Operation Easter Recovery

[The scene opens on a shot of Wolf, Leon, Panther, Buster, Steele, and Pamela gathered in the center of Napier Park, sat on top of a hill under a tree while Angelina and Alice pass by on the pathway, with Dexter and Bloo passing by in the opposite direction]

Wolf: Right, I will officially call this meeting of the Star Wolf alliance to order.

[Buster and Steele glance at each other as the Road Rovers pass by in the background]

Wolf: AHEM, soon the day of Easter will be upon us, and we need to remember the most important aspect of it.

Panther: Jesus?

[Rarity and Applejack pass by in the background]
Wolf: Shut up, Panther. Chocolate. And who brings chocolate on Easter, hmmmmm?

Buster: The Easter Bilby.

[Arthur passes by in the background]

Wolf: Yes, the Easter Bil-what?! No, that's in Australia, this is Anima, you idiot!

Buster: Of course it's the Easter Bunny, I just wanted to set you up.

Pamela: That was a stupid pun anyway.

[Baloo and Bagheera pass by in the background]

Wolf: Just shut up, you two.

[Buster and Pamela glower while Ariel passes by in the background]

Wolf: As if the simplest of people know, the Easter Bunny brings chocolate on Easter in the form of Easter eggs.

Leon: Well, that's the most obvious explanation you could tell grown adults.

Wolf: Oh my god, stop interrupting me! As I was saying, the Easter Bunny usually brings eggs every year. But recently, diplomatic relations between Anima and the Easter Bunny have broken down due to the behavior of one particular individual who's name I shall not mention.

Richard: Hey! No one's paying you to be sitting around chatting all day!

[A visible vein forms on Wolf's forehead]

Wolf: Uh, excuse me for a second…

[Wolf stands up to shout at the rotund rabbit]

Wolf: You don't get paid at all!

Richard: …Yeah…well.

Wolf: Just get lost, fatty! We're talkin' about you, not to you!

Richard: …Fine.

Steele: The hell did he even come from?

[Wolf turns back to the group]

Wolf: Anyways, so this year, there are a few things we have to do to ensure the delivery of Easter eggs once more. Now here's what we're gonna do…

[Wolf whispers the plan to the others while Cinderella and Aurora pass by in the background]

[The scene transitions to night time as Wolf, Leon, and Panther are asleep in their apartment complex as the camera zooms in on Wolf…he opens his eyes and looks out to the window. He then looks over Leon]

Wolf: This is Alpha G to Camouflage, the coast is clear, over?

[Leon slowly opens his eyes and looks over at Wolf]

Leon: Hmmmmm, Camouflage to Alpha G, I read you loud and clear.

Wolf: Copy that, Camouflage, you didn't say over, over?

Leon: [sighs] Over.

Wolf: Alpha G to Red Rose, do you read me, over?

[No response]

Wolf: Red Rose, please respond, over.

Leon: Panther, that's you. Panther?

[The camera pans over to Panther still asleep on the mattress next to Leon]

Wolf: Red Rose, this is Alpha G, please respond, over.

Leon: I don't think he's responding, Alpha G, over…

Wolf: …Panther, you useless idiot, wake up!

[Panther's eyes flash open as he whacks Wolf in the face with his tail]

Panther: You know I don't appreciate being woken up like that.

Wolf: Uuugh…just shut up and follow my lead, over.

[The three mercenaries eventually leave the room as the scene transitions to Buster, Steele, and Pamela waiting under a streetlight while the street signs point to "Foray Drive" and "Bennett Lane" as Wolf, Leon, and Panther arrive in front of them]

Steele: What kept you bozos up, over?

Wolf: There was a…slight issue with communication, over.

Buster: Sounds about right with them.

Wolf: AHEM, roll call, shall we? Camouflage, over?

Leon: [flatly] …Here.

Wolf: Red Rose, over?

Panther: Present as night, over.

Wolf: Rusty Road, over?

Buster: Here.

Wolf: Gloryhound, over?

Steele: [huffily] …Here.

Wolf: And Sunset Boulevard, over?

Pamela: Here, over.

Wolf: Excellent. Time to get to work. Divide into your teams and we'll meet back here at midnight. Operation Easter Recovery begins now, over and out.

[The camera pans away from the group as the scene transitions to the shadows of Wolf, Leon, and Panther walking through a desolate neighborhood]

[We are then shown a shot of their boots in order; Wolf, Leon, Panther]

[Transition to a shot of a cream painted house noticeably isolated from the rest. Wolf is the first to go behind on the side. Leon follows on and blends in with the background. Panther dives into a bush and his eyes can be seen flickering through the leaves]

Wolf: Right…time to eliminate Target Fatty.

[We cut to the inside of the house where the refrigerator is seen being opened, followed by a pink furred hand with large sausage fingers picking out a string of sausages]

Richard: Aaaaah…nothing like a midnight snack to-

[There is a knock heard at the door]

Richard: Aaaaaagh, now who would be out at this hour?

