Aisles of Mayhem:
One day, up in the sky...
Wonder Woman is flying her United States fighter jet in the sky. She is in her battle wear. Her co-pilot is Picture Claire.
Picture Claire somewhat nervously points out, "Amanda Waller doesn't usually ask for you to meet her in person. Are you sure you want to go to the Cadmus base, Diana?"
Wonder Woman admits, "I'm not sure I do, Claire. If she's figured out Diana Prince is my secret identity... Moderate sigh. It could be a trap. It's why you're keeping a eye on me while I'm there. If she tries to capture me? Call both Amazon nations, Superman, and Batman for backup."
With a slight smile... Picture Claire reasons, "that's assuring. You have thought of everything."
Wonder Woman is in the midst of saying, "I sure hope...so."
She has just gotten a call on her portable magic mirror.
Wonder Woman says, "excuse me Claire. I got to take this."
She heads to the back of her U.S. fighter jet to answer the call on her portable magic mirror.
Wonder Woman asks in concern, "Doris? I... I'm hearing a lot of trumpeting and gorilla noises. What's wrong?"
In a cutaway... Doris is seen in the waterfall pyramid on Themiscrya with most of her animals.
Her elephants are stampeding away from the others in circles of frustrating trumpets. Doris has been trying to calm them down with snorts and trumpets.
Doris solemnly explains, "it's not your fault Diana. Hard sniffle. With the recent loss of Ozzie? We both thought your old room on Themiscrya and the waterfall pyramid dimension would be a good place for me and my animals to stay. But... My animals are starting to really miss the sunlight and walking on land. Hard sniffle. After you finish your business with Cadmus today? We have to find a better home. Please."
Wonder Woman makes a nervous face.
She tries to assures, "okay. I'll be back soon to help you and your animals. I don't understand how Ozzie could be lost and not found on a island of paradise. But... I believe you, Doris."
Doris bittersweetly concludes, "thank you Diana. I... I'll explain when you get back. It means a lot to me you believe me." Wonder Woman adds, "you're welcome."
Doris brings up, "I tried to ask Circe for help. But, me and Aphrodite couldn't find her. I don't know what I'll do if I can't take care of my animals! !"
Wonder Woman reasons, "Doris... Moderate sigh. I'm not going to disappear on you. If things get too tense out there? You can use my magic mirror in my old room to come get me. Okay?"
Doris figures, "that sounds good to me Diana. Thank you for assuring me."
Wonder Woman figures, "you're welcome. Now... Are you sure you and your animals are going to be okay until I get back?"
Lighter trumpeting, light growls, and gorilla sounds are heard.
Doris kind of lightly answers, "yeah. We'll listen to some rock music, watch a few animal documentaries, and a bad science fiction movie called Ultraviolet. That will keep me and my animal friends happy for a while."
With a slight smile... Wonder Woman just says, "okay. Good enough."
Not long after, in a classified location...
Wonder Woman as Diana Prince is walking down a hall of dark red lit walls. She is wearing her United States fighter uniform. Cadmus security agents in dark blue uniforms just stay on patrol from hall to hall. Wonder Woman's United States fighter jet is in a mostly dark blue hangar.
Diana Prince enters a warehouse styled mostly brown meeting room. There's a brown round table. Silver doors automatically close behind Diana Prince.
She looks surprised to see Nightshade standing there.
Nightshade very much implies, "we need to talk. Etta Ranch assured me she'll keep Amanda Waller occupied long enough for us to not be monitored."
Diana Prince firmly nods. She figures, "okay. This must be important. Please go ahead."
Nightshade explains, "I'm retiring from Cadmus. When Doctor Cyber was trying to wipe out all gods and god followers... I was spying on Themiscrya as a reserve agent for Cadmus. I... I thought me as backup against Doctor Cyber would be enough assurance for Amanda Waller not to make a big move against you. But... Moderate sigh. I was wrong. She used the intelligence gathered from me and her influence with the C.I.A. to replace Etta Ranch's position as a U.S. representative for the United States with a Cadmus operative more quick to follow Amanda Waller's orders. She also promoted someone who has no business being a new Cadmus agent."
Diana Prince concludes, "it's not your fault, Eve. It sounds like she would have gotten that intelligence report with or without you."
