with Donald and Goofy noting where he was going, and walking right behind him, until they were at the border of the forest.

All three felt a shudder due to the feeling from within the forest, Donald asking. "Are we going to go inside there?"

Sora sighed. "Don't think there is anything else we can do if we have to find Merry and Pippin."

"Gawrsh…..its like there is something really twisted inside there, Sora, Donald", Goofy had to say, and neither could disagree.

But either way, Sora's mind was made up.

"Let's go."

Taking a deep breath, Sora let it out and walked into Fangorn Forest, with Donald and Goofy walking right behind him.

Earth-8096, New York City

Bruce Banner, with his bag behind him, was walking on the road, ready to leave the city for now, so he could finally have some peace of mind all alone somewhere, and enjoy the time of his life, before a new mess pulled him and Hulk both back. He already knew something had crashed here a while ago, but, as selfish as it sounded, he was going to go off on his own to relax, before he came back for anything.

Both him and Hulk needed the break.

He decided he would stop a cab now to drop him on the outskirts, but just as he started raising his hand, he lowered his, feeling something off.

While he was not a skilled soldier or agent or whatever else like his teammates, he had spent years on the run, just like the Hulk had. His mind gave him a sense of when things were seemingly wrong.

He looked around here and there on the road, looking for anyone who seemed suspicious. But there was no one.

Only, at that moment, a dart hit him on the neck, causing him to gasp, before he ripped it out, and threw it to the ground.

Grunting, Bruce ran off from the area, trying to dodge whoever it was that had fired the dart at him, hoping they wouldn't see him as he ran into an alley, his adrenaline rising.

"Can't even let me have a moment of peace!" Bruce snapped, his anger rising, as he willed himself to try and transform.

Only, to his horror, while his skin did turn a shade of grey, it turned back to normal the very next second, and no matter how much he willed it, he was unable to truly transform.

By now, he'd reached an alley, and was still running, when a beam of light hit him, causing him to gasp as he glowed brightly, and then disappeared from the area in a flash of light alongside his bag.

From a nearby rooftop, Taskmaster lowered his gun-like device that he'd used to fire the beam of light at Bruce Banner, and tapped his comms.

"The test was a success."

Earth-1

Lucifer was in the forest once more, as War approached him, looking quite pleased himself. "We've got them all now."

"Good", Lucifer said with a grin as he looked at his current army- War himself, Michael Myers, Chucky, Tiffany Valentine, Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Candyman, Helen Lyle, Leatherface, Pennywise the Dancing Clown, Poison Ivy, Floronic Man, a very creepy looking pale kid with a cat near him, an old man wearing a robe and hood, and a blonde, middle-aged beautiful woman holding some kind of book.

Floronic Man was speaking to Ivy right now. "I must say, it is good to see you again, Pamela."

"You too, Dr. Woodrue", Ivy commented, smirking at the way he looked. "This new look of yours…I quite like it, you're adding to the greenery."

Floronic Man chuckled. "Indeed I do, and I'd be fascinated to study how your body works now too, when I have the time."

"Now, now", Ivy muttered, shaking her head as she looked away. "This body is not for studying, besides, I'm a scientist too, I can explain how it works later."

Floronic Man sighed, then shrugged. "All right."

"Got to say, this kind of chaos you're planning, definitely sounds like my thing", the kid, Klarion, said to Lucifer with a toothed smirk as he rubbed his hands together in excitement, his cat Teekl meowing nearby.

"Yes, now I can have my revenge, and regain my might", the old man, Felix Faust added, looking around in anticipation, having been saved by Lucifer's time-travel at the moment Chas' grenade had exploded, being brought to the present.

Lucifer looked at all of them.

"Alright boys… let's start the Apocalypse, shall we?"

The blonde, middle-aged woman, Ruby Knowby of the past, who'd killed her more reasonable future self, then later found herself in present day after Ash had defeated Baal, before being approached by War with this very enticing offer, smiled, holding up the Necronomicon.

