AN: Sorry for the long wait. Christmas and new year's are coming so i probably won't be updating that much at least until the new year at least. But until then just enjoy whatever i can give, hope it helps brightens your day.

Inside of Natsu's mind...

"It's so good to see you again". Igor welcomed Natsu as he once again wakes up to find himself in the Velvet Room of his own image. "You've lost consciousness after awakening to your 'Power'".

Natsu blink his eyes a couple of times before noticing where he is. "This place again...". He said looking around the arena that still looked the same as he imagine the first time he's here. "So I'm guessing this isn't a dream since this is the second time I'm here. But what happened?".

"You were helping your friend fights off against the Shadow that threatens the safety of you and ever else around". Mavis explain bluntly but also tried to sound gentle about it. "By doing so your resolved awakens your Persona. The Dragon Warrior, Ryu".

"Ryu?". Natsu asked confusingly. He remembers what happened to him before he lost consciousness. But he has no idea what the heck even happened to him.

"Oh...I see It was the dragon Ryu who heeded your call. Very interesting". Igor compliment Natsu for his awaken to his Persona. "That was the power of Persona, the manifestation of your psyche".

"Persona?, my psyche?". Natsu eyes narrows down to confusion as he has no clue what that means. "I don't get it".

"A Persona is a facet of your personality that surfaces as your reacted to external stimuli". Igor explained in ways Natsu could understand. "You can think of it as a mask that protects you as you brave many hardships".

"So it's kind of like another side of myself I didn't even know i had?". Natsu points out the obvious before looking rather... Impressed. "Interesting".

Igor nodded in agreement before continue to spoke. "The power of a Persona Is the power of one's soul, and the soul is fueled by the depth of one's bond". He says wisely. "As you form these bonds by becoming involved with others, your own Social Links will gradually develop".

"My what?". Natsu scoff before looking away. "Thanks but I'm fine with just being me and Happy like it's always been, I don't see any needs to improve my social link or whatever you meant".

"You may think so at first, but the strength of these Social Links will foster the growth of your Peronsa's abilities". Igor said with a serious tone that sets Natsu off. "You my boy. Are able to posses multiple Persona's and summons them at your own free will. Please remember this".

But Natsu decided not to ask anymore question or even tries to argue with him since he knows he won't get the answers he needed anyway. "Fine". He just said without having to say anything else.

"Now then, time marches on your world". Igor stated that time flows differently here than in the real world. "I shouldn't keep you here any longer, next time we meet. You will come here of your own accord".

"Huh?". Natsu looks confused when he heard that. "What are you-".

But Igor just interrupted as Natsu's eyes were growing heavier. "Now then, farewell". He says his goodbye for now with Mavis smiling at him.

"We'll see you later Natsu". Mavis said her farewell as well before Natsu returns to the real world.

'My head is getting clearer'. Natsu thought in his head as he feel himself slowly regaining conscious. 'That's weird...I can smell someone's besides me. Happy?'.

Not a moment too soon Natsu managed to open both of his eyes and realize he was in some sort of room laying on a bed that looked appears to be a hospital bed.

As for his sense of smell earlier he was spot on because besides him were Happy and Lisanna looking rather shocked and surprised but also happy and relief to see him awake at last.

"You're awake!". Lisanna gasp in surprise yet sounds relief.

"Natsu!". Happy cried in tears of relief as he flew up to his face and hugged him like he thought he had lost him. "I was so scared you weren't going to wake up, you've been asleep for almost a week!".

"Gah!, Happy!". Natsu groaned tiredly as he just woken up before realizing what he just heard. "Wait...A week!?, I've been out that long?".

Happy just nodded while continue to cried to release all the worry he's been feeling. "Like i said I was so scared you weren't going to wake up". He whines as his eyes were soaked in tears. "Don't ever do that again okay?".

Lisanna just smiled before feeling a little awkward for some reason. "Uh, how do you feel?". She asked.

Natsu shrugs while patting Happy's head to reassure he's alright. "Okay i think". He answered before looking around. "Where am i?".

"Thank goodness you finally woke up. Happy here wouldn't stop worrying about you". Lisanna said honestly as Happy finally stopped crying. "Oh this is Tatsumi Memorial Hospital, it's just a short walk from the station".

"The doctor couldn't find anything wrong". Happy explained what happened. "They just said you were exhausted".

Natsu then remembers exactly what happened but decided to ask about it later since he just regain consciousness. "Oh...Yeah". Was all he said before staying silence. "I remember what happened".

No one said a word for at least one minute before Lisanna decides to break the awkward silence. "Hey um... I'm sorry I wasn't so helpful at all back there". She sadly apologize before looking away for a moment to ashamed to face him.

"Huh?". Natsu looked confused to what she meant by that.

"But wow. That power of yours was really something Natsu!". Happy says like he's excited before jumping up and down like a little kid. "I mean it was kind of scary but also really cool!".

Natsu was surprised to hear that but just kept a straight blank face. "I guess...". He scoff not really finding it a big deal. "But what were those things anyway?".

"You mean the Shadows?". Lisanna raised her eyebrows before looking at Natsu. "They're what we're fighting against. And that power you used, we call it-".

"A Persona?". Natsu guessed it which got Lisanna shocked to hear he knows about that while Happy is just confused. "Let's just say i had a hunch".

He knew he couldn't talk about the Velvet Room cause he knew she wouldn't believe him if he told her. Plus he still unsure about the whole thing either.

"Oh. Well don't worry, we'll explain everything to you later". Lisanna promise she and others will explain everything to Natsu and Happy so there wouldn't be anymore confusion. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you before".

Natsu just nodded and sighed as he just laid on the hospital bed with his head laying on a pillow while trying to ignore the little headache he's feeling.