Nightshade somewhat bitterly reflects, "without Doctor Cyber noticing? I doubt that Diana. If there's one thing I know from my time leading a resistance in Tartarus... There are memories, however hard to hold on to, that map out who we are. There are plenty of good memories among the terrible ones: Even for my people the Mannishade. And, honestly girlie... Faint laugh. I'd much rather walk with Wonder Woman's shadow than try to bottle it up for Cadmus."
She points toward Diana Prince on the last part.
They both smile knowingly to each other.
Nightshade suggests, "why don't you leave Cadmus too? You're Wonder Woman's friend too."
Diana Prince remarks, "well Eve, you know the old saying. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. The only reason I've been a agent for Cadmus is for Wonder Woman to stay a step ahead of Amanda Waller."
They start to hear footsteps. They both make somewhat nervous faces.
Nightshade points out, "well... Let's hope both of you continue to be a step ahead. If Wonder Woman needs me? I'll be back home in the only light corner of Tartarus with my people."
Diana Prince whispers, "I'll give her the message."
With Amanda Waller coming into the meeting room? Nightshade fast walks away.
And... Mike Schorr is in the room now too: Wearing a dark blue Cadmus uniform.
He, Amanda Waller, and Diana Prince sit down at the table.
Amanda Waller deduces, "thank you for coming Diana Prince. There is a very powerful DNA vial codenamed Crimson C. The Red Shadows is trying to sneak it out of California. Mike Schorr is going to work with you on this mission."
Mike Schorr scowls. He crosses his arms.
He mutters angrily, "I can take a few shadows myself. I don't need a weak secretary like her getting in my way! !"
With a glare... Diana Prince coldly asks, "what did you just call me?!"
Amanda Waller calls out, "Mike Schorr, that's enough! I'm in charge of Cadmus, and you will follow my orders. Or, you go right back to being a police officer! Is that clear?"
Mike Schorr gulps nervously on the last part. Diana smirks.
Amanda Waller figures, "thank you. Diana... With your strong success rate for missions and your connection to Wonder Woman... I want you to bring in Wonder Woman for questioning. Maybe she knows something about this DNA vial that we don't...among other things. But, the rest is not your concern Diana Prince."
And... Diana Prince is thinking to herself, "keeping my friends close and my enemies closer? Moderate sigh. Me and my big mouth. Now I got to really go into this mission as Diana Prince in person, or she will find out I'm really Wonder Woman!"
A mortal hour later, by a supermarket in California...
Superman and Batman are exchanging fists with three Russian agents with super speed. These three Russian agents call themselves the Blue Trinity.
All five of them are in the parking lot. It's sunny and kind of windy outside. All members of the Blue Trinity are wearing blue and white jumpsuits and matching helmets with glass visors.
One of the Blue Trinity members says, "give it up. Your battlesuits can't protect you from defeat from motherland Russia."
He speed punches Batman several times. Big dents are in Batman's battlesuit.
Superman remarks, "good mothers don't send their children to steal DNA samples of a god creation of Ares's."
Two of the Blue Trinity members laugh.
Batman kind of lightly adds, "oh, I'm just starting to fight."
He fires a hypersonic pulse from his battlesuit. The Blue Trinity is crying out in mental overload.
Just as fast... The hypersonic pulse stops.
The Blue Trinity is about to angrily charge for Superman and Batman.
But... Just then... Superman and Batman punch them hard by surprise.
All the members of The Blue Trinity fall unconscious.
Batman starts to state, "hmm. This seems too..." Superman adds, "too easy?"
Batman realizes, "yeah. They already handed over the DNA vial to the Red Shadows. And, we still have no clue who or where they stole it from."
With the scanners in their battlesuits... They both see a figure in a red cloak in the supermarket.
He is fast walking toward the back of the supermarket. He is carrying a DNA vial.
Superman and Batman break into a run.
Over both of their comlinks... Diana Prince reports, "I've just arrived on my fighter jet. Mike is arriving on his fighter jet. Remember: We have to make it look like I'm trying to stop Batman."
Batman kind of sarcastically says, "right. Like you really could stop me."
Diana, Batman, and Superman chuckle a little at that.
Plenty of people are shopping for groceries, kitchenware, and more. Mike Schorr, Diana Prince, and two more members of the Red Shadows are fast walking toward the DNA vial.
Diana Prince blatantly lies, "damn! No Wonder Woman. Batman and Superman must have tipped her off."
She and Mike Schorr draw out spirit energy blades. Diana Prince's spirit energy blade is glowing light purple. Mike Schorr's spirit energy blade is glowing jet black.