"Just say the word."

And with that, Lucifer snapped his fingers, with all of them disappearing from the area, having been transported out of Earth-1.

Los Angeles

Morningstar and Amenadiel groggily walked over to an apartment, still healing from the beating they'd received, though their pride was another matter, as they were feeling utterly humiliated.

"How could he defeat us so easily like that?" Amenadiel wondered, putting a hand to the wall near the door, both panting.

"It should not be possible!" Morningstar said, before knocking on the door, and a few seconds later, it was opened….by Mazikeen!

"Lucifer…" Maze trailed off on seeing him, and was shocked by how bloodied he and Amenadiel both looked.

"Mazikeen…" Morningstar greeted her back with a bloodied grin, and, in a rare show of affection, Maze gave Morningstar an embrace, that he returned gladly, the two friends happy to be reunited again.

As they parted, Maze asked the two. "What happened to you two?"

"It was a faker!" Amenadiel said with a pained grunt, causing her to look at up. "Some other powerful being, also calling himself Lucifer."

"If he was a faker, how come you two look like you were beaten badly?" Maze inquired, not believing it.

"We are trying to figure it out ourselves, but as of now, this fake Lucifer is a threat that needs to be stopped, brother told me he caused people to hallucinate Demons, and many died", Morningstar said with a grunt, Maze's eyes widening as she realized the reason for what had happened all over the world now, and wondered just how bad this other Lucifer was.

"Lucifer?"

Hearing the voice, Morningstar looked up, and behind Maze, to see Detective Chloe Decker standing there, looking at him in disbelief, and sadness, as well as horror, the horror being due to how he looked.

"Detective", he greeted her with a smile, slowly walking inside. "It is-"

He was cut off when Decker gave him a comforting hug, and Morningstar was actually caught off-guard by it, but then, he smiled, and hugged her back, the two happy to be with each other once more.

Central City

Constantine stood before Green Arrow, Flash, White Canary, Batman, Static Shock, Vixen and Carrie White, all of them still looking quite beaten up, which they were, and were still recovering.

"You're telling us not to interfere?" Bruce asked, not believing what he was hearing. "You know what he can do, and-"

"This is not the area of expertise of most of you lot", Constantine pointed out with a shrug. "Its either crime, or something out of those science-fiction movies, am I right?"

"You are", Barry admitted begrudgingly. "Still…..I wish I was faster, I could have helped more then."

"Maybe, but he is right, this is not our area of expertise." Oliver agreed with Constantine, then shared a look with Bruce. "Sure, we've faced Chucky, Damien Darhk and Freddy Krueger, but Chucky and Damien Darhk, I needed the help of people with magic to beat 'em, Constantine himself helped with Chucky, while Vixen and Carrie here, plus two others, helped with Damien." He added while looking at Bruce. "Freddy, we managed to pull him out of the Dream World, luckily. But this guy…he seemed to be something else."

"And even without that, while he is out there, doing all this, the crimes in our cities won't stop", Sara added with a sigh.

"Yeah, and there's other stuff to worry about too", Virgil added, thinking about home, plus homework, and school. That was important as well.

Bruce did not look satisfied, but he could see their point, so he turned to Constantine.

"Do I have your word, that you will take this guy down?"

"Well…." Constantine trailed off, then shrugged. "I will. Because the capes and tights crew... useless against dark magic."

"I would come, but like White Canary said, crime is not gonna slow down in our cities", Mari pointed out sadly.

"True, but…" Barry looked to Carrie. "Maybe you could go with him, right?"

"Why is that?" Oliver inquired of Barry.

"You didn't see her, she was the only one who managed to affect him", Barry informed Oliver and the rest. "When he was beating on me, she threw him off with her power."

That caused the rest to look at her in surprise as Carrie said. "Its been a long while since I've used that kind of power, I didn't even realize I could use such power still. Last time was against a really powerful guy."