"I uh...". Lisanna gulped nervously and a little hesitant like she wants to say something else. "I wanted to tell you something".

"Okay?. Shoot". Natsu shrugs letting her continue on.

"I can kinda relate. To you i mean". She says carefully while trying to come up with the good words to say it.

"What do you mean?". Happy asked for Natsu.

"You see...I grew up with my older sister and older brother, i was the youngest of the three of us". Lisanna explained her story to Natsu. "Our parents died in an accident when i was little, we've became orphans and my big sister Mirai had to step up as head of the family to take care of us, and me and my older brother Elfman always tried not to be burdens to her while doing our best to help out".

"Wow...That must be hard". Natsu honestly can't help but felt sorry to hear that, even though he couldn't express his emotions right that doesn't mean he's heartless not to care. "I'm sorry".

Lisanna just smiled hearing that. "You're all alone too, are you?". She asked hesitantly before looking at him nervously. "To be honest...I already heard about your past".

Normally Natsu would be a little offended to hear when someone brought up his past or how they find out about it. Especially the part where he claims to be raised by a dragon that nobody still believes in his words till this day.

However hearing that Lisanna grew up without parents and only her older siblings Natsu couldn't help but feel okay with it and not too upset about it. "Oh... I see". He said casually not looking upset about it. "Does that include-".

"You said you were raised by a dragon named Igneel?". Lisanna can't help chuckle but not trying to make fun of him. "Well i don't know if that's true or not, but i think it sound cool how you make it seems like it's real".

'If only you knew'. Natsu thought to himself about that.

"Of course Igneel is real". Happy said defensively holding on to his believe towards Natsu. "I may not have met this Igneel but i believe in everything Natsu says. If he says he was raised by a dragon then i believe him 100%, I'll always believed in everything Natsu says".

"Okay okay I'm sorry then i believe in Natsu too". Lisanna said giggling as she hold out her hands to reassure. "But it didn't seem fair, so i wanted you to know about mine too".

"I get it". Natsu nodded in understanding knowing why Lisanna decides to told him.

"This was while ago but...". Lisanna continue to explain about her story. "There was a big explosion in the area 10 years ago. I don't really remember much since i was so young back then, but supposedly Mira told me and Elfman that mom and dad died in the blast, but nobody really knows what happened".

"That's awful". Happy said sadly hearing that and feeling sorry for her.

"At the time, our dad was working in a lab run by the Dreyar Group". Lisanna continue to explain while holding her arms together. "So my big sister was hoping if she stick around long enough, we'll be able to find out more about it. That's why me and my brother also choose to tag along too".

"Does your older siblings go to our school too?". Natsu asked wondering since he hasn't met either of them.

"Yeah actually, Mira is a senior and going to graduate next year while Elfman is the same grades with me". Lisanna smiled as she tidy up her hair a bit. "That's why I'm going to Gekkoukan High too, and why i was there when this happened to you".

Then she just chuckle to herself before sighing sadly like she's still feeling guilty about it. "Not that i was much help anyway...I kinda panicked. That was my first time facing them too". She says regrettingly while facing Natsu with such guilt and shame. "I'm so sorry. You wouldn't have to go through all this if i wasn't such a coward".

"It's not your fault Lisanna". Happy then walks up to her and puts his paw on her hand. "I was scared too".

"He's right. So don't beat yourself up for it". Natsu said reassuringly before looking like he's sorry too. "And... About what i said before, the whole 'Not caring about death' and all. I-I-I'm sorry too...I honestly never really meant it. I just... Don't know what came over me".

Lisanna gasp a little feeling shocked to hear that since he sounds so convincing about it. "Really?, but still...". She wanted ask why he said those things but decides not to. "Sorry for telling you all this the minute you opened your eyes".

"Stop apologizing will ya?". Natsu said annoyedly groaning before sighing. "I already forgive you, so now we're even".

Lisanna smiled nodded in understood. "You know while i was waiting, i thought to myself...'I've been hiding so many things from him, as soon as he wakes up, I'll tell him the truth'". She says honestly. "So thanks for listening, I've been waiting to share that story with someone for a long time".

Natsu didn't know why but he suddenly felt a strange new emotions that he never thought he would be feeling ever again. And it made him feel weird that he wasn't sure how to handle it.

"You're... You're welcome". He says almost hesitantly and sounding like he's shy about it which Happy find it a bit strange coming from him.

Feeling like she should let Natsu rest Lisanna decided to head back to the dorm for now. "Alright, I'm gonna get going". She says as she stood up from the chair she's sitting on. "I'll let the others know your okay. They said you could leave once you've regained consciousness, so I'd think you're free to go home".

"Yay. I can't wait to head back so we can eat a lot of fish". Happy said excitedly can't wait to go home. "You owe me Natsu since i had to stay here to take care of you, i even packed a few leftovers for you".

"That's pretty rare of you". Natsu said sarcastically rolling his eyes much to Happy's annoyance before looking at Lisanna. "And I'll be holding on to your words as you promised you'll explained everything once i got back?".

Lisanna nodded before heading off. "See ya later Natsu". She said her farewell for now before closing the door to let Natsu rest while he still can.

Once it was just him and Happy. Natsu decides to take a little nap for a little while longer since he's still feeling exhausted.

However he groaned as he felt his stomach rumbling. "Man I'm hungry". He said to Happy who immediately went on it and prepare some fish for him. "I can't believe i was out for a week".

'I guess time works differently from here and the Velvet Room'. He thought to himself while not really paying any attention to whatever Happy is talking about. 'Why am i feeling so weird about all this?. Does this new power i have got anything to do with it?. It's like something new inside just woken up I didn't even know i had... Really strange'.