With a mischievous smirk... Diana Prince suggests to Mike Schorr, "you think you can do better than me? Get the DNA vial. I'll go after Batman and take him in."
Mike Schorr all too lightly goes, "finally! I got this Diana. Prepare to lose."
Diana Prince scoffs at that.
Batman says, "you think you, a Cadmus agent, can take me in by yourself? Let's find out."
He draws out his spirit energy blade. It's glowing blue.
Diana Prince and Batman charge at each other with spirit energy blades.
Superman fly punches two Red Shadows down by surprise. They fall unconscious.
Mike Schorr draws out a very dark blue light gun pointer.
Just as fast... He fires laser fast fire right in the line of vision of the remaining Red Shadow.
The remaining Red Shadow is nearly blinded by the maneuver.
He groans hard. He's clutching his head with his four cybernetic arms.
Superman says, "I'll take that, thank you."
He takes the DNA vial out of the Red Shadow's hand with ease.
Batman hard kicks Diana Prince into a aisle of watermelons.
She groans hard. She's covered in pieces of crushed watermelon and watermelon juice.
People are starting to nervously run out of the supermarket.
Diana Prince acts like she's frustrated.
She pretend rants, "right. "I'll just take in Batman. That will show Amanda Waller I can take on Wonder Woman if it came to it." What was I...thinking?"
Suddenly... Hypersonic pulses start to fire from the cybernetic arms of the third Red Shadow.
Superman starts to punch his way through the cybernetic arms.
But... One of the cybernetic arms links electronically with Superman's battlesuit from behind.
Batman, Superman, and most everyone else cries out in mental overload from hypersonic pulses.
Superman manages to punch the Red Shadow hard.
But... All it does is smash a android head: For a robot copy of a Red Shadow.
The hypersonic pulses continue for a few seconds. Most everyone else is falling unconscious.
With Wonder Woman's battle wear under her watermelon stained Cadmus clothes? Diana Prince tears off her Cadmus clothes to try to quickly go into action as Wonder Woman.
But... She falls unconscious too.
Gorilla Grodd and his new line of Gorilla Knights are walking into the supermarket.
With a dark grin... Gorilla Grodd suggests, "good. My decoy robot and decoy DNA vial worked perfectly. A mostly empty DNA vial can fool even the most sophisticated scanners. My Gorilla Knights... When Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman wake up? They will witness the beginning of a new era: Where gorillas rule the world."
His Gorilla Knights darkly cheer and clap.
Ten mortal minutes later...
Superman and Batman wake up. They're pinned down by supercharged electromagnet tables.
Wonder Woman wakes up. She finds herself, Superman, and Batman in the frozen food aisle.
Gorilla Grodd and his Gorilla Knights are standing near with very dark red spirit energy blades.
All too lightly... Gorilla Grodd figures, "I'm glad you three "heroes" can witness the beginning of mankind's fall. With my advanced technology? I gathered DNA samples from the ocean floor of a long lost Amazon foe called the Crimson Centipede. I cloned the samples hundreds of times. By the time Cadmus figure out this supermarket isn't closed for repairs? It'll be too late to stop me. And... Wonder Woman? Laugh. Revenge has for me never before felt as shiny as gold."
And... Thirteen crimson red and green mutant centipedes with hairy claw like legs and human like hair start crawling up Wonder Woman's legs.
Wonder Woman tries to swat some away. She uses her golden lasso to try to hurl some away.
But... The tiny mutant centipedes dodge her attempts with ease.
Wonder Woman mutters under her breath, "damn."
With a dark grin... Gorilla Grodd coldly deduces, "my shrink ray and the DNA of the Crimson Centipede have turned humans into a new army under my control. They're too fast and too tiny for you to reach. Enough strikes from their stingers will destroy you. And... Without your golden lasso to help? They can't break free of my mind control. Goodbye Wonder Woman."
Superman and Batman struggle to break free of the electromagnetic tables.
At the same time... Superman and Batman cry out, "Diana! ! !"
Wonder Woman gulps nervously. The human-centipede hybrids are about to slash their stingers.
But... Just then... Laser fast fire from the ceiling rains debris down on top of Gorilla Grodd.
Gorilla Grodd groans hard. He's clutching his head.
The tiny human-centipede hybrids stand still in reaction to this.
Wonder Woman quickly slides open a freezer door.