"Well, if you can do anything to him, you can help, luv", Constantine said with a smirk, and she sighed, then nodded.

"All right, I'll come with you."

She turned to the rest, Barry saying. "Good luck, Carrie." They shared a hug, then parted, as the rest nodded at Carrie too, and she nodded back, before turning to Constantine.

"So, when do we begin?"

"Well, from what they say, this guy has been recruiting people", Constantine said as he and Carrie walked off together. "So, I think I should do the same."

"I hope they can stop him", Sara said, with Virgil hovering higher into the air.

"All right, guys, I got to go", Virgil told them, then flew off on his saucer, waving at them, as they waved back.

"And I need to get faster", Barry then declared firmly, the rest looking at him strangely.

"It wasn't your fault", Oliver pointed out to him. "No matter how fast you were, this guy was something else, I don't think you could have done much."

"Yeah, but…I could have done better", Barry said sadly, thinking of certain moments over the past year. "And now just now, but before too."

"What do you mean?" Mari inquired.

"I don't use my speed properly. People much slower than me can touch me even though they shouldn't", Barry told all of them as he looked up. "So, I've decided- I'll try to get faster, and get better too."

"Trying to fight smart, that's what I've always told you", Oliver reminded Barry, who nodded. "I guess I should say good luck."

"Thanks", Barry said, and shared nods with the rest, then sped off back to STAR Labs, with the rest starting to make their ways back to their cities too.

Oliver and Bruce walked side-by-side, Oliver sighing. "I'm sorry about earlier."

Bruce shook his head. "All this just proves our little project is the right thing to do. And we've got a good bunch of us together already."

"Not wrong", Oliver agreed with a nod. "Just need to find the right time to approach the rest."

Earth-8096, Genosha

Blink held open the portal as the Javelin came through it, with Blink closing the portal while the Javelin descended, opening up, allowing for Captain America to walk out alongside Vision, and they were soon joined by Black Panther as well.

The three Avengers descended, walking towards a beautiful red-haired woman who wore a red corset with a tiara of the same shade, and behind her stood a green-haired woman with similar facial features, her outfit a bit skimpier, with other Mutants around them as well.

"You must be the Scarlet Witch", Captain America greeted the red-haired woman politely, holding out his hand. Scarlet Witch looked hesitant, but shook it.

"We're still not that trustworthy of humans, but the X-Men vouched for you", Scarlet Witch said to him. "While we don't always see eye-to-eye, I've seen that the X-Men do care about Mutants as much as humans, so I welcome you to Genosha."

"Black Panther, King of Wakanda", Black Panther introduced himself, holding out his hand that she shook too. "We will honor your faith in us."

They dropped hands, Scarlet Witch walking forth with the other woman, the three Avengers right behind them, as Scarlet Witch asked. "So, what brings you here to our island?"

"Magneto", Vision said, Scarlet Witch's eye twitching at the name, and the other woman had the same reaction, both turning around.

"What'd did he do now?" The green-haired one, Polaris, asked, unable to hide her emotions in her tone.

"Nothing yet, but according to Wolverine, he might try", Captain America revealed, and now the two sisters looked intrigued.

"What exactly is going on?" Scarlet Witch inquired.

"A Mutant from the future attacked the Avengers, blaming us for a bad future where Mutants are hunted, and we Avengers are apparently part of it", Captain America said, his tone giving away how ashamed he felt of that, even if it was an apparent future, with both Scarlet Witch and especially Polaris looking quite wary of the three Avengers at that. "However, with help from Wolverine and Cyclops, we took him down and captured him. We tried to question him but he didn't tell us anything that we already didn't know."

"The information we have so far comes from the Professor in the future", Black Panther added from his own end. "He has not contacted the X-Men since then."

"Wolverine says Magneto will make a move once he gains information about this incident", Vision took up the talk now. "Especially considering the energy making way for Earth."

"What energy?" Polaris inquired.

"The Phoenix Force", Captain America gave them its name. "From what we know, it's a psychic entity that has been afflicting telepaths since Mutants first came into existence."