[The pink furred bunny man goes over to the door, still holding the string of sausages in his hands]

Richard: What do you want, I was just about to gorge these lovely sausages into my-

[The window suddenly shatters as a gas package suddenly bursts, filling the room with noxious fumes that causes Richard to pass out in a rather comical pose, the sausages strung over his chest…because this man does not tie his robe, thus we have to be exposed to his open moobs]

[The scene transitions to the shadows of Buster, Steele, and Pamela before cutting to a shot of their respective shows walking along the path]

[We transition to them stopping in what appears to be an open field]

Buster: …Where is dis thing then, over?

Steele: Wolf's not here, ya' don't have to say over, over.

[Buster and Pamela give Steele an odd look]

Steele: …Shut up. Let's just find this stupid thing, shall we?

[Pamela narrows her eyes and surveys the area]

Pamela: I think I found it!

Steele: Good, who's carrying it then?

Buster: I believe that's your job, man.

Steele: Excuse me, why am I the one tasked with labor?

Buster: Isn't your whole thing about showing how fast and strong you are? Sounds like an opportunity for you.

Pamela: Plus, it'll take off some of that water weight that's been building up.

Steele: You both suck, I hope you know that.

Pamela: I know, but I really don't care.

Buster: [whispers] If it's anything consolation, I'll owe you one for next time.

Steele: [flatly] …Thanks.

[The scene transitions to Wolf, Leon, and Panther back at the streetlight as Buster and Pamela return, followed by Steele carrying a large thick carrot in his hands before he props it against the wall of a shop]

Wolf: Ah, good work, you got it then, over? This'll secure our bounty, over.

Buster: For sure, did ya' take care a' fatty, ova'?

Panther: Ah yes, Target Fatty has been eliminated, compadres, over.

Leon: So what now, over?

Wolf: Now…we wait, over.

Leon: Riiiight…hope you didn't plan on us staying out in the streets all night, over.

Wolf: Of course not, we'll settle back at our place and reconvene in the morning, over.

[The scene transitions to the carrot having been placed at the bottom of the apartment before transitioning to the interior of the complex where Wolf, Leon, and Panther are sharing the mattress]

[In the living room, Buster, Steele, and Pamela are either sleeping on the couch or on the pull-out mattress]

[The scene transitions to morning as a rooster crows. It cuts to the six members filing out of the apartment. Wolf looks over to the right]

Wolf: Hah! The cottontail took it!

Pamela: You didn't say over, over.

Wolf: Shut up, Pamela! It doesn't matter anymore, all that matters is that we did it!

Buster: Yeeeeeah, so where are the eggs then?

Wolf: Well, uh, surely they've got to be around here somewhere.

[The camera pans out to show the landscape, not a single colorful egg can be seen in the streets]

Panther: …I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I don't think there's any eggs, or chocolates for that matter.

Wolf: [angrily] That cheap ass rabbit ate the carrot and didn't leave shit for us! What a rip-off!

[Leon goes over across the street to take a further look]

Leon: Wolf! Get your ass over here and take a look at this!

[Wolf pulls up alongside Leon and we are shown a view of Napier Park, bright and colorful chocolate eggs are shown scattered around the area, behind trees, bushes, the fountain, the kiosk, the popcorn machine, and by the stone bridge, along with an assortment of chocolate rabbits, jelly beans, and other candies]

Wolf: …Well, color me shook, we actually did pull it off!

[The scene transitions to the other citizens of Toon City engaging in the egg hunt, such as Top Cat and Benny, Pepe and Loopy, Blitz and Exile, Yogi and Boo-Boo, Lady, Jenna, and Krystal, Tramp and Balto, Snow White and Ariel, Ed, Edd, and Eddy, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, the Heeler Family, the Berenstain Family, the Mystery Inc Gang, so on and so forth]

[Fox approaches Wolf holding a purple egg in his hand]

Fox: I don't know why, but something tells me you were involved with this.

Wolf: Who's to say I wasn't? I'm full of surprises, ya' know.

Fox: In that case, perhaps I should start calling you the Easter Wolf.

Wolf: Hehehe, don't even think about it.

Fox: We'll see…

[Transition to Richard having been tied up on several planks]

Richard: Wha-wuh! What's going on?! Easter eggs? Where's my Easter eggs?! All that chocolate! I want some! Somebody untie me! Please! I need those eggs! NO! NAAAAAAAAAAAAA-

[The camera cuts to a shot of a lone rabbit standing on a hill watching over the scene, a basket of eggs in his hand and a PC stitched on his overalls. He turns to the audience and winks]

Peter Cottontail: Well, that's it, happy Easter, folks

[The scene closes in on his face before Richard can go on another long ass yelling spree for no reason]