The cold breeze from the open door freezes the tiny human-centipede hybrids in ice. They slide to the floor. The floor's warmer temperature is slowly but surely melting the ice around them.
Despite quite some cold shivers... Wonder Woman closes the freezer door.
Nnamdi and his Gorilla Knights are climbing down from the hole in the ceiling. They angrily charge for Gorilla Grodd and his Gorilla Knights.
Nnamdi and his Gorilla Knights are slashing light blue spirit energy blades at the Gorilla Knights loyal to Gorilla Grodd. They're slashing back at them with spirit energy blades.
Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman smile in relief.
Wonder Woman's U.S. fighter jet is hovering over the hole in the ceiling. Picture Claire has recently fired laser fast fire from Wonder Woman's U.S. fighter jet to make the hole.
Over the supermarket's loudspeakers... Picture Claire explains, "Doris wanted to come help you. But... I wanted to be sure we could stop Gorilla Grodd's masterplan. I also have mystically looked through security cameras to find out where you and your superhero friends were being captured. And... I saw Mike Schorr running for cover from the hypersonic pulses in a back part of the supermarket. I told Doris she could stop him from delivering a DNA vial to a Cadmus agent. I used your magic mirror back on Themiscyra to help Doris go after him. I called for Circe's help. She sent a cavalry. I hope I didn't leave you, Batman, and Superman in the cold."
On the last part? Superman and Batman chuckle.
Wonder Woman hurls her tiara into then exploding parts of the electromagnetic tables. Superman and Batman break free from the shut down electromagnetic tables.
Wonder Woman catches her circling back tiara. She puts it back on her head.
Wonder Woman assures, "no: You didn't. You helped save us and the world, Claire."
Picture Claire lightly adds, "good. I'm happy I wasn't too late to help."
Meanwhile... Gorilla Grodd angrily charges for Wonder Woman with a full DNA vial.
Batman quickly fires a bat grappling hook from his battlesuit to pull the DNA vial away. It smashes harmlessly on the floor in a puddle of crimson DNA goop.
At the same time... Superman punches Gorilla Grodd hard.
Gorilla Grodd falls unconscious.
Batman somewhat shakily reflects, "this is one gorilla I don't mind being sent to a Cadmus cell."
Wonder Woman and Superman agree.
By then... Nnamdi and his Gorilla Knights have taken down Gorilla Grodd's Gorilla Knights.
With a wide smile... Nnamdi realizes, "Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman... You have taken down Gorilla Grodd. You have cleared the path for me and my Gorilla Knights to bring peace back to Gorilla City. How can we ever thank you?"
Batman somewhat lightly insists the freedom of their people is thanks enough. Superman, Nnamdi, and most of Nnamdi's Gorilla Knights agree.
Wonder Woman is in the midst of telling Namdi, "you're welcome Nnamdi. But, it was my good friend Claire that did most of the...rescuing."
Suddenly... She sees herself in the parking lot of the supermarket.
Aphrodite and Circe are standing there teary eyed. They're in goddess time.
And... They all see a silhouette of a giant centipede like monster standing by a giant explosion.
Wonder Woman nervously asks, "Circe, Aphrodite... What in Hades is going on?"
Aphrodite starts to explain, "either one of us can take you back in time to save Doris. But..."
Wonder Woman warily asks, "wait. It isn't that simple to save her?"
Circe tries to assure, "Wonder Woman... Hard sniffle. Me and Aphrodite not meant for anything bad to happen to Doris. Please believe us."
Aphrodite confesses, "she's our friend. We...had no idea Nnamdi's Gorilla Knights could be so restless. Hard sniffle. They seemed okay waiting over a month to battle Gorilla Grodd again."
Getting teary eyed... Wonder Woman bittersweetly concludes, "I... I have a strong feeling that this is why Ozzie was lost. Heavy sigh. I know you both mean well, and I'll forgive you both. Just... Please tell me what's happened."
Aphrodite and Circe bittersweetly smile a little. Circe kind of slowly nods.
A set of flashes go by: Of infant gorilla Joey accidentally throwing a ball into a Gorilla Knight while playing ball with Ozzie, of Ozzie trying to calm the Gorilla Knight down, of the Gorilla Knight trying to go after Joey by throwing Ozzie off of a certain paradise island, of Ozzie crash landing into the Elysian Fields before anyone could catch him...and of a teary eyed Doris and the rest of her gorilla family walking away from a mystically completely amnesiac Ozzie.