"And when it fully matures within a host, it takes over them completely. Only death and destruction follow", Black Panther said, both Scarlet Witch and Polaris looking horrified. "Its most recent host was Jean Grey of the X-Men."

"A shadow cabinet of Mutants named the Inner Circle made moves to try and extract it from Jean Grey", Vision explained now. "Allegedly, to expunge it from Earth, which was theoretically possible if it had not matured. However, once they succeeded, they decided to try and control it and use its power."

"Had they gone crazy?" Scarlet Witch asked in horror.

"One former member- Emma Frost, who still believed in the original goal, sacrificed herself to stop the Phoenix Force, and it dissipated into nothingness at the time", Captain America informed the sisters. "But it's coming back now, to Earth."

"What made it come back?" Polaris inquired.

"I believe you're familiar with Apocalypse", Black Panther said, and now both the sisters shared a nearly scared look.

"We are", Polaris of all people said, now looking the Avengers in the eyes. "He abducted me for his plans at one time, because he said I'd a meta-plague that could kill anyone not vaccinated, and Sinister was going to harness this meta-plague."

"That was the last time we saw our father and brother", Scarlet Witch added. "They helped me and the X-Men in saving her." Her expression darkened. "But…..one fatherly act does not change everything else our father has done."

Captain America nodded in understanding, before adding. "During their final fight against Apocalypse, the X-Men were helped by another version of X-Men from a different Universe."

"You mean….." Scarlet Witch trailed off. "They came from those portals that opened after that wormhole."

"That is correct, and their Jean had a version of the Phoenix Force too. She shared it with this Earth's Jean for a brief period, and they wiped out Apocalypse together", Vision finished explanations. "Our hypothesis is that this is what is now drawing the Phoenix Force back to Earth."

"And you believe father might try to interfere with this when he finally finds out", Polaris realized in horror.

"Do you have any idea where he could be? Any guesses?" Captain America inquired of the two Mutant sisters.

"Father believes everything he does is for the good of Mutants, to help them overcome the tyranny of humanity", Scarlet Witch told them what she thought of her father. "He was even willing to have Sentinels attack this place- a sanctuary, just to manipulate everyone into a Mutant-human war. He was willing to kill the Mutants he claims to fight for."

Even Vision looked disgusted, and he was a machine still learning emotions, so this said a lot.

"So you're right to believe he will try something the moment he hears of it", Scarlet Witch informed the Avengers. "I know one person he can go to."

"Who?"

"Destiny. A Mutant who can see future probabilities. She has been an acquaintance of father and Mystique for a long time. She and Mystique even used to be married."

"So, shall we go to her?" Black Panther inquired.

"Yes, but if father has already reached out to her, then there is no point", Scarlet Witch warned. "In that case, he is already preparing to make his move, and we'll know it when has made it." Her face softened. "However, I'll still give you Destiny's location just in case."

Captain America smiled. "Thank you, Wanda."

Middle-earth, Fangorn Forest

Sora, Donald and Goofy had ventured deeper into this forest now, with Donald using his staff to provide some light around them due to the looming darkness of the Fangorn Forest, the place giving them the creeps for reasons that they couldn't tell.

"I feel something from this forest", Sora told the other two.

"Yeah, like what?" Donald asked with a shudder.

"Just….some sort of darkness…but also light!" Sora commented, as a groan was heard around the entire place, making Donald and Goofy jump a little, when Sora sensed something, turning to his left, where Donald was, the edges of his staff's light revealing a figure in the distance.

Seeing where he was looking, the two of them turned into the same direction as well, making out the figure of what looked to be an old, bent man, leaning on a staff, and wrapped in a great cloak.

"Uhhh…..do you need any help, old sir?" Goofy asked the figure, before Sora's eyes widened, remembering Lady Galadriel had mentioned 'Saruman the White', who was of the same order as Gandalf.

