After Sir Swoop went to his first match, Mario went to schedule another fight.

"Welcome to the automated match-reservation system. What is your command?"

Mario had selected 'Reserve a Match'. Mr. Grubba had appeared on the screen.

He told them, "Well, dog my cats! If it ain't the great Red Comet! Fixin' for a fight, huh?"

Mario confirmed, "Yes we are."

Mr. Grubba chuckled, "Hoo-wee! Yer gonna love this! Yer next opponent is... Ranked 10 in the Glitz Pit... The Armored Harriers! That's right! Yer darn tootin'! Yer finally gonna make a go at the major league, son! We're expectin' great things from you, so don't you go a-lettin' us down, now! Now listen: in this battle, this is a challenge you've had before, I want you to avoid usin' yer hammer! Not even once, son. I wanna see how you do when you ain't got somethin' to beat a fella with. Now get in there an' let's see some acrobatifyin'!"

Mario confirmed, "Yes sir! This time it will be Green Thunder and I."

Mr. Grubba nodded as he turned off the screen. Violet gave Luigi a kiss on the cheek.

Violet whispered, "Good luck, Weegie."

Luigi whispered back, "Thanks Vi."

That's when security came in and escorted Mario and Luigi to their battle.

Mr. Grubba announced, "And now...today's main event! The main league awaits the 11th-ranked Red Comet and Green Thunder! But only if they can beat the 10th-ranked powerhouses... The Iron Adonis Twins! First, let's get the Merciless Executioners in here, folks! The Red Comet and the Green Thunder!" That's when Mario and Luigi came in. The whole crowd was cheering very loudly for them both. They both waved to the crowd. Mr. Grubba came over to them, "Hoo-wee! Red Comet! Green thunder! How're you two feelin'?"

Luigi answered, "We are ready to fight! Right, Malleo?"

Mario agreed, "Sure are, Weegie!"

Mr. Grubba replied, "Sounds like you two are ready to fight! They are obviously itchin' to mix it some!" The other door opened as The Iron Adonis Twins came in next. They got onto the stage. He told them, "Hyuck, your challengers are real confident, boys! Yep, they are talkin' trash. 'Iron Adonis Twins?' They said. 'More like Paper Dog-Face Bros.! ...and they stink!' And then they said, 'I bet they just play video games an' cry when they lose!' Um, yeah, then they said, 'Outie belly buttons run in their family! Stinkwads!' And so on. Yep."

One of the Iron Adonis Twins (Red) said, "What?! How do they know that Mom has an outie! Those jerks! We're gonna blend you two up into a smoothie! And then we're gonna drink ya both! Oh and one more thing... Only smell stinkwads call other people stickwads! Understand, stickwads?"

The other twin (Green) added, "Simmer down there, Bro. You two! Stickwads! You both are going to regret opening your yaps, pal! See these bods? Solid iron. See these spikes? Yeah, they penetrate any substance. So, basically, what I'm telling you is that whatever you two try will be completely useless. Think that over in the very short time you two have left with functional brains."

Mr. Grubba commented, "Let's get yerselves ready to...battle!"

The gong went off as the fight begun.

Luigi pointed out, activating his Thunderhand, "W - 2e're going to have to rethink our strategy if we can't use our hammers."

Mario replied, activating his Firebrand, "Don't worry, we got this bro."

Red demanded, "Blah blah blah! Give up now!"

Green added, "Well, stinkwads, you're about to learn about our skills the hard way."

But no matter what either of brothers did, none of their attacks worked. They had no choice to throw a white flag.

After getting one coin from Jolene, Mario saw that their egg had hatched.

"Yo! Comet!" The Yoshi said.

Mario turned to Goombella, "The egg hatched?"

Goombella confirmed, "Yeah, while you two were trying to fight the Iron Adonis Twins."

The Yoshi added, "Check me out! Thanks to you, I hatched safe and sound! Thank you."

Koops commented, "Eh, we just did the right thing."

Violet told the brothers, "Get this, he said he had an idea to help us!"

The Yoshi confirmed, "Yes, Icy Punch is right! You want a Crystal Star, right?"

Luigi said, "Yes, we do."

The Yoshi explained, "I heard all about it while I was in the egg! Yeah! Anyway, I want to fight for you! I can hold my own! I'll swallow any opponent whole, honest! Just leave it to me!"

Mario realized, "Wait, can you swallow an Iron Cleft whole?"

The Yoshi replied, "Yes!"

Luigi asked, "What's your name?"

Flurrie shook her head and answered, "He doesn't have a name yet."

To that, Luigi nodded.

Mario offered, "Blaze then?"

Blaze confirmed, "That sounds like an awesome name!"

Luigi turned to Mario, "You will make a fine dad some day, fratello."

Mario complimented, "Gratzi and you will too."

Blaze replied, "Okay, Comet... Let's get out there and do some damage!"

...

After a bit, Mario and Luigi decided to take on the Iron Adonis Twins. This time, they took Blaze with them. The fight had restarted again.

Blaze commented, "Comet! Thunder! Lemme at 'em! We're gonna take these punks this time!"

Red chuckled, "Stickwad's challenging us again. They never learn!"

Green agreed, "Looks like they brought some new, shrimpy partner...as if that's gonna help them!"

Mario turned to Blaze and asked. "Ready?"

Blaze nodded, getting in front of the brothers.

Luigi added, "Aim..."

Blaze brought out his tongue. gulping down Red.

Both of the Manfredi brothers said in unison, "Fire!"

Blaze fired Red right at Green, catching them both of guard and hitting them both.

Red complained, "YEOWCH! You spiked me right in the... THAT REALLY HURT! Our iron bodies and pointy nastiness are being used against us! No fair!"

Green whimpered, "Oh, dang, bro! Have they discovered our weak points?"

Blaze had did that one more time, taking the Iron Clefts out for good this time.

Mr. Grubba announced, "Congratulations! Red Comet, Green Thunder, and their newest addition - Blaze! With this win, you made the major league!"

Mario and Luigi hugged Blaze as they hugged each other. Blaze was embarrassed but he was proud to have helped them.