Another set of flashes go by: Of a giant sized Doris in anger about to destroy Nnamdi and his Gorilla Knights with her fists, of Circe using her goddess powers to secretly send Nnamdi and his Gorilla Knights to Pluto to save them, of Mike Schorr spraying Doris by surprise with a DNA vial in the midst of fighting her...and of a silhouette of a giant centipede like monster.
Wonder Woman asks Aphrodite to restore the humans that Gorilla Grodd mutated. She agrees.
Back to a point not long ago in mortal time, at a Florida U.S. fighter base...
Circe drops Wonder Woman off on a runway for U.S. fighter jets. Circe vanishes from sight.
Mike Schorr keeps charging at Doris with his spirit energy blade and his fists. Doris keeps dodging him while charging at him with fists and jump kicks.
Suddenly... Mike Schorr stuns Doris with the handle of his spirit energy blade.
Doris groans hard. She is clutching her head.
With a dark grin... Mike Schorr taunts, "without your circus life... Laugh! You're just a animal in a cage, Doris Zuel. A animal worth more mind controlled than destroyed."
He's about to spray Doris with a full DNA vial.
But... Just then... Wonder Woman knocks Doris out of the way.
Wonder Woman breathes a sigh of great relief.
But... In that mortal second... Mike Schorr slashes Wonder Woman with his spirit energy blade.
She groans hard. She is clutching her side.
Getting teary eyed... Doris angrily cries out, "you piece of ****! ! Get...away from Diana! ! !"
She, as Giganta, has grown as big as a skyscraper.
And... She hurls a screaming Mike Schorr and his U.S. fighter jet hard from her giant hands.
Mike Schorr and his U.S. fighter jet crash land into a city block several miles away. The U.S. fighter jet explodes by him in a gust of flame and smoke.
Burning cars and trucks are all over the city block. People are running screaming away from the fires. At least twenty people are unconscious.
U.S. fighter tanks are coming. Fire trucks, ambulances, and police cars are coming with sirens whirling.
Giganta walks over to the city block. She checks over the wreckage of the fighter jet in her giant hand.
Giganta twistedly deduces, "he's down. Good. Now... Cadmus? Cadmus? Come out and play. I know more of your agents are out here."
U.S. fighters and police officers call out, "holy ****! Prepare to fire! ! Put your hands up! ! Put the fighter jet down now! !"
With mixed feelings... Giganta declares, "U.S. fighters, Cadmus, police officers... You're always quick to fire at animals or anyone else that gets in your way! ! Hard sniffle. Well... Laugh. I'm the bigger force now. Destruction against your destruction. It's only fitting."
She's about to literally wipe the floor with the U.S. fighter tanks.
Suddenly... Wonder Woman calls out, "Doris! ! Please don't do this. There is no other Cadmus agent here! !"
Giganta steps back and out of the city block. She sees Wonder Woman standing on top of a ambulance. The U.S. fighters and police officers look stunned.
Giganta asks Wonder Woman, "what difference does it make? You heard my say."
Wonder Woman highlights, "Doris... I know what you're going through. Hard sniffle. Losing a friend always hits hard, and you'll do anything to not have it happen again. But... If you go through with destroying these officers... Hard sniffle. You'll also destroy innocent people. You don't really want to do that... Do you?"
Giganta looks wide eyed in shock. She only now notices twenty people being carried on stretchers into ambulances.
Some tears fall from Giganta's face. She is shrinking down to normal size.
Giganta somberly realizes, "you're right. I... Hard sniffle. I'll walk away today. I hope to still be your friend, Diana. But... Hard sniffle. Unless you can prove me wrong? I won't stop my fight against destruction."
She vanishes with Circe before Wonder Woman or anyone else can find her.
And... Wonder Woman solemnly thinks to herself, "I hope to still be your friend too, Doris: Even though I know it's gotten more complicated."
In the clouds...
A set of flashes with silhouettes fly by: Of Gorilla Grodd angrily pounding at the bars of his Cadmus cell with no humans or gorillas around, of restored mortals driving away from a certain supermarket like nothing happened, of gorillas cheering around scattered pieces of flying cages, of Nnamdi sitting on the throne of Gorilla City...and of Doris and her remaining animal friends beginning to slowly but surely relax by a lake in their new jungle home within Lapith Kingdom.
