AN: Hey guys. Sorry for such a late update, but I've been busy with school work and stuff like that. Anywho, in this chapter, features Kara's bottomless pit of a stomach. Clearly the show doesn't show a good representation of showing off Kara's eating ability. She always has food in her hand which to me means that she's always eating something. What if she was able to do something to satisfy that appetite of hers every once in a while?

~All characters mentioned (except the competitors) know Kara's secret.

*Alex's POV*

At first, I was a little annoyed at Kara for coming into my life. Of course, two days later and that changed. Kara stood at my door crying and asking for my help. She had trusted me enough to come to me for comfort instead of my mother, so I did. And so began our crazy bond between sisters. Kara taught me her language, I helped her with English. She helped me with math and science homework, I helped her with English and History. Once her powers were under control, thanks to some genius work and creating a bracelet that mimicked the properties of a red sun, Kara could control how much of her powers she wanted and if she wanted just one of her powers.

I was a little jealous of Kara's ability to eat everything, but that faded when we went to a carnival one day. Just not a normal carnival though, a carnival that had a competition in eating food. Food that just so happened to be one of Kara's favorites, peaches. I looked at Kara and she smiled.

"What do you say we check it out?" I said, "Could be a great way to feed ya."

Kara smirked and handed me some money. We entered the competition of course, why would we not. There was a hundred peaches in front of each competitor. There was about ten people who entered. About five dropped at fifteen peaches, but I watched Kara just haul peaches into her mouth one by one. She spit the seeds into the bucket next to her of course, but she kept plowing away. She finished at about seventy peaches. I could see it in her face that she could eat more but she decided to stop and not eat everything. Kara grinned at me and gave a thumbs up. I smirked and the announcer called out the winner.

"Kiera Akita." he said.

Kara had put in an alias so that no one would know it was her. We took the jackpot of money as it was about twenty bucks to enter, so we got a good chunk of change. I had just put the money away in my pocket when mom came up to us.

"Girls, there you are." she said.

"Hi Eliza." Kara said.

Kara still had a content look on her face and I knew that it was because of her finally being able to fill her stomach at least partially. Mom got a suspicious look on her face.

"What did you do?" she asked.

"Nothing. Just enjoying the carnival." I said.

Kara nodded in agreement. We almost made it. We almost got away with mom not knowing what had happened. Except the universe loves throwing a curveball as a man, one of the other competitors, came stomping up to Kara.

"You, you little cheat. How can a skinny girl like you win a competition like that when it should have been me?" the arrogant cocky prik said.

Kara smirked and said something that made me proud, "What? Can't keep up big guy? Maybe you need to practice more."

I had to slap a hand over my mouth to keep from bursting out laughing. The look on his face was priceless. Thankfully he ran away before mom asked the big question that we were trying to avoid.

"What was that man talking about Kara?" Mom asked.

Kara sighed, "Well, Alex and I decided to enter a food eating competition. Of course, I won."

Eliza sighed, "Did you at least hold back?"

Kara nodded, "I left thirty left of the original stack."

Eliza smiled, "Good."

And so, we took that as permission. We entered Kara into a food competition once a month as it was a great way to save some money and give Kara a feast. Kara of course demolished the competition. She made faces at the vegetables she had to eat once, but she did it. After that, she ate vegetables every once in a while. She avoided kale like the plague though. Kale was evil. Forget Kryptonite, kale was Kara's weakness. Kara would take kryptonite any day.

I can attest to that as over the years, I got into the DEO and two years later with Kara following as Supergirl, she deliberately refused to eat kale and suddenly anything kryptonite related disappeared. Once some hefty players came into the folds of the Superfriends, we made bets on who could outlast Kara in a food competition. Kara of course, didn't eat as much in front of people, obviously the normal amount for a human, but behind the scenes, we would order at least ten pizzas just for Kara to feel full for a couple minutes.

I won the bets most of the times since I've seen Kara eat. It was amazing when Lena and Cat both came into the fold. Kara had somehow managed to get both to attend a game night. It was a legendary argument between the Queen of all Media and the only free Luthor.

"I think Kara can eat more than that." Lena said in reply to Cat's claim of Kara eating about twenty pizzas.

"Oh yeah?" Cat said.

"Yeah, she could probably eat up to about thirty." Lena fired back.

It went back and forth. Then the bets were made. Most people made bets on Kara eating twenty, however, Cat and Lena both put in a million dollars into the pot. A million freaking dollars as if it were pocket change! Carter who was looking at Kara, who had a gleam in her eye, put down a great bet, the final bet.

"Two million, or equal to your bets worth, on Kara eating more than fifty." Carter said with a giant smirk on his face.

Cat seemed shocked that he was even smirking. Carter had been a shy boy at first, but he had seemed to have a bond with Kara after her babysitting him.

"Deal." everyone said.

Oh man and then it just got weirder, the wormhole for Earth 1 appeared and through it came Thea, Oliver, Sara, Barry, Cisco, and Caitlin. Once they heard what was going on they placed their bets too. Oh boy and the stakes rose even higher. Like who would win between Barry and Kara.

I leaned over to Lucy, "This got out of hand real fast."

Lucy just nodded, but she had an amused look on her face.

And just like that, we had a major food competition between Barry and Kara. We actually sold out two pizza shops during this whole thing. And it just got weirder! Barry and Kara made their own bets!

"Barry, if I win, you have to tell people what happened when you caught me and don't pretend that you don't know what I'm talking about." Kara said.

Barry blushed a little, "Deal. If I win, you have to insult Oliver to his face." Barry said.

Kara grinned, "Deal."

They shook on it and jeez. Barry tapped out at about thirty pizzas. Kara kept going and didn't slow down until about fifty and then finally stopped at sixty. We had bought a hundred 24 inch pizzas and there was only ten full boxes left. The absolutely flabbergasted looks on everyone's faces was hilarious! I started giggling, that set off Lucy, and soon everyone was laughing. Even Barry was flabbergasted.

"Damn that was ridiculous. Now I know why Kara's eyes light up whenever there's a mention of a potluck game night." Lucy commented idly.

Everyone groaned. Lucy just mentioned the one word that was almost forbidden to say and soon the ten boxes of pizza left was gone and down Kara's stomach.

"What? I got hungry just at the mention of a potluck." she said.

I laughed, "Kar, I think its a matter of you polishing off seventy whole pizzas. Though you have won food competitions where the stakes were higher."

"What?!"

I laughed harder at the surprised looks on everyone's faces.

"Alex and I enter a food competition about once a month so I could eat enough just under the guise of a competition." Kara said.

Lucy piped up next, "Well, I knew you had to eat at least twice the normal amount of calories a human does, but hearing that comparison and in fact backing it up with this whole thing just proves it."

AN: That's a wrap. So what y'all think? Next one is Kara showing that she can indeed make waves. Just...legal waves and completely crush the other argument. ~Immortalshark
