Hello, new and returning readers! Welcome to 'Whispers Of The Wind'
I won't go into much detail here because the element of mystery is important from the start, but I do want to make a few points …
The story follows the plot of series one of BBC Merlin, with some significant changes that hopefully you'll enjoy, and after the last episode, it transforms into an entirely original plot that is 100% my creation.
It is written in a somewhat 'unusual' way in the sense that a little over half of it is told from Arthur's perspective (not to be confused with POV – everything is written in 3rd person) and, after the grand reveal, it switches to the OC's perspective. So don't be confused when that happens!
Something that matters to me a lot is that I avoid giving my OC lines and actions that belong to other characters in the original series. She's her own person with her own thoughts and moves that actually affect the story.
There are some elements of Greek mythology that play a part in the story. I'm fully aware that I've modified some things to make them fit with the plot. Please don't come at me for things not being exactly accurate to the myths.
Also – don't worry about this story going unfinished, because it's already fully written. It's just a matter of releasing the chapters, which will be coming every Saturday!