And this person was holding a staff, while seeming to be quite old. Plus, Sora could sense some darkness from him.

He summoned his 'Fellowship' Keyblade quickly. "Back off, Saruman!"

Donald and Goofy looked at Sora in surprise, then back to their friend, but the old man was already gone, and Sora sighed, his Keyblade disappearing.

"Ya sure he was Saruman, Sora?" Donald asked his friend, and Sora nodded.

"I could feel darkness from him, and he resembled Gandalf, Lady Galadriel said they were of the same order", Sora reminded the two while also explaining his own reasoning, the three now continuing on.

Gandalf the White soundtrack plays

"Gawrsh, I wonder what he was doing here", Goofy wondered out loud. "Especially since he ran off without picking a fight with us."

"Maybe he just wanted to mess with us", Sora noted, before sensing something once more, and then, he turned to his right, Donald and Goofy following his gaze, as a bright light suddenly shone in the area, blinding them all briefly.

Only, the light seemed to feel comforting after a while and Sora thought it felt…familiar. Not to mention, sort of…a great light?

"You are tracking the footsteps of two young Hobbits." The figure said in a deep voice.

"Where are they?" Sora asked.

"They passed this way the day before yesterday." The figure said in a deceitful tone.

But then his voice seemed to change. He seemed almost cheerful when he said, "They met someone they did not expect. Does that comfort you?"

"How is that supposed to comfort us?" Donald wondered while scratching his head.

Sora's eyes widened as he realized something.

"Who are you exactly?" He finally asked.

The figure passed the staff from his right hand to his left hand. This action seemed to dispel the blinding light around him. And there stood not Saruman…..

….But Gandalf!

Their eyes widened beyond disbelief.

"Gandalf!" Sora greeted him happily, Donald and Goofy looking happy as well.

"Gandalf?" Gandalf muttered, before recognition dawned on his face. "Ah, yes. That was what they used to call me. Gandalf the Grey. That was my name."

"Gandalf." Donald muttered too.

"I am Gandalf the White." Gandalf revealed his new title with a raised eyebrow, "And I come back to you now...at the turn of the tide."

"We could definitely use the help of someone like ya", Goofy said, Gandalf the White now walking down towards them. "How did ya even survive that fall?"

Gandalf's eyes focused on the darkness of Fangorn as he recounted to the Trio, "Through fire...and water. From the lowest dungeon to the highest peak...I fought with the Balrog of Morgoth. Until at last I threw down my enemy...and smote his ruin upon the mountainside. Darkness took me...and I strayed out of thought and time. Stars wheeled overhead...and every day was as long as a life age of the Earth. But it was not the end. I felt life in me again."

He then stood next to them all.

"I've been sent back...until my task is done." He told them.

"Which is to stop Sauron, isn't it?" Sora asked, Gandalf nodding at that. "Tell us, how can we help?"

"The land that you passed to come here is known as Rohan, and it is the home of the Horse-Lords", Gandalf explained to the Trio, now walking before them, and they followed behind. "It is being besieged by Saruman as we speak."

"Oh yeah, about that", Sora said, causing Gandalf to turn to him. "I think we saw him just before we saw you."

"What did he do?" Gandalf inquired with a raised eyebrow.

"Nothing, he just left as soon as we prepared to fight him", Sora revealed, Gandalf looking troubled by this information. "I am not sure what he was trying to do."

"It sounds quite concerning, but we have more concerning matters", Gandalf said, and then told them what they needed to do. "The region in Rohan known as Westfold has been attacked by Saruman's forces frequently, and in battle, its Lord Erkenbrand and his forces' remains were scattered. I need the three of you to find them."

"Just one thing, where is this Westfold?" Goofy asked the important question.

"The path you used to come here, follow the west side of it", Gandalf explained to the Trio. "And you will find it, then you can look for Erkenbrand and his forces. Ask them to go to the fortress of Helm's Deep, and go with them."

"Will we meet you there?" Sora inquired, Gandalf looking ahead.

"I hope we meet there, young ones", Gandalf assured them as he looked at the three again with a smile. "Your coming is a great aid to us all." His face darkened. "Yet, great peril has come too."

"The Heartless, I know", Sora said with a sigh.

"Indeed", Gandalf said, turning around. "And with the paths between all worlds still open, I fear even worse enemies of yours could follow, and the Dark Lord might try to get aid from beyond too."

That horrified the Trio, Donald saying. "That would be too much for this world!"

"It will be", Gandalf confirmed with a nod. "Which is why we must make haste. Go!"

"Where will you be?" Sora asked Gandalf. "And what about the Hobbits?"

"I left Merry and Pippin with a friend, who shall keep them safe. Meanwhile, I am going to meet some other friends of mine, and go to Edoras, for the King's mind has been overthrown by Saruman. I must save him."

"Good luck", Sora said with a thumb-up, Gandalf turning around and nodding with a smile.

"I hope luck aids you in your quest too", Gandalf said to them all, before turning back and walking off, the Trio staring after him.

"It was good to see him, eh fellas?" Goofy asked, Sora and Doanld nodding at that.

"Let's go."

With that, they started rushing out of Fangorn Forest to do what Gandalf had said.

Earth-1, Central City, Hawkins House

Virgil sighed in relief, having not missed his curfew this time somehow, in spite of having been in another city this time for a bit. Must be a perk of having your meta-human powers being unlocked by the Flash's lightning.

He quickly knocked on the door, and got inside, closing it up, and running upstairs, put his bag down, before going down, seeing his father standing there, but on seeing Virgil's face, his face fell, due to the wounds Virgil still had.

"What happened?" Robert asked in concern as Virgil walked to him.

"Rough crowd, dad, I try to stay away but they're everywhere", Virgil muttered, feeling bad as he'd to lie to his father, but he didn't want them to get involved in all this now.

In fact, if he could, he'd go back in time and never tell Richie either, so that no one else would be in potential danger due to knowing his secret.

"Should I call uncle Joe? Have him go to these people and pistol whip them?" Robert inquired, but Virgil shook his head.

"Nah, I think there's no need", Virgil assured Robert, standing next to him. "I'll try to be careful next time."

"I know…..its just, its my job to worry", Robert said sadly, putting a hand to his son's shoulder. "I know you're a responsible young man. I just hope you continue to stay that way."

"I will, dad."

STAR Labs

Barry grunted, taking a seat, Patty and Henry having supported him till now, his wounds healing, though there was still quite a bit left to go.

"The Devil, really?" Cisco asked, him and Caitlin, as well as Joe, all staring in utter horror.

"At least he said that he was", Barry told them with a groan. "And with all that he could do…..I guess he might as well be." Chills ran down the spines of the rest of them at the implications as Barry shook his head. "Still, wish I could have done more."

"Barry, if he was actually the Devil", Henry muttered with a shudder while he started cleaning up the knife wound on Barry's shoulder, Caitlin walking to them with bandages to help out. "I think you did just fine, you couldn't have done more."

"Henry is right, Barr", Joe commented himself. "Meta-humans are one thing, but we got things way beyond that nowadays, like….the Devil? Really?"

"I get what you're saying, I do", Barry assured everyone he wasn't disregarding opinions. "But, I've realized I need to get faster, and also use the speed better."

"Why is that?" Caitlin asked, finally bandaging him up. "I mean, you're pretty fast, right?"

"I am, but I still get hit by people who're way slower", Barry pointed out the problem. "So I do need to get faster."

"And how do you plan to do that?" Patty inquired, the rest all looking at him in interest.

"You're not gonna like this."

They all stared at him, waiting for his answer.

"I need to go to Thawne."

And this ends another one. Thanks a lot to Brainstorm Sorcerer for his help on the Civil War, Asgardians, and EMH Hulk bit, and to gussygus28 for all his help with the SPN Lucifer stuff.

So, EMH Enchantress sent EMH Fire Demons to MCU Vanaheim, distracting the Thors, Hercules, Sif and Warriors Three, while EMH Enchantress, MCU Surtur and his army attacked MCU Asgard.

I hope the cameo of Tyr was enjoyed, the 2nd Thor film barely had him, but he was badass here. He won't be Odin's son here, just a very old and badass Asgardian warrior who has fought alongside Odin.

EMH Thor's tale about his past was a reference to 'Thor: Tales of Asgard', which is supposedly canon to Earth-8096, and I don't think it contradicts much either, as it took place long ago, so Thor/Sif could have broken up later, while as Thor became the guy he is now, Amora became enamored with him, and Loki's start of darkness drove her away from him, and Balder could simply have been away on some other errand at the time of the film.

And for the Sword of Surtur, I explained it already.

To differentiate, MCU is Thor and EMH is Odinson.

In Middle-earth, KH Trio has reunited with Gandalf the White, who has told them to get Erkenbrand. In books, Éomer returned to Edoras and was at Helm's Deep from start while Gandalf went to get Erkenbrand's forces, while in films, Gandalf went to get Éomer's forces instead, so here, the Trio is sent to get Erkenbrand while Gandalf will get Éomer.

For how the Trio ended up in Fangorn Forest at same time as LOTR Trio, in spite of not having horses, they're still superhuman overall, so they managed to catch up eventually.

And hope the book reference with the mystery old guy (presumably Saruman) before Gandalf came in was enjoyed.

Meanwhile, SPN Lucifer has now recruited Leatherface (only 1974 film and 2023 TCM game are canon on Earth-1), and Pennywise/IT from the 1990 film, by time-travelling. And then they also recruited Earth-1 Poison Ivy (played by Kristen Stewart), Klarion (played by Finn Wolfhard), Felix Faust (saved by Lucifer's time-travel), Floronic Man (from Swamp Thing 2019) and the past Ruby Knowby from 'Ash vs. Evil Dead'.

In comics, Woodrue was Pamela's and Alec's teacher, and caused Pamela's transformation, so here, I just had it that Woodrue taught Pamela once before.

But SPN Lucifer with his army have gone off to another world, while the bitch Pollard is dead, LOL!

Lucifer Morningstar returns to Earth, but he and Amenadiel got whooped by SPN Lucifer, even though he's a fake. We'll know the reasons later. At least Morningstar reunites with Maze, then Decker.

Hope the cameos of Spawn torturing Art and the girl, and Pinhead torturing 1976 Margaret White and 2002 Margaret White, were enjoyed. Spawn is from 'Todd McFarlane's Spawn' cartoon. Also, Constantine has adopted teenage Nora Darhk who has Mallus inside her. Imagine Farrah Mackenzie in the role, like in Gussygus28's 'Dark Legends' series, thanks a lot to him.

With Civil War in MCU- Cap, Nat, Clint, Sam and Scott are fugitives again, while Storm has reunited with Spyke, and we meet Earth-199999 Morlocks, who're inspired by 'Evolution', since 'The Last Stand' had Callisto but she was Callisto in name only. The kid is a younger version of Façade from 'X-Men: Evolution'.

While Tony and Rhodey have seemingly gone cuckoo, and MCU Banner ended up going through a breach. The guy with him in the pic T'Challa saw was Rick Jones (played by Jack Quaid).

In EMH, Adam Warlock has crashed to Earth, and we find out Phoenix Force is returning, while EMH Banner has been sent somewhere too, by Taskmaster.

Hope the return of W&tX Scarlet Witch and Polaris was enjoyed, and Magneto is up to something.

Yes, Barry will go to learn to get faster from Thawne in 2x17, but I won't cover the episode as it'd be just like canon. However, the 'Supergirl' crossover is coming!

Thanks a lot to Brainstorm Sorcerer and gussygus28 again.

Hope all enjoyed and see you all next time with another chapter, which will come in April only, not before.
